Introduction and welcome

0:00If you can maintain that modified state

0:02of mind and body your entire day,

0:05get ready

0:07because something unusual is going to

0:09happen in your life. That's the law.

0:13And when you begin to realize

0:16that you're no longer living by the old

0:19model of reality of cause and effect,

0:21you know, something outside of you has

0:24to happen to change how you feel inside

0:26of you. And the moment you feel

0:28differently inside of you, you pay

0:29attention to whoever or whatever caused

0:31that. That's cause and effect. I have a

0:34few questions for you.

0:38How many people

0:40believe in the idea

0:43that the way you think

0:46has some effect on your life, that your

0:50thoughts create your reality. How many

0:52people believe in that idea?

0:54>> You do? Yes.

0:57So then I have another question for you.

1:01How many people actually woke up this

1:04morning

1:05and consciously created a future?

1:13You know why most people don't do it?

1:17Is because you don't believe it's true.

1:20You see, if you knew that your thoughts

1:24had some effect on your destiny, that

1:27your thoughts created your life, would

1:30you ever miss a day in creating a

1:33future? Come on, think about this. If

1:35you knew that on a gut level, and would

1:38you ever let any thought slip by your

1:41awareness that you didn't want to

1:43experience?

1:45Now your brain is organized to reflect

1:48everything you know in your life. Your

1:51brain is a reflection of your

1:53environment. It's an artifact from your

1:56past.

1:58So then you think 60 to 70,000 thoughts

2:02in one day.

2:05Out of those 60 to 70,000 thoughts that

2:08you think in one day, 90% of those

2:11thoughts are the same thoughts as the

2:14day before.

2:16So then the same thoughts will always

2:18lead to the same choices. The same

2:21choices will always create the same

2:23behaviors. The same behaviors will

2:25produce the same experiences. And the

2:27same experiences will create the same

2:29emotions. And those same familiar

2:32emotions will drive the same thoughts.

2:35And that's called a personality. That's

2:38your identity.

2:40And your biology,

2:42your circuitry neurologically, the genes

2:45that you express are equal to that state

2:48of mind and body.

2:50So then your personality

2:54creates your personal reality. That's

2:57it.

2:58And your personality is made up of how

3:00you think,

3:02how you act, and how you feel.

3:06So the present personality who's sitting

3:08here today has created the present

3:11personal reality called your life.

3:15So then if you wanted to create a new

3:17personal reality

3:19then you would have to start thinking

3:21about the thoughts you've been thinking

3:23about and pay attention to them and

3:26decide if you want to bring those

3:28thoughts into your future.

3:30You would have to begin to observe your

3:33behaviors and your habits and you would

3:36have to become aware of those emotions

3:39that you've memorized that are really

3:41just reflections of your past.

3:45So most people try to create a new

3:47personal reality as the same personality

3:50and it doesn't work. You literally have

3:53to become somebody else.

3:57So if you believe in the idea that your

3:59thoughts have something to do with your

4:01destiny,

4:03if you wake up every single morning and

4:06you get out of bed on the same side as

4:09you always do and then shut your alarm

4:12clock off with the same finger as

4:16yesterday, slip into your favorite

4:18slippers, shuffle into the bathroom, and

4:21use the toilet like you always do.

4:24Look in the mirror to remember who you

4:25are.

4:29Dress how everybody expects you to

4:31dress. Go downstairs and drink coffee

4:34out of your favorite mug.

4:38Drive to work the same way you always

4:40do. See the same people that push the

4:44same emotional buttons.

4:46Do the things that you memorized and can

4:48do so well. Then hurry up and go home

4:52and hurry up and eat. Then hurry up and

4:54check your emails. Then hurry up and

4:56watch your favorite television show.

4:58Then hurry up and go to bed so you can

5:00hurry up and do it all over again.

5:04Now, here's my question. Did your brain

5:08change at all that day?

5:10We could say that you were thinking the

5:12same thoughts, performing the same

5:14actions, creating the same experiences

5:16that produce the same emotions, but you

5:18were secretly expecting your life to

5:20change.

5:22How many people are with me?

5:26So then there's a principle in

5:27neuroscience that says nerve cells that

5:30fire together wire together.

5:34So then as you are thinking the same

5:36thoughts every single day your brain is

5:39firing in the same sequence in the same

5:42pattern the same combination as you make

5:44the same choices that lead to the same

5:46behaviors you're reinforcing the same

5:49circuitry in hardwiring your brain equal

5:52to your own valition and if those same

5:54experiences produce the same emotions

5:57now your body is getting the same

6:00chemical signature that keeps signaling

6:02the same gene in the same way.

6:06And so your biology, your neurology,

6:08your chemistry, your genetic expression

6:11is equal to your personality. How many

6:13people are with me? So then you would

6:15have to agree

6:19then as your brain fires in the same

6:21sequences in the same patterns in the

6:23same combinations and you're doing that

6:25over and over again over and over again

6:28and you're firing and wiring your brain

6:29into that very finite signature.

6:33That finite pattern is called an

6:35identity. That's the box of the brain.

6:38And by the time you're 35 years old, we

6:42become a set of memorized behaviors,

6:44emotional reactions, beliefs,

6:46perceptions, and attitudes that function

6:49like an automatic computer program.

6:53So then to make the brain work in new

6:56sequences and new patterns and new

6:58combinations,

7:00the one ingredient that allows us to do

7:02that is information.

7:05Because every time you learn something

7:07new, you make a new connection in your

7:09brain. That's what learning is. Learning

7:11is forging new circuits. Remembering is

7:15maintaining and sustaining those

7:16connections. So, if you're here this

7:19weekend and you've removed yourself from

7:23the common stimulation of your life that

7:26reminds you of who you think you are.

7:28And you're learning this vital

7:30information.

7:32And as you learn this new knowledge and

7:33this new information, you're adding a

7:36new stitch into the three-dimensional

7:37tapestry of your gray matter.

7:40And as you begin to contemplate and

7:42think about what you're learning, you're

7:44making your brain work in new sequences

7:46and new patterns and new combinations.

7:48And whenever you make your brain work

7:51differently, you're changing your mind

7:54because mind is the brain in action.

7:57Mind is the brain at work. So then you

Thoughts, destiny, and consciously creating your future

8:00would have to agree then

8:03new thoughts

8:06should lead to new choices.

8:08New choices should lead to new

8:11behaviors.

8:12New behaviors should create new

8:15experiences and new experiences should

8:18create new emotions and new emotions

8:20then should inspire new thoughts and

8:22that's called evolution.

8:25How many people are still with me? So

8:27then

8:30does your environment control your

8:33thinking

8:35or does your thinking control your

8:37environment?

8:39Because as you wake up every single

8:41morning and you get out of bed and you

8:44see the same people and you go to the

8:46same places and you do the exact same

8:48thing at the exact same time to

8:51experience the same event as yesterday.

8:53We could say then it's your external

8:56environment that's turning on different

8:58circuits in your brain causing you to

9:00think equal to everything that you know.

9:04And as long as you keep thinking

9:06familiar thoughts equal to everything

9:08that's known in your environment and you

9:11told me that you believe your thoughts

9:13have something to do with your destiny.

9:15What are you creating more of?

9:18The same environment. To change,

9:22to truly change is to think greater than

9:25your environment. To think greater than

9:28the circumstances in your world, to

9:31think greater than the conditions in

9:32your external environment. And every

9:35great person in history knew this.

9:38Whether it was William Wallace or

9:40Mahatma Gandhi or Martin Luther King or

9:42Jonavar or Queen Elizabeth I, Madame

9:45Cury, the Wright brothers, they all had

9:47a vision. They all had a dream. They all

9:51had an idea and it was much bigger than

9:53them. They couldn't see it. They

9:55couldn't smell it. They couldn't taste

9:56it. They couldn't feel it. It was beyond

9:58their senses.

