0:00Hey, what's going on loungers? Welcome
0:02back to the channel. If you're new here,
0:03my name is Mason T and I am a 20 plus
0:05year importer and product developer. But
0:07what that means is that I am a private
0:10labeler, not a reseller. However, it's
0:12because I'm a private labeler so that my
0:14worldviews on how to do eBay is very
0:17different than what most people are. And
0:20today we're going to put that to the
0:21test. And I'm going to show you a video
0:24that I've done about a week ago just to
0:26document the whole process of a
0:29subscriber coming to us for
0:33help. All right, guys. So, as I said
0:35before, if you need help, don't hesitate
0:36to reach out. So, we had one of our
0:39subscribers write to me and then he was
0:41trying to tell me that like, you know,
0:43he's recently been dedicating all of his
0:45energy to listing the rest of his dead
0:47stock and trying to get rid of, you
0:50know, some old listings and stuff like
0:51that. So, I told him to go ahead and
0:54show me like 10 different items and then
0:56maybe I would pick some and then try to
0:58help him out, right? And basically the
1:00idea of this is that uh maybe I could
1:03work my magic on making a better listing
1:05for him and based on all of the edits
1:08and the changes that I made, he could
1:10adjust his whole store accordingly
1:12afterwards. Right? So basically, he's
1:15going to show me 10 items and I'm going
1:17to look through them and I'm going to
1:18pick a couple to see like which ones
1:20that uh I prefer to work with because
1:23there are certain times where there's
1:24going to be items that might be dead in
1:26the water. So, we're just going to go
1:28ahead and document that right now of
1:31what's happening here, right? So, one of
1:33his items is this Ozark Trail hiking
1:36boots, and he sells it for $2250 at $15.
1:40It's really not that important what the
1:42price is that he's selling it for. You
1:43just got to know that all of these items
1:45is what he is currently stuck with and
1:47we got to do our best to try to get rid
1:49of this item to recoup as much of our
1:51money uh back as possible because these
1:53are items that basically just didn't
1:55sell for a very long time. So, this next
1:58one is like this Lane 8 men's relay
2:00trainer. Now, keep in mind that I'm not
2:02a reseller, so I'm normally not used to
2:04working with items like this, but still,
2:07you know, when you are dealing with
2:09tangible goods online, there are still
2:11certain formats that you need to follow
2:14in order to make a good listing, right?
2:16You need both a uh an item that is in
2:19decent demand, that is SEOfriendly at a
2:22reasonable price, plus you need to make
2:24a good listing. So, it's a lot of
2:26elements that we have to put together in
2:27order to get rid of this. So, the next
2:29one is this uh Zebra yoga mat over here.
2:32Uh I don't really like this item that
2:34much because they don't have one that's
2:36open, right? And you kind of just only
2:39have this one item here and you don't
2:40have other photos of it and you don't
2:42want to open this one just for the sake
2:44of selling it because you know it it the
2:47you just have one copy of this thing.
2:49So, uh the next one is this sports bra
2:52and then this sports bra and then this
2:53sports bra. And I'm probably not going
2:55to work with either one of these three
2:58mainly because he doesn't have any
3:00really flattering photos for any one of
3:03these. Right? So then they become very
3:05difficult to sell because you know
3:07you're selling it as a oneoff seller.
3:10Okay? This becomes very difficult to
3:12work with the sunglasses. He's got this
3:14one and then this shirt. I'm probably
3:16going to pass on this shirt too because
3:18it's just super wrinkly and again it
3:20doesn't look flattering at all. So, it's
3:22very difficult to say, you know, let's
3:24do some keywords, let's do some pricing,
3:26let's do some whatever, when the shirt
3:29itself, you know, it looks like an
3:31instant pass at a glance, you know what
3:34I mean? If um the lighting for some of
3:36this stuff over here, like this one is
3:38very white, then this one looks a little
3:40bit off-white. So, when these photos are
3:43right next to each other, this is, you
3:45know, again, it's it's it's it's
3:47off-putting. Even though the original
3:49tag over here is like $68, right? Yeah.
