0:00I'm about to show you something that you
0:01have probably never seen before. A
0:03Minecraft combat technique that is so
0:05unique, although it's been in the game
0:07since 1.8, its true potential has only
0:10been discovered in the past few years.
0:12Even to this day, it's still quite an
0:14underground community. And every day,
0:16people are still finding new ways to
0:18improve this style of PvP. Let me
0:20introduce to you what I think is the
0:22most unknown, undoubtedly hardest, and
0:25quite possibly best combat technique in
0:28Minecraft. [music]
0:37>> [music]
0:42>> What I just showed you is minecart PvP.
0:45In order to demonstrate how difficult it
0:47actually is, I need to show you. If I
0:50place my rail, then place the minecart,
0:52and finally shoot the minecart, that's
0:54not too hard, but it's way too easy to
0:57be countered. All an opponent has to do
0:58is break the minecart, put up a shield,
1:01or even run away. But you can counter
1:04the counter. If you change up the
1:05technique, then you can actually make
1:07this process way faster. By first
1:09shooting your arrow and then placing
1:11your rail and TNT minecart all in a
1:13simultaneous motion, you can deliver an
1:15explosion that's almost impossible to
1:17predict.
1:19You can probably now understand why this
1:21PvP method is so challenging. Because
1:23along with the crazy mechanics that
1:25carding takes, you also have to manage
1:27your sword, gapples, and cobwebs during
1:29a fight, making cart PvP probably one of
1:32the most challenging [music] PvP methods
1:33to learn and master. With the insane
1:36payoff that this PvP style gives you
1:38when you get good at it, it's better
1:40than anything else. Let's go, bro. But I
1:44think it's finally time to test my true
1:46skills. And over the next month, I'm
1:48going to be learning and attempting to
1:50master cart PvP. But first, I have to
1:52start with my baseline skills. At some
1:54point in the past, I was actually pretty
1:56decent at PvP, and I even used cart PvP
1:59a little bit. During this time, I faced
2:01players like Clown Pierce and actually
2:03stood a decent chance against him. But
2:05for about the past year, I've been
2:07extremely washed at PvP, and my ranking
2:10on the PvP tier list is Ctier, which is
2:13terrible. So, the first thing I had to
2:15do was hop in a game and evaluate my
2:17skills. Off the start, I was pretty much
2:19incapable of hitting Instacards. I mean,
2:21at this point, I've never actually
2:23trained instacarts or really PvP in
2:26general. All of my skills I've picked up
2:28by passively playing the game. I wasn't
2:29able to instart yet, so I stuck to the
2:31slower method of carting. And although I
2:33did find some success with that, there
2:35was no way this was going to work in the
2:37long term, especially against the best
2:39players. Next thing to test was my
2:41general PvP skill. And by the looks of
2:43it, it wasn't great. My game sense was
2:45terrible. My aim was bad. I wasn't good
2:48at critting or anything really. I just
2:50overall pretty much [music] sucked at
2:52PvP. And I was getting a little bit
2:54better on day one. I was starting to be
2:56able to kill players using carts. But
2:57the moment I encountered an actual
2:59competent player, I lost immediately.
3:04But now I knew my base skill level was
3:06pretty bad. The only way I could
3:08possibly go was up. On day two, I
3:11decided to work [music] towards a
3:12specific goal. Up to this point, my
3:14Instacarts were pretty inconsistent and
3:16random when I would hit them because the
3:18technique I used, I just spammed all of
3:20my keys and hoped. So, on day two, I
3:22spent a lot of the day unlearning my
3:24previous technique and relearning the
3:26correct one. All right, [music] time to
3:28practice. Now that I was relearning my
3:30technique, I had to think about every
3:31button press I made. It was a conscious
3:33effort to hit an Instacart, and even
3:35then, I was not doing [music] too great.
3:37My consistency was pretty terrible at
3:39this point. But obviously, practice
3:41[music] makes perfect. And after hours
3:43of doing the same motion over and over,
3:45eventually it gets easier. It took time
3:47for me to properly position my hand, but
3:49as long as I thought about the buttons I
3:51[music] was pressing and the order of
3:52doing it, I kind of started getting more
3:54consistent. And seeing myself only on
3:56day [music] two actually being able to
3:58hit Instacarts felt so good. Now,
4:00although I knew the moment I was under
4:02pressure or fighting against an enemy, I
4:04would pretty much be useless, this was
4:06[music] still progress. And for the rest
4:09of day two, I continued just to practice
4:11my Instacarts. At this point, I really
4:13wanted to get Instacarts [music]
4:14specifically down as it's one of the key
4:17skills of carting. Notably, on day two,
4:19I also changed a lot of my keybinds,
4:21which I don't think had a major effect
4:23on [music] my carding ability because I
4:25was already pretty bad. But by the end
4:27of day two, I had felt a small amount of
4:29improvement. On day three, I started out
4:31by warming up with my friend Redunes.
