15:29You know, it's a bad thing when you have
15:32a leading to do something with money and
15:37you left your money at the hotel.
15:40Come here, young man in the Yeah, you
15:43come here. I'm going to say it publicly.
15:47Come here. Give me that bloop one more
15:50time and then I'll tell you what I'm
15:51going to do.
15:52>> Do what you were doing right there.
15:56We declare there is joy in the Holy
15:59Ghost. [music] We declare joy in the
16:02Holy Ghost. We declare. We declare joy
16:04[music] in the Holy Ghost. We declare

16:11the Holy [music] Ghost. Came to get joy
16:14in the Holy Ghost. I came to get
16:17[singing] joy in the Holy [music] Ghost.
16:19I know there's joy in the Holy [singing]
16:22Ghost. I'm going [music] to dance in the
16:24Holy Ghost. I'm going to dance in the
16:28Holy Ghost.
16:29>> I'm going to dance in the Holy Ghost.
16:32I'm going to dance [music] in the Holy
16:34Ghost. I'm going to dance in the Holy
16:38Ghost.
16:40[cheering]
16:41Holy Ghost [music]
16:43in the Holy Ghost. I'm going to dance
16:46[music] in the Holy Ghost. Bless the
16:48Lord. Bless the Lord. Bless the Lord.

16:56Bless the Lord. Bless the Lord. Bless
16:59the [music] Lord.
17:02Bless the Lord. Bless the Lord. Bless
17:06the Lord. [singing]
17:09Bless the Lord. Bless [music] the Lord.
17:12Bless the [singing] Lord.
17:18>> [music]
17:21>> I'll pay you back.
17:23It's my sister. [music]
17:24Come here.
17:26This is a demonstration. I'm doing this
17:28by the Holy Ghost.
17:31>> Sometimes
17:33if you need a let's just say something
17:36to manifest where prosperity
17:40>> is concerned,
17:42>> you can praise your way there.
17:46There is a connection between praise and
17:50prosperity. CUZ PRAISE DOESN'T WAIT TILL
17:53IT sees anything. It knows the money
17:56must come. The money must come. The
17:59money
18:01must come. [music]
18:06Yeah. And I knew I wasn't the only
18:08[music] one. I'm not the only one. You
18:11just keep dancing. No, you don't have to
18:13dance.
18:17You're way too young to know this.
18:19There's a minister, he's in heaven. His
18:21name was Papa Goodwin. They pastored a
18:22supernatural church. Brother Hagen said,
18:24"One of the greatest churches, I
18:25believe, as far as the flow of the Holy
18:27Ghost is concerned." What's that?
18:31Closest to the New Testament pattern of
18:34the church that he has seen. Now, that's
18:36brother Hagen that said that. I
18:38understand he'd go out of his way
18:39several hours just to go and meet with
18:41Mama and Papa Goodwin. But where that
18:43pastor is concerned supernaturally
18:45pastoring, he said, "Every time."
18:46Everybody say, "Every time."
18:48>> Every time.
18:49>> Anytime.
18:50>> Anytime.
18:51>> And every time.
18:53>> And every time.
18:54>> It looked like the money wasn't going to
18:55come in or the need wasn't going to be
18:57met. He said, "I'd all by myself go in
19:00the sanctuary if I had to go in a Sunday
19:02school room at the back end of the
19:03church and I would just start dancing."
19:06I didn't feel like dancing. [music] I
19:08didn't have any immediate manifestation
19:10that I just DECIDED BY FAITH. I'm going
19:13to give action to my faith. I'm not
19:15giving the money a choice of whether it
19:18wants to come or not. Money follows a
19:21person [music] of praise. You'll always
19:24find praise and prosperity linked
19:26together. Psalm [music] 67:3 says, "Let
19:30the people praise God. Let all the
19:33people praise God." And that's the
19:34problem with SOME OF THE CHURCHES. THEY
19:36don't let the people praise God. You're
19:39so stuffy, starchy, and stuck and
19:43satisfied. But verse five, Psalm 67
19:45says, "Let the people." I'm not going to
19:47stop you from praising tonight. Why? You
19:50need some money, baby. [laughter]
19:53I'M NOT JUST TRYING TO GET YOU TO DROP A
19:55FEW POUNDS.
19:57[laughter]
19:58Lose weight now. Ask me how. Go to a
20:00Holy Ghost church and act right. You'll
20:03drop at least half a pound.
20:05>> [laughter]
20:06>> Let the people praise thee, oh God. Let
20:08all the people praise thee. Verse six,
20:10then shall the earth yield her increase,
20:14and God, even our God, will bless us
20:17immediately following praise is
20:19prosperity. And if you don't believe
20:20that, look at David in the Bible.
20:23So brother,
20:33>> he going to dance extra good
20:36the rest of the service. I just he's
20:40standing back there just doing a little
20:41bit of that. And the Lord said, "Bless
20:44him. I'm going to prosper him."
20:46>> He prospers praising people.
20:48>> Pastor, come on. We're done. I don't
20:51mean give the benediction. I just mean
20:52for this part.
20:54>> You know how hard it is to take a
20:56service from David Ellis. [laughter]
20:59>> Hallelujah.
21:02>> I'm standing on the front row and a
21:04James 1 came to me and it's for somebody
21:06in here. I'm not going to just get into
21:08it all, but basically it says, "Rejoice.
21:11>> Count it all joy. [cheering]
21:14>> And then it goes into patience, which
21:17sounds like, well, patience that just
21:19means endure. That's a struggle. But but
21:21but he's talking about enduring in
21:25rejoicing.
21:27>> And then he says, "And let patience have
21:29his perfect work." And the and the Greek
21:31says, "Be fully expressed."
21:33>> In other words, sometimes it's not
21:35enough to say, "Father, I confess. I
21:37believe. I receive." Sometimes you got
21:39to have some other expressions.
21:43Come on somebody,
21:46[music]
21:48>> fully expressed. [music]
21:55And it's the full expression of faith
21:58that gets [music] the full expression OF
22:00THE WILL OF GOD,
22:03of your miracle. Amen.
22:07Some people are just a little short of
22:08fully expressing the their faith.
22:11Hallelujah. Well, you may be seated if
22:14you can. I don't know if you can or not.
22:16Good to see you everybody. Welcome to
22:18camp meeting. You didn't come to a
22:20teaching seminar. He said it and you you
22:22came to camp meeting. Praise the Lord.
22:25>> Hallelujah.
22:25>> And camp meeting has a flow to it. We're
22:27in that flow. Praise God. Welcome
22:29everybody. Glad to have everybody by by
22:31live stream tonight. Glad you're here.
22:33Welcome. Join us. And sometimes, you
22:35know, whatever's happening here, you

22:38rug in the living room whenever you're
22:40watching at home sometimes. But uh we we
22:42invite you to join us. Um I'm going to
22:45go ahead and just keep on rolling here
22:47and we're going to have the
22:47announcements. How many of you know that
22:49we got to have a necessary evil here? So
22:51let's just go ahead and have the
22:52announce. Come on up. Brother Carlos,
22:54glad to glad to see you everybody
22:56tonight.
22:56>> Glory.
22:58>> Sunday morning, remember Pastor Jay got
23:01up and ministered and he said three
23:03things are going to happen during camp
23:05meeting. Acceleration
23:07advancements
23:09>> and enlargements.
23:11>> If you just check your spirit, if you've
23:14been here in these meetings, it is
23:16expanding.
23:17>> There's more yet to come. We're opening
23:19up our hearts. As pastor said, welcome
23:23live streamers. Uh thank you. We have a
23:26sister church in Lee Summit. So, thank
23:28you the people drove down from there and
23:31watching live stream. Thank you. Jump
23:33in, use your faith. Uh, do want to
23:36remind you to silence your cell phone or
23:38your electronic devices. Tomorrow, we
23:41have one more day tomorrow, 10:00 a.m.
23:43in the morning. That's then 7 uh 7:00
23:46p.m. in the evening. The doors open 45
23:49minutes before each service. We do have
23:52child care available in the evening
23:54services only. This is for children ages
23:561 through three. If you have children
23:58ages four and above, bring them into the
24:00service. get them used to the corporate
24:02anointing. And live streamers, uh, like
24:06and comment, let us know you're there.
24:08Uh, we do have some information coming
24:11up on the live stream. How many people
24:12are watching, where they're watching? I
24:14believe Pastor Jay's going to uh mention
24:16that. Also, if you speak Spanish, we
24:20have translation available for you in
24:22the service. You can go to the
24:24registration table to get that. or if
24:26you do have friends online, we do have a
24:28YouTube channel for Spanish uh speaking
24:31people. Um that is YouTube at Everly
24:33Ministry Espanol. So take advantage of
24:37that. Um if somehow someway you got past
24:41our covert NSA level three
24:47people and you are a full-time minister
24:50and you got past their registration desk
24:52without signing in, please go there. We
24:55have a packet for you. We have
24:56information for you. And we'd like to
24:59have your email address to keep you
25:00aware of upcoming events. Also, uh then
25:04we want to hear testimonies. If you've
25:07been healed, things are different in
25:09your body, any way or any shape, any
25:12form. Go to our website, everly
25:14ministry.org. Use the drop down, contact
25:17us. We love testimonies. We want to hear
25:20them. And then [music]
25:22uh these uh all the meetings are
25:24archived. We have uh different ways to
25:28uh watch them. There's a number of ways
25:30actually. Uh you can go to everly
25:32ministry.org. You can go to our gym
25:34Facebook page, our YouTube channel, and
25:36also the Jim Espananiel YouTube channel.
25:39We do have a USB audio album available
25:43for all the services. And that's $45.
25:46And if you do order that, you can use
25:48the code uh scan that and that'll take
25:50you to the prompt on how to order that.
25:53That will be available after the
25:54services are over or uh over. Also, our
25:58prayer school, also our school of
26:01worship is also available uh through the
26:04USB. If you go to the hospitality forer,
26:07you can scan that for either of them.
26:10The uh prayer school is $20 and the
26:12worship school is $10. And once again,
26:15they'll be shipped after the services
26:18are over. Don't forget, Pastor Nancy has
26:21a big book table. It's in that corner of
26:24the building. So, take advantage of
26:25that. There's sweatshirts, uh,
26:28sweatpants,
26:29marvelous uh, teachings there also
26:32available. Last announcement, last but
26:35not least, but very important. Tomorrow,
26:38we're going to celebrate with Pastor
26:40Nancy with her birthday,
26:42>> and we're getting in on it. There's a
26:45couple ways to get involved. If you use
26:47the offering envelope on the other line,
26:49just write in Pastor NY's birthday. Do
26:52make the checks payable. If you're
26:53giving that way to Spirit of Faith
26:55Family Church and also if you go online,
26:59you there's a drop down called Pastor
27:01NY's birthday.
27:03Big fun coming. Big fun coming tomorrow.
27:06That's my last announcement, pastor.
27:10>> Praise God. Well, uh, this is normal
27:13Wednesday night church service. So,
27:14we're going to receive the Spirit of
27:16Faith Family Church normal tithes and
27:18offerings offering right now. This is
27:20not the offering for our guest speaker.
27:22This is for Pastor Nancy. This is the
27:24tithes and offerings for the Spirit of
27:25Faith Family Church. And there's many of
27:27you here and you want to bring your
27:28tithes and offerings. One thing I
27:30appreciate um, and yes, you can raise
27:32your hand there if you if you need the
27:34ushers to get you an envelope. One thing
27:35I appreciate about Defrain Ministries is
27:37that they're big on the local church and
27:40they always say the local church go gets
27:43first. It's the it's the main feeder for
27:45the for the uh for the believer, right?
27:48Um and there many times people they just
27:50want to kind of whatever because of our
27:52modern technology. They kind of want to
27:54live watching, you know, YouTube or
27:56social media or preachers online or go
27:58to conferences, come to camp meetings
27:59like this. This is supplements for the
28:02main place you're to have as a local
28:04church to be fed the word of God. God's
28:06plan is that the that the believer have
28:08a company of believers where they call
28:10home.
28:12>> That where you call it your own company.
28:14Amen. And so, we're going to go ahead
28:15and receive the uh normal tithes and
28:18offerings. And of course, if you're a
28:19visitor tonight, you want to get in on
28:20it. The uh camp meeting is put being put
28:22on by the the uh you know, the church.
28:24So, uh if you want to give, that'll just
28:26be a blessing to the church to help with
28:28the expenses. Praise God. Everybody
28:30ready to give tonight that wants to
28:31give? Hallelujah. Praise God. Y'all got
28:35quiet. Well, I mean, you know, Dr.
28:36Defrain said, "If you want a holy hush,
28:38talk on children, money, or something
28:39like that. You get a holy hush." But,
28:42uh, we love to give, right?
28:44>> Praise God. Father, we're grateful for
28:46the local church. Father, whether it's
28:48this local church or we have our own
28:50home church somewhere, we're thankful,
28:52Father, for the office of the pastor,
28:54the ministry of the uh local church
28:57through the pastor. We thank you tonight
28:59for this local church. We thank you for
29:00the privilege we have of uh calling it
29:03our home. And father, we thank you for
29:05meeting every need of this congregation
29:08and we every need of those that bring
29:10their tithes and honor you with the
29:12first. We give you thanks, Father, for
29:14it in Jesus mighty name. [music] Say
29:17amen.
29:18>> Amen.
29:21[music]
29:27>> [music]
29:35[music]
29:38>> Where do I go
29:42when there's nobody [singing] else to

29:50[music]
29:51When nobody wants to listen, who
29:54[singing] do I lean on?
29:58[music] When there's no foundation

31:13>> Where do I hide? Come on now.
31:17>> Till the storms [singing and music] have
31:19all passed over. Who can I run to
31:25[music] when the winds of sorrow
31:27threaten? And is there [singing] a
31:30refuge [music]
31:33in a time of tribulation?
31:37Where my soul [music] needs consolation.
31:40I go to the rock. [singing]
31:44I'm going to [music]

34:10>> [music]
34:22>> Hallelujah. Praise the Lord.
34:25>> God,
34:26>> she did.
34:27>> She did.
34:29>> Praise the Lord.
34:30>> Hallelujah.
34:30>> Is it a blessing to have Miss Reeba in
34:32the house?
34:34>> [cheering]
34:36>> I'm telling you, we're in some pretty
34:38tall cotton, man. [laughter]
34:40You may be seated. Um, it's my
34:43privilege. We, uh, as you know, of
34:44course, as you grow in the ministry and
34:46walk out the plan of God, many times
34:49younger ministers will be drawn to, uh,
34:52you know, let you, they ask you to speak
34:54into your their life. And it's a great
34:57honor for us that that's begun to
34:58happen. We've hit that phase of ministry
35:00that that's begun to happen. uh quite
35:03quite quite rapidly starting to pick up
35:04now. [music] And uh we're going to
35:06ordain one of those ministers tonight.
35:08We're going to take some time and and
35:10lay hands on them and uh they're already
35:12in the ministry as Pastor Kyle Baker
35:14here. Um Pastor Cy Pastor Cy and
35:16Shaylee, why don't you stand? Um
35:18Shaylee, go ahead and stand up. Praise
35:20God. He had he came to me a couple years
35:23ago and said God spoke to him. I don't
35:25know how you got to know us. I guess u
35:27on YouTube or something. Uh but he saw
35:30us. He he saw us at Pastor NY's meetings
35:32and so forth. And he started coming. He
35:34started getting on fire with with the
35:35word that Pastor Nancy preaches and uh
35:38God spoke to him about us being his
35:40spiritual father. How many of you know
35:41that's a word? That's a biblical
35:43principle.
