0:00Thousands of people went to the very
0:01place Charlie Kirk was assassinated on
0:04the one-year anniversary. They went to
0:06Utah Valley University. And I want to
0:09show you this speech from Glenn Beck
0:12where he spoke at this massive event
0:15honoring Charlie Kirk. And he spoke not
0:18just about Charlie's legacy, but why it
0:21is that we've been seeing so much hatred
0:24and lies, evil and conspiracies. Um, and
0:28much of that tied up with anti-semitism.
0:30For Glenn, as for myself, we do not see
0:33any of this as an accident, as a reason
0:36the two are connected. But Glenn
0:39explains this in uh, I think a really
0:41profound way. And I want to share with
0:43you what he had to say. This is from his
0:45speech, the link to the full thing in
0:47the video description. Um, and a
0:49reminder as always to hit that subscribe
0:50button if you haven't already because it
0:52keeps you up to date with our content,
0:54helps us to grow the channel and get
0:55really get the word out. Anyway, have a
0:57watch Glenn. Thank you. [cheering]
1:01It is truly
1:04it's an honor to be here. And as we were
1:07uh as we were praying earlier today,
1:10somebody was praying and I'm listening
1:12to them and they're praying for safety
1:13and they're praying for the spirit to
1:15attend. And all I could hear in my head
1:18was, "Let's go celebrate this man's
1:22life.
1:24[cheering]
1:26[applause]
1:30>> I want to talk about you.
1:34I want to talk about the last year
1:37because in the last year, a year ago, we
1:39were all in the same place.
1:43How many of us said,
1:46"I am Charlie Kirk."
1:50[cheering]
1:52[applause]
1:53Some of us said it in a stadium filled
1:54with 50,000 people. Some of us said it
1:57alone in a car with the radio on.
2:02But tears in our eyes, we had to pull
2:04the car over and say, "I am Charlie
2:07Kirk." And that didn't mean that we were
2:10going to start a podcast or a movement.
2:11It didn't mean that we were going to
2:13change the face of America or politics
2:15or the world. What it meant was that you
2:18would dedicate your life to learning and
2:22living and loving and speaking the truth
2:26when and where it needs to be spoken.
2:29So many of us
2:31[applause]
2:34So many of us made a promise a year ago.
2:37Some even made a promise that they would
2:39be the guy under the white tent someday.
2:41Take Charlie's table.
2:44Well, it's been a year. It's checkup
2:47time.
2:50What have you accomplished in a year?
2:53How have you changed in a year?
2:56What has the organization accomplished
3:00this last 12 months?
3:03But more importantly,
3:06I want you to ask yourself,
3:08how is my soul?
3:11How is my soul?
3:13How is my mind? Am I better informed? Am
3:16I enriched?
3:18Am I better educated? Am I more loving?
3:21Am I more tolerant? How are the
3:23conversations around your table?
3:28The killer that martyed Charlie
3:32bizarrely thought he was killing hate.
3:35In his sad, twisted mind, he believed
3:37that hate could somehow or another
3:41extinguish what he thought was hate. He
3:44saw himself as a hero in a broken world.
3:48But in reality,
3:50it was he that was broken. And the hero
3:53was the one he shot. His path was
3:56violence.
3:58And he thought the end would be death.
4:02He didn't know that death is not the
4:04end. Not for Charlie. Not for anybody
4:07who loved God like Charlie loved God.
4:12Because every action has an equal and
4:15opposite reaction. Play this out with me
4:17for a second. Play this out. Charlie was
4:20murdered. That was the action.
4:24Where's the equal and opposite reaction?
4:28You. You are the equal and opposite
4:33reaction. You are the life after his
4:36death. Make no mistake. Charlie knew.
4:39Charlie knew. He knew something like
4:42this could happen. He did it
4:50because he loved God.
4:52He loved his country.
4:56He loved you
4:58enough to continue to do it because he
5:01believed the truth mattered enough to
5:03keep going. And damn the consequences.
