0:00Welcome to the Fantasy Footballers Podcast with your hosts, Andy Holloway, Jason Moore, and Mike Wright.

0:23Welcome in.

0:25It's football time.

0:27Yes, we're already back.

0:31Did you almost forget?

0:32No, no, no.

0:32Oh, okay.

0:33I did not.

0:33It is super football time tonight.

0:35I did not.

0:36Super duper football time.

0:38I woke up and I was like, oh, it's Thursday, baby!

0:42You know what we didn't even talk about on the incredible game that is happening tonight is the fact that this is the...

0:48Oh, yes.

0:49This is the Bills' home opener of their new stadium.

0:51Is it Highmark?

0:52Is that what it's called?

0:52Highmark Stadium?

0:53It's the first game ever.

0:55That's going to be...

0:57Electric.

0:58Moving lines.

0:59Electric.

1:01I will be disappointed if this game is not 68 to 65.

1:08So this is the no-wind stadium, right?

1:11That's right.

1:12This is the...

1:12We are still open, but we've prevented the blustery winds.

1:17Look, Big Dome accepts...

1:19Okay.

1:20Accepts this current compromise.

1:22We will...

1:23We will...

1:24Look, Big Dome reserves the right to change our opinion.

1:27Thank you.

1:28Because...

1:29You're inspecting.

1:30Yeah.

1:30But if this works out where it's like, hey, y'all get your snow games, but we get that wind out of here, that absolute nonsense that ruins games.

1:39Snow without wind would be really great.

1:40Yeah.

1:41And rain without wind is usually fine as well.

1:44Like, it doesn't get in the way of...

1:45Until it gets sloppy.

1:46Well, but that's what I'm saying.

1:47When it's sideways wind, and it's like 15 mile an hour to 30 mile an hour winds with rain, you can't do anything.

1:54And people, that's not fun football to watch.

1:57I don't...

1:58I can't hear that that is fun football.

2:00You can make a great argument, the whole like, oh, I don't like watching defensive games.

2:04No, you can watch an awesome defensive game where two great defenses are just annihilating the other offense.

2:11You can have fun with that.

2:12You cannot have fun watching sideways rain football where no one can complete a pass.

2:16Everyone's slipping around.

2:17I want to giggle at the weather three times a year.

2:20I can appreciate...

2:21I want to laugh a little bit because of what I'm watching.

2:24I want something kind of funky three times a year.

2:27I can appreciate the beauty of a snow game.

2:30Okay.

2:30And if you get the wind out of there...

2:32We've been working through this for years and years.

2:34And to hear that Big Dome is willing to go and inspect the situation.

2:38To consider what we've done with technological advancements and geometry and whatever physics is going on there to prevent the wind swirling.

2:46Cleveland better be paying attention.

2:48Well, yeah.

2:49Cleveland needs the dome.

2:50Chicago and Cleveland, those...

2:52Yeah.

2:53They just...

2:53Are you talking about Indiana?

2:55Oh, yeah.

2:55Maybe their new state is far enough away.

2:57I don't know what the wind's like in Indiana.

2:58It's not the Windy City in Hammond, is it?

3:01We've got a great show.

3:02We've got a fun quick question, news and notes to talk about.

3:07Starts of the week today.

3:09Fantasy forecast.

3:11And we had the funniest thing happen yesterday ever.

3:15And so this is...

3:16I mean, I'm going to apologize to the audio listeners already because...

3:20I mean, you can go to YouTube and see it.

3:22You can go to our socials and see it.

3:24But lo and behold...

3:25We hired an influencer.

3:27We did.

3:27And you might not know her.

3:30But, you know, we are great friends.

3:33Our partners at SiriusXM.

3:35They're like, hey, we're going to...

3:36You know, it's football season.

3:37We're going to get you up on a billboard in New York City.

3:39And what a cool thing that is.

3:41Pretty cool.

3:42It is.

3:42But then we needed somebody.

3:44Some random...

3:45Gotta get the word out.

3:46I mean, some random person to...

3:48Preferably an influencer.

3:50To go and just show off the billboard.

3:53Yeah.

3:54And for lo and behold, somebody is browsing...

3:56I think Mike found it first.

3:58Somebody...

3:58Oh, but someone tagged us.

3:59I don't know how they found it.

4:00On social media, Khloe Kardashian, who...

4:03I think she's trying to show her own billboard off.

4:05Yeah, maybe.

4:06Maybe.

4:06But it's not really...

4:07If you look at this objectively, she is showing off our billboard.

4:10She's literally pointing at us.

4:12She's covering her own face and pointing at us.

4:15She's cheering for the fantasy footballers.

4:18So, I just want to say thank you, Khloe.

4:20Yes.

4:20Good work, Khloe.

4:21Wait, we got...

4:22I don't have an applause button.

4:24Oh, I got you.

4:25I got you.

4:25What in the world?

4:27The people love it.

4:28I think we really appreciate it.

4:30And, you know, she was showing off some three new fragrances, and Jason pointed out.

4:34I mean, that's one way to refer to us.

4:37The new smells are Andy, Mike, and Jason.

4:40So, you can go to Sephora and pick up Khloe's three new scents.

4:44Unbelievable.

4:45Unbelievable.

4:45You want to smell like a dirty basement?

4:47Some things...

4:48Pick up Eau de Mike.

4:52Some things are just too funny, because you just can't believe it.

4:55You want to smell like a chef with garlic on his hands?

4:59Is that your fragrance?

5:00Pick up Yasson.

5:01Oh, I don't know what ice cream smells like, but that's my scent.

5:05I would go with yours.

5:06My gosh.

5:07Have you not showered in like four days?

5:09No, that's...

5:10That's Jason.

5:12Is it a little garlicky?

5:14Yeah.

5:15You catching a few grass clippings in there from the range?

5:18Yes.

5:20Unbelievable.

5:20All right.

5:21Our quick question of the day from Tony in North Carolina.

Trade Vetoes

5:25He says, in a buddy of mine's family league, there was a trade that got vetoed, and people

5:28are really upset about it.

5:32The trade was B. John Robinson.

5:36Oh, boy.

5:37For Luther Burden and Chubba Hubbard.

5:39Chubba Hubbard.

5:41Chubba Hubbard.

5:42Chubba Hubbard.

5:43So, would you veto is the question, and you're really...

5:48Let me...

5:48You guys answer the question.

5:49I'm going to give the opener.

5:51The opener is that our policy, of which I know we still hold to, is that outside of open

5:59collusion, let people be who they want to be.

6:03We have been around the game long enough to see trades that look lopsided in one person's

6:07favor change in the blink of an eye and be lopsided for the other person.

6:11So, in almost all circumstances, we would say you never veto.

6:17You certainly don't have a commission-only veto situation.

6:21You know, if you have to have a veto, it should be some sort of, like, unanimous league veto.

6:29Even then, we say pretty much just don't have it.

6:31Yeah.

6:32This is not a good trade.

6:34It is not a good trade.

6:35B. John is worth much more than the hope of what Luther Burden can become mixed with Chubba

6:41Hubbard.

6:42However, there's a world...

6:44I mean, Chubba Hubbard was running back one two years ago.

6:47He got all the work in week one, and Luther Burden was drafted as a wide receiver two.

6:52High potential.

6:53And so, it's one of those things where, unless you know that these managers are doing something

6:59nefarious, one of these guys is giving in.

7:01One of these guys is helping a buddy or whatever.

7:05More than likely, one of these guys is just bad at fantasy football.

7:08We have the...

7:10The clues are in the question.

7:13In a buddy of mine's family league.

7:16Ah.

7:17Y'all never been in a family league?

7:19Someone's dunking on kids.

7:21It's, generally speaking, and maybe I'm way off base here, but I don't think I am.

7:27It's a family league, which that means that there's going to be people in that league who

7:32aren't, like, dialed in, ravid fantasy football maniacs.

7:37Yeah.

7:38Sounds like there's one that might be.

7:39It's funny, because we played in a family league for several years with our children, one

7:44year with our wives.

7:45None of us ever won that league, right?

7:48Because we didn't go...

7:51We didn't do this.

7:52We didn't do this.

7:53We didn't try to take advantage of new people and be like, this is going to be so fun.

7:57There's not 100% guarantee that the Bijan side will win this, one.

8:01Pretty close, but...

8:02It's pretty...

8:02I mean, it is pretty close, but I mean, literally, I mean, you could have injuries, you could have

8:06things that change the situation.

8:07We don't like what's going on in Atlanta, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.

8:09It's probably a very lopsided trade in the Bijan manager's favor.

8:13However, if the person getting Chuba has zero wide receivers at all, there's a world where

8:19the net effect of this trade is better for them.

8:22Look, this is the type of nuance and speculation that we don't want veto power to control.

8:28So, crappy trade.

8:29That's okay.

8:30Crappy trades can happen.

8:32And here's...

8:32Look, my advice.

8:34If you are in a family league and you are a cutthroat fantasy football player, if you're

8:40listening to this podcast, you want information.

8:42You want to be better.

8:44That's on you, man.

8:46You go make that trade.

8:47You know who to trade with.

8:49Yeah.

NFL News

8:50Go get their players.

8:51Yep.

8:52All right.

8:52News time.

8:56News and notes from around the league.

9:01That escalated quickly.

9:03You guys were making fun of his sore thumb.

9:06I mean, to be fair...

9:08It's got a fracture.

9:08Kevin O'Connell did...

9:09Jordan Mason.

9:10He did say he has a sore thumb.

9:11And to be fair, I'll bet he did because it was broken.

9:14So, I'll bet his thumb was pretty darn sore.

9:17Jordan Mason's on IR with a small fracture in his thumb.

9:20The fracture was certainly tied to the soreness.

9:22That's two thumbs down for that.

9:24Nice.

9:25Yeah.

9:26That's one thumb down.

9:27One's in a cast.

9:28Joe Burrow told reporters.

9:29Yeah, you can...

9:30On that note, though, before we move on to Joe Burrow, this matters for fantasy.

9:36Yes, it does.

9:37We'll talk about it later today.