How personality creates personal reality

10:00But they were so inspired by that vision

10:04that they began to live as if that

10:06future reality was happening in the

10:09present moment. They were ahead of their

10:11time.

10:15So, can you believe in a future

10:18that you can't see or experience with

10:20your senses yet,

10:23but you've thought about enough times in

10:25your mind that your brain is literally

10:28changed to look like the experience has

10:31already happened?

10:33Neuroscience says it's absolutely

10:35possible.

10:38And can you embrace a future reality, a

10:41future potential that exists in the

10:43quantum field? And how many potentials

10:46exist in the quantum field?

10:48A few

10:50infinite potentials.

10:52Can you emotionally embrace a future

10:55reality that you haven't experienced

10:57yet?

10:59And can you convince your body

11:02emotionally that that future event is

11:04happening to you in the present moment

11:06to such a degree that your body as the

11:09unconscious mind begins to believe that

11:11that future is happening to you? To the

11:14degree that you begin to signal new

11:16genes in new ways so that your body

11:19begins to change to look like the

11:21experience has happened.

11:24The epigenetic model of reality says

11:26it's absolutely possible.

11:30So if your brain and body are physically

11:34changed, physically changed to look like

11:37the experience has already happened.

11:41There's physical evidence to look like

11:42the experience has already happened.

11:45relax

11:48because the experience is going to find

11:50you

11:52and it's going to come in a way that you

11:54least expect.

11:56Now, why does it have to come in a way

11:58that you least expect?

12:01Cuz if you can expect it, it's nothing

12:03new.

12:08It's got to rock your world.

12:11It's got to catch you offguard and it

12:14has to leave no doubt that what you did

12:17inside of you produced some result

12:20outside of you. And when that experience

12:23happens in your world and it comes in a

12:25new and unusual way, you'll pay

12:27attention to what you did and you'll do

12:29it again.

12:31And every single person in this

12:34audience,

12:36every single individual, independent of

12:39the color of your skin, your gender,

12:42your educational background, your

12:44culture,

12:46independent of your past or your social

12:48status. We all have the ability to

12:51create.

12:53Now, the hardest part about change

12:57is not making the same choices you did

13:00the day before.

13:02Because the moment a person decides

13:06to pay attention to the thoughts that

13:08they've been thinking that have been

13:09hardwired programs in their brain

13:12that are happening behind the scenes of

13:15their awareness. and they become

13:16conscious of those unconscious thoughts

13:19and they begin to notice their habits

13:21and behaviors.

13:23They become aware of the emotions that

13:26they've memorized that keep them

13:27connected to the past.

13:30The moment they're no longer going to

13:32think, act, and feel in the same way,

13:35they just went from the old self and

13:38they're heading to the new self. The

13:40problem is there's a void in between.

13:44And so when a person begins to change

13:46and they're no longer acting or thinking

13:48or feeling like the old self, they step

13:51into the river of change. And the moment

13:54they step in the river of change, they

13:56no longer feel like themselves any

13:57longer. And the moment they don't feel

14:00like themselves, it feels like an

14:01unknown. It's uncomfortable. It's

14:03unfamiliar. They all of a sudden make

14:06the same choice that leads to the same

14:08behavior that creates the same

14:10experience that produces the same

14:12emotion. And then they say this feels

14:14right. No, that feels familiar.

14:19To step into the river of change

14:22and understand that to walk across that

14:25river from the old self to the new self,

14:28you are going to step into the unknown.

14:32And most people cannot get comfortable

14:34in that void because they can't predict

14:36their future.

14:39But that void is the biological,

14:42the neurological, the chemical, the

14:45genetic death of the old self.

14:49And I say the best way to predict your

14:51future is to create it. And when you are

14:54in that river of change, you are in the

14:58unknown. And that is the best place to

15:01create from.

15:03And so then crossing the river of change

15:06then means

15:08that you have to look at your brain and

15:11your body in terms of its hardwired

15:14programs and emotional propensities

15:17and realize then that the moment you can

15:22change your brain and body to look like

15:24an event has already happened. Your

15:27brain and body are no longer living in

15:29the past. Now, in fact, they are a map

15:33to the future.

15:35And to live by that law is to live by

15:38the quantum law. And the quantum law

15:41says that your environment is an

15:44extension of your mind. And if you truly

15:48change your mind, there should be

15:50evidence in your life. Why else would we

15:52do this?

15:54How many people are with me? Poke the

15:57person next to you. Please give them a

15:58little poke.

16:03So every time you have a thought, you

16:06make a chemical.

16:08In Australia, if you have a great

16:10thought or an unlimited thought or a

16:13joyful thought,

16:15you turn on a set of circuits in your

16:17brain that fires in a very specific

16:18sequence, pattern, or combination that

16:21produces a level of mind that signals

16:24another part of the brain to make a

16:25chemical for you to begin to feel

16:28exactly the way you were just thinking,

16:30great or unlimited or joyful.

16:34But if you have a negative thought or a

16:36judgmental thought or a

16:38self-depreciating thought, you turn on a

16:41different set of circuits in your brain

16:43that fire a different sequence, pattern,

16:45and combination that produces a

16:47different level of mind that signals

16:50another part of the brain to make

16:51another batch of chemicals for you to

16:53begin to feel exactly the way you were

16:55just thinking, negative or judgmental or

16:58unworthy.

16:59Now the moment we begin to feel the way

Thinking greater than your environment

17:02we think

17:04because the brain is in constant

17:05communication with the body, it's very

17:08natural that we begin to think the way

17:10we feel, which makes more chemicals for

17:13us to feel the way we think. And then we

17:15think the way we feel and then we feel

17:17the way we think and we think the way we

17:19feel and we do this for 20 or 30 years.

17:24Thoughts are the language of the brain

17:27and feelings are the language of the

17:29body. And how you think and how you feel

17:34creates a state of being. And a state of

17:37being is when mind and body are working

17:39together or your thoughts and feelings

17:42are aligned to a destiny. So would you

17:45agree then that

17:47I don't know, play with me, Australia.

17:49You think an insecure thought, in a

17:52matter of seconds, you're going to feel

17:54insecure. Yes. The moment you feel

17:58insecure, you're going to think more

18:00insecure thoughts. Yes. Which is going

18:03to turn on the same circuits in your

18:04brain to make the same chemistry for you

18:06to feel insecure. And the moment you

18:08feel insecure, you're going to think

18:09more insecure thoughts. And this could

18:12go on for 20 or 30 or 40 or 50 years.

18:16hardwiring the circuits in your brain

18:18and emotionally conditioning your body

18:21into that state.

18:23And if you do that long enough, you will

18:25say, "I am insecure."

18:29And whenever you say, "I am anything,"

18:32you're commanding your mind and body to

18:34a destiny.

18:36Now the repetition of this cycle of

18:38thinking and feeling and feeling and

18:40thinking over time conditions your body

18:42to memorize that state as well as your

18:45conscious mind. Now 95% of who you are

18:48by the time you're 35 years old is a set

18:52of memorized behaviors as I said

18:54emotional reactions beliefs perceptions

18:56and attitudes that function like a

18:59subconscious computer program 95% of who

19:02you are. So when a person wakes up and

19:06they want to change

19:09the cycle of thinking and feeling and

19:10feeling and thinking over time condition

19:12their body to become the mind of

19:14insecurity become the mind of judgment

19:17to become the mind of unworthiness to

19:19the degree that the body does it without

19:20the conscious mind. And whenever the

19:23body knows as well as the mind or the

19:26body becomes the mind that's called a

19:28habit. A habit is when your body is your

19:31mind. So if 95% of who you are by the

19:34time you're 35 years old is a set of

19:37memorized habituations

19:40and all of a sudden you're going to

19:41change and you're going to think

19:43positively with the 5% of your conscious

19:46mind but you've been feeling negatively

19:48for the last 35 years.