5:07I'm going to continue to go. And what
5:10happened after that tragic day a year
5:12ago? It wasn't politics. It had nothing
5:15to do with politics. I have been doing
5:17this for a very long time. And I have
5:20never seen anything like what happened
5:23a year from tomorrow.
5:26What happened not just here, but all
5:29over the world. I saw kids standing in
5:33line to be baptized. I saw people go
5:36back to church. I saw people buy a suit
5:38because they didn't have a suit and they
5:39thought, "I've got to go to church and I
5:41want to dress up."
5:44roommates that had never said the word
5:46God before suddenly were saying it out
5:48loud. Bibles sold out.
5:52Bibles sold out. It this whole movement
5:55crossed the oceans in hours.
5:59That's not political. That's the
6:02almighty God.
6:04[cheering]
6:08[applause]
6:12>> [applause]
6:16>> I want you to remember what happened.
6:19Not the tragedy, the beauty, the hope,
6:23the arrival of God. I want you to
6:26remember that. Sear that into your soul
6:28because people will try to talk you out
6:30of it. At some point, they'll say, "None
6:32of that happened. It was real. I saw it.
6:35You saw it." And I got to tell you, it
6:38was not set up by anybody in this room.
6:40There were no committees putting that
6:42together. No committee could have done
6:44it. Only God could have done it. And it
6:47was awesome.
6:52[applause]
6:57[applause]
6:59>> But let me talk to you again about the
7:01equal and opposite reaction. Just as we
7:03were getting our sea legs, the other
7:06side, darkness stepped up. Equal and
7:10opposite reaction. So now after that
7:13swept the world, it was evil's turn to
7:16step to the plate.
7:19And he gave it his best shot. Honestly,
7:22I thought the shock of Charlie's murder
7:25would make us all step back and
7:26reconsider what we were doing to one
7:29another. But the opposite happened.
7:32There's more blood lust for ideological
7:34enemies than there was a year ago.
7:37There's more open acceptance as of death
7:40as a reasonable end for a political
7:43enemy or somebody you disagree with or a
7:45CEO of a health care company or innocent
7:48children at the hands of their own
7:50mother. It's a death cult.
7:54[cheering]
8:04>> [applause]
8:07>> And I do not speak about this often,
8:12but suddenly people that many of us
8:15thought were friends, people we shared
8:18the stage with, people we defended,
8:21people we sat next to at dinner,
8:24arrived at a completely different
8:26conclusion.
8:28And it was someplace dark. Suddenly good
8:33was being labeled evil and then evil was
8:36being labeled good. And we hap it
8:39happened so fast within two weeks.
8:42Within two weeks everything changed. You
8:45barely had time to think.
8:48People were asking me what is happening?
8:51I don't know.
8:53I don't know what was happening.
8:56Suddenly, the people that were closest
8:58to Charlie, even his young widow, were
9:00under suspicion. And then, strangely,
9:02the most bizarre thing, and I just want
9:04you to follow follow this logically with
9:06me. Help me out.
9:09Somehow or another,
9:12this all turned in to a fight about the
9:15Jews.
9:20Ow, my head hurts.
9:23[applause]
9:29>> [applause]
9:31>> I want you to think about how odd this
9:33is because I spent some time noodling
9:35this one. Think how odd this is. A young
9:37Christian is killed on an American
9:39campus for speaking with college
9:42students for daring them to think. And
9:45within months, the loudest voices that
9:48are claiming to be on his side are
9:50talking about nothing else except how
9:52bad Jews are.
9:54Wait, what?
9:57This took me a while to figure it out
9:59cuz there's got to be an answer to that
10:01lunacy.
10:03How do you connect that puzzle together?