9:38Yeah.

9:39We'll talk about it later today.

9:39But there's going to be, you know, some waiver wire pickups.

9:42Do you pick up, you know, their rookie who's got a lot of speed?

9:47DeVon Claiborne.

9:47DeVon Claiborne.

9:48There was some talk about...

9:51When you listen to Kevin O'Connell talk, he was not bullish on the rookie.

9:55Now, I'm hopeful on the rookie.

9:57I liked the rookie's tape.

9:59He had a lot of speed.

10:01The thing I liked with Jordan Mason coming into this year, kind of that outside vertical

10:06zone, works really well for him.

10:08I think it works pretty well here for Claiborne as well.

10:11However, the quotes were talking all about pass protection and that they're excited for his

10:16future, but he's got a lot of work to do.

10:17So, you kind of have to temper it a little bit.

10:21Can we just say, just play...

10:23Aaron Jones.

10:24Yes.

10:24Well...

10:24It's like we're fine.

10:25We've been trying to find the non-Aaron Jones answer in Minnesota.

10:29Aaron Jones...

10:30Aaron Jones is part of the equation here.

10:32For the next month, he becomes an absolutely fantastic play.

10:35His legs are fresh, which we see all the time.

10:37A lot of times, older players get off to a stronger start in the beginning of the year.

10:40Last year's Keenan Allen was great for about a month.

10:43If he's all alone for a month, that is fantastic.

10:46Yeah.

10:46I mean, this is...

10:47This is going to be...

10:50The Vikings are just an interesting case all the way around when it comes to fantasy.

10:55I mean, Aaron Jones played 46.2% of snaps.

10:58That was 2% higher than Jordan Mason in week one.

11:01Mason did have a lot of work, but I mean, it was pretty even.

11:0412 carries for Aaron Jones, 15 for Jordan Mason.

11:09I even think they were similar efficiency-wise.

11:12So, yeah.

11:13I mean, Aaron Jones is going to get a ton of work.

11:15It's...

11:16Yeah.

11:16I don't know what their offensive philosophy becomes.

11:19Because you can't...

11:20They talked about, we really want to run more.

11:24You can't feed Aaron Jones just carry after carry after carry.

11:28So, I'll be interested to see if Claiborne can get things...

11:33Just get some opportunities.

11:34If you took him in your rookie draft, this is the kind of break that you need.

11:40This is your moment.

11:41Yeah.

11:41Yeah.

11:42It's Jason's moment, too.

11:43He just spent 29 in the Chop League for him.

11:47Well, I...

11:47For Claiborne?

11:48Jordan Mason was my running back two, and my running back three was Isaiah Pacheco.

11:53So, I have to have a start.

11:56There was no one out there.

11:57And also, 29 Fab in a...

11:59For context, we have 1,000 Fab in that league.

12:01Yeah, there's 27 more than you needed.

12:03Sure.

12:04I just looked at that.

12:05Julia was talking about him, and I was like, ah, and she needs him, too.

12:08Oh, there's the little...

12:09There's the Chop League.

12:10The context of your league matters.

12:12Well, no.

12:13I just...

12:13You got talked up.

12:14Talk up a name.

12:15I mean, just start saying rumors about people you love.

12:18Joe Burrow told reporters, this sucks, that he's dealing with back tightness, expects

12:22to play.

12:23You can go back and watch the clip.

12:25He got...

12:26And what's crazy is we saw this play live, and when I saw it, I made a comment in the

12:31studio that, oh, you don't want to see that.

12:34Right.

12:34Because he was going to the sideline, and instead of going out of bounds, he just kind

12:39of like dove forward in inbounds and got absolutely annihilated.

12:44Like, it was a hard hit.

12:46Then he gets up, and you see him react, ah, ooh, you know, like we do when we get up in

12:50the morning.

12:50Right.

12:51And now you have him dealing with back tightness.

12:53And then Jason and I yesterday, Mike, on the footcast, yeah, you were heading out to your

12:58son's football game.

12:59Going to Tucson in the rain.

13:00But we started to speculate, like, you know, why were we so frustrated with him not going

13:07downfield?

13:08Why was it so many tight ends in the short area?

13:10Was he feeling a little bit of pain from this?

13:12Yeah, that's fair.

13:12I don't like it.

13:14No.

13:14I don't want to have conversations about Joe Burrow being hurt, guys.

13:17And what's going on with people's backs?

13:21What?

13:22Why aren't people wearing precautionary back braces?

13:25Yes, thank you.

13:26I mean, like two of-

13:26Or at least like the thing you wear when you're doing like desmutes.

13:29You're talking about the spasm epidemic going on.

13:33Seriously.

13:34I don't have a stretch for that one, guys.

13:35There's no butterfly.

13:37I don't know what to do.

13:37No.

13:38No.

13:38I think you just do the old twisty.

13:40You know what they need on the sideline?

13:43They need a good old-fashioned school desk.

13:45Oh, because it'll pop your back.

13:47You sit on that bed.

13:48Oh, you just lean back.

13:50The ultimate in chiropractic care.

13:53Elementary school desk.

13:54Did you see a chiropractic?

13:55No.

13:56I actually just bought a chair from a school.

13:59Nico Collins.

13:59This sucks.

14:00Limited hamstring injury availability in question for the upcoming week.

14:06We're going to talk about it probably on today's episode.

14:09This is concerning because he started the practice fine, then got injured.

14:15Then they say that they're going to get imaging done, which you don't do that for no reason.

14:23It's a scary proposition.

14:24Like right now, if you have Nico, you have to make plans to have a different player pick someone up off the waiver wire,

14:32maybe elevate booty in your mind or whatever you're going to do.

14:37Done.

14:38Yeah.

14:39Look, this is not our fault.

14:41It's the man's name.

14:43Andy hasn't really been a booty guy, but lately, especially after the Nico injury, he's really becoming a booty guy.

14:50I did sign Xavier Hutchinson in our Dynasty League to play.

14:54Yeah.

14:54It makes sense.

14:55Because he was available, so that's something to pay attention to.

14:57But you know what sucks is that isolated hamstring injury, sure.

15:02This ain't his first rodeo.

15:03This ain't his first rodeo with this.

15:04I mean, he missed one, two, three, four weeks, five weeks in 2024 with a hamstring injury.

15:12It's him and Evans are the two that if you talk hammies, I don't like it.

15:16It makes me think about how good Jordan Tyson's going to be.

15:19Because Nico's awesome.

15:21Mike Evans is awesome.

15:22There's something about these tall guys who have like, they run too fast for their hamstring.

15:26When they're healthy, they're going to be awesome.

15:28Their Achilles heel is their hamstring.

15:30Well, it's their hamstring.

15:32Yeah.

15:32Yeah, I get it.

15:34Lad McConkie didn't practice on Wednesday.

15:35We'll monitor that.

15:36I think that is Friday.

15:39Yeah, Wednesday doesn't matter to me on recovering from that injury.

15:42I heard about the timeline.

15:43They were expecting him to not practice Wednesday, to do a little bit Thursday, to be full go Friday.

15:49So we'll see if that pans out or not.

15:52I just acquired Mike's least favorite player in the NFL in our league of record.

15:57DK Metcalf?

15:58Yeah.

15:58Yeah.

15:59Nice.

16:00Just in this moment.

16:01Oh, you just made a trade?

16:02He has the lowest.

16:04He had the highest expected fantasy points contrasting with his performance, which might

16:09just be what DK is.

16:10But at the same time, what I ended up doing was I traded Dajon Stribling and a small pick

16:17swap.

16:17I get it.

16:18I get it.

16:18To get Metcalf.

16:19Because Stribling, we just got the word that Stribling is out.

16:22Probably 10 weeks.

16:2210 weeks.

16:24Yeah.

16:24Ankle surgery.

16:25We were hoping, I mean, I think part of the show yesterday was like, hey, Stribling and

16:29Tyson will be out the same amount of time.

16:30No.

16:31This is a nightmare.

16:33This is a my guy that got no chances to be a my guy.

16:36Been there, brother.

16:37Yeah.

16:37But what was it was Blake Jarwin week one ACL and sort of Jason last year in the capacity

16:43where like Kittle just sucked the life out of the beginning of your season.

16:46But I said it on yesterday's show.

16:48I, I will forever be a DK Metcalf hater.

16:53But the opportunity if, if week one is the new trend of this Mike McCarthy offense and how

17:00they're going to use DK Metcalf.

17:01If he has to be a starter for me on bye weeks and things like that or in a flex spot, I

17:05can live with it.

17:05It was funny.

17:06He had 10 targets and these are like, he's getting, I mean, he's running a lot of slants,

17:11but he's getting big boy ADOT shots too.

17:14It was funny that you're talking about his expected fantasy points and he was, he had

17:19far fewer expected fantasy points than what he should have realized.

17:22He had fewer reals.

17:23Yeah.

17:24And then it was like, I was looking at the list.

17:26I think it was 19 expected or something like that.

17:27Yeah.

17:27And then it was like, when I looked at all of the players that kind of, you know, there's

17:32a great stat to look at is what was their opportunity and did they fail on that opportunity or not?

17:37And it was like, oh, there were some players who really outperformed their opportunities.

17:42JSN, Alman Ross St. Brown, Chris Olave, Jameer Gibbs.

17:46It's all the good players.

17:48Go figure.

17:48They, they do more with their opportunities.

17:50And then it's like the players who had great opportunity, but did less.

17:54It was DK Metcalf, Matthew Golden, Malik Washington, Jamison Williams.

18:01So it was like, oh, well, yeah, see a trend.

18:05I've got one more thing I want to talk about here.

18:07We've got a couple of things in the news and then I have another topic to bring up, but

18:10Brock Bowers didn't protect, didn't participate on Wednesday in practice with the knee.

18:14Sam Darnold is officially out against the Cardinals.

18:16That line, it keeps changing.

18:18It is now three and a half points.

18:21Last week when we were, I think it was, was it Monday?

18:27I think it was Monday because I don't think that Monday night football was over.

18:29You were talking about.

