0:00A woman ahead of her time . That's how I
0:04, Luiz Helena Trajano , begin talking
0:07about the founder of Magalu , my dear
0:09Aunt Luía . She was born in the
0:13interior of São Paulo , at a time when
0:15women didn't often venture out to start
0:18businesses . And at 31 , newly married to
0:23my uncle , she invested her meager
0:25savings to make a down payment on a
0:28gift shop , right across the street from
0:30where she worked as a salesperson for
0:33almost 20 years . From this woman's
0:36vision and strength , my example since
0:39birth was the realization of the dream
0:41of building a great company . She knew
0:45that each customer was special and
0:47unique . This has guided the values of
0:50the company to this day . She inspires
0:52us to work so that more Brazilians have
0:55access to products and services that
0:57improve their lives . You may not know ,
1:00but Aunt Luía also inspired Lu , the
1:02biggest digital influencer in the world
1:05. Magalu still demonstrates an
1:09incredible ability to constantly renew
1:12itself without ever abandoning its
1:14roots . And in Women's Month , we
1:17celebrate her legacy , extending it to
1:19the many Brazilian women who fight
1:22every day . It is the example of this
1:26feminine strength that we want to
1:27celebrate today . All the women who are
1:30protagonists of our beloved Brazil .
