0:03Okay, welcome in. It is Wednesday. It is

0:06time for Total Bases and we've got a

0:08full slate today. All four series are in

0:11action. Didn't know if that would be the

0:13case until late last night, but the

0:15Padres's found a way to get it done and

0:17give us a game four, which means all

0:20eight teams remaining will play today.

0:22And we'll see uh how many of them are

0:24still around after today. A couple of

0:26these series could finish. Uh, I know in

0:29Brian's case he hopes uh the first one

0:31doesn't because that's his guardians um

0:33facing elimination. But first, let's go

0:35around the horn. Tokyo Brandon, I'll

0:36come to you first. How was your Tuesday?

0:40>> Yeah, sorry I wasn't on the show

0:42yesterday. I I wrote you guys about an

0:44hour before and said I'm not I was

0:45having a little too much fun and lost

0:48track of the time. So, my apologies

0:50there. Um, I went 2 and 0 on my $5

0:54plays, so I was pretty happy about that.

0:57uh plus 146 units on the year. Number

1:00one, I took over the number one spot

1:03from Hakee, so I'm happy about that as

1:04well. I have um one play in MLB today,

1:09so feeling good. Feeling good.

1:13>> Yeah, I also slept uh swept $5 Tuesday,

1:16although one was this morning. Uh I had

1:18the Dodgers in Major League Baseball and

1:20I had the LG Twins this morning. So, uh

1:22both players were up for five bucks and

1:25um both plays won. I will say this, I

1:27have a 5% play in Major League Baseball

1:29today. Uh, no, you will not figure out

1:31what it is uh by listening to this show.

1:33I'll make sure of that. Uh, though I

1:35will be still talking about all four of

1:38these games in detail. Listen, I'm 5-0

1:40in the Major League Baseball playoffs

1:42right now. Perfect. So far in the year,

1:44the last two years, I've only had three

1:475% plays in the playoffs. Those are

1:49three and 0 plus 15 units. So, uh, I've

1:52taken a big shot today. Uh, I think I've

1:55sort of put myself in a position to do

1:56so. Uh, so I do have a 5% play in Major

1:59League Baseball today. It will likely be

2:01uh the only one of the playoffs because

2:02Brian, as you know, um, finding edges in

2:05the postseason that you're willing to go

2:075% on is is difficult. Uh, but I think

2:10I've got one today. Brian, how did

2:12Tuesday go for you? Um, anything on the

2:13ice? Anything in bases?

2:15>> Yeah, I in bases I had the Dodgers minus

2:18one and a half and a real nice plus plus

2:21number. thought I was I was definitely

2:23sweating that one out when they got a

2:25double start off the inning, but uh it

2:28won and uh yeah, on big underdogs, you

2:30sweat a lot more, it seems to be. And

2:32then in hockey, I had uh the New York

2:34Rangers under three and a half goals and

2:38uh with like a minute and a half to go,

2:41I was winning and they ended up giving

2:42up five goals. So I ended up losing my

2:44hockey hockey play. So now 12 and three,

2:48is it 11? Yeah, 11 and three. 12 and

2:50three or whatever in the uh hockey start

2:52of the season. But uh I'm glad you've

2:55got a game you like on today's card

2:57because I'm finding the lines pretty

3:00tight at least from the way I handicap.

3:02So hopefully you could talk me into a

3:05play today. One of you guys.

3:07Yeah, that's the that's the goal. Uh

3:09we're the chat is starting to populate.

3:12I should probably re, you know, retweet

3:14the show out, but it looks like we're

3:15getting uh enough people in here. So

3:17let's get it started. Brian, I'm going

3:19to let you start this off uh because it

3:21is your Guardians in the early game that

3:24face elimination out in Chicago this

3:26afternoon. Um the the playoffs have gone

3:30as good as they possibly can to this

3:32point for the White Socks. It just feels

3:34like they haven't really been punched in

3:36the mouth yet. Uh they're just sort of

3:38rolling right along. Everything's

3:40falling into place. Um and that brings

3:42us to game three. Now, of course, the

3:45Guardians having to go not win not one,

3:47but two on the road to keep it uh to

3:49keep it going. So, we've got an

3:51interesting sort of pitching setup here.

3:54I kind of have a good idea of what I

3:56think the White Socks are going to do.

3:57I'm hoping you could talk to me about

3:59how the Guardians might play the

4:01pitching for game three.

4:03>> Yeah, we got Espino and Nukem. Nukem's a

4:05lefty. Uh he's about a 120 favorite

4:08right now. Total eight to the under. I

4:12was hoping to get some decent prices on

4:15seven and a halfs and I was thinking

4:16about playing this game over. I expect

4:19both both openers to go maybe an inning.

4:22Uh Nukem pitched pretty heavily a couple

4:25days ago, so he's not going to go a

4:26little more than a little over an inning

4:28if he can. And Espino's been good at the

4:30short times. But, uh, Cleveland's

4:32probably going to go with, uh,

4:36with Foster Griffin here. And, uh, he

4:40will be facing off, uh, likely against,

4:44uh, the the majority of the, of the game

4:46for the White Sox are going to go with,

4:49uh, Davis Martin, I believe. So,

4:54I'm neither one of these guys are coming

4:57in um or the ace type starters. Uh so, I

5:02I would expect more runs in this game.

5:06Um like I said, I was I prefer the seven

5:09and a half over the eight, but I'm not I

5:11don't want to lay the 120 one, you know,

5:13125 out there right now on the over. Um,

5:16Cleveland just hasn't hit in in Chicago

5:19as you mentioned, everything that they

5:21have done is worked out. You even the

5:23other day when they brought in their

5:25best pitcher and had him pitch late, we

5:27both I texted you and I said, "Oh,

5:28what's going on here?" Uh, he didn't

5:30have to pitch a lot, throw a lot of

5:32pitches, but it worked out for him. Um,

5:35but Cleveland's problem has been, and I

5:37read an article on this,

5:40they're when they get down, like the

5:41first six innings are very competitive

5:43at bats, but it so far in this series in

5:45the seventh, eth, and ninth inning,

5:47they're swinging early.

5:49And they're not making the opposition

5:52work. And if you're swinging early, you

5:54don't get as many chances to see, you

5:56know, the opposition screw up when on

5:58one of those pitches. And they they had

6:00the batting averages earlier in the

6:02game. And you know your statistics early

6:04in the game and compared to late and

6:05they're all swinging they're taking like

6:07two pitches to get them out. That was

6:10not a good sign when you're going up

6:12against these really two good uh

6:14relievers for the White Socks. You got

6:16to make those guys work. You you got if

6:19they're playing one game, you got to

6:20make sure that they're not coming back

6:21for the next one. And Cleveland has not

6:23done that. Uh that said, if I'm playing

6:26this game, I I think it's priced

6:29correctly. Um in the 120 range, slightly

6:33to the over. Uh hopefully uh some people

6:36may bet the under here, but slightly to

6:38the over. And that's about all I have on

6:39this one.

6:41>> TB Guardians White Sox, you had a nice

6:43winner the other day with the White

6:44Socks scoring some runs in this uh

6:47series in game two. Uh do you think the

6:49White Sox back to get it going at home

6:51in game three?

6:53Yeah. Uh, quick promo chance here. Uh,

6:57because I took over the number one spot,

6:59Wager Talk put together a promo for me.

7:01My KBO, Japanese baseball, MLB rest of

7:05all three seasons for $99. You can get

7:07that at my page at wagertalk.com.