18:31Yeah.

18:31You and I were trying to guess the line.

18:32Yeah.

18:33And, and you thought it would be, I think three and a half is what you guessed.

18:36Yeah.

18:36But the line was five and a half.

18:37Yeah.

18:37Then yesterday it moved to four and a half.

18:38And now it is where you guessed it at three and a half.

18:41And I think some, I think Arizona's going to win the game.

18:43Uh, RJ Harvey was listed as DNP on Wednesday.

18:47Pay attention to that.

18:49That is, uh, you know, significant.

18:51I'll bet Jonah Coleman hit a lot of waivers this, this week.

18:54Yeah, no, that's a good point.

18:55And then the last thing I want to talk about is a comment, uh, that came up on 95, seven,

19:00the game they were interviewing Christian McCaffrey.

19:03Here's the quote from Christian McCaffrey.

19:06I look at some of the duos last year, like Bijan and Tyler Algier and Gibbs and Monty.

19:12It was such a good way to keep people fresh.

19:15He's good enough to do that.

19:17Speaking of Kalen Black and what he can add to the offensive run game in 2026.

19:23Interesting.

19:24Wow.

19:24That would be, I, awful.

19:28I don't know if it'll be awful.

19:30It'll be a downgrade to the outcome.

19:33Yes.

19:34Like he won't be, if that was in any way, shape and form true, the, the McCaffrey healthy

19:39equals number one overall would change.

19:41Yeah.

19:41Yeah.

19:42I mean, you, you look at him last week.

19:43He was great.

19:44Six point yards, a carry, eight, eight targets.

19:47Did you not catch that?

19:48What?

19:48Six point yards?

19:50What is six point yards?

19:51Six point what?

19:52I thought I said 6.8 yards a carry.

19:54No.

19:54No.

19:55I didn't?

19:55No, you just dropped off.

19:56I left the eight out?

19:57Yeah, you did.

19:58You should have different words out there a little bit.

19:58Okay.

19:59Well, 6.8 yards per rush attempt.

20:02Eight targets.

20:03Five or six.

20:03That's effective talking.

20:04Really?

20:05You know, he was, you got that?

20:07You got that, Andy?

20:09Man, way to jump on it.

20:10Um, my point is he was-

20:13You got to hit those, Andy.

20:15He was the running back 22 last week.

20:17Like it-

20:18Yeah.

20:19Yes.

20:19Yeah.

20:20I just, he'll still be, even in a time show, then he would, if you're like Chris McCaffrey,

20:25healthy is number one.

20:26If he's in more of a timeshare and healthy, he's still top three to me.

20:30Top three?

20:31Yeah.

20:31No.

20:32No.

20:32Yes.

20:32He's like a-

20:33Oh, I forgot about Ken Bone Walker.

20:35Top four.

20:36Uh-huh.

20:37Hey, rest of the season rankings, where do you have Ken Bone Walker right now?

20:41Because I know where I've got him.

20:42Way too high.

20:44Let me pull it up.

20:47He's number three.

20:48RB three.

20:49Yeah, he's number three.

20:49RB three.

20:50Right now.

20:51He is.

20:52I just say-

20:52He's four.

20:53McCaffrey will still be perfectly fine, because he'll get a ton of receptions.

20:56B. John Gibbs and JT?

20:57Yeah.

20:57Who's ahead of him?

20:57Yeah, Jonathan Taylor.

20:58Yeah, no, I think I would actually-

20:59Like, stripling out-

21:00I would tweak that.

21:00Stribbling out means more receptions for Chris McCaffrey.

21:04Yeah, I mean, that team, did you see how heavily favored they are this week?

21:08Do you know what the line is?

21:09I don't.

21:10In that game?

21:10I haven't looked.

21:11They're playing the Dolphins, Jason.

21:12Ooh.

21:13Guess the line.

21:14Man.

21:15Okay.

21:15At home or on the-

21:16I believe it's at home.

21:18Okay.

21:19Okay.

21:19Minus.

21:20If you-

21:21They opened laying-

21:23Giving the Chargers 10.5 versus the Cardinals.

21:27I want to say 9.5, but based on Andy, it's like-

21:30What is it?

21:30Like 11?

21:32It's got to-

21:33It has to be double digits.

21:3413.5.

21:35Oh!

21:36Get rekt!

21:3713.5!

21:38And unlike the Cardinals?

21:40Because generally speaking-

21:41Guess what won't be my almost subset this week?

21:42When you see a favor like that, you're like, just give me the points.

21:49No.

21:49No, I will not be taking the points.

21:51Also, worth noting, because you just brought up our rest of season rankings, Andy, where

21:56I've got Ken Bone Walker fourth.

21:58You guys have him third.

22:00We have those on the site.

22:01We have improved them drastically this very recently.

22:05We are taking into account games left, strength of schedule per position, all sorts of-

22:12Yeah, all the algos have been strengthened on this side of the-

22:14Really, really cool stuff.

22:15And that goes into our trade analyzer.

22:18So everything that you-

22:19All the tools, they're getting massive upgrades, and I'm excited to use-

22:23That includes our dynasty trade analyzer.

22:25So if you're in the trade analyzer and you're in a dynasty league, you're going to have a couple

22:31options in there to look at short-term, long-term differentials in the value of the trades.

22:36Because people just want to know, is the trade good?

22:39And that's just not-

22:40I would love to say yes or no, always.

22:42But in a dynasty league, we say this all the time on the mailbag shows when these questions

22:46come in.

22:46Are you trying to win this year?

22:48Are you looking for long-term?

22:49There is a little bit of a tipping of the balance based on how win now versus long-term

22:55versus youth versus-

22:56Yeah.

22:56All of those equations matter.

22:58So we're putting some upgrades into place.

23:01We're keeping startup dynasty rankings updated all in-season, not just in the off-season.

23:06All of that should hit the Foot Clan this week.

23:08Just some more perks.

23:10I would just say to be safe next week, but soon.

23:13Yeah.

23:14It's Thursday.

23:15Yeah.

23:15Okay.

23:15And for you to say that-

23:17Yeah.

23:17I'm usually the one pushing the-

23:19Yeah.

23:20Pushing the forward.

23:20The announcement's a little too early.

23:22All right.

23:22We'll take a break and we'll jump into our starts.

23:29All right, Foot Clan, whether you are on the go or at home, T-Mobile, well, they're built

23:33to keep you connected wherever you're scouting your fantasy team.

23:37And that on the go part, that is important.

23:40With America's Best Network, you'll be connected to the latest news and player projections.

23:44So when you're on the clock, you can draft a winning team.

23:47I can think of so many situations where that element of being connected while you're on

23:50the go is fundamental to fantasy football success.

23:53I'm in the midst of multiple leagues right now where I am responding to trade offers.

23:58We are massaging the trade offer.

24:00We want to make sure that I'm the one that gets the player, not another player manager

24:04in our league.

24:05So trade offers, when you're on the go, all the news that's breaking so you don't make

24:09a mistake.

24:10And my favorite thing, maybe I'll mention it.

24:12Look, you're sitting and you have a quiet moment somewhere out and about.

24:16You want to jump in the UDK.

24:17We got the player profiles.

24:18You can watch all of those in there with T-Mobile.

24:20You can jump in on the player projections and our stat projections and all the 130,000

24:25words of content.

24:27Again, T-Mobile making that easy to do.

24:29Every bit of news.

24:31Things are changing all the time.

24:32New player contracts, all that good stuff.

24:34So from off season to game day, every play is better with T-Mobile.

Starts of the Week

25:05Starts of the week.

25:06Brought to you by Apple Card.

25:10Starts of the week for week number two.

25:12Oh my goodness.

25:13Here we go.

25:14Quarterback start of the week for me.

25:16I'm going Brock Purdy in that matchup against the Dolphins.

25:19Nice.

25:20Amazingly.

25:21And, you know, all the respect you've been wanting to throw his way since returning from

25:25injury last year.

25:25In week 11, the quarterback three and fancy points per game.

25:28They're monster favorites.

25:29Let's go Brock Purdy.

25:30I'm going to go with a guy that you guys have loved a lot more than I have in his career.

25:35Jordan Love this week against the New York Jets.

25:40They don't have a very good running game without Josh Jacobs, and they let him throw the ball

25:44second and neutral pass rate, sixth and pass rate over expectation.

25:48That was against a very good Minnesota defense.

25:50I think against the Jets, he will cook.

25:52He was top 10 last week.

25:54He'll keep throwing the ball, and the Jets ain't going to scare me.

25:57And I'm going to Dak Prescott versus Washington.

26:01Last week wasn't what we wanted.

26:02175 and 2, plus some nasty George Pickens drops.

26:07But 18% of his passes were 20 or more air yards.

26:10That is delightful.

26:13CeeDee Lamb and George will be better.

26:14And Washington's defense, 31st in EPA per pass attempt last year.

26:18And I don't think that they fixed it.

26:21Yeah, no signs that they have.

26:23My running back start of the week, I'm going Bayshall Tootin.

26:2716 opportunities last week, even though the snaps were pretty, even with Crod, 14 rush attempts.

26:33And look, one season or one week a season does not make.

26:36But Denver, you got run on by Ken Bone Walker in that game.

26:41Also, if you listen to the quotes from Liam Cohen, he was waxing poetic on Bayshall Tootin's

26:48performance.

26:49Yeah, I think it's going to be a pretty good week.

26:51I want to give people confidence after kind of a, you know, everyone's looking at the

26:54snap counts and Crod on the field.

26:55Look, I think Tootin, I still want to see what the goal line looks like.

27:00That's the concerning part.

27:01But I think the opportunities will be there.

27:03The Denver matchup, not scary against the run in week one.

27:05So I'm going to chase it.

27:06I like it.

27:07You guys remember when Chuba Hubbard was able to be paired with Luther Burton to get Bijon?

27:11Yeah.

27:12Yeah.

27:12That was because he played against the Chicago Bears, who were 29th in yards per carry allowed,

27:1631st in rush success rate allowed, and 30th in yards before contact.

