4:44friends. So, we got Christopher Sanchez

4:46going against Jonah Tong. Uh Jonah

4:49Tong's been surprisingly really good.

4:50Actually,

4:52I have him actually ranked higher than

4:55Christopher Sanchez with his advanced

4:56numbers. I know he's not a better

4:58pitcher than Christopher Sanchez, but

4:59his numbers are very good. His advanced

5:02and his expected numbers are also really

5:04good. Uh Mets have an advantage in the

5:07bullpen. Got the rank the Mets ranked

5:09four. Philly's ranked 20 uh hitting.

5:13Philly has a slight advantage, but a lot

5:16of things are pointing to the Mets here,

5:17guys. But it is September as you guys

5:21mentioned in the comments and we do have

5:22to gauge motivation. So Philly's

5:25motivation to win this game is extremely

5:27high because they have the final

5:29wildcard position and they need to keep

5:31winning to keep Arizona behind. Uh

5:35they're still fighting Chicago San Diego

5:37for better wild card seating. So Philly

5:39has a lot of motivation here. The Mets,

5:42their motivation is low. They're

5:44basically eliminated. Uh, so they're

5:46just trying to play spoiler here despite

5:49the numbers pointing towards the Mets.

5:51Let me see who's winning this series.

5:57yesterday. Uh, but today Christopher

6:00Sanchez much better pitcher. Uh, let's

6:04see. The Mets won the day before that

6:06and the Phillies won the day before

6:08that. The Phillies really need a win

6:11Christopher Sanchez. Uh even though my

6:14numbers say that the Mets have the

6:16better bullpin. Uh I don't know. I I

6:20think Phillies first five is I don't

6:23know. Phillies maybe Phillies full game.

6:28can get a four and a half is how I would

6:30probably play this. Uh yeah, this is a

6:34tough one. Uh cuz the Mets really need

6:36it. But my numbers are pointing or I'm

6:38sorry, the Phillies need it, but my Mets

6:39are but my numbers are pointing towards

6:41the Mets. But I really don't like the

6:43Mets. So at minus 400, you have to get

6:46very creative to bet the Dodgers. Yeah,

6:49exactly. You know, one good way to bet a

6:51team that's minus 400 is take their

6:53pitcher to get the win. Usually get

6:55pretty good odds on that.

6:58Um, how about Stevenson getting knocked

7:00out last night? Yeah. Yeah, I did see

7:03that. Um, all right. That's how I would

7:07approach this game, guys. It's Phillies

7:08or nothing for me, despite what my

7:10numbers say. Sanchez is a really good

7:13pitcher and I think he'll bounce back.

7:16He He's had some rough starts recently.

7:18I think he bounces back. They really

7:20really need a win. So I think it'd be

7:22Phillies or nothing here.

7:25You can take a minus one as well. Likely

7:27a rain delay in A's Cleveland. That

7:29sucks. Let's go to the second game,

7:32guys. Uh first of all, let me get my uh

7:35timestamps straight. We're at 7:35.

7:39So, let me get the time stamp in and

7:41then we will go on to the Royals and the

7:44pirates.

8:12off. Sanchez is still better than either

8:14one of the two guys we're looking at

8:16here. Am I right?

8:18So, let's take a look at Kansas City

8:22and Pittsburgh first. Let me pull the

8:26stats up. So, basically, I'm just taking

8:28you guys through exactly how I do my

8:30capping with wager. Oh, by the way, uh

8:33there's a Japanese game that I really

8:36like tomorrow. I'm thinking about making

8:37it a 5% play. I'm just waiting for the

8:39numbers to come out. As you know, uh my

8:43Asian baseball, Japanese, and Korean

8:47wager talk lets me sell them for half

8:50price. So, there may be a a halfp price

8:525% bet out in Japanese baseball today,

8:58what would be like 1000 p.m. Eur's time.

9:01Uh, so I'm I'm I'm pretty sure I'm going

9:04to put that out, so stay tuned.

9:08Taking a look at these two teams. Uh,

9:10motivation, Kansas City, low. They're

9:12mathematically eliminated. They're just

9:15checking individual performance

9:18development players. Pittsburgh low. Uh,

9:22they're eliminated as well, but they're

9:24around 500 and they kind of have a

9:26little incentive to win. So motivation,

9:28I give Pittsburgh a small tick.

9:31Pittsburgh's got the better bullpen.

9:32Actually, I've got Kansas City's bullpen

9:34ranked deadl dead last in all of MLB

9:37right now, ranked 30, where I've got

9:40Pittsburgh ranked 17. Neither one very

9:42good. Uh these uh I'm sorry, that was

9:47the hitting numbers. My my my apology.