35:44>> You know, somebody is anointed to help
35:46you. Yes.
35:47>> And there's a lot of times you won't go
35:49as far in life without the help and
35:52input of somebody who's already been
35:53there, done that, and uh they've already
35:56pioneered or or made or blazed pa paths
35:59of faith that maybe you're called to. A
36:01lot of times people are drawn to uh
36:04those that have similar giftings and
36:06graces that that they're called to and
36:07so forth. So So it's an honor and I'm
36:10just going to ask both of you. I know
36:11we're just ordaining Pastor Kyle
36:12tonight, but I'm going to ask both of
36:14you to come and stand here and and uh I
36:17just going to exhort you just a little
36:18bit and then I'm going to invite my wife
36:20to come and uh give me a little room.
36:22I'm going to come down there and I'm
36:23going to stand in front of you. I'm
36:25going to invite my wife to come and
36:26pastor Nancy. We're going to lay hands
36:27on uh Pastor Kyle and ordain him. He
36:30just got married, by the way.
36:32>> Yeah. [laughter]
36:35You notice he's smiling a lot bigger
36:37right now.
36:38>> Praise the Lord. But um I just want to
36:41encourage you bit just one little thing,
36:43Pastor Kyle, before we lay hands on you.
36:45Uh and then if Pastor Nancy has
36:47something, my wife has something of
36:48course. But um of course, you know, the
36:50Bible talks about this talks about Paul
36:52laying hands on Timothy and we
36:54understand this. A lot of times there's
36:55impartations that happen and and uh but
36:58I just want to take some time and exhort
36:59you right before we do. Um you know, I I
37:03can speak for myself. I know it's true.
37:05Any of us could say this that we all
37:07have areas of our life where our
37:09personality sort of uh you ever driven a
37:12car that's out of alignment. You know
37:13that the the the uh whatever they it's
37:16out of alignment. It kind of keeps
37:17pulling to one side of the road. All of
37:19our uh lives, you know, whether it's in
37:21our flesh or our unrenewed mind, there
37:23are things that if we don't stay on top
37:25of and get get the word on it, there are
37:27things that'll that'll keep us. it'll
37:30start veering. We'll start veering off
37:32and it and and and usually maybe there's
37:34more than one area, but usually there's
37:36one main area that uh we we just have to
37:39really stay on top of and get the word
37:41on it. Thank God for the word, right?
37:43And I want to exhort you. It does it's
37:45not always it's not always something
37:47that's an enticement to sin. Sometimes
37:49it's just a makeup of our personality.
37:52And I want to exhort you to to uh those
37:55areas of your life, those areas that
37:58would try to, you know, it's not
37:59necessarily wrong. It's just a makeup uh
38:01you know, like being in a hurry, for
38:02example, might be one or just something
38:05like that that that those kind of
38:07things. Let God take the time to deal
38:10with you about those things. You know, I
38:13know as a young man, I I was called to
38:15the ministry at a young age and uh I
38:18was, of course, I was serving the devil,
38:20but then I got in, got baptized in the
38:22Holy Ghost, and went all out for God and
38:25I went full steam and one day the Lord
38:28spoke to me because I was a sprinter in
38:30high school. I could I could I was a
38:32burst of energy out of the blocks. I
38:34could I I never saw anybody in my
38:36peripheral vision out of the blocks, but
38:39uh if anybody beat me, they beat me on
38:40the course. And but that's the way I
38:43approached ministry, just a burst of
38:45energy and and approaching it like a you
38:47know, like I had to get there tomorrow.
38:50And the Lord spoke to me one day and he
38:51said, "This is not He knew my mentality
38:54of being a sprinter." He said, "This is
38:56not a sprint." He said, "This is a
38:58marathon. This is for the rest of your
39:00life. It's a pace. It's a pace." And
39:03sometimes if we're in a hurry to get to
39:06something, uh sometimes we will uh uh
39:11overlook some of the dealings of God
39:14that will tweak our tendencies even in
39:18in our natural makeup. It's not always
39:20sin. Sometimes it's just in our natural
39:21makeup and uh and but because we think,
39:25you know, we're in a hurry because we
39:26got to get to what God's called, you
39:28know, put in our heart and called us to.
39:30But to pass those things up is actually
39:34uh not wasting time. Take the time, let
39:37God take the time to work those things
39:39into you because in years to come, he's
39:42really saving us when he does that from
39:45from big issues coming up in our life in
39:48years to come. Uh Dr. Defrain, excuse
39:51me. No, it was Dr. Summerall made the
39:54statement that what you don't put your
39:55foot to as a young man, it'll rule you
39:58and master, you know, it'll rule you in
40:00later life. So, let God deal with those
40:03things. Amen. Praise the Lord. Pastor,
40:05you want to say anything? I got I got
40:07you. You want to say anything? All
40:09right. Would you stand in the
40:10congregation? Reach out your hands. He
40:13pastors in uh is it actually in
40:14Greenville? In Greenville, Tennessee.
40:17And uh they've been he's been pastoring
40:19there for a few years. Um and uh now
40:22he's asked us to ordain him. Pastor,
40:26praise the Lord. Father, we thank you
40:28tonight for the call on Pastor Kyle. We
40:31[clears throat] thank you for the
40:32privilege of laying our hands on him and
40:34and separating him under this ministry.
40:37Thank you, Father, for his honor for us.
40:39Thank you, Father, for his honor for
40:41this company and Pastor Nancy. And thank
40:43you, Father, that he has uh received
40:46much already because of that honor and
40:49because of that willingness to let
40:50others speak into his life. As we lay
40:53our hands on him tonight, we thank you
40:55for any impartations, graces, deposits,
40:59any equipment that is needed for him to
41:01run his race. And father, we thank you
41:03for the the the anointing to help on
41:06Shaye in Jesus mighty name. Hallelujah.
41:11>> All right. Praise the Lord.
41:13[clears throat]
41:21>> Praise God. Listen carefully. Within
41:25you, for in you is the pace, the pace of
41:29heaven. Not the pace of your mind, but
41:31the pace of heaven. And heaven's pace
41:34will get you there right on time. So, be
41:36glad. And don't let the uh pressures of
41:40your own uh makeup push you in too much
41:43of a hurry in Jesus name.
41:45>> Potato. No potato. No potato. East paste
41:50vast cased. Sh.
41:53>> Hallelujah. No struggle. No struggle. No
41:56struggle.
41:58Hallelujah.
42:00>> Praise God.
42:04>> Thank you, Jesus. Oh yeah. Thank you.
42:06Uh, pastor, can we get a picture with
42:08with uh you can be seated in the
42:10congregation?
42:12There's the ordination. Praise God. Love
42:14you guys. Where's the camera lady? There
42:17she is.
42:38Hallelujah.
42:40Well, give God praise.
42:44[applause]
43:03That would help. [clears throat]
43:10>> Say something.
43:12>> Praise God. Hallelujah. The Lord is good
43:15and his mercy endures forever.
43:20That handsome young man who was dancing
43:22up here [music]
43:23is our third son, Chibbe.
43:25>> I have no clue. Yeah.
43:28>> But when that's our son.
43:30>> He's a good dancer.
43:31>> He is a good dancer. He gets that from
43:33his daddy.
43:34>> From his daddy.
43:34>> Yes. [laughter]
43:36>> You taught him well.
43:37>> Yes. So when he was dancing, the Lord
43:39put it on my heart to share the
43:41testimony of him. The Lord told us about
43:45all the children before they were born.
43:47But when I was in labor with him, you
43:50know, things weren't progressing like
43:51they should. and it get to a it got to a
43:54place where he was in distress. So, they
43:58had to do an emergency C-section.
44:00And that's that's not what I wanted. But
44:03at that point, we had to do what was
44:05going to be best. So, we went into the
44:08theater. We went into the operating
44:10room. And when they took him out, he
44:15wasn't breathing.
44:17His color was not good at all. My
44:20sister, who's been a nurse for years,
44:22said that it was the worst scores ever.
44:26[laughter]
44:27But his daddy went over and touched his
44:29leg and said, "Chib, [music]
44:32chibi." And he started crying.
44:35He started crying and he [laughter]
44:39he just improved, improved, improved,
44:42improved. But when I think about the
44:45faithfulness of God,
44:48I think about the goodness of God. And
44:52to see him loving the Lord Jesus with
44:55all his heart. And to dance before the
44:58Lord, it doesn't matter who's looking.
45:00It doesn't matter who's watching.
45:03Oh, God is so good.
45:06He is so faithful
45:08and [music] I love him.
45:11Hallelujah.
45:13Thank you father.
45:15You are so good.
45:19I love you [singing] Lord.
45:24For your mercy [singing] never fails me.
45:30All my [singing] days
45:33I've been held in your hands. [singing]
45:39From the moment that I wake up
45:44[music] until [singing] I lay my head,
45:49I will sing
45:52of the goodness
45:55of God. [singing]
45:58Just just you.
46:01>> All my [singing] life you have been
46:04faithful.
46:10All my [singing] life you have been so
46:14so good. [singing]
46:20Every breath that I [singing] am able,
46:27I will sing
46:30of the goodness [singing]
46:33of God.
46:40I know of your [singing] voice.
46:46You have [singing] filled me with your
46:48fire.
46:51[music] In [singing] darkest nights,
46:54you were close like no [music] other.
47:00I've known you as my father.
47:04I know you as my Lord. [singing]
47:09And I have lived
47:12in the [singing] goodness [music]
47:14of God.
47:21All my life [singing and music]
47:22you have been faithful.
47:27Oh [singing] yes you have.
47:29All my life you have been [singing] so
47:34so good.
47:38With every breath that I have made,
47:42[singing]
47:45I will sing
47:48of the [music and singing] goodness
47:50of God.
47:53All my life, [music]
47:56all my [singing] life, you have been
48:00faithful.
48:02Oh yes, [music and singing] you have.
48:05All my life you have been [singing] so
48:10so good.
48:13[music]
48:15Every breath [singing] that I am able,
48:21I will sing
48:24of the goodness [singing]
48:27of God.
48:31>> I love your voice. [singing]
48:36You have filled [singing] me with your
48:38fire.
48:41In darkest [singing]
48:43nights,
48:45you were close like no other.
48:50I've known you as my father.
48:53[singing and music]
48:55I know you as my Lord.
48:59[music] And I [singing] have lived
49:02in the goodness
49:04of God.
49:07Oh,
49:09[music]
49:10all my life [singing]
49:12you have been faithful.
49:16Oh yes [music and singing] you have.
49:19All my life you have been [singing] so
49:23so [music]
49:24good.
49:27With every [singing] breath [music] that
49:29I am able,
49:34I will [music and singing] sing
49:36of the goodness
49:39of God.
49:42[singing]
49:44[music] All my life you have been
49:48faithful.
49:53>> [music]
49:53>> All [singing] my life you have been so
49:57so [music] good. [singing]
50:02With every breath that I am
50:06[singing and music]
50:08I will sing
50:11of the goodness [music and singing]
50:13of God.
50:18Your [music] goodness is running after.
50:21[singing]
50:22It's running after me.
50:26[music]
50:27Your goodness is running after.
50:30[singing]
50:30It's running after me. [music]
50:34With my life [singing] laid down, I
50:37surrender.
50:42[singing]
50:45[music]
50:48is running.
50:50[music and singing]
50:53Your goodness is running out. It's
50:56running [music]
50:58to me.
51:01[singing]
51:01>> Your goodness is running out. It's
51:05running out [music]
51:06to me.
51:08[singing] My life down. I surrender
51:11[music]
51:12now. I give you car.
51:18Your [music] goodness is running
51:20[singing] after. It's running after me.
51:30All my life [singing]
51:32you have been faithful.
51:39All my [singing] life you have been so
51:43so good.
51:46>> [singing]
51:48>> Every breath that I [singing] am made,
51:55I will sing
51:58of the goodness
52:00of God. [singing and music]
52:04I will sing
52:06of the goodness [singing]
52:09of God. [music]
52:13I will [singing] sing
52:16of the goodness [music]
52:21of God. [singing]
52:26Oh,
52:28your goodness, your goodness, Lord.
52:34Oh, [singing] your goodness.
52:41Hallelujah.
52:43>> Hallelujah.
52:46>> Well, we can certainly say all my life.
52:49>> All my life.
52:51>> Even before we knew him,
52:55>> his [music] goodness was bringing us to
52:57him. Amen. Hallelujah. Father, we thank
53:00you.
53:01>> We give you glory. Let's sing that one
53:04more time. All my life. [music]
53:10All [singing] my life you have been
53:13faithful.
53:19All my life [singing]
53:21you have been so so good.
53:28Every [singing]
53:29breath that I am made,
53:35I will sing [singing]
53:38of the goodness [music]
53:40of God.
53:43[singing]
53:46All my [music] life you have been
53:49faithful. [singing]
53:52[music]
53:55All my [singing] life you have been so
54:00so good.
54:04With every [singing]
54:05breath that I am able,
54:11I will sing [singing and music]
54:14of the goodness
54:16of God.
54:20I [music] will sing
54:22of the [singing] goodness
54:25of God.
54:29I will sing [singing]
54:32of the goodness
54:36of [singing]
54:37God.
54:44>> Praise the Lord.
54:47>> Father, we thank you.
54:51We [music] say together, for the Lord is
54:53good.
54:54>> The Lord is good.
54:55>> And your mercy endures forever.
55:00>> How many of you know it's his goodness
55:02and his mercy that we're even here
55:04tonight.
55:05>> Oh yeah. [music]
55:06>> That he's brought us to this season of
55:08our life
55:10>> and takes us into further
55:12>> completion of what we're born for. Amen.
55:15Hallelujah. Turn around to somebody
55:17before your seat and say, "He's always
55:19so good to me. [music]
55:31>> [music]
55:41>> Hallelujah.
55:46I referred to on the first night I
55:48believe of this conference that
55:51when in 2018 God spoke to me before I
55:55went over to St. Petersburg, Russia.
55:57Your pastors were with us on that trip.
55:59And he said, "I'm going to speak to you
56:01while you're over there." Isn't it
56:02interesting? He was speaking to me in
56:04California and told me where he'd speak
56:06to me next.
56:07>> All right. Come on.
56:10>> It's like, uh, well, you're speaking to
56:11me now. Could you just say it now?
56:14[laughter]
56:15>> No. He wants you to be where he told you
56:17to be.
56:18>> And when you're where he told you to be,
56:20you hear things that you're supposed to
56:22hear in that place. So, it does matter
56:24that you be where you're supposed to be.
56:28>> And you say, "Why doesn't why did why
56:31didn't he just tell you right there in
56:33California?" Uh, that's part of your
56:35training. Just be where he said.
56:37>> Right.
56:38>> Right.
56:40>> And uh
56:43so he talked to me for an hour one night
56:46in the hotel in St. Petersburg, Russia,
56:49and told me the price of the double
56:51portion anointing.
56:53talked about what it would demand. When
56:56Elijah Elisha asked of Elijah, I want a
57:00double portion of what's on you.
57:02>> And Elijah said, you've asked a hard
57:05thing. Not hard for God.
57:09But Jesus said to me that night, he said
57:12when he said, "You asked a hard thing."
57:14He said, "That double portion anointing
57:18requires a hardness that you carry
57:21toward how the mind is handled and how
57:23the body is handled."
57:25>> Amen.
57:26>> He said you had to be hard on yourself.
57:30>> Because if you're not, if you're soft on
57:33yourself, you'll leave openings for the
57:35enemy to
57:36>> That's right. have access to you.
57:39>> Amen.
