0:00Hello, welcome back to the PJ Trades
0:01review series. If it's your first time
0:03tuning in to this YouTube channel, I
0:06welcome you on in. And this video today
0:10is going to be a trade breakdown of a
0:12live trade I took in front of nearly
0:152,000 members on the live trading floor.
0:19And it's something that I want to
0:21dissect at a higher level here on
0:23YouTube, so you guys can go and break
0:25this stuff down in your own trading.
0:28Today's model is a little bit more
0:30advanced. It's something that requires
0:33feel, it requires all the different
0:35factors to be coming together at once,
0:37because it is a reversal trade. It's
0:39something that we use as a quick hitter.
0:42That's why we call it the connecting
0:44flight. We're basically taking a flight
0:45from here to here, and we need to know
0:48that this destination is going to be
0:50where the market can bounce and continue
0:53the overall trend. So, we are getting in
0:55quickly, we're getting out quickly, and
0:57that is how this model is so effective
1:00lately. I don't think I have a loss on
1:01this thing, and I'm going to break down
1:03the trade review that we made today that
1:06netted me $5,300
1:08using this simple model. Guys, this
1:11stuff is free, but in the right hands,
1:14it is worth millions. So, please do me a
1:17favor, like, comment, and subscribe to
1:19the channel. We're hunting 100,000
1:21members here on the YouTube channel, and
1:23I would love to get there by the year's
1:24end. Now, with that being said, let's
1:27get on into this beautiful trade review.
1:31Presented by Tostitos, the chip company.
1:32All right, so here she is in all her
1:34glory, and today is none other than
1:38September 1st, 2026. Welcome to
1:42September, guys. And a beautiful way to
1:44start the month with a bang bang type
1:48trade. I am going to break down why we
1:51exited where we exited. It's the key to
1:53the puzzle here, honestly. If you don't
1:54If you don't exit where we exited today,
1:56this trade likely ends up getting, you
1:59know, reversed on you pretty quickly.
2:01Okay? So, I'm going to break down the
2:02trade idea behind it and everything that
2:04goes into the components of the
2:08connecting flight model. So,
2:10if we look at the 15-minute time frame,
2:12let's go ahead and look at the the
2:1415-minute time frame first cuz this is
2:16where the magic always happens, really.
2:18I love the 15-minute time frame. If I
2:20could trade one time frame for the rest
2:21of my life, it'd be the 15-minute. But,
2:23here is where the magic happens today,
2:26and I want you guys to really understand
2:29this idea and this concept, and it will
2:31really make this trade that I took today
2:34kind of like a oh, wow, yeah, that makes
2:36a lot of sense, PJ. Like, dang, I wish I
2:38would have seen that. So,
2:40here we go. So, here's what I'm going to
2:41show you.
2:42Now, off of the the market selling off
2:47overnight, right? We had a massive
2:48sell-off, right? Massive sell-off, 513
2:51points. We were expecting some sort of
2:56bounce, and I was looking for a
2:58continuation short today all day, right?
3:01I'm looking for a short of that
3:03overnight trend. Just where is it going
3:05to happen? Now, with that being said,
3:08the market V-shapes aggressively off of
3:11the Asia low, and it creates an
3:14inversion fair value gap on the
3:1615-minute time frame. Okay? So, that
3:1915-minute inversion gap now,
3:23um you know, it's it's sitting there,
3:26and I am looking at this market saying
3:29to myself, "Okay, this is looking pretty
3:32bullish. This market likely wants to go
3:35higher, but we're probably going to have
3:38to come back and test the inversion, use
3:42it as support, and then go higher." That
3:44is where the connecting flight idea even
3:47comes from, right? If we are looking at
3:49this V-shape in this market with
3:51strength to the upside. We know that
3:54most of the time the market needs to
3:56come back, grab some more orders to make
3:58a new higher high, right? So, that's
4:01where the feel comes in, but I'm going
4:03to give you guys a very, very easy tip
4:06on how to identify if the market is
4:08going to pull back or not. Come on over
4:10to the good old and trusty
4:144-hour fair value gap. Okay.
4:17So, the 4-hour
4:19today creates a massive sell-side
4:22imbalance to the downside. That's a
4:234-hour fair value gap, okay?
4:25Now, if I just kind of replay bar this a
4:28little bit, you're going to see that
4:30during right before the trade that I
4:33took, this market tags in.
4:37It tags into the 4-hour bearish fair
4:40value gap. Watch. See? Boom. Okay. This
4:44is where the clues start coming in,
4:45guys. If you're not marking your 4-hour
4:48fair value gaps, you're not marking your
4:501-hour fair value gaps, you would have
4:52completely missed this today, okay? What
4:54is the market doing here? I teach this
4:57on the channel every day of the week.