19:52or you're going to create your dream

19:54board, you know, with your SUV and your

19:58hair all styled and your fingernails and

20:00the dog in the back and the kid in the

20:02chair all per the car seat all perfect.

20:06But if you feel unworthy,

20:09that's mind and body in opposition.

20:12We have to recondition the body to a new

20:15mind.

20:17So then in the process of change then if

20:20you condition the body to become the

20:22mind the servant has become the master.

20:26So then to change then is to be greater

20:28than your body.

20:31So then 95% of who you are runs like a

20:36subconscious unconscious computer

20:38program.

20:41And so how do we get this way?

20:44Feelings and emotions are the endroduct

20:46of past experiences.

20:48And you can remember experiences better

20:50because you can remember how they feel.

20:53And when you're in the midst of an

20:54experience,

20:56everything you're seeing and smelling

20:57and tasting and feeling and hearing, all

The river of change and the unknown

21:00of your five senses plug you into the

21:02external environment. And when you're

21:04captured in an experience, all of that

21:07sensory information rushes back to your

21:09brain through those five different

21:11sensory pathways. And the moment that

21:13information reaches your brain, it

21:15causes jungles of neurons to begin to

21:17organize themselves into networks and

21:20patterns.

21:21The moment those neurons string into

21:23place, the brain makes a chemical and

21:26that uh chemical is called a feeling or

21:29an emotion. So you can remember the

21:31birth of your child. You can remember

21:33graduating from college. You can

21:35remember a promotion. You can remember

21:37your wedding day. You can remember

21:39catching a fish off the coast of

21:41Brisbane with your three best friends

21:44and taking it home and cooking it for

21:46dinner

21:48and watching the sunset and drinking a

21:50really great glass of wine. You remember

21:53that event perfectly.

21:56The problem is you can't remember what

21:57you had for dinner the night before.

22:00Because routine lulls the brain to

22:02sleep. So think about this. If feelings

22:06and emotions are the endroduct of past

22:09experiences

22:11and you're living by the same feelings

22:14every single day and you can't think

22:18greater than how you feel or feelings

22:20have become the means of thinking. Are

22:23you thinking in the future or are you

22:25thinking in the past?

22:27>> Come on, let me hear that.

22:29And as long as you're thinking in the

22:31past, what are you creating more of?

22:34>> Same past reality. Now, the quantum

22:36model of reality is still working for

22:37you, but you're literally thinking in

22:39the past.

22:41Now, your body is your unconscious mind,

22:45and it does not know the difference

22:47between an actual experience in your

22:49life that creates an emotion, an emotion

22:52that you fabricate by thought alone. So

22:54if you're thinking and feeling and

22:56feeling and thinking in the same cycle

22:58for 20 or 30 years, your body as the

23:02unconscious mind is believing it's in

23:04the same past experience 24 hours a day,

23:087 days a week, 365 days a year. Your

23:12body literally is believing it's in the

23:15past. And if you condition your body to

23:17habituate and become the mind of that

23:20emotion, then your body literally is

23:23living in the past and you can't create

23:26a new future holding on to the emotions

23:29of the past. How many people are still

23:31with me?

23:33So then when you react

23:35to someone or something in your life,

23:38you know when you react to something in

23:39your life, there's a refractory period

23:42of chemicals that are created from your

23:44emotional reaction.

23:46And if you don't know how to control

23:48your emotions in reaction to something

23:51outside of you

23:53and you have an event that produces an

23:56emotion

23:57and you allow that emotional reaction to

Thoughts, feelings, and your state of being

24:00linger for hours or days, you know what

24:03that's called?

24:05That's called a mood.

24:07What's wrong with you?

24:10I'm in a mood.

24:13Really? Why? What happened? Well, this

24:18thing happened to me five days ago

24:23and I'm living by the same emotional

24:26reaction.

24:28And if you keep that refractory period

24:30going on for weeks or months, same

24:33emotional reaction, that's called a

24:35temperament.

24:38Why is he so angry? I don't know. Hey,

24:42why are you so angry? Well, this

24:44experience happened to me 11 months ago,

24:48and I'm memorizing my emotional

24:50reaction.

24:55Now, if you keep that same refractory

24:57period going on for years on end, that's

25:01called a personality trait.

25:04So, then you would have to agree with

25:06me. Then in order to change your

25:08personality, you would have to look at

25:11the emotions that you've memorized that

25:14keep you connected to the past. And for

25:16the most part, most people's

25:18personalities are literally living in

25:21the past.

25:23So then if the person is living by the

25:26same emotion because they've had an

25:27experience that happened to them 20 or

25:2930 years ago and that emotion is driving

25:32the same thoughts and those thoughts are

25:33creating the same feelings then that

25:35person literally biologically is in the

25:38past. How many people are still with me?

25:41You with me?

25:42>> So now

25:45middle-aged woman

25:47she's living the life she's married. She

25:51has a great life and all of a sudden

25:55her husband comes home and he announces

25:58to her that he's moving to Bali with his

26:02two secretaries.

26:07Now, this woman has an event that

26:10creates a strong emotional reaction, and

26:13she feels anger and frustration and

26:17jealousy and victimization and pain and

26:20suffering. And what she doesn't know is

26:22that every time she thinks of the event,

26:26she's producing the same chemistry in

26:29her brain and body as if the event is

26:31happening. And so she's experiencing

26:34that event 50 to 100 times in one day.

26:37And that emotional reaction begins to

26:39linger into a mood.

26:42And the mood begins to linger into a

26:44temperament. And she begins to tell the

26:46story equal to the emotion to all her

26:49friends,

26:51firing and wiring the same circuits in

26:53her brain, causing her brain to be

26:55imprinted into the past. And at last

26:58then

27:00for years on end. And those feelings

27:03drive the same thoughts and she can't

27:04think greater than how she feels. And

27:07you approach her 20 years later.

27:11And you say to her,

27:14"Why are you this way?"

27:18And she says, "I am this way because of

27:22this experience that happened to me 20

27:26years ago." Now, what that means

27:28biologically is I had an event that

27:30happened to me 20 years ago that altered

27:32me neurologically and chemically. And I

27:35haven't been able to overcome that

27:37emotion for the last 20 years and I'm

27:39defined by that emotion. I'm basically

27:41living in the past. I stopped evolving

27:44from that particular event. How many

27:47people are with me? What that really

27:48change, you know, translates into is I

27:50haven't changed. I don't know how to

27:51change. You with me?

27:54>> This doesn't have to be you. It could be

27:55anybody.

28:00So, another situation.

28:04Woman's living the great life. She has

28:06children. She's married to her husband.

28:08All of a sudden, her husband comes home

28:09and he says, "I'm moving to Bonosares

28:12with my two secretaries and I'm bringing

28:14the milkman."

28:18Now, she goes through the same emotional

28:20reactions as the first lady. She's

28:23angry. She's hating. She's frustrated.

28:26She's jealous. She's suffering.

28:29She does this for a period of few days.

28:32And all of a sudden,

28:35she has this thought,

28:38living by these emotions

28:40isn't loving to me.

28:44And so, she went to the Hay House event.

28:50She gets out her book. She starts

28:53reading about transformation and

28:55unconditional love

28:58and she's going to cross that river of

29:00change and she's going to weigh her old

29:03beliefs against some new beliefs

29:07and she is going to go through the dark

29:08night of the soul and she comes to this

29:12realization after studying and learning

29:15that unconditional love if I truly loved

29:18my ex-husband I would let him go and let

29:20him be free and I don't want to live in

29:22the fast any longer.

