29:23And that's what I'm endeavoring to get

29:24over into the church,

29:27the sights.

29:29the sounds and the songs

29:33and the Holy Ghost has seen it and heard

29:36it.

29:38To me, when a church

29:43does what you're just doing right now

29:45and you lift up your hands and your

29:47voices and everybody's in one,

29:51I think that may be the closest thing

29:53that we presently know of heaven on

29:56earth.

33:30filled in the low places and made what

33:34the Bible calls a level spot, a level

33:36place. When he made a level place,

33:39scripture says that everybody got

33:41healed.

33:43tonight. Can we prepare the way of the

33:45Lord? Can we cast down imaginations?

37:49that sound?

37:50[music] You know, and I remember being a

37:52little kid, little chubby little kid,

37:55and I say, "Yes, ma'am." I didn't hear

37:59nothing.

38:03I remember we were on the streets of New

38:05York,

38:07one of the first times I ever went to

38:09New York, and she said, "Stop. Close

38:10your eyes. What do you hear?"

38:15And I'd say, "Well, I I I hear cars

38:18honking.

38:19How many

38:22How many cars are honking?

38:25What kind of shoes are on the pavement?

38:27Can you hear the sound of footsteps?"

38:29See, she was teaching me in the natural

38:32>> how to hear in the spirit. So later on

38:34she'd say, "What do you hear?

50:31struggle. It is a receiving.

50:41try to get him to do something tonight.

50:43He already did what he needs to do. It's

50:46a matter of you entering in

50:52you came for healing tonight, it's just

50:54a matter of saying, "Lord, I take it."

50:56It's an inward laying hold. And uh it's

51:01an act of your spirit. It's not

51:02something you do with your mind. It's an

51:04act of your spirit. And uh you know, I

51:07remember years ago, we used to help in

51:09Kenneth Hagen Ministries healing school.

51:11And uh brother one of brother Hagen's

51:13stories that he told so often there in

51:16that healing school was whenever uh a

51:19lady had come she had had I don't

51:20remember if it was seven operations on

51:22her 11 operations on her throat on her I

51:26think it was hero esophagus or no

51:28actually they they slit her esophagus in

51:30one of the uh operations accidentally

51:34they didn't intend to do that and so it

51:35affected her she couldn't swallow she

51:37couldn't eat meals and u they were

51:40singing just like we were doing right

51:41here tonight

51:43>> worshiping God and the very presence of

51:46God came in there and uh I believe

51:48brother Hagen made made the statement

51:50just the the glory of God's here just

51:51reach up and take what's yours and she

51:54wretched up and took her healing and she

51:56left that place and ate a full Mexican

51:58dinner for the first time since those

52:00operations whenever they slit her

52:02throat. Hallelujah. It's in the glory.

52:07Amen. It's in the glory. And so it's a

52:10matter of just taking it,

52:12>> receiving it. Amen. And it's not just

52:15for those that are he coming for healing

52:17tonight. All of us came for something.

53:07this because it just came up in my

53:08spirit and he wants to share some

53:10things. So, uh, brother David, is it all

53:13right? We could just flow right into

53:17>> Praise the Lord, everybody. Amen. Uh,

53:20before we receive the offering, um, let

53:23me just come down there with y'all.

53:24Okay. You all right?

53:26>> Praise the Lord.

53:28Now, I know you probably already know

53:30this without me telling you

53:32the worship tonight.

53:35What happened was we did one song and I

53:38looked down at the I do have a list.

53:41Some people don't believe I write

53:42>> what you're not going to do.

53:43>> Yeah. Can you say that for the people to

53:46hear?

53:46>> Yeah. It's a list of what you're not

53:47going to do.

53:50>> A list of what I thought I was going to

53:52do that I end up not doing. My youngest

53:56uh son, 23 years old, he's a phenomenal

53:59uh basis and drummer and uh he was in uh

54:02college partial SC scholarship from his

54:04musical ability. I was more thankful for

54:07that than he was.

54:09But um uh I would try to get him to play

54:12for me sometimes and he's like, "I don't

54:14want to play for you." I'm like, "What

54:16do you mean you don't want to play for

54:17me?" He says, "I don't want to play for

54:18you." I said, "People lots of people

54:19want to play for me." He said, "I don't

54:21want to play for you." I said, "Why do

54:23you just want to play for me?" He says,

54:24"Because it doesn't matter what we

54:25practice, you're not going to do it that

54:27way."

54:30And he's right.

