17 Websites & Programs That Could Help You Get Money
0:00What if I told you that there are
0:02websites, organizations, and funding
0:04programs that could help you get help?
0:06And most people don't know where to
0:08look. I've already done the homework. My
0:10team and I have gone through and checked
0:12a huge number of funding platforms,
0:14grants, and support programs. And in
0:16this video, I'm pulling together the
0:18ones that are most relevant for your
0:20specific needs. Now, some of these are
0:22grants that you don't have to repay.
0:24Some are crowdfunding platforms where
0:25other people support you, and some are
0:28organizations offering financial
0:30assistance. And where something is a
0:32loan or an investment rather than free
0:34money, I will make that very clear.
0:36Plus, I will even walk you through how
0:39to apply. So, instead of searching the
0:41internet, trying to figure out how to
0:43get the support you need, what's
0:45working, what's legitimate, and what
0:47isn't, I'm going to show you the places
0:49that are actually worth you paying
0:51attention to. And as we go through them,
0:53I'll tell you exactly what it's for, how
0:55the funding works, and what you need to
0:57know before you apply. So, let's get
1:00started. GoFundMe. Now, before you skip
GoFundMe — Raise Money for Personal Needs
1:03away, wait a minute because you're
1:05probably thinking, "Pam, I already heard
1:07of GoFundMe." Don't skip this one
1:09because most people who have heard of
1:10this platform have never even considered
1:13whether it could help them. Now, how
1:14does it work? GoFundMe allows you to
1:16create a fundraiser either for yourself,
1:19another person, a personal cause, or a
1:21charity. And you can use it for all
1:23sorts of things from unexpected medical
1:25emergencies, funeral costs, family
1:28circumstances, community causes,
1:30creative projects, and situations where
1:33somebody simply needs help. And the
1:35scale of this platform is enormous. In
1:37fact, at the time of this recording,
1:39GoFundMe says that over 35 million
1:42pounds is being raised every single week
1:44through this platform. And last but not
1:46least, it is free to use the platform,
1:48so let me show you around. When you head
1:50over to the GoFundMe website, you have
1:51two buttons I want you to look at. The
1:53first is start a GoFundMe, and then you
1:56have it over here as well. So, I'm going
1:57to click here, start GoFundMe.
2:00Over here. And the first thing you want
2:01to do is to choose your country. So, you
2:04can see that you can do this in many
2:06countries from Australia to many parts
2:09of of Europe. I'm looking for some
2:10African countries. I haven't seen any
2:12African countries here, but there's a
2:13lot of Europe. There's Australia. There
2:16is
2:18United Kingdom, United States, and the
2:20rest in between, I believe, are all
2:22Europe from what I can see on this
2:23Canada um as well. So, I haven't seen
2:25any Africa, so I'm not going to say they
2:27fund in Africa because it hasn't said so
2:30over here. So, you select your country.
2:31So, let me go ahead and select United
2:33Kingdom. You pop in your post code,
2:35whatever your post code is, or your zip
2:37code, wherever you're based. And then
2:39you put in which best describes why you
2:40are raising funds. So, I'm going to just
2:42click on community over here. So, I've
2:44put in a fake post code in there just to
2:45move forward, and I'm going to click on
2:47continue over here, and it's going to
2:49ask me the next set of questions. Easy.
2:51Is it for yourself? Is it for someone
2:53else? Is it for a charity? I'm going to
2:54click it says for myself, and I'm going
2:57to click on continue. And it's now
2:59asking me, "What is the amount?" So,
3:00fundraisers like your typical aim
3:03fundraisers like yours. Ah, so it's
3:05giving me some advice. It's saying that
3:07fundraisers like me typically aim to
3:09raise £2,800 or more. So, let me put in
3:13an amount. I'm going to put in five
3:15five thousand pounds. That's what I want
3:18to raise.
3:19Okay. Now, this part is really, really
3:21interesting because, and this is new.