57:40>> And if you're hard on yourself, life
57:42won't be hard on you.
57:46>> Because you've already dealt with you.
57:50>> So either you deal with you or life will
57:52deal with you
57:53>> or the enemy will deal with you.
57:57And uh my husband used to say this,
57:59coming into every season of your life
58:01when God's going to increase you and pro
58:03and promote you at those transitions,
58:07everything better be nailed down
58:09>> because what isn't nailed down is coming
58:10loose.
58:11>> That's right.
58:12And those seasons and those especially
58:14of it's in ministry can look back and
58:16those in your life you can look back at
58:18seasons and things look like they were
58:20coming loose because they weren't as
58:22they should have been in that time of
58:25transition.
58:26>> Yeah.
58:27>> And when a greater anointing comes,
58:30carnality gets judged.
58:32>> Amen.
58:34>> Yes.
58:35And the devil is always going to work
58:39through someone closest to you that's
58:41carnal.
58:44>> They're your biggest door that is open
58:47to the enemy around your life is carnal
58:50people. That's why you can't have them
58:51around you.
58:52>> Yes.
58:54>> And uh
58:56my husband used to preach this and I've
58:58seen it. We've seen it time and time
59:00again. You become a yoke to the
59:01anointing and the anointing will bust
59:03you off.
59:04>> That's right. Amen. Yes.
59:05>> Because the anointing destroys the yoke.
59:08>> That's right.
59:08>> And if we become a yoke,
59:11>> then we that anointing will deal with
59:14us.
59:14>> That's right.
59:15>> Because God's plan's going to have
59:17happen.
59:18>> And so it just deal with yourself.
59:21>> We were talking about that a little bit
59:23the first night. [music] Change. Make
59:24changes. Make changes.
59:27And we can look back in our lives and
59:29think, well, it was tragic of how some
59:32situations, relationships ended in our
59:34lives. But if they became a yoke to
59:37where God was taking you, [music]
59:38>> right?
59:39>> It was the goodness of God.
59:42>> The yoke wasn't destroying. The
59:44anointing wasn't destroying people.
59:46>> Right.
59:47>> That's right. That's right.
59:48>> People chose
59:50>> to be a yoke and try to hold back the
59:53plan of God. The anointing is going to
59:54make it happen. The anointing is going
59:55to make it happen. The anointing will
59:57bless or deal with anything in its path.
1:00:02>> That's right.
1:00:03>> So, if you're moving with the anointing,
1:00:05you'll be blessed in that that movement.
1:00:07But if you're if you're against that
1:00:10anointing, the anointing will
1:00:12>> Yeah.
1:00:12>> deal with you.
1:00:14>> Amen.
1:00:14>> Right.
1:00:15>> Amen.
1:00:16>> And uh so that's what Ed meant. Anything
1:00:19not nailed down.
1:00:21>> Right.
1:00:22My husband years and years ago, half of
1:00:25his family left before we were married
1:00:27because they didn't want
1:00:29>> That's right.
1:00:29>> the next thing God was doing. So, the
1:00:31anointing
1:00:32>> Yeah.
1:00:33>> promoted him
1:00:35>> past that.
1:00:36>> Hallelujah.
1:00:37>> Amen.
1:00:38>> So, just know this that sometimes it
1:00:40looks like something was taken out of
1:00:42your life when God really promoted you
1:00:44past that.
1:00:47>> That's right. Amen.
1:00:48>> That's right.
1:00:50>> And uh
1:00:53you know, whenever if someone enters the
1:00:56military and they start out as a buck
1:00:57private
1:00:59and they go through the ranks and
1:01:01they're faithful and they get promotion
1:01:03after promotion after promotion, they
1:01:05get to general status, they're not
1:01:07hanging out with the privates anymore
1:01:09>> because they were promoted past
1:01:13>> that level of fellowship. Yeah.
1:01:16>> You understand that? And some of you
1:01:18things you went through things you go
1:01:20that was a heartbreak. No, that was the
1:01:22anointing promoting you past.
1:01:27>> And some wouldn't go past because they
1:01:29would hold on to that level in that
1:01:32season.
1:01:33>> Yes.
1:01:33>> And Dad Hagen used to say this to us.
1:01:35What you cry about today, you'll laugh
1:01:37about tomorrow because you'll recognize
1:01:41>> that God was taking you further when it
1:01:43looked like your life was being undone.
1:01:46>> Yeah. Yeah.
1:01:47>> But Ed, that's what Ed was talking about
1:01:49when he said, "If everything that's not
1:01:51nailed down
1:01:52>> Yeah.
1:01:53>> is going to get
1:01:55come come undone."
1:01:57>> Yes. Amen.
1:01:58>> We could say it this way. If you've ever
1:02:00flown a commercial flight, they you
1:02:02carry on
1:02:04>> your bags and stuff
1:02:07>> and uh they'll tell you put it overhead.
1:02:10Put it overhead. Secure it under foot.
1:02:11Why? Because when acceleration happens,
1:02:14things that aren't in place are going to
1:02:16start moving
1:02:17>> and then what you carried on to to help
1:02:20your trip, if it comes loose against
1:02:23you,
1:02:24>> you walk off with injury. Yeah.
1:02:27>> What you carried on injured you,
1:02:31>> right?
1:02:31>> And so what we're carrying around in our
1:02:34life that we think is a is a is an
1:02:36enjoyment and a help to us can turn
1:02:38around injuring us if it's not
1:02:41>> what we need to be carrying.
1:02:43>> And if it's not in place.
1:02:45>> Amen.
1:02:46>> Yeah.
1:02:47>> And so um in that that visitation, the
1:02:52price of the double portion anointing
1:02:54>> Yes.
1:02:55Jesus talked to me about that and that's
1:02:57in book form.
1:02:58>> But one of the things that he said, the
1:03:01very last thing he said to me in that
1:03:04visitation because a little if I could
1:03:07say this, it was a bit
1:03:11overwhelming.
1:03:13The list was extensive.
1:03:16And at the end of it, I thought, wow.
1:03:20And he said to me, he said, "To walk
1:03:23under double portion anointing does not
1:03:26call for a perfect man, meaning a man
1:03:29without flaw."
1:03:30>> Right?
1:03:31>> He said, "To walk under it calls for a
1:03:34perfectly surrendered man."
1:03:37>> Not a perfect man, but a perfectly
1:03:39surrendered man.
1:03:42>> That's key.
1:03:43>> Yes.
1:03:44>> Because every every, as Dr. summer used
1:03:48to say every man of God has feet of
1:03:50clay.
1:03:51>> Right?
1:03:52>> Meaning perfection is not doesn't live
1:03:55in any man.
1:03:56>> I'm talking when we talk about
1:03:58perfection, I'm talking about flaw
1:04:00without flaw, you know. And so what we
1:04:04have to realize is that David was a man
1:04:07after God's own heart. He wasn't
1:04:09perfect, but he was perfectly
1:04:10surrendered.
1:04:14>> So you just have to guard that
1:04:16surrender. Amen.
1:04:17>> To it.
1:04:18>> And uh
1:04:21I walked in the back room in January. We
1:04:24have five conferences a year at our home
1:04:26base there in Myrietta, California.
1:04:29[cough]
1:04:29And [clears throat] for January and
1:04:31June, um Dr. Bill Winston was our guest
1:04:36minister that joined us. And in January,
1:04:38I walked in the first night. His plane
1:04:41had arrived about an hour early. So he
1:04:44was already in the green room of our
1:04:46church whenever I arrived at the church.
1:04:48And I walked in and before he greeted me
1:04:51or said anything, he said, "When you get
1:04:54to certain places in God, you cannot
1:04:57make mistakes."
1:05:00>> That's the first thing he said.
1:05:03>> There's no room for mistakes. And I
1:05:05found this out that when you walk I've
1:05:08gotten to be around some precious,
1:05:10precious men of God.
1:05:12And
1:05:14um one of the things I would have to say
1:05:16about all those who finished their
1:05:19course,
1:05:20I'm not saying they were perfect and
1:05:22without flaw, but there were no glaring
1:05:24faults.
1:05:27>> You know what I mean by glaring faults?
1:05:30>> They might have had a bit of a temper,
1:05:32but it was under control.
1:05:34They might have had a bit of this or
1:05:36that, but it was within
1:05:37>> management. They had managed it,
1:05:41>> kept it in its rightful place.
1:05:44>> So you spend your whole life really as
1:05:48you walk in the spirit, the things of
1:05:50the natural can be held in check.
1:05:53>> But you try to hold things in the
1:05:54natural in check without walking in the
1:05:56spirit and you just you're just
1:05:57disappointed in yourself all the time
1:06:00>> because it requires the help of the
1:06:02spirit. Walking in the spirit keeps the
1:06:05mind and the flesh in check.
1:06:08>> It won't renew the mind, but it helps
1:06:10keep it in check
1:06:12>> as you renew it
1:06:14>> with the word. And so it it's this thing
1:06:17of perfectly surrendered.
1:06:20Surrendering is not a one-time decision
1:06:24you made at the new birth
1:06:26>> when you receive Jesus. It is a it is an
1:06:29ongoing
1:06:31>> prayer of consecration
1:06:33>> prayer of surrender. And if you're not
1:06:35careful, you'll think that you need to
1:06:38get born again every Sunday as some do
1:06:41denominations would teach when all they
1:06:43need to do is surrender.
1:06:47>> Consecrate a new consecrate a new.
1:06:50>> Not get born again a new,
1:06:53>> but just consecrate a new. Because what
1:06:55happens? They look back over their their
1:06:57week and they saw something that wasn't
1:06:59in line with the word. Well, just lay
1:07:00that down at the feet of Jesus. Say, I
1:07:02consecrate that
1:07:04>> to you.
1:07:06>> The the blood covers that. You don't
1:07:07have to get born again again. You just
1:07:09have to consecrate yourself further.
1:07:12>> And one of the things God said to me, I
1:07:15I'd never heard this phrase and this
1:07:18wording that Jesus said to me that night
1:07:20in that visitation, he said, "You have
1:07:22to have maturity of consecration.
1:07:26that your consecration matures.
1:07:28That when you're when you're if you get
1:07:31born again and you're a teenager, you're
1:07:32consecrating to the level of your
1:07:34maturity.
1:07:38>> And God will deal with you. For example,
1:07:42you can probably look back in your
1:07:43younger years if you got saved in in
1:07:45your teenage years and one of the things
1:07:47that God might have dealt with you about
1:07:48was friends you hung out with,
1:07:51>> right?
1:07:52places you went,
1:07:54>> you know,
1:07:56>> and God will deal with you at your level
1:07:58of maturity, but as you mature, your
1:08:00consecration should mature.
1:08:02>> That you're dealing with yourself at a
1:08:04whole another level.
1:08:06>> God shouldn't be dealing with you in
1:08:08your 60s about who your friends are.
1:08:11>> That should have been dealt with as a
1:08:13teenager, you know, early on. Do you
1:08:15know what I'm saying? God will deal with
1:08:17you, our consecration at levels of
1:08:19maturity based on what season we're in.
1:08:22>> And so what he dealt with you out about
1:08:24at a previous season, he expects us to
1:08:27deal with that. And then once we come
1:08:29into further seasons of our own life and
1:08:32our spiritual walk, he'll deal with us
1:08:34further. And it'll keep going further
1:08:36and further. And this is where you see
1:08:39the phrase that John the Baptist made.
1:08:42He said, "He must increase, but I must
1:08:45decrease." He was seeing himself as ever
1:08:48needing more decrease.
1:08:51>> He he he he was saying, "I haven't
1:08:54arrived at this."
1:08:56>> His consecration was maturing.
1:09:01>> He said, "He must increase, but I must
1:09:03decrease." Meaning this, I haven't been
1:09:07at that level of consecration yet, but I
1:09:10see that's what it calls for. And even
1:09:12John the Baptist, even though he lived a
1:09:14very separated life, he wasn't living a
1:09:18as a recluse
1:09:20>> because God doesn't demand people live
1:09:23rec as a recluse. They become unbalanced
1:09:26>> and they they become out of soundness
1:09:29when they just um separate themselves
1:09:32from humanity.
1:09:33>> That's not what John the Baptist was
1:09:35doing. He was living in a place out in
1:09:37the wilderness where he could hear.
1:09:40>> Yes.
1:09:41And so he went to a place of hearing,
1:09:43not to a place of
1:09:44>> recluse.
1:09:47>> And even in that
1:09:50>> here he was, he was that voice
1:09:54that was crying out in the wilderness
1:09:57and the population came to this solitary
1:10:00place just to get around a man of
1:10:02consecration.
1:10:03>> Amen.
1:10:04>> Right.
1:10:05>> Amen.
1:10:05>> Yeah.
1:10:06>> He was a consecrated man to live out
1:10:08there. Yeah,
1:10:09>> he would have been a very unique
1:10:11>> human.
1:10:13>> A very unique human. People would have
1:10:16looked at him and said, "He's weird."
1:10:18>> Well, no, his consecration was further
1:10:20than theirs.
1:10:20>> Further,
1:10:22>> but even at the end of his ministry, he
1:10:25said, "He must increase. I must
1:10:27decrease."
1:10:28>> That's right.
1:10:28>> He was the leading preacher of the day,
1:10:31>> John the Baptist.
1:10:33And uh there came a time when he in he
1:10:37gave his endorsement of his prophetic
1:10:41voice over to Jesus.
1:10:45>> He said saw him from a distance said,
1:10:47"Behold the lamb of God that takes away
1:10:49the sin of the world." And his disciples
1:10:51heard it. Those he were he that were
1:10:54following him heard it. And some of it
1:10:58some in in in in the passage it said and
1:11:01so some of those that were following uh
1:11:03John the Baptist from that day forward
1:11:05began to follow Jesus. Why? Because this
1:11:07man of credibility
1:11:09shifted the affection of the people in
1:11:11another direction and then he steps
1:11:13back.
1:11:16>> Why? He's not trying to hold the people
1:11:22>> because he doesn't have a poor
1:11:23self-image.
1:11:24>> That's right. Amen.
1:11:27>> He has a divine self-image.
1:11:30>> He sees himself fulfilling a plan
1:11:32instead of being a man trying to achieve
1:11:35greatness.
1:11:38>> And so there were religious leaders that
1:11:42came to him and said, "Look,
1:11:46he to whom thou beest witness, all men
1:11:49are coming to him." Yeah.
1:11:50>> So, they're going to John the Baptist
1:11:52say, "Look, the crowd used to come to
1:11:54you, but you you gave you put your stamp
1:11:56of approval on a man and your crowds
1:11:58left and went to him." They're trying to
1:12:00say, "Look at what your endorsement did
1:12:02against your ministry."
1:12:06>> That's right.
1:12:06>> Trying to get a compare,
1:12:08>> right?
1:12:09>> And he said, "A man can receive nothing
1:12:13except it be given him from heaven." In
1:12:16other words, if heaven gave him the
1:12:18people
1:12:20I'm not trying to keep them.
1:12:25>> But yet, that was the mentality of those
1:12:27who were comparing ministries, comparing
1:12:30John the Baptist ministry with Jesus
1:12:32because John the Baptist was the leading
1:12:35preacher of the day. The multitudes came
1:12:38to him.
1:12:40>> And so he he prepared the people and
1:12:43then said, "Go that way." Yes.
1:12:48>> And Jesus said, "Of a truth there's been
1:12:50born none greater
1:12:53>> than John the Baptist of a woman."
1:12:56People treat people um teach this wrong
1:13:00in denominational circles
1:13:03because they say that when he was
1:13:06imprisoned, John the Baptist sent word
1:13:09to Jesus, "Are you the one?" Yeah.
