0:00Hey guys, welcome to a new video. So, I
0:02don't know about you, but it feels like
0:04a very volatile time in the market at
0:06the moment. We've got the NASDAQ down
0:08almost a percent, we've got the S&P down
0:10almost 3/4 of a percent. We've got new
0:13PMI data uh that's just been released
0:16coming in extremely hot, which is
0:18actually I'll show it to you here. It's
0:20expectations were 55.7. This is PMI, so
0:24it's like the manufacturing data. It's
0:25like almost how good the economy is
0:27doing. um expectations 55.7, it came in
0:31at 58.7. You'd think, well, that's
0:33awesome. The economy is doing well. Uh
0:35manufacturing data is is on the up and
0:38this guy's like send markets higher now.
0:40But it's almost came in too strong
0:42because what that means is the Fed can
0:44now actually push rates even higher.
0:46There's potentially more uh increase for
0:49inflation. They can push rates higher.
0:51And so it can also be a bad It's kind of
0:53like good news is bad news, bad news is
0:55good news sometimes in the markets. very
0:57weird. And that's of course impacted
1:0010-year Treasury yields. So, Treasury
1:02yields have gone through the roof. So,
1:04that's impacting inflation and potential
1:07rate hikes and there's also the conflict
1:10with Iran and Iran have come out and
1:12said, um, you know, we we're not going
1:14to sit around this US pressure. So,
1:16oil's gone up. So, it's just absolutely
1:17all over the place. So, oil's gone up. I
1:20think uh yeah, that was up yesterday. It
1:23was up 2.33%. Now, the NASDAQ down
1:26obviously. Bitcoin is down from what 86
1:2887,000 that's gone down. Everything's
1:30gone down a little bit. Very volatile
1:32kind of day. Um so yeah, but there are
1:35potentially some opportunities and I did
1:37make another buy yesterday in
1:39yesterday's trading session. Um so I'll
1:41let you know what that buy is and I'll
1:43also take you through another
1:45opportunity score this time for the
1:47single stock ETFs because I think there
1:48are some really good especially with
1:50this little pullback. there are some
1:52very nice opportunities still in the
1:54market because if you you know look at
1:56the fear and greed index we're in 35
1:58we're in fear so potentially some good
2:00opportunities if you go by the fear and
2:01greed index which I would like to
2:04because even though the NASDAQ and S&P
2:06500 might still be at near all-time
2:08highs this implies that there is due to
2:11everything that's going on there's a lot
2:12of volatility there's usually some
2:13discrepancy between sectors and ETFs and
2:16stocks so there's usually some
2:18opportunity somewhere in the market that
2:19we could potentially be taking advantage
2:22of. So that's what I'm going to talk to
2:24you about today. But of course, this
2:26video is not financial advice. This
2:28channel is purely based on my thoughts
2:29as I navigate my own personal investment
2:31journey. Please, please, please always
2:33do your own research. So PMI data
2:37extremely strong. Uh the NASDAQ down and
2:40what's going on with our income ETFs?
2:43Well, Hackey continues to crush it up
2:46another 1.48%. That's alltime highs for
2:48Hackey. Well done if you're holding
2:50hacky. I love a bit of cyber security
2:53and the guys at Amplify seem to be doing
2:55a very good job with that ETF. It is one
2:57of my favorite income ETFs from this
2:58year. As you know, I've done a lot of
3:00videos on it. Good to see it hitting
3:02all-time highs. Fizzy Fisy, MRPI,
3:05nothing. Uh what's doing really badly?
3:07See everything pretty much in the red
3:09apart from hacky. You got Dreamy. See,
3:12we had all that that good bullish
3:13momentum for like the memory stocks and
3:15crypto and it's now just come back down
3:17again. So if you wanted to get into it,
3:19potentially a good buying opportunity
3:20especially for the likes of SPCI space
3:23crypto um and the memory stocks nuclear
3:27that is that's a good opportunity too I
3:29think. Now in the single stocks what did
3:31well? Palanteer was up yesterday. So
3:35PLTW up 4.2%. That's the real outline.
3:39Meta continues to go on an incredible
3:42run. um you know we were down here was
3:45I've been trying to buy in these zones
3:47and I'm now about flat in terms of my
3:50share price and then about 15% in total
3:53profit from all the distributions I've
3:55been been getting. So yeah, very happy
3:57to see Meta having a good run here. Uh
4:00Microsoft up, so that's good. And what
4:03got crushed yesterday? Google. Really
4:05interesting. Google got really hammered
4:07yesterday, more so than even Micro
4:08Strategy. Broadcom down again. So that's
4:11potentially a good opportunity. So uh
4:14yes, some definitely some opportunities.
