0:03Well, thank you for having me to come.
0:08Normally, I'm in my own pull pit
0:12on Sunday morning, but this is one of
0:14the few places that I'll come.
0:18And you're in the midst.
0:23You're in the midst of a powerful
0:26revival.
0:27Something is happening at the house.
0:31Something is going on. I thank God for
0:35you. And we're going to get into the
0:37word of God and see what God has to say
0:40for us. We want to minister to everybody
0:42today.
0:44Going to minister to people who are on
0:46milk and that is folks who just got
0:49saved. Folks who are on meat and that is
0:53people who have been saved but now
0:55they're learning to walk by faith. And
0:57people that are on strong meat, people
1:00are not moved by what they what they see
1:02or what somebody says, but they're only
1:05moved by the word of God. And people who
1:08are at the level I call the honey level.
1:11And that's the level that the showers of
1:14blessings are just coming on you and are
1:16overtaking you everywhere you go. So we
1:20want to minister to those four groups.
1:21But also, I want to minister to somebody
1:24in the house that may not know Jesus
1:28>> in your life. You've never really
1:29personally accepted him as Lord and
1:32personal savior. Well, my name is on the
1:35roll down there at some kind of church.
1:37Well, my name was on the roll of about
1:39three churches, but I still wasn't
1:41saved.
1:43You You have to get a personal
1:45relationship with him.
1:48A personal relationship with him.
1:52sitting. Just cuz you're sitting in a
1:53church service doesn't save you any more
1:55than standing in a garage makes you a
1:58car.
1:59>> You got to be saved. You got to be born
2:01again.
2:02And so, we're trusting that if you hear
2:04this message, you hear this message
2:06today, God will prick your heart and
2:07you'll say yes to Jesus. Let's open our
2:09Bibles, please, and let's go over to two
2:12places. That is Proverbs chapter 18
2:16and over to Matthew's Gospel chapter 12.
2:21Proverbs chapter 18 and Matthew chapter
2:2412.
2:27Now, I preached a message in the first
2:30service
2:31which was different than the one that
2:34I'm about to preach now
2:37and
2:39but this one is connected and what
2:42Bishop said is that there has been with
2:46a series of speakers that have been here
2:49at Potter's House that have been coming
2:51through during this revival uh period
2:55uh God has been linking them up together
2:58and I'm trusting that this is going to
3:00be another link in the chain leading up
3:02to uh bishop's sermon himself on Easter
3:06Sunday.
3:09Now, in the first service, just to give
3:12you a an idea,
3:16we
3:17read our scripture text that came out of
3:19Revelations. And I'm going to ask you
3:21just to stay seated because we're going
3:23to read several uh scriptures today. And
3:26and and just stay seated in the presence
3:28of the Lord. Um we were reading out of
3:32Revelation 1:es 5 and 6.
3:36And we read that
3:39that God has made us kings and priests.
3:45Kings and priests.
3:48And the kings and priests
3:52are two anointings in the body of Christ
3:55in the last days. Now this comes from
3:58the Old Testament model where you had
4:01priests who were mainly the tribe of
4:04Levites
4:05and you had kings which were mainly
4:09those which came from the other tribes.
4:12So you can see you had one tribe uh a
4:15handful of priests and you had a
4:18multitude of kings.
4:20Now those two are functioning under
4:24anointings.
4:26The idea about it is uh people look at
4:30the preacher or the person who is
4:33operating in the five-fold ministry as
4:36anointed and that is true. But there's
4:40also an anointing
4:42on the kings.
4:44Those people who are in the pew are
4:48anointed as ministers in the
4:51marketplace.
4:53Whether you be business, whether you be
4:55in a job, whether in law or brick layer
4:58or whatever it is, you're anointed.
5:03And the idea about it is the priest has
5:05a calling on his life. So, he has to be
5:08called and do what God says do. Well,
5:12the good news is is that the kings have
5:14a call on their life. And the gifts and
5:17the callings of God are without
5:20repentance. that says in Romans chap 11.
5:24So that means that God won't take them
5:26back. That God has given you giftings.
5:30Why? Because these giftings that he's
5:32given you are for the advancement of the
5:36kingdom. And they are used to manifest
5:40God's glory in the last days. You see, I
5:44believe that you are a part of the
5:47harvesting generation.
