0:00I find your approach to studying ,

0:01Morashi-sensei , the most human and

0:03reassuring . When I see other lawyers or

0:05teachers talking about studying on

0:07YouTube , they only ever suggest

0:08impossible things like studying 18

0:10hours a day , which feels fake and based

0:11on pure grit . Just as you suggested ,

0:13I’m using a stopwatch to track my

0:14actual study time and writing down my

0:15progress at home to visualize it . By

0:16studying for 30 minutes and taking a 30

0:18- minute break , I’ve been able to stay

0:19focused on my work . Thank you very much

0:21. Oh , thank you . You’re absolutely

0:23right that you have to put in the

0:24effort . However , the problem is that

0:27people use " grit " as if it’s a sprint

0:30rather than a marathon . Studying 18

0:33hours a day is exactly that — a sprint

0:35— and sure , you can pull it off for a

0:38day or two . I think people might have

0:41picked up that habit cramming for exams

0:43back when they were students .

0:46Personally , I never really pushed

0:48myself to study that hard for exams

0:50back then . I didn't really care about

0:52the exams , you see . Everyone got into

0:54the habit of thinking that " studying

0:56hard " means doing a massive amount of

0:58work all at once . I’ve talked before

1:00about how to handle slacking off for

1:02three days ; if you have 100 days left ,

1:04missing three days is only 3 % , right ?

1:06It’s the same principle — going

1:08all-out for three days when you have

1:10100 days left only accounts for 3 % . If

1:12you could actually keep up 18 hours a

1:14day for 100 days , that would be great ,

1:16but it’s simply impossible . There

1:19might be times when you need to push

1:21for 18 hours , but a strong

1:23long-distance runner saves their energy

1:25; they might have a final sprint , but

1:27they don't waste stamina along the way .

1:29Studying 18 hours a day is exactly that

1:31— a waste — and I don't think you

1:33should be doing that . What’s most

1:35important is to do it every single day

1:37for 100 days and compete based on the

1:40total volume . Yes . Please keep that

1:42image in mind as you go .
