0:13and Southeast Asia
0:15it is the only wild dog species native
0:18to India and is known for its striking
0:21coat of reddish brown fur with white
0:23patches on its chest belly and feet
0:27dolls are pack animals and are known for
0:30their strong social bonds
0:32they live in packs of 5 to 12
0:35individuals although larger packs of up
0:38to 40 individuals have been observed in
0:41some areas
0:42the pack is led by an alpha male and
0:45alpha female who are the breeding pair
0:48and are responsible for leading the pack
0:50in hunting and defending their territory
0:54the Dole is a highly efficient Predator
0:57with a unique hunting technique
0:59doll packs are highly Cooperative

1:07impossible for a single individual to

1:11when hunting dolls will spread out over
1:13a large area using their Keen sense of
1:16smell and hearing to locate prey once a

1:26vocalizations and body postures to
1:28coordinate their movements those are
1:32highly adaptable hunters and will use a
1:35variety of techniques depending on the
1:37type of prey they are hunting for
1:40smaller prey such as birds and rodents
1:43Doles will typically pounce on their
1:45target and kill it with a single bite
1:49for larger prey such as deer or wild

1:55down prey using a variety of hunting

2:57whistles barks and howls to Signal their
3:01position and coordinate their movements