3:51Maybe $68, you know, in retail talbett
3:55in the mall, but like, you know, once
3:58it's out here, then the price is going
4:00to go way way down. As far as his
4:02vintage sunglasses and stuff, this one
4:04says two sold, and then uh this one he
4:07hasn't sold any, but this one also says
4:09one sold. So, this kind of tells me that
4:11like, okay, this is an item that's
4:13taking a really long time to sell and
4:16therefore, uh, just leave it alone
4:18because probably more time goes by.
4:20Just, you know, it is what it is. He's
4:22only got quantity, like one piece left.
4:24He's only got quantity, one piece left
4:25over here. So, you know, we're we're
4:28probably not going to exert too much
4:29energy into that. So, basically, uh,
4:32this one I'm going to omit. This one,
4:34omit this one. Omit. And then we're
4:36going to forget about the sunglasses.
4:38the uh Talbuts, you know, sleeveless
4:40over here. Probably gonna get rid of
4:42that one, too, because, you know, the
4:44photos itself, it just just make you not
4:48want to buy the item if anything, right?
4:50While over here, this is um h it's not
4:54great, but it doesn't scream, you know,
4:58nightmare either, right? Uh these are
5:00actually pretty decent photos for a
5:03one-off seller. It's not super
5:04professional, but you know, it's it's
5:06it's off of a white black background,
5:08right? And it's very clean. Uh the same
5:10idea with this boot over here. But I do
5:13want to show you guys uh exactly, you
5:16know, how long this item has been
5:18around, right? So, when I click on view
5:20all revisions over here, this has been
5:22around since October 2024. The uh
5:25trainers, the um the sneakers over here,
5:28this one has been around since July
5:302024. And then this one, the yoga mat
5:34has been up for a while as well, right?
5:36So, August 2024, right? So, the sneakers
5:39in July, the the the yoga mat in August
5:42and then the uh the Ozark trail hiking
5:46boots since October, right? And uh yeah,
5:50I'm going to go ahead and rework these
5:52things. Basically, what I did is that I
5:55sent him a um an email back to ask him,
5:59uh, could you tell me the stats behind
6:01these things, right? Meaning that in the
6:03past 30 days, how many views have you
6:05gotten on these items? Because that way
6:07I have a good idea of what the problem
6:09is, right? is the problem basically
6:12because he's not getting any views. So,
6:14there's something wrong with the listing
6:15or he's just not getting any views at
6:17all. So, you know, there's a visibility
6:20issue with the listing as opposed to
6:22having red flags in the listing. You
6:24know, this basically gives me uh my
6:27bearings on, you know, which direction
6:29to adjust it. So, uh, once he hits me
6:32back with that email and then I have
6:33that information, then I will try to fix
6:36these listings accordingly and then
6:38we'll let you know exactly what happens
6:40later on. So, if at any time you're also
6:42looking for help in any way, you can
6:44always come over to the Pegasus Lounge
6:46main page over here and then click on
6:48the more button as well as the view
6:50email address over here. And then when
6:52you click on this, it'll ask you to
6:53confirm that you are not a robot and
6:55then you will see my contact information
6:57over here so that you can leave us an
6:58email directly. All right, on to the
7:00show. I'm going to give you now a little
7:02bit of the backend process I put
7:04together. This is on Google Docs, but of
7:06of course on Google Docs, you could
7:07always transfer this out to a PDF form,
7:10and that's what I emailed over. So, this
7:12is what I created, and uh this is all
7:15the casemy's like listings and the
7:17information and stuff. So, basically
7:19what I'm showing here is that this was
7:20the original title and the original eBay
7:23listing that he had. right now. He
7:26wasn't supposed to end the listings and
7:29then start over again. Okay, I didn't
7:31expect that to happen. I was hoping that
7:32he would just revise the listing, but
7:34you know what? It works out better that
7:37way, right? Because honestly, uh then we
7:39get to see the difference in the view
7:41results because the view counter is now
7:44set uh back to zero. So, originally the
7:47title was the Ozark Trail hiking boots
7:49and stuff like that. And I wanted to
7:51give a reason why I wanted to switch up
7:53the title. it is because it is
7:54essentially just a Walmart item. So,