27:20Per attempt, I am playing Aaron Jones without Jordan Mason.

27:23We just talked about him earlier.

27:24He's going to get all the work.

27:25He is a good back.

27:26His legs are fresh.

27:27The matchup is great.

27:29Throw him in there.

27:29I love it.

27:33I'm going Bill Krosky, baby.

27:34Bill Krosky.

27:36Do something so we can make some more jokes.

27:37He was the clear lead back.

27:39Look, he ran 13 routes for Bill.

27:43Okay.

27:43Okay.

27:44But 16 carries as well.

27:45And the matchup against Dallas, they allowed a 59% success rate in week one against the Giants,

27:53which is the second highest rate allowed by a Cowboys defense since 2018.

27:57They, so far through week one, they have not fixed their defense.

28:02So I'll play Bill.

28:03All right.

28:03Wide receiver.

28:04Start of the week.

28:05I'm going to go with a start of the week for tonight.

28:07It's DJ Moore against Detroit.

28:10Highmark Stadium debut.

28:12Huge over under.

28:1433% of Buffalo's first read targets.

28:16I'm all about the DJ Moore, Dalton Kincaid combo to elevate Josh Allen into a stratosphere

28:22above the stratosphere he was already in.

28:25I don't even know what that is.

28:26I don't know what is up there.

28:28There's more spheres.

28:29Is there some sort of tertiary sphere?

28:32Eventually there's space.

28:33Eventually.

28:34Yeah.

28:34Is he going to outer space?

28:35He might go to space.

28:36I'm going DJ Moore.

28:37He's low orbit.

28:38All right.

28:38I'm going to go with a guy that I didn't love in the off season and he was terrible in

28:42week one, but I believe Terry McLaurin has a.

28:45Yeah.

28:45I mean, Terry McLaurin.

28:45This one's a really interesting one.

28:47He is still a very good player.

28:49Last week was a very difficult matchup and this week is a very easy matchup.

28:51He's going to.

28:52You could have gone Stefan Diggs, man.

28:53He's going to Dallas.

28:54I could have gone Stefan Diggs, but I think that in this matchup against Dallas with the highest

28:58over under of the week outside of tonight's game of the weekend slate, Terry is a great

29:05bounce back candidate.

29:06I think he's got wide receiver to upside and probably in most leagues should be started.

29:13I got a couple nasty boys here for you.

29:15We're going huge against the Las Vegas Raiders.

29:19I actually like it a lot.

29:20Lad McConkie is beat up.

29:22Maybe he plays.

29:23Maybe he doesn't.

29:24But if he if Lad plays, he's going to be in a big puffy coat.

29:28So we'll see if that affects how he can play.

29:30There was part of me that's like, man, if you have to wear a flak jacket for your ribs,

29:33it's got to be better for the bigger guys.

29:35Like it's a higher percentage of his body weight.

29:39In six career games versus the Raiders, he has averaged six targets and over 11 fantasy

29:44points per game.

29:45The Chargers are big, almost a touchdown favorite.

29:48So I like him as a if you're looking at your wide receiver room going, man, I don't I just

29:53don't know who to play.

29:54I think huge is going to work.

29:56I saw something that it was like 20 percent of his career production has come against

30:00the Raiders.

30:01It makes sense.

30:02Yeah.

30:03Yeah, that's wild.

30:04All right.

30:05This is my I mean, maybe this is that button over there, Mike.

30:07Maybe I need to.

30:08Oh, you want.

30:09Why don't you put something on for me?

30:10Whoa.

30:11We're at that point already.

30:13Put the shorts on.

30:13Well, I guess I just think that this guy's earned them.

30:16Just steal.

30:17Oh, no, I found it.

30:18I just need to steal.

30:21Steal underpants.

30:21I hate this.

30:23I mean, it feels like you have to wear them for this guy.

30:25Mark Andrews started the week against New Orleans.

30:28I feel like this is just so that I don't drop them.

30:30You want to make me start them.

30:32Ravens offense looked good in week one.

30:34There's a trick.

30:35James.

30:35It's a trap.

30:37We don't.

30:38I mean, Lane's on IR.

30:39Zay Flowers is banged up.

30:41We don't know 100 percent whether he'll be 100 percent.

30:45And Mark Andrews still targeted on 26 percent of the route, still a viable red zone target.

30:49I think we get a touchdown this week.

30:52A touchdown guarantee.

30:54Oh, my touchdown guarantee.

30:56OK.

30:57Mark Andrews.

30:58I guess.

30:58First one of the year.

30:59I guess I won't be dropping Mark Andrews.

31:02Got him.

31:04However, my start of the week is a guy who scored fewer than Mark Andrews did last week.

31:09Colston Loveland, which I hope this is like the only time this year we're allowed to make

31:14him a start of the week.

31:15And it was just like a well, duh.

31:17Of course, you're going to start Colston Loveland.

31:19Goosed last week.

31:20But he had the second highest route participation of any tight end in week one.

31:25There were 280 rushing yards or something that, you know, came from the Bears.

31:30They did not need Colston Loveland.

31:32I think against Minnesota they will.

31:35He's a great player.

31:36Obviously, you drafted him.

31:38You're not going to move off.

31:38But I think it's going to be a good week.

31:40Well, you know what?

31:41The actual problem people are going to have with Loveland, which is why this is a great

31:45idea to bring him up again, is that there's going to be people with Loveland and Goddard.

31:49And they played Loveland and Goddard was on the bench.

31:51Or Goddard was on waiver wires and they picked him up.

31:53And now you're staring down a guy that had two touchdowns in a 20-point week versus a goose.

31:57Start Loveland.

31:58There you go.

31:59I'm going with Dr. Schultz, a.k.a. Dalton Schultz of the Houston Texans.

32:05Cincinnati.

32:07I mean, that's actually too generous probably for what the doctor puts out on the field.

32:13It's a great start.

32:14We talked about like.

32:15But Nico is hurt.

32:17And we just got some news that Nico, not practicing today, diagnosed with a grade one hamstring injury.

32:23So we'll see if he's able to go or even be a full-time player if he does play.

32:29But the doctor, man, against the Cincinnati, who they've been historically bad against the

32:34tight end.

32:36And he just, you got to.

32:38Where else are you going to go with the football?

32:41I expect him to have a decent target share.

32:44Much better in a PPR situation.

32:46But the doctor, when you call on him and you really need him, he tends to show up.

32:51Nico not practicing today.

32:53Yep.

Fantasy Forecast

33:15Fantasy Forecast.

33:17Presented by PrizePix.

33:21All right.

33:22Week two.

33:23Away we go.

33:24We previewed the Thursday night football game, which we're so excited for on yesterday's

Panthers at Falcons

33:28show.

33:29Starting with Carolina.

33:32Oh, and one.

33:33It was an impressive week.

33:34There were a handful of teams that just had great week ones that ended up oh and one.

33:38And you're like, man, that's it.

33:40Where's the league median for you?

33:42Yeah, like my listener league team.

33:44Carolina 0-1.

33:45Atlanta 0-1.

33:46Game's in Atlanta.

33:47Vegas line.

33:48Carolina on the road.

33:49Minus two and a half.

33:50The over-under is 43 and a half.

33:52We don't know who's going to be the quarterback.

33:56In fact, Atlanta came out and said, we're not ruling anybody out.

33:59That means we're not ruling out Cooper Rush.

34:01We're not ruling out Tua Tungavailoa.

34:03We're not ruling out Michael Penix Jr.

34:05And we're not ruling out Jack Strand.

34:06Yeah.

34:07You shouldn't have four that you can't rule out.

34:09Jack the giant killer.

34:10Look, it can't be Cooper Rush.

34:13I'm trusting Stefanski here to play someone else.

34:18That's my – look, I think Atlanta will win the game if they don't start Cooper Rush.

34:23That is what I actually believe.

34:23I think if Michael Penix holds out for three more games, he might get a contract extension.

34:29Yeah.

34:30That's a great – Michael Penix is –

34:33Four more games, Arthur Blank's putting him in the ring of honor.

34:36He's been 110% for months, but he knows with the people ahead of him.

34:40Oh, man, it's just getting better for him.

34:41No, it's great.

34:42Tua is not – I haven't seen it today, but Tua did not practice yesterday.

34:46Okay, Rush did practice.

34:48It's going to be Cooper Rush, man.

34:50If it's Cooper Rush, can you start Drake London?

34:54No.

34:57It's hard because –

34:58I mean, maybe not.

34:59Maybe not is the right answer because you might not have another option.

35:01But look, I'll put it this way.

35:04If you have Drake London and Jalen Coker and Cooper Rush is a starting quarterback,

35:10I would play Jalen Coker.

35:11Yeah, I would too.

35:12Yeah, for sure.

35:12I mean, I'll run through some names.

35:14It won't feel good, but it will be the right.

35:16We'll get nastier, but Devontae Adams.

35:18Yeah, I would play Adams.

35:21Rome.

35:22A Dunze.

35:23I would play Rome.

35:26Okay, Chris Godwin against Cleveland.

35:29That's where I'd go.

35:30No, Godwin looked bad, man.

35:31Yeah, Godwin did look bad.

35:33We didn't say it on yesterday's show, takes you like, takes you don't like.

35:35That would have been in my shaky take situation, the Godwin performance.

35:40Okay.

35:40Yeah, I mean, I like how Kyle organized these quarterbacks.

35:44He is the Atlanta fan here, and Kyle, feel free to speak up.

35:47But he said, Tua didn't want to play.

35:50Cooper Rush did not play well.

35:51Michael Penix Jr. not allowed to play.

35:53That's the way that it works right now.

35:54Yeah.

35:55You can start B. John.

35:56Would you play Metcalf or Drake London?

35:59I'd play Metcalf.

36:00If it's Cooper Rush.

36:03Here's the thing.

36:04You can't make it.

36:05Look, I've said enough good things about D.K. Metcalf.

36:07You can't do that to me.

36:08Here's what I.

36:10How's the game going to go?

36:11You have to trust a little bit the line, right?

36:14Atlanta wants to do this.