4:16If we look at the uh metals, they were
4:19down quite considerably. So KSLV
4:22potentially a good opportunity. gold.
4:25You know, we we're getting into a really
4:27nice zone here for the metals. Um, so
4:29let me know if you're getting into any
4:30of the metals, either these or miny or
4:33anything else cuz I'm starting to think
4:36the this is becoming very attractive for
4:38some of these metals ETFs. Uh, and then
4:41State Street, uh, XLEI, of course, oil
4:44was up, so that's gone up. And then down
4:47at the bottom, we got real estate, we've
4:49got utilities, and this, can you guess
4:53which one I bought from here? I bought
4:54one of the State Street income ETFs
4:56yesterday. And it was, of course,
4:58because we did the opportunity score on
5:00it yesterday. Um, and XLUI was top of
5:04the pack. So, this was the data before
5:07yesterday's session, this week. So, this
5:08will have now gone up again. Why?
5:11because utilities are,
5:15you know, treasury yields and and the
5:18information that's come out, the data
5:19that's come out have a big impact on
5:21utilities. And so XLUI is down big and I
5:26bought in yeah around 2190 or something
5:28around here when it hit that. I had a
5:30limit order on it and so yeah, XLUI is
5:34the ETF that I bought. Obviously, it was
5:36top of the opportunity scored yesterday
5:38before we had an even bigger pullback.
5:41it went down another 1.7%.
5:44So I pulled the trigger and bought
5:46there. Well, actually had a limit order
5:48around 21.90 or whatever it was. Um, and
5:50then I think I will continue my DCA
5:53lading strategy and my next buy I'll
5:57probably aim for around uh $21 because I
6:01think I don't want to put too much money
6:03into XLUI. I don't want too much
6:05exposure to utilities. I don't see it as
6:07the most kind of exciting thing. I'm
6:09happy to have it for some
6:10diversification and some exposure to
6:13utilities. It's more defensive when we
6:15when other things in the market and the
6:17economy start happening,
6:19but um yeah, taking making the most of
6:22this opportunity because I think it is a
6:24strong one. So, bought into that and I
6:28think my next buy will be around the $21
6:31mark as I dial it and then I'll probably
6:34just wait and see what happens from
6:36there. I won't continue to buy. Uh I'll
6:39probably reassess things as we go. So
6:41that was the uh sector scores that we
6:44talked about in yesterday's video. But
6:46of course today um we are talking about
6:49the single stock ETF opportunity score.
6:52Now someone asked me how this works, how
6:54I get this opportunity score, and it's a
6:57good question. So it's basically a
6:58formula and I've got it here. So it's a
7:00quick opportunity score. It's basically
7:02a draw down of 40%. So how um down the
7:07underlying and the ETF are. So it's a
7:10kind of combined mixture of the two. Um
7:13but mainly the underlying. So Netflix is
7:15obviously down near 52- week lows I I
7:18believe. And then recovery. So what's
7:20its recovery potential from here based
7:22on historical data. What's its RSI? If
7:25it's got a low very low RSI then it
7:27obviously scores higher. And then of
7:29course we've got the fear and greed
7:30index overlaid on top of that. So it's
7:33this formula
7:34uh this blend to give you kind of an
7:37opportunity score. It's almost like a
7:39contrarian but based on
7:42I want to say quality but based on a few
7:44data components make sure that there's
7:47recovery potential. It's a big draw down
7:49maybe you know near 52- week lows RSI is
7:52low fear and greed but there's potential
7:54for it to move up. So hopefully that
7:57helps and kind of makes sense but it's
8:00not obviously this is not financial
8:01advice. is not completely this isn't
8:02like right Netflix is at 83 go and buy
8:06Netflix right now you know you got to do
8:07some more research of course this is
8:09just kind of a gauging opportunity score
8:12based on some of these key metrics and
8:14it's to give you an idea okay let's look
8:16at the top five let's research these top
8:18five let's have a look and we'll
8:21identify so like here like we've got the
8:23top three being NetflixW so these are
8:26the Roundill weekly pay ETFs I've got
8:29most of them in here we've got some Rex
8:31shares ones, NVI, TSI, and we've got one
8:34only one year max SMCI because there
8:37isn't one from the other fund issuers.