29:25And so she struggles [snorts] to make

29:28that change. And she becomes conscious

29:30every time she's emotional, every time

29:33she's angry, every time she's

29:34judgmental. She becomes aware of every

29:37time she's thinking certain thoughts and

29:40she's tempering the old self.

29:44And all of a sudden now she decides to

29:47raise those children on her own. She

29:50goes to work in the day. She studies and

29:53goes to school in the evenings.

29:57She takes her kids to all the soccer

29:59games and the ballet. And years go by

30:02and she gets a degree. Finally

30:04graduates.

30:06Another year goes by. She gets a new

30:09job.

30:12Two years later, she falls in love with

30:14the senior vice president of the

30:16company.

30:20They travel the world and they buy a

30:22house in the south of France.

30:26Her children graduate college. They get

30:28married and have grandchildren. They

30:32spend their summers in the south of

30:34France and they spend their winters in

30:36Melbourne. It works out well because of

30:38the equator.

30:44Now you approach that woman 20 years

30:48later and you say to her,

30:52"But your husband left you 20 years

30:55ago." What do you think she's going to

30:56say? That was the best thing that ever

31:00happened to me.

31:10Because a memory without the emotional

31:13charge is called wisdom. And that's the

31:16name of the game here.

31:23So then the person

31:27who frees themselves from the chains of

31:29the past

31:32has to go through the biological death

31:34of the old self. And when they cross

31:37that river of change and they begin to

31:39decide what thoughts they do on a fire

31:41and wire in their brain and they pay

31:44attention to them and they begin to

31:46decide what behaviors they're going to

31:48demonstrate in their life and they begin

31:52to plan their actions and think about it

31:55and they begin to set a sight for a new

31:58future.

31:59And they become aware that the emotions

32:02that they memorized are keeping them

32:04anchored to the past. And then they say,

32:07"I am not getting up until I am this

32:11person today.

32:14How would greatness live?"

32:16And they begin to teach their body

32:19emotionally what it is to be in joy.

32:22They begin to show the body chemically

32:25and instructed what it feels like to

32:28live in gratitude with no evidence in

32:30their environment. Now we're talking

32:32about greatness.

32:35And so the person then who crosses that

32:38river of change understands when they

32:40arrive that they are going to have a new

32:42life and it's going to be like they're

32:45reborn again in the same life.

32:49So then

32:51if 95% of who we are by the time we're

32:5435 years old are a set of memorized

32:56behaviors that run like an automatic

32:58program, thoughts and emotions that keep

33:02us anchored to the past. And your body

33:05is your unconscious mind. Then 95% of

33:08our waking day, we're unconscious.

33:13So then to change then is to become

33:15conscious of your unconscious self.

33:17Would you agree?

33:23So then if you keep thinking and feeling

33:27and feeling and thinking in the same

33:28cycle over and over again and you get

33:31caught in that feedback loop, the

33:33emotions that are created from just that

33:37cycle keep signaling the same gene in

33:41the same way and your body begins to

33:45break down. Now poke the person next to

33:49you. Come on, Melbourne. You want to

33:51take a ride with me a little bit here?

33:53Come on. You're geniuses, right? You're

33:56geniuses.

33:59So then

34:01your body is a protein producing

34:02machine. You know that

34:06muscle cells make muscle proteins.

34:07They're called actin and meosin. Skin

34:10cells make skin proteins. They're called

34:12collagen and elastin.

34:14Stomach cells make stomach proteins. are

34:16called enzymes. And a gene is expressed.

34:19When a gene is expressed, it makes a

34:21protein. You still with me? So, if you

34:24take out one skin cell of your body and

34:26stretch out all that DNA, it'll be 2 m

34:29tall.

34:31You take out all the DNA out of your

34:33entire body and you stretch it out from

34:36end to end, it'll go to the sun and back

34:38150 times. You take out all the DNA of

34:41every single body on the planet, the

34:43seven billion people, all the DNA out of

34:45everybody's body and you scrunch it all

34:47together, it'll fit in a grain of rice.

34:51Now, when they mapped the human genome,

34:53they were really disappointed

34:56because we express less than one and a

34:58half% of our DNA. The other 98 and a

35:02half percent is called junk DNA.

35:06out of that 98% 98 and a half% of that

35:09junk DNA that's a parts list of

35:12potentials but in the one and a half%

35:14that you express you are 98% chimpanzee

35:2170% rat some more than others but

35:24roughly 70%

35:28now they used to say that your genes

35:30create disease that's a lie less than 5%

35:33of the people on the planet are born

35:35with a genetic disorder.

35:37The other 95% is from lifestyle and

35:41choices.

35:44Now then they said it's the environment

35:47that signals the gene that creates

35:49disease. Well, that's good news. But how

35:52can two people, two factory workers

35:55working side by side in the same

35:58factory, both exposed to the same

36:00carcinogenic chemical for 20 years, one

36:02gets cancer and the other doesn't.

36:05Certainly there must be some internal

36:07order in the body that can be greater

36:09than the conditions in the external

36:11environment. How many people are still

36:13with me? So then when an organism is

36:16embracing adverse conditions in its

36:18environment, any organism, reptile,

36:21amphibian, mammal, as the organism is

36:24exposed to the harsh conditions in the

36:26environment, sooner or later the

36:28organism changes its behavior to adapt

36:30to the conditions in the environment. If

36:32it changes its behavior, it's going to

36:34begin to have a new experience. And the

36:36new experience is going to have chemical

36:38information from the environment that's

36:39going to begin to signal the gene in a

36:41new way. And this the exposure to the

36:45same experience over time begins to

36:47activate the gene and the body begins to

36:50make a different protein. So if the

36:52organism is embracing very cold

36:54conditions over time the organism will

36:57make thicker fur. Fur is a protein. If

37:00it's a predator chasing a prey and the

37:02prey has to outrun the predator by a

37:05series of exposures of that experience

37:07the offspring will have longer legs.

37:09That's a protein.

37:10If it's current, the fish over time will

37:13develop a bigger tail fin or camouflage.

37:17So then if there how many potentials are

37:19there in the quantum field? So infinite

37:22potentials means there infinite

37:23experiences, right? Come on geniuses,

37:26poke the person next to you. Come on,

37:28poke them.

37:30So then if there's infinite experiences,

37:32they're infinite emotions to experience.

37:34Would you agree? So then you would have

37:36to agree then that if you're living by

37:39the same emotion every single day,

37:41there's no new experience coming from

37:44your environment and your body is

37:46getting the same chemical information

37:48because it's living in the past. And if

37:49you keep signaling that same gene over

37:52and over and over again, your body is

37:54going to begin to make a cheaper

37:55protein. It's going to begin to break

37:57down. And all aging is is the result of

38:00improper protein production because the

38:02genes begin to wear out just like gears

38:05in your car like taking a fax of a fax

38:08of a fax.

38:10So the new research says

38:13that you can signal new genes in new

38:16ways by thought alone.

38:18You can begin to upregulate certain

38:20genes that begin to cause the body to

38:23get healthy. And you can downregulate

38:26certain genes, shut them off by the

38:28chemicals of stress.

38:30You take a group of people that are

38:33normal people, work in a corporation,

38:37and for 6 weeks you teach them how to

38:39relax, how to close their eyes, breathe,

38:42and become present. And they will signal

38:45over 1,600

38:47new genes just by changing their

38:49internal state.

38:52You take a group of men that have

38:53prostatic cancer and you teach them how

38:56to think differently, how to eat

38:57differently, and how to move differently

39:00and they will turn on 200 new genes.

39:03Turn on new lights, turn off old lights.

39:06But if you're thinking and feeling in

39:08the same cycle, you're keeping the same

39:10lights on and the other lights off. And

39:12that same chemical redundancy pushes the

39:15genetic button that creates disease. How

39:18many people are with me? So then

39:21you know [clears throat]

39:25since what the bleep the most common

39:28question that people ask me

39:31is how do you do it? How do you do this?

