0:00let me start with something honest
0:02most people who say they're trying to manifest love
0:06are actually doing things that quietly push love away
0:10not because they're unworthy
0:12not because they're broken
0:13but because they've been taught the
0:15wrong definition of manifesting
0:18we've been told that manifesting love
0:20means visualizing the perfect person
0:23saying affirmations
0:25and waiting for the universe to deliver
0:27but psychology tells a very different story
0:31love doesn't appear because you want it badly enough
0:35love appears when your beliefs
0:37nervous system
0:38habits and identity are aligned with sustaining it
0:43so today I want to talk about how to actually
0:46manifest romantic love this year
0:48in a way that's grounded in science
0:51emotionally honest
0:52and genuinely hopeful
0:54and if you stay with me
0:55this episode won't just change
0:57how you think about love
0:59it will change how love finds you
Attract the Relationship That Matches Your Growth
1:02here's the reframe that changes everything
1:05you don't attract the relationship you want
1:08you attract the relationship you're
1:10ready to participate in
1:12that's not spiritual language
1:14that's psychological reality
1:16research shows that relationship formation is
1:19predicted far more by emotional availability
1:23attachment security and
1:24behavioral consistency than by looks
1:27money or status
1:29no matter what the internet says
1:31so manifesting love isn't about calling someone in
1:35it's about becoming someone
1:37love can actually stay with
1:39manifesting love isn't about
1:41attracting the right person
1:43it's about becoming emotionally
1:45available when they arrive
1:48manifesting love isn't about chemistry
1:51it's about nervous system safety
1:54it isn't about visualizing a relationship
1:57it's about making room to actually have one
2:01manifesting love isn't about fixing yourself
2:04it's about stopping the
2:05behaviors that block connection
2:08manifesting love isn't about being wanted
2:12it's about being able to receive
2:15manifesting love isn't about waiting for a sign
2:18it's about recognizing consistency
2:21manifesting love isn't about high standards
2:24it's about clear ones
2:26so let's talk about how we do that
2:28principle 1 emotional availability
Principle #1: Emotional Availability
2:32one of the most well researched ideas in
2:35relationship science is attachment theory
2:38decades of study show that people tend to fall
2:41into patterns of how they connect secure
2:44anxious or avoidant
2:47here's what's important
2:48a large meta analysis published in personality and
2:52Social Psychology Review found that securely attached
2:55people are consistently rated as more desirable long
2:59term partners regardless of physical attractiveness
3:03why because secure people communicate clearly
3:08respond consistently
3:09and are emotionally present
3:11secure people don't disappear to be chased
3:16insecure people withdraw to see if you care
3:20secure people bring issues to the person involved
3:24insecure people talk to everyone else first
3:27secure people don't confuse intensity with intimacy
3:31and here's the quiet truth
3:33many people say they want love
3:36but they're not emotionally available
3:38they're still attached to an ex a fantasy
3:41or a version of love that hurt them
3:43so ask yourself
3:45am I emotionally open or just emotionally hopeful
3:51because hope doesn't create availability
3:54presence does
3:56remember this
3:57chemistry without safety feels exciting
4:01safety without chemistry feels boring
4:05secure love learns how to hold both
4:09manifesting love begins when you stop chasing
4:12emotional unavailability and stop calling it a passion
4:17it's so fascinating to me
4:19I was at an event during the holidays
4:21and I was speaking to four women
4:24who all said to me that they wanted to find love
4:28and I asked them how dating was going
4:30and they all said they weren't dating
4:32they weren't meeting people
4:33it's fascinating to me when our action
4:36is misaligned from my intention
4:37now I realize dating is exhausting
4:40I realize that the apps can be challenging
4:42I recognize that this isn't easy
4:45but what I wanna share with you is this
4:49when you become more emotionally
4:51available with your friends your family
4:53open to connect
4:55when you're figuring out how you're
4:58actually showing up as the person you want
5:01someone to fall in love with already
5:04guess what there's gonna be more
5:06opportunities for you to create that connection
5:09because you're already showing up