10:06Let me help you because it's actually
10:09logical. It is not a coincidence. It is
10:13not a detour. It's actually the oldest
10:16trick on earth. Because the enemy that
10:19we all face, each and every one of us,
10:22the enemy of your soul, has never been
10:26after a party or a politician
10:30or a position in government or a
10:32country. It's never been about any of
10:35that. We are not at war with flesh and
10:39bone. The common enemy, our common
10:42enemy, the enemy of all mankind, is
10:45gunning not for you. He is gunning for a
10:49very specific God. The God of Abraham,
10:53Isaac, and Jacob. The first God, the
10:57only God. [cheering]
11:03>> [applause]
11:07>> Now, why why would this be a war on God?
11:11On that specific God? What makes that
11:15God so intolerable? What has made him so
11:18intolerable for 4,000 years?
11:22It's simple. And everything we debate
11:25today, everything that is is bothering
11:28us that we we fight over, it all boils
11:32down to this one thing.
11:36Our God is a God that deals with each of
11:38us one at a time.
11:41He does not deal with the collective.
11:46And everything that everyone is debating
11:49right now is the collective. You have a
11:52different opinion. No, you don't have
11:55that opinion. You're over here with us,
11:57the collective.
11:59No, you want to be that, you can't be
12:01that. You have to be this over here. You
12:03disagree with my politics, you can't do
12:05that. You must join us here or you're an
12:07enemy. That's the collective. Marxism,
12:10it's the collective.
12:12Our God is the God of the individual. He
12:16speaks to one old childless man.
12:21[applause]
12:26>> [applause]
12:27>> When our God showed up, he spoke to an
12:29old childless man in the desert and he
12:32gave him a name and one that will be
12:35known for generations, Abraham. He lets
12:38another man wrestle with him all night
12:40long, then blesses him and gives him a
12:42name, Jacob. Every collectivist system
12:46ever built has got to get rid of that
12:49God.
12:51They've got to get rid of that God
12:54because he's not a rival power.
12:59They have to get rid of that God because
13:02as long as you have any part of you that
13:05believes that your God is the God of the
13:09individual, that he knows your name.
13:12That's a piece of you that the state,
13:15the power can never ever take.
13:19[cheering]
13:20Stick with me on this for one one more
13:22minute.
13:23What was Charlie most known for?
13:30>> When you look at Charlie and you see him
13:33like the rest of the world that just
13:36doesn't even know him, they just see
13:39him. He's known for a folding table on
13:42campus,
13:44talking to one person at a time,
13:48listening to somebody who came there to
13:51humiliate him,
13:54treating that kid like a man that he
13:57knows was made in the image of God,
13:59speaking, listening, reaching out to the
14:02one and then the next and then the next,
14:05knowing that he could do whatever he
14:08could do. He could love you. He could
14:10embrace you. He could speak kind words
14:12to you while speaking truth, knowing
14:15that a lot of these people are going to
14:18go away and hate him.
14:21He was doing the retail work of
14:24individual human beings one-on-one. And
14:27there is nothing more dangerous to any
14:30system that needs you to be a category.
14:35My
14:38my son
14:42goes to this university.
14:47I was talking to him last week and I
14:49said, "What do people need to hear?
14:53What do people in the hallway say about
14:56Charlie now a year later? What are
14:59students saying?"
15:02He had a lot to say, but my son told me
15:05one story about a 19-year-old girl who
15:09walked past their table last week and
15:12looked at them
15:14and said, "Oh, ow, ow, my throat hurts."
15:18And then made gurgling sounds.
15:27That's a 19-year-old girl.
15:30That's somebody's daughter.
15:34That is somebody somewhere along the
15:36line someone taught her
15:41that cruelty is a personality
15:44and it's a fine one. If you're vicious
15:47enough to the right people, it becomes a
15:50virtue and your many many friends will
15:53laugh.
15:57I wondered what Charlie would say. And
15:59Charlie would say, "She's not a monster,
16:03Glenn.
16:05She's not. She's a casualty.
16:07Somebody fed her that hate, and it will
16:10cost her far more than it will ever cost
16:13us."
16:15When something like that happens to you,
16:16and it will, if it hasn't happened yet,
16:18it will.
16:21What you need is not a comeback.
16:28Do not try to win that argument.