39:35And this is a time in history where it's

39:38not enough to know. This is a time in

39:40history to know how.

39:43And so when people begin to take this

39:45vital philosophical information and

39:49initiate that philosophical information

39:51into their life and demonstrate it to

39:53have a new experience and they're able

39:56to reproduce that same experience, they

39:58go from philosopher to initiate to

40:00master.

40:02And we have people in our workshops

40:04around the world that have healed

40:05themselves of cancer, of diabetes, of

40:08lupus, of MS, of Hashimoto's syndrome,

40:11of rare genetic disorders that medical

40:13science had no solution for because they

40:16began to realize very astutely then that

40:20the emotions that they memorized from

40:23their past, they weren't a bad person.

40:26They just got caught in that emotional

40:27loop and they began to push the genetic

40:29button. And if they can turn that gene

40:32off, they should turn a new gene on. And

40:35over time, when they became a new

40:38personality, the disease no longer

40:41existed because it existed in the old

40:43personality. How many people understood?

40:46And they said, "Hey, you know what? I

40:48gave up my hatred for my alcoholic

40:52father and all of a sudden my acid

40:53reflux went away." I don't know what

40:55happened because they were no longer

40:57signaling the same gene.

41:00So what emotion

41:04have you memorized

41:06that keeps you connected to the past?

41:10Because your body as the unconscious

41:13mind is reliving that past event over

41:15and over again.

41:18And if you accept this paradigm as the

41:20truth, you would have to agree with me

41:23that no one or nothing is worth it. And

41:26even though it's justified

41:29and even though it's reasonable, your

41:32body doesn't care, your body is being

41:35enslaved into the past. And people say

41:38to me, "Well, what kind of diet do you

41:40eat?" And I say, "You want to go on the

41:42greatest fast of all? Stop complaining.

41:46Give your body a break. Stop judging.

41:58And so a group of diabetics that could

42:00move into an elevated emotion and laugh

42:03for one hour can turn on 23 new genes

42:06that begin to regulate their blood sugar

42:07just by changing their mood.

42:10So then

42:12what if you woke up in the morning and

42:15you said, "Hey, you know, I I went to

42:18that I can do it event and God, I

42:21learned a lot.

42:23Maybe I should try applying this to my

42:25life.

42:33So we have three brains. Three brains

42:35that allow us to go from thinking to

42:37doing to being. You with me? Come on,

42:40poke the person next to you over there.

42:43So, your thinking brain, three brains

42:46from thinking to doing to being, each

42:48brain is its own individual biomp

42:50computer with its own neurology, with

42:52its own circuitry, with its own anatomy,

42:54with its own chemistry, its own

42:56physiology, its own history, and its own

42:59sense of time and space. Now, your first

43:01brain is called your neoortex. That's

43:03that corrugated walnut on the outside

43:05right here. It's the newest piece of

43:07neurological machinery. It's the largest

43:10in human beings and dolphins. And that

43:12neoortex is your thinking brain. You're

43:15listening to me right now with your

43:16neoortex. And your neoortex plugs you

43:19into the environment.

43:22And your neoortex

43:25is the seat of your conscious awareness.

43:27And it loves to learn information. And

43:30as I said, every time you learn

43:31something new, you make a new connection

43:33in your thinking brain.

43:36So you read the book by Wayne Dyer and

43:40you get all this philosophical

43:41information and you get a little Deepo

43:43and little Lisa Williams. You get all

43:46this knowledge

43:49and then all of a sudden you get the

43:51companion CDs and you're driving the

43:53work and listening to the CD. Now you're

43:57firing and wiring all this information

43:58in your brain.

44:01You are philosophically, theoretically,

44:04intellectually, analytically beginning

44:06to fuse new circuits in your brain. You

44:08with me? But you got to keep reviewing

44:10it because learning is making the

44:12connections and remembering is

44:13maintaining it. So you got to go back

44:15and read it again and fire it and wire

44:16and then get the companion CDs and you

44:19start making those connections and then

44:20you start walking around in your office

44:22and you're saying, "Hey, you know what

44:23your problem is? You need to forgive.

44:25That's your problem."

44:28And you over there, you need to be more

44:31compassionate. Yeah, that's your

44:32problem.

44:34And listen, I learned about emotional

44:36intelligence. You got to shorten the

44:37refractory period of your emotional

44:38reactions. All of you over there,

44:43everybody is just [snorts] floored by

44:47you. And they're knocking on your door

44:49at work and they're asking for you to

44:51administer to them and solve all their

44:53problems.

44:57and they're seeing you as psychic and

Rehearsing a new self through meditation

45:00smart.

45:02That's the philosopher.

45:05Now, when you take that intellectual

45:07information and you apply it, you

45:10personalize it, you demonstrate it, you

45:12initiate that information and you do

45:15something with that information, you

45:16would have to agree. Then moment you do

45:19something differently, you're going to

45:20have a new experience. Would you agree?

45:22>> So, you have a new experience. Then when

45:25you have a new experience, you activate

45:26the second brain called the limbic

45:28brain, the emotional brain, the chemical

45:31brain.

45:33So now

45:35you've read the book on compassion.

45:38You've read the book on loving and

45:40surrender and and forgiveness.

45:45And you've fired and wired these

45:46circuits in your brain. And everybody is

45:49impressed with you.

45:52and you are getting ready for the

45:54company Christmas party

45:57and you get the call from your friend

46:00that the person who betrayed you, the

46:04one that threw you under the bus, that

46:06talked about you, that got the

46:08promotion,

46:10that swayed the company in another

46:12direction when you were entitled to that

46:14position. She's

46:17at the Christmas party.

46:21So, you get the call, you hang up the

46:23phone, and you're staring out the

46:25window, and all of a sudden, you start

46:28thinking about how you're going to

46:29poison her wine when you see her.

46:34Then you think, "Oh, no, no. I'm going

46:35to wait till she goes into the bathroom,

46:37and then I'm going to get her in a

46:38headlock,

46:40press her into the toilet.

46:43No, no, no. Better yet, you know what

46:45I'm going to do? I'm gonna embarrass her

46:47in front of everybody." And you start

46:49going through

46:51all of these scenarios in your mind and

46:54you're so focused on the scenario that

46:56your brain does not know the difference

46:58between the actual event

47:01and what you're fabricating by thought

47:03alone. You're living in that potential

47:05reality. And all of a sudden you come

47:08back to your senses

47:11and you say,

47:14"I read the book on compassion. Damn it.

47:22Oh, I read the book on forgiveness. I

47:24turned the tape.

47:27And all of a sudden, now you back up and

47:30you become conscious of your unconscious

47:33thoughts. You begin to notice your

47:36knee-jerk reactions. You become aware of

47:39the emotions that are st starting to

47:41stir in your body. And that concept in

47:44neuroscience is called metacognition.

47:47The fact that you can think about what

47:49you're thinking about means then you're

47:51no longer the program. You're the

47:53consciousness observing the program and

47:55you begin to objectify your subjective

47:58mind. And as you begin to observe those

48:01thoughts, those behaviors and those

48:02emotions

48:04and you begin to become pure

48:06consciousness. The moment you become

48:08aware, you begin to quiet down the

48:10circuits in your brain that are

48:12connected to the old self and nerve

48:14cells that no longer fire together,

48:17no longer wired together. You begin to

48:21silence the circuits connected to the

48:23old you. How many people are with me?

48:26And all of a sudden, you get up and you

48:27start going, "Okay, what what did I

48:29learn? What did I learn in the in the

48:30seminar? What I learned?" Oh, yes. I'm

48:33supposed to see myself in her. Ah, okay.