5:10as the person who you wanna be
5:13you're already showing up as the person
5:15that someone can fall in love with
5:16you're already showing up as that person
5:18it makes such a big difference
5:20now anyone who says it doesn't happen magically
5:22you're right
5:22it doesn't happen magically
5:24but it's that you start to spot the opportunities
5:27it's that you start to see where there
5:29might be a connection or compatibility
5:31and the best part is you also know when it isn't
5:34I think that's another thing
5:35a lot of us waste our time
5:37in areas or with people that we know aren't the one
5:42because we're so desperate and wanna be with someone
5:44that we actually miss out on
5:46someone who might be right there
5:48because we're too busy over here
5:50and so making space is so important
5:52now step 1 won't work
Principle #2: Identity Shapes Attraction
5:55unless we understand Principle 2
5:58identity shapes attraction
6:02let's talk about identity
6:04psychologists have known for decades that self
6:07concept predicts behavior more reliably than intention
6:12think about this
6:13you don't act based on what you want
6:16you act based on who you believe you are
6:20studies published in the journal of
6:22personality and Social Psychology show that
6:25people subconsciously choose partners and
6:28tolerate behavior that confirm their self story
6:33even when that story hurts them
6:36the story you tell yourself
6:38the story you tell others
6:39the story you believe about yourself
6:42is the kind of partner you allow into your life
6:46if you always believe that you're unlucky in love
6:49you will find the evidence to match that
6:52see what our mind does is that it seeks
6:55out proof for what we already believe
6:58it seeks out evidence for what you already believe
7:02so if you believe you're unlucky in love
7:04you'll meet someone and it won't work out
7:06and then you'll feel unlucky
7:08you are noticing
7:08you're training your mind to notice that
7:11so if somewhere inside you believe I'm unlucky in love
7:15people always leave
7:17I'm just too much
7:19you don't just think those thoughts
7:21you live them
7:22you overexplain
7:24you overgive
7:25you ignore red flags
7:27you stay longer than you should
7:29because ultimately
7:31you're simply trying to prove
7:33the argument in your mind
7:35if you tell everyone the story of you know
7:38what I've just never been able to find someone
7:40that everyone in my life connects with
7:44you will find the person that everyone in your
7:47life connects with apart from your sister right
7:50because you're trying to repeat that evidence
7:52you're trying to prove that to yourself
7:54it's fascinating how the mind works
7:56you've probably seen this in other areas as well
7:58whatever you believe
7:59you start to see it everywhere
8:01but manifesting love requires
8:04shifting from intention to identity
8:08you don't want to say I want a healthy relationship
8:11but I'm someone who is part of healthy relationships
8:16I'm someone who participates in healthy relationships
8:19notice how it's a different shift
8:21that identity shows up as boundaries without guilt
8:26standards without defensiveness
8:28and curiosity without the anxiety
8:32here's the line to remember
8:34love responds to identity signals
8:38not affirmations
8:40I want you to be really clear about what you notice
8:43about yourself and what you believe about yourself
8:47everyone can tell two stories
8:49the incredible things they did
8:51or the bad things that happened to them
8:53it's all about which one you notice
8:55and which one you expand upon
8:58when you believe that everything you've been
9:00through in your life has brought you to this place
9:02where you're ready for the right relationship
9:05you're ready for a healthy relationship
9:07you're not gonna settle for less than you deserve
9:09but you're not gonna have crazy
9:11expectations that aren't realistic
9:14you actually get to move forward
9:16but when you keep creating stories about
9:18why your love life hasn't worked out
9:20you will constantly exacerbate
9:23and expand them into your life
Principle #3: Proximity and Probability
9:26now
9:26I know that I've talked to you about Principle 1 and 2
9:29but Principle 3 is the real practical unlock
9:34principle 3 is all about proximity and probability
9:37now let's ground this even more
9:40one of the strongest findings in attraction
9:43research is something called the mere exposure effect
9:48simply put the more we see someone
9:51the more familiar and attractive they become
9:54another well established
9:55principle is the propinquity effect