16:32A comeback is what they want. A comeback
16:35to get you riled up and it makes the
16:39fight on her level and then the whole
16:42room and the whole world gets to watch.
16:46If that happens to you,
16:49do this.
16:51Start with this. His name was Charlie
16:54Kirk. He was 31.
16:58He had a
17:01he had a wife and two babies.
17:04And you know what? If he were here, he
17:06wouldn't fire back at you. He would have
17:09talked to you for about an hour. And my
17:11guess is in that hour, he would have
17:14ended up really liking you. And there's
17:17a pretty good shot in that hour you
17:19would have ended up really liking him.
17:24Then go to lunch.
17:26Here's why. You will lose that exchange
17:29in the room. Nobody's going to cheer for
17:32you with that answer.
17:35But you just might win in her head in
17:39the dark, in the quiet of the night at
17:422:00 a.m. when she sees your kindness.
17:45And that response, that's when people
17:49change their lives. Not in a room with
17:52everybody arguing. [applause]
18:03You've been watching this conflict for
18:05years now, maybe your whole life. The
18:07wars, the terror, the protests, the
18:10politics.
18:11And underneath all of it, a set of
18:13phrases [music] that get repeated so
18:15often they've stopped meaning anything.
18:17And yet somehow they still shape
18:19everything. Two-state solution.
18:21>> The two-state solution solution.
18:23occupation, Palestinian statethood. But
18:25if you want to understand where all of
18:27this comes from and why things seem so
18:30stuck, there is one moment you need to
18:33know about. One agreement signed 30
18:35years ago that created the world we're
18:38living in now. It's called the Oslo
18:40Accords.
18:43A peace agreement, or so the world was
18:45told,
18:47secretly negotiated
18:50in the Norwegian city of Oslo
18:53and signed on the White House lawn in
18:551993 between the Israeli government and
18:57the Palestine Liberation Organization,
19:00the PLO, a Palestinian political
19:02movement that had spent decades waging a
19:04terror campaign against Israeli
19:06civilians. Most people have never heard
19:08of the Oslo Accords, or they've heard
19:09the name and moved on. But Oslo is the
19:12reason Israeli occupation dominates the
19:14[music] news bulletins. It's why
19:16two-state solution is the only
19:18diplomatic language anyone speaks. It's
19:20why Israel left Gaza in 2005. And why
19:23that withdrawal handed Hamas the [music]
19:26launchpad for October 7th. It's why
19:28Israel, even after the largest massacre
19:30of Jewish people since the Holocaust,
19:32found itself [music] in the dock at the
19:34International Court of Justice rather
19:36than unequivocally backed by the world.
19:38Oslo didn't just fail as a peace
19:40process. Oslo built the framework, the
19:42moral, political, and military framework
19:45inside which Israel has been trapped
19:47ever since. And until you understand
19:49what it actually was and why it [music]
19:51was built, you cannot understand what is
19:53happening today. In this JTV Plus
19:55documentary, we're going to show you
19:57what Oslo was really designed to
19:59achieve. How it handed a terrorist
20:01organization the space to build the
20:03machine that carried out October 7th.
20:05how it trapped Israel in a moral
20:07framework it can't win inside and why
20:10the world is still reaching for Oslo's
20:12language today because Oslo didn't just
20:14shape the conflict, it shaped how the
20:16entire world thinks about it. This film
20:18is going to show you where it all began,
20:20why it still hasn't ended, and how
20:22Israel can finally escape Oslo's trap.

20:38win them with kindness and grace.
20:43I'm going to give you a warning as I'm
20:45here talking about this 19-year-old
20:46girl. I am very concerned about a few
20:49things. And I want to start with women.
20:51And I don't I this is not an accusation.
20:55This is a warning. Okay?
20:58When a culture loses its women, that
21:02culture dies every time. When [applause]
21:10when women become monsters, when women
21:14become men,
21:16that culture is in trouble.