1:13:11>> And Jesus said, "Go tell him the eyes
1:13:14the bl the eyes of the blind are open.
1:13:16The lame are walking." Told the
1:13:18miracles. And he said, "Blessed is he
1:13:19that's not offended." So religious world
1:13:22teaches John the Baptist was an offended
1:13:24man. And Jesus was basically rebuke him
1:13:27for being offended at that. He was
1:13:29saying, "Blessed is he because he's not
1:13:31offended." What? That's what Jesus said.
1:13:33He's not offended.
1:13:34>> It's the religious leaders that were
1:13:35offended.
1:13:37>> But of all the leaders, John the Baptist
1:13:38was not offended. He said, "Blessed is
1:13:40he that's not offended
1:13:42>> at this." And not only that, Jesus said,
1:13:44"Of a woman there's been born none
1:13:46greater." You think Jesus was saying
1:13:47that John the Baptist,
1:13:50who religion teaches was an offended
1:13:52man?
1:13:53>> You think Jesus called an offended man
1:13:55great?
1:13:57>> Offense will keep you out of greatness.
1:14:01>> You see what I'm saying? What was that
1:14:03consecration? He was so consecrated to
1:14:06God that he was safe with multitudes. He
1:14:08didn't care whether they were there or
1:14:10not
1:14:12>> because he wasn't gaining his self-worth
1:14:14and his definition of success from uh
1:14:16his popularity.
1:14:19>> So he said uh uh a man can receive
1:14:22nothing except it be given him from
1:14:24heaven. In other words, if if heaven has
1:14:26assigned those people to him, I'm not
1:14:28going to get in heaven's way and try to
1:14:30hold them to myself.
1:14:32>> Then he said this, he must increase. I
1:14:36must decrease. not only in his own eyes
1:14:39but in the eyes of the people.
1:14:42>> He was willing for them to forget his
1:14:45ministry.
1:14:47>> And I firmly believe this people and
1:14:50I've heard it preached that John the
1:14:52Baptist let a man a woman kill him
1:14:56because uh he he uh addressed
1:15:02the king and said you're you shouldn't
1:15:04be having this. And they had him
1:15:05arrested. A woman said, "Give me the
1:15:06head of John the Baptist on a platter."
1:15:08And people say, "See, he he got killed
1:15:11by one on a platter." No. Uh his head on
1:15:13a platter by a woman. No. No. Jesus. Uh
1:15:16the word says that he is a voice
1:15:19preparing the way.
1:15:20>> That's right.
1:15:21>> He prepared the way in earth
1:15:24>> and he prepared the way in paradise.
1:15:27>> That's right.
1:15:28>> He had to precede Jesus in life and he
1:15:30preceded him in death because he went to
1:15:32paradise and said, "He's coming." and
1:15:35you're getting ready to get released.
1:15:36Jesus led captivity captive.
1:15:39>> He had to be a forerunner and a voice in
1:15:42every realm.
1:15:45>> He was supposed to leave first.
1:15:48>> That's good.
1:15:50>> That's consecration.
1:15:54>> Yet it looked like his ministry was on
1:15:57the decline in the eyes of the public.
1:15:59And he said, "He's on the increase."
1:16:02>> Amen.
1:16:02>> Jesus is on the increase. He said,
1:16:04"Therefore, my joy is fulfilled."
1:16:09>> Yes.
1:16:09>> You understand that?
1:16:11>> He said, "Because the crowds are going
1:16:13to him, I've done it.
1:16:15>> I've consecrated and played my part.
1:16:19>> Now, my joy fulfilled because they went
1:16:22to him. They didn't stick with me."
1:16:24>> I didn't mean to go all that. But what
1:16:26I'm saying is there's seasons in your
1:16:28life that call for further consecration
1:16:31>> in all of us. Yes.
1:16:33>> Yes.
1:16:34>> Why? Because God has more places for us
1:16:36to go.
1:16:38>> G the Baptist wanted the affection of
1:16:41the people off of him onto Jesus. Why?
1:16:44Because he's leaving.
1:16:47>> It leaves a gap in the people in the
1:16:50life. How many times when there's a
1:16:52leader uh maybe a pastor and something
1:16:54happens and that church falls apart and
1:16:56the sheep are left without
1:16:59>> a pastor, how that harms the body. John
1:17:01the Baptist didn't do that. He shifted
1:17:03them to Jesus. Then he stepped back
1:17:08>> and went to paradise and said, "He's
1:17:10coming to you, too.
1:17:13>> He'll be here quickly."
1:17:16>> Isn't that that's consecration?
1:17:20>> And Jesus said that night in that
1:17:23visitation, he called it maturity of
1:17:25consecration.
1:17:28that our consecration
1:17:30uh our degree of consecration grows as
1:17:33our walk with him grows
1:17:36>> and he'll demand more of you not to get
1:17:38something out of you but to take you
1:17:40further.
1:17:42>> John had John the Baptist had a further
1:17:44place to go
1:17:46>> and it wasn't in this realm.
1:17:49>> Think about it.
1:17:52>> Yeah. That's why Jesus said, "Of a
1:17:54woman, there's been more none greater
1:17:56than that man."
1:17:58>> Because he wasn't doing any He wasn't
1:18:00building anything for himself. He was
1:18:02building it for Jesus and handing it to
1:18:04him. Building it for Jesus, handing it
1:18:05to him. Building it to Jes hand it to
1:18:07him. You can't do that with a poor
1:18:09self-image.
1:18:10>> You'll keep it all for yourself so that
1:18:12you feel good about yourself.
1:18:16>> Amen.
1:18:18>> Amen. And how many people would build
1:18:21something and then just hand it to
1:18:23another and walk off?
1:18:28>> Well,
1:18:31>> uh the word tells us that God sets us in
1:18:34the body as it pleases him.
1:18:38>> We don't choose where we fit.
1:18:40>> That's right.
1:18:40>> Why? Because we would choose and things
1:18:43would become unfit.
1:18:45>> That's right.
1:18:45>> That's right.
1:18:47He knows exactly where you fit.
1:18:50>> Yes, he does.
1:18:51>> So, if he's pleased to set you
1:18:53somewhere, be pleased to be there.
1:18:56>> Amen.
1:18:57>> Amen.
1:18:58>> Because I want to be where he's pleased.
1:19:01>> I choose that what pleases him pleases
1:19:03me.
1:19:04>> Not what I planned pleases me. What he
1:19:08where he sets me pleases me.
1:19:10>> And you say, "Well, how do I know where
1:19:12he set me?" Just do what's right in
1:19:13front of you.
1:19:15Just do what's right in front of you.
1:19:18>> You know what's my ministry? Whatever
1:19:20wherever the pastor says they need help
1:19:22in the local church. That's your
1:19:23ministry. You see,
1:19:25>> just do what's right in front of you.
1:19:28>> Amen.
1:19:29>> And if you'll be pleased in that place,
1:19:31then God can promote you to further
1:19:33places.
1:19:34>> But it Why would he promote us to
1:19:36further if we haven't learned to be
1:19:37pleased where we where with what's right
1:19:39in front of us?
1:19:40>> That's right.
1:19:41>> Amen.
1:19:42>> Amen.
1:19:42>> Amen. And um God's been holding bringing
1:19:46this verse to me. Luke 9 23. And I'm
1:19:51going to read out of the King James
1:19:52translation to begin with. Luke 9 23.
1:20:00And um
1:20:06some have
1:20:09misunderstood this verse, but
1:20:12it's still true. Nevertheless,
1:20:14and he said to them all,
1:20:17look at that. To them all, if any man
1:20:20will come after me, let him deny himself
1:20:24and take up his cross. Look at this.
1:20:27What's the next word?
1:20:28>> Daily.
1:20:29>> Ah,
1:20:30>> this is a daily situation.
1:20:33>> It's not a Sunday situation.
1:20:36>> To fulfill what you're born for is a
1:20:38daily situation.
1:20:40to uh advance in God. It's a daily
1:20:43situation. It's not necessarily
1:20:46spiritual settings you'll always be in
1:20:48daily.
1:20:52>> That when you're on the job,
1:20:54>> it doesn't and you say, "Well, this
1:20:56isn't the job of my dream." It doesn't
1:20:58matter how you treat that job daily.
1:21:02>> God's watching.
1:21:04>> How you're handling your daily
1:21:07responsibilities.
1:21:08God's de God's building you in the
1:21:11daily.
1:21:14>> So it does matter the attitude toward
1:21:17the boss. It does matter what is said or
1:21:20not said in the lunchroom at work.
1:21:23>> Does matter
1:21:24>> because the daily is where God's looking
1:21:27at your life.
1:21:29>> Yeah.
1:21:30>> We don't just get to pick. He gets to
1:21:32watch us on Sunday when our hands are
1:21:33raised.
1:21:37>> Right. Right. Come on.
1:21:39>> He watched me when I said to my sons,
1:21:42"You're not going over to those kids'
1:21:43house."
1:21:46>> God was watching my faithfulness
1:21:49>> of how I raised my children.
1:21:52>> You see, because it took faith to to
1:21:54say, "Others may, you're not."
1:21:58>> That's right.
1:21:59>> Yeah.
1:22:00And so how we live daily is going to
1:22:05play into where God can take us.
1:22:08>> That's right.
1:22:08>> So don't think it doesn't really matter
1:22:10because these aren't church people I'm
1:22:12dealing with. No. How how you're
1:22:14handling people daily.
1:22:17>> Amen.
1:22:18>> Amen.
1:22:18>> The clerk
1:22:19>> in the store.
1:22:22>> How you're handling God is building you
1:22:25through the daily.
1:22:27>> Amen. Amen.
1:22:28>> And proving us through the daily,
1:22:30>> revealing us to ourselves through the
1:22:33daily.
1:22:35>> And he said, "If any man will come after
1:22:37me, let him deny himself and take up his
1:22:40cross daily and follow me." The Living
1:22:44Bible Translation said, "Anyone who
1:22:47wants to follow me must put aside his
1:22:50own desires and conveniences
1:22:53and carry his cross with him
1:22:57every day and keep close to me."
1:23:01The Amplified Translation says, "And he
1:23:04said to all, if any person wills to come
1:23:07after me, let him deny himself, disown
1:23:10himself, forget, lose sight of himself
1:23:14and his own interests, refuse and give
1:23:18up himself." Wow.
1:23:21>> And take up his cross daily and follow
1:23:24me. Cleave steadfastly to me. Conform to
1:23:27my example in living. and if need be in
1:23:30dying also.
1:23:33[clears throat]
1:23:34>> Wow. [laughter]
1:23:38>> So Jesus is describing something more
1:23:41than because people read this as
1:23:43enduring hardship. Following him is not
1:23:45hardship.
1:23:47>> Obeying him is not hardship. Laying down
1:23:50that which would trip you up is not
1:23:52hardship. It's safety.
1:23:57To pick up your cross is to pick up
1:24:00something heaven authored for you.
1:24:04Amen.
1:24:06>> I I I I love the the time John Ostein
1:24:11was talking about he in ministry the
1:24:13church was growing and there was a lot
1:24:16of responsibilities and he started
1:24:18carrying that wrongly
1:24:20and he went to God and he said the
1:24:23responsibilities of this is just
1:24:25overwhelming me. He said, "The cross is
1:24:28too heavy to bear." And while he was
1:24:31saying that, he had a vision.
1:24:33>> And he had a vision of three the three
1:24:35crosses on the hill. And in the vision,
1:24:38he was walking up to one of those
1:24:40crosses at the side. And he said, "I
1:24:42knew I was going to go pick up that
1:24:44cross." And he said, "I saw that heavy
1:24:46wooden cross." And he says, "I went to
1:24:49grab hold of that. I walked up the hill.
1:24:51When I went to grab hold of the base of
1:24:53it to lift it out of the ground to carry
1:24:55my cross, he said the most amazing thing
1:24:57happened. It lifted me.
1:25:01>> I was anticipating the weight of what I
1:25:04was carrying and it carried me.
1:25:10>> That's the cross Jesus talking about.
1:25:12>> If you pick up what he's authored for
1:25:14you, it will carry you.
1:25:19>> Amen. It'll lift you.
1:25:22>> It'll lift you out of the low flow.
1:25:24>> It'll lift you out of the self-effort.
1:25:28>> Amen.
1:25:28>> So, when it says take up your cross, he
1:25:31said take it take up that which lifts
1:25:33you. Take up take up that which God's
1:25:36authored for you because it will elevate
1:25:38you. It'll bring you into a higher flow.
1:25:41But notice he said, "Take it up daily."
1:25:44>> Yeah, that's right.
1:25:45>> Daily.
1:25:46>> Meaning this. Heaven doesn't let us live
1:25:49off of yesterday's obedience.
1:25:51>> Amen. Amen.
1:25:54>> But you say, "Well, that's not fair."
1:25:55Well, let me ask you this. As a parent,
1:25:57do you let your children live off of
1:25:59yesterday's obedience?
1:26:00>> No.
1:26:01>> No.
1:26:02>> They might have obeyed you yesterday,
1:26:03but you expect it today, too.
1:26:05>> That's right.
1:26:06>> And they still get spanked
1:26:09>> for disobedience today, even after they
1:26:11obeyed yesterday.
1:26:13>> True. Amen.
1:26:14>> Why do you do that? because you're
1:26:16teaching them obedience is a lifestyle.
1:26:18It's not a moment. And this is what we
1:26:21have to understand. Picking up our
1:26:23cross, obeying is a lifestyle. It's not,
1:26:27oh, I served for a few years in my
1:26:29church,
1:26:30>> so basically I've checked that box off.
1:26:33>> I had years ago someone that uh had been
1:26:36on staff briefly, but they served in a
1:26:39very important place in the local
1:26:41church. Not a visible place, but an
1:26:44important place. And they came to me one
1:26:46day and said, "Well, Pastor Nancy, I'd
1:26:49like to be relieved of that position.
1:26:51I've been doing it for 12 years." Now,
1:26:53see, uh,
1:26:54>> I knew where this is going. I said,
1:26:56"Well, I've been pastoring for 20 years.
1:26:57Should I be relieved?"
1:26:59>> All right. Now,
1:27:01>> before I even let them finish the
1:27:03request, I know where you're headed.
1:27:05>> That's so good.
1:27:06>> And the length of time you've done it
1:27:08does not qualify you for abandonment.
1:27:16So you're you're you're talking about
1:27:18wanting to be relieved because you've
1:27:22done it 12 years. Well, you should be
1:27:24grateful that God thought of you for 12
1:27:26years
1:27:29>> instead of treating it like a life
1:27:30sentence from
1:27:32>> the from a court punishing you.
1:27:37>> Seriously.
1:27:39>> Right. Amen.
1:27:40>> So, basically, you're getting ready to
1:27:42list all of your 12 years of obedience
1:27:45so that you can you can be approved for
1:27:46your disobedience you're fixing to ask
1:27:48for.
1:27:48>> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
1:27:50[laughter]
1:27:51>> Come on.
1:27:51>> Yeah.
1:27:52>> I knew where you're going.
1:27:53>> Yeah.
1:27:55>> That's right.
1:27:55>> Yeah. Yeah.
1:27:58>> So, he said, "I've been serving in this
1:28:00position for 12 years, and so I'm I'm
1:28:03I'm wanting to be dismissed from that
1:28:05position." I said, "I've been serving
1:28:0620. Should I be dismissed?
1:28:09What if I just, you know, let me just
1:28:12not show up Sunday? Is that okay? If you
1:28:14don't show up in your place Sunday, do I
1:28:16not show up in my place Sunday?