8:39So, we've got Netflix number one, United
8:42Health uh number two. Well, that's a new
8:45entry by the way. So, that wasn't in
8:46there, but I decided to include it as
8:48looking quite attractive and it came in
8:49at number two straight off the bat. So,
8:50that's interesting. MSTW a slight pull
8:53back obviously in yesterday's session
8:55and obviously you know you could say
8:57that there's been a huge rally in MSTW
9:00from what $3 to almost $560 I think it's
9:03been but because there's so much
9:05potential because the the draw down from
9:08Micro Strategy the underlying is so big
9:10there's still a huge amount of potential
9:13upside opportunity um for any of the
9:17Micro Strategy based income ETFs MSTW
9:20Misti and so That's why it scores quite
9:22highly. Um, and then you got Ubu, so
9:25Uber and Broadcom. And then you got some
9:27of these others. Google's gone up higher
9:29up the list because it had a really bad
9:31day yesterday. Amazon's actually Amazon
9:33and Google starting to look a little bit
9:35more attractive. Obviously, they're not
9:36as volatile, so they're not going to
9:37score quite as highly as probably some
9:39of these more high highly volatile ETFs.
9:42Um so if you look getting Amazons and
9:45Googles around these high 50s 60s70s
9:48even then you know it's probably a
9:50pretty good opportunity. Um because
9:52these are a lot especially in micro
9:54strange it's a lot more risky isn't it?
9:57Um and we don't know if with the bare
9:59markets ended or if we're going to go
10:01into this huge Bitcoin and crypto bull
10:03run. We don't know. So definitely more
10:05risk involved. It's very cyclical as
10:07well. You can get destroyed on that ETF.
10:09Be very careful. All right. So, and then
10:11at the bottom of the pack, we've got
10:12AMDW's had a huge run. It's up over
10:14$600, uh, the underlying AMD. And then
10:17Apple's had a bit of a run. Meta's had a
10:19run. Meta's done really well recently.
10:22Robin Hood's done pretty well, even
10:23though a slight little pullback.
10:25Palanteer has been doing better. So,
10:26potentially not such good opportunities
10:29in comparison to these. Um, as you know,
10:32I bought I've been buying a little bit
10:33of Broadcom. This is one of my favorite
10:35ones. Broadcom. I bought that I think
10:37two or three days ago. and also a small
10:40position last week. It's been beaten
10:42down quite a lot. Um, so I think these
10:47NFLW, uh, UNHW, Ubu, Uber, and Broadcom
10:52are possibly the four. And, you know,
10:55I'm just taking crypto and micro
10:56strategy out of it because it depends on
10:59your thesis on Bitcoin and crypto micro
11:01strategy. So, just in terms of kind of
11:03more conventional stocks, I would be
11:06looking at these four. Um, and actually
11:09if we look at, well, let's look at the
11:13stocks. Oh, hold on. Got it over here.
11:16We'll go down and we'll go to Netflix
11:19first and we'll see what's going on.
11:21See, down around 70. I think that's a
11:22pretty good. If we go one year, yeah, we
11:26go even further out. I mean, you can
11:27look see how beaten down. This is like a
11:302year time frame and it's almost at
11:342year lows, you know. So potentially a
11:37very good opportunity. My like if we
11:39look at Netflix in terms of forecast
11:41from analyst um
11:44projections then it's currently trading
11:47at 71 but it did get downgraded the
11:49other day by one of the analysts to
11:52around uh I think it was around here 56
11:54$57. So it's not at the minimum and
11:57actually think Netflix
11:59I'm not quite as confident in Netflix as
12:02I am like a Broadcom. I just when I
12:04think about my consumption like I, you
12:06know, subscribe to Netflix, but is the
12:09content as good as it used to be? Is it
12:11dominating the space as much as it used
12:13to be? I feel like there's more
12:14competition. I find myself still
12:17watching a bit of Prime Disney a little
12:19bit for the kids. You know, I just feel
12:21like, you know, there's um Stan and all
12:24sorts of things out there now. And I
12:27just don't know if it's it's as
12:30it's dominating as much as it used to.
12:32So, I'd be interested to you to hear
12:34your thoughts on Netflix and NFLW. I
12:36think it is potentially a very good
12:39opportunity, but I don't know. I'm just
12:42not as confident in it, not as bullish
12:45on it as I am potentially in some of
12:48these others, particularly Uber and
12:50Broadcom. This is an interesting one.
12:52UNHW. So, let's just have a look at this
12:54in terms of the projections.