21:22>> [cheering]
21:23[applause]
21:26>> I want to expl I want to I want to
21:28explain something to all young women
21:30that you may not understand and I speak
21:32from experience cuz I'm a guy and I know
21:36the effect of women and the effect women
21:39have had on my life.
21:45Women are not responsible for men.
21:50>> You're welcome. Here's what you are
21:52responsible for. You set a standard. You
21:55set a standard for guys. And every guy
21:58in this room knows that.
22:01Every guy knows that. You set us. I got
22:05to tell you, I will lift the heaviest
22:08box. I will I will work my brains out. I
22:12will sober up. I'll provide. I will I
22:15will stand up in the hallway when the
22:17standard is being measured against us
22:19and it is high.
22:22But if you don't hold that standard,
22:25guys are going to sink to the lowest
22:27level you could possibly imagine.
22:32[applause]
22:38And maybe this is something that guys
22:39don't want to say or maybe you don't
22:41want to hear, but
22:43we want to look up to the women in our
22:45lives. We want to we need you to call us
22:50up. That's not a burden. That's more of
22:53a confession about guys. We need you. So
22:57to the women in the room, I got to tell
23:00you, I think you've been handed the most
23:02insulting definition of strength in
23:05American history. Strength as an
23:08attitude, a comeback. I don't need
23:10anybody. Never being surprised by
23:13anything. Never letting a man see that
23:16you wanted more than he offered.
23:19That's the lie that has put so many
23:22women in our culture right now in a
23:23corner with armor and swords and they're
23:26like, "The world's against me. The world
23:28hates me." No, no, no, no.
23:32Consider perhaps the world doesn't hate
23:34you.
23:36Perhaps the world loves you. Perhaps you
23:40might be tired with all that armor and
23:42fighting. Perhaps you need to put that
23:45armor down. And the only true armor you
23:48need is the full armor of God.
23:51[cheering]
23:56[applause]
23:57The strongest women I have ever known
24:01are not the loudest. They're just the
24:03ones with a high standard that nobody
24:05could talk them out of. They were
24:08unbeliev I should I say were. I'm
24:10thinking my wife right now. She's
24:13unbelievably
24:14hard to impress,
24:19but she is unbelievably
24:22easy to love.
24:25[cheering]
24:29[applause]
24:33>> So
24:35women, please do culture a society.
24:40Refuse to be impressed by the lesser
24:42version of the guy you know he can be.
24:48By the way,
24:50[applause] now
24:53let me flip the table on you brothers.
25:00Look what our society has done to our
25:02men.
25:04We have young men that cannot launch 26
25:08years old in the basement 300 hours into
25:10a game.
25:12Terrified of a job interview, but more
25:15terrified of asking a girl out for a
25:18date.
25:22[applause]
25:25That's not right.
25:28We need children.
25:32Get together.
25:34Get married.
25:36Have sex. Have lots of it.
25:43[cheering]
25:46I mean, it really, guys, it's not this
25:50hard.
25:55By the way, by the way, by the way,
26:00when you ask a girl out to dinner, ask
26:05her to her face.
26:08>> Wait, wait, wait. Was that the girls
26:10doing that? Girl, girl, you had cheer
26:12all you want. I thought that was the
26:13guys for a second. I'm like, I'm not
26:14done with you.
26:17When you ask a girl out for a date and
26:21you show up at her house, put some
26:23freaking pants on and a nice shirt.
26:28Don't show. Girls, I'm telling you right
26:30now, if a guy shows up at your door in
26:33cargo shorts, just say this. I'm sorry.
26:36Is that the same t-shirt t-shirt you
26:38were wearing earlier while you were
26:39playing your video games in your
26:41basement? And then close the door.
26:45I guarantee you he'll go put some pants
26:48on and he won't show up like that
26:50anymore. Don't you get dressed up for
26:52him if he's not going to dress up for
26:53you. You [cheering] You are owed more
26:57than that. You deserve more than that.
26:59And guys, so do you. So do you.
27:03You are amazing people.
