2:50now let's have a go at forming and using

2:53comparatives and superlatives

2:55we'll use the adjective happy to start

3:47the litter

3:52as a general rule we always use er and

3:56est with one syllable adjectives

4:00we usually use more and most with two

4:03syllable adjectives

4:05unless the adjective ends in y

4:10and we always use more and most with

4:13adjectives with three or more syllables

4:20is a comparative or a superlative needed

4:24complete each sentence using the given

4:26adjective

4:27add van or the as needed

4:30pause here while you work
