0:25amen Mark chapter number 9 verse number
0:2723 says this and Jesus Jesus said to
0:31him if you
0:33can all things are
0:35possible for one who believes let's try
0:40that one more time and Jesus said to him
0:41if you can all things are possible for
0:44one who believes immediately the father
0:48of the child cried out and said well I
0:51do believe but could you uh help my
0:57unbelief immediately the father of the
0:59child cried out and said to Jesus that
1:02is I do
1:04believe help my
1:07unbelief didn't get to conclude the
1:09matter last week so we're going to try
1:11again this
1:12week on your way down to your seat just
1:15repeat after me and say you better
1:16believe you better believe and have a SE
1:19part two though that that's part
1:22two family I thought came to me while I
1:24Was preparing for this me and three
1:27series and thinking on how important it
1:29is for us uh to navigate through this
1:32year I started thinking on how important
1:34it is to have Clarity concerning what we
1:38will pursue what we'll Chase and and
1:41even what we'll conquer because often in
1:44our attempt to get things done we do one
1:47of two things we either watch this we
1:48either do too much or we don't do
1:53enough all right so in our attempt to
1:56get things done in any particular
1:58particular year here we either do one or
2:01two things we either do too much or we
2:02don't do enough watch this I love this
2:05this this messed me up and I love my
2:07church because my church is a thinking
2:09church so I'm getting ready to drop
2:10something on you that I think it's dope
2:11it's not on the screen but I want you to
2:12catch this
2:14unhappiness is not knowing what I want
2:18and killing ourselves to go get
2:23it unhappiness is not knowing what I
2:26want and killing myself to go get it in
2:30essence that this this thought is
2:31communicating the idea that when we
2:33don't know exactly what we want in life
2:35we will kill ourselves doing things that
2:37we think will serve us but ultimately
2:40will suffocate us let me make it plain
2:43we will end up unsatisfied if our
2:46successes can't be
2:50Quantified we'll end up unsatisfied if
2:52our success cannot be Quantified because
2:55success stay with me for a moment is in
2:58let me say like this success isn't an
3:01accumulation of
3:03accoutrements it's not just about stuff
3:06success isn't a dollar amount success
3:09isn't a position at the job success
3:11isn't simply living in a nice
3:13neighborhood success isn't merely a
3:16million plus followers on social media
3:18success isn't simply a three car garage
3:22watch this success is not the belongings
3:25you've gathered but the person you've
3:27become
3:30I'm preaching better than y'all saying
3:31amen I said success is not the
3:35belongings you've gathered but the
3:38person you have become and I'm convinced
3:41that most people began their year with a
3:44resolution about things that they want
3:47to get accomplished and that's cool or
3:49achievements that they want to conquer
3:51and that's all right or the amount of
3:53money that they want to save or the
3:55amount of pounds that we want to lose
3:57and all of that's good and all of that
3:59is important but but success will not be
4:01determined merely by what you do but who
4:04you
4:07become so if I'm going to be a better me
4:10in three I don't just need a Le a list
4:13of things to do I need to develop the
4:16characteristics of the person I need to
4:19become I know you have a list I know you
4:22have a to-do list but do you have a
4:25become list
4:30I know we have a to-do list but do we
4:34have a become list that's extremely
4:38important because if we do apart from
4:41becoming what we do will ENT eventually
4:44fade
4:46off right so if my new I'm just y'all
4:49y'all all right y'all rolling with
4:51me if my New Year's resolution is to
4:53finish the degree or scale the business
4:55or become more of a fit person or become
4:57more profitable to get more clients and
4:59and and while you can start there that
5:02that's doing the thing there's nothing
5:03wrong with doing the
5:05thing you can start doing the thing but
5:07the goal is not simply to do the thing
5:10but to become the person that does the
5:12thing did you hear what I just said it's
5:15not simply to do the thing it's to
5:18become the person the type of person
5:20that does the thing all right uh uh um
5:23okay all right
5:26uh okay it's not simply to do the thing
5:28but to become the of person that does
5:30the thing so it's not simply to lose 15
5:34pounds that that's a goal and there's