12:58Um, UNH
13:02forecasts.
13:05So yeah, it's down under all uh the
13:08analysts
13:10uh ratings. So base case it's got 30%
13:14upside. Ball case it's got about 42% up
13:18guys upside minimum case up to. So
13:21potentially a good buying opportunity.
13:2219 analysts saying buy um only one
13:26saying sell. So potentially and if we
13:28look at United Health on
13:31the charts like two look at it from two
13:34years ago it was trading around 620 it's
13:38now trading around it had that huge this
13:41was potentially a very good opportunity
13:43here but now it's had a bit of a
13:44pullback and it's still presenting as a
13:47decent opportunity score of 80 um
13:51and yeah it's looking I mean if you look
13:53even further along look look at this
13:55three is that three years four is I mean
13:58wow.
14:00So
14:01let me know what your thoughts are on
14:02this. Is anyone holding UNHW? I don't
14:04hold it myself. Would love to hear your
14:06thoughts on this particular if you're
14:07holding it. Um what else have we got? So
14:11MSDW, I'll skip that out. We've talked
14:13about that numerous times. U I've talked
14:16about this bit because I bought Ubu the
14:18other day. Um Uber forecasts, I think
14:22it's a strong buy from Yeah. So we're
14:25under the minimum potentially in a bullc
14:27case scenario over 100% upside strong
14:30buy from 42 analysts only one saying
14:33strong sell and I guess it kind of
14:36depends on your thesis if if [snorts]
14:39autonomous driving and AI is really
14:41going to disrupt Uber's business model.
14:43I think their network's huge. They got
14:45crazy revenue growth. I think it will do
14:46well. So I personally am more bullish on
14:50probably Uber and Broadcom than I am a
14:53little bit. I still think Netflix is a
14:55good opportunity, but yeah, I haven't
14:58pulled the trigger. I'm waiting for I
14:59think it could go lower Netflix
15:01actually. So, I'm probably waiting for
15:03that before I do anything. As you know,
15:05I'm trying to actually stay out of the
15:07single stocks as much, but I'm just
15:08seeing that there's not as much
15:10opportunity in, you know, the core ETFs,
15:12your TDAX, your SPY eyes, your TMGNs.
15:16They're just they're not down as much.
15:17So, I'm not buying into them. So, I'm
15:19looking for opportunities either in the
15:20sector ETFs or in the single stocks. And
15:23I'm trying not to I'm trying to build up
15:26my cash reserve quite a bit, but also
15:28trying not to buy into these single
15:30stocks as much. They are a little bit
15:32risky, but I do see some pretty good uh
15:35opportunities right here. And I think
15:37Broadcom is the last one. I think
15:38Broadcom is definitely a buy around
15:40these levels. It was down almost
15:443% yesterday.
15:46Analyst predictions. Uh what have we
15:49got? Yeah, we're around the minimum and
15:52a base case up 50% upside potential from
15:54here. Ball case 100% upside from here.
15:59Strong buy. Look, no sells. 42% uh
16:03sorry, 42% 42 analyst saying a strong
16:05buy. Eight saying a buy, three saying a
16:07hold. I just can't help but feel that
16:11Broadcom might be the best buy of the
16:13moment. um just my kind of thoughts, but
16:18would love to hear your thoughts as
16:19well. Um so yeah, that's it. I bought
16:22XLUI, so the sector date street sector
16:26income ETF utilities based on everything
16:28that's going on with the markets. I
16:30think that's probably a pretty good
16:31opportunity. And of course Netflix,
16:33United Health, Micro Strategy, if you
16:36haven't got exposure to much crypto is
16:37probably a good opportunity still, Uber
16:40and Broadcom, and even Coinbase really.
16:42But yes, just thought I'd share that
16:44with you in terms of the single stock
16:46ETF opportunity score. Um, but yeah,
16:49seems like a very volatile time in the
16:51market yesterday. Potentially,
16:53you know, it looks like the economy is
16:56doing well, but then of course that
16:58means potential higher inflation,
17:00potentially rate hikes, good news is bad
17:03news, potentially bigger dips and more
17:05fear coming into the market, which means
17:07more opportunity. So, could be a smart
17:10move just to hold some cash, maybe take
17:12some nibbles around these points, around
17:14these opportunities. But I would love to
17:17hear your thoughts, what you're buying,
17:18what you're eyeing up, what's on your
17:20watch list. Otherwise, guys, I'll leave
17:22it there and I'll see you in the next
17:23one. Cheers.