3:24Well, it wasn't here the last time I
3:25checked, anyway. So, this part, what it
3:27does is it's going to gradually increase
3:29my goal. So, for example, it says here
3:31they're going to start my goal at
3:33£1,800.
3:34So, my goal is £5,000, right? Are they
3:36going to start at £1,800 because it's
3:38just easier for people to see a smaller
3:40goal because they'll give more towards
3:42that goal, but if they see a really big
3:43goal, they might be put off. So, the
3:45moment it hits my threshold of £1,800,
3:48what the platform's going to do is it's
3:49going to to my goal gradually. So,
3:51that's what this is. So, I'm going to
3:52leave that checked and I'm going to go
3:54ahead and continue clicking through to
3:57continue. And then, it's going to need
3:59me to sign in. You're going to need to
4:01sign in because they need to contact you
4:03and then you set up your account. So, I
4:05want to clarify a couple of things if
4:06you are going to use GoFundMe. There are
4:08four things I want you to have in mind
4:10before you even start. I want you to be
4:11really clear about what happened, what
4:13do you need, how much do you need, and
4:15what exactly will the money be used for.
4:17These are the four key things that
4:19you're going to need to let them know on
4:21the platform. So, as long as you have
4:22this, you can just sail through as
4:24quickly as I just did in my demo. This
4:27next website allows people to raise
4:29money for things such as medical
GoGetFunding — Worldwide Crowdfunding
4:30expenses and emergencies and even
4:33weddings. It will help you raise money
4:35for as well as community causes and
4:37projects. Now, this one is called Go Get
4:40Funding and it's much broader than a lot
4:42of the platforms that I'm sharing
4:43because it allows you to raise money for
4:45a wide variety of causes. So, if you're
4:47thinking none of these platforms
4:49actually fit my situation,
4:50this one might be it. Let's head over to
4:52my laptop. Let me show you. I'm on the
4:54website right now and it's very easy to
4:57get started.
4:59You can click over here to how it works
5:02so you can read a little bit. It's
5:03always good to arm yourself with exactly
5:06what they are looking for in terms of
5:08for those of you who want to apply
5:10through this specific website up through
5:12this specific platform. However, to get
5:14started straight away, you click over on
5:16that start a fundraising and then you
5:18start to complete your information over
5:21here.
5:22There is one thing I want to show you
5:23though. Take a look at this with me. So,
5:25I'm going to scroll all the way to the
5:26bottom and I'm going to click on
5:28countries over here. Now, on face value,
5:32it shows these are the countries, but I
5:34was thinking, what about some African
5:36countries that I can't see here? I mean,
5:37I see South Africa somewhere, but what
5:40about other African countries? So, if I
5:41scroll through here, I'm not seeing very
5:44many. So, whatever country you want to
5:46look at, I want you to type it in. So,
5:48for this, I'm literally going to type in
5:49Nigeria just cuz I want to see. So, I've
5:51clicked on Nigeria and I can see that
5:54there are causes in Nigeria that have
5:56been applied for. So, I can see zero
5:59raised, zero raised, zero raised, zero
6:00raised. But, if I click through and I
6:02click on the see all campaigns, I can
6:05see that here over $5,000 raised, over
6:08$1,000 raised, over 140 pounds raised.
6:11So, this is
6:13from Nigeria, but in pounds. That's very
6:15interesting. So, that means somebody in
6:16the UK probably made this specific
6:19application over here. I'm not sure. I'm
6:21just speculating. But, you can see that
6:23there is money being raised from all
6:25different parts of the world. So, that
6:28is just a really good exercise to do.
6:29So, again, on the website, go to
6:31countries,
6:33type in your country over here. So, let
6:36me
6:37type in Singapore, for example.
6:43Click on that and I can see all the
6:45money that was raised in Singapore, for
6:48example. So, that's a good exercise to
6:50do and it just tells you exactly, you
6:52know, some of the campaigns that have
6:53come out from your own country that's
6:56already being funded. In fact, just for
6:58fun, I'm just going to type in Ghana.