5:36nothing wrong with that that's a
5:37beautiful thing cool I love it you love
5:39it I love it but it's not simply to lose
5:41weight it's to embrace a healthier
5:46lifestyle because if you only want to do
5:48the thing once you get the thing you're
5:51going to be left with the person you
5:52became chasing after the thing and that
5:55person may or may not be as disciplined
5:57as needed for the next thing
6:02it it's not simply to to grow my
6:05business to to to be more profitable
6:07that's cool nothing wrong with that
6:10amen
6:12amen but also on your journey to become
6:16more profitable what kind of person are
6:18you
6:19becoming are you leaving dead bodies
6:22behind you as you climb the corporate
6:25ladder does anybody like you just just
6:28just
6:30it's just right there just do you have a
6:35friend I know you have funds but do you
6:39have a
6:40friend do do people stick around with
6:43you long
6:49term all right I said long term yes some
6:53people got new friends every week I'm
6:54talking about long term you just have at
6:56least one friend that's been rolling
6:57with you amen
7:01so so I don't just want to do the thing
7:02but I want to become the type of person
7:03that does the thing the question is do
7:05you believe you can be the person not
7:09just do the
7:11thing do you believe that you can be
7:14that person what if I told you that the
7:16only thing that's stopping you from
7:17being the person that God is calling you
7:19to be um or let me say like this what if
7:21I told you that the only thing that that
7:23stopping you from being the person that
7:25God is calling you um to be is the story
7:30you tell
7:32yourself the only thing that's stopping
7:35us from becoming the person that God is
7:38calling for us to become is the story
7:40that we tell
7:42ourselves why because our words have
7:46weight and you talk to yourself more
7:49than anybody talks to
7:53you oh God you you the words that you
7:56say to yourself are echoing in your body
8:03somewhere the the the the story that you
8:06that you that that you and I tell
8:09ourselves are reverberating inside of
8:12our
8:14subconscious y'all was here last
8:16week so so often times what God has to
8:19do is God goes throughout scripture I'll
8:21get to the Bible in a minute trust me
8:23God goes throughout scripture and he's
8:25consistently and constantly reminding us
8:28of who he thinks we are why why does God
8:32take such intention on saying the same
8:34things over and over and over and all
8:37throughout scripture he's given us
8:38example he's given us illustrations he's
8:41given us all of these stories just to
8:42iterate and reiterate to us who it is
8:45that he says that we are because he
8:47understands that even in the absence of
8:49us hearing God's voice we'll believe our
8:51own
8:53yeah so what does God have to do with
8:56what God does is he consistently calls
8:58us things that that that we know but
9:00need to be reminded of because he's
9:02trying to drown out the voices that we
9:05have rolling in our minds he tells us
9:08that we are the light of the world he
9:09says that we are salt of the earth he
9:12says that we are City on the hill he
9:14says we are loved he says we are
9:17redeemed he says we are an overcomer he
9:19says that we are chosen he says that we
9:22are friend he says that we are joint HS
9:25he says that we are forgiven he says
9:27that we are delivered he says that we're
9:30above he says we're
9:33not why does God consistently remind us
9:36of that he's not reminding us because he
9:40needs a
9:42reminder he's reminding us because we
9:45need a
9:46reminder that's why I go to
9:50church I know it feel like I just turned
9:52the corner the
9:54reason I go to church is because I need
9:58a reminder
10:00of who God says I am I need a reminder
10:03of what God word says about my life
10:06because I'm going to find myself in this
10:09journey called life in a season that
10:11looks completely counter to what God is
10:14calling me to and when I hit a season oh
10:17Jesus when I hit a season of storms when
10:21I hit a season of Trials I got to be
10:24able to go back to God's word and
10:27remember that I am above and not
10:30beneath because there's going I feel
10:32like preaching in here already there's
10:34going to be seasons of your life where
10:37people start peopling and friends will
10:40leave you you need to know that you have
10:42a friend that sticks closer than a
10:44brother you need to know that God says
10:46that you are healed you need to know
10:49that God says you are delivered you need
10:52the