1:28:19>> Come on.
1:28:20>> See the mindset?
1:28:22>> Treating the plan is disposable.
1:28:24Treating a place, an assignment, the
1:28:27place God was pleased to set us as
1:28:29disposable.
1:28:33>> So he said, "Well, I've done it long
1:28:36enough. I want to
1:28:39I want to be taken out of that
1:28:41department. I said, "Yes, absolutely."
1:28:44Because when someone loses honor for it,
1:28:47>> I want to put someone who held honor for
1:28:49it in that place.
1:28:53>> So, I knew this was just the beginning
1:28:56of many steps.
1:28:57>> This was one step.
1:28:59>> That's right, pastor.
1:29:00>> To many wrong steps.
1:29:02>> That's right.
1:29:04And it wasn't long
1:29:07until they weren't sitting on the second
1:29:09row anymore. They were sitting on the
1:29:11fifth row.
1:29:12>> Then they were sitting on the ninth row.
1:29:15>> And then they got closer to the door.
1:29:20>> I'm not stupid.
1:29:24>> That's right.
1:29:25>> So I watched him exit the church.
1:29:29>> His other his family stayed in. His wife
1:29:32and child stayed in, but he exited. But
1:29:35then I knew he's not done exiting
1:29:36because one door leads to another door.
1:29:40>> And then he exited at his marriage.
1:29:43>> You see what what is that? When you quit
1:29:47taking up the place daily, something
1:29:50else comes in its place.
1:29:51>> That's right.
1:29:53>> Amen.
1:29:54>> So you need to choose what's in your
1:29:56place daily.
1:29:57>> Yes, ma'am. Yes,
1:29:58>> because something's going to be there
1:29:59daily
1:30:00>> and it might as well be your what you're
1:30:02consecrated to
1:30:03>> instead of what is forced upon you
1:30:05because of abandonment of your place.
1:30:11>> And then I'm I'm just telling you then
1:30:13left that marriage
1:30:15after a time entered another marriage
1:30:18and right after entered that marriage
1:30:20that second spouse became an invalid and
1:30:23now all you're doing is taking care of
1:30:25an invalid. I'm not saying they
1:30:27shouldn't be taken care of. I'm saying
1:30:29when you left, what if you leave the
1:30:32will of God,
1:30:33>> where are you going to go that's better?
1:30:40>> Check your sanity.
1:30:42>> Check your soundness. If you leave the
1:30:44place God was pleased for you to be,
1:30:48>> but you chose not to be pleased, where
1:30:51do you go that's better than what
1:30:53pleased God?
1:30:57daily.
1:30:59>> Did it for 12 years. And one step out of
1:31:03that place of disobedience, it was as
1:31:06though they never obeyed for 12 years
1:31:09>> because everything they gained was lost.
1:31:13>> Within a couple years, everything was
1:31:14gone.
1:31:16>> Every bit of advancement.
1:31:18>> When they came to the church, they had
1:31:20nothing.
1:31:22They were eating out of our food pantry
1:31:24when they came.
1:31:25>> My gosh.
1:31:26>> They got a business and after a while,
1:31:29after several years, they had this big
1:31:33renewal of the wedding vows, which was
1:31:35marvelous and they fed the entire church
1:31:39>> because God had prospered their business
1:31:42so much.
1:31:44But when they abandoned
1:31:46>> the place God was pleased for them to
1:31:48serve, they abandoned their increase.
1:31:53>> And went back and lost everything that
1:31:55had been gained. Why? Daily take it up.
1:31:58It's not enough you did it for 12 years.
1:32:00>> That's right.
1:32:01>> You do it for the rest of your life.
1:32:04>> Yes.
1:32:06>> Just settle it.
1:32:08>> I'm going to be where God wants me to be
1:32:10for the rest of my life. Amen.
1:32:13>> And I consecrate to a daily
1:32:16>> obedience.
1:32:18>> Not Sunday obedience. Daily. Daily.
1:32:22>> This is a daily thing.
1:32:24>> Yes.
1:32:24>> Amen.
1:32:26>> Amen.
1:32:29>> So Jesus in talking in this verse is
1:32:32describing more than enduring hardship.
1:32:34He's describing a daily decision of
1:32:36surrender and obedience.
1:32:37>> Yes.
1:32:38>> That's what picking up your cross is
1:32:40daily. The cross is not the place of
1:32:43suffering for you. Jesus suffered.
1:32:46>> It's a place of assignment for you.
1:32:50>> That's good.
1:32:52>> So in Jesus's day, the cross was not
1:32:56primarily symbol
1:32:58of difficulty. It was an instrument of
1:33:00death.
1:33:03And a person carrying that cross was
1:33:05headed to an execution. So what's he
1:33:07pointing to the cross? a death to
1:33:10self-ruule.
1:33:12>> I'm not ruling myself. I belong to
1:33:14another. I've been bought by another.
1:33:16And I belong to someone now who owns me
1:33:20and they are a love lord.
1:33:23>> They rule me by the law of love.
1:33:27>> Instead of before I belong to him and I
1:33:30was under a master of hate.
1:33:32>> I was being mastered by sin, mastered by
1:33:35death.
1:33:36>> The spirit of death was at work. But now
1:33:39we're under a love lord.
1:33:41>> And to to receive the most from that
1:33:44love lord, you don't have to defend
1:33:46yourself against the love lord
1:33:50>> by having self ambition,
1:33:53>> self preference, selfpreservation. You
1:33:57don't have to because this love Lord
1:33:59will do nothing but lift you, elevate
1:34:01you,
1:34:03>> bring abundance to you. You have to let
1:34:05down guard. Yeah,
1:34:07>> you had to be guarded under the old
1:34:09master.
1:34:11>> But under the new master, let down all
1:34:13guard
1:34:15>> because you can't take on the fullness
1:34:18of the love flow from the love master
1:34:20guarded.
1:34:21>> Guard my self-image, guarding my guard
1:34:24from the hurts of the past, guarding
1:34:25this, guard. He said, "Let go of all of
1:34:28that so that all that belongs to you
1:34:31under this love Lord can rewrite your
1:34:34life.
1:34:38Amen.
1:34:40>> You're taking up not a cross of
1:34:42suffering, but you're saying, "I'm done
1:34:45living for me."
1:34:46>> Because the love Lord has a higher
1:34:50>> productivity out of my life
1:34:53>> than my ambition could ever produce.
1:34:57>> Amen.
1:34:58>> He authored a love plan for me.
1:35:00>> Amen. And in that plan, people's lives
1:35:02are rescued and the earth is changed and
1:35:05my family uh blessing just doesn't reach
1:35:08me. It reaches into generations.
1:35:11>> So he's talking about taking up your
1:35:13cross a a death to self-ruule.
1:35:16>> Yes.
1:35:18>> Self-rule. I don't I'm not I'm not
1:35:20living I belong to him.
1:35:22>> I take my cues from him.
1:35:25>> That's right.
1:35:26>> That's right. I'm living based on
1:35:30how he's leading and guiding because I'm
1:35:33safe under his lordship.
1:35:35>> Amen.
1:35:36>> Right.
1:35:38>> So this isn't something that Americans
1:35:42hear much because we're free.
1:35:48But freedom in God makes you the high
1:35:51one of the highest freedoms you have in
1:35:53God is not to be ruled by you anymore.
1:35:58>> Because when you were ruled by you,
1:36:00remember what your life looked like?
1:36:05>> When you chose for yourself?
1:36:07>> Yeah.
1:36:09>> Uh-huh.
1:36:11>> So, it's death to self-ruule. the right
1:36:14to make ourselves, our desires, and our
1:36:16preferences our final authority. No,
1:36:18we're not doing that. He's our final
1:36:20authority.
1:36:21>> The word is our final authority.
1:36:24>> Amen.
1:36:24>> Amen.
1:36:25>> Amen.
1:36:26>> So, uh,
1:36:29>> this fits the phrase immediately before
1:36:32when he says, "Let him deny himself."
1:36:37Deny your flesh. deny say, "I'm not
1:36:40living that way anymore with me on the
1:36:42throne of my life. It's him now."
1:36:46>> And you're completely He will take you
1:36:48places your own self-ruule never would
1:36:51get you.
1:36:51>> That's right.
1:36:52>> True.
1:36:52>> That's right.
1:36:54>> So, it means saying no to self when self
1:36:57conflicts with God.
1:37:02>> I love I love something that God said to
1:37:05one person. They had
1:37:08a profession that was in their they had
1:37:11great skill in a certain direction
1:37:13and they had built a business, a
1:37:15wonderful business. And in in the midst
1:37:19of that business growing, God spoke and
1:37:21said, "Shut the business down."
1:37:24>> And that business was their whole
1:37:27>> enjoyment.
1:37:31>> And they struggled with shutting that
1:37:32down. Yeah.
1:37:35>> And so one day they said to God, "God,
1:37:38that's my dream. It's been my dream to
1:37:40have this and I've spent years of my
1:37:42life building this." And God said to
1:37:44them, "Can you trust me with your
1:37:46dream?"
1:37:48>> He's not trying to dismantle your dream.
1:37:53>> And so they had the faith. They closed
1:37:55down the business and God gave them
1:37:58another business. And if I were to tell
1:38:01you they're on television now and their
1:38:03business has gone worldwide,
1:38:05>> you would know them.
1:38:06>> But only because they trusted God to
1:38:10shut down what they had built that was
1:38:12limited so God could take them into the
1:38:14unlimited. And he took them worldwide,
1:38:17worldwide business.
1:38:19>> You'd know them all. They're they're in
1:38:21every store you walk in.
1:38:25and that God did that because that's
1:38:27what that's what laying down denying
1:38:30what you thought was a great plan,
1:38:33>> but it's it's just a hint
1:38:35>> of what he
1:38:37>> he already authored for you.
1:38:39>> Yeah.
1:38:42>> And it's not just merely one great act
1:38:44of surrender. It's a daily posture.
1:38:48>> A daily posture. Yeah. Every day we
1:38:52choose his will over our will.
1:38:54>> We choose his word over our feelings. We
1:38:57choose his plan over our preference.
1:39:00>> We choose obedience over convenience. We
1:39:03choose faith over fear, love over
1:39:05offense. And that's why the cross is a
1:39:07daily thing.
1:39:08>> Amen.
1:39:09>> Because uh uh fulfilling the plan of God
1:39:12is a daily flow.
1:39:14>> It's not a Sunday situation.
1:39:16>> Right.
1:39:19>> That's right. I was um
1:39:23kind of where this began is I was with
1:39:25somebody
1:39:27um they have gone on to be with the Lord
1:39:29now and in talking to them
1:39:33uh before they passed they were talking
1:39:36about how they were endeavoring and they
1:39:38had been raised in um a denominational
1:39:41situ setting hadn't been taught some of
1:39:44the things you've been taught but with
1:39:46all the faith they had they endeavored
1:39:48in their you know their last season of
1:39:51life to use their faith, you know, um
1:39:55for their body and different things. And
1:39:58after they passed, I said to God, "Talk
1:40:00to me about their situation." I heard
1:40:02him pray. I heard them confess things.
1:40:06And uh I didn't see much relief from
1:40:11their own prayers.
1:40:13>> And I said, "Can you talk to me about
1:40:15that? What can I learn from that?" And
1:40:16he said, "Yes." He said toward the end
1:40:19of their life they endeavored to
1:40:22exercise
1:40:23>> my word. He said the only thing is is
1:40:27that to exercise and live under a flow
1:40:29of my word is a daily situation.
1:40:31>> Right?
1:40:32>> And they had no skill in it because they
1:40:34didn't start this until their last days.
1:40:37>> So when their last days called for it,
1:40:40their previous days had no none of it.
1:40:42>> Right?
1:40:42>> And he said they were trying to walk in
1:40:44authority they had never walked in
1:40:46before. Although it belonged to them,
1:40:49they had no skill in it.
1:40:51>> They tried to walk in healing that
1:40:52belonged to them, but they had no skill
1:40:54in it because in their daily life, it
1:40:56wasn't part of their life. And now at
1:40:58the end of their life, they're wanting
1:41:00to gra hold it and flow in something
1:41:03that was not part of their days.
1:41:08>> What is it? Miracles are not moments.
1:41:10>> They're daily.
1:41:13>> Healing is not moments. It's daily.
1:41:15Amen.
1:41:16>> This is what I want you to see. We fall
1:41:18into this trap
1:41:20>> that things are instantaneous,
1:41:23>> that things are
1:41:25>> moments,
1:41:26>> but it's an everyday
1:41:29>> practicing,
1:41:31>> every day
1:41:32>> walking it. Every day dealing with the
1:41:35thoughts, every day dealing with the
1:41:38words, every day resisting,
1:41:41>> every day taking. Yeah,
1:41:44>> it's a daily lifestyle.
1:41:47>> Those of Wigglesworth that we read after
1:41:51John G. Lake, it was not moments. It was
1:41:54daily lifestyle. And if you don't get
1:41:58that, you think it's okay to live any
1:42:00way you want during the week as long as
1:42:02you're there on Sunday.
1:42:03>> Come on.
1:42:05>> Come on.
1:42:06>> Yeah. That's right.
1:42:08>> And that's when these truths won't work
1:42:11as they're designed to work. Amen. Amen.
1:42:14>> Because it's treated as a momentary
1:42:17thing instead of the way we live every
1:42:20day.
1:42:20>> Amen.
1:42:21>> Amen.
1:42:22>> Amen.
1:42:23>> Amen.
1:42:24>> Our walk with God is daily. Our prayer
1:42:28life develops daily.
1:42:30>> Our obedience goes further daily.
1:42:33Everything of our faith gains skill
1:42:36daily.
1:42:37>> Amen. Right.
1:42:39>> That's what take up your cross.
1:42:43>> People just pick up this thing. Take up
1:42:45your cross. And they treat it like, "Oh,
1:42:47I'm going to be abused."
1:42:49>> No, the big thing was not just taking up
1:42:52your cross, but daily. This is a daily
1:42:55thing.
1:42:57>> It's a daily thing.
1:42:59>> Yeah.
1:43:00>> Now, if you'll see my walk with God is a
1:43:04daily thing.
1:43:05Everything about what he offers me is a
1:43:08daily thing. You'll quit stepping in,
1:43:10stepping out, stepping in, stepping out,
1:43:12stepping in, step making progress, then
1:43:15falling away. Then not if you'll just
1:43:18treat it as though you didn't do it
1:43:20yesterday
1:43:23>> and do it. Meaning, you can't live off
1:43:26what you did yesterday.
1:43:28>> Can do you want God to live off what he
1:43:32did for you yesterday?
1:43:34>> No. His
1:43:36mercies are new
1:43:37>> every morning.
1:43:39>> He didn't say, "Hey, I gave you I gave
1:43:41you mercies last year.
1:43:43[laughter]
1:43:44>> We don't want God to extend his mercy to
1:43:47us
1:43:48>> momentarily."
1:43:50>> Or just in the past. We We need it
1:43:53today. He loads us
1:43:55>> daily with benefits.
1:43:58>> Yes.
1:43:59>> Everything with God is daily in your
1:44:02life.
1:44:04Give us this
1:44:06>> day our
1:44:08>> daily bread.
1:44:10>> Ah, wow. It's daily. [laughter]
1:44:15>> Every day you get a fresh doover.
1:44:18>> Hallelujah.
1:44:20>> Every day.
1:44:21>> Every day.