54:33But listen, here's the deal. Uh

54:34particularly in Holy Ghost meetings, but

54:36how many pastors are in the room

54:37tonight? Lift up your hand uh real high

54:40so everybody can see it. We're thrilled

54:41that you're here. And you would not be

54:44here if you did not already have an

54:47appetite for the Holy Ghost. you would

54:50have gone to another meeting or hooked

54:52up with another minister. But you know

54:55in your heart what brother Hagen said is

54:57true. What God is doing in the last low

54:59uh last days is building strong local

55:01churches who know the move of the flow

55:05of the Holy Ghost. Something close to

55:07that. Who know the move of the spirit of

55:09God. Well here I realize that Sunday

55:12mornings not every Sunday morning is a

55:14Holy Ghost service. But two, uh, and I

55:17understand that I pastored 13 years and

55:19my dad's a pastor and, um, but right on

55:23the other hand, be prepared to for

55:26heaven to invade your service.

55:29>> Sounds funny when you say invade. You

55:31already want him. You've already invited

55:33him. Be prepared for him to take you up

55:36on that invitation.

55:38>> Be prepared for him to show up for your

55:40hunger. Be prepared for him to show up

55:43and match your confession. Be careful

55:45what you've been saying. You've been

55:46saying there's an outpouring. We're in a

55:48move of the Holy Ghost. Are you sure

55:50you're ready for it?

55:52>> And so we ready for it means I'm ready

55:54to turn on a dime and give 8 cents

55:56change.

55:58>> You understand right? Just turn make a

56:00turn. And I tried to get this across so

56:02as best I could to the to uh in worship

56:05school, but that was a demonstration.

56:08>> And listen to me carefully. I'm going to

56:10receive the offering without taking too

56:11long. Uh, love polish, love a good

56:14performance, but a worship service is

56:16not a performance. If it's a

56:17performance, sell me a ticket and I'll

56:19come to your concert.

56:22Thank you for your enthusiasm.

56:24But what I'm not looking for is polish

56:27or performance. I'm looking for

56:29presence, no matter what it takes to get

56:31it.

56:31>> Now, listen. Pastors and music

56:33directors, just stop every once in a

56:35while and take note. Is that

56:37congregation singing or are they

56:39watching?

56:41I've been in meeting after meeting after

56:43meeting. Listen, I'm up for a good show.

56:45I'm up for a good concert, but just say

56:47what it is. Don't call it a worship

56:49service if it's a concert. And the way

56:52that you know it that it is a worship

56:54service is it's serving worship.

57:00>> If I was serving a meal, I would serve

57:04you. that is the platform serving

57:08worship to the people that have showed

57:11up to receive his presence.

57:13>> Are what are they serving?

57:16>> Are they serving persona?

57:18>> Are they serving performance? Great.

57:21>> If you're really good, I'll pay a little

57:22bit of money,

57:24>> but it's false advertising. If you call

57:26it worship,

57:29>> and we've gone for too long and too many

57:31years, and I'm trying not to. It's just

57:33what's in my heart right now because of

57:34where we were. Uh, who's this iPad that

57:37I took? Well, good. Praise the Lord.

57:45Did that help any of the pastors?

57:48>> Did I break it?

57:51>> Let's see if it turns on. Praise the

57:54Lord. Praise the Lord. Lord, heal the

57:57iPad in Jesus name if need be.

58:04There's nothing like the presence of the

58:06Lord.

58:07>> Which is why sometimes I'll just stop

58:09and I'll listen to you.

58:12>> I'll listen to what's going on out here.

58:16Is there heart in it? Have we become

58:18one?

58:20>> The highest place.

58:22>> The highest place. Amen. So Psalm 35:27,

58:26since we're going to receive an

58:27offering, says, "Let them shout for joy.

58:30Yes,

58:33[cheering]

58:36>> that's the beginning of the verse and

58:37we've done a lot of that in this

58:38meeting. Let them shout for joy and be

58:41glad

58:43>> that favor my righteous cause. Let them

58:46say continually, let the Lord be

58:48magnified all up for it.

58:51>> What's one of the reasons why we magnify

58:53him? Of course, all the blessings and

58:55the benefits of salvation. Let the Lord

58:57be magnified which hath pleasure in the

59:01prosperity of his servants. Third John

59:042. Beloved, I wish pray desire above all

59:06things that you you the person in your

59:08clothes in your chair

59:10>> that thou mayest prosper and be in

59:13health. You don't have to pick and

59:14choose.

59:17>> You can be healthy and wealthy.

59:21>> You can be rich and strong. Yes,

59:24>> you can have a body that is whole and a

59:26bank account that's full.

59:29>> Might as well take both.

59:30>> Superersize the whole deal.

59:33>> He takes pleasure in the prosperity of

59:35his servants. He wishes. He He wants it

59:38more for you than you want it for

59:40yourself.

59:41>> That thou mayest prosper according to

59:43your thinking. Deuteronomy 8:18, "Thou

59:46shalt remember." Don't forget this,

59:47guys.

59:50>> You can let things slip. Yes,

59:53>> you didn't even mean to

59:55>> and we let it slip.

59:57>> I'm supposed to be rich.

1:00:02>> I'm supposed to be blessed.

1:00:04>> It's a violation of my covenant if I'm

1:00:06not blessed.

