0:00Choose life or death , a blessing or a
0:07curse . Let us choose life and not agree
0:16to murder . The family is not a type of
0:21contract , agreement , or institutional
0:23legal tie , as partnership unions would
0:25have it . Without families , which
0:32through the grace of Christ are a
0:33communion of persons , no nation can
0:35exist and develop . Blessed Primate
0:45Stefan Wyszyński , who on August 5 ,
0:481974 , legally approved the community
0:53that had already existed since January
0:566 , 1968 , urged : " Bind all your hearts
1:03with the prayer of the Rosary so that
1:05they may become a defensive wall of
1:07Christ’s Church under the care of the
1:09victorious Lady of Jasna Góra . "
1:16Fulfilling these words , we are once
1:18again together with our Mother at Jasna
1:20Góra . We are called , in the light of
1:26the revealed word from Saint Paul’s
1:28Letter to the Philippians , to present
1:30our requests to God in every matter
1:32through Mary , in prayer and
1:34supplication with thanksgiving . And
1:39then the peace of God , which surpasses
1:42all understanding , will guard our
1:43hearts and minds in Christ Jesus . It is
1:51on this path , as the Church teaches us
1:53in the Lumen Gentium constitution of
1:55the Second Vatican Council , that Mary
1:57fulfills her mission in faith and love ,
1:59never forgetting that Christ is the
2:02primary model . Looking at Mary , we
2:10believers learn to live in the deepest
2:12communion with Christ , to follow Him
2:14with a living faith , to place our trust
2:16and hope in Him , loving Him with all
2:18our heart and being . Dear brothers and
2:25sisters , the cry of the prophet Isaiah
2:31returns to us , as does that of the
2:33author of Psalm 80 and Saint Matthew
2:36the Evangelist , who proclaim to us the
2:38parable of God's rejected love , and at
2:44the same time , God's victorious ,
2:47merciful love . The fifth evangelist , as
2:52tradition rightly calls the prophet
2:54Isaiah , shows us God's efforts for the
2:56beauty and fruitfulness of His vineyard
2:59. Everything that God does flows from
3:03the gift of His love . Therefore , He
3:08expects the fruits of observing God's
3:10commandments , justice , which in the
3:12Bible means holiness . Yet , He is met
3:17with wickedness and bitter fruits . But
3:24such is human freedom , pushed to the
3:26limits not only of negating love but
3:28also of denying God a place in one's
3:31life . Therefore , after the teaching and
3:36warning of the prophet Isaiah , we can
3:39sing our repentance in the words of
3:41Psalm 80 . Return , O Lord , protect what
3:46Your right hand has planted . Restore us
3:51, O Lord God of hosts , and give us new
3:53life , and we shall be saved . We see ,
4:00then , that the fruitfulness of the
4:02vineyard will not come without human
4:04effort , a true transformation of
4:06conscience , and the prayer of the heart
4:08, which will always be a desire to meet
4:10God and align His will with our human
4:12will . In this same spirit , Saint Paul
4:19instructed us in the aforementioned
4:21passage of his letter to his beloved
4:23community of Philippians . In every
4:28matter , present your requests to God in
4:30prayer . Following prayer , he also calls
4:35us to put into glorious action
4:37everything that is true , what is pure ,
4:40what is just , what is pleasing to God ,
4:42and what is worthy of praise . Think
4:46about these things . In the Gospel of
4:53Saint Matthew , Jesus addresses the same
4:55theme : the tragedy of rejecting both
4:58the Lord's prophets , who speak in God's
5:00name and are chosen by God , and God's
5:02Son sent into the world . Yet , he
5:11ultimately places the emphasis on the
5:13hope that , despite the hostility and
5:15rejection of Christ himself , God was
5:17and will remain the ultimate victor in
5:19human history . The final word belongs
5:25to God . Dear brothers and sisters , this
5:32rejection of Jesus by men as the living
5:34stone , which has become the cornerstone
5:36, repeats itself throughout human
5:38history and reaches our own times as
5:40well . Let us not be deceived . Let us
5:49recall here two very characteristic ,
5:52and I dare say , prophetic statements by
5:54the successors of Saint Peter in the
5:57persons of John Paul II and Benedict
5:59XVI . John Paul II , during the
6:05Eucharistic Congress in June 1987 ,
6:10cried out in Warsaw . No matter how far
6:15opposition to God may go in the world .
6:20No matter how far people may order
6:22their lives against God and outside of
6:24God , even to the point of denying Him .
6:30No one and nothing can erase this fact ,
6:32which is the cross on Golgotha , and
6:34this fact , which is the Eucharist . The
6:39presence of the mystery of the cross
6:40and resurrection . until the end of the
6:43world . Today , we are participants in
6:48this mystery . This is Golgotha here and
6:53now , and the victorious death and
6:57resurrection of Christ . These same
7:02truths were expressed by the Holy
7:05Father Benedict XVI when , on May 27 ,
7:072006 , at a vigil with Polish youth in
7:10Krakow , he said : " One does not need
7:16great intellectual sharpness to see the
7:19manifold signs of the rejection of
7:20Jesus , even where God has allowed us to
7:23grow . " Jesus is often ignored . He is
7:31mocked , declared a king of the past ,
7:33and pushed into the attic of matters
7:35and people who should not be spoken of
7:37aloud in the presence of others . If , in
7:45building the house of your life , you
7:47encounter those who despise the
7:49foundation of Jesus upon which you
7:51build , do not be discouraged . Faith
7:56must pass through trials . Living faith
8:00must constantly grow . Our faith in
8:05Jesus must often confront the disbelief
8:07of others to remain our faith forever .
