0:00Dude, no way. Look at that. Is that a

0:02diamond? Oh my god. Last year, my

0:04grandma got scammed by a jeweler when

0:06she went to buy a gold necklace. So

0:08today, I decide to take matters into my

0:10own hands and fly to the jewelry capital

0:12of the world, aka New York's diamond

0:14district. But we're not here to buy

0:16their overpriced jewelry. We're here to

0:18mine their gold. One month ago, we came

0:20here and found $260 worth of golden gems

0:23after mining for just 6 hours. But this

0:25time, we're going to search the entire

0:27day with one goal. To make $1,000 to buy

0:30my grandma a real gold necklace. All

0:32right, it's currently 9:00 a.m. We're

0:34supposed to be here at 7:00, but we

0:35slept in. So, let's clock in. So, first,

0:38I used this tool to loosen the dirt

0:40while Clem sucked it up and dumped it

0:42into the bucket. People actually buy

0:43this stuff. I'm serious. There are

0:45people that sell New York City tater.

0:47We're going to be panning out some New

0:48York sidewalk scotch. Hopefully, we find

0:50some golden gems. We're here getting it

0:52for free, bro. Why don't we just sell

0:53the dirt? I actually never thought of

0:54that.

0:56You ever seen anyone dig out here

0:58before? Yeah. You have? Been here 18

1:00years. My other friend used to do it.

1:02How do you make good money? Made $1,000

1:05a week.

1:07All righty. We'll do, man. We'll do.

1:09Now, after getting some motivation from

1:11a local, we kept mining one crack at a

1:13time despite people looking at us like

1:15we were crazy. A lot of people are

1:16laughing at me right now, but they're

1:18not going to be laughing when I find a

1:19$5,000 diamond. This is just as boring

1:21as the first time. This is way more fun

1:22than a 9 to 5 clown. Dude, what even

1:24happened to your grandma's other

1:25necklace? Pisses me off, man. Basically,

1:28she went into one of these shops and

1:29spent her hard-earned money. I know.

1:31Real necklace. That turned green 2 weeks

1:33later. That's tough, man. And that's why

1:35we're here to get our revenge. So, we

1:37got back to work clearing cracks past

1:39rows of jewelry stores knowing any

1:41handful of dirt could be worth hundreds.

1:43When something caught my eye. Look at

1:44that. That's not a rock. I got it. I got

1:46it. Oh, no. No. Oh, grab the tweezers.

1:48That could be a gem. No way. That's not

1:50glass. What is that? I think that's a

1:51garnet. That's crazy. How much is this

1:53worth? At least $ 20 to $30. What are

1:56you guys doing? We're just mining for

1:57treasure. Mining for golden diamonds.

1:59Can't be digging up the ground on the

2:01sidewalk like this. Oh, we can't. No. As

2:03long as we like clean up all the dirt.

2:05Are we good or no?

2:08We make sure it's spotless. Well, you're

2:10digging up into what's keeping the We

2:13made sure not to like dig up the rubber.

2:15We've just been like finding areas with

2:16just dirt cuz obviously we're not trying

2:18to tear up the ground. This part here is

2:19all dirt as you can see, but like we're

2:21not going to dig up this.

2:23I'll do that. Appreciate it. Now that I

2:25think about it, I have a feeling one of

2:26these jewelers reported us. No way.

2:28Actually, yeah. We're just mad that

2:29we're sharing our treasure hunting

2:31secrets with the world. Soon enough,

2:32there's going to be 10 people out here

2:34mined for gold, and we're going to put a

2:35hole in their pocket. Now, despite this

2:37jeweler trying to scare us off, we

2:39refused to back down and kept digging

2:41harder than ever, determined to reach

2:42our goal. Keep your eyes on the prize,

2:44one pound at a time. But eventually it

2:46got harder to find good cracks and we

2:48started falling behind. We've been

2:49mining 2 hours. We have maybe 2 lb of

2:51dirt. It's not going to cut it. We're

2:52going to need at least 40 lb if we want

2:54a chance at making it 1,000 bucks. So we

2:56decide to make our way farther down 47th

2:58Street and invest in the crack sweeper

3:009000 to give my back a break and help us

3:03mine even faster. This is a good crack.

3:05It's deep. It's full of dark dirt. This

3:07is where we're going to find the golden

3:08chest. We're going to mine every crack

3:09in this city, guys. Then as we were

3:11digging, another local told us something

3:13crazy. What did you find in the streets?