1:44:23>> I can't tell you the number of days I've
1:44:24done I I should have done better, could
1:44:27have done better, cried that I didn't do
1:44:29better. And God and and Jesus would say
1:44:32to me, "Forget it."
1:44:35>> Because it's going to affect today.
1:44:36>> If you don't forget it,
1:44:39>> today won't be done any better than
1:44:41yesterday. If you don't forget it,
1:44:44>> we're not flippant about it and treating
1:44:47it lightly. But his blood cleanses us
1:44:49when we did it wrong so that we can do
1:44:51it right today.
1:44:55>> Every day
1:44:56>> is a new opportunity to do it right.
1:45:00Amen.
1:45:02>> And it's not just Sunday. You don't have
1:45:04to wait till Sunday till the altar call
1:45:06is given.
1:45:08>> Amen.
1:45:08>> Amen.
1:45:10>> So, uh, don't be so hard on yourself.
1:45:14>> Yes.
1:45:15>> That you're so hard on yourself that you
1:45:17do it wrong today because you remembered
1:45:20you didn't do it right yesterday.
1:45:24>> That's good. Yes.
1:45:25>> Because he he stocks us with what we
1:45:28need to do it right every
1:45:29>> day.
1:45:31>> Daily mercies, daily benefits,
1:45:34everything he has for us is for every
1:45:37day. Because God said to me, he said the
1:45:40Christian life is uh it's it's as though
1:45:44you every day is its own container,
1:45:47>> right?
1:45:48>> Yeah. Amen. And he said, "If you have a
1:45:52jar that represents your life, every day
1:45:55you have to fill that jar with faith,
1:45:57you have to fill it with the doing of
1:45:59the word. You have to fill it with
1:46:01because what you put in yesterday's jar
1:46:03isn't transferred to today's jar. It's
1:46:06it each day is its own separate
1:46:08contained
1:46:10>> flow."
1:46:11Now you say, "Well, isn't there benefit
1:46:14from having done it right yesterday?"
1:46:15Yes. And the benefit is skill. Yes.
1:46:18>> Skill it.
1:46:19>> But the benefit is not yesterday's faith
1:46:21is not today's faith.
1:46:23>> Yes.
1:46:25>> Come on.
1:46:25>> But skill can be transferred. Faith
1:46:27can't.
1:46:28>> Right.
1:46:30>> Skill can be transferred. Obedience
1:46:32can't.
1:46:33>> Amen.
1:46:35>> You understand that?
1:46:37>> Amen. Amen.
1:46:39>> When we were um at Southwest Believers
1:46:42this year, I was in Benny Hinn's
1:46:44Saturday morning healing school uh
1:46:46service and he made this statement. He
1:46:49said, "God knows nothing of um leftover
1:46:52power."
1:46:53>> Wow.
1:46:54>> God knows nothing of leftover obedience.
1:46:57>> Amen.
1:46:58>> God knows nothing of leftover fullness.
1:47:01>> You have to have your own every day.
1:47:03Every day. Every
1:47:04>> day. This is what made John the Baptist
1:47:08great. Every day,
1:47:09>> yes,
1:47:10>> he lived in a place where he could hear
1:47:11God.
1:47:13>> You see, quit quit worrying about
1:47:15yesterday and quit worrying about
1:47:16tomorrow because you can't fill those
1:47:18yet. Feel today.
1:47:20>> Fill today's container.
1:47:23>> Amen.
1:47:24>> So, what am I saying? Faith is a daily
1:47:26discipline.
1:47:28>> It's a daily discipline.
1:47:30>> So, gain the skill of it.
1:47:33>> Amen.
1:47:34>> It's a cons. It's a it's a it's about a
1:47:36life of consistency.
1:47:38>> Just showing up and doing it right.
1:47:42>> And if you didn't do as well today, do
1:47:45better tomorrow.
1:47:48>> Follow better tomorrow. Yield further
1:47:51tomorrow.
1:47:53>> Somebody asked Smith Wigglesworth said
1:47:55to him uh said, "What to what you do you
1:47:58attribute your skill at following the
1:48:01Holy Ghost?" And he said this, "Every
1:48:04time that the spirit of God would deal
1:48:08with me, I would sense his moving." He
1:48:10said, "I'd start responding to him."
1:48:13>> He said, "I just responded every time."
1:48:15>> Amen.
1:48:15>> I just responded every time. And you
1:48:18can't respond to yesterday's dealings.
1:48:21>> That's right.
1:48:22>> You're responding today to today's
1:48:24dealings. Dr. Summer made this
1:48:26statement, "Faith must be reborn every
1:48:28>> day."
1:48:29Yes.
1:48:30>> Faith must be reborn every day.
1:48:34>> When Oral Roberts said, "Every day
1:48:36miracles are coming to you or going past
1:48:38you."
1:48:39>> And when I was on the set, as I was
1:48:41saying, I think last night, Brother
1:48:43Copelan, I was on the set with him
1:48:45filming Believer's Voice of Victory, and
1:48:47I was telling the testimony of how God
1:48:49gave us a a house, and it was a miracle
1:48:51of how he did it. And brother Copeland
1:48:54said that be that doesn't happen because
1:48:55of a part-time faith. Right.
1:48:58>> Amen.
1:48:59>> That's a full-time faith.
1:49:01>> It's a full-time situation.
1:49:03>> Yeah. Amen.
1:49:04>> Yeah.
1:49:05>> And we can't treat this as a part-time
1:49:08situation.
1:49:09>> Yeah. Walking in God's power is a daily
1:49:12situation.
1:49:14uh when when uh you've heard me tell the
1:49:18the story of that girl in another
1:49:21country when she was 21 years old, had
1:49:24five children by then, was in that that
1:49:27catastrophic car accident,
1:49:29>> went through the windshield,
1:49:31>> the top of her head was cut off,
1:49:33>> and the frontal lobe fell out.
1:49:36>> Yes.
1:49:37>> Devastating. Yes.
1:49:38>> To her body.
1:49:39>> And when the medics arrived, the
1:49:41children were still alive. They saw she
1:49:44was dead. They just gathered up the
1:49:46parts of the brain there and just laid
1:49:48it by her and went and tended the
1:49:50children, took her to the morg, took the
1:49:52children to the hospital, called the
1:49:54mother and told what had happened in
1:49:56this car accident. She lived 12 hours
1:49:58away. And her response was that, "Oh,
1:50:01all she needs is a little bit of
1:50:02resurrection power."
1:50:07>> He she treated the power as greater than
1:50:09the catastrophe.
1:50:12Hallelujah.
1:50:13>> And so anyway, so the mother starts, she
1:50:17says, "I'll be there." She drives there
1:50:18and the whole time she's driving, she's
1:50:21releasing her faith in resurrection
1:50:23power. Father, I thank you that the
1:50:25power of God is right where she's at.
1:50:27>> Amen. And she's 12 hours of doing that
1:50:31>> and the the girl's body is in the morg
1:50:34and the young man who was in there doing
1:50:37paperwork at the time heard her b
1:50:39something move in her body bag
1:50:42>> and he just thought well that's just
1:50:44muscles you know
1:50:46>> and uh it but he kept hearing sounds so
1:50:50he went and unzipped it and she looked
1:50:52up at him. [laughter]
1:50:55Now that would give you a
1:51:07he regretted seeing her eyes open
1:51:11because he said to her, "Your body is a
1:51:14mess."
1:51:15>> Cuz that that frontal lobe is laying
1:51:18next to her in that body bag.
1:51:21But he had to transfer to the hospital
1:51:23and did. The mother walks in. She gets
1:51:27on the bed, straddles her, climbs up on
1:51:29the bed and straddles her and starts
1:51:31calling resurrection power forth.
1:51:34After a week, she's dismissed from the
1:51:36hospital. She comes out of a coma, but
1:51:39she comes back with the mentality of a
1:51:41four-year-old.
1:51:44And that mother took this daughter home
1:51:47and the five children, drove her back 12
1:51:49hours and every day that that daughter
1:51:52sat on the floor and played with her
1:51:54children with their mentality,
1:51:56>> with her mentality being at their level.
1:51:59>> But the mother just called for that
1:52:00power every day.
1:52:01>> See, this is a day. That's what I'm
1:52:03telling you. And after several months,
1:52:05she was back to herself. Amen.
1:52:08>> And whenever she went in her 50s for a
1:52:11new profession she was going to start,
1:52:13they required that she have a um a
1:52:17physical.
1:52:19And so they did all the tests that they
1:52:21run and they took different pictures and
1:52:23the doctor came into the room she was at
1:52:26to give her what he had found in the
1:52:28reports and he pulled up a chair in
1:52:29front of her and said, "You can't be
1:52:31alive."
1:52:33She said, "Why cannot be alive?" He
1:52:35said, "You have no frontal lobe in your
1:52:39head."
1:52:41>> God didn't replace it.
1:52:44>> The power didn't recreate it.
1:52:47>> That resurrection power became the
1:52:49frontal lobe.
1:52:51>> Why was that? Because the daily
1:52:55>> calling of this,
1:52:58>> she was living on daily resurrection
1:53:01power.
1:53:03>> Wow. See, this is what I'm talking
1:53:05about. Daily. Daily. And we're occupied
1:53:08with we want a miracle. But you, it
1:53:10comes from a daily skill. And that's
1:53:13what I was talking about with that
1:53:14person that had died, but they were
1:53:17trying to release their faith. They were
1:53:19trying to believe God. And God said the
1:53:20problem is there's no daily in their
1:53:23history.
1:53:26>> There was no daily faith. There was no
1:53:28daily saying. There was no daily taking
1:53:30authority. There was no daily resisting
1:53:32the devil. Then when they come to this
1:53:35season, they're trying to play catchup.
1:53:39>> Amen.
1:53:40>> Amen.
1:53:41>> And they don't know how to cooperate.
1:53:44They don't have the skill.
1:53:45>> Yes.
1:53:46>> It's not God withholding. God didn't
1:53:48withhold anything. There's no skill
1:53:49there.
1:53:52>> So, what am I saying? Put a demand that
1:53:55today I'm going to go further. Today I'm
1:53:58going to walk closer. Today I'm going to
1:54:00draw more nigh. Today I'm going to
1:54:02release my faith. Every day reach. Every
1:54:07day reach.
1:54:10>> Amen.
1:54:11>> Every day. Every day. Every
1:54:14>> day.
1:54:16>> Because you can have someone who does it
1:54:18right for a long time and for some
1:54:21reason they quit doing it right and they
1:54:23lose everything they did right.
1:54:25>> We've seen it.
1:54:27>> You've seen it with people.
1:54:30And the bad thing is is when they get in
1:54:32the final season of their harvest years,
1:54:33when they should be living on harvest,
1:54:35they're living on devastation of having
1:54:38abandoned a daily lifestyle.
1:54:43>> Well, praise the Lord.
1:54:45>> Take up your cross
1:54:47daily.
1:54:49>> We We have to practice saying no to
1:54:51ourselves
1:54:52>> daily. Why? Because if we'll say no to
1:54:55us, we come into his great yes. Amen.
1:55:00>> That's right.
1:55:01>> That's right.
1:55:04>> You understand that?
1:55:06>> Saying yes to us is a saying no to him.
1:55:10>> But if we'll say no to wrong thinking, a
1:55:13no to our own ambition. We come into the
1:55:16yes that pleases him that he's already
1:55:18authored for us. We can trust him to
1:55:21abandon lay down everything we ever
1:55:23dreamed for ourselves because what he
1:55:25dreamed will take us so much further.
1:55:27That's right.
1:55:28>> When I said to God, I said, "God," I
1:55:30said, "I know that you have traveling in
1:55:32other countries in the plan for me." I
1:55:34said, "I didn't plan that for me. I'd be
1:55:37okay without that.
1:55:39>> There's others who would love it. Give
1:55:40it to them."
1:55:41>> Yeah.
1:55:43>> And I said, "I never desired that." I
1:55:45said, "Why is it that that's part of the
1:55:47plan for me?" He said, "Because I desire
1:55:49more for you than you desire for you."
1:55:52>> Amen. Yes.
1:55:53>> See, you think he's trying to put a
1:55:55hardship on you when he's really trying
1:55:56to give you more than you ever would
1:55:58have experienced without his plan coming
1:56:00in.
1:56:02>> Walking with him is daily. Faith is
1:56:04daily. Everything. It's a daily flow. If
1:56:07we're not careful, we hear testimonies
1:56:09of great moments in people's life and we
1:56:11we strive for moments. Don't strive for
1:56:13moments. Strive for daily.
1:56:17>> It's day daily doing right that
1:56:19culminates in moments.
1:56:22Yeah, that's right.
1:56:23>> That's right.
1:56:24>> Joseph had to do the right thing every
1:56:26day in prison. He couldn't just do the
1:56:27right thing the day that Pharaoh sent
1:56:29for him.
1:56:30>> Right. Right. Right. Right.
1:56:31>> Or he would have been unprepared.
1:56:33>> That's right.
1:56:34>> To be prime minister running the economy
1:56:36of the greatest nation on earth by the
1:56:37time he's 30. Are you kidding me?
1:56:40>> Money had no hold on this 30 year old.
1:56:43He had complete mastery
1:56:45>> over his passions
1:56:47>> and appetites because for 12 years he
1:56:50was down in that prison, God was
1:56:53preparing him for greatness.
1:56:55>> Hallelujah.
1:56:55>> In an unspiritual setting.
1:56:57>> Come on.
1:56:58>> Hallelujah.
1:56:59>> Hallelujah.
1:57:00>> Praise God.
1:57:01>> You don't prepare for greatness sitting
1:57:02in a church.
1:57:04>> Come on.
1:57:06>> You prepare for greatness in how you
1:57:08treat your spouse, how you talk to them,
1:57:11>> how you handle your children. Those are
1:57:12your preparing places.
1:57:14>> Amen.
1:57:14>> Amen.
1:57:15>> God's not preparing you publicly.
1:57:17>> He's preparing you privately. So what
1:57:19you look at in private is the real
1:57:22>> degree and level of your skill.
1:57:24>> That's right.
1:57:25>> Amen.
1:57:26>> Amen.
1:57:27>> Amen.
1:57:27>> Everybody I I I've said this and I I've
1:57:30taught this to some of our ministers is
1:57:32everybody
1:57:34looks looks good for the king.
1:57:38Come on.
1:57:40>> Come on.
1:57:41>> And I've told staff, I'd say, when I'm
1:57:43I'm looking to place someone in a
1:57:45position, hire someone, I don't I go I
1:57:48don't ask my staff always. I ask other
1:57:51congregation members, tell me about this
1:57:53person that you serve with.
1:57:55>> Because I always get the I get the
1:57:58king's view.
1:58:00>> They're showing me their best. They're
1:58:02not going to show the pastor their
1:58:03worst. They're going to show them their
1:58:04best, but I'm not getting a true view.
1:58:08>> So I go ask, who gets the daily view of
1:58:10this person? I need the daily view of
1:58:12this person, not the king's view.
1:58:16>> Very good.
1:58:17>> You say, why do you call it the king's
1:58:18view? Because when Jehoshaphat, they
1:58:21were faced with enemy armies.
1:58:23Jehoshaphat consulted with the people.
1:58:26Then he appointed praisers.
1:58:28>> That's right.
1:58:28>> Why? Because everyone looks like a
1:58:30praiser when the king's watching them.
1:58:32Amen.
1:58:34>> So it says he consulted with the people
1:58:36then he appointed praisers because the
1:58:38people knows who praise every day
1:58:44>> cuz he needed someone who had the skill
1:58:46of praising because those praisers were
1:58:48the first ones to see the enemy.