36:15They want to get ahead by a few points and run B. John and pass to B. John

36:20and just live that way with the defense and the running game.

36:24Do you think Carolina's getting up two, three scores against Atlanta?

36:26I don't think that's going to happen in Atlanta.

36:29That would be your one scenario where Cooper Rush has to fade back and throw a

36:32pick and then throw to London and then throw a pick.

36:35Yeah, it probably doesn't happen.

36:36I also think that.

36:38I don't want to play Kyle Pitts.

36:39What we've seen for the last two years with the Carolina Panthers defense is

36:41that they have no ability to stop the run.

36:44They are.

36:45They are world-class bad at stopping the run.

36:48We saw that against DeAndre Swift and common on guy last week.

36:51B. John has every opportunity to be the number one running back on the week

36:55this week.

36:55He was 63% of Atlanta's receiving yards.

36:58Yeah, that's just, it's like you're great and it's broken there.

37:01Yeah.

37:02So I would expect this to be a close game where Atlanta's focus is B. John and try to play

37:08good defense.

37:08Kyle thinks it's going to be a rush.

37:11I mean, right now it almost has to be.

37:13Unless Tua gets healthy this week, it doesn't seem like Penix is going to be.

37:16His name is perfect.

37:17Cooper Rush.

37:18Just Rush when he's in there.

37:19Yeah.

37:19Yeah.

37:20Bryce Young, Chuba Hubbard, Tett McMillan and Coker, Darren Waller.

37:25Waller is somebody I'm keeping a close eye on because the snap count should rise over

37:30time.

37:31He had a touchdown called back.

37:33I think he will be a red zone target.

37:34I'm just throwing that out there.

37:36But where are we with these other options?

37:39I think the other options are fine to play.

37:43Jonathan Brooks, I should say, too.

37:44You saw week one.

37:45I'm not playing Brooks.

37:46I would agree.

37:47You can't play Brooks until, Brooks should be rostered.

37:50You should be excited.

37:50You should be watching him.

37:52And hopefully it gets closer to a 50-50 timeshare since he was coming back from an injury.

37:55But the utilization he had last week, you can't rely on him getting a 40-yard.

37:59He's still in a boot camp.

38:00Reception.

38:01So the wide receivers, both Tettero and McMillan and Jalen Coker, I think should be started as

38:08wide receiver twos.

38:10The Falcons looked okay in week one on defense.

38:14They shut down the Pittsburgh Steelers running backs.

38:17Yeah, but that could be – I'm talking about the wide receivers.

38:19Oh, sure.

38:20For the wide receivers, they looked okay.

38:22They were terrible last year.

38:24Last year they were like 30th.

38:25This year it was okay, but how much of that's Aaron Rodgers?

38:28So I think I'm okay starting McMillan and Coker.

Vikings at Bears

38:32Yeah, I am too.

38:33The Minnesota Vikings at 1-0 take on the 1-0 Chicago Bears in Chicago.

38:37Vegas line, Chicago minus 4-1-1.

38:39Over under 47-1-1.

38:42Jason, you made Aaron Jones your start of the week.

38:44We just talked about it.

38:45Price picks is projection for him.

38:47Rushing receiving is 79-1-1.

38:49Wow.

38:51They expect a lot of Aaron Jones involvement.

38:53Whoa.

38:54And this is where – it's really hard in a divisional matchup like this to say that

38:59they're going to put Claiborne in there very much at all.

39:02I just don't think he'll have a lot of opportunities, and neither does Price picks, apparently.

39:07Yeah, the quotes this week from Kevin O'Connell were basically that DJ Dallas will have an increased role.

39:16Who they just signed.

39:18Yeah.

39:18Or called up, sorry.

39:19And that Claiborne needs to work on his pass protection.

39:25Justin Jefferson, 39.1% target share in week one.

39:28What do we think of that?

39:30Sounds like Carson Wentz.

39:31Fantastic.

39:31Yeah, I mean, we saw this with Carson Wentz last year.

39:34He played five games as the starter, and Justin Jefferson was on pace for about 180 targets.

39:40He's going to soak it all up.

39:41That's partially why I don't think you can really play Jordan Addison.

39:45Granted, we don't know for sure that Carson Wentz is starting, but I wouldn't necessarily – I mean, the matchup is really nice for the wide receivers,

39:53so maybe you can throw Addison in there, but I think there's enough people around the league that would start over him.

40:00Yeah, I wouldn't do it.

40:00Chicago was the fourth team ever to allow 35 points and win by 20 or more.

40:04They gave up so many points last week, but that's the way the game went, and now they're at home.

40:10Minnesota, the good matchup.

40:12We expect it to be Carson Wentz.

40:13We'll see.

40:14Caleb, yes.

40:15Swift, uh-huh.

40:16Monongai?

40:17Sure.

40:18Yeah, I mean, the Vikings defense is stout against the run, so when you look at a guy that's going to get limited touches,

40:26you have to say, what are your odds it's a touchdown.

40:28I think they go down this week for Monongai.

40:31Yeah, I'm not wanting to start Monongai, personally.

40:34In the first three quarters, the split between Swift and Monongai were drastic.

40:40You know, Monongai had like four carries, I think, at that point going into the fourth quarter.

40:44It was like 13 or 14 for Swift.

40:48It was a very wide gap.

40:49Then as the fourth quarter, they pulled away one by 20.

40:52They just gave Monongai the end of the game.

40:54Now, granted, he was coming back off of an injury, so maybe we will see more involvement,

40:58but Minnesota's a great defense, so I wouldn't want to start the backup running option.

41:03No more expectations of Khalif Raymond getting a 34.6% target share after week one?

41:09He better not.

41:10I picked him up a couple places.

41:11I will say this.

41:13He's who you need to keep your eyes on.

41:14Snap percentage.

41:15If Rome is healthy now and is fine, and Rome played 48% of the snaps.

41:19If he goes up and plays, you know, what we would expect, and he's up at 70% of the snaps,

41:24and Khalif Raymond is gone, and you could see these three wide receivers, wide receivers being

41:29Colson Loveland is one of them, playing the majority of snaps, I think we'll see what we

41:32were hoping for.

41:33But if this week Khalif Raymond goes out there and is playing 50% or 60% of the snaps because

41:37he knows the system.

41:38He came over from Ben Johnson with the Detroit Lions.

41:41He's just a good enough veteran player to mix in, and they've got packages for him all

41:46the time.

41:46I think that's going to prove to be really problematic for Luther Burden, for Roma Dunze, and potentially

41:51for Colson Loveland if there's a fourth mouth to feed.

41:54I think Raymond is year 10 for Raymond.

41:56I think you look at him a lot like Kendrick Bourne in week one for Arizona, where the

42:00involvement, it was high.

42:01The defensive packages accounted for a Dunze and Burden and didn't account for Raymond to

42:07be able to have such a big role.

42:08Yeah.

42:08So it was impressive.

42:10And what I love is I just like Caleb taking what's available.

42:13You're going to be a better quarterback.

42:14By the way, 72% completion percentage in week one.

42:17That's a good start.

42:18Never had a game like that last year.

42:20That was the struggle.

42:2210 carries, 65 rushing yards last week for Caleb Williams.

42:26Get ready for this week.

42:27I mean, Minnesota blitz on 74% of plays last week, the highest in the NFL.

42:31Flores is a master.

42:33I mean, Minnesota won.

42:36They didn't seem like a team after losing Kyler two seconds into this game that with the deficit

Eagles at Titans

42:40they had against the Packers, they could win that game.

42:42And it was the defense that stepped up.

42:44Philadelphia 1-0 taking on the 0-1 Tennessee Titans.

42:47Now, what Philly minus seven on the road.

42:53Over under 39.5.

42:54To me, that line is actually respectful.

42:57It is indicative of Philly's offense not looking great.

43:01And in my opinion, this line would be bigger in a normal situation.

43:05Yeah.

43:0639.5 is a low score, though.

43:08It's still a touchdown favorite on the road.

43:12You should take that as disrespect.

43:13Did you watch Tennessee?

43:14No, yeah.

43:14That's so respectful of Tennessee.

43:17Tennessee deserves to be minus 14.5 based on what we've seen in week one and most of last year.

43:24They scare the tarnation out of me, and they need Cam Ward to take a step forward.

43:31I was really blown away when I looked.

43:33Are you going to try to trade your my guy for a different my guy?

43:34Oof.

43:35They call that a Dante Pettis.

43:39Yeah.

43:39No.

43:40Never had an in-season trade before.

43:41That's true.

43:43No, I still believe in the talent of Carnell Tate.

43:47Price picks has his projection at six and a half targets.

43:50Is that enough?

43:52Probably not from Cam Ward.

43:53Yeah.

43:54Probably needs like 12 or 13 targets from Cam Ward to catch eight of them.

43:57But I'm hopeful going forward.

44:01This is not a good matchup against the Eagles.

44:04I expect the Eagles defense to completely shut down the Titans offense.

44:08And if I can bench Carnell Tate for another wide receiver two option, I would.

44:15Carnell wait and see.

44:16Yeah.

44:17Don't play him.

44:17I'm not playing any Titan.

44:20You can't make me do it.

44:22I was going to say it.

44:22And now I'm sticking to it.

44:24You can't make me do it.

44:25If I was to start one, it would be Carnell Tate still.

44:28I think he has the ability to take any play to the house.

44:31The running backs is, you know, you thought the disgusting late round pick of Tony Pollard

44:37is like, well, at least we know.

44:38He's a starter.

44:38He's a starter.

44:39I mean, they were a 50-50 split.

44:42The routes, the snaps, you know, it was, Tajay was on there just as much as Tony Pollard was.

44:49Dallas Goddard is the, he's got one player, Devontae Adams, that has more receiving touchdowns

44:54since the beginning of 2025 than him.

44:56Do you realize this?

44:58This is not, this is, this is a long run here.

45:01I love, I love Goddard as one of the breakout guys this year.

45:04I mean, I know you've talked about Kincaid.

45:05There's some other guys that may have staying power.