7:10Um, we don't have the double play to

7:12promote anymore. I'm sad. But, uh, so

7:14you guys can promote whatever you got

7:16going because I know both of you are

7:18redhot doing football. So, and Brian 12

7:21and three in hockey is not too shabby

7:23either. Um, in this game, uh, I'll be

7:28flat up honest with you. I really don't

7:30know how to bet this to be honest.

7:32Foster Griffin, Davis Martin, they're

7:34both pretty reliable guys, but, uh,

7:36they're expected numbers are below

7:38average for both of them. Uh, both

7:41lineups hitting pretty well. Um,

7:45yeah, I think the Guardians have a

7:48bullpen advantage, but uh the White Sox

7:51are coming on with that bullpen and they

7:53didn't use some of their leverage arms.

7:55So, White Sox's very dangerous team here

7:58today. Um,

8:01I would think the Guardians are not

8:03going to uh go down that easy, but I

8:06could be wrong. I mean, the White Sox

8:08are playing better baseball to be

8:10honest, but I don't know. Davis Martin

8:14had a great start to the season and he

8:15tailed off at the end. Actually, both of

8:17these pitchers had a great start to the

8:19season and tailed off towards the end.

8:21Uh, might see some runs here. I don't

8:23know how to bet it to be honest, so I'm

8:25going to stay off this one.

8:28>> Yeah, I'm glad you brought up Davis

8:29Martin. um reason I don't think you've

8:31seen him yet in the playoffs and and the

8:34reason that they're kind of I think

8:35hesitant to put him out there is he had

8:37a a calf injury late in the season. Um

8:40didn't get a ton of publicity but like

8:44it's definitely something I read that he

8:45is is still potentially dealing with. So

8:49I think that's why you you haven't

8:50you've seen them hesitant to go to him

8:53so far in the postseason. Um it's going

8:55to be here's the thing. It's going to be

8:57really interesting to to see how the

8:59White Socks manage this game and how

9:02this game is going to go. Like the

9:03reason Tokyo Brandon, I think I I am

9:06agreeing with you, it's really difficult

9:07to bet this series in this White Socks

9:09Guardians game is because Will Venal is

9:12literally just managing inning by

9:14inning. Like the plan changes very

9:16quickly. Brian and I texted on um

9:19Tuesday during that game. Listen,

9:21sometimes you make a bad decision that

9:23that works out. putting Grant Taylor in

9:26to the end of that game on on Tuesday

9:29was not a great decision. Um he gave up

9:32two balls that were about a foot away

9:34from going over the wall. And if either

9:36of those balls leaves the ballpark,

9:39suddenly everyone's like that was a

9:41terrible decision, right? Like putting

9:43Grant Taylor in after, you know,

9:44throwing four innings, uh it was clear

9:47in the eighth inning uh that his, you

9:50know, his stuff wasn't super sharp and

9:52he he kind of just got away with it at

9:54the end of the game. um how I think the

9:56white if you're the White Sox and you're

9:58venomable, you absolutely cannot mess up

10:03having Hagen Smith and Grant Taylor for

10:06game four in my opinion. Like that is

10:09your best chance to win a game, one of

10:12these three games the rest of the way is

10:15to be able to have Hagen Smith and Grant

10:16Taylor go as many innings as possible in

10:19the same game. I think Grant Taylor's

10:22unavailable today. I I I know again I

10:24didn't think he was going to be

10:25available in game two, but after

10:27throwing in game two and after Adele and

10:30um I forget who else it was took, you

10:32know, hit the ball basically about an

10:34inch away from going out of the

10:35ballpark. I think you you shelf Taylor

10:37till game four because if you lose

10:40today, not a big deal. You still have

10:42two cracks to win it. Here is how I see

10:44the pitching going for the White Socks.

10:46You're going to get Nukem to open and

10:49then Venible is going to just try to buy

10:51himself time to see what is going on in

10:54the game. Meaning, do I have a lead? Am

10:56I behind? I think if it's still tied

10:58after Nukem, he goes to another guy to

11:02to basically see what's going on.

11:03Whether it's Davis Martin, it could be

11:05Eric Fetty, uh he could go uh Noah

11:08Schultz, Sandlin, you know, like he's

11:12not going to you and because I saw like

11:14Hagen Smith balk innings. I don't think

11:16you're gonna see Hagen Smith early in

11:17this game because I I just don't think

11:20it's in his best interest to burn him

11:23unless he thinks Hagen Smith is g is

11:25gonna go in and close it out for the

11:26win. So, if the White Socks get to like

11:29the seventh inning or so with a lead, I

11:31think you see Hagen Smith come in and

11:33try to finish the game and they'll go

11:34for the win today. I So, I'm I'm I'm

11:37guessing Hagen Smith has been told

11:39you're either going to be ready to close

11:40this game or open tomorrow. that that's

11:44how I think that they're going to play

11:45it. So, what that means is tied or

11:49behind, I think you're going to see the

11:50guys you really haven't seen yet this

11:52series. Fetty for a couple, maybe Davis

11:55Martin if he's healthy, um some of the

11:57bullpen guys because the White Socks

11:59absolutely cannot mess up the Hagen

12:02Smith, Grant Taylor for like six innings

12:04in game four to win this series. If

12:07that's is that enough to put you on the

12:09Guardians,

12:10maybe. I mean, if you know, like, let's

12:13say, you know, Brian, that you don't

12:15have to see Smith or or Taylor here.

12:18Guardians at a plus price kind of makes

12:21a little bit of sense, but man, like the

12:24White Socks, they've just been going for

12:25the jugular jugular all series. And if

12:28they get that lead, like rest assured,

12:30he's going to try to win the game today.

12:31That's why this makes that's why this is

12:33such a difficult handicap.

12:36Maybe uh with the information the way

12:39it's playing out in your mind uh gives

12:41us a little bit more support on the

12:43over. I think because you are I think

12:44you'll get lesser pitchers in the game.

12:46Uh he they don't need to win. They've

12:48proven they can win in Cleveland. Um

12:51obviously they do want to win but it's

12:53not a priority. Uh while it's a priority

12:56for Cleveland.

12:57>> Yeah. Like there's a there's a scenario

12:59where the the Guardians have a a lead in

13:02this game and they just let Eric Fetty

13:04go out there and pitch the last five

13:06innings or or something like that where

13:08it's like, you know, he he needs

13:10innings. He hasn't really pitched he

13:11hasn't pitched all playoffs, I don't

13:13think. Uh maybe he appeared in the

13:14Astros series at one point, but I think

13:16you could see something like that where

13:18if the Guardians take an early lead,

13:20they just hand the ball to one of the

13:22starters that they haven't been using as

13:23a starter and say, "Go finish this

13:25game." And uh yeah, if that's the case

13:27and you're seeing someone like a Fetti

13:29or a Davis Martin the second time

13:31through the order, I think you may have

13:33some chances for for some runs in that

13:35scenario. So yeah, that's a good that's

13:36a good uh good point.

13:40All right, let's move on. Tokyo Brandon,

13:42I'll let you kick this one off. Uh

13:44Yamamoto was incredible last night.