4:59What is the market essentially doing
5:00here, right? We're creating a sell-side
5:03imbalance internally
5:05of this leg, internal, and what are we
5:09looking for then from there? An external
5:11trade setup towards that Asia low
5:14that is unmitigated and untouched right
5:17now. So, this is what I'm saying, all
5:19the stuff that I teach on the channel,
5:21it all comes together so nicely where
5:24you could basically pivot in a couple of
5:26different ways to trade this idea. So,
5:294-hour gets tagged, beautiful. That's
5:32what I'm looking for, okay? We're
5:34getting a very nice rejection from
5:36there. We're also grabbing all of this
5:38liquidity to the left, which is even
5:40better. I'm I'm grabbing liquidity, I'm
5:42going into a higher time frame PD array.
5:44Everything's starting going up. Now, how
5:46do I want to trade this connecting
5:49flight? Well,
5:51we're going to need some sort of, you
5:54know, V-shape recovery from the zone,
5:56which we're already getting, right?
5:57We're getting the V-shape here. There's
5:59already a 1-minute
6:02inversion right here, kind of confirming
6:05the thesis that we're probably going to
6:07rotate lower into that 15-minute bullish
6:11gap. Now, here's where I want you guys
6:13to pause the video. The common question
6:15I get all the time on these type of
6:18trades is where is the TP going to be?
6:20And this is where you need to get your
6:21journals and your notes out because this
6:23is where your TP is going to be. I'm
6:25going to tell you. If you have a
6:2715-minute
6:28gap like we do, it's an inversion gap to
6:32the upside, okay? And we need to come
6:34down and tag it.
6:37Most of the time, I would say maybe
6:39eight out of 10 times, the market is
6:42going to come down and test the bottom
6:46of the inversion. Literally going to
6:48test the bottom of the inversion to make
6:49sure that it's good for support. Now,
6:51watch what happens here. You guys
6:53probably already know if you looked at
6:54the market today. Watch what happens.
6:58You see what happens?
6:59Right into the bottom of the 15-minute
7:02inversion we go, okay? You know what we
7:05we traded. This is the bottom of it.
7:07That's our TP. And what ends up
7:09happening?
7:11Finds the support and it goes higher for
7:13a continuation model. We literally all
7:17that we're doing with this idea, chat,
7:19is we are identifying where the market
7:22needs to pull back to,
7:24right? Before it makes the next leg
7:27higher in today's example.
7:29It it it ain't brain surgery. It It
7:31really is not brain surgery. If you're
7:33able to combine 15-minute inversions,
7:374-hour higher time frame PD arrays, we
7:40can forecast where the market's going to
7:42go, right? It's a ping pong effect. It
7:43goes up, bounces, right? Resistance,
7:47sellers pressure back down. It comes
7:49back down into a clear buy zone and an
7:51inversion to the upside. Buyers take
7:54control. Boom, we move back higher,
7:57right? It is a very, very like simple
8:00pattern that I could trade every day of
8:02the week with my eyes closed, really.
8:04That is what the connecting flight is,
8:05right? Connecting flight and then
8:08there's a continuation. Now, for someone
8:10like myself who has very strict rules, a
8:12lot of people always ask me, "Well, why
8:14don't you take the long from there?"
8:16I've already went into the lion's cage
8:18once to feed it. I'm not going to go
8:20back in to try to feed the lion again.
8:22We all know how that ends. You're going
8:23to get your arm ripped off and your
8:25account blown. If I'm able to identify a
8:28high probability setup like this that
8:29nets me 50 points trading NQ and I made
8:32$5,300 in that amount of time, you
8:35should not be going back to chase this
8:38move here, right? Yes, we know it's
8:40there. I don't care. I already made my
8:42money. I already took a piece of the pie
8:44of the market and I'm good and I'm
8:46happy, man. You cannot be greedy in this
8:48business. A lot of you guys have greed,
8:51greed, and you will never be successful
8:54being greedy in this market. That's
8:55exactly what I have learned over the
8:58course of 10 years that my greed in my
9:00beginning years cost me many years of
9:03actually being profitable. Unprofitable
9:05due to greed. So, I take the connecting
9:09flight directly into the zone that we
9:11know the market likely will bounce from.
9:13We're out, full TP. Okay? That's the
9:16target. Now that you know the target,
9:18well, PJ, what's the entry function?
9:20What's the like how are you entering?
9:22Well, this is so easy. This is it's it's
9:25a such an easy trade and I want you guys
9:27to really become more familiar with this
9:28stuff because truly once you see it, you
9:31can't unsee it, really. Like it's so
9:34textbook today. So, the market comes
9:36down,
9:37right? And what does it do? It in in
9:40inverses up here, right? We have an
9:41inverse out of the 4-hour gap, right?