5:50You are the ones that God has been
5:53waiting on and God has called you to
5:58different places. Meaning that he's
6:00called you to one house or another. In
6:04other words, there are people that are
6:05in our church that have come to be
6:08members of our church that really don't
6:10want to be a member of the church down
6:13the street. And there are people who are
6:15down the street that are sitting up
6:17under that pastor or bishop or whoever
6:19it is and they have no desire to come
6:22over our church to be members. Uh there
6:25are people that like some of the other
6:27preachers in Chicago and don't like me.
6:31I can't see why, but they don't like me.
6:35But there are preachers that are like
6:36that uh kings or members that like me
6:39and don't like the other. My point is is
6:42that God puts you in the body as he
6:46will, not as you will. You are called to
6:51a local body. Now you are called as a
6:56king or a priest, meaning priest meaning
7:00five-fold ministry. the apostle, the
7:03prophet, the evangelist, the pastor, the
7:06teacher in full-time ministry or as a
7:09king. And that king could be whatever
7:12your vocation is or what your work
7:15assignment is in the earth. Now
7:18understand, we had the idea one is that
7:21we were just going to work today, but
7:23that's not true. That's your assignment.
7:27And that you are sent in that world with
7:31an anointing to get wealth.
7:34AND THERE IS SOMETHING INSIDE of you
7:38THAT REALLY LIKES TO be engaged in what
7:42you do. In other words, in the Old
7:45Testament, uh the kings, God would bring
7:48them to battle and there was something
7:50in them that had a conquering spirit.
7:54And the SAME THING ABOUT YOU. THERE'S
7:56SOMETHING INSIDE of you that has a
7:59conquering spirit that you want to
8:02conquer things in your environment. SO
8:05GOD has given you that. He has given you
8:08the desires of your heart. He's the one
8:11that directs your path. The Bible says a
8:13man's heart plans his way, but his steps
8:16are ordered by God. And so when you come
8:19GO TO WORK, YOU'RE not just going to
8:21work. So, you're no longer working for a
8:23living. Lord have mercy. You're you're
8:27NO LONGER WORKING FOR A LIVING. NOW,
8:29LET'S LISTEN AT THIS.
8:32If
8:43>> Can I take just a few more minutes and
8:45and and share this with you?
8:50Turn to I I know you got two places
8:52there, right? Well, just put something
8:54in those two places and turn with me
8:56real quick to Luke chapter 17. Luke
8:59chapter 17,
9:09Luke chapter 17.
9:17If you have it, say, "Praise the Lord."
9:19>> Praise the Lord.
9:20>> No. No. Come on. Come on. Now. If you
9:21have it, say, "Praise the Lord."
9:23>> Praise the Lord.
9:24>> All right. Look what it says in verse
9:2620.
9:282020 two. And when he was demanded of
9:31the Pharisees when the kingdom of God
9:33should come, he answered them and said,
9:35"The kingdom of God cometh not with
9:37what?" Observation. Neither shall they
9:40say, "Lo here, low there. Behold, the
9:42kingdom of God is where?
9:45>> Within you." Now understand these people
9:48that were talking with Jesus for the
9:52most part were the religious Pharisees.
9:56They were religious Pharisees.
9:59And it's hard for religious folk to get
10:03revelation.
10:05>> Lord have mercy. I'm going to have to
10:06preach this. I see that now.
10:10See, they they were TRYING TO BUILD UP
10:14SOMETHING FOR THEMSELVES. with something
10:16of their own. Now, here comes Jesus and
10:19they're GOING TO DENY THE FACT THAT HE'S
10:21THE MESSIAH. NOW, he's working miracles.
10:23HE SAID, "HEY, IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE ME,
10:25JUST BELIEVE THE WORKS that I'm doing."
10:27But they denied him. So, he is saying
10:29THE KINGDOM OF GOD, WHICH HE PREACHED
10:31all over, cometh not with observation,
10:36meaning that you don't see it uh coming
10:39outside, but it comes by revelation.
10:43Somebody say revelation.
10:45that God speaks directly to your spirit.
10:50So this is the way the KINGDOM OF GOD
10:52COMES. Now in this once you get born
10:56again
10:57you are born into the kingdom of God.
