0:00This is possibly the most important

0:01lesson I've ever made on this channel.

0:04I'm going to teach you how to become

0:06egotistical whilst also remaining

0:08completely self-aware because most

0:10people fall into one of three categories

0:12when it comes to their ego. A lot of

0:14people are far too humble to ever

0:16succeed. They believe in being liked

0:18more than they believe in what's inside

0:20their soul and what they truly want to

0:22become. They believe more in the

0:24approval of others. The problem is, in

0:25order to ever become truly great, to

0:28become the most that you can be, you

0:31must break the rules, you must risk

0:33being hated. To ever be truly loved, I'm

0:36going to teach you exactly how to do

0:37that. You see, people fall into one of

0:38three categories. No ego at all. Very,

0:41very humble. This is your common man,

0:44holier than thou. Inside him, he knows

0:47he has something, but he feels a little

0:50bit too scared to ever go for it. kind

0:52of like going for it is wrong, right?

0:54Like going for it makes other people

0:56feel smaller around him. Like going for

0:58it would upset the people that he

1:01admires or likes. And so he remains

1:03small. But the problem with this person,

1:06the humble person, is usually that

1:09inside of them they wanted something

1:11more, but they didn't go for it. And it

1:13creates the worst type of person because

1:15then they become angry because then they

1:18see greatness in other people and they

1:19can't appreciate it and they can't love

1:21it. And anyone who's had success knows

1:24that you must first appreciate other

1:26people's success. You must first see the

1:29good in other people. You must first see

1:31the righteousness in greatness in order

1:33to achieve it. Because your mind won't

1:35let you achieve things that you

1:37internally hate. And this person gets

1:39filled with jealousy.

1:42The humble man. I'm fine doing this.

1:45This is fine for my life. I'm going to

1:47live the normal path. and they've come

1:50up with all these reasons why that was

1:52correct for them, but internally they

1:54hate other people. There's an inner

1:57turmoil. Occasionally there's not. Some

1:59people are just chill. I'm doing my

2:01thing. Fantastic. But don't trick

2:04yourself, right? Cuz the majority of

2:06people want to pretend that they're that

2:08person. But if we could actually see

2:10inside, we know that they want more.

2:13that pang of jealousy when they see the

2:15money or the Ferrari or the car or the

2:16person with the girl and they have to

2:18tear it down. They know that comes from

2:20somewhere. Then there is the man that is

2:22all ego. I've kind of skirted the line

2:24between being all ego. I've I've never

2:26been all humble as you can probably

2:28notice just looking at me. I I kind of

2:32give the impression of from my outer

2:36persona. Arrogant prick straight off the

2:40bat. That's fine with me cuz I know

2:42fundamentally I'm actually not. But I

2:44don't need you to believe me. But there

2:47is the man that's all ego. I have been

2:49that at times where you just drink your

2:53own Kool-Aid. You believe so much so

2:56egotistically in your own vision that

2:59you are not humble in your execution.

3:01This is where a lot of men that are kind

3:04of dreamers get caught because the thing

3:07about dreams is that they're wonderful

3:09in your mind and in reality they're much

3:12harder. So, it's very easy to also be

3:14all ego and say, "Well, one day I'm

3:15going to be great, but I need these

3:17circumstances and to do this thing and

3:20I'm kind of not willing to eat [ __ ] I'm

3:22I'm not willing to do this kind of hard

3:24work or eat [ __ ] in the middle because

3:26I'm bigger and better than that." That's

3:28a really dangerous place to be as well

3:31because that is like if you say you're

3:33going to be a millionaire businessman

3:35well a lot of the time like for me for

3:38example I had to start with a 9 to5 in

3:40sales that I really didn't like doing

3:42cold calls and then I saved that money

3:44and then I had to leave the security of

3:45that money I moved on a one-way ticket

3:48alone to Thailand to forge myself

3:52solo with no income coming in or very

3:56little income coming in on my savings. I

3:59had to take this risk and leave the ego

4:01of having a good job or making some

4:04money in order to forge something

4:06greater than myself and to have an

4:08element of risk, but also be humble in

4:10the fact that when I first make videos,

4:12they're going to be [ __ ] People are

4:13going to make fun of me, but I'm willing

4:15to do that work because my internal

4:18guidance, my internal ego is what I'm

4:21listening to. I'm not listening to an

4:23ego about what people think about me.