9:58relationships form through repeated proximity in fact
10:02research consistently shows that most long term
10:05couples meet through shared environments
10:07shared routines
10:09and repeated interaction
10:11not destiny so here's the reframe
10:14love doesn't show up when you're ready
10:16love shows up when you're reachable
10:19if your life has no rhythm
10:21love has no entry point
10:23manifesting love looks like showing up
10:26to the same places at the same times
10:29around people who share your values
10:32this isn't forcing love
10:34this is designing coincidence
10:36think about it
10:37so many people meet at work
10:38so many people meet at their place of worship
10:41people meet people in places of similar value
10:44like a charity
10:46some people meet people at a party of a mutual friends
10:50most of the time
10:51and if you think about just 25 to 50 years ago
10:54most people got married to someone within a
10:56five mile radius of where they grew up
10:59if we don't have proximity with opportunity
11:02our probability of finding love goes down
11:06and for most of us
11:08we're trying to find love more randomly
11:10what feels like magic
11:12what feels like synchronicity
11:14rather than looking for it sometimes in the
11:16most obvious places that are right there
11:20you're more likely to fall in love and find someone
11:22is right for you in a place that you've repeatedly
11:25gone to than somewhere where you went once
11:28and we always hear about those amazing stories
11:30I was on vacation
11:32or I was taking a little sabbatical
11:33or we just bumped into each other
11:35those are beautiful
11:36and that's amazing
11:37but the research proves that it's the repeated
11:40interactions that increase the probability for
11:43connection don't underestimate
11:46the people you know the most to help you
11:48find someone that you could love
11:50don't underestimate the places that you already go
11:52to to potentially discover the right partner
11:56don't underestimate the repetitive patterns in your
11:59life that can lead to spontaneous connection
12:03it brings me so much joy to share this with you
Principle #4: Nervous System Compatibility
12:05and to give something back in the process
12:08Junee is now available at
12:10Whole Foods Market nationwide

12:35support your focus
12:36and give you clean natural energy that
12:39stays with you throughout the day
12:41so go to drink junee.com forward slash J
12:44and run to your nearest Whole Foods
12:46Market for your free Junee
12:47I can't wait for you to try it cheers
12:50now this principle that I'm about to share
12:54is so necessary
12:56because when we're looking for love
12:58it's usually from a place of desperation
13:01a place of anxiety
13:03a place of stress
13:04maybe you were told
13:05if you're not married by 30
13:06your life's incomplete
13:07if you haven't got kids by 35
13:09that's really late
13:11and now those times play on your
13:13mind and play on your subconscious
13:17your body stressed out
13:18you're feeling anxious
13:20your heart beating fast
13:22I interviewed Quinnland Waltham
13:24who's a relationship coach
13:26and she said you should never go
13:28shopping when you're hungry
13:30and in the same way
13:31you should never go dating when you're starving
13:34when you're feeling like you don't have anything
13:37think about all the decisions you would make if you
13:39went to the grocery store and you were starving
13:41you'd buy everything
13:43it probably wouldn't even be good for you
13:44and you'd probably overbuy
13:46you'd probably overspend
13:48we make mistakes when we come from a place of lack
13:51but then you're saying to me Jay
13:52how am I meant to go full
13:54shopping like how do I do that in love
13:56how am I meant to feel full in love when
13:58I'm looking for someone to love me
14:00how does that make sense
14:021 well
14:02that's where Principle 4 comes in
14:04it's nervous system compatibility
14:07now this might be the most important principle
14:11your nervous system is choosing your
14:13partners before your mind does
14:16according to research from Polyvagal theory
14:20humans are subconsciously drawn to people
14:22whose nervous systems feel familiar
14:26not necessarily healthy
14:28that's why chaos can feel like chemistry
14:32and calm can feel like boring
14:35here's the hard truth
14:37many people aren't attracted to love
14:40they're attracted to what their
14:42nervous system already knows
14:44so manifesting love means retraining
14:47your body to tolerate consistency
14:51predictability and emotional safety
14:55after a date ask yourself
