0:00You're not waiting for your life to

0:02change to feel worthy. You're actually

0:04changing your life by becoming worthy.

0:06You're generating abundance. You're

0:08generating love. You're creating an

0:10elevated emotion.

0:17If someone's having a negative

0:20repetitive thought specifically around

0:23self-worth, what they believe they

0:25deserve in love, where do they start

0:28with that thought? Well, we think

0:30primarily uh 90% of the time we think

0:33the same thoughts as we thought the day

0:35before. The challenge with that is the

0:37thought that you keep thinking over and

0:39over again becomes a belief. And nerve

0:42cells that fire together wire together.

0:43So the more nerve cells fire, the more

0:46they develop long-term relationships and

0:48the more hardwired they become. The more

0:50hardwired they become, the more

0:52automatic they are. The more automatic

0:53they are, the more unconscious they

0:55become. So the process of change really

0:58requires becoming conscious of your

1:00unconscious thoughts. Which means just

1:02because you have that thought doesn't

1:04necessarily mean it's the truth. If you

1:07have that thought and you accept it, you

1:09believe it, you surrender to it without

1:11analyzing it, that thought will lead to

1:13the same choice which will lead to the

1:15same behavior which will create the same

1:16experience which then will produce the

1:18same emotion. The same emotions then

1:20drive our very same thoughts in time.

1:23our biology, our neurosircuitry, our

1:25neurochemistry, our hormones, and even

1:26our gene expression stays the same

1:28because we're the same. So, in the

1:30process of change, when you come up

1:32against that unconscious belief and you

1:34make it conscious, most people get

1:36uncomfortable uh when they confront that

1:39thought and they're stopping an

1:41automatic process. And the body which

1:44has been conditioned to be the mind

1:45because it's doing something over and

1:47over again. That's a habit is craving

1:49the experience because it wants the

1:51emotion associated with it. Right? So

1:54the thought of being unworthy produces

1:57the feeling of being unworthy. That

2:00feeling then when the person feels

2:01unworthy tends to cause the person to

2:04think more unworthy thoughts. It only

2:06takes a thought and a feeling, an image

2:09of yourself and an emotion, a stimulus

2:12and response and you can condition the

2:15body to memorize that behavior and that

2:17emotional state better than the

2:18conscious mind. So the moment we inhibit

2:21that thought or the moment we become

2:23conscious of it, we no longer accept it,

2:25there's a biological craving that takes

2:28place in the body because the body has

2:31been conditioned to be the mind. So the

2:33body starts influencing the mind to

2:35think more corresponding thoughts equal

2:37to that feeling. So here comes the

2:39assault. Then you're not only unworthy,

2:42you're you're everything else that goes

2:43along with that feeling. And this is

2:46where uh people have to make up their

2:48mind if they truly want to change.

2:50Because if you decide to confront that

2:53thought and make a different choice, get

2:54ready because you're going to feel

2:56uncomfortable. It's going to feel

2:58unfamiliar and it's there's going to be

3:00some uncertainty cuz you're stepping out

3:02of familiar territory. You're stepping

3:05out of the known and you're stepping

3:06into the unknown. So, if you said,

3:08"Okay, I'm going to sit down for a few

3:10minutes. I'm going become so conscious

3:11of my unconscious self, my unconscious

3:14personality that the victory today would

3:17not be going unconscious to those

3:18thoughts, behaviors, and emotions."

3:20Okay, let me get so familiar with them

3:23that I don't go unconscious. Okay, I got

3:24that down. I don't know what what

3:27thoughts do I want to fire and wire in

3:29my brain. And if a belief is a thought

3:31that you keep thinking over and over

3:33again with intention

3:35and with attention, you'll switch on

3:37that prefrontal cortex and assign

3:39meaning to the act and start installing

3:42new circuits in your brain. If you keep

3:44doing it over and over again, it becomes

3:46more hardwired. It becomes more

3:48automatic. And now you're installing a

3:50new belief that you are worthy of love.

3:52You are worthy of abundance. You are

3:54worthy to heal. Whatever that is, that's

3:56the thought you do want to believe in.