3:14$2,000.

3:16Damn. Were you you were panning it out

3:18and like No, I was just walking and it

3:19was a yellow Canary Tiffany ring. Holy

3:23This was a couple of years ago.

3:25What was your reaction? Do you think it

3:26was real? Yeah. When I saw Tiffany, I

3:28said yes. I thought 20. They said 32. I

3:30said bring it on. Easy money, bro.

3:35We'll do. Appreciate it. What do you

3:36think's the most expensive gemstone

3:38could find? Oh, you could find the $30

3:40$50,000 stone. I find gemstones on the

3:43ground when I'm sweeping in my store.

3:44The little ones and then you be like,

3:46"Oh, there's a jewelry piece that's

3:47missing a stone." This is a $30,000

3:49parcel. You drop one of these stones,

3:50it's about $3,000. Oh wow. Then not even

3:53an hour later, I spotted a massive gem

3:55buried in the sidewalk. Look at that. Is

3:57that a diamond? Oh my god. Get the

4:00tester. Grab the tester. I got it. No.

4:03No. It's fake. Fake. Yeah, it's a big

4:06one. Beautiful. It is though. Wow.

4:08That's crazy. Maybe since

4:114,000 million 4,000. Yeah. Wow. So, we

4:15got to find a real one. Now, even though

4:16that gem turned out to be fake, we knew

4:18there were still real ones down here.

4:20So, after 6 hours of collecting dirt, I

4:22decided to split up and mine a few other

4:24spots while Clem kept working the

4:26diamond district. Guys, I'm working my

4:28off out here. I have no clue where Claw

4:30is. Nate is running the buckets. I'm

4:32getting tired. I don't know if we're

4:33going to meet our goal. It's going to be

4:35close. Hopefully, he's having better

4:36luck than me.

4:39Got a little apple charm. I don't have

4:41to buy a souvenir. I know Central Park

4:42might sound like kind of a reach, but I

4:44figure thousands of people passed by

4:45here, so I feel like there could be

4:47something worth finding. So, for the

4:48rest of the afternoon, I continued

4:50collecting dirt from a few busy spots

4:52while Nate ran buckets back to the

4:54hotel. Each pound giving us a better

4:55shot when we panned it out.

4:58As you could see, the sun has gone down,

5:00but we're still out here working. The

5:02streets are empty, minus a few

5:04crackheads. So, let's just keep our eyes

5:06open and lock in. Now, after mining

5:08these streets for 9 hours, we were all

5:10pretty tired. But we'd come too far to

5:12quit now. Everywhere I looked, there was

5:14either a rat or a crackhead. Clen,

5:16there's only a few more hours until the

5:17sun comes up and the crackheads will be

5:18gone. Then, as the night went on, we

5:20kept at it, scanning every crack, hoping

5:22to find another gem. Look at that. Is

5:24that a gem? Wait, Clen, come. That's

5:26glass. I thought we found another

5:28emerald. Now, in the last video, we

5:30found about $250 worth of golden gems

5:32after panning 20 lb of dirt. So, I knew

5:35if we wanted any shot at making $1,000,

5:37we had to step it up. Everything you

5:39got, guys, you can't disappoint my

5:40grandma. So, we kept running over rats,

5:42sweeping cracks, and running buckets,

5:44determined to hit our 40 lb goal before

5:46our flight left in just a few hours. We

5:49can't miss any cracks. Oh, it's 4:00

5:51a.m. Just give me 10 more minutes. Come

5:53on, CL. Look at that. That's our biggest

5:56piece yet. That's what I'm talking

5:58about. Then, just as we were getting

5:59close to our 40 lb goal, Nate vanished.

6:04hasn't texted us back in over an hour.

6:05We're running out of time. Clem, we need

6:06the bucket. Where could he have gone?

6:08Maybe he lost signal. I told him to

6:10download SY. Sy is an eim app that gives

6:13you fast internet in over 200 countries

6:15straight from your phone. And it's

6:17perfect for traveling because even in

6:18places you'd think you'd have service.