4:33And although I wasn't playing cart,
4:35being good at any specific game mode
4:37does somewhat correlate to other game
4:39modes. Plus, my sword PvP did definitely
4:41need some work.
4:43I was then invited to a VC with Clown
4:46Pierce and for AMC, which obviously I
4:48lost the sword duels. But when it came
4:50to cart duels, I actually wasn't doing
4:53too bad.
4:58>> Damn. All right. It was starting to
5:01become obvious to me that cart PvP, even
5:03on day three of training, had so much
5:06potential for me. [laughter]
5:08>> Yeah, that's all right. That's all
5:10right. That's all right. That's all
5:11right. That's [laughter] all right.
5:12>> Already so soon into this challenge, I
5:14was feeling so good about my carts.
5:16Landing decent under pressure instacarts
5:19against really good players is crazy.
5:23You're the best. [laughter]
5:28Although it still wasn't perfect, I was
5:31pretty happy with my progression
5:32already. [music]
5:38Although I was managing to get some good
5:41instacarts and play well at certain
5:43times, it wasn't consistent. A small
5:45change in the way I was holding my mouse
5:47or just my general lack of confidence
5:49could completely change the way I play.
5:51And I seem to run into moments where I
5:53just completely forgot how to instart
5:55and couldn't regain that skill without
5:57hard concentrating on doing it.
6:01[music]
6:05But of course, it's only day three and I
6:07didn't really expect to be a master
6:09already. So this made sense and I just
6:12continued practicing. I was getting a
6:14lot better at regular Instacarts as
6:16well. Through trial and error, I was
6:17starting to figure out correct form for
6:19my Instacarts as well. But the moment I
6:21was attacked by an entity, my form and
6:24any sort of training just went out the
6:26window. This extra pressure of needing
6:27to be quicker made me much worse.
6:31No, my bow's going to kill it. I
6:33definitely needed to learn how to get
6:34better form and also to perform better
6:36under pressure. And what better way to
6:38learn than watching the best of the
6:40best. I'm going to have to like slow
6:41this down. All right, so he just hit
6:42Instacart. This is a player named It's
6:44Salmon. And these mechanics of highle
6:46players is just so insane. I could
6:48barely even comprehend it
6:51and get that.
6:54Yeah. Like that's insane. It was pretty
6:56obvious that cart PvP is a lot of
6:58mechanical skill. So obviously I just
7:01had to keep training. All right. So
7:03let's um I feel like one of the main
7:05things I need to practice is my flicks.
7:06But like bro, and I I wish I was just
7:08like I was just doing so much better
7:09earlier today, too. But it's okay. I'll
7:11lock in. I'll change the mindset. So
7:13they aim around like head height. I
7:15would say it's maybe not completely head
7:16height. I think it's like a little bit
7:17lower. Like [music] around here is what
7:19I'm seeing. Hopefully that's correct. I
7:20was trying to copy what I saw them doing
7:22in the video, but really it wasn't
7:24working too well for me. And I was
7:26seeing a lot of backwards progression.
7:30No, bro. I think though I just had to be
7:33persistent for this. I was actually just
7:34doing so much better earlier. It's
7:35unfair. And for the rest of day three, I
7:37spent a few more hours just practicing
7:39Instacarts. I got some much needed rest
7:41for day four. But finally, when day four
7:43began, I was feeling pretty good. We are
7:46back. We're back. Back. Back. Back.
7:48Back. And with having a fresh mind, my
7:50skills were ready to start Instacarting.
7:53That was my first second card of the
7:55day, I guess. And right away, I was
7:57already doing pretty well.
8:03I have a fresh mind right now.
8:06Oh boy.
8:09Hell yeah.
8:12Hell yeah. And although obviously I
8:14still am not the best at carting, I
8:16think this goes to show how important a
8:18good mindset is when you're learning a
8:20new skill. Simply by having a one-day
8:22break, I came back and felt so much
8:25better at my Instacarts,
8:28dude. Feeling good. Look at that. Look
8:30at that. Most of day four was just me
8:32practicing my consistency of Instacarts.