7:57it's very accessible everywhere. So,
7:59rather than selling it as Ozark Trail,
8:01etc., etc., right? Let's just make it
8:03like men's work boots construction boot
8:06because for this particular item, it is
8:08a very straightforward run-of-the-mill,
8:10you know, yellow brown top construction
8:13boot, right? So, I just went with that
8:15because that way it generalizes the
8:18title to a much wider audience. On top
8:21of this, we're going to give it a more
8:23aggressive pricing strategy. So, I
8:25changed this pricing strategy to what it
8:27was before with the two $22 plus uh $15
8:31shipping and handling over to our new
8:33strategy over here, which is $40 even
8:36with free shipping as well as 12.5%
8:40promoted ad fee. Okay? And this is the
8:42only way we're going to get more
8:44eyeballs on this. So, the the view
8:46counts of this thing was about 23 at the
8:49time. Okay, so he had 23 views over the
8:52course of 30 days, right? So if we go
8:56check out what I did for him over here,
8:58I also included all this HTML work as as
9:01well. Okay, because I think it's very
9:03important that we do some mobile
9:05friendly HTML data for him. The thing is
9:08this, right? In the old days, there was,
9:10you know, websites like Octiva and then
9:13other types of template style, you know,
9:15auction uh stuff, right? that you know
9:18you plug in your um item information and
9:21stuff like that and then it'll create a
9:22nicel looking listing for you. However,
9:24those were the old days. Now, a lot of
9:27people are shopping on mobile. In fact,
9:29you know, depending on your category,
9:31you could have as high as 47% of your
9:33customers actually shopping on mobile
9:35all the way to 60% of your customers
9:37shopping on mobile. So having a mobile
9:39friendly HTML description or whatever is
9:43actually kind of important, but if we're
9:45going to do that, you got to be very
9:47mindful that people are on mobile. So
9:49when you make it, you want to make it as
9:51simple as possible, as straightforward
9:53as possible. Cut all of the fluff and
9:55make it load very quickly. So I'm going
9:57to show you over here that this is his
10:00item now, right? And it says 23 viewed
10:02in the last 24 hours. So, I helped him
10:05out last night at somewhere around uh 6
10:09or 700 p.m. my time, right? Uh o over in
10:13Pacific. And then uh this is right now.
10:17Uh I'm recording this at 2:00 p.m. Okay.
10:20So, you know, uh add propagation time,
10:23add whatever. So, not even 24 hours.
10:25Currently, this thing says 23 viewed in
10:28the last 24 hours. All right. And then
10:30what I wanted to show you is that this
10:32is the rework that I did for him. Right?
10:35So if you saw, you know, before what his
10:37listing looked like, it was just
10:39regular, you know, just text and stuff
10:41like that. But now we changed it to
10:42this. Now, I'm going to say right now
10:45that this listing, the description is
10:47very plain and it doesn't even look very
10:49good, right? But if we hit F12 over here
10:52so that we switch over to the developer
10:54view, right? uh if you toggle this
10:57button, this will toggle between, you
10:58know, desktop view and then over to uh
11:01the the the mobile view, but sometimes
11:04when you toggle over it, it it it messes
11:06up a little bit. So, let me just hit
11:08refresh real quick. Okay, so we're back
11:10to this right now. We're in the mobile
11:12view over here. And then over here on
11:14top, you could select like iPhone XE,
11:16XR, you know, iPhone 14 Pro Max, etc.,
11:19etc. So, I just have it left on iPhone
11:2114 Pro Max. Okay. And then from here, I
11:24think what we're going to do is that
11:25we're going to click see full
11:27description. And then when it pops up
11:28like this, this is what the listing
11:31looks like now. So it's very clean. You
11:33see what I'm saying? So men's tan
11:35construction work boots. And then, you
11:37know, size 11 12 and 12, you know, etc.
11:40And then over here, I put like, you
11:42know, the whole Ozark trail or whatever,
11:44right? And then this is the boot from
11:46the side shot, the back shot, and then
11:48what the uh the bottom looks like. So
11:50you don't want to do too many photos.
11:52You don't want to do too few photos
11:53either, right? Because you'll lose the
11:55customer that way. But too many photos
11:56is no good as well, you know, because of
11:59the load time. See what I'm saying? So,
12:01now we have some features and benefits.