3:58And when it matters the most is when

4:00it's the hardest

4:01>> because if you don't have the circuitry

4:03in place, you'll default back to the old

4:05programs. Right? So then if you said,

4:08"How am I going to be in my Zoom calls

4:12today? How am I going to be in traffic

4:14today? How am I going to be with my ex,

4:16my co-workers?"

4:18uh and you started thinking about and

4:21rehearsing

4:23how you were going to act in certain

4:25situations, the brain actually doesn't

4:27know the difference between the real

4:28life experience and what you're

4:30imagining. The research on mental

4:32rehearsal shows that the brain will look

4:34like in time that it's already had the

4:36experience and it's vacant of the

4:37experience. Now, keep firing and wiring

4:39those circuits and you're going to begin

4:41to behave that way. M.

4:42>> So now you're installing circuitry now

4:45to use in your life to get your

4:47behaviors to match your intentions. If

4:49you said, "How would it feel to feel

4:52worthy of love? How would it feel to be

4:54grateful for life? How would it feel to

4:56be worthy of abundance?" And you said,

4:58"I'm going to teach my body emotionally

5:02what this feels like before the

5:05manifestation of the event." And when

5:07you feel the emotions of your future,

5:09something amazing happens. you're no

5:12longer in lack or separation. So, you're

5:14no longer looking for the event to take

5:16away that feeling of lack or separation.

5:18Your body's actually believing it's in

5:20the event.

5:21>> And so, then you're not looking for it.

5:24You feel like it's already happened. Get

5:25ready because that's when your life

5:27begins to change. And so we've

5:30discovered that if you're actually

5:32practicing this and you immersed

5:35yourself in that experience fully for

5:37seven days, the amount of metabolic and

5:41biological changes that will take place

5:43in your body will be so significant that

5:46your body will actually believe it's

5:47living in that future. And yet most of

5:50the people that come to our workshops

5:51are literally in a ballroom. There's

5:53nothing really exciting happening in the

5:55environment, but their body's believing

5:57they're living in a whole new life. Life

5:58is an experiment. So if your personality

6:01creates your personal reality and your

6:04personality is made up of how you think,

6:06how you act, and how you feel, if you

6:08keep thinking the same way, you keep

6:10acting the same way, you keep feeling

6:11the same way, your life is going to stay

6:14the same because you're the same. So the

6:16experiment is, okay, let me begin to

6:18think differently. So I got to remind

6:20myself how I do want to think, and I

6:22have to remind myself of how I no longer

6:23want to think so I don't default and go

6:25unconscious. Let me remind myself how

6:27I'm going to behave so that I could

6:29actually get my behaviors to match my

6:31intentions. And let me remind myself of

6:33how I'm going to feel. If I'm able to

6:34succeed in that day, then there should

6:37be some change in my life. That it's the

6:38experiment and and and if it doesn't

6:41change, that doesn't mean the law

6:42doesn't work for you. It's just you're

6:44not that good yet. It just you just got

6:46to keep practicing, right? So the act of

6:49disconnecting from your life long enough

6:50to remind yourself of who you do want to

6:52be and who you no longer want to be.

6:54That experiment then is the experiment

6:56called life. Now it's not that you

6:59react. The question is how long are you

7:02going to react? That's the real

7:03question. Cuz I mean I react all the

7:05time. Everybody does. But if you're

7:08going to stay there and you're going to

7:10live in that emotional state, you will

7:12see life through that lens of that

7:14emotion. Right? So now it gets

7:17complicated because the stronger the

7:19emotion you feel towards certain people

7:21or problems in your life, the more you

7:24pay attention to them and where you

7:26place your attention is where you place

7:28your energy. So from a purely biological

7:31as well as quantum state, we could say

7:33then you're using that person or that

7:37circumstance to reaffirm your dependence

7:40on feeling that emotion. So you have to

7:43hate your enemy. And if your enemy dies,

7:45you'll find another person to hate

7:46because that is that is the response,

7:49right? So the body is is the animal.

7:52It's been conditioned a certain way. And

7:54it's and if it's been doing something

7:56and feeling something for an extended

7:58period of time, there's a modification

8:00of its receptor sites. It's it's needing

8:02those emotional states. So in the

8:05process of change,

8:08just be ready because you're going to

8:09feel uncomfortable a lot of the time.