9:49Uh hitting, I've got Kansas City ranked

9:51dead last. Uh and I've got Kansas City's

9:54bullpen ranked 26 out of 30, which is

9:56close to dead last. Um, Pittsburgh's

10:00bullpen 20, Pittsburgh's hitting 18.

10:05Uh, starting pitchers, I got Waka ranked

10:0712. So, WAKA's having pretty good season

10:09actually. And those are expected

10:10numbers. Um, not bad at all. And BAR is

10:15just behind him at 13 out of 30. I I I

10:18take my starting pitchers and I curve

10:19them on a curve of 30. So, both pitchers

10:23pretty good. Neither lineups are doing

10:25anything. Both bullpens are terrible.

10:27This looks to me like a first five

10:29under. Uh so if I'm going to play this

10:31game, I would play first five under. If

10:33you can get a four and a half, I think

10:35that would be great. Uh I think that'd

10:37be a pretty darn good bet. So uh Kansas

10:40City Pittsburgh, I would think about an

10:41under in the first five. That's how I

10:44would approach that one.

14:56would you rather listen to, me or Chris

14:59So, we've got the Athletics going

15:02against the Guardians. Um, first, let's

15:07take a look at the starting pitchers and

15:08let me put them in. Uh, we've got

15:14we've got Gavin Williams going against

15:17Perkins. Perkins, not a very good

15:19pitcher. Uh, kind of a development kind

15:23of guy. Um, I've got him ranked 21

15:27out of 30. Uh, so not very good. Uh,

15:31I've got Gavin Williams ranked nine on a

15:34curve of 30. Bullpin wise, Cleveland has

15:38a much better bullpen. Ranked six. Got

15:40the A's ranked 26, 20 points better.

15:44And hitting, Guardians slightly above

15:47average out of 30 teams. They're 13. Uh,

15:50and the A's are 29 right now. So, the

15:52A's are 22nd or worse at everything.

15:57And Gavin Williams has some great

15:59commanding control. Um, he's only

16:02walking 24% of the guys he's striking

16:04out. If you've watched videos

16:05previously, between 30% and 40% is where

16:08you want to be in. He's at 24. Very

16:10good. Uh, Perkins is at 41. So, not

16:14great. Uh, not not terrible, though.

16:18He's just out of the range that I like.

16:20Um, let me see how this series has gone

16:23so far.

16:25So, Guardians, can they sweep the

16:28series? Well, they've won the first two.

16:31Let's take a look at their motivation

16:33here. Um, the Guardians have extremely

16:37high motivation because they have a one

16:39game AL Central lead over the White

16:42Socks. Every win directly affects

16:45whether they can win this or not. Uh,

16:48and the Athletics

16:50have zero motivation. They're

16:52eliminated. They're basically playing

16:53spoiler and evaluating

16:56young players.

16:59What odds do we get for Cleveland here?

17:01Cuz

17:03uh, minus 247.

17:06So, couple of red flags here. I mean,

17:08obviously Cleveland would be the only

17:09way you can bet this. The problem is

17:12they've won the first two games and

17:14sweeping a team is really hard. So,

17:16number one, that's that's one red flag.

17:19I'm not saying that's a deal breakaker,

17:21but it's one thing that makes me go, hm,

17:23do I want to do this or not? And then

17:26the other thing uh that makes me think,

17:29hm, do I want to do this or not?

17:33I guess that's about it.

17:36Uh, sweep or no sweep. Uh, Cleveland

17:39needs to win really bad. So, I think

17:41that motivation might be enough to uh

17:45eliminate that red flag. But minus 250

17:50at home, it's hard to take a minus one

17:53and a half with a home team because they

17:54they won't bat in the ninth inning if

17:57they're winning. It's really hard to win

17:59by two. In this case, I generally like

18:02to do a minus one, but the minus1 only

18:05brings this down to about minus 200. Uh,

18:09so do you want to take Cleveland minus

18:10200 instead of minus 250? I mean,

18:13Cleveland's probably the only way to go

18:15here, but I don't know if I want to do a

18:17minus one at minus 200, but if I was

18:20going to bet it, that would be how I

18:21would do it.

18:24You live by the Omni Golf Course. Oh,

18:27Oral Valley. Okay, I know where you're

18:29at, Steve. Um, I'm in Anthem. Uh,

18:34so yeah, a little bit of a drive, but

18:37you know, all those freeways hook up. I

18:38take the 202 out west and then I take

18:40the 101 south. So, take that to

18:43Glendale, get off and go to the uh to

18:46the Desert Diamond, baby. My uncle

18:49actually lives way out there in Sun

18:51City, so

18:53uh MLB is so good on Sunday. Feel like

18:55everyone's focused on NFL. Yeah, you you

18:58do get a lot of value. Be careful on

19:00Sundays though cuz a lot of upsets. A

19:02lot of dogs win on Sundays. I like the

19:04Red Sox money line today. I can't argue

19:07with you, Joseph. I cannot argue with

19:09you. Um Red Sox are a really good

19:12underdog play, I think, today. Um I

19:15think we'll get to that game in just a

19:18minute, but I think they're on the verge

19:19of a sweep as well, though, so it's kind

19:21of a red flag. I might be wrong. We'll

19:24get to that in a minute. Valid point.