12:02I give him just a couple of bullet
12:04points so that they're clean, they're
12:05clear to to the point, as well as his uh
12:09you know, uh his his terms and
12:11conditions, right? So, the returns, the
12:13shipping, the disclaimer of that, you
12:15know, there's still a lot of people out
12:16there that don't understand that there's
12:18no shipping or mail on Thursdays on
12:22Sundays when it comes to USPS. You know
12:24what I mean? So, you'd be surprised. So,
12:25I left that in there for him as well.
12:27Okay. So, the point is is that like I
12:29reworked this whole, you know,
12:33uh listing for him, right? And now it
12:36says, oh, as we uh updated it, right?
12:38Now, it went from 23 viewed in the past
12:4124 hours to 25 views. And if I show you
12:44over here on the back end, he used to
12:46have 23 views for the whole 30 days. So
12:49now I just got him 25 views in the past
12:5224 less than 24 hours. Okay. Uh the next
12:56item that we're going to talk about is
12:58the the trainers, right? The uh the
13:00hibiscus red trainers and stuff. Okay.
13:03So originally his title was this one
13:05over here and then I switched it over to
13:07this. So why did I do this? Because this
13:10is a value enhanced type of title.
13:13Different products, different strategies
13:15and stuff. Again, like you know, people
13:18put out videos, right? But ultimately, a
13:20lot of the videos that we put out, uh,
13:23it could only be general information. It
13:25could only be general suggestions.
13:26Without knowing you, without knowing
13:28your product, without knowing some of
13:29your backend and talking to you
13:31one-on-one, right? we can't provide true
13:34mentorship because it's just not
13:36tailored to your business, right? I
13:38don't know what the product is that
13:39you're talking about. But now I do get
13:41to know this. So now I can study this
13:43and then I could think to myself, all
13:44right, this would be the better strategy
13:46to go with, right? So we changed it up
13:49so that it still says, you know, lane 8
13:51uh uh you know, replay trainer and then
13:54limited edition sneakers, hibiscus red,
13:57and then I put 150 MSRP new. Okay, so
14:00before a lot of people would like to
14:03type in NWT, like new with tags. Like I
14:06remember he had one over here, right?
14:08When he did the yoga mat, he put NWT,
14:10new with tags. Okay, I'm just going to
14:13go ahead and say most people know what
14:15NWT is, but I'm also willing to bet that
14:18not 100% people know what NWT is, but
14:20100% of people know what new means,
14:23right? There's no way you don't
14:24understand what new means. So, I think
14:26it's better to use the word new than to
14:28use NWT. Even though most people
14:30understand what NWT is, it's just new is
14:33a little bit better. You know what I
14:34mean? It it it cuts through the fluff
14:36straight to the point. Because if we're
14:38running on the full principle, right, of
14:41transparency in order to sell things
14:43better, which is the same idea of why
14:45we're doing free shipping. When you
14:48think about free shipping, right, why is
14:49that more transparent? Because people
14:51don't have to do the math in their head.
14:53So, I get the full price. Is this the
14:55bottom prices? Is this the final price
14:57that I'm going to pay? Of course, he's
14:59going to be paying, you know, regular
15:01Uncle Sam taxes, but that's expected,
15:03right? That Uncle Sam gets all of us,
15:05right? That's completely different. But
15:07as far as the base price is concerned,
15:09there's no more hidden charges. There's
15:10no shipping on top of it. There's no
15:12anything else. I don't have to calculate
15:13funky numbers
15:15of8.25 plus 37.50, etc., etc., right?
15:18It's just going to be straight out flat
15:20$40, $50, $60. People like seeing those
15:23kinds of numbers, right? So, in the old
15:25days of, you know, the whole like
15:27$29.99,
15:29$39.99, you know what I mean? It it's
15:31it's not as effective as it used to be.
15:34Even though some people want to swear by
15:36it, but it's really not as effective as
15:38it used to be, right? If you were behind
15:39somebody, you know, with your shopping
15:41cart and you asked your friend like,
15:42"Hey, how how much is that over there?"