27:06Start enjoying that. Start expressing
27:10that. Start looking at each other that
27:12way and going, "Ben, this is
27:14unbelievable how great this is." Don't
27:17let the society drag you down. Don't. We
27:20now have men who will say anything
27:23online, but nothing at the Thanksgiving
27:26table. We have men who have never in
27:29their lives done a hard thing on
27:32purpose. Men who have somehow gotten the
27:34idea that fighting for right means
27:36posting.
27:38It's not. You were made on purpose. You
27:42were made for a purpose. And that's not
27:45a construct. I'm sorry I'm saying that
27:47at a university. That's not a stupid
27:49construct. That's the truth. You were
27:52made exactly the way you were supposed
27:53to be made. You have everything. No one
27:56can stop you. No one can stop you if you
28:01know who you are. You know who directs
28:04your steps. You ask for forgiveness.
28:07You're kind. You're gracious.
28:09Who's going to stop you? No one can stop
28:13you. Know that's your power.
28:16[applause and cheering]
28:23[applause]
28:23And it takes both male and female to
28:25build, both to fight, both to love, both
28:28to nurture, both to protect, both to
28:31raise up the next generation who will be
28:34better than I was, better than you are.
28:37That's our goal. Your goal. If you don't
28:40like the world, have children and raise
28:43better children. They will change the
28:46world. [cheering]
28:50[applause]
28:55[applause]
28:58I'm just going to do it anyway. Uh,
29:02I met I met your and I I say this
29:05sincerely. I met your uh president of
29:07your university today
29:10and I have to tell you I said to you I
29:12said to him, "Boy, I don't envy you in
29:15your job because no matter which way you
29:18decided, you're hated by one side or the
29:22other." He was so gracious and kind.
29:28But let me speak about universities in
29:29general.
29:32You come to these places and you are
29:36told that you can sign for $120,000
29:41at 18, an amount of money no bank is
29:45going to give you for a car or for a
29:47house or the greatest business idea.
29:49They're not going to do it. But you can
29:51loan it to what? Do gender studies.
29:57Okay, let's just do the arithmetic on
30:00this one cuz nobody in this building
30:01will do the arithmetic with you. How
30:03much does that pay? Just show me the
30:06starting salary. Show me the interest in
30:0920 years. You're not buying a degree.
30:12That's a mortgage on a house that you
30:15haven't seen and will never ever live in
30:18and one that you may not have needed in
30:20the first place. Do the math. Force
30:24them. Don't take the money cuz you can
30:26get it,
30:28man. You want to go find yourself? Go
30:30find yourself at a Taco Bell. Do that
30:32for Do that for $35.
30:35Don't spend $120,000 to find yourself
30:39here. Cuz I got news for you. I went to
30:41Yale and I took Christologology.
30:44You want to find God, you're not going
30:45to find him in Yale. You want to find
30:47yourself, you're not going to find him
30:48here. You're not going to find yourself
30:50here.
30:56While you're here, you're also probably
30:58told that um family is something you can
31:01get to later after the career, after the
31:05apartment, after you found yourself.
31:08As if family wasn't central to finding
31:12yourself.
31:14[applause]
31:15[cheering]
31:17And and honestly, [applause]
31:21honestly, this is the craziest thing,
31:23and I can say this cuz I've lived it.
31:26What they're telling you is the ability
31:29to have the energy and carry a toddler
31:32on your hip. That that's going to last
31:34forever. You're always going to have the
31:36energy to do that. No, you won't. No,
31:39you won't. Believe me, get to it while
31:42you're young.
31:45You're also most likely told that God
31:48should be a nice private hobby,
31:50uninvolved, standing off to one side, no
31:52opinion on how you spend your Tuesdays.
31:54That's Sunday stuff. And you're also
31:56told it's all their fault. I don't even
31:58know who they are, but it's their fault
32:02for whatever that might be. And they
32:04have all the power and you can't fight
32:07against them. You can't change anything.
32:10You can't better your own life without
32:12some other group of people. And none of
32:15it is your fault. And none of it is your
32:18responsibility.