4:26I'm listening to what's inside of me,

4:28which is very important. And the one

4:30that we want to achieve is that you are

4:33entirely egotistical in your vision and

4:36your dream for the future, but you're

4:39also incredibly self-aware and you are

4:42humble in your execution, willing to eat

4:44[ __ ] knowing that your internal

4:47compass, internally your personality,

4:50internally your essence is greatness.

4:55Therefore, the opinions of others

4:57doesn't matter. What you have to do to

4:59get there doesn't particularly matter.

5:01And you are willing to be a beginner.

5:03You're willing to learn. You're willing

5:05to step down a step in order to rise up

5:09is what we want to build inside of

5:12ourselves. And inside of all of this,

5:15you must understand that in order to

5:17become the greatest you can possibly be,

5:19you will skirt the line between hero and

5:22villain on a tight rope. are kind of one

5:25or the same because in every ounce of

5:28greatness there is some darkness. In the

5:30darkest of dark there is some greatness.

5:32And the ying and yang philosophy is

5:35combining that. How we must combine

5:37that. And that's exactly what we're

5:38doing here to bring the kind of humble

5:41side together but also at the same time

5:43the egotistical the villain. Look at any

5:46hero you look at Spider-Man. I know

5:48these are just typical um superheroes

5:52but it relates to real life. It really

5:54does. Look at Spider-Man. Look at

5:55Superman. Look at Batman. In a way, the

5:59world can sometimes paint them as

6:00villains. They have to be vigilantes.

6:03Even though they're doing what is right,

6:05they're very close on the line between

6:07love and hate. And you have to be

6:10willing to become the greatest version

6:11of you. You really have to be willing to

6:13risk being hated. And for that to not

6:15bother you, for you to not need that.

6:18It's only once you let go of who you

6:20are, you can become who you might be.

6:23This is kind of what I did when I moved

6:25to Thailand, and I've done it many times

6:27since. You have to base your ego not off

6:30of what you have, what you earn, who you

6:35are on an internal level, and the

6:38discipline you keep with yourself, the

6:41way you look after yourself, and the way

6:43you commit to what you say. That is

6:44where an ego must be truly born through

6:47the solving of problems for yourself

6:49without the opinions of others. I could

6:52have all the [ __ ] in the world, right? I

6:54could have the best cars, best houses,

6:56but I could fundamentally be a piece of

6:58[ __ ] if I don't keep that word to

7:01myself. And at the same time, you could

7:03be the greatest man on earth with no

7:05belongings and have that innate

7:07confidence in yourself. You do not need

7:09things. And your ego should not be based

7:11on things. should be based on who you

7:12are, the problems you can solve, and

7:14your belief in yourself and your vision

7:16and what you do and what you believe is

7:18right. That's where the ego should come

7:21from. You have to let go of a lot of

7:23that stuff on the outside. Your job

7:24right now, you might be making 10K a

7:26month at a job that you hate, but you

7:28like the fact that you're in the

7:30corporate world and you have some status

7:31and you make this money. You must burn

7:34that in order to become the man you want

7:36to be. If that's a multi-millionaire or

7:38a creative endeavor or your own

7:39business, you must be willing to destroy

7:42that. That's the trade-off.

7:45In order to become great, you must let

7:47go of everything you feel you have

7:48become so far. Number two, let me help

7:52you reverse analyze some of this stuff

7:54on why it can feel difficult to believe

7:57in yourself. The praise reward trap.

7:59From a very young age, for most people,

8:01you have been raised to believe that if

8:04you do what other people say, then you

8:06get love. Words of affirmation built up,

8:11right? Your parents say you follow the

8:13rules, you do this, do your homework on

8:15time, do this. Nothing wrong with this

8:18style of parenting, right? It's normal.