1:58:50>> He had to have praisers that knew how to
1:58:52see the enemy and not run
1:58:55>> because their only weapon was praise.
1:59:00>> That's what I'm saying. Everyone sees
1:59:02the king's the as a pastor I saw the
1:59:05king's view
1:59:06>> showing me what no one's going to show
1:59:08me.
1:59:09>> Yeah,
1:59:10>> the struggle side of them. So, I'm going
1:59:12to go to others who see the daily side.
1:59:15>> That's right.
1:59:16>> You understand that?
1:59:17>> And then I'm going to find out what can
1:59:19I do with this person. Yeah.
1:59:21>> When my husband went to his pastor the
1:59:24day he got saved, saved [snorts] in the
1:59:26Sunday morning service, went that night
1:59:29to church and said, "I've lived for 25
1:59:31years for the devil. Now that I'm born
1:59:33again, I want to do something for Jesus.
1:59:35What can I do for Jesus?" He said, "We
1:59:38have no one to clean the toilets."
1:59:39What's that mean? A whole congregation
1:59:41told God, "No,
1:59:45>> yes."
1:59:45>> And Ed said, "That'll be my job." Why
1:59:48did they tell him no? because privately
1:59:51we were seeing their daily
1:59:57>> there was the reason my my husband
2:00:00carried the anointing he carried was
2:00:02because he knew nothing was beneath him
2:00:04to do
2:00:06>> he knew that it wasn't the task that
2:00:08made him look honorable it was his honor
2:00:10that brought honor to the task
2:00:13>> it elevated the task
2:00:16>> do whatever is in front of you daily to
2:00:19Whether anyone notices, whether anyone
2:00:21sees it, just do what is right.
2:00:25>> If you go shopping with me through
2:00:27Target or through any other place and I
2:00:29see clothes off the hanger, I can't help
2:00:32but straighten them up. I'm sorry.
2:00:34>> That bothers me. Huh? [laughter]
2:00:36>> I'm not auditioning for a job,
2:00:41>> but I've trained my eye to see things.
2:00:44And I go around and I fix things.
2:00:48It Let me tell you something.
2:00:50>> I could I could straighten out the racks
2:00:52real quick. [laughter]
2:00:55>> It it it takes everything I can to not
2:00:57stand there and just redo it.
2:00:59>> Why? Because it's a daily training. I
2:01:02see it. Train yourself in the daily.
2:01:06>> And it's the menial tasks
2:01:09>> that great tasks are comprised of.
2:01:15>> Amen.
2:01:16Take up your cross
2:01:18>> daily.
2:01:19>> Daily. Say no to you daily. Say yes to
2:01:22God daily.
2:01:23>> Say no to your flesh daily. Say yes to
2:01:26God daily. Amen.
2:01:27>> Amen.
2:01:28>> This is where this is this is where God
2:01:31is building us is in the
2:01:34>> in the daily. Amen.
2:01:36>> Exercise your faith today.
2:01:39>> Amen.
2:01:39>> Say no. Resist the devil today. Yeah.
2:01:42Yes.
2:01:43>> All your days have to be full of
2:01:44resisting, receiving every
2:01:46>> day.
2:01:48>> Amen.
2:01:49>> Faith life is a daily life.
2:01:52>> Hallelujah.
2:01:53>> Hallelujah.
2:01:54>> If not careful, we just hear testimonies
2:01:56of greatness and think it's moments and
2:01:58it's not moments. Moments came because
2:02:01of daily.
2:02:02>> Daily.
2:02:03>> Amen.
2:02:05>> Joseph on the throne of Egypt because of
2:02:08daily 12 years in the prison. Amen.
2:02:11>> Right.
2:02:12>> You understand that?
2:02:14>> God sees us daily. So it does matter
2:02:17>> how you handle your body daily.
2:02:19>> Heaven watches.
2:02:20>> Amen.
2:02:21>> Heaven watches and knows how far it can
2:02:23take us. Amen.
2:02:24>> Well, are you helped tonight?
2:02:28>> Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord.
2:02:30>> Just stand with me if you would. Father,
2:02:32we thank you today for not leaving us
2:02:35like you found us.
2:02:38Can I tell you this? The word says that
2:02:41rebellion is as the sin of what?
2:02:44>> Are you kidding me?
2:02:46>> Listen to that. Rebellion
2:02:49is as the sin of witchcraft. I mean,
2:02:51none of us would say, you know, uh, I'm
2:02:54going to set this
2:02:57uh, symbol in front of me and I'm going
2:02:58to bow down to it. I'm going to put a
2:03:00idol here and I'm going to bow down to
2:03:02it and then I'm going to send a I'm
2:03:04going to get me a voodoo doll and start
2:03:06poking. None of us would say that. But
2:03:09God says your rebellion is equal to you
2:03:11doing that.
2:03:14>> Why is rebellion as the sin of
2:03:16witchcraft? Because rebellion,
2:03:18witchcraft is uh worshiping something
2:03:21other than God.
2:03:24>> And rebellion is you worshiping your
2:03:27plan, your
2:03:30>> desire, and you're putting you before
2:03:32God. And God says that is the same thing
2:03:35as someone who practices witchcraft
2:03:37because you put you before me
2:03:41>> just like they have put something else
2:03:43in witchcraft before me.
2:03:48>> Wow.
2:03:50>> That's how that's how
2:03:52>> uh difficult.
2:03:54>> Yes.
2:03:54>> That's how u how God sees
2:03:58>> not putting him first in our life.
2:04:01>> Yeah.
2:04:02Well, praise the Lord.
2:04:05>> We just daily
2:04:07>> we daily daily.
2:04:12>> And if you didn't do it right today, you
2:04:14got the rest of today.
2:04:20>> And don't let how you did it wrong keep
2:04:22you from doing it right today. Forget
2:04:24it. Forget yesterday cuz today is a
2:04:28brand new chance. Yes.
2:04:31>> Amen.
2:04:32>> Amen.
2:04:32>> Hallelujah.
2:04:33>> Hallelujah.
2:04:35>> Hallelujah.
2:04:36>> Sing something. David, help us. [music]
2:04:41>> We'll just try to find this. Every day
2:04:46I'll walk [music] with you.
2:04:51Every day
2:04:53I'll walk with you.
2:04:59When I take up the cross,

2:06:57Every day [singing]
2:07:00I follow [music]
2:07:03you.
2:07:05And he walks with me. And he talks
2:07:09[music]
2:07:10with me. You know it. and deep [singing]
2:07:14[music]
2:07:18>> and the joy we share.
2:07:21>> And the [music] joy
2:07:24we share
2:07:24>> as we t there
2:07:26>> as we
2:07:28[music]
2:07:35[music and singing]
2:07:36>> just sing that one more time. And he
2:07:38walks with me.
2:07:40>> [singing]
2:07:40>> And he [music] walks with me. And he
2:07:46talks
2:07:48with me. [singing]
2:07:50And he tells
2:07:53me [music] I am his [singing] own.
2:07:59And [music] the joy
2:08:02we share
2:08:05as [music] we
2:08:09[singing]
2:08:10never another [music]
2:08:18I will take [music] up
2:08:21this [singing] cross
2:08:24all to gain
2:08:26nothing [singing and music] lost.
2:08:29Every day
2:08:32I'll walk [singing]
2:08:34with you.
2:08:37[music]
2:08:38Every [singing] day
2:08:41I'll walk with you. [singing]
2:08:48>> Tomorrow night, [music]
2:08:50anyone who needs healing, we're going to
2:08:52minister to them. But if you're here
2:08:54tonight and you say, "I can't be [music]
2:08:55here tomorrow night and this is my last
2:08:57night." We want to make sure that if you
2:09:00came to have hands laid on you that we
2:09:02take that opportunity to do that.
2:09:04[music] So if you say, "I want hands
2:09:06laid on me for healing." Raise [music]
2:09:08your hand if you would. Is there anyone
2:09:11here? Yeah. Come on up if you would,
2:09:13those of you.
2:09:15Hallelujah. How [music] many of you know
2:09:17healing is a lifestyle?
2:09:21>> And it's something we practice. You have
2:09:23to be You [music] have to practice these
2:09:25flows. Amen.
2:09:26>> Amen.
2:09:28Hallelujah. Come on up if you [music]
2:09:29would.
2:09:38[music]
2:09:48[music]
2:09:50>> Hi love. How are you?
2:09:52>> Love you father.
2:09:53>> Oh man. Thank you love. [music] We love
2:09:55you. Glad you're here.
2:09:58Hallelujah. [music] Congregation, it
2:10:00matters to us that they receive, right?
2:10:03>> Doesn't it matter? Yeah. So, would you
2:10:05release your faith with us? Amen.
2:10:07[music]
2:10:08God has an extraordinary system in
2:10:10place. And his system is this. Pray one
2:10:13for another that you may be [music]
2:10:15healed. What's he do? He links our
2:10:17healing to others.
2:10:20>> [music]
2:10:20>> that when we sew our faith to someone
2:10:23else's healing, it'll boomerang back and
2:10:25start [music] affecting our own. Isn't
2:10:28that the way Job's life was put back on
2:10:30course and restored [music] when he
2:10:31prayed for his friends and then it was
2:10:34restored? It boomeranged back in his
2:10:36life and God put back double. Why?
2:10:39Because uh we h it needs to matter to us
2:10:43what happens to our brothers [music] and
2:10:44sisters. We're not independent of them,
2:10:47right? So, we release our faith with
2:10:49these, don't we? Hallelujah. What is it
2:10:52that you need, love, for him? Okay. What
2:10:54is it you need?
2:10:55>> Um, I'm deaf in my right ear.
2:10:57>> Deaf in your right ear. Yeah. [music] Is
2:10:59that been a shortterm, long-term thing?
2:11:01>> I had surgery.
2:11:02>> You had surgery and it and a tumor there
2:11:05[music]
2:11:06>> and after they was the deafness before
2:11:08they removed the tumor after after.
2:11:11Yeah.
2:11:11>> [music]
2:11:12>> You know, thank God, you know, medical
2:11:14tries to help us, but sometimes it
2:11:16leaves its mark of help,
2:11:19right? Yeah. So, Father, we thank you
2:11:21for recreating and restoring. I command
2:11:24that deaf spirit come out in Jesus'
2:11:27name. And I thank you, Father, for
2:11:29wholeness [snorts] in Jesus' name. We
2:11:32thank you for restoring. Restoring. What
2:11:36about you, love? [music]
2:11:38>> Headaches.
2:11:39>> Headaches. Yeah. Father, we thank you.
2:11:42What needs to be adjusted? [music] What
2:11:44needs to be made right? Every bit of
2:11:45that go from her in Jesus name and don't
2:11:48come back. What about you, love?
2:11:50>> I just need my my strength and stamina.
2:11:54>> Uhhuh.
2:11:54>> All that to come back to
2:11:57>> God's heal me.
2:11:58>> Yeah. Father,
2:11:59>> I need to be that restored.
2:12:00>> Yeah. Father, we thank you.
2:12:02>> That you make all [music] things new and
2:12:04we take it. We thank you for strength
2:12:08flowing into his body. Ref there. There
2:12:11goes that anointing in. [music] There
2:12:12goes that anointing in you, love.
2:12:14[snorts] What about you, love?
2:12:17>> Uh-huh.
2:12:20>> I just got out.
2:12:23[music]
2:12:23>> Gotcha. Do you go to church somewhere?
2:12:27>> Are you in this Are Where do you live?
2:12:29[music]
2:12:29What region?
2:12:30>> Well, not that far from Iowa.
2:12:32>> How far are you from this church? 15
2:12:35minutes.
2:12:36>> 15 minutes.
2:12:37>> I'm just telling you, this is a fine
2:12:39church. [music]
2:12:40>> Because you're going to hear the word.
2:12:42>> Yes.
2:12:43>> And it's the word that shows us the
2:12:46right way to think.
2:12:47>> Yeah.
2:12:47>> And it [music] helps us to um
2:12:51recognize
2:12:54truth that blesses us
2:12:56>> or troubling that that robs from us. So
2:13:02sit under the [music] word. Would you do
2:13:03that? get in a local church. There's a
2:13:05there's a divine help that comes through
2:13:07[music] the office of the pastor that
2:13:09will come through no other outlet.
2:13:11>> It's true.
2:13:11>> Amen.
2:13:12>> So, um the thing that we every one of us
2:13:17have a mind.
2:13:18>> Yeah. [music]
2:13:19>> And we never get away from it.
2:13:21>> Yeah.
2:13:22>> So, we might as well have a mind we can
2:13:24[music] live with,
2:13:26>> right?
2:13:27>> Yes.
2:13:28>> Yeah.
2:13:29>> And so, the pastoral office teaches
2:13:31[music] you what to do with that mind.
2:13:33Yes.
2:13:34>> Because our mind is a sound mind is part
2:13:37of our inheritance in Christ.
2:13:39>> Yeah. [music]
2:13:40>> Yeah. And he wants your mind peaceful.
2:13:43>> Yeah.
2:13:43>> Yeah. And uh you ever seen a car that
2:13:47needed jump starting? [music]
2:13:48>> Yeah.
2:13:49>> The battery died. I'm going to lay my
2:13:51hands on you and it'll be a jump start,
2:13:53so to speak. [music] But my dad, when I
2:13:55was growing up, he took me out when I
2:13:57first started driving and he showed me
2:13:59how to jump start [music] a car. Yeah.
2:14:01And he said, "After you jump start that
2:14:04car, the car has to stay running.
2:14:06[music]
2:14:07You can't turn it off." So, I'm going to
2:14:09lay my hands on you. Power is going to
2:14:11flow, [music] but you have to keep that
2:14:13flowing.
2:14:14>> And you do that, you're helped in doing
2:14:16that by coming to a local church and
2:14:18feeding on the word, [music] taking in
2:14:20that instruction because God doesn't
2:14:22just want your battery jump started. He
2:14:24wants it to run [music] right.
2:14:25>> Yes, ma'am.
2:14:26>> Does that make sense to you? Yeah. And
2:14:28it's our safety and it's it's [music]
2:14:30God's way of helping us. Yeah. Father,
2:14:34we thank you
2:14:36for [music] peace in the mind belongs to
2:14:38her. Oh, there goes that anointing in
2:14:41Satan. You take your hands off her mind.
2:14:43Father, I thank you for that anointing
2:14:45[music]
2:14:46that sets her free, making her whole and
2:14:50helping her to grow in Jesus.
2:14:52[music and singing]
2:14:54There goes in you, love. You sense that
2:14:57power going in you? Yeah.
2:14:59>> Yeah. That's divine help. You walk out
2:15:03of this place, don't [music] don't check
2:15:05your mind. Check your mouth. Say,
2:15:07"Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord.
2:15:09Praise the Lord." Cuz the devil wants to
2:15:11[music] get you entrenched in that
2:15:12mental arena. Leave it. And the way you
2:15:15leave it is you put your attention on
2:15:17him and off of what's troubled [music]
2:15:19you. Okay? You don't have to try to be
2:15:21free. That anointing makes you free.
2:15:23>> Amen.
2:15:23>> Amen. Thank you, Father, for peace.
2:15:26She'll sleep better tonight than she's
2:15:28ever slept before. [music]
2:15:31There will be an overnight change in her
2:15:34precious life. [music]
2:15:36And you empower and strengthener for the
2:15:39daily victory.
2:15:41Daily victory in her mind. Daily victory
2:15:45in her mind. Hallelujah. Every one of us
2:15:48have to learn it. [music] Every one of
2:15:50So, thank you for coming tonight. We're
2:15:52glad you came.
2:15:53I can't.