45:08I think Goddard does.

45:09Duntavian Wicks, spot start?

45:11Yeah.

45:12Valet or Wicks?

45:15Oh, between the two of them?

45:17I'm going to go Valet.

45:18I think I'll get more targets.

45:19And I could see this turning into a rushing game for the Eagles.

45:23Pat Bryant or Wicks?

45:25Wicks.

45:26Okay.

45:27Wicks is numbers of like routes.

45:30Snap count.

45:31And snap count and everything.

45:32Like, it's, it's strong.

45:34It's, you, you, the targets weren't there as much as you would like if you're,

45:38uh, Dontavian Wicks, truth or a player.

45:41But step one is he's out there.

45:45Yeah.

45:4594% of route participants.

45:47He is there too.

45:48So that has a lot of value.

45:50Um, we'll take a break.

45:51We'll talk some more matches.

45:52What's up, Foot Clan?

45:58You are confident and disciplined and focused on details, just like everyone here at the

46:02Fancy Footballers, right?

46:03Those are words you've used to describe us.

46:05In other words, you were made to drive the 2026 Sierra 1500 Denali, a full-size pickup

46:12combining capability with elevated design and advanced technology.

46:17You can seek out the exceptional with the Denali.

46:20Their standard 5.3 liter V8 engine and 10-speed automatic transmission.

46:27It's got a bold design.

46:28We like bold designs.

46:30They got the signature Denali grill, Papa Josh, you know, the signature grill, the chrome

46:35header, patterned aluminum trim.

46:38Inside, you've got all that comfort.

46:40Uh, you know, Jason's a comfort guy.

46:41We like the comfort.

46:42Comfort reins with leather seating surfaces and 12-way power front seats with power lumbar.

46:48You can learn more right now at gmc.com slash Sierra 1500.

46:55What's up, Foot Clan?

46:56I have been in the tech and media business for my entire life.

47:00I built hundreds and hundreds of websites.

47:03And so one of the things that was the fundamental, most important thing about making it official,

47:07whether it's a website for our league, which we've done many times,

47:11or a website for a business or a website my son is registering to be able to build his business,

47:17it's the domain name.

47:19You want to get the domain name.

47:20You want to make it official.

47:22And Wix makes it ridiculously easy to purchase a domain today.

47:26And if you've been around this area of the internet for a long time,

47:31it's also really appreciated that you can go to Wix, get a domain,

47:35and you don't have a 12-step funnel with a bunch of add-ons that you have to tack on to your order.

47:41And they're also on the forefront of just turning that around and making an amazing website right away.

47:47You're talking about the opportunity to use AI.

47:49They have this Wix Harmony one prompt.

47:53Build a site for your company, for your league, for whatever you've got going on.

47:57You can make it official by picking up a domain name with Wix, and they make it super simple.

48:02You get business email and the website, all of that stuff.

48:05So you can claim your domain at Wix.com.

48:07That's Wix.com.

48:14Pittsburgh 1-0, New England 0-1.

48:17Of course.

48:19New England minus 5.5.

48:21Home opener for them over under is 41.5.

48:23Last year it was 21-14 in week three.

48:31Pittsburgh won that game.

48:32Goodness gracious.

48:33The defense won.

48:34So the Patriots lost to the Raiders and Pittsburgh?

48:38Yeah, I mean the defense is.

48:39Pittsburgh won the division.

48:40Yeah, they're good.

48:41Yeah, but it's weird.

48:42In the hindsight, you'd be like,

48:44well that was the team that went to the Super Bowl for the AFC.

48:49That's gross.

48:50They had that sketch.

48:51Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

48:53Well.

48:55Oh no.

48:56Oh no.

48:59Andy's almost upset of the week.

49:05I.

49:06They almost lost to the Falcons.

49:09Yeah, I don't know, man.

49:11With Cooper.

49:11Yeah.

49:12Look, the second I hit that button,

49:14the Falcon was nodding real quick.

49:16Are you on board with that one, Falcon?

49:17I dig it.

49:18Yeah, I mean, I don't like it.

49:21You don't like that the Falcon's on board?

49:22I get it.

49:23No, I mean, I don't like that I pushed that button.

49:27The over-under is very low.

49:28Okay, that's number one.

49:30It's a pretty big line.

49:31That's number two.

49:33You lose A.J. Brown,

49:35and from the moment that he went down,

49:37I didn't see cohesion in the offense.

49:40I didn't.

49:41I think there's a lot of pressure on Drake May this week.

49:43A lot.

49:44Yes, I would agree with that.

Steelers at Patriots

49:46And you're at home.

49:47Pittsburgh is hard-nosed.

49:49They play tough.

49:50The defense is formidable.

49:52In week one, I know it's just one week.

49:54I mean, they gave up seven points to, I mean, that was Atlanta, right?

49:57It was Drake London, did nothing.

49:59You know, I don't want to say, you know, you have T.J. Watt.

50:04He had the big defensive play.

50:05I just think it'll be a close game.

50:06They might not win it.

50:08That's why that button says almost in it.

50:09I get away with both.

50:11But, look, this game is an interesting one to me,

50:14and Drake May right now is an interesting start decision for people

50:16because you lose the oomph, right?

50:20You lose the big A.J. Brown upside situation,

50:23and you look at it now, and it's like, my gosh,

50:26why did you get rid of Kayshawn Booty?

50:28That's what I'm looking at with the Patriots.

50:31It's like, Kayshawn Booty was your big play.

50:33It worked great with McDaniels all the time,

50:36and instantaneously you lose A.J. Brown

50:39and you ship this guy off for nothing.

50:41And you need somebody else to step up,

50:42and you're telling me, oh, it's got to be Romeo Dobbs

50:44and Matt Collins and Demario Douglas.

50:46If there was ever a time, Romeo.

50:48Romeo, Romeo.

50:50Wherefore art thou, Romeo?

50:51You were not there last year, last week.

50:53The utilization of Romeo Dobbs coming off of the contract

50:57was very head-scratching of, like,

51:02that feels like there's information that we don't have access to

51:06because you're like, how do you pay a guy that much money

51:08and then you're playing him, like, half of the snaps.

51:10And there's some social media whispers of Kyle Williams

51:16getting more play this week.

51:17Yeah, I think that's good for the Patriots.

51:19They need electricity.

51:20They need something that pops.

51:22Yeah, the question with Drake May.

51:23I think that's not Pop Douglas because that's not electricity.

51:25No.

51:25The question with Drake May is, like, who would you start over him?

51:29A couple of guys.

51:29Purdy, for sure.

51:30I would start Purdy.

51:31I would start Jackson Dart.

51:32I would start Jordan Love.

51:33I would start Jared Goff.

51:34Goff tonight?

51:35Yes, absolutely.

51:36Those four guys, I would start over May.

51:38I've got May as my quarterback 12, so he's still in there.

51:41And don't hear us saying that Drake May sucks for the rest of the year.

51:44This is awesome.

51:45This is matchup.

51:45This is, like, low over under after losing your top receiver

51:49and not seeing anything good last week.

51:51Just something to be cautious about.

51:52They do get Travion Henderson back.

51:54Travion's back.

51:55He was a full participant in practice on Wednesday.

51:57So a Wednesday full participation means he's almost certainly playing this week

52:01coming off of an ankle.

52:02I would expect that.

52:03I don't know if he'll have limited snaps based on coming off the injury

52:07or variables hatred for him, either one.

52:11But they need him.

52:12They need some, like you just said, they need juice.

52:13They need electricity.

52:14They need explosiveness in this offense.

52:17If you had to play one wide receiver for the Patriots as a spot start,

52:23what's the name?

52:25Disgusting.

52:27Let's put him in the flex, and you're allowed to say Hunter Henry too.

52:30It should be Romeo Dobbs.

52:32How do you not go Mac Hollins?

52:35That's the craziest part.

52:37It should be Romeo Dobbs.

52:39Yeah, I think I go.

52:40I think it's Mac.

52:42I think I go Mac as well.

52:46Farts.

52:48Drake May completed three of eight attempts beyond ten yards in week one.

52:52And three picks.

52:53When we ascertain who the number one wide receiver start would be,

53:00and it's a Mac Hollins with farts, I see you're almost upset.

53:05Okay.

53:05This offense does not look like they are primed right now.

53:10You're going to need a lot from Ramondre,

53:12or you're going to need something special from Travion.

53:14They've got to do it in the running game, I think.

53:17And, you know, that's tough.

53:19Last year, at least, the Steelers were the second most difficult matchup for running backs.

53:25And, yeah, let me say, in week one,

53:28Bijan beat the crap out of the Steelers with receiving.

53:31We do generally see the running backs take over for absences in the secondary,

53:35so Ramondre and Travo might get targeted a lot.

53:38The one thing I'll say is that Vrabel's team generally bounce back from defeat in a good way,

53:42so maybe they get it done.

53:43Are you starting Rico or Jalen Warren?

53:45I'd pass on both this week.

53:47Agreed.

53:47I would try to as well.

53:50You know, the –

53:50It's worth noting Rico had more snaps but less utilization from Jalen Warren.

53:57That is such a confusing situation where I'm like, so who gets the work this week?

54:02Watching them, they were both bad.

54:05Oh, yeah.

54:05Like, Warren was 10 for 46.

54:08Rico was terrible.

54:09In the second half, like, Warren ripped off two decent runs.

54:13But the majority, you know, six targets for Jalen Warren, five for 27 versus two for six.

54:19But most of Warren's reception yards came on a trick play.

Packers at Jets

54:24Green Bay is 0-1.

54:26They take on the New York Jets who are 1-0.

54:28That is a sentence I wasn't sure we'd say ever.

54:33But there you have it.

54:34Vegas line, Green Bay on the road, three-and-a-half point favorites,

54:36over under 44-and-a-half.

54:38That's not a huge line.

54:41That's just not a huge line.

54:43It's not.

54:44This game is outstanding because –

54:49Al won't work for us.

54:51He will not be here.

54:52The Jets could be 2-0.

54:55I know.

54:56Which means the Packers are 0-2.