8:34At this point, I'd already sunk 15 to 20
8:36hours into just Instacarts. As well, on
8:39day four, I decided to practice some
8:40straightup duels, too.
8:45Yes.
8:47Which comparatively to day one and two,
8:49my Instacarts in game were so much
8:51better. Both day five and six were
8:54generally pretty similar. I mean, I'm
8:56getting to the point where I essentially
8:57just need to keep practicing to get
8:59better, and I was seeing pretty good
9:00improvement in my skills every day. My
9:03biggest issue still was under pressure
9:04instacarts. It was just so challenging
9:06to quickly hit those carts while being
9:08under attack. Oh my god. So, I set up a
9:11practice zombie and gave it speed two
9:13and infinite resistance and just trained
9:15on that for [music] multiple hours. All
9:17right, there we go. That's one.
9:23This is when I really started to lock in
9:25on the actual training methods I was
9:27using. I was trying to optimize pretty
9:29much everything I was doing for maximum
9:31efficiency and maximum accuracy. Here, I
9:33was attempting to go on Instacart
9:35streaks. So, every time I missed an
9:36Instacart, I would reset. And eventually
9:38I was doing like 25 instacarts in a
9:41>> [music]
9:41>> row without missing.
9:43No, [laughter]
9:47no. But anytime I felt confident in one
9:50section of training, I would just move
9:52on to a more challenging task. So we
9:54need to work on our under pressure. And
9:56then so
9:58that was good.
10:00Obviously I have a lot to learn. I was
10:02keeping mental note every time I missed
10:04and hit a cart, just trying to
10:06understand what I was doing wrong. And
10:08just by doing this, it made progression
10:10so [music] much easier. I repeat the
10:12things that I do well, and I stopped
10:13doing the things I do bad. And by the
10:15end of day seven, it was pretty obvious
10:17that this was definitely paying off. My
10:19accuracy, my consistency, and my speed
10:21had all increased substantially from day
10:24one. I was getting to the point that it
10:26was obvious that my skills were
10:28improving. And sooner or later, as long
10:30as I got my consistency down, this would
10:32start to be lethal. But not all days are
10:35good days. On day eight and 9, I
10:38honestly saw a lot of regression.
10:40Potentially, I just wasn't as locked in
10:42on these days. But in order to raise my
10:44baseline skill level, I had to keep
10:46pushing even on bad days. No.
10:52>> Ah, bro. Uh, I lowkey need to like lock
10:55in on some practice for Instacarts cuz
10:58I'm making like silly mistakes right
10:59now. Because my Instacarts were just not
11:01feeling the best today. I decided to
11:02challenge some of my other skills by
11:04dueling my friend Parrot. And honestly,
11:06people kind of underestimate how good he
11:08is at PvP. And although I've been
11:10training PvP for a week now, I still
11:12wasn't able to win most of the duels. By
11:14the end of day 9, I was feeling a lot
11:16better. And although I don't think I
11:17really improved between day 8 and 9, I
11:20could definitely see my consistency
11:21getting better, though. There we go.
11:23Look at that. That was a beautiful card
11:24right there. For most of day 10, I spent
11:26just dueling better players. There we
11:29go. And although I was losing a lot of
11:31my fights.
11:32>> Oh no, bro. It was definitely helping
11:34with my game sense and under pressure
11:35cards.
11:36>> Yes.
11:39Yes. Let's go.
11:44Oh no.
11:48Nah, bro. Tough is still better. After
11:50day 10, I felt like my base skills were
11:52pretty solid and I would just need more
11:54time to refine everything. So, I decided
11:56to turn it up a notch and start learning
11:58some new skills. Throughout the entirety
11:59of day 11, I worked on double carting.