11:01you uh the Bible says over in Colossians
11:04that we were taken from uh the kingdom
11:07of darkness and translated into the
11:10kingdom of his dear son,
11:14God's dear son Jesus. So we WERE PUT IN
11:18HIS KINGDOM, TAKEN OUT OF THE KINGDOM OF
11:21DARKNESS, put into the kingdom of light.
11:24SO YOU CAN SEE THERE ARE TWO kingdoms
11:27running OUT HERE. AND WHAT YOU'VE SEEN
11:30pervasive in the environments that we're
11:33in in this world system is the KINGDOM
11:35OF DARKNESS. YOU'RE SEEING FOR THE MOST
11:38PART A KINGDOM THAT HAS BEEN ESTABLISHED
11:41OR SET up by man and the enemy IS THE
11:46AUTHOR. BUT WHAT'S HAPPENING IS THERE'S
11:49A NEW SHERIFF IN TOWN. THERE IS A NEW
11:53KINGDOM THAT'S COMING. JESUS SAID, "PRAY
11:57THIS WAY. PRAY THY KINGDOM WHAT? COME.
12:01THY WILL BE WHAT? DONE WHERE?" ON EARTH.
12:04KEEP GOING. AS IT IS IN HEAVEN. You see,
12:07in the beginning, GOD HAD MADE THE
12:11GARDEN OF Eden and put mankind in it.
12:14And he blessed them and SAID, "BE
12:16FRUITFUL, MULTIPLY, REPLENISH THE EARTH,
12:19AND SUBDUE IT." AND WHAT THIS REPLENISH
12:23MEANS, I had to look it up in the
12:24dictionary in the uh 1828
12:28Webster dictionary because that
12:30dictionary has what it mean what it says
12:32in the Bible and then it has what it
12:35means. So we're going back to the Bible.
12:37It means to stock with abundance.
12:41It means to recover former fullness.
12:47Replenish. to recover former fullness.
12:51LET ME SAY IT AGAIN. REPLENISH. Recover
12:55former fullness. THAT MEANS THAT IT WAS
12:59SOMETHING IN THE EARTH BEFORE THERE WAS
13:01NOTHING IN THE EARTH. SO, ADAM'S JOB WAS
13:05TO BE PLACED IN THE GARDEN WHERE HE HAD
13:09every seed that he WOULD NEED AND TO
13:12TAKE THIS seed and go throughout the
13:16earth, PLANTING THE SEED IN THE EARTH TO
13:21RECOVER THE EARTH to former fullness.
13:28Now, what did he do? He sinned. He and
13:32Eve ate OF A TREE GOD TOLD HIM NOT TO
13:35EAT OF AND RESULT OF THAT HE GOT PUT OUT
13:38OF THE GARDEN. NOW HE'S OUTSIDE of the
13:41garden.
13:43THE BIBLE SAYS THAT THE curse came and
13:47it made HIM TOIL FOR EVERYTHING HE COULD
13:51GET. So now uh everything he could get,
13:56HE HAD TO STRUGGLE for it.
13:58NOW, WHAT DID GOD HAVE? A plan called
14:03the plan of redemption. HE WAS GOING TO
14:08get his man back.
14:12>> Come on, somebody. Are Are YOU WITH ME?
14:15>> SEE, WHEN GOD CAN CAN WE TALK? CAN WE
14:18JUST TALK A MINUTE? WHEN God
14:23gave dominion to Adam, he gave it to
14:26him. HE SAID
14:29GOD created man in his own image and in
14:34the image of God created he him male and
14:37female create he them and God said LET
14:42THEM have dominion. Now he didn't say
14:45let us have dominion. Watch this. Let
14:50them have dominion. NOW WHAT DOES
14:52DOMINION MEAN? Rule it to reign over it.
14:54to manage it to to it means ownership.
14:58IT MEANS STEWARDSHIP. IT means for Adam
15:01to take control. Let them WHO IS THEM?
15:05ADAM AND EVE. WHO IS ADAM AND EVE?
15:07MANKIND. SO, LET THEM have dominion.
15:10Now, I have a watch here and I have this
15:13watch. IF I TAKE THIS WATCH OFF, now I'm
15:16just playing now. IF I TAKE THIS WATCH
15:18off and and I give it I'M GIVING IT OVER
15:23NOW. given it. So I'm going to say I'mma
15:25give you this watch. All right, I'm just
15:27playing.