1:00:09>> For I know the plans I have for you.

1:00:12Plans to prosper you,

1:00:14>> to bring you to the things I

1:00:16pre-arranged for you. So remember the

1:00:19covenant that we have with him. The

1:00:21covenant of the blessing. The co

1:00:23everything that you set your hand to

1:00:27should increase and prosper.

1:00:30But there's a way that you can

1:00:32superersize it and you can multiply it.

1:00:35Stand up, pastor. I heaven does funny

1:00:38math.

1:00:40You know, usually just one, what does

1:00:43the Bible say? One puts a thousand to

1:00:44flight, two puts 10,000.

1:00:46What would happen? So basically one

1:00:49joining with another one becomes 10

1:00:52times greater

1:00:52>> That's right.

1:00:54>> than you actually are by yourself. What

1:00:56What if three of us get together?

1:00:58>> Come on.

1:00:59>> What if four of us get together?

1:01:02>> Do the math. And I failed it. [laughter]

1:01:05>> I just know that it's not one and one

1:01:09equals two. And then we add another one

1:01:10then that's three. And then we go with

1:01:12four and this. Heaven doesn't work that

1:01:14way.

1:01:15He begins to multiply at numbers that

1:01:19you they don't even make sense to you.

1:01:23>> So if I join with you and you join with

1:01:26me and both of us join with her,

1:01:29>> yes,

1:01:30>> we're going all over the world.

1:01:35>> You can Thank you. You can go all over

1:01:38the world without leaving your front

1:01:40porch

1:01:41>> or your living room.

1:01:42>> Amen.

1:01:44>> By two ways. You can pray and you can

1:01:46sew.

1:01:47>> Not going to preach the message, but if

1:01:48you sew, it's as if you went.

1:01:51>> Amen.

1:02:18know, uh, we love coming here, by the

1:02:20way.

1:02:31Thank you for spending the money to

1:02:33bring me and Jacob and Reeba and all. I

1:02:37don't know how many people it takes to

1:02:38put on a meeting like this. I'm sure

1:02:41it's dozens if not hundreds. But uh

1:02:45>> you of course would have it just right

1:02:46to how many people?

1:02:48>> 99.

1:02:50>> 99 people.

1:02:52>> So I'm glad I'm one of the 99

1:02:55>> all week long. All week long if every

1:02:58position count one day is one position,

1:03:00next day is another position. 951

1:03:03serving positions.

1:03:05>> Wait a minute. Say that again.

1:03:09serving positions.

1:03:12>> If you serve today, that's one position.

1:03:13If you serve same serve the same

1:03:15position tomorrow, that's another

1:03:16position. 951.

1:03:21So

1:03:23the two of them as as talented, called,

1:03:25gifted, all the offices, the anointings

1:03:27they carry, what they stand in, this

1:03:30place would not be here if it were just

1:03:32up the two of them.

1:03:35>> Call of God is there, the anointing of

1:03:37God is there, the word is there, all of

1:03:39that. But it takes more than these two

1:03:42>> to do what we're called to do. Does that

1:03:45make sense? The same would be true.

1:03:47Where I was going with that is we feel

1:03:48like family when we come here. But the

1:03:52other side of that is sometimes with

1:03:53family there becomes familiarity and you

1:03:56forget

1:03:57the scope of what's happening here. We

1:04:01enjoy it. We have fun. We scream, run,

1:04:04dance, throw things, sing, shout, pray,

1:04:08prophesy, lay down, you know, whatever.

1:04:10Just you. We're obviously family because

1:04:13we're very free in this atmosphere. And

1:04:15even with that, I wanted you to see

1:04:18something of what's really happening in

1:04:20service. We're all getting blessed. But

1:04:23I want you to see what's happening

1:04:24around the world. How many watch Jesus

1:04:26the healer

1:04:28>> with Pastor Nancy? It this should be if

1:04:30you how do you watch it? YouTube. What

1:04:32do you primarily YouTube?

1:04:35All I have to do is push YouTube

1:04:37>> and it's the first first thing come

1:04:39right up.

1:04:40>> So you do what you want to do. But this

1:04:42is the way. First thing in the morning,

1:04:44I pick up my phone, go to YouTube, boom,

1:04:47I listen to that uh today, the message

1:04:50Jesus the healer, today's broadcast. And

1:04:53of course, now we've been on In Christ

1:04:56for quite a while,

1:04:58>> over a year. I was trying to get to that

1:05:01song when I was doing Holy, Holy, Holy.

1:05:04I was going to go to that song that you

1:05:05wrote the lyric to

1:05:08>> for in Christ.

1:05:10>> Yeah, we may do that in a minute.

1:05:13Praise. They do.

1:05:16>> Show me this. I want you guys to see

1:05:17something here. Jesus the healer.

1:05:21>> Pastor, is this present or is this does

1:05:23this is a little bit old?