10:54is that's why I go to church I I I I
10:58don't need to go to church to get beat
10:59up I can do that
11:01myself I can do that just me in the room
11:03just
11:04me I don't need any help telling myself
11:08who I'm
11:10not I I need something to remind me of
11:13who I am I need to hear shout if you
11:16believe it I can do all things I need to
11:19hear it's working for the good I need to
11:22hear many are the afflictions of the
11:25righteous but the Lord shall deliver
11:28them out of them all I need to hear
11:30greater is he that's on the inside I
11:32feel like preaching on the inside of me
11:34I need to hear that I am chosen that
11:37means that when I find
11:39myself in some stinking
11:42thinking I need something that'll reach
11:44down and pull me up out of that push
11:47somebody and say I need to hear it just
11:49push every now and then just tell me
11:51something good I
11:53just here's where I turn the corner
11:56because whatever you believe you got to
11:58back it up with behavior though
12:04I believe
12:10it I know you believe it but whatever
12:13you really believe you back up with
12:17behavior see wow see just hold on to
12:20that I'm challeng I know this going to
12:22run counter to what we've all what we
12:25thought what you really believe you back
12:28it up with behavior
12:30now let me make an extreme example but a
12:31real one if I really believe don't leave
12:34the church y'all lock the door if I
12:36really believe watch this that there is
12:39a burning
12:42hell get them together that has not been
12:45made for
12:48us but we will qualify ourselves for
12:52it if I really
12:55believe are y'all all
12:57right that that sin is What Separates Me
13:01from
13:02God and that if I make a practice of sin
13:06I position myself I qualify myself for
13:10an environment that God never created
13:12for me now do you believe it don't
13:22answer yall all right I love
13:25y'all this because my belief
13:30must be backed up with
13:33behavior belief can act like medicine to
13:37the
13:39mind if you can get your mind out you
13:41can get your life
13:43out if you can get your mind out you can
13:45get your life out that's why much of the
13:48enemy's attack is happening here in our
13:51mind because our mind is a field and the
13:54seeds that we sew into the soil of our
13:56mind will determine the Harvest that we
13:58see in our lives

14:06lives so the enemy says I got to get you
14:08here
14:11first because your mind tell your body
14:14what to
14:16do oh
14:18boyy I'm just keep going past that they
14:22just told me just go skip that P so me
14:24and three what does that got to do with
14:25me and three I'm glad you asked takes
14:27three weeks 21 days to build a habit
14:30three months to build it into your
14:31lifestyle three years to birth that
14:33belief into others to do the same
14:36three three three what do we want to do
14:39we want to start this year focused on
14:41who we want to become last week we dealt
14:44with we dealt with with some of the
14:46things that's happening that the some of
14:48the soundtrack that's running that's
14:50influencing our
14:52mind we we we want to deal with becoming
14:55the type of person we're talking about
14:56the
14:57behavior right because doesn't matter
14:59matter what the resolution is I'm not
15:00mad at whatever your resolution is cool
15:02but it doesn't matter if you don't
15:04become the type of person that
15:06accomplishes that
15:08resolution I don't just I I I don't
15:11there's a difference between I want to
15:12read 10 books this year then and I want
15:17to become a
15:18reader you see the
15:20difference because you can read 10 six
15:23page
15:25ebooks you could or I want to become a I
15:29want to be a student you see what I'm
15:30saying so so that's a difference so
15:32that's what me and three is in our text
15:33I got to go in our text uh we we I gave
15:37you this last week but we see a
15:38Mountaintop experience Jesus Mountaintop
15:41Peter James and John all up there all of
15:43a sudden Supernatural event happens
15:45Elijah and Moses appear on the top of
15:48this mountain it's CRA it's a trip Peter
15:50says uh let's build some temples for
15:52Arab about it Jesus says Peter stop
15:54talking all the time you just say all
15:56kind of stuff and that's as Peter was
15:58trying was he wasn't trying to do this
15:59but what he was doing was putting Elijah
16:01and Moses and Jesus on the same plane
16:03Jesus was like don't even do me like
16:04that Peter uh uh I'm higher than them I
16:07I I was there before them I created them