19:26Collinssworth is jerking off Pat

19:28Mahomes. He likes Pat Mahomes, that's

19:30for sure. Uh, love the new graphics.

19:50Yeah, I I don't I wouldn't bet an over

19:53or under there. They they're probably

19:54going to score two and a half or two or

19:57three. So, home dogs on Sunday. I I kind

20:00of agree with that, which is yeah, a lot

20:02of upsets on Sunday. So, uh yeah, Anthem

20:07is kind of nice. It's kind of lovely. Um

20:11let's get to the next game. We are going

20:13to go to Boston and Tampa, which you

20:16guys have been chomping at the bit to

20:18get to. So, uh yeah, I did misspeak. Uh

20:23they're not going for a sweep here. So

20:25let's take a look at what we got. Jacks

20:29and Sandival.

20:32Everything points Tampa here, guys, with

20:34my numbers. Um I got Jack's rate 13,

20:38Sandival 23

20:40out of 30. Bullpens, both of them are

20:43number four, so it's kind of a tie in

20:46that respect.

20:49hitting. Got the Rays ranked sixth in

20:52Major League Baseball and I've got the

20:54Red Sox ranked 26.

20:57So, it'd be Rays or nothing. Let's take

20:59a look if there are any red flags.

21:05Look, checking for red flags. Red Sox

21:08won game one.

21:10Rays won game two. No red flag there.

21:13Taking a look at some motivation here.

21:16Red Sox are highly motivated here. Uh

21:19they need wins to lock down uh a playoff

21:23birth. It's not guaranteed. And Tampa,

21:26they've already clinched their wild

21:28their playoff birth, but they need to

21:30win to finish off the Yankees in the AL

21:32East. So, both teams motivated. The only

21:35red flag here for Tampa in my opinion is

21:38the fact that a lot of uh underdogs win

21:40on Sunday. Pretty much it. I mean, Tampa

21:44excellent home record. They're 54 and 26

21:46at home, but the Red Sox are good on the

21:49road. 4634.

21:51Um, Sandival,

21:54I think the comments are nailing it

21:55perfectly. Sandival has been ass. He's 1

21:58and6 with a 5 RA. It's not very good.

22:02Jax has a losing record. He's seven and

22:0410 with a 38.

22:07Um,

22:09yeah, Tampa are nothing for me here,

22:11guys. Sorry. Uh - 148. If you don't want

22:16to swallow that, you can do a minus one

22:18for minus 125. I think that's a good

22:20number for the Rays.

22:23Tampa can't hit lefties. Um they can hit

24:16the Cubs going against Louder.

24:21Um, one thing when I researched this

24:23game that I noticed was that Peterson

24:26gets absolutely drilled by the Reds

24:29throughout his entire career.

24:3497 at bats against,

24:36371 batting average, and a 925 OPS.

24:41That's almost 100 at bats, guys. That's

24:44like that's like almost four full games,

24:47and they still hit 371.

24:52If you like to do hit props, I would

24:55recommend doing hits, runs, RBI's.

24:59JJ Bleeday.

25:01He is seven of 15. Uh he's got a 467

25:06average. So if you want a hits, runs RBI

25:08prop, he would be your guy to bet. Let's

25:11see who else is doing damage. Tyler

25:13Stevenson, seven for 15. Uh he would be

25:17a great hits, runs, RBI's bet today as

25:20well.

25:22So

25:25props for this game, I think. Um

25:28Oh yeah, the Cubs were my 5% play

25:32yesterday. That's right. I had the Cubs.

25:34Uh it was a pretty easy win actually.

25:36They won 5 to2. Reds won game one. So

25:39there's no red flags here. Taking the

25:40Cubs. The red flag though is Peterson is

25:43awful against this team. If I were going

25:45to bet this game, I would take either

25:47one of those two guys that I just

25:48mentioned on a hits runs RBI's.