1:05:25>> This is current.

1:05:26>> Is this current? Guys, look at this with

1:05:28me. Now, where am I going with this?

1:05:30This is what we're doing together.

1:05:34>> This is what you're doing financially.

1:05:38>> You being here,

1:05:39>> you praying for Pastor Nancy. you

1:05:42partnering with Pastor Nancy. And look

1:05:44at me. Don't look at the figures. Don't

1:05:46look at the figures.

1:05:48Take them back down.

1:05:51Look at me just for one second.

1:05:54I have been blessed to be with Kenneth

1:06:44ministry, hundreds of millions. Now,

1:06:45that that we're talking about, that was

1:06:47done by everybody partnering together.

1:06:49Please look at me. Don't make the

1:06:51mistake of thinking, "What will my $25 a

1:06:54month do?" Here's your answer. More than

1:06:57you ever know. That's right.

1:07:00>> Cuz it's not just your 25. That 25 is

1:07:03joined together with everybody sewing

1:07:06together almost like an investment

1:07:08account that goes all over the world and

1:07:10reaches the globe.

1:07:15>> So really, I'm talking about this

1:07:16offering and at the same time, well,

1:07:19let's just find out how many are

1:13:22Christ. She is the real deal. Nothing

1:13:25you see is fake. It is the real thing.

1:13:30her heart and the genuiness of her life

1:13:35Father, we're so grateful tonight for

1:13:37the honor and the privilege of uh being

1:13:40a part of of what you're doing in the

1:13:42earth of a ministry that is really,

1:13:45Father, becoming on the forefront of a a

1:13:48voice. Father, uh having a message that

1:13:51is going to many hungry people all over

1:13:54the world, not just here in the United

1:13:55States, but in many countries. Father,

1:13:58Father, you know, I've traveled to other

1:14:00countries and they'll come up and

1:14:01they'll they'll acknowledge, they watch.

1:14:03I remember, Father God, in the time I

1:14:05was in the slums of Legos, Nigeria, and

1:14:08somebody came up to me and said, "I

1:14:10watch Pastor Nancy Defrain and uh Jesus

1:14:13the Healer every day." Father, this

1:14:15message is going out, and we're grateful

1:14:17to be a part of it. We sew this seed

1:14:20tonight with with faith in our hearts,

1:14:22with joy in our hearts for [music] what

1:14:25is getting the message that is blessing

1:28:01have a a few statements and we'll see

1:28:04how they move

1:28:08us into something more.

1:28:12If you look [music] at turn with me if

1:28:13you would to Romans chapter 4 and verse

1:28:1617.

1:28:19I hope you're acquainted in some measure

1:28:22with this passage

1:28:25because it's a um a picture of what the

1:28:29success of faith looks like

1:28:34in Romans 4:17.

1:28:41It's written regarding Abraham. As it is

1:28:44written,

1:28:45I have made thee,

1:28:49a father of many nations,

1:28:52before him whom he believed, even God,

1:28:56who quickenth the dead,

1:28:59and calleth those things which be not as

1:29:01though they were,

1:29:03who against hope believed in hope,

1:29:08that he might become the father of many

1:29:10nations. Now verse 17 says, "As it is

1:29:14written, I have made thee

1:29:16>> the father of many nations."

1:29:18But in verse 18, that he might become

1:29:22>> Yeah.

1:29:23>> Amen.

1:29:24>> the father of many nations.

1:29:26>> God's made us something. It's our job to

1:29:29become that

1:29:30>> which we've been made.

1:29:33>> Yeah.

1:29:34>> Many of us have been made. Uh

1:29:37all of us, God has a plan in which he's

1:29:40made, but it's up to us to walk that

1:29:43out,

1:29:44>> to become what we were made to be.

1:29:47>> Amen.

1:29:48>> Yeah.

1:29:49>> Because there would be nothing more

1:29:51dissatisfying than knowing you're not

1:29:53living what you were made to be. All

1:29:55right.

1:29:57>> A lot of unhappy homes

1:30:00>> because the people in the homes don't

1:30:03know what they're made to be.

1:30:05>> Amen.

1:30:06>> But they know they're not living what

1:30:08they're made to be.

1:30:09>> Amen.

1:30:10>> Because the devil will keep lives

1:30:12clouded enough.

1:30:13>> Yeah.

1:30:14>> And minds darkened enough so they don't

1:30:17know what they're made to be, but he'll

1:30:19leave them just with enough knowledge to

1:30:23know they're not that. That's right.

1:30:25Right. Right.

1:30:27>> And it ruins homes and it ruins

1:30:29marriages and because people are

1:30:32dissatisfied, unhappy, unfulfilled and

1:30:35they're looking for something to pin it

1:30:37on.

1:30:37>> All right.

1:30:38>> And they end up pinning it on the wrong

1:30:40thing.