16:09right cool then coming down from that
16:11Mountaintop experience we see a
16:12meaningful exorcism they come down to
16:15where the people are Jesus encounters
16:17these people Jesus and his disciples
16:18they encounter these people they having
16:20this argument they're having a major
16:22argument big debate um thousands of
16:25people I'm I'm sorry hundreds of people
16:27gathered around having a big debate uh
16:29and the the Crux of the debate is found
16:31in Mark chapter 9 verse number 17 it
16:33says this and someone from the crowd
16:35answered him teacher I brought my son to
16:37you and he has a spirit that makes him
16:39mute and whenever it seizes him and
16:41throws him down in Foams he Foams and
16:43grinds his teeth and becomes rigid so I
16:46asked your disciples to cast it out and
16:49they were not able okay all right so
16:53then we had to deal with the idea of why
16:54is it that the disciples who have been
16:57commissioned and given Authority over
16:59demons in Mark chapter 3 here we are in
17:02Mark chapter 9 here's an opportunity to
17:05back up their belief with
17:08behavior and the text says they couldn't
17:10do
17:12it Mark chapter 3 they was like oh we
17:16got power over
17:17demons demons show
17:20up they're not able to do it maybe they
17:23were operating with limiting
17:26beliefs limiting beliefs are watch this
17:28is right on the screen limiting belief
17:29our thoughts convictions or opinions
17:31that we believe to be absolute truths
17:33that hold us back from accomplishing
17:35goals dreams and pursuing our desires
17:38they are opinions that we believe are
17:43true when you believe is true it's true
17:46for
17:49you okay limiting beliefs I want to give
17:52you some of this because man this is so
17:53good limiting beliefs I'm not good
17:55enough I'm too old I don't have enough
17:56time I'm not smart enough I don't have
17:58enough experience I'll never make that
17:59much money I'm not talented enough I
18:01I'll never be married I'll never trust
18:03again I'll never have a healthy
18:05lifestyle I'll never be able to to to to
18:07Bear children I'll never be as pretty as
18:10her I'll never be success as successful
18:12as him I'm in the wrong neighborhood I'm
18:14the wrong color I'm the wrong gender all
18:17of the I'm not smart enough all of these
18:19soundtracks that run in our minds that
18:21limit our belief and then ultimately our
18:26Behavior guess where those thoughts live
18:28though
18:31put put my Iceberg back up there th
18:34those thoughts live in our not not just
18:37our conscious but our
18:42subconscious th those thoughts that I
18:44just th those ones that I just ran off
18:46those thoughts are living in our
18:48subconscious so now you don't even know
18:51what's influencing your logical thinking
18:54are fears
18:59what's influencing your willpower is not
19:03it's not just willpower I just even get
19:04more willpower I need to just stop I
19:06need to just just stop I know not to do
19:08it but I can't just stop doing the you
19:11fill in the blank look at somebody and
19:12say mind your business don't worry about
19:13my thing is that's all amen all right I
19:17just can't stop doing I just can't stop
19:20you don't understand what's fueling your
19:23conscious
19:24mind what's fueling your conscious mind
19:29fears self-image your emotions all of
19:33these things are fueling what you can
19:36what you believe you can actually do
19:38with your conscious
19:40mind so then this man says I brought my
19:44son you can keep that there for a moment
19:47uh to your disciples and they were not
19:50able to do anything about
19:53it you now Jesus Jesus is upset because
19:56this man says I brought them to your
19:58disciples so now that puts Jesus on the
20:01spot so now these your boys you vouch
20:04for them you say they've been walking
20:06with you two and a half years at this
20:08point y'all turning the world upside
20:10down they can't even cure a little boy
20:12from a little this is essentially Jesus
20:15is like oh so you gonna put my name on
20:17the
20:19line so okay so since you put my name on
20:22the line uh watch what watch what watch
20:25what he says watch what Jesus says Jesus
20:27is the OG for real original God watch
20:29this Jesus said to
20:31them you unbelieving
20:35generation how long must I be with you
20:39watch what it says how long must I put
20:41up with
20:45you J Jesus listen Jesus he was not
20:49playing I don't know what Jesus y'all
20:51have in y'all mind with the blonde hair
20:53and the blue eyes and the perfectly
20:54manicure hands and and and and the ultra