15:44Right? And the price said $99 $9.99,
15:47right? Is he going to really say $9.99
15:49or is he also going to say $10? And you
15:51would feel the exact same thing. People
15:53aren't really fooled by that as much
15:55anymore. I don't think so. So, we just
15:57went with a straight $60 pricing
16:00strategy on this, right? So, when you
16:01see what he had before, it was $54 plus
16:048.25 shipping, right? And then that
16:06comes out to 62.25. So, we changed the
16:09pricing strategy now to $60 with 15%
16:12promoted ad and then also free ship. So,
16:15it's clean, it's transparent, and then
16:16there's a lot of ad fee put into it.
16:19Now, you're going to say, "Wow, Peg,
16:21that was really high ad feed, right?"
16:23Absolutely, because this is an exit
16:25strategy that we're doing. This is not a
16:27fresh, brand new haul. Okay? So, keep
16:30that in mind. This guy, as I showed you
16:32before, he was stuck with this item. One
16:34in January, one in August, and one in
16:36October. So, we're trying to recoup our
16:38losses here, get our money back, not
16:41have our money stuck in inventory
16:43anymore, so that we could go out and do
16:45other things with it. We are losing so
16:47much money on opportunity cost by having
16:50our money stuck in this inventory that
16:52this is so much of a better idea to just
16:54go with this route instead. Get your
16:57money back. That's what's very very
16:59important so that you could do more
17:00things. You could be on to the next sale
17:02and the next sale and the next sale that
17:04could be profitable rather than just
17:06have your money sit there. Okay. So,
17:09when you think of what's happening right
17:10here, right, a lot of people like to
17:13say, "Look, eBay is so greedy. They're
17:16already charging me so much on
17:18commissions or whatever based on my
17:19category, yada yada yada, and now I have
17:22to promote my item, so they're being
17:24even more greedy, etc., etc." Right?
17:27Okay, that is one world view to look at
17:29stuff. I am a private labeler. I don't
17:32see the world that way. Okay, here's how
17:34I see it. Ah, okay. So, there's going to
17:38be something called a sponsored ad,
17:41right? And then this gives me a chance
17:43to partner with eBay because you know
17:46how people always say that like, oh, if
17:48there's more tariffs, if there's more
17:50taxes or if there's inflation or
17:52something like that, then sellers and
17:55other business people, they're just
17:56going to charge it back to the customer.
17:59Correct. You are absolutely correct. You
18:02are a seller. You are a business owner.
18:04Why are you not charging it back to the
18:06customer? And that is exactly the
18:08situation right now. So many times it is
18:10better to round up whatever your price
18:13is, right? If you're selling it at $55,
18:15maybe we should sell it at $60 instead
18:18of lowering the price and then just
18:19added more promoted rate to it in order
18:22to get rid of this item. When you think
18:24of like different kinds of heat maps and
18:25Neielson reports and stuff like that, uh
18:27I'll do a whole episode on that some
18:29other time, right? But the idea is that
18:32most people I can't tell you if it's 55
18:3545 or if it's 7030, right? But the
18:38answer is that most people who who are
18:41searching stuff and buying things with a
18:44purpose are buying things within the
18:46first page of stuff. Okay? Sometimes the
18:48second page, few categories up to three
18:51pages, but most people experience
18:53shoppers fatigue. It's instantly. Okay?
18:56And only people who are doing stuff
18:58like, you know, um, collectibles and
19:01stuff like that where they have the
19:02disposable income to shop by, hey, let
19:05me see what's newly listed because I
19:07just want to buy something, right? I
19:09want to see if there's something cool
19:10out there. Versus people who are like,
19:12look, I just want a pair of lane eights.
19:15I just want a pair of work boots. I'm
19:17looking for some yoga mats. You know
19:19what I mean? They're more shopping with
19:20purpose. And people who are shopping
19:22with purpose are not going into page
19:24four, page five, page six. You're pretty
19:27much going to lose them at page two. So,
19:29we need to be on page one in order to
19:31get rid of this item. So, when you have
19:33a brand new fresh hall, right, you don't
19:35know if you already have very good
19:38organic traffic to the point where
19:39you're going to sell an item already,
19:42right? When you think of exactly how
19:43items sell, basically, you need a
19:46certain amount of views before you get
19:48the sale, right? So, put it this way.