12:02Just by holding a TNT minecart in your
12:03off hand, you could essentially cart two
12:05consecutive times in a row without
12:07having to do anything else. Oh, I see
12:10the tech. All right. Although
12:11mechanically nothing really changes, it
12:13is still a lot harder. You [music] have
12:15to do two consecutive carts at pretty
12:17high speeds while predicting the knock
12:19back of the [music] mob and tracking it
12:20with the cart. A that's awesome. Wait,
12:22that's awesome. I practiced this for the
12:24majority of day 11 and I did get it
12:26pretty down on my practice zombie. I was
12:27struggling a lot with actually pulling
12:29this off in game. I was getting some
12:31clips that were actually kind of close
12:33to a double cart, but nothing that I
12:36would actually call a double cart. Day
12:3712 and 13 were pretty similar. At this
12:39point, I was just refining my skills to
12:41be better. But on day 14, I decided to
12:44make a major change in the way I was
12:45practicing. Before, I was playing
12:47against pretty much any player [music] I
12:48could fight. But I decided if I wanted
12:50to see real progress, I needed to fight
12:52players that were better than me. And
12:53maybe not just a little bit better than
12:55me, a lot better than me. I joined the
12:57official Cart PvP Discord server and got
13:00into contact with some high tier
13:01players. The players that I was talking
13:03to are pretty much the best in the
13:05world. And literally the first person I
13:07fought is a player named Digen, who's
13:08pretty much top three in the world. The
13:10fight lasted around a minute and of
13:12course I lost. But during this time I
13:15could barely get hits off and I did not
13:17land a single instakart.
13:26I fought some other skilled players as
13:27well and was realizing how much I needed
13:30to learn. This is a pretty decent high
13:32tier three car player which means you're
13:33around top 200 in the world. And I got
13:35shredded. I think I was just starting to
13:38realize how much of a difference I was
13:40compared to these top players.
13:42Originally, I saw Hyra 3 as an
13:44accomplishable goal, but now I was
13:47absolutely getting destroyed, and I just
13:51didn't understand how they did it.
13:53Compared to these players, my mechanics
13:55and game sense were just so much worse.
13:57I originally wanted to become a top 100
14:00player, but after playing against some
14:02of them, I didn't really think this was
14:04going to be too possible.
14:08>> [music]
14:09>> I was trying so hard and I felt really
14:11locked in, but I couldn't even get close
14:14to killing one of these players.
14:20I was trying my best and I was
14:22practicing as much as I could, but not
14:24being able to win against these players,
14:26I was somewhat losing hope. All right,
14:28let's run it. Here we go. Here's me
14:30playing Theo Ball the Bird, one of the
14:32most well-known car PvPers, and I played
14:34him for hours and was just losing and
14:37losing and losing.
14:44Oh no, bro. [music]
14:50[music]
14:52Dude, my aim is atrocious right now.
14:56No, bro. My aim, bro.
15:00Yeah. Oh no. [laughter]
15:16Oh,
15:17>> you gotten so much better at insta
15:19carting.
15:20>> Thank you. After about 3 hours of
15:23consecutive cartp against doald and
15:26losing every single game, I finally
15:29managed to win one game.
15:45>> [music]
15:57>> Let's go. I know getting one kill on
16:00Theoald in a 3-hour match doesn't really
16:03mean much, but it did give me some sort
16:06of confidence. And I was slowly
16:08realizing that actually playing these
16:10good players was making me a lot better.
16:13as if I wanted to win against them, I
16:15had to go for perfection. And I might
16:18not be the best player, but I definitely
16:20was getting [music] better.
16:29[music]
16:35[music]
16:43And I wasn't winning these games because
16:46obviously these players are just miles
16:48better than me. But eventually I did
16:49pair up against some average to above
16:51average players and I actually did
16:54pretty well. Keep in mind it's only been
16:5614 days since I started training. This
17:00is Schlash supporter who is a top 200
17:02cart PvPB player and also a cart tester.
17:05So he helps rank players. And I would
17:07eventually run into this guy again
17:09later.
17:17Let's go. I played for a lot on day 14
17:20and overall I was extremely happy with
17:22how it went. My progress has actually
17:25been insane for only 14 days. And for
17:28the rest of the night, I pretty much
17:29beat everyone I played against. and I
17:32was feeling like it was finally time to
17:34see how good I actually was and get
17:36myself tested on the rank side [music]
17:37of card PvP. The thing about testing is
17:40that it's random and you don't know who
17:42you're going to play against. And so, I
17:43really had no clue what to expect, but
17:46from what I've heard is it's not easy. I
17:49didn't really know what to expect, but
17:51all I could really do was practice my
17:53skills and hopefully I was good enough
17:55for this duel. My goal was to become a
17:57top 100 player. And if I could do it
17:59now, I mean, that would be optimal. Of
18:00course, I would just have to perform
18:02well enough in my actual test. Okay, so
18:05I'm uh playing on on just the dual
18:07server right now. I just saw a Discord
18:09ping saying that [music] some testing is
18:10happening right now. Uh and I'm pretty
18:12sure I can just join that. So, I'm going
18:14to I'm going to join that and we'll see,
18:16I guess. All right. So, I'm in a queue.