13:45Brian and I talked about that game

13:48yesterday. I had a feeling that uh it

13:50was a little mispriced with Yamamoto

13:52against Sale. I have Yamamoto being the

13:54better starter. I think Yav I think the

13:56Dodgers are I would say slightly a

13:58better team. Uh and they got the job

14:00done. That being said, game four much

14:03more interesting to me. Um I think this

14:05is a much uh more com like sort of

14:08competitive matchup both ways, but

14:10surprisingly the books are telling you

14:12that this is the the the more

14:14advantageous spot for the Dodgers with

14:16how they're pricing this game. So

14:17Dodgers Braves game four, Tokyo Brandon,

14:20kick us off.

14:22Yeah, Tyler Molly going and uh Glassnau.

14:27Um

14:28Tyler versus Tyler. So, uh Molly's not a

14:32guy who I've liked a lot when he was in

14:36San Francisco. Uh but my numbers like

14:39him a lot. Um he's been pitching well in

14:42the playoffs. Uh and

14:45his numbers against the Dodgers really

14:47good actually. 208 average against and a

14:50580 OPS against and that's in 130 at

14:53bats against. So both of these pitchers

14:55actually have a good history against the

14:57guys they're facing. Tyler Molli's only

14:59walking 24% of the guys that he's

15:01striking out. Those are dead even

15:03numbers with Tyler Glass now. So he's

15:06getting slighted in as far as I'm

15:08concerned here. I think the Braves plus

15:10one and a half will be pretty good play

15:12here. Um,

15:15unfortunately for the Braves, Tanner

15:16Scott won't be pitching today to uh barf

15:20on the mound again because he appeared

15:21last night and almost barfed on the

15:24mound. So, uh, that's a disadvantage for

15:27them. But, uh, aside from Tanner Scott

15:30and Diaz, the two guys they used

15:32yesterday, their bullpen's been really

15:34good. Um, so I expect a lowscoring game

15:38because both pitchers have pitched well

15:40against the lineups that they're facing.

15:42I would go either first five under or uh

15:45take Atlanta with the plus one and a

15:48half runs. Uh it's probably not a great

15:51number. Uh let's see. Minus 144. Not too

15:55bad. Uh that's how I would go. One of

15:58those two directions.

16:01>> Brian, I thought Tanner Scott was fine

16:02last night. He worked around a walk. It

16:04was a pretty clean inning. and Edwin

16:06Diaz, other than that leadoff double,

16:08buckled in and thankfully that fly ball

16:11didn't go far enough to uh test the

16:13there's no reason to tag and go home

16:14when you're down two, which preserved

16:16your nice plus money winner on the

16:18Dodgers. Um so Dodgers Braves I guess I

16:21can't get over the fact here that it's

16:22like

16:25why why are the Braves I'm sorry. Why

16:27are the Dodgers am I like h how are they

16:30bigger favorites here than they were

16:31yesterday is I guess what I I I'm not

16:34really you know sort of trying to trying

16:36to wrap my head around. Uh Tyler Molly

16:38>> don't like Molly.

16:40>> Yeah. Well, see the thing is like Mal Mi

16:42I think the books were were a little bit

16:43concerned with the abdominal injury that

16:45that he reported before game one. He

16:48said he hasn't felt it since and he went

16:50out and pitched seven innings. So that

16:52so if that quote unquote tweak occurred

16:55prior to game uh two in the wild card

16:59series, he went out and threw seven

17:00innings and says he hasn't field it felt

17:02it since. Sounds like a non-issue to me,

17:05Brian. What do you see uh Braves

17:07Dodgers?

17:08>> Well, two things. Um they seem to

17:09overpriced glass now every game. Uh he's

17:12a big strikeout pitcher. He's a

17:13well-known pitcher. Um and he's good

17:17pitcher. Uh Molly, that was that was my

17:20thought process was the if he if he does

17:24he goes out and pitches and it does come

17:27back again, it's going to shorten his uh

17:30his start. So they're thinking they

17:33could probably get five, six innings out

17:35of glass now and you may only get three

17:36or four innings out of Molly. That's the

17:38only way he's not re I reason I could

17:40see it. Uh I'm I'm in agreement. Uh the

17:43line's too high here on the Dodgers uh

17:46after I played them yesterday. Uh but um

17:52I I'm not finding a whole lot in this

17:55game uh to play it in the situation as

17:58TB pointed out. Maybe the one one and a

18:00half with uh with Atlanta. It's a

18:03lowscoring game. Seven and a half. Let

18:05me see what uh what the spread is here.

18:08You can get Atlanta plus the one and a

18:10half in the 145 range. That's that's not

18:14too bad. Um, but I think the Dodgers a

18:17little bit over overpriced here, but I

18:20don't know if there's enough for me to

18:23get involved at this point. If I knew

18:24Molly would go five uh five really good

18:27innings, I would be on Atlanta here. The

18:29question is

18:31I I there's less of a chance for him to

18:34go five than it is for Glass now. And

18:36then you got to get into the bullpens.

18:37And um both very good bullpens, but

18:41we'll see how that happens. But uh I

18:43don't see enough to get into get

18:44involved in this one.

18:47>> Let let me ask you this though, Brian.

18:48Why does why does Mi need to pitch deep

18:50in this game for you to to for you to

18:52like the Braves? I mean, the bullpen

18:53game worked so good in game two. Why

18:55can't that work again here? It could,

18:57but when you're using the bullpen guys

18:59more often than you want to, and Molly's

19:02a guy, as TB pointed out, he's had

19:04really good numbers against this team,

19:06and he's had he's been on a really nice

19:07role. So, I I would want to get at least

19:10five out of Molly here. Um, I don't want

19:13to put too much pressure on the best

19:15Atlanta relievers because those guys

19:17have carried them all season long and

19:20the less innings. I even talked about

19:22that, you know, with Sale yesterday.

19:25Yeah, he's been there before the whole

19:26thing, but you know, he's got up there

19:28in in pitch in uh innings pitched on the

19:31season and eventually, you know, good

19:34teams are going to hit you and that's

19:36what the Dodgers got a little bit of him

19:38yesterday.

19:40>> Yeah, I mean, um I I still

19:44I guess I it's it's funny because

19:45Dodgers got the win. I bet the Dodgers

19:47yesterday. Um, but I came away with from

19:50that game like less impressed with the

19:53Dodgers than the Braves, if that makes

19:55sense. Like they still didn't really

19:57hit. Um, I mean Kik Hernandez, you know,

20:01gets the two-run bomb and and that sort

20:03of set the tone. I kind of felt like

20:05they would like back their way into

20:08three runs and it was all Yamamoto would

20:10need.

20:10>> I kind of feel like they need a they're

20:12going to need more than three to win

20:14this game. um with with glass now and

20:16then you know the the whoever the

20:18Dodgers decide to go to out of the

20:19bullpen. Um so yeah, I mean I think I

20:22agree with TB um Braves plus one and a

20:25half if if it comes into range. That's

20:28the one thing with the Dodgers. They do

20:30tend to take money on a regular basis.

20:32Now they didn't really yesterday which

20:34was surprising to me. That was kind of

20:36the one game uh game one Dodgers took

20:39some money. Game two, Dodgers took a

20:42boatload of money. huge move in the

20:44money line from like where it opened to

20:46where it went off in game two yesterday.

20:49The Dodgers money wasn't really there.

20:50So, I I wonder if it comes back here. If

20:52it does, I think I'd be willing to play

20:54back against that uh if that plus one

20:56and a half with the Braves drops like 10

20:58to 15 cents, which is very possible it

21:01could. Go ahead, Brian.