15:30AND I GIVE THIS WATCH. NOW, who has the
15:35watch?
15:36>> He does. WHO DOES NOT HAVE THE WATCH?
15:41SUPPOSE I WANT NEXT week I want TO USE
15:45THE WATCH. WHAT AM I GOING TO HAVE TO do
15:50to use the watch? I'm going to have to
15:53ask his permission.
15:56>> YOU SEE, WHEN GOD TURNED THE EARTH OVER
15:59TO MAN, man got it.
16:04>> NOW, WHAT IS GOD GOING TO HAVE TO DO IF
16:08HE WANTS TO COME IN AND DO SOMETHING?
16:10>> HE'S GOING TO HAVE TO SEEK MAN'S
16:14PERMISSION AND PARTICIPATION. COME ON.
16:17>> NOW, I KNOW SOME OF Y'ALL LOOKING AT ME
16:19STRANGE NOW, BUT SEE YOU WAITING ON GOD,
16:23BUT GOD IS WAITING ON YOU.
16:26>> YOU SEE,
16:29GOD GOD IS NOT THE KIND OF GIVER THAT
16:32WHEN HE GIVES IT TO YOU AND YOU MESS UP,
16:34HE JUST TAKE IT BACK. GIVE ME THAT. NO,
16:36NO, NO. THAT'S WHY WHEN JESUS CAME INTO
16:39THE EARTH, HE HAD TO COME AS A MAN. I
16:43KNOW HE WAS FULLY GOD, BUT HE WAS ALSO
16:46FULLY MAN. AND HE HAD TO COME IN A MAN
16:49AS A MAN BECAUSE ONLY A MAN HAD
16:52AUTHORITY.
16:55ARE YOU FOLLOWING WHAT I'M SAYING? SO
16:58WHAT IS THE BEST TIME? PRAYER TIME. WHY?
17:01BECAUSE PRAYER TIME IS WHEN I GIVE GOD
17:04PERMISSION TO COME IN HERE AND FIX MY
17:07FINANCES AND FIX MY FAMILY AND FIX MY
17:11JOB AND FIX my
17:20>> But what happens? You got prayer and
17:22hardly anybody show up.
17:24>> Now, if you're cooking chicken dinners,
17:26they all be here.
17:28Now, I know that's not this church, but
17:30I'm just saying. You see, you know why?
17:33Lost the revelation that you got
17:34control.
17:36>> Lost the revelation that God is not
17:40trying to stay out of it. He's trying to
17:43get in it. He's saying, "Let me in
17:45there. Hey, Charlie. Let me in. Hey,
17:48hey, uh uh, let me in there, Lacricia.
17:51Let me in there. Let me get Come on now.
17:53Come on. Let me in there." Uh-uh. But we
17:55don't have no time to pray.
17:58Well, I ain't got time for that.
18:02>> This is the same God that can fix any
18:04situation you got.
18:06>> Come on now. The same God.
18:11So, you're not waiting on God.
18:13>> Oh,
18:15[laughter]
18:16hallelujah.
18:24Now he's waiting on you.
18:28So when it comes down to things like
18:30prayer, the enemy tries to make you too
18:32busy or too sleepy.
18:36>> And prayer is one of the most powerful
18:38things that you have as a weapon against
18:41the devil.
18:47So now
18:49when we look at this and look at this
18:52whole idea of us being in this earth now
18:56we've got to take back this earth and
18:59God is putting us together as a team to
19:02take back this earth. And so you have
19:05your kings who are the ones that do
19:07prayer or sacrifice. This is Old
19:10Testament. The ones that would bless
19:12them going out to the nations. I mean,
19:14sometimes we hear things like
19:16benediction, we don't think anything
19:17about it, but the benediction, look,
19:19look at numbers and see how powerful the
19:21benediction is. It's a powerful thing.