8:16He further emphasized : " Accept the
8:18Gospel not as a human word , but as the
8:20word of God himself . " And in this way ,
8:25you will be able to accept the
8:27admonitions that Jesus directs to your
8:29consciences , in order to act in
8:30accordance with them .
8:36>> Words coming from God , moral principles
8:38, and the laws of the Gospel cannot be
8:41a subject of bargaining , doubt , or
8:43discussion . The Gospel of Jesus leads
8:49us to concrete deeds in which love is
8:52manifested . Coming from God . Dear
9:05brothers and sisters , after these words
9:07from the successors of Saint Peter , let
9:10us try to find a signpost connected
9:12with the charism of this Marian
9:13sanctuary and the charism of the Jasna
9:15Góra Rosary Family , which transmits to
9:18us through its prayer motives of life
9:20and hope that we place in Christ
9:22through Mary . The fundamental task is
9:34to accept with faith the truth about
9:36the infinite dignity of every human
9:37being by virtue of their creation by
9:39God . Therefore , I strongly wish to
9:45emphasize this . We are created in this
9:49world out of God's love , and not by the
9:51blind fate of nature or through the
9:53process of evolution . God loved us and
9:59therefore created us , and that is why
10:01we exist , destined for eternal life .
10:07From God we have come and to God we are
10:09going . Therefore , the second task is
10:14the right to life . It is not just a
10:19matter of different worldviews , as is
10:21often heard today . It is not even just
10:27a religious right , but a fundamental
10:29human right . God says : " You shall not
10:36kill . " This commandment is a
10:39fundamental principle written into the
10:41conscience of every human being . And in
10:46this law , there can be no doubt , for it
10:49tells us clearly : " Choose life or death
10:56, a blessing or a curse . Let us choose
11:05life . And let us not agree to murder .
11:13The third task is to restore to the
11:15family its true communal character and
11:17dignity . The family is not a type of
11:23contract , agreement , or institutional
11:25legal arrangement , as civil
11:27partnerships would have it . It is a
11:32personal community of life and love .
11:38That is why God clearly said on the
11:40very first pages of the Book of Genesis
11:42: " A man shall leave his father and
11:44mother and be joined to his wife so
11:46closely that they become one flesh . Be
11:52fruitful and multiply , so that you may
11:55bring the earth into subjection . "
12:01Christ will confirm and strengthen this
12:03truth with His own self , raising the
12:05human union of man and woman to the
12:07measure of a sacrament . These two
12:13dimensions of the love of God and man
12:15intersect especially in the family , and
12:17they cannot be reduced merely to a
12:20biological or material reality , because
12:22this is an environment of grace , life ,
12:24and love . Another task is to realize
12:35the fundamental truth that without
12:37families , which through the grace of
12:39Christ are a communion of persons , no
12:41nation can exist and develop . For
12:48families transition indirectly into a
12:51nation as a community of families . They
12:55are the family of families of a nation ,
12:57including our nation , which bears the
12:59name Poland . We know that a nation is
13:05not only a temporal entity , autonomous
13:07from other nations of the world , but it
13:09also possesses its own dignity and
13:11uniqueness that comes from God . Thus ,
13:20for over 1060 years , since Christianity
13:22entered Polish soil , the family and the
13:24nation have been the bond between man
13:27and God and between one another . This
13:33is not some addition to life that can
13:35be given up . This is not just a private
13:40matter or a form of some moral
13:42enslavement . This is a matter of our
13:47personal responsibility before God , for
13:50each and every one of us . Therefore ,
13:55let us ask Mary . Mary , be with us at
13:58all times . May our prayer and
14:03conversation with you in the mysteries
14:05of the rosary pulse through our daily
14:07life and witness of faith . Amen . And
14:16now , something truly exceptional . On
14:18the occasion of the beatification of
14:20Fulton Sheen , a new monumental book by
14:23Father Robert Skrzypczak is being
14:25released , dedicated to one of the
14:27greatest Catholic preachers of the 20th
14:29century . A man who was not called
14:31God’s microphone without reason . It
14:34is over 500 pages , hundreds of
14:36extraordinary stories , photographs , and
14:38priceless archival materials . The first
14:41part guides us through the life , work ,
14:43mission , and teachings of Archbishop
14:45Sheen . And the second , written by
14:47Sheryl Hayes , shows him from a
14:49completely different perspective
14:51through the people he led to conversion
14:53. Artists , intellectuals , communists ,
14:55people from media , politics , and even
14:58show business . And that is exactly why
15:00this book is so relevant today . Sheen
15:02perfectly understood the crisis of his
15:05era . He firmly opposed modernist
15:07tendencies , but he also stood against
15:09the left and attempts to water down the
15:11Catholic faith . He did not adapt the
15:14Church to the world . He showed the
15:17world the fullness of Catholicism and
15:19attracted millions of people . This book
15:22was prepared for the unique moment of
15:24Fulton Sheen's beatification . If you
15:27want to get to know the man who knew
15:29how to win modern media for the Gospel ,
15:32don't wait , order it now in the Biały
15:34Kruk store , because only with us and
15:36only in pre-sale is the book 25 PLN
15:38cheaper . Link in the pinned comment and
15:41in the video description .
15:45>> The thing I truly need is you , my King .
15:54You healed my wounds , you gave me a new
15:56life . You filled the void in my heart .
16:07Now I exist for you . Oh my God , only
16:14You are worthy . Yeah .