14:57do I feel regulated or dysregulated
15:01calm or anxious
15:03grounded or on edge
15:06love isn't proven by butterflies
15:08it's proven by how your body
15:10feels after the interaction
15:13what's fascinating to me is how
15:15many of us underestimate
15:18how our nervous system is
15:19actually attracting us to someone
15:21if you're always in a fear based state
15:23you're gonna be attracted to
15:24people in a fear based state
15:25because it feels familiar
15:27even though it's not good for you
15:29if you're always in an anxiety based state
15:32you're gonna attract someone who's
15:33in an anxiety based state
15:34or creates more anxiety
15:35because it feels familiar
15:37but it's not good for you
15:38remember you can fall in love with
15:40someone who isn't good for you
15:43because they make your nervous system
15:45feel familiar in the fear and anxiety
15:49until you choose to regulate and
15:51rise above that for yourself
15:54you won't be able to connect with a higher frequency
Principle #5: Standards Versus Defenses
15:57and we get lost right
15:59we think it's all about if I
16:01have everything on the list
16:02if I know exactly what I want
16:04if I'm really aware
16:05that's what we think manifesting love is
16:08but can you notice how far the points I'm
16:10sharing are from that form of manifestation
16:12that's almost like wishful thinking
16:14it's like imagination
16:15it's dream works
16:16but to actually do the work
16:18to actually create shifts in our life
16:20to actually change and upgrade ourselves so that
16:25we actually connect with the right energy
16:26we connect with the right frequency
16:28makes a massive difference
16:30if we're aligned
16:33then we're gonna meet people that are more aligned
16:36and that's not aligned from some
16:37spiritual mental perspective
16:40it comes down to your
16:41regulation of your nervous system
16:43principle 5 is all about standards versus defenses
16:48let's talk about boundaries
16:50research shows that clear
16:51calm boundaries increase relational respect
16:55while defensiveness reduces connection
16:59here's the difference between a
17:00standard and defending yourself
17:03standards say
17:04this is what I value
17:06defense says this is what I'm afraid of defenses push
17:11people away standards invite the right people closer
17:16but here's what's fascinating
17:17we're so scared that we sound like we're defending
17:20ourselves that in the early stages of a relationship
17:23we will lower our standards
17:25we will remove boundaries
17:26we'll let someone walk right over us
17:28because we don't want to push them away
17:30so what do we do
17:31here's how it works
17:33someone ask you to do something
17:34it's breaking a boundary of yours
17:36but you do it anyway
17:38because you think well I like them
17:39they like me
17:40let's just make it work
17:42two months in
17:42three months in
17:43maybe even two years in
17:44sometimes you say
17:45now I need to set this boundary
17:47now that we know each other better
17:48you now set that boundary
17:50and that person goes well
17:51why didn't you set this boundary before
17:53I've never heard this before
17:54I didn't realize that was important to you
17:56we make it out like they're attacking us
17:59so we're defending ourselves
18:00no this one I'm afraid of
18:01no I don't want it to be like this
18:03no I don't
18:03no no no
18:04it's not saying what you value
18:06it's not saying what's important to you
18:08I remember when Radhika and I first started dating
18:10she'd always say to me
18:11it's really important to me that
18:13I'm present with my family
18:15on their birthdays
18:16on Celebration days
18:17on the weekends
18:18like that's really really important to me
18:20and I'd always say to it's really
18:22important to me that I'm doing my service
18:25I'm out there spending time with people
18:27sharing insight
18:28sharing wisdom
18:29I wasn't saying to I'm scared that if I'm
18:31with you I won't get to do that
18:33and she wasn't saying to you I'm scared
18:35if you're doing that
18:36then I won't get to do this
18:38if someone respects you
18:40your boundaries will bring them closer
18:43if someone doesn't respect you
18:45you setting a boundary will push them away
18:48setting a boundary is a great way to know
18:51whether someone truly loves you and
18:54respects you or whether they don't
18:56here's what I want you to remember
18:58manifesting love doesn't mean
19:00lowering standards to avoid loneliness
19:04it means raising self respect
19:06so you don't have to chase
19:08I think when we think about standards and boundaries