19:23It's where you speak blessing into a
19:25person's life. You know, I was playing
19:27tennis. I was taking a few days and we
19:29were down in Orlando, Florida, and I
19:31just taken a few days and I try to go
19:32somewhere where they have tennis courts
19:34because I enjoy playing tennis. And I
19:36was playing and I was playing this uh
19:37this that, you know, I just wanted to
19:39get some more instructions and so forth
19:41from the one of the tennis pros. And I
19:43was out there playing with him and so
19:44forth. And I I mean I was just I was I
19:47wasn't getting beat, I was getting
19:49whooped.
19:50Y'all know what that means. And u and so
19:53forth. And and you know, I was kind of
19:54getting discouraged. And this is what he
19:57said to me. Now, he's he was a believer.
19:59He was a believer.
20:01Pastor Winston, no. He said, "MR.
20:03WINSTON,
20:05NEVER GIVE UP."
20:08SAID, "WHOA."
20:09And when he said it, he then said it
20:12again.
20:14MR. WINSTON, NEVER GIVE UP.
20:18The thing affected me
20:20>> and then he said it. I'M I'M TRYING TO
20:21FIGURE OUT WHY HE KEEPS SAYING THIS. BUT
20:24EACH TIME HE says it,
20:27>> HE SPOKE STRENGTH TO MY SPIRIT. YOU SEE,
20:30YOU'RE NOT NATURAL HAVING A SPIRITUAL
20:33EXPERIENCE. YOU ARE SPIRIT HAVING A
20:37NATURAL EXPERIENCE.
20:43He spoke that to ME AND WE HAD TIME FOR
20:45ONE MORE GAME.
20:47Whooped him.
20:50>> NOW LET LET ME SHOW YOU THAT. TURN WITH
20:52ME over to Deuteronomy chapter 20,
20:56PLEASE. NOW I'M TELLING YOU WHY YOU'RE
20:58COMING IN HERE. YOU'RE NOT COMING IN
21:00HERE JUST A SUNDAY MORNING TRADITIONAL
21:03RITUAL.
21:05THERE'S A REVELATION AS TO WHY YOU'RE
21:07COMING IN HERE. YOU'RE COMING IN HERE
21:09CUZ THERE'S A MAN OF GOD THAT CAN SPEAK
21:12STRENGTH TO YOUR SPIRIT FOR THE BATTLE
21:15YOU'RE ABOUT TO ENCOUNTER NEXT WEEK. AND
21:19HE CAN BE THE DIFFERENCE IN SPEAKING TO
21:21YOUR SPIRIT OF YOU WINNING AND LOSING OR
21:24LOSING.
21:26ARE YOU FOLLOWING WHAT I'M SAYING? AND

21:49WORD FROM GOD CAN CHANGE YOUR LIFE
21:53FOREVER.
21:55YOU COULD HAVE BEEN DEALING WITH
21:56SOMETHING FOR THE LAST 10 YEARS AND ONE
21:59WORD FROM GOD WILL BREAK THE POWER OF
22:03THAT THING OVER YOUR LIFE
22:06AND YOU JUST DON'T LET HIM PREACH. YOU
22:09DRAW OUT OF HIM WHAT YOU WANT.
22:11>> I WAS PREACHING ONE TIME AT A PLACE AND
22:14AND I WAS I MEAN I WAS GOING MY SERMON
22:16WAS GOING ALL OVER THE PLACE AND I FELT
22:19JUST ALMOST EMBARRASSED AFTER I SAID I'M
22:21SORRY. I SAID, "YOU KNOW, I I DON'T KNOW
22:24WHY I'M WANDERING LIKE THAT AND SO
22:26FORTH." AND I SAID, "THANK YOU." AND and
22:27and the SERVICE WAS OVER. A LADY CAME
22:30UP. I WAS SHAKING HANDS. This was in
22:32Chicago. And I WAS SHAKING HANDS AND SHE
22:34SAID, "PASTOR WINSTON, I'LL TELL YOU
22:35WHERE YOU WHY you went where you went."
22:37I SAID, "WHY?" SHE SAID, "CUZ I'VE BEEN
22:39FASTING FOR 4 DAYS." AND I TOLD GOD,
22:42"I'M GOING DOWN TO THAT CHURCH HOUSE AND
22:44I'M GOING TO GET ME SOME ANSWERS TODAY."
22:47YOU SEE, WHEN SHE CAME DOWN THERE WITH
22:49THAT KIND OF FAITH, THAT FAITH PULLED ME
22:53OVER HERE, THEN YANKED ME BACK OVER
22:55THERE, CUZ I'M A SERVANT OF GOD.