18:18There's five other players ahead of me.
18:21And then I guess I get tested, but I
18:23still don't know who's testing right
18:24now. I'm a little nervous. I won't lie.
18:26I'm actually nervous cuz I don't know
18:28who it's going to be and I don't know if
18:30I'm good enough to [music] be honest. I
18:32was a little worried because you can
18:33only test around once a month and
18:36usually the player is pretty dang good.
18:38But eventually the queue got to my
18:39position and it was my turn to go. All
18:42right, I'm going to go get tested now. I
18:44was definitely a bit nervous for this as
18:46I wanted it to perform well. All right,
18:47I mean here we go I guess. But I have
18:49played against Schlatch supporter before
18:51and won one of my games so I felt a
18:53little bit confident. All right, here we
18:54go. Right off the bat though, I could
18:56tell I was nervous and not ready for
18:58this. I wasn't landing carts that I
19:00normally would land and my heads were
19:02shaky.
19:04Hell no. I already popped. That's
19:07unfortunate. All right. Well, okay. So,
19:09I know this is about to be hard.
19:10[laughter]
19:11Good. Good to know. Time to lock in now.
19:16There was a chance earlier that when I
19:18was playing slash supporter and one I
19:20can do this that he wasn't playing at
19:22his peak performance and wasn't trying
19:24as hard as he possibly could because now
19:27I was kind of getting destroyed. [music]
19:31Oh frick, bro. No, I lost my first one.
19:34Darn. All right. Well, okay. I'm warming
19:36up, though. I'm warming up. I'll get it.
19:38I'll get it. Although I lost, it was
19:40first of three, so I did still have more
19:43chances to prove myself. And I didn't
19:45have to beat slash supporter really. I
19:47just needed to put up my best
19:48performance and he would rank me based
19:49off of that. So I haven't really lost
19:51yet to [music] be honest. It's all
19:52right. It's all right. I got this.
19:55I was feeling a bit more confident this
19:57round and I think that small amount of
19:59confidence really showed.
20:05Damn it.
20:13>> [music]
20:25>> [ __ ] bro.
20:32[music]
20:39Okay, I popped them. I popped them.
20:40That's good. That's good. That's good.
20:41I'll take that.
20:44I'll take that. I have a chance.
20:51[music]
21:00Let's go. Yes. Let's go. Yes.
21:04Okay, that's 1-1. That's 1-1 right
21:05there. That's 1-1. Come on. And as well
21:08as that game went for me, winning one
21:09game instantly meant [music] I was a
21:11decently high tier rank. Unfortunately,
21:13the last game didn't go as well. I did
21:16still make some pretty good plays in it.
21:29No, bro. Stupid mistake right there.
21:41All right, I popped him. I popped him.
21:43Let's go.
21:51No, bro. Oh, no.
21:55One heart. No. But in the end, I was
21:58given a low tier three ranking, which
22:00means I'm around top 300 to 400 in the
22:03world, which honestly I couldn't have
22:05been more happy about. I was nowhere
22:07near expecting me to perform this well
22:09or get that ranking. Yay.
22:12Thank you. Oh my god, I I got low tier
22:15three. [laughter]
22:17Yo. Yo, guys, I got low tier three. Yay.
22:22I was pretty ecstatic cuz I really
22:24didn't think I would achieve this rank
22:26because it can usually take up [music]
22:28to months to achieve this normally. It
22:30was pretty awesome seeing the community
22:31react to me getting low tier 3 and them
22:33being pretty proud of me. But there was
22:35also quite a lot of people who didn't
22:37believe I was this skill level. I was
22:39getting comments like, "I'm embarrassed
22:41to be the same tier as Leowook." Or even
22:43just, "Lowook, you're trash." But even
22:45in my tier testing game, there was some
22:48kid in the VC that was totally
22:50trashalking me. If he like does really
22:52bad, just like aggro on him and then win
22:543 and give him LT5 and say, "Well, he's
22:57to lose, bro." Oh, damn. He sucks.
23:00>> No, like he actually isn't that good.
23:02>> He's garbage.