8:21For a young mind, it shapes you because

8:24you think that breaking the rules leads

8:27to hate or not being loved. You break

8:30the rules with your parents and they

8:33take away their kindness or their love

8:35and you follow the rules and they give

8:36you kindness and the love and the

8:38belief. So you start to base your

8:39feelings of selfworth on the opinions of

8:42somebody else. This then happens through

8:44school for by design. This happens

8:46through school. You follow the rules in

8:48school. You do things on time. You don't

8:49question the book and you are filled

8:51with ego. You become higher status in

8:55that school in that model. You break the

8:59rules or you disagree with the rules and

9:00you become lower status and any ego from

9:03other people is taken away. So

9:04inherently inside of you from a very

9:06young age your ego becomes tied to what

9:08other people think of you rather than

9:11what you think of yourself. And that is

9:14what we must change. Because in order to

9:17become something extraordinary, you must

9:20break the common rules. I don't mean

9:22breaking the law. I don't mean being

9:24horrible to other people. I just very

9:26simply mean not following the common

9:28trap. The entire system that most people

9:31are born into is designed to make a

9:33worker that follows rules. An

9:36entrepreneur or somebody who builds

9:37greatness in their life cannot follow

9:39that same model. So you must be

9:42comfortable with having this bulletproof

9:44ego inside of yourself that believes I

9:47can do anything and I do not need the

9:48approval of others. But at the same

9:50time, and this is very important, you

9:53must become radically self-aware. You

9:55must understand why you are doing

9:56things. You must understand how it

9:59impacts other people. You must have an

10:01implicit understanding of your driving

10:03forces inside of yourself. Otherwise,

10:06you become the villain. You have to be

10:09radically self-aware. You have to notice

10:11tendencies in your personality and you

10:14also have to be radically self-aware

10:16about other people. I find it very

10:18difficult to dislike anybody or to blame

10:22anybody. And I think that's a good thing

10:25and you can have it too. You can't

10:26dislike anybody when you understand

10:28yourself or when you understand other

10:30people because you understand people's

10:33motives and why they do things and

10:34usually it's just because they're less

10:35self-developed than you. For example, if

10:38somebody's if somebody helps you, right?

10:41Let's imagine this. This is very common.

10:44Your boss helps you become very good at

10:46your job. And after two years working

10:47for that guy, making him a load of

10:49money, you decide, well, I've become

10:50very good at this now. I'm going to go

10:51out and do it on my own. A radically

10:53self-aware man and somebody who is

10:56incredibly enlightened and probably a

10:58hero, the boss would encourage that

11:01because he knows that your continued

11:04greatness feeds him. That that's the

11:07greatest thing you can do is inspire and

11:10grow somebody else, change somebody's

11:12life. People don't understand how

11:14fundamentally changing that is to a

11:16person and how much respect, honor, and

11:19love they have for you when you allow

11:21them to go that way. But the egotistical

11:23man, the egotistical boss without

11:25self-awareness believes he is the

11:27greatest thing on earth. He has made

11:28you. He believes he has made you. So

11:31when you start to go and do your own

11:33thing, he then hates you. He believes

11:35you are taking from him. But that's not

11:37how it is. He has grown and watered a

11:40seed.

11:42It doesn't mean that he made the tree.

11:46Okay?

11:47He has grown and watered that seed and

11:49it has become great and it wants to be

11:51something bigger. And the man who is

11:53self-aware can understand that this is a

11:56great thing that I've done to push that

11:58person on. The egotistical man without

12:00self-awareness, he will then try and

12:02destroy that. He tries to hate you. He

12:04goes, "No, you can't become that. You

12:06are [ __ ] me over. I made you. I built

12:08you. I gave you all of this and now

12:10you're taking it away from me.

12:12Can't think that way." And when you

12:15become self-aware of why as humans we do

12:17these things because inside why would

12:20the boss do that because inside he feels

12:21insecure because inside he requires

12:24other people's praise and attention in

12:26order to feel powerful. So as soon as he

12:29starts to let something go that was

12:30giving his outsized results from the

12:32outside. As soon as that's taken away

12:33his ego is damaged. The ego cannot be

12:36that fragile. It cannot be tied to

12:37things like that because then you start

12:39making bad choices start making bad

12:41decisions. You start treating people

12:42wrong. It all comes from an element of

12:44fear. Fear must be destroyed early on.

12:47Fear is destroyed by relying solely on

12:49yourself.

12:50Feeling love for yourself. Feeling love

12:53internally for who you are, not for your

12:56results on the outside and certainly not

12:58for what other people think of you. And

12:59that leads us onto the destruction of

13:01hate. You destroy your own vision with

13:03hate. Your vision is immune to doubt if

13:06you don't give doubt power.