32:20You're smarter than that. You know this
32:22already. All of that is a lie. And they
32:25And who tells you this? They're not
32:27villains twisting their mustache.
32:31That's not who's telling you that. These
32:33lies are told to you by decent, tired
32:36people who at one point in their life
32:38were told the same thing, believed it,
32:40and never checked, and are now saying it
32:43to you. There is a there is a line that
32:46I'm sure you've heard. Hard times create
32:49strong men. Strong men create good
32:53times. Good times create weak men. Weak
32:58men create hard times.
33:01We're in hard times. I don't know if you
33:03noticed it. We're in incredibly hard
33:05times. Let's go back. Do the math. Who
33:08created that? Oh, not strong men. Weak
33:12men. Weak men. And now we have a society
33:16full of weak men preaching to you that
33:19it was the strong men that created the
33:23bad times. No, it doesn't work that way.
33:25It really doesn't work that way. It's
33:28weak men. And weak men are telling you
33:30that and they want you to be weak men,
33:33too. I'm telling you, it was the weak
33:36men who broke it. And it is the strong
33:40man. It is the strong woman that will
33:44build a much brighter tomorrow.
33:47It's you. You are living the hard times.
33:51Hard times makes
33:54>> strong.
33:56>> That's you. You're the strong man.
33:59You're the strong woman. What will you
34:01create?
34:03>> Good times.
34:06Hard times made us. And I relish that.
34:10Look, I'm a
34:13This is some of you here in Utah very
34:15often.
34:16I'm an alcoholic Mormon.
34:21You do that crazy math, you'll be up all
34:23night.
34:29If it wasn't for all those hard times
34:31that I created for myself and all the
34:34whining, oh, nobody loves me. I to
34:36nobody will give me a break. Oh, God,
34:38shut up. The younger me. Oh, pathetic.
34:43But if it wasn't for the hard times that
34:45I created myself because I was a weak
34:48man and then
34:51I met a great strong woman, I wouldn't
34:55be here today. It was the hard times
34:58that made me.
35:01Enjoy the hard times. Embrace the hard
35:04times. Use the hard times to forge you
35:09into steel that will never bend and
35:12never break. [applause]
35:20[applause]
35:24You know, we we serve God the best
35:28when we just live as proof to the things
35:31that we believe.
35:33That is the best way to convert somebody
35:36to your cause, to your faith, to
35:39whatever. Just live what you claim to
35:43believe. And when you do that, and it's
35:46true, there is so much joy in that.
35:52And that's how people change. They see
35:54your joy. You never have to pass out a
35:57brochure.
36:00You'll never stand at a table again.
36:03If you live the joy that the truth gives
36:07you when you live it, people are going
36:10to say,
36:12"What the hell is wrong with them?"
36:15And then they'll watch you some more and
36:17they'll be like, "I don't know. They're
36:19all kind of happy.
36:23I'm not really happy.
36:26What the hell is wrong with them?"
36:29And you will approach them and you will
36:31find out.
36:33And when you were as weak and as low and
36:35as broken as I was, you will say, "I
36:38don't care if it takes me drinking
36:40chicken blood. I want to live like that.
36:43I want to be happy. I want to love
36:47people. I want to be full of joy."
36:52The strongest argument you will ever
36:54make about what works is just by living
36:57it. Nobody can argue with joy. So, I
37:01want to leave you with a mission if I
37:02may.
37:05I want you to tell the truth in every
37:09way. That boy shows up with cargo shorts
37:11on a date and you're all dressed up.
37:13Tell him the truth.
37:16I want you to stand and tell the truth
37:19out loud with your name on it, but I
37:22want you to tell it lovingly.
37:25Oh, you're wearing cargo shorts.
37:32Tell them without compromise, without
37:35flinching, and say it to their face.
37:38Don't post it.
