0:00can these replace this this this this

0:03and a wait a hammer no welding pliers or

0:08welpers now hold on they are not just

0:10for welders and they might just be the

0:13ultimate pair of pliers out there and if

0:16you think these are odd well stay tuned

0:17I've got another video where I'll be

0:19going over some really crazy type of

0:21pliers now as the name States they're

0:24welding pliers so yes you get a pair of

0:27pliers they are also good for wire

0:30cutters pipe Jaws needle noose pliers

0:33nozzle cleaner and of course a

0:36hammer but wait there's more uh this

0:40pair from yes welder they also claim

0:42it's good for car repair home repair and

0:45bicycle repair now I've had this pair

0:48for years which I do use majority for

0:50welding so I'll tell you right now if

0:53you are a welder or getting into it

0:55these are definitely a must-have now for

0:58the average DIY let's check out some of

1:01those extra features to see if it's

1:02really worth it let's at least go over

1:05the features that it's designed for so

1:08you've got some some larger pipe Jaws

1:11down here that is going to be for the uh

1:14Mig nozzle to go along with that you've

1:17got some smaller little pipe Jaws in

1:19here that would be for the contact tip

1:22the perfectly shaped needlenose pliers

1:25which technically they're not meant for

1:27that they're meant to fit right inside

1:29your knob puzzle and to clean out all

1:31the spatter the wire cutters would be

1:33well two cut your wire and the last

1:37feature is the hammer now I'm not quite

1:39sure why you would need that in welding

1:42whether it can actually be used as one

1:44that might be coming

1:47up now onto that home bike and car

1:50repair well okay they're pretty much a

1:53great pair of pliers so anywhere you

1:56would have a need for some needle nose

1:57or larger pliers or wire cut

2:01yeah they'll work great for that the

2:03instance that I ran into was I was doing

2:05some Plumbing uh some Plumbing stuff and

2:08I found out well I didn't find out but I

2:11noticed that these uh all of both the

2:13pliers they have kind of these these

2:15ridges or the grooves right there and

2:18that just allowed me to get a great

2:21clamping force on there and I was able

2:23to tighten up my pipe I don't know if

2:25you noticed sometimes with regular pipe

2:26wrenches they will leave big gouges and

2:29marks in there didn't happen with my

2:31situation it was up underneath a sink I

2:34didn't get a good video of it pair of

2:35these might just end up in my Plum unit

2:37tool back as

2:39well and as I was thinking of that

2:42you've got the smaller little pipe jaws

2:44and that would be great for really

2:46anything smaller you got some little uh

2:49bar or tubing as far as the wire cutters

2:52go well I kind of wanted to test it out

2:54the thickest stuff I had and really it's

2:57not that thick I've got some 33 inch uh

3:00TIG welding rod and and it really does I

3:03mean it just kind of snips right through

3:06that not an

3:08issue I have some steel banding and and

3:11you know of course the width of it isn't

3:14uh is too long but I can go right in the

3:17middle and pretty much score well I'm

3:19actually pretty much going right through

3:21it right there and then just a quick

3:23little Bend and it pops right up so

3:25there's another purpose I really wasn't

3:27even thinking

3:28about now looking at the picture with

3:30the home repair it's of them down in a

3:33dishwasher I have no clue what they

3:35would be doing down in a dishwasher for

3:37needing a pair of

3:40these maybe you're I don't know the

3:44other part would be I would say is

3:46they're probably getting at maybe just

3:48holding some bolts and it's like a pair

3:51of pliers definitely not the best tool

3:54to hold it and that's because you know

3:56it's kind of like either these these

3:58larger pipe Jaws they're they're either

4:00way too big I mean if if you got a bolt

4:02that big you'll want a designated socket

4:05or wrench for that and then likewise the

4:08smaller pipes are too small I don't know

4:11if you've ever tried to hold a bolt or

4:14nut try to hold it or tight it with

4:15needle nose it's just the same not the

4:18best you just can't get that good of um

4:21I guess clamping force on a bolt to

4:23tighten or loosen now one did the

4:25elephant in the OR hammer in the room

4:27okay no one's going to be trading in

4:29their hammer for a pair of pliers just

4:31saying right now just to show they might

4:34be able to help out in a pinch let's do

4:37some

4:52testing I was able to get a couple Nails

4:55in and maybe the trim nail went off

4:57crooked and both of them took about 10

5:00times the amount of time and effort as

5:02the regular Hammer but already mentioned

5:04you're not going to trade in your hammer

5:07for a pair of welding pliers so I would

5:10say for that feature no now as far as

5:13the versatility of the other tools I do

5:15grab this more than I do my regular

5:17pliers or needle nose so this isn't a

5:20sponsored video so whether you pick up a

5:23yes welder I think these ones were

5:25Pittsburgh you know what Harbor Freight

5:27yes welder really I'm kind of telling

5:30you to grab some of the cheapest ones

5:32you'll love it that's all I got I'm

5:34mechm we'll see you next time