7:00Just cuz I want to see.
7:01>> [laughter and gasps]
7:02>> Okay, brilliant. Yeah, I can see some
7:03applications from Ghana has gone
7:05through.
7:06Let's see if there's some money being
7:07raised. Yeah, I can see some money being
7:09raised, $800,
7:111,700, 250,
7:13168, 450 for various causes. This is
7:18actually brilliant.
7:20I like this.
Turn2us — Search 1,400+ UK Grants
7:21I really do. Okay, for those of us in
7:23the UK, this one is for you. It is
7:27called Turn2Us. Again, this is new on my
7:30list. I've never covered this specific
7:32platform, so it's really good to see
7:34some new platforms coming up and it has
7:36been verified. We have checked this out.
7:38Now, let me tell you a little bit more
7:40about it. Now, Turn2Us is a UK charity
7:43that grants money that helps people
7:45access benefits and charitable grants.
7:47It's current grant search says that they
7:49have granted over 1,400 grants. So,
7:52they've helped over 1,400 individuals
7:54looking for financial help. If you're in
7:56the UK, I do want you to pay close
7:57attention to this one because it is not
8:00a crowdfunding website. So, it's not
8:02going to ask you to create a page and
8:03ask people to donate to you. It's not
8:05doing any of that. What it does is that
8:07it helps you to search for grants that
8:09already exist
8:11for people in your situation. And guess
8:13what? You do not have to pay it back.
8:16So, how do you search for grants? Well,
8:17some of these grants are linked to
8:18things such as your occupation, your
8:20age, health circumstances, family
8:23situations, your education even, or
8:25perhaps even hundreds of industries that
8:27you or members of your family have
8:29worked in. So, that means that you have
8:31various ways that you could possibly
8:33qualify for a grant. Now, enough
8:35talking. I want to walk you through.
8:37Let's go.
8:38Okay, so now on their website, you can
8:39see there are various options and get
8:41support is what we need to look at. So,
8:43I'm going to let you search through
8:45everything else by yourself and I'm
8:46going to go through get support.
8:48Actually, I've decided I'm going to go
8:50to this one because I want to look at
8:51this. It says, "Take 10 minutes to find
8:53out if you could get help from
8:55charitable grants." So, I'm going to
8:56click on this. This is where I recommend
8:58that you start because I think that it's
9:00really, really interesting for you to be
9:02able to see whether you, you know, some
9:04of the causes or the things that you
9:06want grants for, they're actually
9:07granting. So, this is where I would
9:08start. go there and then I would head
9:10over to get started.
9:13Now, this takes roughly 10 minutes to do
9:15and I don't have the time for that on
9:17this video. But like I said earlier, if
9:19this is one of those ones that you're
9:20thinking, "Pam, can you walk me through
9:22this and show me how you would use this
9:24platform?" then I can, if enough people
9:26are asking for it, create a dedicated
9:28video for this specific platform of me
9:30walking through it. So, let me know if
9:32that's something that you are interested
9:34in. For now, I'm going to move on to the
9:36next platform. Okay, so the next one is
Lightning Reach — Find Financial Support
9:38called Lightning Reach. And again, this
9:41one is new to me, too. Now, for those of
9:44you in the UK, you're going to love this
9:46because instead of you trying to find
9:49help through the internet, Lightning
9:51Reach exists so that it can do a lot of
9:53that matching for you. How does it work?
9:55Well, you create a free account,
9:57complete a short profile, and in that
9:59profile, you talk about your
10:00circumstances, and guess what? The
10:02platform automatically matches you
10:05against financial supports that may be
10:07relevant to you. And then what happens
10:09is you can either apply directly via
10:11Lightning Reach, or you can use the
10:13third-party links on their
10:14recommendation. Let me show you. And at
10:17the time of this recording, Lightning
10:19Reach says that you can access over
10:202,500
10:22support schemes. That's a lot. Let's
10:24have a look together. Okay, so I'm on
10:26their website.
