0:04Oh,
0:07yeah. I've been awake for a little bit,
0:11but not doing anything interesting.
0:14I mean, much like a cat, you fell asleep
0:18on my lap.
0:25Right. And much like a cat owner,
0:30you know, I didn't want to move and wake
0:32you up. So, I've been here for a few
0:35hours waiting for you to come, too.
0:39What were you in a coma or something?
0:44A food coma, you said?
0:47Oh, yeah. Trust me.
0:51[sighs]
0:52Me, too.
0:55Would
0:57you look at this place?
1:00It's going to take a I don't even know.
1:04At least two days to clean everything
1:06up.
1:10No, not that my cleaning skills have
1:12gotten any worse. But I'd rather pace
1:16myself with something like this.
1:19If I do it all at once, I'm going to get
1:22completely burnt out.
1:25Do you see how much stuff is on the
1:27floor?
1:28Solo cups, candy wrappers. Oh god, so
1:33many candy wrappers.
1:41Don't even tell me about how many dishes
1:43are probably in the sink.
1:45I don't even want to know.
1:53Oh boy.
1:56So,
1:58how's your head feeling?
2:00You uh went a little crazy on the punch
2:04last night.
2:10I tried to tell you it was spiked, but I
2:14didn't seem to care.
2:20It was just too good.
2:23I get it.
2:25I do make a mean punch, but be careful
2:28next time, okay? It's a little hard to
2:31see you like this. Makes me think of
2:34when you're sick.
2:37And then I get all sappy and I feel all
2:40bad for you.
2:46Well, hey, I'm already doing my part as
2:48your girlfriend.
2:51Mhm.
2:53I offered you my lap to rest in, and you
2:56were sleeping very soundly.
3:02You know what?
3:04I'm thinking my head hurts, too, after
3:06looking around this room.
3:11We should definitely just lay low today.
3:14Cleaning can
3:17[snorts]
3:18be later tonight.
3:23Yeah,
3:25not that I want to procrastinate too
3:27much, but right now
3:32I'm absolutely not feeling it.
3:38Oh, hey, the music's still playing.
3:42You want me to keep that going or do you
3:45want to change it?
3:51I mean, I'm totally fine with what's
3:53playing right now, but if you wanted
3:56something different, just let me know
3:58and I'll go tune it up or whatever.
4:02[gasps]
4:03[sighs]
4:06So,
4:10you want to tell me about stuff?
4:12What'd you get up to last night? Aside
4:15from chugging all the punch.
4:22Yeah, I was there.
4:25But I'm asking you because we didn't
4:27stick together the whole night. Since it
4:30was at our house, I didn't mind us, you
4:33know, getting lost in the crowd a bit.
4:38Besides,
4:40I had to keep an eye on everyone and
4:42make sure
4:45nothing was getting broken,
4:48which
4:50I guess was a success, but it's still
4:53frustrating to end up with all of this
4:56instead.
4:58Or regardless,
5:09thinking.
5:12What about hot chocolate? Think it would
5:15help with your head at all? I have some
5:18peppermint I can give you.
5:24Jumping into the holidays already?
5:27Yeah, I thought we were already there.
5:31Well, you stay put. Okay.
5:35Get comfy under the covers and I'll
5:38light the fireplace and then make us hot
5:40chocolate. Once I get back, you can tell
5:44me about everything.
6:13All right. Now, you have your hot cocoa.
6:17Sit up a little bit. Okay. Now, I don't
6:19want you choking on stuff.
6:22So,
6:23here's your premium hot chocolate mix
6:27with milk and a peppermint stick.
6:33We're not at Christmas quite yet, but
6:36you know,
6:38is the season or something.
6:42That late Halloween party was pretty fun
6:45though. Yeah, we got to kind of combine
6:48some holidays.
6:50gives people a good chance to get
6:51together one time as opposed to a bunch.
6:59Oh, I don't doubt that other people are
7:01holding a bunch of other parties, but
7:04this was our one contribution and now
7:07people can leave us alone.
7:13It's not the biggest deal. Of course, I
7:16enjoy that kind of stuff, but I don't
7:19know. I'd prefer some holidays inside
7:23with you.
7:25Besides, I can't really take off that
7:28much work. I'd lose a bunch of money.
7:31And we know how bad that went last time.
7:37No candy supply for a whole month.
7:41I shudder just thinking about it.
7:48Do you think there is any leftover
7:50Halloween candy? I thought I ate it all
7:52already.
7:57Yeah, there's probably something shoved
8:00in the couch or whatever. You should
8:02take a look while you're there. I'll
8:04light the fireplace and then I'll come
8:07join you in a second.
8:20What's up, babe?