19:50Nobody has ever sold anything more than
19:53they've achieved views. You always have
19:55to get more views than you get sales,
19:57right? And pretty much no one's going to
19:59get one sale per view. That means like
20:01everybody who sees it immediately wants
20:03it. Like you know what? Are you selling
20:04drugs? And it can't be, right? Okay. So
20:07I kid there. But the point is that when
20:11you are selling things, right? Let's say
20:13your item requires about a hundred views
20:16before it sells and you are only getting
20:1920 views every single month because of
20:21the way your listing is set up. Well,
20:23that's going to suggest that you're
20:25probably not going to make the sale
20:26until 5 months later. Five times 20
20:29views, 100 views, my customer finally
20:32came around and then I sold the item,
20:34right? as opposed to if this thing was
20:36getting a 100red views every single day
20:39on a different site or you adjusted it
20:42somehow with aggressive pricing
20:44strategies and better photos and better
20:46HTML and different way of um connecting
20:51with the uh search engagement by
20:54changing up the title more right now
20:56you're getting you know 50 views a day
20:58100 views a day right now you're selling
21:00one every day or every other day versus
21:03waiting 5 months for, right? So, the
21:06whole numbers game is going to grant,
21:08you know, more traction based on like
21:09how many views that you get. So, having
21:12that visibility is incredibly crucial,
21:15right? So, if you are a reseller and
21:17it's just a oneoff item, okay, and you
21:20guys are already used to sitting on
21:22stuff for a little while or whatever,
21:23then definitely in the beginning, I
21:25would recommend let me just see if I get
21:27any organic traffic to begin with,
21:29right? If I get decent organic traffic,
21:31then maybe I don't have to give up any
21:33sponsored ads or anything like that. But
21:35then after a little while, we need an
21:37exit strategy. So what I'm teaching you
21:39guys and what I'm helping, you know,
21:41Case Academy with today, right, is an
21:44exit strategy. Okay? So when we go back
21:47to the trainers over here, we see that
21:48look, I got 31 views in the last 24
21:51hours. If I show you the back end over
21:54here, right, which is what we started
21:55with the uh views that he had, he only
21:58had 15 views in 30 days. I just got him
22:0231 views in under the 24 hours by
22:05changing things up. See what I did over
22:08here, right, is for the lane a traders
22:10and stuff like I put limited edition,
22:11$150 MSRP, new, etc., etc., right? So, I
22:15didn't do like this whole, you know,
22:18trying to trying to uh trick people with
22:21like this mark up to mark down nonsense
22:23or whatever. I just leave it that like,
22:25hey, this is what it was and uh we're
22:27just going to give you a no fluff. You
22:29know, this is this is the the new deal
22:30right now. Okay. And uh let's refresh
22:33this. Let's let's see how many views we
22:34have actually. So, right. So, we got two
22:37extra views, right? From the time of
22:39doing this video right now, it was at
22:4031. You just saw it increase to 33 over
22:43here. So, the next one is going to be
22:45the uh yoga mat, right? So, the yoga mat
22:49I also did, you know, an HTML. I did a
22:51HTML for for all three of them, right?
22:53And if you want to see what the yoga mat
22:55looks like, let let me see. Can we F12
22:57over here? And then we scroll down a
22:59little bit like this. Ah, here we go.
23:01So, TZ, Zebra. So, I actually even had
23:04to do a little die for this one. And it
23:06turns out TZ actually has a pretty good
23:08following in the Pilates world. I
23:10wouldn't know. I don't do Pilates and
23:12nor am I my reseller. But the point is
23:15that uh I set up this one over here. So,
23:17brand new, factory sealed. And remember
23:19what I said before, I didn't like it
23:20because, you know, it wasn't like
23:22unrolled so that you could see the whole
23:24thing and he didn't have a photo for it.
23:26So, the only thing that I could
23:27highlight over here is that this mat is
23:29usually sold at $100 and then I just put
23:32the deal MSRP $100, your price $50 on
23:35this and then hopefully people take it
23:37as is. So, what was the aggressive
23:40pricing strategy on this one? Right, we
23:42put it at $50 and then 20% strategy on
23:46this one. Okay, because I'm just going
23:48to give eBay $10 to go in cahoots with
23:51them to get rid of this item and let's
23:53just get our money back. Okay, so after
23:56the free shipping, after losing 10 bucks
23:58to, you know what I mean? I think we
23:59still can get back somewhere around like
24:01a good $25 on this, right? I don't know
24:04how much he originally paid for this. As
24:06long as he paid less than $25, then if
24:09anything, I probably made him some money
24:11as well. Okay, but the point is is that
24:13we want to get rid of this thing already
24:16and not have our money constantly tied
24:19up in inventory. So, this was uh 19,
24:21right? Did I already refresh it? Right.
