0:00So, President Trump recently said that
0:02he wants to basically ban the concept of
0:04Sharia law in America. Um, what does it
0:07actually mean? What do we know about
0:09Sharia law and it's how it would
0:11function in non-Muslim countries? Have a
0:14watch what Melanie Phillips had to say
0:15on John Anderson media. I'll post a link
0:17to the full thing in the video
0:18description. It's important. So, we come
0:21to Sharia courts.
0:23And
0:24uh
0:25Islam in Britain has very much uh it's
0:29it's advanced is very much depended upon
0:32uh the orthodoxy of the day
0:35uh in British elites, uh which is that
0:39uh
0:41Britain and the West have no right to
0:44say that their way of life is superior
0:45to any other. That is racism.
0:48As a result, it will not say it will not
0:51it will not uphold its own core values.
0:54Guys, point out how's it got how's
0:55racism anti-racism gone from we're not
0:58going to discriminate people based on
0:59their color to we're not going to
1:01discriminate based on anyone's values,
1:03no matter how bad or problematic or
1:06hostile or violent they may be.
1:08Go figure.
1:09And in my view, Sharia courts and Sharia
1:13law in Britain is a direct onslaught on
1:17its the one of its key core values,
1:21which is that there is a rule of law
1:24and that law is one law for all.
1:27That is absolutely fundamental to
1:29Britain. I think it's fundamental to
1:32Western democratic society.
1:35One law for all. Once you don't have if
1:38you have different laws for different
1:39groups, it's finished. It's not a
1:41society anymore. It's a set of competing
1:44tribes.
1:45Now,
1:48Sharia courts, I don't know how many
1:49Sharia courts there are,
1:51but I'm prepared to believe it's several
1:53dozen. I just don't know.
1:55Uh but to me, uh Sharia law is itself
1:58inimical to British core values.
2:02Uh, why? Because, um,
2:04Sharia law, uh,
2:06not only divides,
2:09um, those who practice it from those who
2:11don't,
2:12uh, but it does something much, much
2:14more fundamental. Sharia law does not
2:17accept or the Islam does not accept that
2:20there can be any superior form of law to
2:23Sharia.
2:24Uh, because Sharia is the, um, immutable
2:27word of God.
2:28And consequently, secular law cannot be
2:31superior.
2:33Now, people say of the Sharia courts,
2:35"Look,
2:36Jews have their own religious their
2:38their own religious courts, so why can't
2:41Muslims have their religious courts?"
2:44And the answer to that is there is an
2:45absolute difference between the two.
2:48Uh, Orthodox Jews, observant Jews, uh,
2:51live by, uh, Jewish laws.
2:54Uh, so when it comes to marriage,
2:56divorce, other matters,
2:58uh, you know, you're married according
3:00to Jewish religious law, you're divorced
3:02according to Jewish religious law in
3:03Britain. However,
3:06when you're married or when you're
3:07divorced in Britain as a Jew, you do so
3:10under the umbrella of the domestic law
3:13of the land. So, you are married, uh,
3:17your marriage ceremony, your Jewish
3:18marriage ceremony incorporates
3:21the, uh, re- requirements of British
3:25law.
3:26Uh, similarly with divorce. Uh, you are
3:29bound by the rules of divorce
3:32that obtain in, uh,
3:35uh,
3:35that have been passed by Britain's
3:37Parliament. In other words, when it
3:39comes to marriage, divorce, other
3:41matters, Jewish religious courts operate
3:44more as kind of, um,
3:47uh,
3:48uh,
3:48ad- administrative tribunals, which, um,
3:52uh,
3:53regulate life according to Jewish law,
3:56but within the parameters set by English
4:00law.
4:01Um,
4:03Sharia courts, that doesn't happen.
4:05Uh, they do not accept
4:08the superiority of the secular law.
4:11Therefore,
4:13immediately, you don't have one law for
4:15all.
4:16Jews are under one law for all. It's an
4:18absolutely cardinal principle of Jews
4:20around the world. Uh,
4:22the law of the land is the law.
4:25You always are underneath the law of the
4:27land.
4:28Shu-
4:29>> And by the way, if there was a
4:30fundamental problem that you would have
4:32with the law of the land, then they
4:33would have to either lobby to change it
4:35or or leave. Um, I'll talk more about
4:38that in a moment.
4:39>> means you are never underneath the law
4:40of the land. You might go along with it
4:44for various reasons, but you're not
4:46bound by it. You're bound by Sharia. So,
4:49to me, Sharia is in itself subversive of
4:54democracy. It is inimical to democracy.