6:20Sometimes it just cuts out. So, I use it

6:22whenever I travel to load maps and do

6:24research whenever my signal randomly

6:26drops. They also offer multiple plans

6:28with some of the best prices in the

6:30game. So whether you're navigating or

6:31just trying to stay connected, SY makes

6:33sure you've always got service. Plus,

6:48Now, let's get back to the video. Claw,

6:51come check this out. Come here. He's

6:52trolling. He's trolling, bro. This isn't

6:53glass. No way. That's the real deal. Oh

6:56my god. We haven't even started panning

6:58any dirt yet, and we already got a

6:59diamond. That is the find we needed. Our

7:01diamond tester is dead. So, let's go

7:02ship this dirt, pan it out, and get this

7:04appraised with whatever else we find.

7:06Then, as the sun came up, we carefully

7:07started bagging all the dirt. This is

7:09disgusting. I know. Let's just get it

7:11over with. What if we get caught in the

7:12airport? Listen, we're going to triple

7:14bag it. No questions asked. Then, we

7:16went to the airport and smuggled the

7:17dirt back to Buffalo. All right,

7:19everyone. We just made it back to the

7:20compound and we got all the supplies we

7:22need to pan out this dirt. So, let's get

7:24to work. So, first we began running dirt

7:26through the old three-phase screening

7:28process to separate the lighter stuff

7:29from the heavier material. I see a

7:31little something. We got a piece of a

7:32necklace and a gold clasp. Could be

7:34worth a couple bucks. You got anything,

7:35Clump? Nope. Now, we didn't spot

7:37anything crazy in the first few pans,

7:39but luckily, we still had 38 lb of dirt.

7:41So, we continued patiently sifting until

7:43we spotted our first sign of gold. Now,

7:46that's what I like to see. We got a few

7:47tiny specks of gold right there. And the

7:49price of gold is up right now, so this

7:51stuff's definitely going to add up.

7:52Yeah, but we're going to have to find

7:53something else if we want to afford that

7:54necklace. I agree. We need diamonds,

7:56guys. We need diamonds. So, we continued

7:58panning for another 30 minutes and found

8:00some worthless metal, a cheap earring

8:02stud, and our first potential gem. I

8:04don't know what this is, but it might be

8:05a gem. That just looks like a button. I

8:07don't know. I guess we'll just have to

8:08wait and see what the jeweler has to

8:10say. Now, after panning through 20% of

8:12the dirt and barely finding anything, I

8:14was starting to get nervous. I feel like

8:15we might have missed something. Are you

8:17sure you double checked? I feel like

8:18you're kind of rushing the process here.

8:19What are you doing? I'm just seeing if

8:20we missed any gold. You're like Gollum

8:22from Lord of the Rings. We need to spend

8:24an entire day in New York City to come

8:26up short clown. We just got to be

8:27patient. All right. All it takes is one

8:29gem to change everything. And things

8:31finally started turning around when we

8:32found a 1 g silver bar, a gold chain

8:35link, and our most interesting find yet.

8:37What? No way. I think that's a pearl.

8:39How did we not see that? If this is

8:41real, this could be worth a lot of

8:43money. This is the momentum we needed,

8:44guys. I'm telling you, all the good

8:46stuff's going to be on the bottom of the

8:47suitcase. Fingers crossed. Then just

8:49three pans later, Clem spotted what

8:50could be our most expensive find yet.

8:53Oh. Oh my god, dude. I think that's a

8:54diamond. You see it? Pull it out. Pull

8:55it out. Dude, dude, dude. Look. I think

8:57you're right. If this is real, we could

8:59sell this for at least1 $200. That is

9:01huge. Got to keep it going. We're going

9:03to have to find as many diamonds as we

9:04can if we're going to pull this off.

9:05Now, although we were finally having

9:07some luck, each pan was taking nearly 8

9:09minutes to sift through. So, we decided

9:11to upgrade to the slle to speed things

9:13up. Now, the SLE is going to carry all

9:15the heavier material downstream and help

9:17us separate anything valuable. You see

9:19anything, Clen? Just rocks and

9:20cigarettes. Keep your eyes peeled. We

9:22can't afford to miss anything. Then,

9:24after just a few minutes of running dirt

9:25through the slle, we spotted glass, a

9:28coin, and our first sign of gold. Is

9:29that gold? Yes, it is. Got a few tiny

9:31specks in there. Every little piece

9:33counts. We're going to need all the help

9:34we can get, guys. Then, after just a few

9:36more scoops, something shiny caught our

9:38eye. Oh. Oh. Oh, what is that? That has

9:40to be a gem. Looks like it might be

9:42jade. Maybe malachite. what I'm talking

9:43about, Clem. Then we kept feeding the

9:45SLE one scoop at a time, hoping to find

9:47enough to get my grandma that necklace.