24:23Okay. So, 21 viewed in the last 24 hours
24:27now, right? Versus before, he only had
24:3013 views in the past 30 days for this
24:34item. Okay. So yeah guys uh ultimately I
24:39you know um uh I put this little you
24:42know PDF right document for him and then
24:45I sent it over to him and uh right now
24:48he's trying to learn from this back end
24:50and the adjustments that I made as well
24:54as some of the uh the the explanations
24:56that I gave and stuff that I've also
24:58included in this video. and he's trying
25:00to uh adjust his backend right now with
25:03all of his other listings to try to
25:05reflect this in order to get more views
25:07because the more views you get, the more
25:09chance of you're able to sell something.
25:12So, yeah, guys, uh one last look. It was
25:14these uh the boots, these uh trainers,
25:17and this uh yoga mat. So, let's come
25:20back up to the top. Okay, so guys, uh
25:22full disclosure, this is my first crack
25:24at trying to sell some reseller items.
25:28Okay, I don't understand the reseller
25:30market. I wouldn't personally do
25:32reselling. I am a private labeler. And
25:35basically what I did right here, right,
25:37the actions that I took is because my
25:39worldview is completely different
25:41because I operate in the upper echelons
25:44of what e-commerce is. So to tell me to
25:46come back and then do some reselling or
25:48whatever, I'm not going to personally do
25:50reselling. But if you showed me your
25:51reselling, you know, listings and stuff
25:53like that, right, I'll adjust it for you
25:55the best way that I see fit. And right
25:57now we are seeing results. Uh I think I
26:00will do a follow-up video to finally see
26:02like you know if these items eventually
26:05sold and how much that they sold for and
26:08as well as um you know what was the
26:10final view count before they finally
26:13sold. You know what I mean? And uh I
26:15think we're going to do a shop class
26:17where I'm going to help you out
26:18specifically on doing the reselling
26:21stuff. And I believe that one is going
26:23to be just a uh a title of advanced
26:26reselling, right? Uh version 1.5, right?
26:29Because when you think about exactly
26:30what reselling is, it is level one of
26:33e-commerce. And the reason why is
26:36because how do they tell you to begin?
26:37Grab some stuff from home and then just
26:39start selling. So it doesn't even get
26:41more specific like like simplistic than
26:44that, right? Uh once you sold a couple
26:46of items from home, what do you do? you
26:48go out to a thrift store or like a
26:50discount store like a Savers or
26:52something and then you get more stuff
26:53and then you sell those things. You're
26:54not importing anything. You're not
26:56dealing with any manufacturers or
26:58whatever. So, the complexity is down to
27:00a minimum. You're just doing something
27:02yourself with a couple of bucks in your
27:04pocket, right? A lot of times these
27:06reseller gurus are going to say like,
27:08"Hey, reselling absolutely works." It
27:11does absolutely work, but I feel as if
27:13like that's not the main question that
27:16we should be asking. The main question
27:18is not about whether or not reselling is
27:21functional, but rather is reselling
27:23optimal. Okay. So, uh, we're going to do
27:26a shop class Sunday where I'm going to
27:28take all of the business structures and
27:31strategies from private labeling and
27:34apply it to reselling so that I can cut
27:38the fat and try to buff up like exactly
27:41what reselling is so that, you know, it
27:43becomes a little bit more efficient. But
27:45make no mistake at ultimately at the end
27:47of the day, reselling is still an
27:48incredibly fatty piece of meat that is
27:51very, very inefficient and it needs a
27:53lot of rework. If anything, it requires
27:56you to level up in order to get all of
27:58the kinks and all of the issues out of
28:00what reselling is into a proper
28:03legitimate business. Anyways guys, that
28:05is the video. I hope you enjoyed it. If
28:07you did, please give it a like and if
28:09you learned something, please consider
28:10subscribing. As always, I'll see you
28:12guys in the next. Take care.