13:10You must let go of hate and operate from

13:12a place of love. You cannot let what

13:13other people say about your vision

13:15affect your vision. If other people's

13:18hate can affect you, it will destroy

13:22your vision. But your vision is immune

13:24to hate and it's immune to doubt if only

13:26you do not doubt it yourself. And this

13:29all comes from that self-awareness. If

13:31you have a fantastic vision for your

13:32life, why would somebody try and tear

13:35that down? We can ask ourselves that

13:37question. So you have this great vision

13:38for your life. You tell it to your mom

13:41or your dad, right? I'm going to become

13:42this this great thing and they go oh

13:45that that won't work don't do that

13:47that's a terrible idea and and a lot of

13:49people will give

13:52weight importance to that opinion to

13:55that decision of their parents and they

13:57let it deter them from their path but if

14:00you actually think about it they are not

14:02doing that to tear you down they just

14:04don't understand that's all it is and as

14:07soon as you view people's hate or

14:09people's doubt in you as a

14:12non-understanding rather than an attack,

14:14it loses all its power. Your mother will

14:17not want you to become the greatest

14:18thing you can become. She wants you to

14:20become the safest thing you can become

14:22because inherently she loves you. She

14:24doesn't want to see your hopes

14:26diminished. She doesn't want to see you

14:28mentally or physically hurt in the

14:30things that you do. If we understand

14:33ourselves, we understand people. We can

14:35see that in our mother. And you can say

14:37to her when she doesn't believe your

14:39vision, she doesn't want you to do it.

14:42She doesn't believe in you. You say,

14:44"Don't worry, man. It's okay. It's what

14:46I've got to do." But I I understand

14:48where you're coming from. You become

14:50very powerful in that place. Whereas a

14:53lot of people then take that hate. My

14:55mom doesn't [ __ ] even believe in me.

14:57Why does my mom believe in me? No, it's

15:00not. It's nothing to do with that.

15:02That's just how some people are. People

15:04don't mean to tear down your vision. A

15:06lot of people will tear down vision

15:07simply because the vision is bigger than

15:10anything they could ever imagine because

15:12they're stuck in a cycle of fear, a

15:15bubble of fear and hate for themselves

15:18because they had a vision once,

15:20something that they wanted to go for.

15:22They decided to be humble and they

15:24didn't have an ego. They didn't go after

15:26what they wanted and they feel it's

15:28unfair that other people can. You must

15:31understand that this is how the game

15:33works. that you must have an in innate

15:36belief in your own vision and you must

15:37prove it to yourself on a daily basis

15:39with small disciplined action and that

15:41what other people say to you is of

15:45little consequence on your vision and

15:48that it can be treated with kindness

15:49that that all people can be when you

15:52understand someone and you understand

15:53yourself and another area just a final

15:56bonus tip this is something that I

15:59struggle with is uh taking advice so I

16:01become quite egotistical quite high in

16:04my belief in my own vision. Especially

16:06when you've kind of built something for

16:08yourself. You this will stop you from

16:10learning. I have to battle this. If

16:13you're somebody that hasn't achieved

16:15what you want to achieve gives you

16:16advice, you're probably right to take

16:19your own advice instead if you've

16:20achieved more. If somebody has achieved

16:23far more than you in the area that you

16:25want to achieve something,

16:27it does you a lot of good to forget your

16:30ego to become a student again and listen

16:33to that person if they have better

16:35results and the life that you desire. I

16:37have to watch out for this one. I can

16:40sometimes think that my idea is the

16:42greatest. Occasionally it is. Other

16:45times I would be much better listening

16:46to the advice of those above me. So I

16:48work on that and and I see this a lot.

16:50We obviously run

16:52very high level entrepreneurs network

16:53new elite and we teach how to build

16:57freedom in your life through personal

16:58brand and we often see sometimes when

17:01guys come through that they have such a

17:03big ego that they will not follow my

17:04advice even though they have not built

17:06anything yet and they might not they

17:08might do their own thing for six months

17:10and then they come back and they say

17:11okay I've eaten [ __ ] now I saw my idea

17:13wasn't great what's your path Jack and

17:16they finally listen and they get the

17:17result happens to me happens to our

17:20students

17:21somebody's done more than you and they

17:22live the life you want to live, it makes

17:25sense to heed their advice. But there

17:27you go. Personally, I think that's one

17:29of the most important videos could

17:31possibly make on this channel. You're

17:32probably too humble to succeed or too

17:34egotisticalistical to succeed. You must

17:37find yourself somewhere in the middle

17:38between the ying, yin, and the yang. See

17:42you on the next one.