20:57perm that that ain't the one that's in
20:59the
21:00Bible that doesn't ruffle any further
21:03that's not the one that's in the Bible
21:04the one that's in the Bible say you came
21:06for me like don't come for me unless I S
21:09for you you unbelieving
21:11generation how
21:13long um must I be with you how long must
21:18I put up with you their belief bothered
21:22their unbelief I'm sorry bothered
21:25Jesus but why because Jesus
21:29understood that remember he's not only
21:31our savior he's our example so he
21:34understood that I've been with you
21:36modeling
21:38belief not because I need it Jesus says
21:42but because you need
21:43it because there are some things that
21:46belief
21:48births that you're going to start
21:50praying for and if you don't have belief
21:53you won't even utter
21:56it right right
21:59you know what there's danger of belief
22:03you know the first thing that come help
22:05me out real
22:09quick let me let me show you what belief
22:11does what what unbelief
22:18does y'all give it up for Dez he he
22:20didn't know he was

22:27unbelief unbelief the danger of unbelief
22:31unbelief binds God's
22:36hands unbelief binds God's hands in
22:41other words God wants to give you
22:44something that he
22:46can't he's like I want to bless you but
22:50I can't because you don't even believe
22:52that you can become the type of person
22:54that can handle the type of blessing
22:56that you're praying for
22:59so unbelief binds his hands and here God
23:03is with good intention towards us but he
23:05can't do
23:07anything the Bible says uh Jesus went
23:10back to his hometown and the Bible says
23:12that he could not do many miracles there
23:16but God can do everything he can do
23:19everything but override your
23:23unbelief only a few people got in
23:26Nazareth what was available for
23:27everybody because of unbelief here it is
23:31unbelief binds God's hands God is like I
23:36want
23:37to it's in my plan
23:41to I'm getting ready
23:45to but I
23:48can't I want to give you I want to bless
23:51you I want to help you but can you
23:55unlock belief so that I can do it
23:59not only does unbelief bind God's hands
24:03Watch what it does unbelief uh it it it
24:07belittles God's
24:10help so here it is here God is trying to
24:15help her trying to send
24:18help he's trying to send help in the
24:20form of
24:22people because some of the stuff we're
24:24praying for God has a person with a
24:27blessing that can answer the
24:31prayer so here it
24:33is we've we've unbelief binds God's
24:38hands and not only does it bind God's
24:42hands it belittles God help or or it
24:45makes it seem like God ain't trying to
24:47send help and God is trying to send help
24:49but God you're taking too long why ain't
24:51you doing it God's like I'm trying to do
24:53it will you please stop belittling the
24:56help that I'm trying to send by
24:58releasing your belief increase your
25:01belief then I can send you the person
25:03with the
25:05answer do you know that often times the
25:09way in which God answers prayers is
25:10through
25:12people and you're asking God to rain
25:15down Mana from Heaven God's like I don't
25:17have to send Mana you got a man right
25:19next to you that can put your name in an
25:22environment
25:29not only I got I got Lord I thought I
25:31was going to get further than this y'all
25:33um um not only does he bind God Hand not
25:36only does it uh belittle God's help but
25:39it watch this it blocks God's
25:44Harvest you do me a favor put that up so
25:46that they can see that it it blocks
25:48God's Harvest it literally it literally
25:52watch it literally stops God for pouring
25:56out at the level he desires to pour
26:00out you ever so on the iron on the iron
26:04I love the
26:06iron it's like therapeutic to me it
26:08really is one day we needed an iron we
26:11was like we went we were somewhere we
26:12needed an iron I had X on you go get an
26:14iron she went to the store got iron she
26:15brought back the wrong type of iron it's
26:17like one of them no no that's not an
26:19iron I need an iron she brought back the
26:21one soon as you pour water in it water's
26:23all on your clothes it's like she like
26:27we just needed just a little no no I
26:28need a real
26:31Iron all
26:33right but on the iron you know they have
26:36like you can pour water on the side if
26:38you don't iron you don't know what I'm
26:40talking about just go buy iron this is
26:42your homework you can pour water in the
26:45iron to get the steam because you need
26:46some good steam if you're going to do