8:11Now the question is, do you want to stay

8:14there? So then most people think they

8:17they don't have any control over their

8:19emotional state. They think, I'm just

8:20this way and I feel this way. Well, we

8:22we actually can show people that that's

8:25not the truth. That when it's the

8:27hardest, it matters the most. And if

8:29you're able to really work and train

8:32your body like you're training an animal

8:36to stop feeling one way and start

8:38feeling another way. So, the research

8:40that we've done over and over again is

8:42that the the only way you're actually

8:45going to reprogram your brain to work in

8:48your favor is you got to learn how to

8:51regulate your brain waves. In order for

8:52us to begin to change those programs, we

8:56got to get into the operating system.

8:58And the only way we do that is we got to

9:00slow our brain waves down in that

9:02thinking neoortex. The challenge for

9:05most people is they have so many demands

9:08in their life. They have so many

9:12emotional responses to circumstances in

9:15their life that they're living in a

9:18state of stress and living in a state of

9:19survival. In a state of stress and

9:20survival, you don't close your eyes. You

9:22got to keep your eye on the ball. You

9:23you got to keep your attention on the

9:25outer environment. So, uh their brains

9:27tend to work in a higher brain wave

9:29pattern, a mid-range or high level beta

9:32brain wave pattern. That's like driving

9:34your sports car in first gear. It's it's

9:36a lot of energy for the brain. So, and

9:40uh when the brain starts to relax and it

9:42moves into less of that chatter that

9:45takes place in your brain and more of

9:47kind of an imaginary state, the brain

9:49sees in pictures and images, it's more

9:51creative. We're moving into that alpha

9:53state. So now the door between the

9:54conscious mind and the subconscious mind

9:57opens up as we get beyond our analytical

9:59mind. And our analytical mind is

10:01actually what separates the conscious

10:03mind from the subconscious mind. So as

10:04you slow your brain waves down, you get

10:06into alpha. You're entering the

10:08operating system. And that's where you

10:10can rewrite a new program. That's where

10:12you can rehearse a new script. That's

10:14where you can begin to plan your

10:17behaviors in a in a in an intentional

10:19way. If you if you can't change your

10:21brain waves, then it's like your

10:24computer running a muk with all of those

10:27programs and you yelling at it, telling

10:28it to stop. you're not in the operating

10:30system. Some people can get to the point

10:33where they're so relaxed

10:36that the body's in a light sleep and yet

10:39they're conscious and awake and now

10:40they're in this theta brain wave

10:42pattern. And in theta, that's a hypnotic

10:44state. We're very suggestible to our

10:46thoughts.

10:47>> We're very suggestible to information in

10:49that state. And that state then is where

10:53we see the most change take place. And

10:55so the person can literally change from

10:57the inside out when they learn how to

10:59get into the operating system. I can

11:01tell you that if you are willing to see

11:04that thought is just a thought in your

11:06brain and you're curious what's on the

11:08other side of that thought, yeah, you're

11:11going to feel uncomfortable. But if you

11:13had some tools and skills to apply and

11:17you were able to take your attention off

11:19your cell phone and settle your body

11:21back down into the present moment, that

11:23would be a victory. And then your body

11:25would say, "Come on, you got to feel a

11:27little frustration now. You got to be

11:29impatient. You got to be judgmental.

11:31Come on. That's how what you always

11:32think. That's how you always feel." And

11:34you, like an animal,

11:36you settle the body back down into the

11:39present moment. And you tell it it's no

11:41longer the mind, that you're the mind.

11:43That's a victory. Then the body says,

11:45"Hey dude, you're super busy. You got a

11:48lot of things to do. You got a lot of

11:50people to see. You got a lot of places

11:51to go. You got a lot of things to do.

11:53and you've been doing the same thing

11:54every day, your body's going to want to

11:56get up and do something, you're going to

11:59want to quit cuz your brain's telling

12:02you that you can't do this. If you had

12:04the awareness to settle the body back

12:08down into the present moment, you would

12:10be executing a will that's greater than

12:13the program because most people lose

12:14their free will

12:16>> to those programs. And it's that tedium

12:19in the beginning that is an

12:20uncompromising will where you keep

12:23training the animal to stay to take all

12:27of its attention off the environment to

12:30get beyond all the cravings, the

12:32feelings, the habits of the body, the

12:35drives of the body, and catch yourself

12:38defaulting to that predictable future.