1:30:41>> So good.

1:30:42>> And they break what they pin it on.

1:30:46>> And so

1:30:48God said, "I have made you something."

1:30:52Well, I'm so grateful that God has had

1:30:55me teaching on in Christ because that's

1:30:57the beginning place.

1:30:59>> Amen.

1:30:59>> To go to find out what you have been

1:31:02made.

1:31:03>> You've been made in Christ.

1:31:05>> That's the pinnacle.

1:31:06>> And now that you're in Christ, find out

1:31:08what you can do from that place.

1:31:12>> Find out what he will do through you.

1:31:15>> The skill of it all is not doing it. The

1:31:18skill of it all is yielding to the one

1:31:20who does it. Amen.

1:31:24>> And brother, you think, "Oh, I I can do

1:31:26that." Can you?

1:31:30>> Because sometimes we think we're

1:31:32yielded.

1:31:34>> Come on.

1:31:35>> Yeah. That's good.

1:31:36>> And um

1:31:40Smith Wigglesworth said this, "God has

1:31:42broken me time and time and time again."

1:31:45What's he talking about? He let him see

1:31:48further yieldedness. what that looks

1:31:50like, what that sounds like, where that

1:31:54goes, how that responds.

1:31:57Because some kids think they're obedient

1:32:02>> in their term.

1:32:04>> When you say, "Clean the room."

1:32:06>> Oh my.

1:32:06>> And they walk out and you say, "Did you

1:32:09get your room clean?" Oh yeah, I cleaned

1:32:10it. And you walk in and junk under the

1:32:12bed is not the clean.

1:32:13>> Just shoving it from one location to

1:32:16another is not my definition of clean.

1:32:18But that is our definition.

1:32:23>> That's good.

1:32:24>> Many times of what it means to obey

1:32:29>> or submit

1:32:30>> or consecrate,

1:32:32>> right?

1:32:32>> We just move stuff around, but it's

1:32:34still there.

1:32:39>> Right. But in our in our where the place

1:32:43we were at,

1:32:44>> Yeah.

1:32:44>> we were obedient.

1:32:46>> We were faithful. Yes.

1:32:48>> Until God looks un picks up

1:32:52>> the bed spread and go, "What's that?"

1:32:54Oh, what you mean that?

1:32:56>> That's her junk.

1:32:58>> That's his junk. No.

1:33:04>> When Abraham, let's say this, when Abram

1:33:07was 75,

1:33:09>> God told him

1:33:12about he'd become the father of many

1:33:15nations.

1:33:16>> Yeah.

1:33:17It was a 25- year journey.

1:33:19>> Did he know it would take 25 years?

1:33:23>> Wouldn't take God 25 years. It would

1:33:25take the man 25 years to yield and

1:33:28cooperate.

1:33:31>> So good.

1:33:31>> Took him 25 years to learn that.

1:33:35>> Yes.

1:33:36>> Yeah.

1:33:38And uh when we read about Abraham here

1:33:42in this passage,

1:33:45verse 18, who against hope believed in

1:33:47hope, that he might become the father of

1:33:50many nations, according to that which

1:33:52was spoken, so shall thy seed be. And

1:33:54being not weak in faith, he considered

1:33:56not his own body. Now dead when he was

1:33:58yet when he was about 100 years old,

1:34:01neither yet the deadness of Sarah's

1:34:02womb, he staggered not at the promise of

1:34:04God through unbelief. He was strong in

1:34:06faith, giving glory to God, and being

1:34:08fully persuaded that what God has

1:34:10promised, he was able also to perform.

1:34:13Boy, that sounds like a faith hero. And

1:34:15it is.

1:34:16>> But what it sounds like is it happened

1:34:19in a moment when it took 25 years.

1:34:21>> 25 years.

1:34:23>> He didn't start out there.

1:34:26>> That's right. He started out

1:34:32>> saying things to God that was contrary

1:34:34to what God said to him.

1:34:38>> He came up with a plan.

1:34:42>> And his plan was, I have a servant here.

1:34:46>> Let him have I'll just take his son,

1:34:50give him my name, and let him be son.

1:34:54And God had to get very

1:34:57biological with him

1:35:00>> and say, "The son I'm talking about will

1:35:03come from your own loins."

1:35:09>> He heard God, saw

1:35:12visions,

1:35:14heard voice, and still

1:35:17in his agreement was faulty.

1:35:22He thought he was agreeing.

1:35:24>> And where he was in his development, he

1:35:26was agreeing.

1:35:28>> But it wasn't enough agreement.

1:35:31>> It's further

1:35:33>> further.

1:35:35>> Further.

1:35:38>> Did he know it would take 25 years? It

1:35:40did not take God 25 years.

1:35:42>> It took 25 years for total alignment

1:35:47>> with what God said.

1:35:49>> Yeah. [snorts]

1:35:50Yeah.