54:58I know.

54:58Like, this would be –

55:00That's not happening.

55:01Unbelievable.

55:01Look, I'm going to give some credit while we can.

55:04This was our policy putting on the Cardinals gear.

55:06I'm going to give credit to the Jets in week one.

55:09I'm going to give credit to Geno Smith for completing 79% of his passes.

55:12That was old-school Geno.

55:14I'm going to give credit to Frank Reich,

55:16who had the fifth-highest play-action rate in week one

55:18and did some things that actually seemed smart.

55:20Get some motion, bro.

55:21Put some players in positions to succeed.

55:24He had a play where he had five tight ends on the field.

55:27Yeah.

55:28I'm going to give credit to their offensive line.

55:30How many sacks did they give up?

55:31No, absolutely.

55:32The time that Geno Smith had to throw the ball,

55:36was outstanding compared to what this offensive line was last year.

55:40They put a lot of investment in it, and there was a hope.

55:42You always have these teams that are like,

55:44ah, they had a bad offensive line.

55:45They tried to improve it.

55:46Hopefully it's a little better.

55:47One week only, and, you know, they were against the Titans.

55:51But the offensive line looked massively improved.

55:55Geno was, what, the most pressured, most-sacked quarterback last year in Las Vegas?

55:59That must have been a relief, fading back to pass and having a chance.

56:02Playbreece Hall, he had a great week one.

56:04Garrett Wilson, yes.

56:06Keep your eye on Kenyon Sadiq.

56:08And that's it.

56:08And that's it.

56:09On the other side, Christian Watson, what a week.

56:10I think you can play him and Matthew Golden unquestionably.

56:13You know, Golden led the team in routes and target share.

56:16Golden is such a good trade-for target.

56:18I think so, too.

56:18I agree.

56:19I mean, what we saw in week one was the hope,

56:22and he did enough to where it's like, hey,

56:24he did stuff with the ball in his hands.

56:26Last year he was a halftime player.

56:28He played around 50% of the snaps in his rookie season.

56:31Twelve targets.

56:31And this year, week one, 82% of the snaps, he led the receiving core in snaps.

56:38So bright days are ahead for Matthew Golden.

56:42What about for Marshawn Lloyd?

56:44Oh, man.

56:45You hope that he shows something here, right?

56:47Like, last week, very difficult matchup.

56:50Looked outrageously bad.

56:52Jumped around behind the line.

56:54Just looked indecisive.

56:57Bad vision.

56:58Nothing good.

56:58Like, I didn't see anything from Chris Brooks or Lloyd to make me believe.

57:03However, they were going up against a really, really elite defense,

57:06and this week they get the Jets.

57:08So I wouldn't be surprised if Marshawn Lloyd rips off, you know,

57:11two or three 20-yard runs and looks outstanding.

57:14So I think we just got to pump the brakes on the judgment from week one.

57:18I think you could still probably start Marshawn Lloyd because he's going to get carries

57:22in a decent matchup while they're favored.

57:2444% snaps compared to 55% for Chris Brooks last week.

57:30Yes, but 13 carries compared to seven carries.

57:33So when Lloyd was on the field.

57:34Makes me nervous at a minimum.

57:35Yeah, for sure.

57:36I can get that.

57:37But the carries were for Marshawn Lloyd.

57:39The routes were.

57:41Chris Brooks, I don't believe, ran a route.

57:44Huh?

57:44I don't think he ran a route, did he?

57:46Chris Brooks?

57:48I guess he had 2% target share last week.

57:51Yeah, no, he ran some routes.

57:52One target.

57:54Just saying.

57:55Like, it was split.

57:58If you drafted Lloyd, that's not how you wanted the season to start.

Browns at Buccaneers

58:01But I think it improves for him.

58:04The Cleveland Browns, 0-1 taking on the 0-1 Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

58:08Tampa Bay, 8.5-point favorites.

58:10Over-unders, 41.5.

58:14Give me the bucks and the points here.

58:17Jason went on a tirade, flushing the whole Browns team down the drain yesterday.

58:22It was a dirty bull.

58:26It'll get better in week three with Shadour.

58:29It's going to be Watson again.

58:31Do you start?

58:32Let's make this one quick and easy.

58:34No, there's no Browns.

58:34Do you start a Brown?

58:35No.

58:36Okay.

58:36Baker Mayfield, probably not tempted to start him this week.

58:41I'm perfectly fine playing him.

58:43You're fine with it?

58:43Yeah.

58:43Would you play Goff or Baker?

58:45Goff.

58:46Yeah, I wouldn't goff.

58:47But I'm just saying, like, Baker is still, he still has high potential.

58:52Would Jacksonville beat the crap?

58:55Like, Trevor Lawrence was awesome.

58:56They beat the crap out of the Browns.

58:57And if they get way up, it's because Baker was a part of it.

59:00Would Bucky, Abuka, log out?

59:03Are you just, like, benching and watching Gainwell and Godwin?

59:09It was more than the actual output for Godwin that concerned me.

59:15Yeah.

59:15He didn't look spry.

59:18Four for 40 last week on four targets.

59:2186% of snaps, 6.3 fantasy points.

59:23To me, I'd rather watch and get a little more upside somewhere else.

59:27But maybe, like, I'd play Vele over Godwin.

59:29Yeah.

59:30Wow.

59:30I agree.

59:31Yeah.

59:32You must hate Godwin.

59:33He didn't look good.

59:34I was just trying to give you a win here, Mike.

59:36Trying to give you one.

59:38Well, my win was I started Vele last week.

Saints at Ravens

59:41And won.

59:42And it was awesome.

59:43Yeah.

59:43New Orleans, 0-1.

59:44Speaking of Vele, taking on the 1-0 Baltimore Ravens.

59:48Baltimore minus 8.5.

59:49So, you know, you have a situation here.

59:50Same line.

59:51These two games.

59:52Really?

59:53This one, I saw it this morning.

59:55Really?

59:558.5?

59:56Wow.

59:56I saw it this morning, and I was like, wow, that is.

59:58Respect what they did in week one.

1:00:00Week one.

1:00:01Jeez.

1:00:02That's crazy.

1:00:038.5.

1:00:04Over a touchdown.

1:00:05They just win.

1:00:06It was a whooping by Baltimore in week one, and the Saints had a nice comeback.

1:00:12It looked real bad for a while.

1:00:13I do think it's a pretty big one.

1:00:15Well, it looked.

1:00:16They did have to have a comeback, but, I mean, number one, Shuck was just horrifically bad

1:00:24for the beginning of the first half.

1:00:27Completed 46% of his passes, 85 passing yards.

1:00:30But, like, that game was very tight for a long time.

1:00:33Yeah, 7-0, 14-0.

1:00:34Like, the Saints' defense, they were holding as long as they could before the Lions started

1:00:41to put up points.

1:00:42And then, I don't know, 8.5 is.

1:00:43It's a tough environment to go to Baltimore and play this team, I think, for Tyler Shuck.

1:00:48There are certain situations, I think, that are maybe more conducive for him.

1:00:53But an outdoor game in Baltimore, I guess that's the viewpoint.

1:00:56I don't know.

1:00:57The overrunner's 46.5.

1:00:59That puts Baltimore at the fourth-highest implied point total of the week.

1:01:03It was an exciting week one for both of these teams and the players therein.

1:01:07I mean, Olave and Vele were great.

1:01:09Shuck ended up great.

1:01:10But only the main situation, I think, of kind of some concern was that Travis H.

1:01:16A.N. Jr., you know, week one, had a lot of opportunities.

1:01:19It didn't turn into a ton of fantasy points.

1:01:21But, you know, kind of similar to maybe A.C.A.N., the real A.C.A.N.'s week.

1:01:28Like, A.C.A.N. Jr. and A.C.A.N. were very similar in, like, a lot of opportunities

1:01:31but not a lot of production.

1:01:32Yeah, but it was only nine carries, but nine targets is – his floor is okay

1:01:42and there will be bigger ceiling games.

1:01:43I'm not saying I'm not a huge Travis A.C.A.N. Jr. fan or supporter,

1:01:48but when you're that utilized, things will improve.

1:01:51How worried are you about Zay Flowers?

1:01:53He did not practice on Wednesday.

1:01:54He did not practice today.

1:01:56I have felt like –

1:01:58He didn't practice at all?

1:01:59Non-participation?

1:02:00Non-participation today.

1:02:01Yeah, we're seeing that come through.

1:02:02I had figured he'll sit at least a week.

1:02:06Thankfully, it's not a long-term thing, but I would expect him to be out.

1:02:09So, Andrew's start of the week, that's part of the why there.

1:02:13I mean, Mike and I's start of the weeks at tight end are exactly the same.

1:02:16Yeah.

1:02:16Nico and Zay Flowers, questionable to play.

1:02:19Injury opportunity.

1:02:19Exactly.

1:02:20Derek Henry, please do.

1:02:21Lamar Jackson, uh-huh.

1:02:23Rashad Bateman, if you're in a pinch, eight-and-a-half point home favorite.

1:02:28I mean, he's going to catch the ball.

1:02:29The wild thing about Zay Flowers being out is –

1:02:32You should be able to just say that.

1:02:34Yeah, but I have no idea.

1:02:37I don't know if it's going to be like Devontae Walker plays heavily in this game

1:02:42and gets some targets.

1:02:44Elijah Surratt has felt buried.

1:02:46How is this an eight-and-a-half point line?

1:02:48Derek Henry.

1:02:50Yep.

1:02:52And Lamar.

1:02:53Yeah, I mean, just the –

1:02:54But it's wild.

1:02:55Rashad Bateman played so many snaps last week.

1:03:00So many snaps.

1:03:01And I believe he had a target.

1:03:03Let me confirm.

1:03:04Yeah, he didn't.

1:03:05One target, no receptions.

1:03:07Played 78% snaps.

1:03:09He should be okay this week.

1:03:10He really should.

1:03:11I think he probably will be.

1:03:1327-and-a-half point implied point total.

1:03:15And you've got Mark Andrews running around.