23:03>> It was honestly pretty interesting
23:05seeing the community split between just
23:07pure hating me and also being really
23:09supportive. But I had proved myself. I
23:12had gotten to low tier three, so what
23:13they said didn't matter, right? So,
23:16right after I got my rank, I started
23:18playing a ranked playlist in the cart
23:20PvPV community. Essentially, something
23:21you get access to the moment you get
23:23ranked for the first time. [music] And I
23:24thought I had the capability to become a
23:27top 100 player. But after my first duel,
23:30I realized how wrong I was.
23:34My first opponent actually just
23:36destroyed me. Keep in mind, this is
23:38supposed to be an equivalent skill
23:40player, but instead I got pretty much
23:42destroyed in three rounds.
23:50I did end up winning one round, but
23:53honestly, I just think that was a fluke.
24:04Although it felt like I'd become such a
24:05great player in just 20 days, honestly,
24:08I wasn't holding up too well against
24:10players that were equivalent skill. And
24:12if I lost one more ranked game, I would
24:15demote to a lower tier, putting me in
24:17around top 1,000 players. And in a game
24:20mode where there's only around 5,000
24:21players, that isn't very good. And
24:24honestly, I would have just run more
24:25ranked games, but I was scared of losing
24:28my rank. What if the players that were
24:30saying the mean things were right? What
24:32if I actually am boosted? What if I do
24:36suck at cart PvP like everyone is
24:38telling me? For the next 10 days, I
24:40didn't play any ranked at all, and I
24:43didn't really even play much cart PvP or
24:46PvP in general. [music] I practiced
24:48occasionally, but I was so scared of
24:50losing that I wasn't doing ranked. But I
24:53knew at some point I actually just had
24:55to [music] do it. I had to see if I was
24:57worthy of being this skill level or not.
24:59And so, I finally hopped into a ranked
25:01game after 20 days of not playing one. I
25:04had high hopes, praying that the player
25:06I played earlier was just extremely good
25:08for this skill level. But as I got into
25:11the duel, this wasn't really the
25:13reality.
25:18Damn, bro. All right. All right. All
25:20right,
25:22bro.
25:23Oh, no. I'm cooked, bro.
25:30Oh [laughter] no.
25:34Oh no.
25:45Oh no, bro. I just killed myself. And at
25:50this point, [music] it was becoming
25:51evident to me that I wasn't the same
25:53skill level as these players. And my
25:56ranking quickly showed that to be true.
25:58I got demoted. I was probably now in
26:01around top 1,000 [music]
26:03player, which I was extremely
26:05unsatisfied with if my goal is to be top
26:08100. And I don't know if it was just my
26:10mental or my skills were truly just not
26:12good enough. But for the rest of the
26:14day, I lost pretty much every single
26:17game I played. And eventually, I got
26:20demoted again, making myself low tier 4
26:24or around top [music] 2,500 in the
26:27world. I will say though, I felt really
26:29confident that I wasn't low tier 4. I
26:31really thought my skills were better
26:33than this, but the only way to find out
26:36was to prove myself and climb back up to
26:40low tier three. All right, I haven't
26:42warmed up at all, but I'm doing rank
26:43duels. Here we go.
26:52Like that's a decent start for me. And
26:53right off the bat, I was feeling pretty
26:56confident.
26:59Good on them. But this confidence was
27:02quickly shattered.
27:04They're good at their instards. I won't
27:05even lie.
27:10Okay, that's great.
27:14Oh my god, they're actually crazy at the
27:16cards, bro. Damn. All right, one zero.
27:20I'm I'm just Yeah, that's crazy. I
27:22quickly realized that I needed to change
27:25something up. I felt like my mechanics
27:27in my game sense were all good, but for
27:29some reason I couldn't actually apply it
27:32all in an actual duel. I needed to find
27:34a way to counter this player's play
27:35style. They seem to use their carts a
27:37lot because they're pretty good at them.
27:38But I haven't seen them use their sword
27:40pretty much at all. And maybe I can take
27:42advantage of this by playing extremely
27:44close and getting good sword hits off.
27:53Okay, so they just they spam pearl and
27:54car. All right.
27:56That's fine. I can I can just uh drain.
27:59I guess this player seem to be using
28:00absurd amount of utility right at the
28:03beginning of the game. And if they
28:04continue with this, they're going to run
28:05out of pearls and carts extremely fast.
28:08They're definitely using quite a lot of
28:09pearls and also carts.
28:33Oh, okay.