19:11we start proclaiming them as no I
19:13won't accept less than this
19:15no this is what I deserve
19:17that's fine for you to feel that
19:18but the way you communicate that to someone
19:21has to be receivable digestible
19:23understandable
19:24sharing something as your value
19:27as your priority
19:28as something that is important to you
19:31is far more valuable than sharing it in a way that
19:35makes someone feel that they have to value it
19:38this is the key
19:40when you share your value
19:43it's not so that the other person
19:45can value it to the same degree
19:47it's so that they can respect your value
19:50and you can continue to prioritize it
19:53your goal in a relationship is not to
19:55convince your partner to value what you value
19:59it's to respect what they value
Four Things to Focus on to Manifest Love
20:01and let them respect what you value and
20:04continue to have a healthy relationship
20:06trying to convince our partners
20:07to have different values
20:10different focuses
20:11different priorities
20:12is a waste of time
20:14and I think one of the biggest reasons
20:16why we struggle to manifest love
20:18is we look at people like a project
20:20we wanna find someone that we can fix solve improve
20:23upgrade that isn't love
20:26that's called work
20:28and love and work are not aligned
20:31you can't manifest love when what you
20:33actually were looking for was a project
20:35someone who dependent on you
20:36someone who made you feel worthy
20:38someone who made you feel
20:39significant because they were so lacking
20:41only for you months in to realize you're
20:44putting in all the energy and the effort
20:46let me leave you with something simple
20:49if you want to manifest romantic love this year
20:53focus on four things
20:56No. 1 regulate your nervous system
20:59there are subconscious parts of ourselves
21:02that are attracting us and connecting us
21:05with other people's subconscious
21:07these are usually the things you only
21:09see when you break up with someone
21:11they usually the things that you only
21:12notice when things finally end
21:15if you think about all your
21:16relationships that didn't work out
21:18and go back to the moment you connected
21:20and think about what state you
21:22were actually in at that time
21:24you'd immediately be able to know that
21:26you weren't ready for a relationship
21:27it wasn't the right relationship
21:29you were looking for the wrong things
21:31you weren't focused and aligned in your nervous system
21:34it didn't feel regulated
21:36and what ends up happening in that position is we
21:38often want the other person to regulate our emotions
21:41to regulate our nervous system for us
21:44which exhausts them
21:45so even if they are the right person
21:47we push them away
21:49because we're asking them to do all of our work
21:52No.2 align your identity with the relationship you want
21:56the stories you tell about your past relationships
21:59the stories you tell about yourself
22:02the stories you tell about your ex

22:26story you tell the most true
22:29so change the story to what you want to be true
22:33your identity and the
22:36relationship you want should be aligned
22:39No. 3 create environments where love can find you
22:43places of similar values
22:45places of mutual friends
22:46places that you go often
22:49don't keep thinking that love's gonna magically appear
22:52in the romantic movie way in the randomest of places
22:56that's less likely to happen
22:58and the more you wait for that
23:00the more you could be missing out on someone who's
23:02ideal for you where you least expect it
23:05because it's where you visit the most
23:07and No. 4 choose safety as intentionally as
23:11chemistry someone who makes you feel safe
23:15is more important than someone
23:17who makes you feel wanted
23:20someone who makes you feel safe is more
23:23important than someone who makes you feel pursued
23:27someone who makes you feel safe
23:29is more important than chemistry or
23:33butterflies or any of those initial experiences
23:37because you want to feel safe
23:38for the rest of your life
23:40you want to be at peace
23:42that's what will last and finally
23:45love doesn't arrive when you think about it enough
23:48it arrives when your life makes room for it
23:52to find love
23:53you don't need to become perfect
23:55you need to become present
23:57because the love you're looking for is
24:00also looking for someone who's ready

24:16understand what to really focus on
24:18when there's so much noise out there and
24:20distracting us away from what really makes a difference