8:24Right. Right.
8:26Uh, well, I think my mix is something
8:29from specifically Victoria Housekeeping.
8:32I want to say it was in a get well soon
8:35goodie basket from Lon and probably
8:39Reena, but h you know how she is with
8:43food. It's best she stays away from that
8:46kind of stuff.
8:50Oh yeah, I wasn't sick for too long, but
8:54you know how it goes. Every time I
8:57develop a very subtle, very slight
9:01cough,
9:02Corin starts freaking out and then it's
9:05Reena. And then Von Lon eventually just
9:09sends me home.
9:12Because of my immunity though, I'm
9:15usually only sick for what, less than a
9:19day.
9:22But you know how rich people are. If
9:26their server is coughing or sneezing or
9:29anything of the sort, they find it quite
9:33unsanitary
9:35and they will not tolerate it.
9:42Oh yeah. Sending in a report, grabbing
9:46the manager,
9:48[sighs]
9:49the whole shebang.
9:52I know because I sneezed.
9:59Let's clink to healthy holidays. Huh?
10:04Think
10:07it smells good.
10:10Oh, yeah. You want to sniff mine? Here.
10:15It's Victoria Housekeeping
10:17special chocolate pumpkin cinnamon mix.
10:21And it definitely has a fancy name, but
10:24we usually get early versions of the
10:26recipes for free.
10:32Only when they can be easily packaged,
10:34though. Other recipes require
10:38too many expensive ingredients to supply
10:41all the employees with stuff all the
10:43time.
10:45But hey, holiday season is full of free
10:48treats. Especially
10:53candy.
10:54Our candies that we make during the
10:57holidays.
10:59Oh, they sell out real fast.
11:02I'd take the whole bucket if I could.
11:08Don't I do that already?
11:12Don't tell Reena.
11:55>> [sighs]
11:55>> It's pretty Good.
12:02You sure you want to try mine?
12:05Okay, I warned you.
12:12Swallow. Swallow.
12:15I don't want you spitting everywhere. I
12:17know. I'm sorry. It's got a crab ton of
12:22sugar in it.
12:24Not that that was unexpected trying
12:26something for me,
12:28but I get it. Sometimes you forget how
12:32much of a sugar junkie I am.
12:38I know with my sleepy demeanor, it can
12:41be sometimes
12:44rather misleading.
13:06>> [sighs]
13:09>> So, how's it been?
13:13How was yesterday? Did it go okay?
13:17Or anything I could have planned better?
13:22Mhm.
13:29Just some placement stuff.
13:32Yeah, I get it.
13:34Probably more food, too. Those jello
13:38shots were amazing.
13:43I'd like to think I'm pretty good with
13:45them, but people seem to like your
13:48recipe better.
13:50I don't blame them. They're pretty good.
13:58[sighs]
14:00Oh, yeah. Work's been fine for me.
14:05Trust me, as sickness starts going
14:08around, those with weak immune systems
14:11start going home.
14:14So a lot of the customer bases we have
14:19well
14:20you know they get sick they go home they
14:25sleep and we are a-ok okay for at least
14:29a week.
14:34Yeah you're right.
14:38It is more on and off. And trust me, I'm
14:42not praying on these people's downfall,
14:45but
14:48less business for me means less work.
14:52And then I get to do fun things like
14:55this.
14:56That was one of the only reasons I was
14:59able to take it off anyway.
15:02If we were super busy, there's no way I
15:05would have been able to come over today
15:07or hold this party for that matter.
15:13Of course, when these people get better
15:16again, there's always the rush of people
15:19coming in. People with their families,
15:23single rich guys taking their eighth
15:25day,
15:27eighth date of the week.
15:31Sorry, I think I'm slipping on my teeth.
15:36Best to keep drinking. I think so, too.
15:40Seems like I'm not the best talker
15:42tonight.
15:46Is yours good? Did I make it okay?
15:53Well, good. I hope so.
15:56I work at Victoria Housekeeping after
15:59all. If I couldn't make your drink,
16:01right?
16:03I think they would have grounds to fire
16:05me.
16:08I hope the peppermint's helping, though.
16:11You know, it's it's useful for
16:14headaches.
16:18Careful, though. Don't drink it too
16:20fast.
16:22Slow sips, okay? Just take your time.
16:31Good.
16:33I'm glad your hot cocoa's to your
16:35liking. How about we rest our voices
16:39and our hats over some candy?
16:45I did somehow
16:48find some hiding in the couch.
16:53Here, have one.
17:21Well,
17:22sleep well. Okay.
17:25Sweet dreams.
17:28I hope your head feels better
17:31soon.
17:37>> [sighs]