23:04>> ANY PROBLEM THAT YOU'VE GOT CAN BE
23:06SOLVED WITH A WORD FROM GOD. SAY AMEN TO
23:10THAT.
23:12THE DEVIL DON'T HAVE NO PROBLEM THAT GOD
23:14DON'T HAVE NO ANSWER TO. MATTER OF FACT,
23:17THE ANSWER WAS HERE FOR THE PROBLEM.

23:35Chapter 20.
23:41God is a good God.
23:44I SAID GOD IS A GOOD GOD.
23:49FOLKS, WE SUPPOSED TO HAVE MILLIONAIRES
23:51ALL OVER THE CHURCH.
23:54ALL OVER THE CHURCH.
23:56ALL THE MILLIONAIRES STAND UP.
24:04UH-UH. UH-UH. SOMETHING ABOUT TO HAPPEN
24:07NOW. HEY

24:10>> SOMETHING ABOUT TO HAPPEN.
24:12Sit down.
24:27>> All right. Look at Deuteronomy
24:31chapter 20.
24:35Now listen.
24:38Don't get mad cuz I tell you the truth.
24:44The Bible said, "The truth will make you
24:46free."
24:48Deuteronomy 20. Have you got it?
24:52>> When thou goest out to battle against
24:53thine enemies, and seeth horses, and
24:55chariots, and people more than thou,
24:57don't be afraid of them. For the Lord
24:59thy God is with you, which brought you
25:01up out of the land of Egypt. And it
25:04shall be when you are come nigh into the
25:05battle that the priest shall approach
25:08and speak to the people. Here comes the
25:10priest now. And shall say unto them,
25:12here, O Israel, you approach this day
25:14unto battle against your enemies. Let
25:16not your hearts faint. Fear not, and do
25:19not tremble, neither be ye terrified
25:22because of them. For the Lord your God
25:25is he that goeth with you to fight for
25:28you against your enemies to do what?
25:32to save you. Another translation says to
25:35give you victory.
25:39Folks, nowhere in the Old Testament did
25:43they go to battle without the blessing
25:45of the priest. They didn't do it. And if
25:49you look at anything in the in the
25:50heathen kingdom, people like
25:52Nebuchadnezzar and them, do you know who
25:54they had? They had soothsayers,
25:56magicians, sorcerers. Notice they had
25:58the spiritual people. See, kings need a
26:02priest.
26:05And the priest's job is to get the
26:07vision. The vision for what? To advance
26:09the kingdom. What is the priest? What is
26:11the king's job? It's to get the
26:13provision. Because the provision needs
26:15to be brought in to finance the vision.
26:18It was never meant that we have to go to
26:20the bank
26:23to borrow one dime.
26:26I'm telling you, it's only because I
26:29believe that as we enter into this new
26:31relationship and for the good of the
26:33kingdom now, we're going to see the
26:36blessing.
26:37I think Bishop preached on a on a on a
26:39message called positioning yourself to
26:41prosper or something like that. We're
26:43positioning ourselves to prosper.
26:46Okay? Now, I'm not talking about just
26:48for us for no more. I'm talking about
26:50the vision. The vision of what? Saving
26:51souls. The vision of what? Financing
26:53orphanages. Vision of what? bringing
26:55people to Christ so forth. ARE YOU
26:57FOLLOWING WHAT I'M SAYING? That's his
26:59vision. Now, the kings have a vision of
27:01their own. A vision to expand your
27:03business, a vision to to do some things
27:04in the educational field, a vision, if
27:07you're a doctor, to invent a machine, a
27:08new heart machine, and so forth. These
27:10are King's visions. But those two things
27:13work together because ultimately there's
27:15only one vision. Because to have two
27:18visions is what?
27:20>> It's th
27:22a house what? divided will not what will

1:02:49been transformed into the image of Jesus
1:02:51by the renewing of our mind. She always
1:02:53does me good as long as there's life
1:02:54within her. so forth and so on. And
1:02:56after I finish reading that, my mind

1:04:03of us? The enemy has seown a seed that
1:04:09grew up a plant that was producing fruit
1:04:13that we couldn't eat.