12:40bringing your body back into the present

12:42moment, siphoning energy back, your

12:44attention into the past based on those

12:46familiar emotions of the past. We've

12:48discovered that if you're willing to do

12:49that for just a few days, you could

12:53actually liberate an enormous amount of

12:55energy from your body. You go from

12:57particle to wave, from matter to energy,

13:01and you're literally transmuting those

13:03limited emotions into elevated emotions.

13:06and something really beautiful happens

13:08if you're willing to fire the crucible

13:11and sit through that long enough. All of

13:14these emotions move, that energy moves

13:17right up into the heart and the person

13:20starts falling in love with life. They

13:22start feeling this state of gratitude,

13:26this gratefulness to be alive, this

13:29ineffitable word of relaxed and awake.

13:34And something really magical happens

13:36when we've discovered uh this little

13:39simple thing. When that energy makes it

13:41to the heart, there's only one place it

13:44wants to go and it goes straight to the

13:47brain. So the person starts relaxing

13:50into their heart when they feel this

13:52feeling. And the more they relax into

13:54the heart, the more their brain all of a

13:56sudden starts becoming aroused and they

14:00start going into these elevated gamma

14:03brain wave patterns. Now gamma is not

14:06unconscious. Gamma is actually super

14:08conscious. It's actually super aware.

14:10You're outside the program now. So when

14:14that occurs and the brain goes into

14:16gamma brain wave patterns, what we

14:18discovered is not it's not a little

14:19gamma.

14:21It's not a lot of gamma. It's not a

14:24whole lot of gamma. It's a supernatural

14:26amount of gamma. Here's the beauty. We

14:29we could see people do this in 15

14:31minutes. The most important takeaway

14:34around all of this is that feeling that

14:36they're feeling is not coming from

14:39anywhere outside of them. No person's

14:41doing that. No wardrobe change is doing

14:45that. No sports car, no football game,

14:48nothing is doing it to them. it's

14:50actually coming from within. That is the

14:52moment they stop looking for it outside

14:55of them and the love affair begins. And

14:57so when we start feeling these elevated

15:00emotions, these more selfless emotions,

15:03it's not like you have to try to

15:05forgive. It actually is the side effect

15:09of you changing your emotional state.

15:11You no longer want uh because you feel

15:15so whole. How could you want anything?

15:18So we've discovered relaxed in the heart

15:21and awaken the brain. And that process

15:23of transformation is your willingness to

15:25sit past that thought, past that

15:28emotion, and keep training the animal

15:30and sooner or later you can re

15:31recondition it to a new mind. We've done

15:33the largest studies on meditation than

15:35have ever been done just because we have

15:37a community of 1,800 people that come to

15:40an event that are going to be getting up

15:42at the same time, doing the same thing,

15:44uh, pretty much eating, making the same

15:46food choices in pretty much a big

15:49laboratory, right? One of the cool

15:52things that we've discovered is that we

15:53have so much compelling data to suggest

15:57that you're greater than you think,

15:59>> more powerful than you know, more

16:01unlimited than you could ever dream. We

16:02have compelling data that suggests that

16:05your nervous system is the greatest

16:07pharmacist in the world. That it makes

16:10drugs that work better than any drug in

16:13a drugstore. A drug study is about 18 to

16:1625% cause and effect causality. Our data

16:20is between 75 and 85% cause and effect.