25:51Um Cubs bullpen is kind of ass right now

25:54as well. Um, neither starting pitcher is

25:57good. I think about I would think about

26:00an over in this game as well. Let's see

26:02what our over is because Peterson's

26:05going to give up runs and Louder is just

26:08an awful pitcher. Nine and a half. Uh,

29:53get my thoughts together, and then I run

29:55my numbers and see if my numbers in

29:58reinforce what I thought. Um, Hunter

30:01Brown, absolute stud pitcher in the

30:03past, but this year I feel like he's

30:06struggling a little, but my expected

30:08numbers and my ranking for him, I have

30:10him ranked six on a curve of 30, which

30:13is very high.

30:15Perez got him 19. Uh, bullpen wise,

30:19they're pretty even. They're both like

30:22in the mediocre range, right around 15.

30:24So, uh, no real advantage either way

30:27there. And hitting wise, the Atlanta

30:30bats are heating up a bit. They're

30:32ranked 12 out of 30, where the the

30:34Astros are pretty cold, ranked 23. Um,

30:37one thing about Hunter Brown, his walk

30:39rate is very acceptable. It's with it's

30:41it's in the good range. He's 34. That

30:44means he's walking 34% of the guys he's

30:47striking out. Martin Perez, awful. He's

30:50walking 77% of the guys he's striking

30:53out. That to me I think is enough to

30:56wake up these Houston bats. Just looking

30:59at this I think Houston is the play, but

31:01we have to check motivation and we also

31:03have to check the uh

31:08uh the series where we're at in the

31:09series. So, uh Atlanta high motivation.

31:13They have a a playoff birth. their one

31:16or two uh wins, let's see, one win or

31:20one Phillies loss and they will secure

31:23the NL East.

31:25So, they're competing for playoff

31:27position. Houston is extremely highly

31:29motivated right now. They're only one

31:32game behind Texas in the American League

31:34West, two behind Chicago for the final

31:37wildcard. So, this is a must win for the

31:41for the Astros. And I like the Astros

31:43here. Um, let's see what the number is.

31:46Minus 149. That's a little steep. Let's

31:49see how Hunter Brown has done against

31:51these guys.

31:55Ah, he's got bad numbers against the

31:56Braves, guys. Be careful taking the

31:58Astros.

53:05got a 6-2 record with a 265 RA. If he's

53:10okay, yeah, he's he's a reliever. I

53:13mean, he's an opener basically. Um, he's

53:15never gone more than two innings. So,

53:17that explains it. That explains it.

53:22So, we're going to see a good healthy

53:23dose of the the Blue Jays bullpen today.

53:26But that's not a bad thing because the

53:28Blue Jays bullpen is like the one saving

53:30grace of this team. Got him ranked 11,

53:33which is much better than Texas's

53:35bullpen in current form. Texas, I got

53:37him 16.

53:40Starting pitcher, Jacob Deg Grom is a

53:42good starting pitcher, but he's had some

53:44off games. Uh if there if the Blue Jays

53:47are opening with Spencer Miles, I see

53:50very little runs in the beginning of

53:52this game. Although both teams are

53:54crushing the ball right now. Texas

53:56ranked nine, Blue Jays ranked 12. You

53:59know what the check motivation? I think

54:02both of these teams are pretty

54:03motivated. Yeah, Toronto extremely high

54:06motivation. three games behind the final

54:09AL wild card with little schedule

54:12remaining. Uh

54:14virtually every loss is now potentially

54:17fatal.

54:18Texas owns a oneame AL West lead over

54:22Houston, but Houston has the tiebreaker,

54:25so the Rangers need wins here, too. I

54:29think

54:30um it looks like an under in the first

54:32five, but these lineups are crushing.

54:37I, you know, I I don't know why the Blue

54:40Jays are this big of an underdog either.

54:43Um,

54:45I don't think the Blue Jays are that

54:46much worse than the Rangers.

54:49I you know, Deg Grom's a good pitcher,

54:51but it I mean, so is I mean, Miles is a

54:54good pitcher, too, although we'll only

54:56see him for two innings. But the Jays

54:58bullpen, too, they're pretty darn good.

55:00I think maybe the Blue Jays plus one and

55:03a half would be a good play here. They

1:08:21individual milestones. So,

1:08:27Angels have better numbers, but the

1:08:28Twins have more reason to win. And

1:08:32honestly, the Twins have a better

1:08:33pitcher even though it's Dean Crummer.

1:11:16over to me because honestly, I don't

1:11:18want to back either one of these

1:11:20pitchers right now. Um,

1:11:23neither one of these pitchers are

1:11:24actually giving me I don't feel very

1:11:28confident backing either one of these

1:11:29guys. Let me see what the total is. Can

1:11:31we get a low total? It's eight. I think

1:11:34over eight is the play here, guys. Check

1:11:37the motivation. Miami low. They're

1:11:39eliminated. They're trying to play

1:11:41spoiler. San Diego very high. Uh,

1:11:43they're battling Chicago for the top NL

1:11:46wildard position and home field