10:28You can go through any of these links to
10:30learn more about Lightning Reach, but
10:31where I really want to take you to is
10:33here where it says find
10:35support. So, the first thing you want to
10:37do is you definitely want to sign up.
10:39And then when you click on sign up,
10:42you're going to be asked to sign in,
10:45complete the profile, and then the
10:47matching begins in a matter of minutes.
10:51Again, if this is something you want to
10:52see me actually walk you through, let me
10:54know in the chat.
10:56Let me move on to the next one. Okay,
10:58the next platform I want to walk you
Family Fund — Grants for Families
11:00through is a platform that's I
11:02absolutely admire. Why? Because they are
11:04giving financial assistance to families
11:07who are raising either disabled or
11:09seriously ill children or young people.
11:12And in fact, at the time of this
11:13recording, they say that they have given
11:16around 114,000
11:18grants totaling a whopping 38.8 million
11:22pounds all between 2025 and 2026 to
11:26families. I mean, what's not to love?
11:28So, like I mentioned, this is
11:29specifically for families who have
11:31either disabled children or seriously
11:33ill children or young people. So, you
11:35can get help for things such as medical
11:37equipment, essential household items,
11:39specialist equipment, technology, even
11:42family breaks, play and sensory
11:45equipment, and other practical supports
11:47that can make day-to-day living easier.
11:50Now, I want to talk through the criteria
11:51before I go on to their website. Now, to
11:53apply, you do need to be a parent or
11:56carer of a disabled or seriously ill
11:58child or young person. Also, your
12:00household needs to be on low income, and
12:02your child does need to meet some
12:04eligibility criteria, which makes a lot
12:06of sense. Here is a quick tip. Don't
12:09rule yourself out before checking.
12:11Sometimes we hear the word grant and
12:12probably think, "Oh,
12:15I probably won't qualify." Don't rule
12:17yourself out. You have nothing to lose.
12:19Just check. All right, let me go to
12:21their website. So, on their website,
12:23there's a lot to see and a lot to read,
12:26but I'm interested in one button only
12:28for now, and that is
12:29can I apply? So, you click on can I
12:32apply, and it tells you your eligibility
12:34criteria, and then you can view their
12:36full eligibility criteria over here.
12:41And if you feel like you qualify, you
12:43simply click on get started, start a new
12:46application,
12:48and the application begins. So, you can
12:49apply either from England, Northern
12:51Ireland, Scotland, or Wales. I'm going
12:53to click on England, and I'm going to
12:54click on next.
12:55And I'm going to select the age group of
12:56the disabled child. Now, I don't have a
12:58disabled child in the house.
13:00So, I'm just going to click on an age.
13:02I'm going to click on under 18 for now,
13:03and I'm going to click on next.
13:06And you're going to have to give
13:07consent, etc., and you keep going
13:09through. Again, this is one of those
13:11ones that if you qualify for this, you
13:13have nothing to lose. Let's move into
13:16the next one. Okay, the next one on my
Kickstarter — Money for Creative Projects
13:18list is one of the most famous
13:20crowdfunding platforms in the world, but
13:22it absolutely deserves to be on this
13:24list because people are still raising
13:27some serious money on this platform and
13:30it is of course called Kickstarter. And
13:32this platform is very good for creative
13:35projects. We're talking things like
13:37books, films, games, music, art, design,
13:41technology. If you have ideas in any of
13:43those industries, this one is for you.