48:36Let me just

48:40Okay, I'm supposed to stay present. Oh,

48:43yeah. Stay present. Okay, open my heart.

48:46And as you begin to sit there in your

48:49bathroom and you begin to remind

48:52yourself of what you've learned, you

48:55begin to turn on new circuits in your

48:57brain and you begin to plan your

49:00behaviors of what you're going to do

49:01when you walk into that Christmas party.

49:04And as you begin to rehearse mentally in

49:06your mind what you're going to do, nerve

49:09cells that fire together wire together,

49:11and you begin to make your brain work in

49:13new sequences and new patterns and new

49:15combinations. And whenever you make your

49:17brain work differently, you're changing

49:19your mind.

49:21And as you remind yourself of who you no

49:23longer want to be and you remind

49:25yourself of who you do want to be, you

49:28are beginning to install the

49:30neurological circuits in your brain. So

49:32you have the hardware in place so that

49:35when you walk into that dinner, you can

49:37turn on those circuits and get your

49:39behaviors to match your intentions, get

49:41your actions equal to your thoughts, get

49:43your mind and body working together.

49:47And so the research in neuroscience says

49:50that your brain does not know the

49:52difference when you're truly focused.

49:55If you are rehearsing something in your

49:57mind, your brain will look like the

49:59experience has already happened. And so

50:02as you begin to prime your brain now,

50:04you get in the car and you begin to

50:05review what you're going to do. You

50:07begin to remember all the things you've

50:09learned, you begin to put yourself into

50:11the equation and you begin to rehearse

50:13your actions and you walk into that

50:15dinner and you do exactly what the book

50:17says and you walk up into that presence

50:20of that adversity

50:23and you show up as somebody differently.

50:25And the moment your behaviors match your

50:28intentions and your actions are equal to

50:30your thoughts and your mind and body are

50:32working together, the moment you're in

50:34the midst of that new experience, all of

50:36a sudden that new experience creates a

50:38new emotion and all of a sudden your

50:41heart starts to open up and the woman

50:44apologizes

50:45and she breaks down and you only have

50:48forgiveness and understanding. And the

50:50moment you feel compassion, the moment

50:54you feel forgiveness, the moment you

50:57feel love, you're activating that

50:59chemical brain, that limbic brain, that

51:01emotional brain. And now you are

51:04teaching your body emotionally to

51:08understand what your mind is

51:09intellectually understood. You see,

51:11knowledge is for the mind and

51:13experiences for the body. And in that

51:16moment, you are embodying knowledge. The

51:19word is becoming flesh and you're

51:20literally signaling new genes in new

51:23ways because that's new information from

51:25your environment.

51:27But it's not enough to do it once.

51:30You can't forgive your coworker one time

51:33and expect to be on the stained glass

51:35windows at church.

51:40You have to be able to repeat that

51:42experience and you have to be able to do

51:45it over and over and over again. You

51:48have to do it so many times that you

51:51neurochemically

51:53condition your body to memorize

51:55compassion as well as the conscious

51:57mind. And if you can continuously do it

52:00over time, you'll activate that third

52:02brain called the cerebellum, the seat of

52:05your subconscious mind, the home of

52:08skills and habits. It means that you

52:11practiced it so many times that you no

52:13longer have to consciously think about

52:15it. It is who you are. It is innate in

52:18you. It means you've done it so many

52:20times that you know how, but you don't

52:22even know how you know how because the

52:24mind and body merge as one. Or better

52:27yet, the body becomes the mind of

52:30compassion. And now it's automatic. It's

52:33second nature. It's easy. It's familiar.

52:36It's who you are.

52:38And when you're in that state of being,

52:41we could say that you neurochemically

52:44conditioned your body to memorize such

52:48an internal chemical order or

52:51neurological order that no person, no

52:54thing, no condition in your environment

52:56can move you from it. And that's what we

52:58call a master. How many people are with

53:00me? So, how many people here, as a side

53:04note, know someone who's mastered

53:06suffering?

53:08Doesn't have to be you. Could be

53:09anybody.

53:11And you say to them, "Hey, did you read

53:13the book that I gave you?" What do they

53:14say?

53:16"Did you see the DVD?"

53:19"No." "Hey, we're going out. We're going

53:21out for some dinner. We're going to go

53:22see some standup comedy. We're going to

53:23go for a walk along the river. You want

53:25to come?"

53:29What are they saying? I'm insisting on

53:32this neurochemical order that no person,

53:34no thing, no experience can move me from

53:37it.

53:39But greatness then don't you know that

53:43when you decide to change that if 95% of

53:48who we are is in that subconscious

53:50program in which the body is the mind.

53:52Don't you know the body the moment it's

53:54not getting its chemical needs met

53:58is going to begin to go into chaos? And

54:01the moment you decide to change, don't

54:02you know if you've been oiling those

54:04programs for 30 years and all of a

54:06sudden you're going to have a moment of

54:07enlightenment and you're going to say

54:11today, no more complaining, no more

54:13blaming, no more making excuses if

54:15you're Italian. No more self-pity.

54:17You're just going to stop.

54:21What do you think the body's going to

54:23say? 30 years of this. What do you think

54:25the body's going to say?

54:28Where you been, man? I've been doing

54:30this without you. You've trained me to

54:33be You've conditioned and trained me to

54:34be this way. As a matter of fact, I can

54:35do this without you. You think you're

54:37making all your choices. You're not

54:38making any choices consciously. I'm

54:40influencing all your choices based on

54:42how you want to feel. I've modified my

54:45receptor sites for you.

54:49I'm doing exactly what you trained me to

54:51do. The servants become the master. And

54:53all of a sudden, all of a sudden, the

54:55master is back on the throne. And the

54:57servant's saying, "Hey, I got it.

55:00And don't you think that the moment your

55:02body is no longer getting those

55:04addictive chemicals?

55:06It's not getting its chemical needs met.

55:08It's going to send signals back to the

55:10brain. Remember, you said you declared,

55:14you know, two hours earlier that you

55:15were not going to go there. And all of a

55:18sudden, two hours later, your body's

55:20getting lancey. It starts sending

55:22signals back up the central nervous

55:24system to the thinking brain. That's the

55:26fast track. and chemical levels of

55:28suffering is going down. And the

55:30hypothalamus, which is the thermostat in

55:32the brain, says she's not feeling like

55:35herself any longer. And it sends signals

55:37to the thinking brain. That's the slow

55:39track. Remember, you just said, "I'm not

55:41going to be a victim any longer." And

55:44all of a sudden, you start to hear this

55:45voice in your head that says,

55:49"Why don't you start tomorrow?

55:54Tomorrow's a better day."

55:56Oh, look. I broke a fingernail. My day

55:59is ruined.

56:02I'm too much. You're too much like your

56:04mother. You'll never change.

56:06What's wrong with me? And of course, my

56:10favorite, this doesn't feel right.

56:18And the moment we respond to those

56:20voices as if they're true, consciousness

56:22immerses itself right back into the

56:25program. and we return to thinking the

56:27same way, acting the same way, feeling

56:29the same way, but secretly expecting our

56:32life to change. How many people are with

56:34me? So, when you are in a state of

56:37being, because you've taken all this

56:39knowledge that you've learned at this

56:40little workshop, this little event where

56:43you've retreated from your life long

56:44enough to no longer be reminded of who

56:47you think you are to learn vital

56:49information,

56:51philosophical, theoretical information.

56:54And if you can repeat this information,

56:55it's installed in your brain. But the

56:58next question is you got to integrate it

57:00into your life. You have to demonstrate

57:02it. And you can't go around saying,

57:04"Hey, I'm spiritual and peace be with

57:07you." Then get in the car and like

57:12what's that?

57:14That's mind doing one thing and body

57:16doing something else.