1:35:51>> So, uh, give me give me room tonight

1:35:53because these are just thoughts coming.

1:35:55I don't have a sermon. So, just give me

1:35:57room to find navigate this.

1:36:00>> But he, uh,

1:36:03>> he goes to God.

1:36:04>> Uhhuh.

1:36:05>> After hearing the voice of God,

1:36:07>> seeing visions, having dreams,

1:36:11>> and it says he believed God. He believed

1:36:13him.

1:36:14>> He believed him.

1:36:15>> Yeah. But in believing him, he was still

1:36:18offering God assistance.

1:36:20>> That's right. [laughter]

1:36:22>> Solutions,

1:36:24>> right?

1:36:24>> Help.

1:36:25>> Yes.

1:36:26>> To fulfill the plan. And then he said,

1:36:28"I have a servant.

1:36:30>> I'll take his son and make him my son,

1:36:32and then this can be the fulfillment of

1:36:34what you're talking about." And God

1:36:37said, "No, the one I'm talking about is

1:36:39going to come from your own loins."

1:36:40Yeah.

1:36:42>> And so then he made the statement before

1:36:46offering God that option seeing that I

1:36:49go childless.

1:36:52>> Seeing

1:36:53>> walking by what I see.

1:36:55>> He says I go childless.

1:36:58>> So he's calling himself childless. And

1:37:00God said you're I've already made you

1:37:01the father of many nations. See, he

1:37:04wasn't in agreement, but he thought he

1:37:05was

1:37:09>> because he believed what God said,

1:37:11>> but he hadn't learned what that

1:37:12believing alignment looks like.

1:37:16>> Amen.

1:37:17>> So, what am I saying? Our consecration,

1:37:21our faith, our faithfulness, our

1:37:24obedience to God can get more perfectly

1:37:27aligned

1:37:28>> as we grow and develop.

1:37:32>> Amen. Amen.

1:37:32>> I said it last I think last night

1:37:34calling it the maturity of consecration.

1:37:37>> At one level you look like you're mature

1:37:39and you are at that season

1:37:42>> or you're consecrated. Then you go to

1:37:44another season and God starts dealing

1:37:46with you about other things you thought,

1:37:47well I thought I was dealt with.

1:37:49>> But every season is further dealings.

1:37:52And it's so kind of God to let us go

1:37:55over that in stages so that we're not

1:37:58overwhelmed at being jerked from one

1:38:01>> place of non-compliance to fulfillment.

1:38:07>> 25 years with visions,

1:38:10>> hearing the voice of God, dramatic

1:38:13dealings from God, and it still took 25

1:38:16years.

1:38:17>> Why is this? He had no example.

1:38:22He had no example.

1:38:24>> So it took him longer.

1:38:35we still have humanity to deal with like

1:38:37Abraham had to deal with.

1:38:46deathbed after 16 months.

1:38:48>> Yes. Didn't take God 16 months to heal

1:38:50him. It took God 16 months to get him to

1:38:52come to the statement. I believe I

1:38:56>> to get to that statement.

1:38:58>> Took 16 months.

1:39:02>> So, we see this that this is why we have

1:39:06to continue day by day because day by

1:39:08day, God's working on what's in our way,

1:39:12>> what's slowing us down, what's tripping

1:39:14us up. He's working with us day by day.

1:39:18>> Allow yourself to be worked on and be

1:39:21built.

1:39:22>> And as Pastor Ike was saying this

1:39:24morning, your spiritual life developing,

1:39:26right? So you don't live like a child

1:39:28that owning everything but living like

1:39:30you own nothing.

1:39:33>> Um but it's a process

1:39:37and if you don't keep pushing to change,

1:39:40you will get stuck.

1:39:43And many live stuck. They live rudded.

1:39:47They live within that place of comfort

1:39:49and familiarity.

1:39:53see some progress and think, "I've

1:39:55arrived."

1:40:00>> And how what determines whether we go

1:40:02there? Whether or not we have faith

1:40:04enough to make the changes are called

1:40:07>> It takes faith to change.

1:40:09>> And that's why some stay ruted. They

1:40:12won't use their faith to change.

1:40:24when I was in my early 30s, I started

1:40:26pastoring at 30

1:40:29and um

1:40:31I was traveling with my husband.

1:40:34I was we were raising our two sons. I

1:40:36was administrating the offices and I was

1:40:38pastoring.

1:40:41>> Yes.

1:40:42>> And I had a dream in the course of that,

1:40:46in the midst of doing all that,

1:40:48full-time ministry, loved God,

1:40:51>> wanted to do everything God wanted me to

1:40:53do.

1:40:53>> Yeah.

1:40:54>> Doing everything I knew to do,

1:40:57>> but one night I had a dream. And in the

1:40:59dream, I saw myself in a coffin.

1:41:02>> And he talked to me about it a few days

1:41:04later.