4:57It is inimical to the core value of
5:00Western society that there should be one
5:02law for all.
5:03Now, this is unsayable. I just said it
5:05to you.
5:06I don't think there's anybody in Britain
5:08saying this. I can't think of anybody
5:11who's saying this. There's not There's
5:12no discussion about it.
5:14Um, it's off the table, because to speak
5:18about it makes you immediately an
5:21Islamophobe, a racist, because in the
5:24minds of many people, Islam is a race,
5:26but let's put that
5:29piece of ignorance to one side. You are
5:31certainly Islamophobic, and you are
5:33divisive, and you are cruel, and all the
5:36all the rest of it, and most important
5:39for the point of view of governments,
5:42it's dangerous to say it,
5:44because you may be killed, we may be
5:47killed, we may be blown up. There is
5:50violence behind this demand.
5:53>> I have to say that that is saying you
5:55can't say that cuz then you're going to
5:56incite violence against you and other
5:58people.
5:59Saying that I would say is a form of
6:01violence and intimidation.
6:03So, when people who say we've got to be
6:04politically correct cuz you're actually
6:06catering to them. It's egregious.
6:09>> [sighs]
6:10>> The fundamental thing here to understand
6:12is that with Islam, for many of its
6:13practitioners and certainly those who
6:15wish to actually read at a literal level
6:16the Quran at a literal level, it is a
6:17political religion.
6:19Now, Judaism, we want to change the
6:21world's values, but through
6:23the ground up, through the as Rabbi
6:25Sacks put it, through the power of the
6:26idea, not the idea of power.
6:29We don't impose truth by force. And we
6:31certainly as Jews don't seek to take
6:33over other countries' whole political
6:36setup
6:37and turn and make these countries into
6:39Halakhic
6:41states in the way that there is this
6:44desire among many parts of the Muslim
6:46world to take over and basically
6:48transform the countries.
6:50We do believe in imposing those values,
6:51but again through through teaching,
6:53through modeling,
6:55you know, an exemplary society and
6:56community and values.
6:59But, welcome the idea that every, you
7:01know, there's there's lots should be
7:02lots of countries and every country
7:03should have its own systems and
7:05specifics. And And that's the
7:07fundamental problem here. When you have
7:09this expansionist mindset of a caliphate
7:11or whatever it is, and that they should
7:12all take over
7:14becomes very very troubling. You know,
7:16the concept by the way of the rule of
7:17law is actually rooted in the Hebrew
7:20Bible, the biblical tradition.
7:22That's what inspired the founders, the
7:23enlightenment thinkers originally of
7:25this concept of separation of powers and
7:27the rule of law because in the Hebrew
7:29Republic 2,000 years ago, the Jewish
7:31kingdom, the king always had to walk be
7:34a have a Torah scroll around him at all
7:36times
7:38to remind him of this message that no
7:40one is above the law including himself.
7:42You'd have the separation of powers
7:44in terms of the king, but then also the
7:46priests, the the Sanhedrin, the courts,
7:49and uh
7:51So, basically, you you would have uh
7:54a a a division there that existed. So,
7:57you've got religious power, monarchical
8:00power, and then the courts as well that
8:02are able to adjudicate on civil matters.
8:06Um and then also the prophets were
8:08another category. And so,
8:11there was this concept that of
8:12separating powers to kind of act as like
8:14checks and balances and provide
8:15different roles. That that's what
8:17inspired the found inspired the founders
8:18of America with creating the executive
8:20branch, the president, the Congress, the
8:23legislature,
8:24um and then the Supreme Court. You'll
8:26know the Supreme Court building has
8:28actually Moses on the top of its
8:30building holding the Ten Commandments.
8:32You look that up. Um but,
8:34this is the point that we understand
8:37that a country that doesn't have uh you
8:40know, a sense in which everyone feels
8:41that they're bound by the same rules of
8:44law, same justice system, it it it
8:46becomes dysfunctional. That, by the way,
8:48is one of the seven Noahide laws, which
8:50we believe are commandments that we
8:51believe all of humanity are obliged to
8:55uh keep. And one of the laws of those
8:57seven is to establish courts of justice
9:00in your country.
9:01And that means that we have to
9:02understand that it's got to be something
9:04that all citizens consider themselves to
9:07be
9:08uh part of, bound by, and shouldn't try
9:11to uh you know, subvert that whole
9:13system. By all means, lobby, try to
9:15change certain things that you think you
9:17would be better laws as as citizens done
9:19in good faith for that sake of that
9:21country. But, the idea of usurping the
9:23whole thing and creating a new
9:25it becomes very uh
9:27very challenging, very very difficult.