28:37Interesting. All right. I seem to take a
28:38lot of damage, so just like kind of
28:39going for those sword crits might be
28:41might be a strat for me. Although I
28:42didn't really expect it, I managed to
28:44come back and get a win. But the thing
28:46that changed between the first round and
28:48that round was I used my opponent's
28:50weaknesses against them. And I was just
28:52starting to realize how important
28:54adaptability is in fights.
29:00There we go. Oh my god, that was crazy.
29:03That was crazy. All right, I'm one I'm
29:05up one two now. And after getting the
29:07final win to this duel,
29:11I ranked up. What I didn't realize this
29:14entire time was that training duels and
29:16learning people's strategies was just as
29:19important [music] as every other skill I
29:21was learning. And facing these
29:23equivalent skill players made me learn
29:25fast.
29:33[music]
29:36Yes.
29:49>> [music]
29:59[music]
30:00>> Let's [ __ ] go, bro.
30:05[music]
30:12>> [music]
30:16>> Oh my god, I won. Yes.
30:22[music]
30:29[music]
30:34>> [music]
30:41[music]
30:47[music]
30:50>> And I was going on a crazy run. I was
30:53now consistently facing low tier three
30:56players or top 300 players and I was
30:59winning as well. I managed to obtain my
31:01low tier three rank back. But this time
31:04I actually felt like I deserved it. Yet
31:06I'm still not a top 100 player. In order
31:10to become a top 100 player, I have to
31:12get the ranking of high tier three,
31:14which in this rank there's only
31:16currently 75 people. I was pretty much
31:19grinding ranked duels every single day.
31:21And after I hit low tier three, little
31:23did I know I was only one game away from
31:27high tier three or top 100 players. I
31:31really didn't know that I was actually
31:32about to rank up. So I started recording
31:35mid game. I was doing my first restock
31:36and currently the score was 0.
31:43So far in the game, I was feeling pretty
31:45confident against my opponent. I was
31:47definitely winning on drain and my
31:49skills were just a bit better than this
31:51player
32:07and eventually I get my opportunity to
32:09win the first round.
32:13Let's go. All right, that the first wind
32:16of the round was great, but I didn't
32:19expect for my opponent to crash out and
32:21start being unkind. I've never had a
32:23problem in any other duel besides this
32:25one, but seeing my opponent being tilted
32:27on the first game made my confidence go
32:29up even more that I was going to win.
32:31Plus, winning against a toxic player
32:33always feels pretty good.
33:23Oh, okay. All right. Bet. The player of
33:27course continued to talk smack and chat,
33:29but obviously I didn't really care cuz I
33:31was winning. And now I only needed to
33:33win one more round before I became a top
33:36100 player.
33:47I honestly wasn't even playing my best
33:49at the moment. And this player was not
33:51the best low tier three I faced. But I
33:54mean, I guess it's just luck of the
33:55draw.
33:58Heat. Heat.
34:29Yes. Yes. Let's go, bro.
34:34High tier three. Oh my god. Of course,
34:37this player had to beg for a rematch,
34:39but I couldn't rematch him anymore. I
34:41was now high tier three. Oh my god. And
34:44just about a day later, I am officially
34:47placed right here, high tier three on
34:51the tier list. And if I collect all
34:53these names, I put them into the this.
34:56Yep. There is 75 players that are high
35:00tier three and above. And I am one of
35:03those 75 players, [music] which means I
35:06mean, I'm placed right here 48. I I
35:07don't know if that's true or not.
35:09Technically,
35:11I am a top 75 player now. That is
35:14insane, bro. That is insane. Now, you
35:18might be thinking, "Wouldn't it be so
35:19cool if I could get into tier 2 or even
35:22possibly tier 1 and be a top 10 player?"
35:25Yes, I agree, and I'm going to. I
35:27really, really want to. But once you get
35:29to tier 2 and tier one, you have to use
35:31a new kit, which I have yet to learn.
35:34I'll go over it later, but I already
35:35have started my journey, and I'm
35:37starting to get decent at this style,
35:39but probably will be a long time before
35:41I reach tier 2 or tier one. Oh, I just
35:43hit a clip. But this is the end of my
35:45journey so far. Please check out my
35:47lunar clan cape if you enjoyed this
35:49video and like car PvP. And if you want
35:52to see more videos where I use this
35:54style of PvP in the future, leave a
35:55like, leave a comment, say something.
35:57And thanks for watching.
