0:00If you're stuck in the zero woo jail or
0:02just can't get your shorts viral, the
0:04problem might not be your shorts, but
0:06the way you're uploading them. Today,
0:08I'm giving you my exact uploading
0:10process that helped me get results like
0:12this and this. And I'll even reveal a
0:15simple setting that almost no YouTube
0:17specialist is talking about. A setting
0:20that got me over 1 million extra views
0:22on multiple shorts just by changing that
0:25one thing. So, if you skip even a single
0:27part of this video, that might be
0:29exactly what's holding you back from the
0:31views and the income you
0:35deserve. Now, the first step would be to
0:38upload your shorts from the right
0:40device. You can upload shorts from your
0:42computer or your phone, but I highly
0:44recommend using your phone. Why? Because
0:46the mobile app gives you access to
0:49important settings you won't find on
0:51desktop. Later on, I'll show you how
0:54these mobile only settings can massively
0:56boost your views. But first, here's the
0:58easiest way to transfer your video from
1:00your computer to your phone for those
1:03who don't know. So, first, upload the
1:05video to Google Drive. Open Google Drive
1:07on your phone, download the file, and
1:09boom, you're ready to upload from your
1:11phone. From here, we can move on to the
1:14next part, hashtags. Most of the views
1:16on shorts come from the shorts feed, not
1:18from hashtags. which means that most of
1:20the time hashtags on shorts are pretty
1:23useless. In fact, using too many
1:25hashtags or keywords can backfire.
1:28YouTube may ignore them entirely.
1:30They've even stated that using over 60
1:32hashtags can result in your video being
1:35removed from uploads or search. So, just
1:37add a few key hashtags that fit your
1:39niche. You can also include a few
1:42keywords in your description, but don't
1:44overthink it. It won't make a big
1:46difference. My most popular short
1:48doesn't have any tags, hashtags, or even
1:50a description. I simply selected the
1:53video category to help you to better
1:55understand what type of content it was,
1:57and that was enough. The video sits at
1:59over 9 million views without any
2:02hashtags. Now, you might be wondering,
2:04then what are the actual settings and
2:06upload strategies that make your videos
2:09perform better? Let's move on to the
2:11title, because that's where the things
2:13get a little more interesting. Because
2:15if done correctly, you can actually
2:17increase your watch time and engagement
2:19with just a better title, which will
2:21naturally make your video perform
2:23better. To boost watch time on my
2:25shorts, I add something in the title
2:27that makes viewers want to stick around
2:30until the end to get the answer. For
2:32example, on this video, I use the title,
2:34"What Ronaldinho said at the end is
2:36wild." When people read the title, it
2:39creates curiosity and makes people crave
2:41that final moment. Now they are really
2:44invested into the short and really want
2:46to know what really happened at the end.
2:48But there is an even more interesting
2:50method that everyone sees but nobody
2:53talks about. I believe you've already
2:55noticed this strange pattern where
2:57shorts creators name all their videos
2:59with a similar phrase like don't click
3:01the sound. You might think it doesn't do
3:03anything but it actually does. These
3:05creators are using reverse psychology
3:07and some people actually click on the
3:09sound. YouTube's algorithm counts that
3:12as engagement. Clicking the sound,
3:14commenting, liking, all of it means they
3:16are spending more time on the platform
3:18and that means YouTube will push that
3:20video to a wider audience. However, I've
3:23never used this method because I had an
3:25even better one. A method that doubled
3:27my views on some videos, turning 2
3:29million views into 4 million with just
3:32one simple change. But first, you need
3:34to know the right time to upload your
3:36shorts. You might think you are
3:38uploading at the right time, but if
3:39you're even an hour off, you could be
3:42missing out on tons of potential views.
3:45So, listen carefully. Before uploading
3:47any short, I always make sure to post it
3:49at the exact time when my audience is
3:52most active. That first hour after
3:54uploading is crucial for reach. Go to
3:56your YouTube analytics, open the
3:58audience tab, and check when your
4:00viewers are most active. Then, upload or
4:02schedule your short about 1 hour before
4:05your audience's peak time. This helps
4:07build momentum as your viewers start
4:09coming online. And if you're uploading
4:11it earlier, don't set it to private.