1:41:06And the talk was what you're leaving

1:41:09undone.

1:41:11>> Yeah,

1:41:11>> I was doing everything I knew to do. But

1:41:14he's saying if you don't address this

1:41:16that you're leaving undone, you'll die

1:41:17prematurely.

1:41:20>> What is that? He's helping.

1:41:23>> I thought I was doing all that was

1:41:25required of me or all I could do at that

1:41:29season, but what God saw needed to be

1:41:31done was not enough.

1:41:34or what I thought was more important, he

1:41:37didn't.

1:41:40>> Yeah.

1:41:41>> Right.

1:41:42>> And I just want you to know this.

1:41:44Ministry is not you dealing with your

1:41:47congregation, pastors.

1:41:49>> Yes. Amen.

1:41:50>> The biggest work of ministry is not your

1:41:54pulpit. It's you.

1:41:59>> That's your biggest job.

1:42:00>> Yes.

1:42:01>> That's right.

1:42:04And uh God showed me if you don't

1:42:08address this,

1:42:10you won't live out your life.

1:42:19>> But all along the way, there have been

1:42:21warnings. Yeah.

1:42:23>> Things I've never told anyone

1:42:26>> because you think in that season you're

1:42:29>> stepping into and doing but another

1:42:32season calls for further breaking and

1:42:34further bending.

1:42:42>> Because you don't bend till something's

1:42:44broken.

1:42:45>> That's [clears throat] right.

1:42:46>> Yes.

1:42:46>> And I'm not talking broken by hardship.

1:42:48I'm not talking broken by crisis. I'm

1:42:51saying broken by choice.

1:43:00there were the times I found myself in

1:43:05the furthest places with God was at

1:43:08times of great great opposition.

1:43:14I found myself in further places of the

1:43:16spirit. I found myself

1:43:19pressing into God just to survive the

1:43:22day

1:43:26>> because there was no peace

1:43:28>> unless I got up and got in the spirit

1:43:30before the devil started banging on my

1:43:32head.

1:43:34>> It was an aggressive

1:43:36place I had to take in God. And it was

1:43:38strictly for survival.

1:43:41>> People have no idea when you live with a

1:43:43prophet nor a prophet.

1:43:46>> Right. People had no idea.

1:43:50>> And so in that

1:43:54there came a time when I came to a

1:43:57measure of skill

1:44:00that in that opposition of past seasons

1:44:02I had gained a skill at those

1:44:05strategies.

1:44:06>> Now it was

1:44:08you go to those places without anything

1:44:12threatening you

1:44:14>> and that was harder.

1:44:18That was harder.

1:44:20>> You go. What do you mean that was

1:44:21harder? It's easy to get up and press

1:44:23into God when you got something on your

1:44:25tail.

1:44:26>> It's easy to stretch out a rod over the

1:44:28Red Sea and part it when there's an

1:44:29enemy army going to eat your back eat

1:44:32your backside if you don't get somewhere

1:44:34now. But when there's no press,

1:44:37>> when there's no threat,

1:44:40>> it's harder to press

1:44:42>> because you've got to deal with your

1:44:43flesh and your mind now to go to those

1:44:46places.

1:44:51>> And that's the danger

1:44:53>> of having skill with the enemy, but not

1:44:56having skill against your flesh and

1:44:58mind.

1:45:02>> Does that make sense? I don't know if

1:45:03I'm saying this right

1:45:05>> cuz I've never said these things before.

1:45:08I'm trying to articulate it

1:45:10>> the way it's coming.

1:45:12>> But that's my big challenge now.

1:45:17>> Bills are paid.

1:45:19>> Debts paid off.

1:45:22>> Have skill with how to answer this and

1:45:25how to answer that of opposition.

1:45:33is your biggest opposition, but it's not

1:45:36troubling. Comfort's not troubling.

1:45:41>> But you still have to push harder now.

1:45:50>> And if you ever stop pressing, you stop

1:45:52advancing.

1:45:54>> And then you get off course. Then you

1:45:56get out of the will of God. And then the

1:45:58devil's open. your the doors open to the

1:46:00devil for one reason. You were too

1:46:02comfortable too long.

1:46:05>> Yes, ma'am.

1:46:06>> And God said to me, I've never said this

1:46:09publicly. God said, "You've got two

1:46:11years to get into it." I'm in the last

1:46:13three months of that.

1:46:16So, that's the big thing oppressing

1:46:20because you think,

1:46:23well, I'm advancing. Yes. But are the

1:46:26advancements meeting his criteria?

1:46:30>> Or are they just meeting human?

1:46:33>> Uhhuh.

1:46:34>> criteria.

1:46:37>> You know, I hear I hear.

1:46:41Uh so Abraham

1:46:44he um

1:46:47he heard God, had visions, had

1:46:51visitations from God and thought he was

1:46:54doing very well because he came up with

1:46:56a solution.