21:02>> Yeah, I talked about this yesterday that

21:04they were talking about uh dropping

21:06Otani because he's really struggling. I

21:08read another article and they said they

21:09will. They don't know how far down

21:11they're going to move him, but it's a

21:13little bit of a change since something

21:14they've had all season long. Sometimes

21:16that sparks the team sometimes, yeah,

21:18>> just the opposite. So, we'll have to

21:20see, but he has not been prime time

21:24Otani, and that's one of the reasons why

21:26this offense has struggled. Uh Tucker's

21:29coming along a little bit lately uh in

21:31the last couple of months, but overall,

21:33yeah, the team's been a little bit

21:35disappointing. And uh yeah, Andy Pas

21:40hasn't done nearly as much since he came

21:42back from the injury. So uh they're not

21:44don't look to be a team hitting on all

21:47cylinders offensively.

21:49>> Yeah. And I guess like the the

21:51counterargument when it comes to the

21:52Dodgers is

21:54>> it, and this is something we've talked

21:56about all season, they have so many good

21:57players, they're so deep that it's like,

22:01>> oh, okay, so Otani is not hitting. Um,

22:04let's put Kik Hernandez in the lineup

22:06who's just really good against

22:07left-handed uh pitching, two-run homer,

22:10like they they have so many guys that

22:12could could step up um that it's it's

22:15still like they're one team that, you

22:17know, like just give you a comparison.

22:20If Tatis and Machado and Merryill are

22:23doing nothing for the Padres's, they

22:25don't win, right? Typically, they they

22:27they they're not going to win games. But

22:29like if if Otani is not do you know if

22:31Otani and bets are cold it's probably

22:33Freeman it's probably Will Smith it's

22:35probably Tucker maybe it's Pas that is

22:38TB I I feel like you want to agree with

22:40that they have so many

22:42>> Yeah I mean yeah this is the difference

22:44between elite teams and average to

22:47mediocre teams is like you know the

22:49Orioles if their best hitters are not

22:52hitting the seven eight nine guys are

22:54not going to win the game for you but

22:55the team like the Dodgers the Braves Uh

22:59even the Brewers, although the Brewers

23:00are not exactly a powerhitting team, but

23:03they're six through nine guys, can get

23:05singles just like the one through five

23:07guys. So, uh but the Dodgers just do it

23:09with home runs rather than singles like

23:11the Brewers. But you're right, this is

23:13what separates elite teams, you know, uh

23:16Freeman could step up. Uh Edmund could

23:19step up. They got Tucker could step up

23:21and and the these guys are hitting

23:22seven, eight, nine. So, that's the

23:25difference between a really good team

23:26and and a SOS so team. Yeah, like Brian

23:29even point Brian hat I know he's Dodgers

23:31fan like no one even knows about

23:33Depollin yet. He he he might end up

23:35being the best of all of them when it

23:37when it's all you know at some point in

23:38time um insane upside there and and you

23:42know you could see what happens when he

23:43comes into the game and Atlanta's really

23:45not sure how to pitch him because

23:46they've never seen him before. I mean

23:48that the the options are endless for the

23:50Dodgers. Uh it's why I think they

23:52ultimately probably win this series, but

23:55it's I I think I don't think it's just

23:56going to be a walk in the park uh in

23:58Atlanta today.

24:01>> Um let's go to the chat.

24:03>> Wants Dodgers.

24:05>> Yeah, I I don't know if I I think I

24:08don't I don't buy into that. NFL wants

24:10so team to go to the Super Bowl. MLB

24:12wants so team. They're going to make

24:14their money no matter who's in the World

24:15Series. They don't give a rip. They

24:19don't want the Kings going to the uh

24:22>> Yeah, right.

24:23>> That was the only time in the past that

24:24I can actually say that Yeah. something

24:26was up.

24:28>> The NBA is not going to fold though.

24:30>> You know, if the Kings go and you know

24:34>> that that was one of the great alltime

24:36robberies. Um that that team absolutely

24:38deserved to be

24:39>> playing for a championship. I love Jason

24:42Williams when I was a kid. I actually

24:43had Sacramento Kings gear just because

24:45of him because they were just so cool.

24:47um when I was uh when I was a kid.

24:50>> Um Adam Pudbiter says, "Uh good morning

24:53guys. Hey Brian, is that oddslogic code

24:55still available?"

24:56>> I believe it is. It's wt.

25:01Leonardo lic.

25:08>> Go grab it.

25:09>> And is that they just uh upgraded, by

25:12the way, just yesterday. I haven't had a

25:14chance to look at it. So they it's even

25:15better than it was last week. So, yeah.

25:18>> So, so if you go to wt.buzzleonardo,

25:22it takes you

25:23>> it takes you that's the short that's the

25:25shortcut to get there. Yeah.

25:27>> All right. That's awesome. Yeah, that's

25:28a must. That that's a mustave. Um if if

25:31you're trying to do this and do this on

25:34your own and and win, you need a good

25:36odds screen. And uh Oddslogic for for

25:39the money is is and the layout, you

25:42know, it's as good as of a product as

25:44you're going to find out there for sure.

25:48Shout out to my guy, Alex Ran. First,

25:50uh, thank you for the donation. Uh,

25:52appreciate, uh, you know, appreciate the

25:54donations when, you know, you're going

25:55to get all the games. Um, but he comes

25:57in and says, "This is why I listen to

25:59you three. You can't get uh this type of

26:02in-depth breakdown on YouTube with

26:03pitching, bullpen, manager thinking,

26:05etc." Yeah. I mean, listen, we do this

26:07every day, uh, six days a week, all

26:10season long. I like to think it puts us

26:12in a uh pretty good position to to

26:14thoroughly break these games down when

26:16the playoffs come around. Go ahead,

26:18Brian.

26:18>> Yeah, there's somebody in one of the

26:20chats the other day that mentioned that,

26:22oh, I hear too many ums or a what? I

26:25said, we're not professionals. I said,

26:27if you want to listen to professional

26:29talking heads, turn on ESPN. I says, if

26:31you want to win money,

26:33>> they're not giving you anything there

26:34that can make you win money. So it, you

26:37know, we're we're

26:38>> yeah,

26:39>> I'm not I don't believe, you know,

26:41>> I have no problem with that. I listen to

26:43people to try to tell you that I don't

26:45know.

26:45>> If you're paying attention to what

26:47someone looks like or how someone talks

26:49instead of the betting information,

26:51you're never going to win anyway. You're

26:52going to be a losing better for the rest

26:53of your life. So give me a break.

26:55>> Yeah. Well, and we come in and do this

26:57show off the dome. Like I mean, granted,

26:59like we know what we're going to talk

27:01about a little bit, but

27:03>> no no script here. No teleprompter.

27:05>> Yeah,

27:06>> I'm looking at my dog right now. I don't

27:08have a teleprompter. It's all I got.

27:10He's not giving me any information.

27:11>> He's giving you any winners.

27:13>> He doesn't give winners. No, he just

27:16takes.

27:17>> He He only takes

27:20>> He only takes. Yeah, he he's

27:22>> My attire is not is not sending him into

27:25a barking frenzy. Not yet.

27:28>> Some giant bananas coming into the room.

27:30>> If you were out front if you were out

27:31front, he could see you out the window.

27:33He'd be bark. And that's for for

27:35absolute certainty. But um but yeah,

27:37let's uh uh but yeah, let's let's move

27:39on.

