0:15pro wrestler . But last July , when U.S.
0:17job site Resume Templates asked 831 Gen
0:20Zers , 77 % said they had brought their
0:22parents to a job interview . 40 % said
0:25their parents sat in on the interview ,
0:27and 34 % said their parents answered
0:29questions for them . 31 % had their resume
0:31written by them . 63 % had their job
0:32applications filled out and submitted
0:34by their parents . Even after getting
0:36hired , 73 % get help from parents with
0:38work tasks , and 45 % have parents who
0:40regularly contact their bosses . Shark
0:42Tank investor Kevin O'Leary stated
0:44firmly that such resumes go straight
0:45into the trash . The film's writer
0:52tweeted back in 2016 that he never
0:53expected Idiocracy to become a
0:55documentary . In the movie , an average
0:57guy becomes a genius after 500 years ,
0:58but in the U.S. today , you're in the
0:59top 23 % if you go to an interview alone .