16:24This is a person creating their own

16:26pharmacy of anti-inflammatories, their

16:29own pharmacy of anti-carcinogenic

16:31chemicals, their own pharmacy of uh pain

16:34relievers. We're seeing this over and

16:36over again. So, we have this incredible

16:38data that says that this is no longer

16:40pseudocience. This is the real this is

16:43really science. The side effect of a

16:45person's transformation

16:48is has changed my belief in what's

16:51possible. I have seen people stand on

16:53the stage with stage 4 cancers that were

16:56in every single organ in their body that

16:58metastasized and and they have no sign

17:02of cancer in their body. And we have

17:04data that suggests that you put the

17:06blood of an advanced meditator and a

17:08uterine cancer cell, a pancreatic cancer

17:10cell,

17:1270% of the mitochondrial function in the

17:14cancer cell is diminished. And the

17:15mitochondria is the energy packets of

17:17the cell. It's taking energy out of the

17:19cancer cell. It's perfect with what

17:21we're seeing with uh uh the testimonials

17:24uh that that people are telling around

17:26the world. We've seen we had someone

17:28with bilateral breast cancer just

17:31recently. Uh no evidence of cancer in

17:33her breasts or any lymph nodes, no

17:35longer in her liver. I'm looking out at

17:38the audience and everybody's leaning in.

17:43There's the 4-minute mile and that

17:45person's telling the truth and they're

17:46they're telling a story and it's not

17:48pretty. It's not always uh rosy. They

17:50they went through a lot of dark nights.

17:52They went through a lot of their

17:53condition getting worse. But every day

17:56they had to show up for themselves. If

17:58they stopped showing up and doing the

18:01work, they would really not believe it

18:03was possible. But if they showed up and

18:05did the work, it means that they believe

18:07it's possible. And I think when you

18:10believe in possibility, you got to

18:11believe in yourself.

18:12>> Mhm.

18:13>> When you believe in yourself, you got to

18:14believe in possibilities. like you're

18:15saying like I'm going to be 30 minutes

18:17late for a job interview or I just had

18:20an argument with my partner this morning

18:22and I've got a big presentation this

18:24morning as well at work now I'm stressed

18:27about it because I'm thinking about that

18:29or my kid just had got yeah I had to

18:31rush him to hospital and now I'm late

18:33like I guess when you're looking at it

18:34from a very human point of view it's

18:36really hard to understand the value in

18:38this what do you say to anyone who's

18:40thinking and feeling that way?

18:41>> Uh no I think it's I think it's a

18:43reasonable conversation. I mean um uh

18:45sometimes we have to be super aroused

18:49and sometimes we really have to pay

18:50attention and sometimes there are

18:52threats and dangers where that primitive

18:54nervous system actually works in our

18:56favor and and that's the emergency

18:57system. But you got to also realize that

19:00you only have a certain amount of

19:01energy.

19:02>> And if you're living in emergency mode

19:03for an extended period of time, there's

19:05no energy for growth and repair. There's

19:06no energy for long-term building

19:08projects. And so when it's needed

19:11uh and you have to outrun the predator,

19:13you go.

19:14>> You don't sit and try to make friends

19:15with the predator. We're not that good.

19:18You you run, right? The problem is if

19:20you keep that alarm system switched on

19:22all the time, it gets very addictive.

19:24>> It's a great entity.

19:25>> It's gets very addictive, right? And so

19:28>> I have looked at people's brain scans uh

19:31and watched their brain get worse in the

19:32early days and tap them on the head and

19:34say, "What were you doing in there?"

19:38100% of the time they were analyzing the

19:41problems in their life within that

19:44disturbing emotion. And if an emotion is

19:46a record of the past and they can't

19:48think greater than how they feel,

19:49they're thinking in the past, there's no

19:51solution there.

19:52>> Cross the river, get beyond the emotion

19:55and you'll see possibility because

19:56you're no longer in the box of that

19:58emotional state.

19:59That's so much easier said than done cuz

20:03you're going against

20:05if you're if you're living in stress and

20:07you're living in survival and that

20:09system is switched on, then everything

20:10will be a threat.

20:12>> Everything will be a danger. Everything

20:13will be a reason to rush, to be

20:15impatient, to be frustrated, to be

20:17judgmental because that's that's the

20:19consciousness. That's the emotion we're

20:21living by. So now you you have a a

20:24problem with a coworker, you have a

20:25problem with your partner, whatever it

20:27is that you use as an example, and you

20:28have to give a presentation. Now, now

20:30you really have one of two choices.