1:03:17You've got no Jalen Lane anymore.

1:03:19I would have loved to be able to come in here and say Jalen Lane breakout week

1:03:23after Flowers misses.

1:03:25But I think Bateman will be fine.

1:03:27I really do.

1:03:27That's –

1:03:28What stinks is like Rashad –

1:03:29What did I say, Jalen?

1:03:31Jacoby Lane.

1:03:31Sorry.

1:03:32It was like Rashad Bateman.

1:03:33He's got to be up on the Mount Rushmore's of like –

1:03:36It should work.

1:03:37Cardio King.

1:03:38Yes.

1:03:39I would never trust it.

1:03:41It's what I –

1:03:42I would never.

1:03:43I agree with Andy's analysis of it should work for my teams.

1:03:49I'm not doing it.

1:03:50If you give me 97% of snaps with Lamar and two guys missing,

1:03:54I think you're going to be fine.

1:03:55I really do.

1:03:57I totally –

1:03:59I will be the guy attaching my name to Rashad Bateman.

1:04:01I totally think you should be.

1:04:03Right.

1:04:03Yeah.

1:04:03But, Jay, are you going to start Rashad Bateman?

1:04:06No, I would not start.

1:04:06I'm not either.

1:04:07You know there was more snaps than he's played in any game last year?

1:04:11Bateman?

1:04:12Yeah.

1:04:12I just looked at it.

1:04:14And no catches.

1:04:15No.

1:04:15But, I mean, you've got to trust some of those underlying –

1:04:18the opportunities matter.

1:04:20Yeah.

1:04:20Yeah, I don't know.

1:04:21Rashad Bateman, I don't know.

1:04:22He keeps doing it to us.

1:04:23Man, I just feel like –

1:04:24this line is mind-blowing to me.

1:04:28I –

1:04:29The Saints, they've got to stop Derrick Henry.

1:04:33Good luck.

1:04:34He faced –

1:04:35Derrick Henry faced a stack box on 50% of his carries last week

1:04:38and ran for 144 at six a carry.

1:04:41Only 50?

1:04:4250% of the rush attendance.

1:04:43Dang.

1:04:45But, I mean, stack –

1:04:45Declan Doyle's doing good work.

1:04:48You got stack boxes against Henry that low?

1:04:51I mean, I feel like 50% is a lot.

1:04:53No, I don't think so.

1:04:55I can't imagine historically that's what he –

1:04:5750% is very high.

1:04:58Is it?

1:04:58Okay.

1:04:58It's very high.

1:04:59Okay.

1:04:59Yeah.

1:05:00Tyler Shuck, you're probably not messing around this week,

1:05:03or are you playing him?

1:05:04I'm very curious about this.

1:05:06The Ravens, I mean, last week they obviously dominated against the Colts,

1:05:10but were – I'm not sure how much of that was the Colts or not.

1:05:15I probably won't be playing Shuck,

1:05:17but I'm very excited to see how he fares in this matchup.

1:05:20I do think Olave is a must play,

1:05:22and Vele is one of those break glass in case of emergency.

1:05:28I would play Vele over Rashad Bateman personally.

1:05:30Vele or Caleb Douglas?

1:05:32I'd play Vele.

1:05:35I'd play Vele.

Bengals at Texans

1:05:36Vele, Vele.

1:05:38Cincinnati 1-0, Houston 0-1, Vegas line Houston minus 2.5,

1:05:41over-unders 46.5.

1:05:44Two guys that dominated the news and notes today,

1:05:46the Burrow back injury, the Nico Collins injury,

1:05:48which we did have an update.

1:05:49He's not practicing on Thursday,

1:05:52and it was diagnosed as a grade one hamstring injury,

1:05:55which is – it could be worse.

1:05:57Good news news.

1:05:57There's worse grades.

1:05:59Yeah, I mean, like, it can spell a few words.

1:06:02I get it.

1:06:03Thank you.

1:06:04Swish.

1:06:05Yeah.

1:06:06What?

1:06:06No, I'm sorry.

1:06:07That's just the sound that came out.

1:06:09Yeah, it was natural.

1:06:10Okay.

1:06:10We didn't try to.

1:06:11Yeah, like, I feel like we got to get, like,

1:06:13our billboard back up on the back screen real quick

1:06:15or something to fix that situation.

1:06:17I need a shower.

1:06:18I retract.

1:06:18Thank you, Chloe.

1:06:19Okay.

1:06:19All right.

1:06:19I retract my joke.

1:06:20That's not what got us on that billboard, Mike.

1:06:22No, no, no.

1:06:23I'm just saying that joke wasn't.

1:06:24Or maybe it was.

1:06:25All right.

1:06:26Burrow, Brown, Chase, and Higgins.

1:06:29Start them all if they're active.

1:06:31Absolutely.

1:06:32And just understand that I think week one was a little bit

1:06:35of an anomaly for this Texans defense.

1:06:38So I would say that I won't be surprised

1:06:40if there's a bit of a tempered output from these guys again.

1:06:45It's in Houston.

1:06:46And that defense is very good and not as bad as it looked in week one

1:06:51where Josh Allen managed to carve them up.

1:06:55Yeah.

1:06:55So can Burrow with a hurt bat carve up the Houston defense?

1:06:57I don't know.

1:06:58That's the question to me is Burrow's health matters a lot for this game

1:07:02because this is a tough defense.

1:07:05I mean, we went into last week talking about you're going to start Josh Allen

1:07:09because he's Josh Allen.

1:07:10But, reminder, the last time Josh Allen played against this team last year,

1:07:15he was terrible.

1:07:17I don't remember if he even scored 10 fantasy points.

1:07:20It was hard sledding against this defense.

1:07:22Now, obviously, he goes in there with the new scheme

1:07:25and a healthy Dalton Kikade and DJ Moore and dominated.

1:07:28But if Joe Burrow is hurt, that version of him,

1:07:33I don't know if you can carve up the Texans.

1:07:37That is...

1:07:38Just saying, it might be a little slow for week two.

1:07:41I would try to find a different option than Burrow.

1:07:43I would definitely try to find it because you could get knocked out of the game.

1:07:46You could have a reduced performance.

1:07:48You didn't love what you saw in week one regardless.

1:07:50I have Burrow outside my top 12, which feels weird.

1:07:53It feels so weird.

1:07:54Yeah, let me see where I have him because, I mean, Purdy, I would much rather play.

1:07:59Yeah, all those names we said we would play over Drake May,

1:08:02I would play over Joe Burrow.

1:08:03I think the biggest...

1:08:04Not that people have the question.

1:08:05I'm not there where you guys are.

1:08:07He's still a QB8 for me.

1:08:09Okay.

1:08:11Yeah.

1:08:12Like, Purdy is higher in my ranking, so I have him at nine.

1:08:16Would you play Burrow or Herbert against Las Vegas

1:08:19because that matchup is juicy?

1:08:21Potentially.

1:08:21Potentially.

1:08:22I'd play Burrow.

1:08:24We talked about Dalton Schultz already in this game.

1:08:26He started the week for Mike.

1:08:27We talked about the wide receiver pivots.

1:08:30I mean, it could be Kayshawn Booty.

1:08:31It could be Dalton Schultz.

1:08:33It could be Xavier Hutchinson.

1:08:34It could be Jalen Knoll.

1:08:35Jalen Knoll is a...

1:08:37I think Jalen Knoll is a...

1:08:39Like, a good weekend stash type of a player.

1:08:43Monty, three touchdowns last week.

1:08:45Can he repeat the...

1:08:46No, he can't.

1:08:47...the madness.

1:08:47And then Woody Marks, 50% of snaps, and was very efficient on his touches.

1:08:51It wasn't...

1:08:52Like, Monty took the headlines.

1:08:53He got the touchdowns.

1:08:54But just giving, you know, four point...

1:08:57What was he last week for Woody Marks?

1:08:59He was nine for 42.

1:09:004.7 a carry.

1:09:02One target.

1:09:03It will be a committee situation.

1:09:05The percentages will change.

1:09:07Like, situationally, it's like...

1:09:10It's very close to what happened in Jacksonville last week, where it was like, okay, the snaps

1:09:16were really split.

1:09:18Tootin got the work.

1:09:19But it was like...

1:09:20Yeah, Woody was 51%.

1:09:21I think they both were.

1:09:22And it's like Tootin was good on his opportunities.

1:09:26He just didn't score any touchdowns.

1:09:27So, David Montgomery, with a multitude of touchdowns, is...

1:09:33And this is not an anti-Montgomery.

1:09:37It's just a...

1:09:38He won't be what he was in week one.

1:09:41I don't think.

1:09:42Do you care about Mike Gesicki's 5 for 78 in week one?

1:09:45I mean, I looked at the...

1:09:45He is the wildest player.

1:09:47The box score last year, man.

1:09:48He played all the time, and he only had one good game last year.

1:09:51And he was barely on the field.

1:09:53Yeah.

1:09:54He just was...

1:09:56Which is exactly what he was last year, by the way.

1:09:58His snap count percentage last year was 38%.

1:10:00Week one, it was 33%.

1:10:03I would not chase that.

1:10:05I wouldn't chase it right now.

1:10:06He is the guy, though.

1:10:07Fluke!

1:10:08When Jamar and T. Higgins...

1:10:10When one of them misses, you're like, oh, Mike is sick.

1:10:13He's going to see some targets.

1:10:14And apparently, last week, it was when those two guys are deleted from...

1:10:17They're strapped.

1:10:18Yeah, they're seat-belted out there.

1:10:20Then Mike is sick.

1:10:21He's just going to eat.

1:10:22It's weird.

1:10:24Anything else from this game, Jason, you want to touch on?

1:10:26Are we good?

1:10:27Not really.

1:10:27I'm just hopeful that Joe Burrow is healthy enough to take this fantasy star team and not

1:10:33just disappoint drastically this week against the Texans.

1:10:38Yeah.

1:10:38I'm skeptical.

1:10:39At least they have Flacco.

1:10:41They do.

1:10:42That was Fantasy Forecast, presented by PrizePix.
