0:00This is a story about a boy named David
0:01who possesses the power of
0:02teleportation, though he is unaware of
0:04his abilities. David secretly loves a
0:06girl named Willie, but hesitates to
0:08express his feelings. To show his
0:09affection indirectly, he gives her a
0:11globe containing a miniature Eiffel
0:13Tower, which Willie loves. However,
0:15Mark, who envies David, tries to trouble
0:17them. In a fit of anger, Mark throws the
0:19globe far into a snowy region.
0:21Determined to retrieve it, David heads
0:23to the dangerous spot despite Willie's
0:25attempts to stop him. The area is unsafe
0:27as there is water beneath the snow.
0:29David finds the globe, but falls into
0:30the freezing water when the ice breaks.
0:32Willie screams for help, believing David
0:34has drowned. Suddenly, David unknowingly
0:36teleports to a public library in the
0:38city, escaping death. Late at night,
0:40David returns home, but his father,
0:42angry at his absence, tries to confront
0:44him in his room. Before his father can
0:46reach him, David teleports again, this
0:48time back to the library, leaving his
0:50father bewildered.