26:48some real iron and all the iron ironers
26:50said
26:51amen some of y'all ain't iron in 10
26:53years I can
26:56tell you anti- iron okay
26:58okay and what you do is you pour the
27:01water in there right but then there's a
27:04field
27:07line and and and in essence the field
27:10line says like yo this is the most you
27:12can put in
27:14there we've let culture give us a low
27:17field
27:19line and God says I never asked you to
27:22stop pouring because what ends up
27:24happening is when you keep pouring
27:27what's on the inside of the iron is
27:28going to come
27:29out in the natural concerning ironing
27:32that's not so much a good thing but in
27:34the spiritual it is and he says you're
27:36blocking my Harvest by keeping your
27:38belief line so low if you would just
27:41continue to believe continue to pour in
27:45faith he says I will Express out of you
27:49Springs of Living
27:51Water of
27:53belief he says take me out of this stuff
27:57I can't move I'm
27:59just I will finish it like this he says

28:05unbelieving step out okay perfect thank
28:07you I got this part I don't got out of C

28:12hallelujah look at somebody say judge

28:18ain't did nothing to
28:21nobody we yes we listen and we don't
28:25judge
28:28who is this unbelieving generation that
28:29Jesus is referring to maybe the
28:31unbelieving generation is the
28:35disciples but in the text in the
28:37original language that you is plural
28:39it's not just the disciples it's
28:41everybody that's
28:42listening because everybody that's
28:44listening aren't
28:45disciples so he says this unbelieving
28:48generation is the disciples it's the
28:52crowd and it's the
28:54Father the disciples the followers of
28:57Jesus
28:59the the the the crowd the people that
29:02are
29:03watching you never know who's
29:07watching your belief
29:10Journey um and then the Father the
29:13person with the real
29:14issue and that's some of us some of us
29:16got some stuff like God we believe in
29:17you for it
29:19now I'm I'm I'm going to have to wrap
29:21all this up y'all in in three minutes
29:23Lord have mercy Jesus said to you said
29:26to them you unbelieving generation how
29:27long must I be with you how long must I
29:29put up with you then he goes on to say
29:31Mark chapter 9 verse number 19 bring the
29:33boy to
29:35me go go go get the
29:38boy go go get the thing that got y'all
29:42all in the
29:44Uproar you you brought it to the
29:48disciples you got them all in front of
29:50all these
29:52people but bring them to me
29:54though go go get the boy you want him
29:57yes go go go get
29:59them I can see them now go go get the
30:01boy where's the boy come on get the boy
30:03they bring the boy they bring the boy to
30:04Jesus oh this is going to mess you up
30:06they bring the boy to Jesus watch this
30:07verse number 20 says they brought the
30:09boy to him as soon as the spirit saw
30:12Jesus it threw the boy into
30:16convulsions he fell on the ground rolled
30:19around and start foaming at the mouth
30:21verse number 21 is gonna blow your mind
30:23Jesus asked the father how long has he
30:24been like this hold
30:26on Jesus
30:28the spirit the reason that the father
30:31brought the boy to Jesus was right in
30:34front of Jesus the the spirit in the boy
30:37sees Jesus and starts to convulse he
30:41starts to foam out of the mouth some
30:43Scholars are saying this is some type of
30:45some form of
30:48epilepsy the boy falls on the ground and
30:52uh grinding his teeth foaming out the
30:53mouth Jesus looks at the boy and then
30:56says well how long has he been like
31:00this meanwhile the
31:07boy this the part that's messing me up
31:10the boy is literally on the
31:12ground Jesus is acting like I don't even
31:14see him and he starts talking to the
31:18father because he's trying to gauge the
31:20father's belief in his ability to do
31:23something for somebody connected to
31:26him he's
31:28says I got to go he says how long has
31:31the boy been like this I bet the
31:33father's like like do it like he's he's
31:35doing the thing now like stop it the
31:36thing that we brought him because you
31:38got to help him well how long has he
31:40been like this the father says to him he
31:42says since he was a
31:43child I said oh my goodness so then that
31:47means Satan is such a
31:49coward he doesn't wait until our
31:52adulthood to try and attack he'll try to
31:54catch you in your
31:56innocence he said if I can get your
31:58belief in your innocence I got
32:01you but where does the trauma and the
32:04pain of our
32:05innocence what does it