27:39>> I was out front. Your your your

27:42significant other would be calling the

27:43police. I think

27:45>> that's

27:48Yeah,

27:49>> I'm in the wrong part of town.

27:50>> You You would look out of place in

27:52Onida, New York. That is for

27:55Yeah.

27:57>> Um probably not New York City, though.

27:59You fit right in in New York City where

28:01the next

28:01>> fit in. Absolutely. with with with with

28:04a hoe on each arm. Absolutely.

28:07>> Uh listen, I think the Yankees are

28:09probably thrilled uh that this game is

28:11back in the Bronx because the trap

28:14turning into a little bit of a house of

28:15horrors for them. Um they did not play

28:18very good in the in the first two games

28:20of the series. They have not played

28:22great at the trap. You know, and again,

28:24I'm going off of of memory a little bit

28:26here, but like I don't know. I just feel

28:28like the Yankees don't play particularly

28:30well in that building. Uh, now they get

28:32to come back home.

28:35Brian, it's really tough for me to see

28:36the Yankees getting swept here in this

28:38series. I thought they'd win this series

28:40going in, but I also thought that they'd

28:43find a way to get one of those games in

28:45in in Tampa, and now they come back down

28:48two nothing, but they have a a

28:50considerable, I would say, advantage in

28:52game three with Freed over Nick Martinez

28:55and this game being at home. Question

28:57is, do you want to take a stab at them

28:59at that price? Yankees raised game

29:00three. How you seeing this one?

29:02>> Yeah, Martinez against Freed. Freed the

29:03lefty. We're looking at about a 160

29:07price on the Yankees. Seven to the over,

29:09seven and a half to the under. A little

29:11bit more. So,

29:14uh yeah, I had the same agreement. I I I

29:17thought that the Yankees uh would take

29:20some money here. It's not. It's It's

29:24about where it opened up, so it hasn't

29:26been much action on it, but I'd rather

29:28have Free Martinez. Mine has had a great

29:31season, but I'd also rather have the

29:34more consistent team that doesn't have

29:35to depend on home runs, and that's Tampa

29:37Bay. Um, the Yankees really have not

29:41been a very good hitting team this year.

29:43I know I know their best players been

29:45out all year, and uh that's going to

29:47affect anybody. Uh, but overall, are

29:51they the better hitting team than Tampa

29:53Bay? I don't know. Uh, it's the spot

29:56screams the Yankees. If they're going to

29:58win any game, this would be give them

30:00the best chance of winning. And I do

30:02think they're going to win. But do I

30:03really want to lay this number? Uh Tampa

30:06Bay is a young, hungry team that has

30:08been knocked out of the playoffs many

30:09times. Are they satisfied with having a

30:12two nothing lead? I don't think so. I

30:13think they want to go out and win here.

30:16And they played very well against the

30:17Yankees. Even in the regular season,

30:19Tampa Bay was a good tough matchup for

30:22the Yankees.

30:24I think the Yankees going to win. I

30:26can't get to the point of laying this

30:28kind of number. Um, that's the way I'm

30:30looking at it. Tampa Bay is too well of

30:33a coach, too such a great organization

30:36that they're never a dead team when it

30:39comes to a spot. There's there's never a

30:40spot out there. It's like Milwaukee

30:42where you could say, "Oh, this is

30:44probably not a good spot." Both of these

30:46teams have proven to me all season long

30:48that, you know, you a lot of teams you

30:50can handicap the spots and say, "This is

30:52clearly a spot that it's not important."

30:55They they have enough depth on these on

30:57Milwaukee and uh in Tampa Bay to be able

30:59to win these type of games. So like the

31:01Yankees can't lay that number.

31:04>> Tokyo Brandon Yankees raised in the

31:06Bronx. How do you see this one?

31:08>> You guys in the chat are probably right.

31:10I need a feather for this hat. That

31:12would just top it off. Uh and I would

31:15set myself apart from Curious George's

31:18friend. So yeah, I might get a feather

31:21for it for the next for the next time. I

31:23I have about 50 hats in my closet. So,

31:25anyways, I might get a feather. That's a

31:27good idea, you guys. I like that. Um,

31:30here's how I see this guy. Look, the the

31:32Rays should not be m minus what what are

31:35they? M Nobody should be minus 166

31:38against the Rays. Uh, Rays are too good.

31:41I don't care who's pitching. Uh, so

31:46here's how I see this coming out. Freed

31:48has amazing numbers against these guys.

31:50So runs are going to be hard to come by.

31:52But Nick Martinez,

31:54even if I put his expected numbers in,

31:56he's he's a slightly better than

31:58mediocre. And his numbers against the

32:01Yankees are mediocre as well. So can the

32:04Yankees score two or three runs on him?

32:07If they can,

32:09and if they can not drop the ball three

32:14times, I think they can win the game.

32:16But they play like the bad news bears.

32:18So, uh, you know, it's it's it's swing

32:22for the fences and and drop the ball. I

32:25mean, they honestly look like a high

32:26school team. It's really embarrassing

32:28watching this team play defense, but if

32:31they can if they can if they can cobble

32:34cobble together three runs, I think they

32:37can win this game. Actually, I expect

32:38this to be extremely lowcoring. Freed

32:41Frerieded will hold the Rays down. Uh,

32:43they're not scoring four runs against

32:45Max Freed. Um, I don't think I could be

32:49wrong, but uh I see this like a two

32:52nothing game after five innings and then

32:54if the Yankees can avoid uh dropping the

32:57ball three times, yeah, I think they

32:59might be able to hold on. The Rays have

33:01a better bullpen, but like I've said

33:02before, the bullpen only matters if

33:04you're winning or if it's a close game.

33:09>> Yeah, I I wouldn't be I wouldn't be that

33:11surprised if the Yankees blew up Nick

33:13Martinez. Like it it's that that's where

33:16now if Martinez can be good and get the

33:20ball to some of the Rays better

33:21relievers like don't count the Rays out

33:24in like a like a close game where they

33:26can get the ball to their sort of like

33:27leverage bullpen arms and try to go go

33:30because I do think the Rays will go for

33:32it here. I don't I don't think if you if

33:34I think the Rays I think Kevin Cash have

33:37been been around long enough where it's

33:38like don't let the Yankees get one,

33:41right? you let the Yankees get one and

33:43suddenly now game four is at the in the

33:45Bronx and then they've got momentum and

33:47and before you before you blink you're

33:50in a winner take all series in game

33:51five. So I don't think the Rays are

33:53going to like take the foot off the gas

33:55here at all. My my concern in this one

33:58is Nick Martinez this year has a a

34:02bottom 5% in Major League Baseball

34:05strikeout rate. He doesn't strike guys

34:06out. He doesn't get a ton of swing and

34:08miss. um he he lives in the zone. He's

34:11not gonna he's not gonna put guys on.

34:13He's not gonna walk anyone. But the way

34:15that the Yankees set up, especially with

34:17some of these uh I I've said all year

34:19they set up better against right-handed

34:21pitching. Um especially with the current

34:24lineup, right? So where where they where

34:27Aaron Judge being out really hurts this

34:30team is against lefties. Uh because the

34:32Yankees are already not going to have

34:34their optimal lineup against left-handed

34:36pitching. against the right-handed

34:38pitcher, you've got Luis Garcia in

34:40there. Cody Bellinger has been really

34:42good since coming off the IIL. Ben Rice

34:44is better against right-handed pitching.