9:29Again, do not get me wrong here. The
9:31Jewish people do want to transform Our
9:34our our purpose is to be a light to the
9:36nations, but the key thing is to the
9:38nations.
9:40Not one big uh you know caliphate or
9:42whatever. [laughter]
9:44Um and and this really is lies at the
9:46heart of the issue we're seeing here and
9:48there's going to be a mindset shift in
9:50the Muslim world in terms of how they
9:51approach
9:53their spiritual lives and
9:55how that mixes with politics and the
9:57Western world in coming to terms with
9:59uh the reality of this. Um until we we
10:02do that, we're just going to keep
10:03burying our heads in the sand and and uh
10:05making the problem worse. Another way in
10:08which uh we are fooled
10:11uh allow ourselves to be fooled
10:14uh
10:15by uh you know
10:17uh the part of the Muslim world's
10:19um
10:20PR strategy
10:22into thinking that some of the things
10:24they want to legitimate or and it's
10:25Islamophobic to oppose it, um but
10:28actually it's just part of the desire
10:30for their you know Islamic expansionism
10:33is the very concept of the Palestinians.
10:36The Palestinian identity
10:38is not something that the Arabs care
10:40about. They consider themselves Arabs.
10:42They wouldn't care
10:44if they were taken over by another
10:45Islamic country in Palestine, quote
10:47unquote, just so long as the Jewish
10:49people don't have sovereignty because to
10:51them it's such a theological threat
10:54because it tells them that their whole
10:55theological narrative that Islam's going
10:57to take over. Well, maybe not. Maybe God
10:59never forsook the Jews. Maybe
11:01he never forsook his covenant with them.
11:03Maybe our whole narrative that we have
11:04superceded the Jews is
11:06what do you do with that? That's why
11:07they have to destroy Israel.
11:09And that's why the Christian world is
11:11divided on Israel. Those who accept that
11:13God never forsook the Jews like the
11:14evangelicals, they can embrace it. And
11:15those that don't believe in replacement
11:16theology, they have a much harder time
11:19with Israel.
11:20But to learn more about the the whole
11:22Palestinian identity being invented, let
11:25me play for you the trailer for our
11:26documentary The Invention of the
11:28Palestinians. Cuz we've been so fooled
11:30by this to thinking it's a genuine,
11:32legitimate national identity. No, the
11:34whole thing is cynically concocted to
11:36destroy the Jewish sovereignty, the
11:39restored Jewish sovereignty. And the
11:40subtitle for the film is how a nation
11:43was invented or created to destroy
11:45another. Indeed. Have a watch of the
11:47trailer, and to watch it in full, just

11:52The Palestinians.
11:56We have been told they are an ancient
11:58people fighting for their homeland which
12:00has been stolen from them.
12:04This narrative has fueled decades of
12:06conflict, painting Israel as an occupier
12:08of stolen land.
12:11But what if this identity is not of an
12:13ancient nation, but a modern, cynical
12:15invention?
12:18A political construct designed not to
12:20build a state, but to dismantle the
12:22Jewish one.
12:24In this JTV Plus documentary, we're
12:26going to uncover the truth behind the
12:28creation of the Palestinian identity.
12:31How it was forged in the fires of
12:33Pan-Arabism, absent in historical
12:35records until strategically rebranded in
12:38the 1960s by leaders like Egyptian-born
12:40Yasser Arafat to rally global opposition
12:43against Israel.
12:45We'll trace its roots from the Ottoman
12:47era where Palestine was a region without
12:49a distinct people through the pre-1948
12:52years of Arab rejectionism before
12:54focusing on the pivotal shift of the
12:561960s when Arafat declared, "We should
12:59now be known as Palestinians."
13:02Inventing symbols like the flag to mask
13:04genocidal aims.
13:06This wasn't about self-determination, it
13:08was about exploiting refugees,
13:11suppressing true aspirations under Arab
13:13rule, and perpetuating a war to destroy
13:16Israel.
13:17Join us as we debunk the myths of an
13:20ancient Palestinian nation, expose the
13:22strategic manipulation, and reveal how
13:24this construct has hindered peace while
13:27fueling hate.
13:28Fair, but firm, this is the story of an
13:30identity weaponized not for building a
13:32future,
13:34but for erasing one. To watch this JTV