37:44[applause]
37:48This what Charlie called us to do. This
37:50is what God is calling us to do. This is
37:52what God has been calling man to do
37:54since Abraham. Do the hard thing on
37:57purpose and with purpose
38:01before life makes you do it. Get
38:04knowledge. Get skills. Get the job. Get
38:07out of debt. Get in shape. Get married.
38:10Have children. Build.
38:13Take every individually every individual
38:16seriously. push back the darkness and
38:21stay close to God. The God of that one
38:25man in the desert, the personal one, the
38:28one you can wrestle with, the one who
38:30knows your name, the one who gives you
38:34your name. And that's it. It's no more
38:39complex than that. That's all you have
38:42to do.
38:44God, I wish I would have heard me say
38:46this when I was 18, cuz
38:53I love you,
38:57but sir,
38:59I'm happily married.
39:06Look, we can joke and I said, "That's
39:09it. It's no more complicated than that.
39:10This sucks. That's a hard list to do.
39:13That's a hard list to do. And it will
39:16take everything that you have. It'll
39:19take all you got.
39:21But I'm promising you, it will give you
39:23more than you ever can dream.
39:26I'm inviting you
39:29to join us,
39:31to join the happy people, to join the
39:35people who are just searching for truth.
39:37And we get it wrong from time to time,
39:38but when we do, we go, "That one's on
39:40me. Sorry about that."
39:43Find the work. Find the joy in the work.
39:47Find the power of joy. God right now is
39:50He's just standing in a field and he's
39:53looking at the benches
39:55where you're sitting
39:59and he's not asking if you're qualified.
40:02He's never asked anybody if they were
40:04qualified before. He He's talked to a
40:06shepherd, a stutterer, a teenager, a
40:09prostitute, and a fisherman, quite
40:10frankly, that could not keep his mouth
40:12shut. He's not looking for qualified.
40:16He's looking for you by name. And he's
40:20just looking back going, "Come on. This
40:24is going to be great. Are you coming?
40:28Come on. Come."
40:31That's what God's saying to you.
40:34You've heard this all night.
40:37On the ice coffee hour, Graham asked
40:39him, "Charlie, how do you want to be
40:42remembered?
40:56I want to be remembered
40:58for the courage of my faith.
41:03Charlie,
41:04mission accomplished.
41:07That is how we remember you.
41:11[applause]
41:19That's how Charlie wanted to be
41:20remembered. I want you to ask yourself
41:24tonight and every day, how do you want
41:26to be remembered and live it, live it,
41:31and live it in joy? God bless. There's a
41:35story the entire world has agreed on.
41:37The Israeli Arab conflict is about
41:39[music] land, about occupation, about a
41:42people with a legitimate grievance who
41:44just want a state. Essentially, we are
41:46told this is a political dispute. But
41:48here's what they don't want to tell you.
41:50The Palestinian cause is not about
41:53politics or borders or occupation. It's
41:55about religion, an Islamic religious war
41:59against the Jews. And it always has
42:02been. And that changes everything.
42:05Because if the rejection of Israel is
42:06rooted in theology, not territory, then
42:09no political solution will ever resolve
42:12it. Not two states, not land swaps, not
42:15international guarantees. [music]
42:17Nothing. In this JTV Plus documentary,
42:19we're going to show you how Islamic
42:22theology has informed the Arab
42:24resistance to Israel since even before
42:26its reestablishment. Why Arafat's
42:28secular nationalism was just a mask. Why
42:32the Palestinian cause was never about a
42:35legitimate political grievance. But this
42:37goes even deeper. And we're going to go
42:39where others don't. Because if the
42:41rejection of Israel is rooted in
42:42religion, that is the only place where
42:45we will find the solution. And that
42:46solution begins with the Jewish people
42:48finally doing what they've been afraid
42:50to do for a century. [music] Declaring
42:52without apology who they actually are,
42:55God's people in God's land. Not because
42:57I say so, because God says so. And
43:00because Israel's very existence tears
43:02apart the theological story our enemies
43:05have built their entire world upon.
43:07That's not a side issue. As I'm going to
43:09show you, it's the whole story. Let's go