9:43Beautiful. Beautiful. Yes, you could
9:45take this entry here, and this is a bit
9:48of a uh a more aggressive entry, run the
9:52stops right above the swing, okay? And
9:55I'm risking 29 points up here
9:58uh for about 61. It's about a 1:2:1,
10:00okay? Which is fine, you could totally
10:02do that. But, what I want to do in in
10:05this scenario is I want to see the
10:08market come back up off of this
10:11inversion. This is where I'm trading the
10:13retest, right? A lot of you guys asked
10:14me, "When PJ, when do you trade the
10:16retest?" This is exactly the moment to
10:18trade the retest the retest of the
10:19inversion. Okay, the market comes back
10:21up, tags the inversion, right? Right
10:24there is the tag. If you guys need to
10:26zoom in on that, please look at it. Tags
10:28the inversion, confirms the inversion as
10:31a resistance zone. Sellers are present
10:33here really quickly. Now, here is where
10:36the entry model and the skill set comes
10:37in. A lot of you guys probably saw this
10:39on social media today when I posted it.
10:42I did not wait for this 1-minute gap to
10:44go inverse, right? Now, bringing in more
10:47elements of my trading career and all
10:49the years I've been doing this, I'm not
10:50waiting for the inversion here because
10:52all as I have to do is go flip over to
10:54the 30-second. I've already spotted an
10:56earlier inversion. So, I'm going to
10:58front run this 1-minute because listen
11:01here, all the factors have already lined
11:03up. Everything's lined up here, right?
11:05This trade is already like it it's so
11:07perfect that I am so confident this
11:101-minute's going to go IFVG and we're
11:12going to fill the 15-minute gap. I
11:14really don't even need an IFVG here. I
11:16could just tell by the way that we are
11:18we are delivering price out of the
11:194-hour gap, right? We're not getting
11:22fully we we just tease the 15-minute,
11:25okay? We pull back up, right? Great
11:28market maker trick, trap people into the
11:30shorts right here. Comes back up, tags
11:33the inversion. Beautiful doji print on
11:36the 30. I am in there like swimwear off
11:39the 30-second inversion. I actually
11:40front run that a bit as well, I believe.
11:43Running an 18-point stop, 19-point stop,
11:46call it. And then boom, we are off to
11:48the races. Stops go break even right
11:51here, and we scale one there, and then I
11:54get the rest out right about here. It's
11:57it's so textbook, it's so clean, and
11:59it's a pattern and it's a trade that you
12:01can trade in any single market, the
12:04connecting flight, guys. But understand
12:06the principle. Understand that the
12:08market needs to
12:10has to show weakness in the 4-hour gap.
12:13It has to show weakness, which it does,
12:15and then it needs to show Once it shows
12:17weakness from there, that's when you're
12:19looking for your entry function, okay?
12:21And then the exit is at the inversion
12:24here, right? It's at the bullish
12:26inversion, the bottom half of it. Cuz
12:28the market loves to fill that imbalance,
12:30clean it up. Once it's cleaned up, boom,
12:33off to the races to the other the other
12:34side of the market. And then later in
12:36the day it actually prints a beautiful
12:38bearish breaker formation, which I have
12:40not seen print this beautifully in a
12:42while. Watch this for a second, just for
12:44being a dork.
12:46Look at this, cuz it just This stuff
12:47excites me. Watch that retest. It's a
12:50unicorn 15-minute. I don't know if you
12:52guys spotted this in the afternoon, but
12:54dang, you should have. 15-minute unicorn
12:57breaker formation. It taps the fair
12:59value gap. And then look at this
13:01delivery. Unbelievable, beautiful,
13:03straight to the Asia low. And there's
13:05the unmitigated Asia low getting tagged
13:07during PM. This style trade, you trade
13:10it like this, right? The stop will be
13:12right above the breaker. Entry would be
13:14on the tag right here, and you would run
13:16your TP down to the Asia low. That's a
13:18170-point trade risking 51 points.
13:21That's just another thing that I teach
13:22is the breaker block setups, but that
13:24happens later in the session, which is
13:25crazy. So, that's the day That's today's
13:28day trade, guys. The connecting flight
13:30model, one of my favorite models that
13:32we've been trading over the course of
13:34this summer because, you know, summer
13:35months, price is a little choppy, and we
13:37can we got to take what we can get. And
13:39this model really it just shines. It
13:42shines. It's I think I'm undefeated
13:44trading the model. When there is an
13:46unmitigated fair value gap and we can
13:48identify that that that's going to be a
13:50pullback zone, we can find a trade setup
13:53and inversion into that zone, right? And
13:57take full TP and be done. We don't care
13:59what the market does after that. Woo!
14:01That was a lot of yapping, but there's a
14:03lot of good good value in these trade
14:05reviews. I hope you guys are becoming
14:08better traders, better humans, better
14:10emotionally, better discipline, better
14:12risk, so you guys can go and take the
14:15prop firms for a lot of money. We just
14:16had one of our students do a hundred
14:18thousand dollars
14:20in one month and go buy a house for him
14:22and his wife. That is just one
14:24testimonial of the thousands of students
14:27that we have in the Discord absolutely
14:28printing, and I teach this stuff and do
14:31this stuff in real time while nobody
14:32else is doing it. I hope you guys
14:34enjoyed the today's trade review. I'll
14:35see you in the next one. Peace and love.