9:49We're down to our last 6 lb of dirt.

9:51This is the moment we trained for. It

9:53all comes down to this. Then after

9:54searching the last six lbs, we managed

9:56to find two more gems. And not just one,

9:59but another three potential diamonds. If

10:01this is real, this is our sixth diamond.

10:03I did not think we were going to find

10:04this many diamonds. All from the

10:06sidewalks. Guys, this is a great haul.

10:08Now, after searching all the dirt, we

10:09headed to Kirk's Jewelers to get

10:11everything appraised.

10:13Hello.

10:15Hello. Long time no see. How you been?

10:17Good. How are you? Not bad. All right.

10:19Let's cut this and get to business.

10:22[Music]

10:23Let us know how much you think they're

10:24worth. Didn't do that. Then I sorted our

10:26finds into three groups. Random jewelry,

10:28gemstones, and diamonds. Now, first,

10:31Adam's going to take a look at some of

10:32the random stuff we found and let us

10:33know how much it's worth. Okay. Okay.

10:35So, this is this is fake. Okay. Chain

10:38link. This looks like sterling silver.

10:39$5. This is actually pretty cool. It's 1

10:41g uh worth of silver. Maybe a dollar.

10:43What about the class? This actually

10:45looks like gold. That's good. That's

10:46promising.

10:48Probably $15. All right. Slow and

10:50steady. Now, what do you think about

10:51this pearl? It's real. Let's go. All

10:53right. Well, how much is it worth? 60

10:55bucks. Yes. That's what I'm talking

10:57about. Now, we didn't know what these

10:59were, but we were hoping they might be

11:00gems. Okay. This is nothing. What is it?

11:03Looks like glass. Can you check it one

11:05more time? It's worthless. But this this

11:07is Onyx. Probably get 20 bucks. I knew

11:10that wasn't a button. Now, after sorting

11:11through all our random finds, Adam

11:13weighed all our gold and went to the

11:14back to inspect our remaining gems. Got

11:17four gems here. What do we got? The

11:18first stone, it's synthetic, so it's

11:20worthless, basically. All right, guys.

11:22We still got the diamonds. So, this one

11:24is a parado. Oh, what? Parido. It's a

11:26green stone that you find in the desert

11:28or in dry areas. Is it expensive for

11:30this size? 30 bucks. We mined 40 lb of

11:33sidewalks, guys. Got to make it $1,000,

11:35right? I It's going to be hard. Got a

11:37lot of diamonds, though. Oh, take a

11:39look. Okay, so next what we have is a

11:41sapphire. Oh, I forgot sapphires could

11:43be green. Yes, it actually can be many

11:45colors like red, pink, yellow, orange.

11:48All right, so how much is it worth? Come

11:49on, dude. We don't have all day. Uh, you

11:52can probably get 70 bucks. That's what

11:54we needed. Is that a garnet? Yes, this

11:55is a garnet. I knew it. That was the

11:57first gem we found in the sidewalk. It's

11:58a good size. Probably can get 30 bucks.

12:00All right. Guess it all comes down to

12:01the diamonds, guys. They don't call it

12:02the diamond district for nothing. That

12:04was terrible, bro. So, Adam took all our

12:07diamonds to the back and began testing

12:09them one by one while we anxiously

12:10waited to see how many were real. After

12:13mining 40 lb of sidewalk dirt, it all

12:15comes down to this. We need at least

12:17half them to be real. Okay, I got some

12:19good news and I got some bad news.

12:20What's the verdict? These two stones

12:22that are bigger, CZs, not real. But what

12:25about these ones? Out of the five, two

12:28are diamonds. The three are fake. Okay.

12:30All right. How much are we talking for

12:33both of them?

12:36150 bucks.

12:38But Claw, you could still get a nice

12:39necklace for your grandma. Solid gold

12:42with some stones in it. Actually, for

12:44only 460. Yeah, you can get a beautiful

12:46necklace for that. That's what I'm

12:48talking about. Yeah. So, I picked out

12:50the best necklace I could and headed to

12:52my grandma's to surprise her. How

12:53exciting. Wow, look at that. It's

12:56beautiful. Thank you so much. This is

12:59some nice ice. Thanks for watching till

13:01the end. Click here to watch another and