57:20And I was at the I was invited to in

57:23Spain. I was invited to the um to the

57:26government in northern Spain to do a

57:29talk to the to the government because

57:31Spain is going through such an amazing

57:33crisis and there are 17 different

57:35ministries and they asked me to present.

57:38I'm walking out into this culture. Of

57:40course, I'm not part of the culture, but

57:44I looked out into the audience and I

57:46asked all these, you know, important

57:48people and there's a huge crisis in

57:50Spain. And I thought about what could I

57:52say to these folks? The first thing I

57:54said was,

57:57how are you contributing to the crisis?

58:02You know what? Let me tell you

58:03something. If there's a crisis, you're

58:05going to have to do exactly what's

58:08unnatural.

58:09When everybody else is afraid

58:12and is holding on, now is time to give.

58:16When everybody else is judging, you show

58:18compassion. When everybody else is

58:21cynical and can't see possibility, you

58:23should be talking possibility. It will

58:25seem so unnatural. But how else do we

58:29become supernatural until we overcome

58:31what's natural? In every condition in

58:35your life, your life is your initiation

58:39into greatness.

58:41You see, there are no schools of ancient

58:43wisdom on the hilltops of the Himalayas.

58:46You look in the mirror, you see a

58:47reflection of yourself. That's how the

58:50physical self knows who it is.

58:53But how does the ego, the immaterial

58:55self know itself? And that is you're

58:58initiated in your life. And you have to

59:01meet your life from a new level of mind

59:03every single day. And if you're not

59:06changing how you think and feel

59:09and you get up as the same person, then

59:11you are thinking and feeling in the past

59:14and there are no possibilities that

59:16exist for you. How many people are with

59:18me? So now

59:22there's all this talk in the United

59:23States about intention. You know the

59:26power of intention, intention,

59:27intention. They did an experiment. They

59:29took a group of really expert prayers

59:32and they put these people in front of

59:34three vials of DNA and they said to

59:37these people with all of your intention,

59:40that's, you know, a thoughtful process.

59:42Intention, by the way, to demystify it

59:45is getting clear on what you want.

59:47That's it. With all of your intention,

59:49we want you to see this DNA unwinding or

59:52rewinding. And just keep seeing it over

59:55and over again. Unwinding and rewinding.

59:59And they did it over and over again. And

1:00:00at the end of the experiment, they

1:00:02checked the DNA. And guess what

1:00:03happened?

1:00:05Nothing.

1:00:08Intention or thought did nothing to

1:00:10change the DNA.

1:00:12So they said, "Okay." They took the same

1:00:14group of people and they said, "Now we

1:00:15want you to move into an elevated

1:00:16emotion. We want you to feel joy and

1:00:19goodwill. We want you to feel gratitude.

1:00:22We want you to broadcast this energy

1:00:24into the field." Just keep doing it over

1:00:27and over again. And we're going to check

1:00:28the DNA. When these people moved into an

1:00:30elevated emotion, guess what happened to

1:00:32the DNA?

1:00:34Nothing.

1:00:37An elevated emotion didn't change the

1:00:39DNA at all. But when they said to these

1:00:42people,

1:00:43we want you to get very clear in your

1:00:46mind to see the DNA unwinding. And then

1:00:49we want you to move into the elevated

1:00:51emotion of how you would feel if the DNA

1:00:54actually unwound. We want you to give

1:00:56thanks for the DNA unwinding ahead of

1:00:58the actual experience.

1:01:00Guess what happened?

1:01:0325%

1:01:05of the DNA unwound.

1:01:08You see, the thoughts that you think are

1:01:10the electrical charge in the quantum

1:01:11field.

1:01:13And the feelings that you emote are the

1:01:15magnetic charge in the quantum field.

1:01:18And how you think and how you feel

1:01:20broadcasts electromagnetic signature

1:01:23that influences every single atom in

1:01:26your life. The thought sends the signal

1:01:29out and the feeling draws the event

1:01:31back. And how you think and how you feel

1:01:35is a state of being. And the quantum

1:01:39field responds to who you're being.

1:01:43So what are you broadcasting every

1:01:46single day? If you're walking around

1:01:48suffering and those emotions are driving

1:01:51certain thoughts, you're basically

1:01:52saying to the infinite field of

1:01:54possibilities, "Oh great one, I am

1:01:58broadcasting the signature of suffering

1:01:59into the field. Bring me an experience

1:02:02to suffer more, but bring it in a way

1:02:03that I least expect

1:02:06that surprises me that leaves no doubt

1:02:08that it's come from you so I can suffer

1:02:10more."

1:02:12You see, we are not punished for our

1:02:15sins. We are punished by our sins and

1:02:19karma happens every single day.

1:02:25So then what if

1:02:28you woke up in the morning and instead

1:02:31of getting out of bed and doing the same

1:02:32thing you always do and thinking the

1:02:34same thoughts and

1:02:37planning the same predictable

1:02:38experiences at the same exact time that

1:02:40create the same emotions that produce

1:02:42the same thoughts over and over again.

1:02:44What if you woke up in the morning and

1:02:46before you opened your eyes, you sat up

1:02:48and you said to yourself,

1:02:51"What is the greatest ideal of myself

1:02:54that I can be today? One day, one

1:02:58lifetime."

1:03:01And what if you said,

1:03:03"Let me become conscious of those

1:03:06unconscious thoughts that undermine my

1:03:09greatness." and you said like Gandalf on

1:03:12the bridge,

1:03:14you may not pass today.

1:03:18What if you became aware of those habits

1:03:22and those behaviors that were so

1:03:24automatic that you didn't even think

1:03:26about them and you began to become

1:03:28familiar with and conscious of those

1:03:30unconscious behaviors and you became so

1:03:34conscious of them you would never let

1:03:36them slip by your awareness that day.

1:03:39And what if you said, "What are those

1:03:42emotions that bring me to a lower

1:03:44denominator?"

1:03:46And you said, "Those emotions are just

1:03:49memories from the past, and I can't

1:03:52create a new future holding on to these

1:03:54emotions." A wealthy person doesn't feel

1:03:57lack.

1:04:00An opportunity doesn't feel like fear.

1:04:05You only create gold with gold. And you

1:04:09said to yourself,

1:04:12"How would greatness live today?" And

1:04:14you began to think, eliminate your

1:04:17environment, close your eyes, put your

1:04:20body away, and become so present in the

1:04:24moment that you're no longer predicting

1:04:25the same future based on the past. And

1:04:29what if you said, "I am not getting up

1:04:31from my meditation this morning until I

1:04:34am this person." Now we're talking about

1:04:37a great person

1:04:39and you wrestled with the old thoughts

1:04:42and there came a moment where the body

1:04:45finally surrendered and relaxed and like

1:04:48a great stallion who's bucking and

1:04:51kicking. That's the body. It's

1:04:53untrained. And every time it begins to

1:04:55buck and kick, you say to it, "Stay,

1:05:00stay."

1:05:03And you begin to fire and wire new

1:05:05thoughts in your brain. And you move

1:05:08into a new state of being. And you begin

1:05:11to teach your body emotionally what

1:05:13nobility feels like, what honor feels

1:05:16like, what abundance feels like, what

1:05:18love feels like. And you're signaling

1:05:20new genes in new ways. And you're

1:05:23changing the circuitry in your brain. So

1:05:25you're no longer living in the past, but

1:05:27now you're beginning to live in the

1:05:29future. and you get up broadcasting a

1:05:32whole new electromagnetic signature.

1:05:36And what if from that place that new

1:05:38state of being you began to create?