34:47And and you know, if you look at this

34:49team where it's like, okay, well, they

34:50need to rely on the long ball a little

34:52bit. I I kind of think Nick Martinez is

34:55a guy he can take deep a couple of

34:56times, especially in this ballpark. We

34:59know Nick Martinez, some of his success

35:01this year has come from the fact that he

35:03plays at Tropicana Field. It's not a

35:05It's not a great ballpark for for

35:07hitters. The ball doesn't carry inside

35:10that dome like it does at some of the

35:12other stadiums. It tends to be a pretty

35:14good pitcher park. Whereas like Yankee

35:16Stadium I I think is a little bit better

35:19for for the hitters at least over the

35:21course of the season. Now I I don't know

35:24uh Brian's our weather guy. I don't know

35:26how some of the temperatures are are

35:27going to affect the way the ball travels

35:29here, so on and so forth, but it just

35:31seems like the Yankees could take him

35:33deep a couple of times and like put

35:35themselves in pretty good position to

35:36win game three. So, I I do lean toward

35:38the Yankees here, but that price still

35:41puts me off because you're still you're

35:42still going against the Rays who I think

35:45you can make a case for the better team

35:47all around here. Um, and giving them a

35:49pretty good plus price, but but my gut

35:51says this one is where I I think the

35:53Yankees get one. I don't know. I just

35:55don't see them getting swept. Uh but

35:57yeah, I'm kind of coming around to maybe

35:59the Rays V and the better of these two

36:00teams.

36:02>> Game opened at minus 145. So if you

36:04could have grabbed that number, I might

36:06have been a little more agreeable

36:08because Freed has just been amazing

36:10against these guys, but minus 165. The

36:14raise should not be minus 165 dogs to

36:17anybody in my

36:20>> Yeah, so it did jump. Um that that's a

36:22good point. I I had minus 145 jotted

36:24down here. It seems like it's jumped

36:26from the open. I guess not surprising. I

36:29I guess the common um I think most

36:32people will look at this and say the

36:34Yankees are going to get one in the

36:35Bronx. And I I may be most people in

36:38that one. I kind of think they get one

36:40in the Bronx here. So, uh

36:42>> could be tight though. Could be tight.

36:44If Martinez is on, it'll be a tight

36:47game. But like you said, he he could get

36:49blown up as well. We'll see because some

36:51of the Yankees bats have been cold. Not

36:53only have they been dropping the ball,

36:54but uh it's about time for someone to

36:57catch fire in that lineup. I think maybe

36:59Ben Rice. So, we'll see.

37:04All right, let's head to the late game.

37:06Uh Brewers Padres's definitely has been

37:09the I think kind of the craziest series

37:12so far. Um, I think if you look at the

37:1427 innings these two teams have played,

37:18I mean, it's been it's been pretty much

37:20neck and neck. I think you could make

37:22case that the Padres's have have been

37:23the better team over the 27 innings, but

37:26you know, the Brewers end up losing last

37:27night despite out hitting the Padres's

37:2911 to6. I think it's just been a really,

37:31really good competitive series. Uh, and

37:34now we go to a game four that looks like

37:36it's going to be another really, really

37:37good competitive game. Uh, Brian, we've

37:40got I'll let you kick this one off. I

37:42guess we have some question marks with

37:43the pitching,

37:45>> but I kind kind of feel like I know what

37:46I'm gonna get from both of these teams.

37:48Uh, so where are you going with Brewers

37:50Padres's?

37:51>> Yeah, right now it's undecided for

37:53Milwaukee against Beller. Uh, we're

37:55looking at uh basically San Diego's

37:57about a 112 favorite, seven and a half

37:59to the under. Um, I've I have an idea

38:03that Gasser will get uh the majority of

38:06the innings for Milwaukee. uh they have

38:10three or four guys that have pitched in

38:12their starting rotation so far this

38:13season, I would expect them to use a

38:16couple of those guys. So, uh even though

38:18they had like a bullpen game, um they're

38:22they're going to be in pretty good

38:23shape. They they've got a very deep

38:24pitching staff for Milwaukee and so I

38:27would prefer any of those guys over

38:29Buler right now. So, it's a slight lean

38:30there for Milwaukee. Um

38:34you we've got Mason Miller on the

38:37paternity list. I haven't heard that his

38:39wife has popped yet. So, don't know if

38:41he will be in the game or not. It it

38:44really didn't matter last game because I

38:47don't think they were going to use him

38:48anyway. So, I think it was like they go,

38:51"Hey, you know, we're going to give him

38:52the time off to spend time with his

38:53wife." And and everybody go, "Well,

38:55should he go? Should I don't think he

38:57was going to pitch anyway, so it didn't

38:58matter." Um, I will say it was from a

39:02comedy standpoint, I thought it was kind

39:04of funny. Somebody on Twitter had

39:06pointed out when they were playing in

39:07Milwaukee that Booking.com was one of

39:10their major, you know, major promoters

39:13and they had their had it right behind

39:15the batter and Michael King was on the

39:18mound for San Diego. And so it basically

39:21said booking.com

39:24and uh somebody pointed that out. I

39:25thought that was funny and that was kind

39:27of clever. Says it's bad enough pitch

39:28there. Now they want you to boo their

39:30starting pitcher. So uh but that was

39:32kind of cool. But, uh, if I'm playing

39:34this one, I'm thinking for a way to play

39:36the Brewers. Um, yes, the two teams have

39:39been right there the whole time. I just

39:42I was I was a Buer fan earlier in the

39:45season. He has not done much for me now.

39:47And I think that uh the Milwaukee

39:49Brewers have a better pitching lineup in

39:52this game to go than San Diego. So,

39:55slight slight edge with Milwaukee right

39:57now. It's the best number I've seen out

39:59there is like plus 100. If I get maybe

40:02plus 108, I may be on the walker.

40:06>> Yeah, Tokyo Brandon. I I haven't been a

40:08huge fan of Walker Beller, but I am kind

40:11of fan a fan of playoff Walker Beller,

40:13who always seems to reserve his best

40:16efforts of the season for the playoffs.

40:18Um, in his uh career, 19 appearances, 18

40:23starts in the playoffs, 3.04 RA, 114

40:28strikeouts. So, I I mean, I don't I

40:31don't know what there is to that, but at

40:33at the very least, he seems to show up

40:36when the lights are the brightest. The

40:37question is, can he show up to keep the

40:39Padres season going here? Padres's

40:41Brewers, how do you see this one?

40:44>> Jack Faulk with the very cute little

40:46doggy boots on the ground at the White

40:48Socks game. Enjoy that, my friend. Uh,

40:51should be a pretty good game. Should see

40:53some runs in there, so enjoy that game.

40:55Freeird is also in the house. Uh, number

40:59one, all sports in 2026, you can get the

41:02rest of my KBO, Japanese, and MLB for

41:05$99. So, that's my special. You guys

41:07need to tell them what your specials are

41:09before we close the show out. Um, I

41:12would promote all of us, but our double

41:14play is not there anymore. So, um, uh, I

41:17don't know why the Brewers are underdogs

41:19here. Makes no sense to me. They're 10

41:21times better team in my opinion. And

41:24Robert Gasser, look, look at his last

41:26starts. five innings, seven innings, six

41:28inning. He's given up two earned runs in

41:30three starts. Uh he's a much better

41:33pitcher than Walker Beller. And the

41:34Brewers are a much better I don't know

41:36why they're underdogs here. I think

41:37they're going to destroy the Padres's

41:39today. Maybe I'm high. Well, I probably

41:42am, but I don't see I don't see

41:45>> I'm sure you didn't make the show.

