0:00How to add a location on Google
0:02Maps. Hey guys, in today's video I'm
0:05going to show you how to add a missing
0:07location to Google Maps. This is perfect
0:09for adding your new business, your
0:12favorite hidden gem, or any place that's
0:15not already listed. So, let's get
0:17started. First, open the Google Maps app
0:20on your phone or go to maps.google.com
0:22in your web
0:23browser. Find the approximate location
0:26on the map where you want to add the
0:27place.
0:29Tap and hold on the spot where the
0:31location should
0:33be. A red pin will drop at the bottom of
0:36the screen. Tap the information card
0:38that pops up. Here you'll see a option
0:41for add a missing place. Tap on
0:44it. Now fill in the details like enter
0:48the name of the place. Choose the most
0:50appropriate category, restaurant, store,
0:53park. Then enter the full address. Tap
0:56add more details. Here you can add the
1:00business hours if
1:02applicable. Enter the phone number. Add
1:05the website if it has one. Add photos of
1:08the place. Before submitting, double
1:10check all the information for accuracy.
1:13Tap the submit icon in the bottom right.
1:16Now Google will review your submission.
1:19This can take some time. You'll receive
1:21an email notification when your addition
1:23is approved or if they need more
1:25information.