13:46Now, there is one caveat before I go
13:48over to their website. With this
13:50specific platform, you have to whatever
13:52you say you want to raise, you have to
13:53gain you have to get all of it or you
13:55can't take the money. So, let me give
13:57you an example. Let's say you want to
13:58raise 20K and let's say people donate
14:01but you only donate or rather they only
14:04donate up to 15K. You can't just take
14:06the 15K and forget the five. No. You
14:09it's an all or nothing platform so you
14:11either get all of the 20 and take all of
14:13the 20 or you get nothing. But there is
14:15a caveat to that. Those who donated if
14:18you don't get to get all of your money
14:20and you don't take the money, they don't
14:22get charged either which I think is
14:23quite a fair system. So, let me go over
14:26and walk you through the platform. So,
14:28I'm on the Kickstarter platform and you
14:30can see various projects which they have
14:32funded. I don't want to take too much
14:34time showing you through those so you
14:35can do that in your own time. However,
14:38where I want to take you to is here
14:40where it says for creators.
14:44Unlock your funding potential. You go
14:46over here and you click on start a
14:48project.
14:49And then you select what type of
14:51project. So, let's say mine is dance.
14:53Select subcategory. I'm going to click
14:55on workshops over here. Click on next.
14:58Again, I'm going to select something
15:00else over here. Click on that location.
15:03Select my country. So, you can do this
15:05from many various many different
15:08countries on the list. Let me click on
15:09Australia. Click on continue and then
15:12this is where you sign up and then of
15:14course start to talk about the project
15:16at hand. One thing I will say with
15:18Kickstarter is this. While there is no
15:20repayment of money, you still are
15:23responsible for delivering whatever you
15:25whatever project you promised your
15:26backers. So, make sure that this is
15:28something that you are serious about
15:30because people will back you and you
15:31will definitely have to deliver on your
15:33promise. So, the next one I want to talk
15:35about is one that's absolutely brand new
Ulule — Fund Your Idea or Product
15:37to me and in fact so brand new I'm not
15:39even sure how to pronounce it, but it is
15:42spelled U L U L E. Ulule? Ulule? Ulal?
15:47Ulul?
15:48I have no idea. But any who, I want to
15:51walk you through exactly how this
15:53platform works. At the time of this
15:54recording it currently shows that they
15:56have backed 43,000 plus funded projects
16:00and says that around 79%
16:03of projects meet or exceed their goals.
16:07That's why it's on this list. Those are
16:09some very impressive numbers. So, who is
16:11this platform for? Well, if your idea is
16:14either creative, cultural, sustainable,
16:16or just a little bit different, this
16:18platform is one of Europe's major
16:20crowdfunding platform and they currently
16:22fund projects such as books, food
16:24brands, fashion, art, community
16:27projects, sustainable products, creative
16:30businesses, and all sorts of innovative
16:33ideas. So, if you're creating a project
16:35you can use this platform more like a
16:36pre-sale where people order the thing
16:39before you've even produced it at scale.
16:40So, therefore you're bringing in the
16:42income before you've made any expenses.
16:44So, imagine you've created a new product
16:46or a a book or a clothing brand or
16:49something handmade. Instead of spending
16:51thousands producing it and hoping people
16:53buy, you can potentially use this
16:55platform to test whether it's a viable
16:57product and that's why I like it. Let's
17:00head over to their platform. Okay, so
17:02I'm on their platform and the first
17:03thing I will say is that it isn't very
17:05easy to see where to get started and
17:07that's why I like to do the screen share
17:09so that you can so that I can walk you
17:11through everything. So, the first thing
17:13it wants us to see
17:14or rather the The thing they want us to
17:15see are the projects in progress. So,
17:17you can see here, you can click on all
17:18projects and see them, but that's not
17:20what I'm interested in, Ulule.
17:22I want to show people exactly how to
17:24apply. Now, where is the apply button?
17:31Here we go, you have to scroll down.
17:33And it says start on Ulule, but there is
17:36something else that's interesting that I
17:37have seen, it says coaching. Our team
17:39advises you throughout your fundraising
17:42projects. That's not too shabby, is it?
17:45That's pretty good. And again, it says
17:4779% success rate, eight out of 10
17:49projects meet and often exceed their
17:52goal. That is very impressive. So, I'm
17:55going to click on start on Ulule.