20:32Either be victimized

20:34by those conditions in your life, and

20:36you stay in that emotional state. And

20:38I'll say to you, Jay, why are you that

20:39way? Well, I'm this way because of this

20:41person, the circumstance. That person or

20:43circumstance is controlling the way I

20:45feel and the way I think. Anything that

20:47controls the way I feel and the way I

20:48think, I'm victim to. Right. Okay. or I

20:51actually can be a creator now. Okay. So,

20:54when it's the hardest, it matters the

20:55most. Okay. So, there's going to be a

20:57story, a valid story that's going to go

21:00along with those emotions that you're

21:02going to have to give up that you can

21:04address at another time from a different

21:07state. If you're altered in that state

21:10and you say something, you do something,

21:12you write the email, you send the text,

21:14you'll always regret it. You'll always

21:16say, "I should have never said that. I

21:17should have never done that." We got to

21:18learn that we're in an altered state at

21:20that time. So there's only one of two

21:22choices. You either stay there the whole

21:23day and tell everybody that story. Or

21:26you say, "Okay, let me take a moment.

21:28Remember that this is the experiment

21:31called life. Okay, let me practice

21:33getting relaxed in my heart. Let me slow

21:35the animal down. Let me practice that.

21:38Take a few minutes now. Let me breathe.

21:40Let me get my state back. Let me change

21:42everything. Okay, let me remember who I

21:44am, who I want to be when I open my

21:45eyes. And let me practice that again."

21:47Now, even if you had to do that 10 times

21:50in one day, I would say it was a day

21:52worth living.

21:53>> I would say it was a day worth living.

21:55And when we do walking meditations,

21:57uh, in our our retreats, we're doing

21:59walking meditations so you can practice

22:01doing it with your eyes open. Like, if

22:03you're going to be relaxed in your heart

22:04and awake in your brain, and you can do

22:06it with your eyes closed, okay, let's

22:08take it out for a test drive.

22:09>> Let me open my eyes. Let me pay a little

22:11bit more attention to my inner world.

22:13Let me practice feeling this feeling.

22:15Let me practice feeling this way. And

22:17let my brain do what it does. Let me get

22:19define. Let me change my physiology. Let

22:21me change my state. Let me walk as the

22:24healed person. Let me walk as the

22:26abundant person. Let me walk as if my

22:29prayers are answered. Let me walk in

22:30this state.

22:31>> If I keep practicing that over and over,

22:32it's going to become a habit, right? And

22:34so, so we hit it as many ways as we can.

22:37We want you to be able to do it with

22:39your eyes open, with your eyes closed,

22:40standing, walking any way you can so

22:42that you don't default and return back

22:44to that person. Now, if you do default,

22:46you didn't fail.

22:47>> That's a program. You just went

22:49unconscious. And how many times

22:52>> do we have to forget until we stop

22:55forgetting and start remembering? That's

22:57the moment of change.

22:58>> No one no one no one cares how many

23:00times you fell off the bicycle. If you

23:01ride the bicycle, now you ride the bike.

23:04So, it's it's the constant process uh

23:07every single day. And I think that

23:09sometimes we look for evidence in our

23:11life and it hasn't happened. And I think

23:14it's so important that we still show up.

23:17>> Yeah.

23:17>> Yeah. Cuz that's the that's where you're

23:20changing the most. And when you get to

23:22that point where you could care less if

23:24it happens or not cuz you feel so happy,

23:26so grateful for who you are, get ready

23:29because your life is going to begin to

23:30change in magical ways. So then when

23:33they change the way they feel and the

23:36way they think and they start seeing

23:37evidence in their life, they're going to

23:39remember what they did inside of them to

23:41produce that outcome. woman, they're

23:42going to believe they're creator of

23:43their life unless they're the victim of

23:45their life. And that's empowerment.

23:46>> Yeah.

23:47>> And you can't take that away from

23:48anybody. You can't tell me now you're

23:50too sick to do that. You can't tell me

23:52you're too old to do that. You can't

23:53tell me you had a horrible past. You're

23:55too out of shape. You can't even tell me

23:57that you never meditated before because

23:59you have people that come, they know

24:01nothing. They get dragged by somebody

24:03and they have the most profound

24:04experience because they're not expecting

24:06anything. And we have data to suggest

24:07that when you don't expect anything,

24:09you're going to have a profound moment.