2:15:54>> Yeah. Because it's a daily thing, isn't
2:15:56it?
2:15:57>> It's daily. It is [music] not daily
2:15:59hardness,
2:16:00>> but a daily drawing on him.
2:16:03>> Okay. Yeah. That anointing went in you,
2:16:05love. You're so welcome. I'm so glad you
2:16:07[music] came. See, see, see these
2:16:10pastors over here. I would highly
2:16:12recommend. I would highly recommend
2:16:15[music] them.
2:16:19Hallelujah. What is it with you, love?
2:16:21Um, I [music] have swelling everywhere
2:16:23and pain.
2:16:24>> Yeah.
2:16:24>> So, I just I'm so sick of it.
2:16:26>> Do you know what it what it's due to or
2:16:27how long you've had it?
2:16:28>> Had it for 20, 30 years.
2:16:33>> Yeah.
2:16:34>> It's just gotten more painful.
2:16:35>> Yeah. [music] I'm so sick of looking.
2:16:37>> Father, we thank you for divine help,
2:16:41for wholeness. Every bit of [music]
2:16:43There goes that anointing in you, love.
2:16:45[singing] Every bit of it leave, be
2:16:47restored, be made [music] whole in the
2:16:50name of Jesus. What about it with you,
2:16:52love?
2:16:52>> Oh, I've had migraines since I was
2:16:54migraines since I was a child. That's
2:16:56since a child. Not in control.
2:16:59>> Yeah. [music]
2:16:59>> But I still get headaches and part of it
2:17:01is due, I think, to my should my
2:17:04shoulders.
2:17:04>> Yeah.
2:17:05>> And I'm going to get it checked out.
2:17:08Father, we thank you [music]
2:17:10for every bit of that to go. Uh, and
2:17:13everything be made right. Everything
2:17:16connected with it, [music] be made right
2:17:18in Jesus' name. We thank you for it,
2:17:22Father. Be whole in his name. [music]
2:17:25Be whole in his name. What about you,
2:17:28love?
2:17:29>> You're so welcome, love.
2:17:32>> Yeah. Yeah. Father, we thank [music] you
2:17:36for making that whole. Every bit of
2:17:37that, there goes that anointing in you.
2:17:39There it goes in you, love. We [music]
2:17:42thank you for it, Father.
2:17:45We thank you for it, Father.
2:17:48>> Hello, love. How are you?
2:17:50>> How did you grow up so quick? How does
2:17:52this happen?
2:17:55>> I know it, right? What is [music] it you
2:17:57need? Uh, so I had surgery already for
2:17:59this and I'm going to have the second
2:18:00surgery
2:18:01>> and I'm praying that it heals perfectly
2:18:03[music] where there's just a line.
2:18:05>> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. God knows how to
2:18:07that that was a remark. I don't know if
2:18:09you know this but part of I don't know
2:18:11if [music] you remember this Pastor Jay
2:18:13in Ed's ministry scars completely
2:18:15disappeared. That was an earmark of his
2:18:18ministry. Yeah. That it matters to God.
2:18:23Father we thank you for [music] complete
2:18:25wholeness. We thank you Lord. [singing]
2:18:28>> Every bit of it made right in Jesus'
2:18:31name. [music] And Father, according to
2:18:33her faith, so be it done unto her in
2:18:36Jesus' name. We thank you for it,
2:18:38Father. Hallelujah. We thank you for it,
2:18:41Father. You know, [music]
2:18:44one of the testimonies I appreciate so
2:18:47much that I heard John Ostein tell
2:18:49about, there was a woman that came to
2:18:51his [music] church. She was raised
2:18:53denominational. She had never heard of
2:18:55healing, but she had a she was maybe in
2:19:00her late 20s, early 30s, and she had a
2:19:02child that ended up being crippled from
2:19:05birth, had never walked, and she started
2:19:07coming to his church and hearing about
2:19:09healing.
2:19:11And
2:19:12>> [music]
2:19:12>> uh she had to this little boy who's
2:19:14about 6 years old or so, he's in a
2:19:16wheelchair, lives in a wheelchair.
2:19:19And so she just started every day
2:19:21releasing her faith. [music] And she
2:19:24said it that every day she would pull
2:19:27him out. She decided for an hour a day,
2:19:30pull him out of the wheelchair, put him
2:19:32on his tummy, and she'd just pull him
2:19:33along the floor. And it was playtime to
2:19:36him, but the whole time she's thanking
2:19:38God. Thank you, Father, that he walks.
2:19:42Thank you that he walks. Thank you for
2:19:44wholeness. And she'd do that for an hour
2:19:46a day, praising God. [music] Thanking
2:19:48God. Praising God. Thanking God. She did
2:19:52that for the first month, second month,
2:19:54third month, fourth, fifth, [music]
2:19:566th, 7th, 8th, 9, 10, 11, 12. Looks
2:20:01[music] like nothing's working,
2:20:02nothing's changing. It's a lot of time,
2:20:07365 hours, [music]
2:20:10nothing changes. And in that 13th month,
2:20:13she went to pick him up out of his
2:20:14wheelchair again. And this day, he
2:20:16jumped out.
2:20:18She did daily [music]
2:20:20>> until her her faith had such a skill.
2:20:24>> That it could receive that degree of
2:20:26power.
2:20:28>> Wasn't God getting her to earn it. It
2:20:30was the skill of cooperating, skill, not
2:20:33giving up.
2:20:34>> George Mueller made this statement. He
2:20:36says, "I see with most people," he said,
2:20:38"the problem is they give up."
2:20:39>> Yes.
2:20:40>> They give up. Why? Because the daily got
2:20:42too daily for them. [music and singing]
2:20:44>> Right? Can I tell you the best children
2:20:47are the ones who have been uh
2:20:50consistently and daily addressed.
2:20:53>> You can't address a child weekly
2:20:56>> and arrive at the highest version of
2:20:58that child
2:21:00>> to daily.
2:21:01>> But yet when it comes to spiritual
2:21:03things, we want to be random.
2:21:06>> We go to work daily. [music]
2:21:09>> Kids go to school daily. But when it
2:21:12comes to spiritual things, people are
2:21:14random
2:21:15>> and then wonder [music] why it doesn't
2:21:16work.
2:21:18>> Yeah.
2:21:19>> When a hair dryer that you use daily
2:21:21gets more faithfulness out of you,
2:21:26>> turn it on daily, right? Something's
2:21:29off, [music] right?
2:21:30>> Yeah.
2:21:30>> But we expect God to work automatically
2:21:33daily without us doing something daily.
2:21:36But it's a daily cooperation, not an
2:21:38earning,
2:21:39>> a daily cooperation.
2:21:41[music]
2:21:42>> Amen. It's our lifestyle.
2:21:44>> It's the way we live. It's the way we
2:21:46live. And people [music] don't employ it
2:21:48because it just looks so daily.
2:21:51>> But that's that's where the success
2:21:53lives [music] in the daily.
2:21:54>> Amen.
2:21:55>> Success lives in the daily.
2:21:57>> Amen.
2:21:58>> Amen.
2:22:00>> Uh when [music] believing God for
2:22:02miracles for this revival, then it
2:22:04matters what we do daily. Cuz
2:22:07these aren't just they're not just
2:22:08reserved for the era. It's a daily skill
2:22:11that has to be cooperated with and
2:22:14learned so that the things can happen.
2:22:17Amen. Hallelujah.
2:22:19>> Hallelujah.
2:22:19>> Praise the Lord. Father, we thank you.
2:22:21We thank you. [music] We thank you. And
2:22:24I want you to say this. God said in in
2:22:26that price of the double portion
2:22:28anointing, Jesus said to me
2:22:31where it says, "Take my yoke upon you.
2:22:33It's light and my my yoke is easy. My
2:22:36burden is light.
2:22:38He said, "Meditate much,
2:22:41>> yes,
2:22:41>> on the lightness and the ease of my
2:22:44yoke."
2:22:44>> Amen.
2:22:45>> He said, "You'll have to meditate on
2:22:47that." Why? Because the world and the
2:22:48devil and self will paint this as hard
2:22:54>> and that there's struggle involved.
2:22:55There's not to be struggle involved.
2:22:57[music] There's not to be struggle
2:22:58involved because he did the hard part.
2:23:01He left us the light and easy part.
2:23:03[music]
2:23:03Taking up your cross is not a struggle.
2:23:06Taking up your cross, it's a joy to say,
2:23:09"I thank God I don't have to make this
2:23:10happen myself.
2:23:12>> I yield. I lay down everything of self
2:23:14that would get in the way of him."
2:23:16[music]
2:23:16>> Amen.
2:23:17>> Everything.
2:23:19And if you ever listen to Katherryn
2:23:21Coleman, she'd say, "I die before every
2:23:24service." Well, what's she saying? She's
2:23:26saying, "I recognize it's not me, it's
2:23:28him."
2:23:28>> Amen.
2:23:29>> It's not me, it's him. But some have
2:23:31made it that treat it like they're being
2:23:33martyed.
2:23:35>> It's not a martyrdom. It's a lifting.
2:23:37>> Amen. It's a lifting.
2:23:38>> It's a lifting.
2:23:40>> Amen. Hallelujah. Father, we thank you.
2:23:42We [music] thank you for helping us. We
2:23:45thank you for helping us. We take our
2:23:48place. And every place that you set us
2:23:51is because you ple you were pleased for
2:23:53us to set us in that place. And we're
2:23:54pleased to be in the place you [music]
2:23:57have for us. And if that place starts
2:23:59looking different at different seasons
2:24:01in our life, we're pleased with that as
2:24:02well. [music]
2:24:04>> Wherever you lead us, where your plan
2:24:06takes us, we're pleased to be there,
2:24:08>> and we thank you for it. And everybody
2:24:10said,
2:24:11>> "Thank you, pastor."
2:24:14>> Hallelujah.
2:24:17I have no words.
2:24:19Amazing. Wonderful. Praise God. [music]
2:24:22You can be seated.
2:24:24We have not received Pastor NY's love
2:24:28offering this evening because
2:24:30[clears throat] of the order order of
2:24:31service at the beginning. So, we're
2:24:33going to receive that right now. You
2:24:34might say, "Well, I gave yesterday."
2:24:36Well, what did we hear tonight?
2:24:38[clears throat]
2:24:40Cast your bread upon the waters and
2:24:42it'll come back to you on every wave.
2:24:45How many of you like it coming back on
2:24:47every wave? Well, then we we sew
2:24:49regularly. We sow regularly to daily.
2:24:52Hallelujah. So, if you're giving tonight
2:24:54to Pastor NY's ministry, you don't have
2:24:56to make it out to her. It's much easier
2:24:58for her if you make the [music] checks
2:25:00out to the church, uh, Spirit of Faith
2:25:03Family Church, and, uh, we'll collect
2:25:05all those and put it in one big check.
2:25:07Amen. And if you're giving
2:25:08electronically, you know how to do that.
2:25:10Or if you want to sign up, the QR codes
2:25:12on the screen. Um,
2:25:16you know, um,
2:25:18you I just appreciate the consecration
2:25:21message that pastor carries. Don't you
2:25:23appreciate that? Aren't you glad?
2:25:25There's more to the Bible than just, you
2:25:27know, one side of things. Amen.
2:25:30Hallelujah. And really, if you think
2:25:32about the I'm just giving you time if
2:25:33you're making out checks. Um um if you
2:25:36think about it um you know when Jesus
2:25:39asked that rich young ruler [music] to
2:25:42uh take another step into the plan that
2:25:44God had for him. How many remember that
2:25:45man? What was that? Luke 10 I believe.
2:25:47Um he was not taking something from him.
2:25:52How many of you know Jesus later cuz the
2:25:54disciples said uh and he was calling him
2:25:56to a higher level of consecration. Take
2:25:59a step into the next thing I have for
2:26:01you. And uh Jesus, you know, the man
2:26:04went went away sad and uh the disciples
2:26:07said, "Listen, we've done what you've
2:26:08said. What's going to happen?" He said,
2:26:09"There's no man that's not left houses,
2:26:12lands, mothers, fathers for my sake or
2:26:13the gospels." In other words, because
2:26:15the plan called for something, [music]
2:26:17we set something aside so that we could
2:26:19fulfill the plan. He said, "Doing that
2:26:22doesn't make you a victim."
2:26:25He said, "You'll get you'll get a
2:26:26hundfold."
2:26:28You know what that is? That's full
2:26:29potential of the blessings of God.
2:26:30Sometimes people want full potential,
2:26:32but they're not ready for the full
2:26:34consecration.
2:26:36I'm interested in the full con I'm
2:26:38interested in the full potential. So I
2:26:41want the whole rounded message,
2:26:43you know, the whole rounded message. So
2:26:45we we heard that tonight. We heard this
2:26:47side of it tonight. You ready to give
2:26:49tonight? Praise God for the word. Father
2:26:52God, thank you so much. [music] Your
2:26:54word is life to us. It's refreshing our
2:26:57to our spirits. It's it's answers. It
2:26:59brings us into the flow of the greater
2:27:01that you have for us. And Father, we
2:27:04choose that flow daily as we heard
2:27:05tonight. We choose today to sew into
2:27:07Pastor NY's ministry as well. We're so
2:27:10grateful, Father, for her obedience,
2:27:12Father. Her her just the the things she
2:27:15preached tonight. It's evident evidence
2:27:17to us that it's her lifestyle. It's not
2:27:19just a sermon. It's her lifestyle. We're
2:27:21so thankful for that kind of safety of
2:27:24sitting under that kind of ministry
2:27:26where it's safe. Uh we're so thankful,
2:27:28Father, and we thank you for the
2:27:30privilege and the honor we have tonight
2:27:31of sewing and giving and blessing what
2:27:34she's putting her hand to. And we thank
2:27:36you, Father God, for the harvest off of
2:27:38all that we sow in Jesus' name. Amen.
2:27:43Amen. Go ahead, ushers.
2:27:46Hallelujah. We got fed well tonight.
2:27:50Don't forget tomorrow morning, where
2:27:52where are we going to be tomorrow
2:27:53morning at 10:00? Anybody know? 10:00
2:27:56right here. uh service in the morning.
2:27:58Pastor Ike Akabogu is going to be
2:28:01preaching in the morning.
2:28:03Amen. And uh so thankful for him. We got
2:28:07he he was at the church when we came
2:28:09here to pastor and came up to me and
2:28:12wanted me to speak into his life as a
2:28:14minister. He wanted to be a spiritual
2:28:16son. I said, I I told the Lord, you
2:28:18know, that's I've heard that before. You
2:28:19know, people want to be spiritual sons.
2:28:22And they didn't know what it meant. But
2:28:24anyway, he knew what it meant. and uh
2:28:26he's been faithful. Praise God. They
2:28:28pastor over in Nigeria and uh so he's
2:28:31going to be up in the morning.
2:28:33Hallelujah. So thankful for him. And
2:28:36then tomorrow night, right? 7:00, right?
2:28:39Tomorrow night right here, 7:00, Pastor
2:28:41Nancy will be ministering. And uh we're
2:28:43ready for all that God has for us
2:28:45tomorrow. Hallelujah. Cuz we want a we
2:28:48want daily
2:28:50>> [music]
2:28:50>> uh word. Amen. All right, you the
2:28:53buckets have gone by. Stand up with me
2:28:55to your feet this evening. Uh turn to
2:28:58your neighbor and greet them and say,
2:29:00"Thank God for the what we heard
2:29:02tonight."
2:29:05And we're walking in the light of it.
2:29:07We'll see you in the morning. You're
2:29:08dismissed.
2:29:11[music]