32:09live in the
32:15subconscious so now I got through
32:17something I'm not still hurt the same
32:20way I was when it initially happened but
32:22that doesn't mean I'm Healed from
32:25it just because I'm numb doesn't mean
32:27I'm Healed
32:31I know it doesn't hurt like it used to
32:32but that doesn't mean that it healed the
32:33way it's supposed
32:37to he says how long has the boy been
32:40like this he say since he was a since he
32:41was a a child I got to keep going y'all
32:44um he said the demon verse number 22 the
32:46demon has often thrown him into the fire
32:47and into the water to destroy him he
32:49says watch what he says he says um Jesus
32:53um he throws him in the fire into the
32:54water the the the the enemy is after my
32:57child
32:58the enemy is after my child and um um if
33:02if you can do something about it um if
33:05it's possible for you um would you do me
33:08a favor would you help out this this the
33:11paraphrase he said would you if you can
33:12do something about this would you would
33:14you help them out would you help us out
33:16do do if if you could do anything I I
33:18know you're busy I know you got a lot of
33:19things to do you savior of the world and
33:21all that stuff but um if you can do
33:25something Jesus said what
33:28what did you just
33:32say pull up right he said what what what
33:36did you just say he said I know I'm just
33:39saying like if you can if you can do
33:41something and he says if you can yeah
33:44yeah if you can Jesus Takes that and he
33:47says no no no don't say if you can
33:50listen to Jesus's response if you
33:53can believe
33:57see here's what the father was doing the
34:00father was lacing his petition to God
34:03with the if
34:05clause and if you want God oh God if you
34:09believe that God is going to do
34:10something in your life you've got to get
34:12the ifs off your
34:14lips you've got if you're going to
34:17believe that God is going to do what God
34:20is going to do you've got to get the ifs
34:23off your lips it's not if you can it's
34:26when you bless me it's it's when you
34:28heal me it's when you deliver me is
34:30there anybody in here that can say if
34:33it's no longer a part of my
34:37prayer it's
34:40when I got to go immediately the father
34:43says uh Jesus says if you if you can he
34:47Jesus says well if you can
34:49believe um that all things are possible
34:52yeah um then P what he says this going
34:56to mess you up
34:58all things are possible for the person
35:00or for the one who believes the father
35:03hits him with I do
35:05believe but help
35:07my unbelief hold on what what kind of
35:12dichotomy what kind of
35:14hypocrisy what kind of hypocrisy are we
35:17living in I thought you said you believe
35:20you just said in one sentence I do
35:23believe help my unbelief hold on what's
35:26going on this where I'm supposed to beat

35:30father this what I'm supposed to say
35:32well he should have had more faith than
35:34that oh no because when I don't see a
35:37father I don't see a father I see
35:39me and there have been seasons of my
35:41life let's see if you can identify well
35:44God I believe will do me a
35:49favor help my
35:52unbelief because baked inside of my
35:54belief is a piece of unbelief
35:58now PE what the father did not
36:00say the father says I do believe beh
36:02help my unbelief here's what he did not
36:04say he did not say I do believe but help
36:06my
36:08disbelief because disbelief is an
36:10opposed to something or a refusal to
36:15believe he he says I I believe but but
36:19help my unbelief he says I don't he did
36:21not say disbelief and he did not say
36:24misbelief because misbelief means I
36:27believe wrong or
36:31incorrectly he says help my
36:34unbelief unbelief means the jury is
36:37still
36:38out that it's not that I'm opposed to
36:41your power it's just that I haven't seen
36:44you do this so help me as I'm growing in
36:48my belief to believe you for what's in
36:51front of me
36:55now so so so I'll spare you the details
36:58go back and read it Mark chapter n Jesus
37:02speaks to the spirit that's impacting
37:04the boy yeah and that's what some of us
37:07need to do we need to look at our
37:09children and start speaking to the
37:12spirit that's trying to impact them
37:16negatively that that's what it is you
37:19you're not g to beat this one out of
37:21them you're not going to take the
37:23PlayStation that ain't doing nothing
37:29taking the Xbox is cool but that ain't
37:30doing
37:33it says I do believe but help my
37:36unbelief okay
37:41um the issue that Jesus says to the to