24:11So everybody can do it. There's nobody

24:14that's so special to be excluded from

24:18this process. And we have had people

24:19that have had brutal pasts with abuse,

24:22with trauma. We we've seen Navy Seals

24:25and prisoners with horrible, horrible

24:28memories uh literally transform,

24:30literally transform uh in 7 days. And I

24:34could say right now that you make the

24:36time every single day to decide who

24:38you're going to present to the world.

24:40and you get up as that person, you're

24:42going to fall a lot of times, but sooner

24:43or later, once you start to change, it's

24:46pretty hard to go back. Here's an

24:48example. Many people who are changing a

24:50health condition in our work, they start

24:53to do the work. They start noticing,

24:55"I'm sleeping better. Uh, I have less

24:58pain. Uh, I got my appetite back. I feel

25:01like I have more energy." They start

25:03noticing these subtle subjective

25:05changes. that go to their doctor uh and

25:07their their scans still show that they

25:09have their health condition. So, they're

25:12noticing a change, but they're not

25:13healed all the way. Now, they don't say

25:14it didn't work. They say, "What is it

25:17about me that I still have to change in

25:20order to heal? What thought? What

25:21behavior? What emotion?" So, they're a

25:23work in progress, right? Many of those

25:25people discover that they have one

25:28really good hour of meditation where

25:31they feel connected. They feel like

25:33their heart is opening up. They feel

25:35like their brain is coherent. They feel

25:37really great. They don't want the moment

25:38to end. And then they spend 15 or 16

25:42hours of their day back in a program

25:44>> rushing around back in their emotional

25:46states responding and reacting. And they

25:49realized that how could one hour of an

25:53elevated state weigh against 15 or 16

25:56hours of my response to everyone and

25:58everything in my life emotionally is

26:00derived from those familiar emotions of

26:02fear or anger or hatred or or pain or

26:04suffering whatever.

26:06>> Okay. So now this is where the practicum

26:10actually goes to the next level because

26:12they're no longer just sitting down and

26:15rehearsing who they want to be. They're

26:17actually rehearsing for their life.

26:20>> They're saying, "Okay, when I see that

26:22person, when I'm in that circumstance, I

26:25can't go unconscious and feel this

26:26emotion, and I can't go unconscious and

26:28say these things or act this way. How am

26:31I going to act? What would love do? What

26:33would greatness look like?" They don't

26:34know. They read about it. They get more

26:36information, and they're building this

26:38model. And now all of a sudden the

26:40response

26:42to people, to circumstances, to problems

26:45in their life are changing. That's

26:48because they're changing.

26:51and and you could have the best diet and

26:53you could do the best exercise and you

26:55could be really rigid in the food

26:57choices and vitamins and minerals uh and

26:59keep your body chemically balanced and

27:01physically balanced. But if you're not

27:02emotionally balanced and you're

27:05constantly in that fight orflight

27:06system, stress is when your body's

27:08knocked out of homeostasis. The stress

27:10is when your brain and body are knocked

27:12out of balance. So, so you you could

27:15have all those things working for you,

27:16but if you are living in fear or you're

27:18controlling and you're rigid and you're

27:20perfectionist and you're hard on

27:21yourself, it's going to make sense that

27:24that is going to have to change

27:27>> in order for you to change, right? And

27:29so people start getting they start

27:30getting it. I that's the only way I'm

27:32going to change. If I don't change, it's

27:33not going to change. 95% of who we are

27:36by the time middle age is a set of

27:37unconscious thoughts, behaviors, and

27:39emotions. I mean those are beliefs and

27:41perceptions that we have about ourselves

27:42and our lives. So

27:44>> I mean this is a never ending process of

27:46self-discovery. I mean there's always

27:48challenges that you'll have in your life

27:50that are going to initiate you into

27:52becoming conscious of what you're

27:54unconscious to.

27:55>> And you got to meet those challenges

27:56from a greater level of consciousness

27:58than the consciousness that's created.

27:59And you can't if you don't your response

28:02in the way you feel and the way you

28:03think being the same. And if you believe

28:05that how you think and how you feel

28:07creates your life. If you don't change

28:08the way you think and the way you feel,

28:10your life's going to stay the same

28:11because you're the same. I mean, that's

28:12the way it works. So fundamentally, it's

28:15so important for people to understand

28:17that it is actually possible to