41:48>> I was something.

41:51But uh I don't see why the Brewers are

41:52underdogs. And I think they I think they

41:55take the Padres's to the woodshed here.

41:57I like Gasser much better than Buer. So

42:00that's my take on the game.

42:03>> So

42:04some interesting stuff in in play here.

42:06So first of all, someone in the chat

42:08said, "You don't take criticism." Well,

42:10you guys are not very professional. No,

42:12like listen, we're just uh we're we're

42:14professional betterers. They just threw

42:16a camera in front of us. Like I'm

42:18actually we've gotten a lot more

42:21professional on the show. We we were

42:22doing the show five years ago. It would

42:24have I think we've all gotten better on

42:26camera. Um the problem is if you go get

42:29a nice like uh communications degree,

42:33you're probably not a degenerate

42:35gambler. So you you can't learn the only

42:37way to learn this stuff and be able to

42:38articulate in a betting format, you got

42:40to do it for a very long time. So uh you

42:43know, we are professionals, but we're

42:44professional betterers. Um, not like to,

42:47you know, like like the guy said, we're

42:49we we we're just coming in here to talk

42:51about the games. Um, real quick before I

42:53get back to the game track, man, what's

42:55the sharpest sports book odds on odds

42:57logic? Uh, I would say Pinnacle is

42:59pretty sharp. Brian, do you do you have

43:01any other books that you look at that

43:02are sharper just for a baseline to

43:05starting point on odds logic?

43:08>> Yeah, I' I've got obviously the the

43:11markets, you know, the cali the poly

43:13market and that kind of stuff. I believe

43:16um Pinnacle they have it as primary

43:18market. I also like Betwar

43:23Heritage. I've I've always had problems

43:25beating Heritage so I have to respect

43:28them.

43:28>> Uh Circa in Las Vegas, South Point in

43:31Las Vegas. Those are the ones that I

43:32have at the front. Then at the back end

43:34I have the DraftKings, the FanDuels, the

43:37Fanatics, Hard Rock, all that kind of

43:38thing. So, I've got my sharp books on

43:41the left, I've got my public books on

43:44the right, and when I can uh take what

43:47the sharp guys are telling me on those

43:48books and bet a decent number at the

43:51other, and that's how you make money.

43:53>> Yeah. And and that's right. Like that's

43:55the reason you want to know which books

43:57are sharper than the others is typically

44:00they're they're going to move a line or

44:02or put a line in a position that that

44:04every everyone else is going to end up

44:06coming toward them at some point. So,

44:08Right. Right. Would you say that that's

44:09kind of like it's a good way to like

44:12secure value?

44:13>> Yeah. Anybody who is a good better is

44:17already blocked out of all, you know,

44:18the DraftKings, the FanDuels, and all

44:20those. So, all they're taking in is

44:22public money, people playing parlays,

44:24that kind of thing. If you've got an

44:25account there, don't blow it because

44:27they've got good numbers.

44:28>> Yeah.

44:29>> But, um, so you want to see what they're

44:32betting in in the really good books or

44:33smart books and go over and play it at

44:36the other place.

44:38Uh just to get back to the game for a

44:40second. Um one thing I want to point

44:41out, the Brewers have now lost 12

44:43straight road playoff games.

44:45>> Yes.

44:47>> Uh stuff like that. I'm not a I'm not a

44:49huge fan of like trends and stuff like

44:51that. Listen, this Brewers team was not

44:54the team that lost all those playoff

44:56games. I think some of that is like, you

44:58know, gets it is a little overblown.

45:01Like this team, this Brewers team has

45:04only lost one road playoff game. They

45:06didn't lose the previous 12. So, it's

45:09like, you know, but what what I will say

45:11about them being on the road here and

45:13and and maybe the pricing of this of

45:16this game, I think like yesterday the

45:19Padres's I think were minus 130 minus

45:21135 and they won the game and like I I

45:26thought the matchup was similar to the

45:28matchup today yet now they're only minus

45:31110, right? It's - 110 both ways. I

45:34think what's being priced in here is a

45:37little uncertainty. Uh I think the books

45:39are waiting for Milwaukee to name a

45:41starter and they want to make sure that

45:44that starter's name is not Jacob

45:45Miseroski because they would get

45:47slaughtered on where they would have to

45:48move the number. Now I don't think

45:50there's a chance that you see Miz in

45:52this game. Reason being Tokyo Brandon

45:55shaking his head. Yeah. He's he's talked

45:57about not liking P, you know, he he's

45:59talked about the mound the oppo like the

46:01mound at at Miller Park or American

46:03Family, whatever field is is he he's

46:06more comfortable on it than some of the

46:07visitors mounds. He he would be coming

46:09in off short rest. It just doesn't make

46:12sense for the Brewers to to do something

46:14out of pocket like that because they've

46:17been so good at home and even if they

46:19were to go out and lose 15 to nothing

46:20here, they still have game five at home.

46:23So, I don't think you're going to see

46:24the Brewers do anything crazy. I think

46:27you're going to probably see some sort

46:28of combination of Robert Gasser and Chad

46:31Patrick and we'll and we'll see if we

46:32can get to the ball at the bullpens and

46:34bullpen guys and see if they can close

46:36out the game. What I will say though is

46:38and I'll come to you Tokyo Brandon. I do

46:39think Mason Miller will be available. I

46:42think he'll be in the bullpen here. I

46:43think the reason part of the reason he

46:45was probably okay with missing last

46:48night's game um other than the birth of

46:50his child I think is a is a reason. But

46:52I think part of the reason he was okay

46:54like just leaving his team hanging right

46:56there is he probably wasn't pitching

46:57anyway. He threw 40 pitches in game two

47:01I think 40 something pitches in game

47:02two. I think that was an easy decision

47:05where he probably wasn't going to go

47:07anyway. Um Adrien [ __ ] [ __ ] is is out.

47:11So he but he looked awful in game one.

47:13He looked like there was something not

47:15right in game one. Uh nearly gave up the

47:17lead in that game. I think he actually

47:19did give up the lead in that game. Ended

47:20three to2. Um so he's out. But I do

47:24think you'll see Mason Miller at the end

47:25of this game with the season online for

47:27the Padres's. TV. Go ahead.

47:30>> There's no reason for the Brewers to

47:31force Misowski to start here. um that I

47:36mean what's all the hate against Gasser?

47:3819 innings he's given up two earned

47:40runs. He's the better pitcher anyways.

47:43So there's no reason to force Miserowski

47:45to to start this game. They're probably

47:47going to win it with Gasser. Gasser is

47:49better than Beller. So I don't get I

47:52don't get

47:53>> counterargument. I'll go to Brian here.

47:56I I I don't know if I'm willing to just

47:58say like Robert Gasser at this point is

48:00a better pitcher than Walker Buer even.

48:02But like maybe this year I guess you I I

48:04think his stuff has more upside than

48:06Ber. I think he has had a better season

48:08than Ber. Are you telling me you'd

48:10rather have Robert Gasser on the road at

48:13Petco Park in a playoff game or would

48:15you have rather have Walker Beller at

48:17home? I I think there's an argument to

48:18be made there. Brian, go ahead.