37:45him in the name of Jesus no he says you
37:47foul Spirit whatever come come about the
37:49boy and immediately the spirit left the
37:52boy but then in a last ditch effort the
37:56boy falls to the ground
37:59and they're looking at the boy as if
38:00he's lifeless y'all go back and read
38:03it he's he's lifeless so now imagine you
38:06being the father you're looking at the
38:09boy I said I want you to help
38:12him you you you you look like you you
38:16killed
38:17him Jesus reaches down grabs the boy by
38:20the hand picks him
38:22up it's two Miracles not only the
38:26beautiful EX ISM but it's the beautiful
38:31resurrection of the boy and of the
38:35father's belief
38:41system I
38:44believe but can you
38:46help my
38:48unbelief and Jesus is like
38:51absolutely that's why I
38:53came that's why I'm
38:55here that's why I'm consistently
38:57reminding you of who it is that you are
38:59I I came to increase your belief in me
39:02Jesus
39:04says that's why I
39:06came guys we have
39:09a we have a beautiful space outside it's
39:12a it's a belief wall our team spent an
39:14amazing amount of time I know you saw it
39:16when you kind of came
39:17in and
39:19um spent an amazing time of time and
39:22detail and really to try and
39:25illustrate what we what we're going to
39:27be talking about all year this idea of
39:30belief and
39:33um before you leave
39:37today I want you to go out there I want
39:39you to take one of those notes and maybe
39:40one or two of
39:42them and I want you to write down what
39:44you're believing God
39:49for I want you to write down what you
39:51believ in God for and watch this don't
39:54even trip about writing down what you're
39:56believing God for that still has a
39:58little bit of
40:02a because as we can
40:05see that recognition or acknowledgement
40:08of unbelief did not tie God's hands he
40:11still did
40:14it so I want you to I want you to I want
40:16you to write what you're believing God
40:19for I want you to I want you to put it
40:23on the
40:24wall I want you to put it on the wall I
40:27want you to seal it I want you to say a
40:29little 10-second prayer father I pray in
40:31the name of Jesus you your word says all
40:33things are possible I'm believing
40:36you your word says all things are
40:38possible believe in you in Jesus name
40:41cool put it there and we're going to
40:44leave that and we're going to believe
40:45with you now here's what I want you to
40:49understand just because I write it and
40:52put it on the wall that does not make
40:54God do anything
40:58what unbinds God's
41:00hands is belief and
41:04faith that is the thing we're doing this
41:07as an
41:08illustration I want you to I want you to
41:10hang out there I want you to write that
41:12there if you're crazy enough take a
41:14picture of it just say I'm beli in God
41:16hashtag it put it on Facebook and all
41:18that
41:18stuff and uh we want to celebrate that
41:21as a matter of fact when you do that if
41:23you're you're comfortable with
41:25it if and if if you're not don't do it
41:28at all don't put names on it it's none
41:30of our business between you and
41:35God would you stand to your feet I want
41:37to pray for
41:44you
41:53father father we see so much of
41:55ourselves in your word
41:58is is your word has literally read our
42:05hearts God we
42:07pray that you would increase our belief
42:10in
42:11you our trust in
42:14you God life sometimes presents things
42:17to us and we don't always have the
42:18answers a matter of fact most times we
42:20don't have any answer at all you are the
42:23answer
42:25and God we're believing you in 2025 and
42:30Beyond to do
42:32something
42:36miraculous and God we we're crazy enough
42:40to start behaving like what we're
42:42believing you
42:43for we we're crazy enough to start
42:46putting the disciplines around our
42:48lives around our resources around our
42:51mindset around our
42:54connections just as a means to show you
42:56that that our participation is in
42:59alignment with our peti with our
43:03petition we love
43:06you would you increase our
43:09belief that you can do anything but fail
43:12would you increase our belief that all
43:15things are possible through you would
43:16you increase our belief that it's not by
43:19might not by power but by your spirit
43:23that these things shall come to pass
43:25would you increase our belief
43:28that you can do
43:29exceedingly and
43:31abundantly above all we can ask or think
43:34Lord in the name of Jesus we pray this
43:38prayer amen amen hallelujah and amen
43:42come on put your hands together