1:05:44And then you get up from your day

1:05:47and your job is to maintain that

1:05:50modified state of mind and body your

1:05:52entire day independent of the conditions

1:05:55in your environment, independent of the

1:05:58habits and addictions in the body and

1:06:00independent of time. And if you could

1:06:03truly succeed at this

1:06:06and that process turns into a mood,

1:06:10turns into a temperament and into a new

1:06:13personality. If you can maintain that

1:06:16modified state of mind and body your

1:06:18entire day,

1:06:20get ready

1:06:22because something unusual is going to

1:06:24happen in your life. That's the law.

1:06:27And when you begin to realize

1:06:31that you're no longer living by the old

1:06:34model of reality of cause and effect,

1:06:36you know, something outside of you has

1:06:39to happen to change how you feel inside

1:06:41of you. And the moment you feel

1:06:42differently inside of you, you pay

1:06:44attention to whoever or whatever caused

1:06:46that. That's cause and effect. You know,

1:06:48when my wealth shows up, then I'll be in

1:06:51gratitude. When my lover shows up, then

1:06:53I'll be happy and in love. That's the

1:06:56old model of reality. That's Newtonian

1:06:58physics of cause and effect. The quantum

1:07:01model of reality is about causing and

1:07:03effect.

1:07:05It's about changing how you think and

1:07:07feel to the degree that you're living in

1:07:10some future reality in the present

1:07:12moment, reorganizing the circuitry in

1:07:14your brain and signaling new genes in

1:07:16new ways. So, your body's already tasted

1:07:19the future.

1:07:21And now when that event happens in your

1:07:23life and you begin to see the effect

1:07:26happen, you're no longer living by cause

1:07:29and effect. You're causing an effect.

1:07:30And the moment it happens, you'll pay

1:07:32attention to what you did and you'll do

1:07:34it again. And that's called quantum

1:07:36physics. So if you're observing your

1:07:39life from the same level of mind every

1:07:43single day, you as the quantum observer

1:07:46are causing infinite fields of

1:07:48possibility to collapse into the same

1:07:51patterns of information called your same

1:07:53reality.

1:07:56So there's nobody who's so special in

1:07:58this audience that's excluded from this

1:08:01phenomenon. you know, people. I was in

1:08:03Los Angeles and I'm getting ready to do

1:08:05this talk and there's a big audience

1:08:06like this and here comes this lady kind

1:08:08of storming down, you know, from the top

1:08:10with her hands on her hips and I'm

1:08:12setting up my computer and I turn

1:08:13around, I look at her and she says, "How

1:08:16come I'm not living in Santa Fe, New

1:08:18Mexico with my two dogs?"

1:08:27I said to her because the person who's

1:08:29living in Santa Fe, New Mexico with her

1:08:31two dogs looks nothing like that.

1:08:37So then this is a time in history

1:08:42where we have to demonstrate all of this

1:08:44information

1:08:46that there's an intelligence within you.

1:08:50So few people ever take the time to

1:08:52contemplate it.

1:08:55That there's an intelligence that's

1:08:56giving you life that's both personal and

1:08:59universal. It's within you and all

1:09:01around you.

1:09:03Your heart is beating over eight lers of

1:09:06blood a minute.

1:09:08Over 450 lers of blood in an hour. over

1:09:12a 100,000 times in one day through a

1:09:15100,000 kilometers of blood vessels and

1:09:18your vascular system is 3% of your body

1:09:21weight. Who's doing that? Is your

1:09:23freewilled personality doing that? Or

1:09:26there's an intelligence that has a will

1:09:29so much greater than our will and you're

1:09:32losing trillions of cells every single

1:09:35second.

1:09:37Oh, you just made another trillion.

1:09:42Are you making those trillion cells? Or

1:09:45there is an invisible intelligence

1:09:47beyond space and time that's giving you

1:09:50life that has a mind so much greater

1:09:52than our mind?

1:09:54And how about those days where you just

1:09:56hate life and you don't want to get out

1:09:58of bed?

1:09:59Don't you know there's an intelligence

The greatest ideal of yourself today

1:10:01that's loving you enough to still give

1:10:03you life that believes in you? Can't see

1:10:07it, can't smell it, can't taste it,

1:10:09can't feel it, but it is real

1:10:13because it is a consciousness and

1:10:15consciousness is awareness and awareness

1:10:17is paying attention and it is observing

1:10:19you.

1:10:22So then when your will

1:10:24matches its will

1:10:27and when your mind matches its mind and

1:10:29when your love for life matches its love

1:10:32for life, it always answers the call.

1:10:36Because that intelligence

1:10:38you have to develop a relationship with

1:10:41and you have to begin to interact with

1:10:43it and you have to say I am emulating

1:10:47you as a creator today. I'm a child of

1:10:50God. But listen, I got to know that

1:10:54you're paying attention to my efforts

1:10:55and that you're real. So I'm tired of

1:10:58this one-way communication. some white

1:11:00guy on a cloud, you know, pissed off at

1:11:03everybody throwing lightning bolts at

1:11:04you because with a laptop keeping track

1:11:07of what you did wrong, right, and wrong.

1:11:09It's the old model of reality. If you

1:11:12are a creator, then you have to call it

1:11:14out and you have to say, I need evidence

1:11:18that you're real and you've been paying

1:11:19attention to my efforts. So if I am

1:11:22observing you and emulating you, you got

1:11:24to give me a sign and you got to bring

1:11:27it in a way that leaves no doubt that

1:11:30it's come from you so that I'm inspired

1:11:32to do it again. Because that same

1:11:34intelligence that's keeping your heart

1:11:36beating and digesting your food is the

1:11:38same intelligence that's causing planets

1:11:41to rotate around the sun and supernovas

1:11:43to be born in distant galaxies and a

1:11:45flower into bloom.

1:11:48So our job then what's our purpose in

1:11:49life? Our purpose in life isn't to to be

1:11:52good or to please God or to be beautiful

1:11:55or to be rich.

1:11:57That's not our purpose in life. Our

1:11:59purpose in life is to begin to remove

1:12:02those layers, those masks, those habits,

1:12:05those emotions that block the flow of

1:12:07the divine in us. And when you and I

1:12:10begin to remove those layers, that

1:12:12intelligence that gives us life begins

1:12:14to leak out of us. It begins to consume

1:12:18us. Its nature becomes our nature. Its

1:12:20mind becomes our mind. Its consciousness

1:12:22becomes our consciousness. We become

1:12:24more giving because it's a giver of

1:12:26life. We become more conscious. It is a

1:12:29consciousness. We become more loving. It

1:12:31is a lover of life.

1:12:35And so then as we begin to remove those

1:12:37layers and that intelligence begins to

1:12:39express itself through us, we become

1:12:40more like it.

1:12:43And all of a sudden now when you

1:12:45overcome some aspect of you and you

1:12:48freed yourself from the chains of the

1:12:49past and you are in love with life,

1:12:52there's only one thing you want to do

1:12:54when you feel that way. You want to give

1:12:58and you say, "I feel so incredible here.

1:13:01Take this. I want you to feel the way I

1:13:04feel." And all of a sudden, we go from

1:13:06living a selfish life to a selfless

1:13:10life. And so this is a time in history

1:13:14where you and I have to demonstrate

1:13:16every single change you want to see in

1:13:19the world. And when you and I begin to

1:13:21work on changing individuals, changing

1:13:23individuals, we can change a culture.

1:13:27And so this workshop, this little event

1:13:29that you're at is to inspire you to show

1:13:32up in your life differently so that when

1:13:35you show up in your life and someone

1:13:37says,

1:13:39"Did you lose some weight?" No. Did you

1:13:42change your hairstyle? No. Did you get a

1:13:45little work done? Mm- Whoa. You look

1:13:47amazing.

1:13:49Because you're no longer living by those

1:13:53limited states of mind and body. And

1:13:55when you begin to demonstrate this in

1:13:58your life, you give people permission to

1:14:00do the same. Thanks for listening.