48:22>> I'm between both of you. Buer stats were

48:25when he was younger and healthier than

48:27than they are now. So um I

48:32Yeah, I I if you would ask me coming in

48:34the season, who do I want? I probably

48:36don't want either one of them in my

48:37starting rotation to be honest with you.

48:39Uh they're probably number six starters

48:41if you ask me. But um yeah, we'll see. I

48:44understand both sides.

48:46>> Starting rotation in a playoff game

48:48though, like once you once either one of

48:51these guys get in trouble, the hook is

48:53going to be this short. They're going to

48:54get jerked out of that game so quick.

48:57Either one of these guys.

48:59>> Yeah. So, I don't expect five innings

49:01from anyone here.

49:02>> Yeah, I definitely think like the the

49:05Padres's will be be quicker to make the

49:07move. I think the Brewers probably have

49:09a little bit more of a a plan in place

49:12where they're going to make sure that

49:14they've like no matter what, they're

49:16going to make sure that they have the

49:18exact lineup that they want to go with

49:20for game five. So, it's going to be

49:22Miseroski to the guy they want to the

49:24guy they want, whereas the Padres's, I

49:26think, would would move on from Beller

49:28quicker. Um, Buer, his most recent

49:30postseason was 2024. Um, 360 erra in

49:35three starts. So, again, I I I don't

49:37know if there's anything to that, but

49:39he's a veteran guy that has has seemed

49:41to pitch better in the playoffs, I

49:43guess, is the point I'm trying to make.

49:47>> Fair enough.

49:47>> Okay,

49:49we have

49:50>> you guys promos. Uh, do you have

49:51football promos? Hockey promos?

49:53>> Well, listen, I

49:55>> Oh, sorry, Adam. What do you got? I'm

49:57just going to tell you, listen, I I I

49:58only come on here and really like hammer

50:00the promo home when when it's like I I I

50:03I I don't typically just like sit here

50:06and try to shove it down your throats,

50:08but I have a 5enter in Major League

50:10Baseball today. I'm 5-0 in the playoffs.

50:12So far this year, I've made three 5% MLB

50:16plays in like the last four years. Um I

50:19didn't have one in 23. I didn't have one

50:22in 22. I I had two in 2024 and one in

50:262025. All three of those 5% plays have

50:29won. I've got a 5enter on this slate. I

50:32feel like if there's one play that you

50:33buy from me, the rest of the playoffs,

50:35it should be today. Uh that's my promo.

50:37It's up on the site now. Um and it will

50:39have full breakdown as always. So, uh

50:42yeah, that's all I've got. Brian, go

50:43ahead.

50:44>> Yeah, by Adams by Adams 5%. Um pretty

50:48much I think we can all agree on that.

50:50Uh they just come up with a pro uh a

50:52little special for me going the rest of

50:54this year. Uh last 14 months number one

50:58handicapper way to talk all sports. Uh

51:00they had me as the last 12 months 124

51:03units uh profit. I think I'm higher than

51:05that. Could go back 14. But uh I also al

51:09also made the uh the um situation where

51:14uh they they've got everything. It's

51:16over 80 days of action for $479.

51:20That's from now through the end of the

51:21season. That takes you through all the

51:23sports. NBA is about to start. College

51:25basketball is about to start. We're

51:26getting into football season to a great

51:29football year. I'm 11 and three in in

51:32hockey. So, if anybody wants to save

51:33some money, you can get close to three

51:36months worth of service for only $479.

51:39Uh, and if you're interested in how to

51:40do that, just go to my page on Wager

51:43Talk. And uh that's what wt.bus/bl

51:48and you can uh get my selections.

51:51>> So if you need to find any of us, go to

51:53wageralk.com and just click experts and

51:56you'll see Adam's name, my name, and

51:58Brian's name there. And you'll see all

51:59of our specials on our page. So that's

52:02how you find it.

52:04All right, Brian Hat, I guess one more

52:07for for old time's sake because we've

52:09got four games today. He says, "How

52:10about a parlay? Let let's throw a show

52:13show parlay together here. Uh Tokyo

52:15Brandon, I'll let you go first, then

52:17we'll go to Brian, then we'll go to me.

52:18Uh let's try to put one together. See if

52:20we can finish the year with a win on one

52:23of these. Um because that's probably our

52:24last chance to do so.

52:26>> Sure. Brewers money line. That's easy.

52:30>> Brewers money line for Tokyo Brandon.

52:33Brian Leonard. Give me a uh parlay

52:36>> record in MLB two years in a row. I'll

52:39take them as underdogs. Absolutely. I

52:41will go with the Cleveland team total

52:44over. Uh we're looking at 3 and a half

52:47minus 120. Uh as we talked, uh Chicago

52:51with a two nothing lead. They've got

52:53plenty of time to set up a game with all

52:55their best pitchers. Uh I don't think

52:57this is the game and uh we're going to

53:00get the best effort out of Cleveland.

53:01I'm not a big fan of the Cleveland

53:02offense, but uh I think they can score

53:06four runs against this Chicago team.

53:10Yeah, I I actually have I could end up

53:12with more than one play today. I I

53:14actually have have pretty strong

53:16opinions in in some way, shape, or form

53:18in every game. Um the one I'll I'll go

53:21with for the parlay is the one I

53:23probably won't play because of price,

53:25and that's the Yankees. Uh I feel like

53:27I'm kind of priced out of the Yankees,

53:29but I I really like them to win. I just

53:31I I just think they hold serve at home

53:35and uh at least get this to game four.

53:38uh freed on the mound. I think the

53:40Yankees are in really good position to

53:41to score some runs off Nick Martinez. I

53:44think he's the type of pitcher that they

53:46kind of need to see to get going right

53:48now. Someone that's not going to strike

53:49them out and uh is going to, you know,

53:51kind of allow them to put the ball in

53:53play. I think some of those lefty bats

53:55put balls into the right field seats and

53:57I think the Yankees at least get this uh

54:00to a game four. Um so yeah, that'll be

54:02my leg of the parlay is is Yankees.

54:04Brian, what am I looking at for a Yankee

54:06money line here?

54:08>> Yankee money line right now is

54:11about 165.

54:14>> Yeah, like I said, probably priced out

54:15from a play there. Um, I think Tokyo

54:17Brandon nailed it. You kind of needed to

54:19get that early uh when it was minus 145,

54:22but I guess it could come back. You may

54:24you may have some someone up decide, you

54:26know, some group decide that that price

54:28is too high on the raise and knock it

54:30back down. But yeah, I think the Yankees

54:31find a way today.

54:34All right, we have reached the end of

54:35the show. Um, the three of us will be

54:38back tomorrow. Uh, no matter what. I do

54:40believe there's there's going to be

54:42games no matter what tomorrow. I I think

54:45um because Yeah, there's at least I

54:47think there's at least the going to be

54:49one game tomorrow.

54:51>> I don't know.

54:52>> Well, I guess I guess theoretically

54:54every series could end today, right?

54:56Like there is a potential for every

54:58series to end today if if every team

55:00that's won two games wins. Um, but

55:03hopefully we're here tomorrow because

55:04you know we want to have a show for you.

55:06If not, we'll see you when the next game

55:08is. Um, but yeah, let's have a great day

55:10today. Again, check out the site for

55:12specialists. Tokyo Brandon, a big uh

55:14rest of playoff special. I've got the 5%

55:16play in MLB today and Brian's got

55:19specials on his site uh for hockey and

55:21and whatever else he has going on. Uh,

55:24so have a great day, guys. We'll see you

55:25in the morning.