1:46:58>> And it was take his solution would would

1:47:02have taken him completely off of what

1:47:04God made him to be.

1:47:06>> Amen.

1:47:07>> But he thought he was right on course.

1:47:09>> Uhhuh.

1:47:10He thought he was making progress.

1:47:13>> There a lot of us think we're really

1:47:15making progress when we're just doing

1:47:17what we figured out.

1:47:24>> And then things start happening and

1:47:27start derailing and we don't know why

1:47:28because we think we're in faith when

1:47:30we're just using our faith to fulfill

1:47:32what we thought. Wow.

1:48:24pressed in certain areas and not in all

1:48:28highly skillful

1:48:30>> in some arenas, but left some arenas

1:48:33unadressed and still went to heaven too

1:49:14servants. She has the same thing. Which

1:49:16goes to show you, humans can't think up

1:49:18too much on their own. They come up with

1:49:20the exact same thing over and over and

1:49:22over and over and think we're original.

1:49:27>> That when God corrected Abram,

1:49:32that should have been enough to say,

1:49:34"No, Sarah, I came up with a plan and it

1:49:37wasn't God. You're coming up with a

1:49:39plan."

1:49:40>> But the thing is,

1:49:42>> her plan involved his loins.

1:49:44>> Uhhuh.

1:49:48>> So true.

1:49:49his plane didn't.

1:49:53>> Understand that?

1:49:57>> So, it looked like this could be it.

1:50:03>> But their plan delayed God's plan.

1:50:11he has Ishmael is born.

1:50:14And after Ishmael is born, God doesn't

1:50:17say another word to Abraham for 13

1:50:19years.

1:50:22>> Was he mad? No. He's letting him live

1:51:12for 13 years, God doesn't say another

1:51:14word to Abram.

1:51:19>> After 13 years,

1:51:22God speaks again.

1:51:26It's been 24 years since he first heard.

1:51:31>> 24 years. So this is why continuing

1:51:35matters. If you're a quitter, you cannot

1:51:37you you'll never get to what he made you

1:51:39to be.

1:51:41>> If you're a quitter,

1:51:44>> you're going to have to pass the plan to

1:51:45someone else

1:51:48>> because

1:51:49you have to come in line with the plan.

1:51:51The plan's not going to change to fit

1:51:53you. We talked about it Monday night. No

1:51:55garment I've ever I've ever worn changed

1:51:58to fit where where my size was that day.

1:52:05We get a little bit of spandex going on

1:52:07and we think we're doing good and it's

1:52:18>> Even so, the plan is not going to change

1:52:27>> And it took Abraham 25 years to change.

1:52:34You say should it take us should we be

1:52:37quicker? Well,

1:52:39in a sense we should be quicker because

1:52:41we have greater examples than he had.

1:52:44>> But in the other sense, we still got

1:52:46flesh like he did.

1:52:47>> That's right.

1:52:48>> And you don't get to you don't do get to

1:52:50do shortcuts with flesh. You got to

1:52:53master flesh.

1:52:59So at 24 years

1:53:04of no fulfillment of what God had made

1:53:06him to be.

1:53:09So it goes to show you visions don't

1:53:12give you faith.

1:53:22>> God saw. And it says Abraham believed.

1:53:25Abram believed God early in his in the

1:53:30first dealings that God did with him. He

1:53:33believed

1:53:34>> so you can believe and never arrive.

1:53:48and that Paul said he said uh praying

1:53:52that my might come to you and perfect

1:53:55what is lacking in your faith. Faith you

1:53:59can have faith and it be lacking

1:54:03>> You ever eaten a dish that somebody

1:54:04cooked and it was lacking something?

1:54:07>> Might have been edible

1:54:10but you go that doesn't have enough

1:54:11icing on it. That's what I'm thinking.

1:54:26produced,

1:54:27>> but it was lacking.

1:54:32lacking in his faith.

1:54:37>> God had to trick him

1:54:39>> into being effective with his faith.

1:54:52>> from Abram to Abraham which meant father

1:55:10nations. when he hears his name, he's

1:55:18>> to bring his saying up to his believing.

1:55:27your name lives with you daily.

1:55:35only dealt with periodically. That's

1:55:44you're saying your name, you're hearing

1:55:46your name, you're writing your name,

1:55:48you're doing something regarding your

1:55:50name.

1:55:57him multiple times today.

1:56:01and every day because God loads me daily

1:56:46has to take long. So it takes long for

1:56:49>> because they treat it as it having to

1:56:51take long. But once revelation comes

1:57:02child is born. He's born in the 25th

1:57:04year.

1:57:06>> But he didn't change his name back. God

1:57:08didn't change his name back

1:57:25call his name after Isaac is born

1:57:41>> Now, he's calling himself that into

1:57:44Isaac's life and calling himself that

1:57:46into Jacob's life. And they're still

1:57:48going today because Abraham called it
