0:03my name is Rachel Brunson and I am the

0:07founding director of Montessori infant

0:09nido environment one of the things that

0:12is so wonderful about this program is

0:14that we have put into play an

0:18educational curriculum for infants and

0:20toddlers that respects and honors those

0:23first three years where you are not

0:26learning your alphabet where you are

0:28learning how to move your hand where you

0:31want it to go how to experience the

0:34world the rules of the world how you put

0:37your shoes on how to put your coat on

0:40how to eat with a spoon

0:44Montessori infant nito environment is is

0:48now a team of people who are

0:50enthusiastic about Montessori curriculum

0:52not only Montessori and early childhood

0:56and giving the best but also about

0:59nutrition and peace initiatives in the

1:02classroom and a green centered

1:05curriculum at mine we celebrate food and

1:10everything that that means it offers all

1:13organic vegetarian menus it offers a

1:17seed to table experience for the

1:19children the children starting in

1:22January they plant the seeds in the

1:25classroom the shoots come up and then

1:28they go outside and they plant it and

1:30our garden is growing outside and the

1:32children get to watch it they daily grow

1:35there's not always the opportunity in

1:38every child's life to experience the

1:41food in the way that they get to it mine

1:43one of the things that is so wonderful

1:46about this program is that it is all

1:48organic that may

1:50every sheet that a child lays on every

1:54blanket every piece of food in their

1:57mouth everything is organic when

2:00teaching children it's really important

2:02to model respect one of my favorite

2:05works is in the toddler classroom and

2:07it's called difference is normal and

2:10it's a matching work with with pictures

2:13of people that are different different

2:16looking for whatever reason and simply

2:20by having that work in the classroom the

2:22children learn on a daily basis that

2:25difference is normal so this dream I had

2:31all those years ago has grown bigger and

2:34better more successful and much faster

2:36than I ever could have imagined we are

2:38bursting at the seams