4:13Instead, make it unlisted. That way,
4:15YouTube can still scan the video for any
4:17copyright issues before it goes public.
4:20When a video is private, YouTube can't
4:21scan it, which could cause problems just
4:24when the video starts taking off. Now,
4:26before we get to the most interesting
4:28part of this video, how I gain millions
4:30of extra views by changing just one
4:32thing, I want to quickly show you my
4:34free YouTube growth Discord group. If
4:36you have any questions about growing
4:37your channel, this is the perfect place.
4:40With over 2,000 like-minded creators,
4:42you won't be doing it alone. From
4:44beginners to people making thousands of
4:46dollars. On top of that, I share daily
4:48advices and sometimes I host free group
4:51calls. So, yeah, growing on YouTube
4:52alone is hard. So, click the link in the
4:54description and make this journey a
4:56whole lot more enjoyable. So, here's how
4:58I double my views with simple trick. If
5:00you don't know already, there are three
5:02main ways to get views from YouTube
5:04shorts. You can get them from the short
5:06feed, search, or browse features. Most
5:08of your videos probably only get views
5:10from the shorts feed, but you could
5:12actually double your views and make them
5:14more evergreen if you focused on making
5:17them show up in browse features, too.
5:19And to do that, you actually need to
5:21start making thumbnails for your shorts.
5:23You might think that's stupid, and yeah,
5:25most people under this part, but it
5:27helped me get more than half of the
5:28views on a 4 million view short just
5:31from browse features and even suggested
5:33videos. And that means that the short
5:35was shown on their homepage next to long
5:37form videos and people were clicking on
5:39it. And that signal to YouTube to put
5:41that short on their homepage more often.
5:44Not only that, it also improved the
5:46longevity of the video. If a short is
5:48promoted only in the shorts feed, it
5:50usually blows up fast, but then it
5:52completely flatlines. But my shorts with
5:55thumbnails keep getting consistent views
5:57every day from browse, making me money
5:59passively. Sure, it's not a lot per
6:01video, but if you got hundreds of shorts
6:03getting views daily for months or even
6:06years, it adds up quickly and becomes a
6:08powerful source of passive income. There
6:10are people who do clickbaity thumbnails
6:12on shorts and gets tens of millions of
6:15views with most of them coming not from
6:17the shorts feed, but from the browse
6:18features. So, when editing a video,
6:20always include a highly clickable frame
6:22that you prepared in Photoshop or in any
6:25different thumbnail making app. And once
6:27you upload that short through phone, you
6:29can actually select that frame from the
6:31video as the thumbnail. You can't upload
6:33a thumbnail for your shorts from
6:35computer. So that's why I recommended to
6:38use phone. Personally, I do this process
6:40in the Photoshop. And for my private
6:43community members, I have some Photoshop
6:45templates and dedicated lessons on this
6:47topic. And people here are getting fast
6:49results. So if you want to join it, you
6:52can check the link in the description.
6:53But since you sticked until the end, I
6:55know you want even more views. So,
6:57here's one last bonus for you. You can
6:59also add a related video to all of your
7:01shores when uploading. It shows up above
7:03your title, and if you give that video a
7:06strong title, people will click it,
7:07sending them from one video to another
7:09and another, bringing you even more
7:11views. But what if even after following
7:14the exact steps I showed you, you still
7:17can't break through the flat lines or
7:18escape the zero goose jail? Well,
7:20alongside good upload strategies and
7:23settings, you also need engaging,
7:25highquality videos. If you're stuck at
7:27zero views, that probably means you
7:29warmed up your account poorly and
7:31YouTube thinks you are a bot uploading
7:33some trash or spam content. If you're
7:36getting a few hundred to a few thousand
7:38views, I'll be honest, that usually
7:39means your content just sucks. And if
7:41you are stuck around 30,000 views, your
7:44videos are likely good but not
7:46outstanding. So, you need to level up.