17:59And then
18:01the first thing it wants to know is what
18:02would you like to fund? So again,
18:06for those of you, if this is the right
18:07platform that you want to try and you're
18:08thinking, Pam, can you show us a little
18:10bit how you would apply for this? Let me
18:12know in the chat. Share your story and
18:14let me know what platform or what your
18:15need is. And even if, you know, you have
18:18something that you want money for, but I
18:20haven't covered it, let me know in the
18:22chat because I have a great big black
18:24book of all of these uh platforms. And
18:28of course, to keep the video short, I
18:29can only share so much in one video. So,
18:31you let me know in the comments and I'll
18:33come back and share some more. So, the
Chuffed — Funding for Social & Community Causes
18:35next one on my list is called Chuffed.
18:37Now, this is for people who are trying
18:39to make a difference. So, if you're
18:41raising money for a community project,
18:43social cause, charity, non-profit,
18:46environmental campaign, animal welfare
18:48project, human rights project, or
18:51something that is genuinely designed to
18:53help people or improve the world around
18:55you, then Chuffed is absolutely what I
18:58would look into. At the time of this
18:59recording, Chuffed says that the
19:01communities and charities and
19:03non-profits have raised roughly $70
19:06million
19:07across 12,000 projects through the
19:09platform. And one thing that I really
19:11like is that with Chuffed, you don't
19:12have to hit your full goal in order to
19:14withdraw the money. So, you set a goal
19:16and no matter what it raises, you can
19:18still get that money and that I like.
19:20So, let's head over to their website and
19:21check them out. So, I'm on Chuffed
19:23website
19:25and you can see all of the movements
19:27that they are working on. So, from
19:29Palestine, the climate, animals, First
19:31Nations, trans rights, abolish ICE,
19:34workers rights, Sudan, Lebanon, and so
19:37much more that you can have a look at.
19:39It's very, very mixed, very diverse. You
19:41can see money raised for various causes,
19:43which I like. And I also like that it's
19:45very simple to start your campaign. You
19:48click over here on this pink button,
19:50start campaign, you sign up. So, I'm
19:53going to click on get Actually, I'm
19:54going to choose myself.
19:56Click on get started. Select a category.
19:59I'm going to choose disability for now.
20:01Click on continue.
20:03Select a country. So, this tells you the
20:05many countries that it works in, which
20:07is brilliant to see. So, I'm actually
20:10going to select Sweden this time. I'm
20:12going to click on continue. Then you set
20:14a target, so how much I want to raise.
20:17I'm going to put 20,000 pounds or rather
20:1920,000. And uh this is the name of the
20:22campaign. I'm going to choose test to
20:25name it. Click save and continue. Then
20:28you choose a banner or image for your
20:30campaign. So, you can see in a matter of
20:3130 seconds or roughly that,
20:34I am on step six of nine. Look at that.
20:37So easy. And that's one of the reasons
20:39why it's on my list. So, definitely
20:41check it out. The next on my list is
JustGiving — Personal & Charity Fundraising
20:43called JustGiving. If you're in the UK,
20:46there's a very good chance that you've
20:47already come across this website. Or you
20:49might have come across it because you've
20:51sponsored somebody running a marathon,
20:52doing a charity walk maybe, taking on a
20:55challenge maybe, or raising money in
20:57memory of somebody they love. But
20:59JustGiving isn't only for sponsored runs
21:01and marathons. You can also use it to
21:04raise money for personal causes. There
21:06are two things to think about with
21:07JustGiving. You can raise money for
21:09charity, for example, or you can create
21:11a crowdfunding page around a personal
21:14cause. Now, let's have a look at how to
21:16get started. So, to get started on their
21:18website, I love when things are easy.
21:21Click over here at start fundraising.
21:24And of course, you're going to need to
21:25sign up, but before you do that, you
21:27select whether you are fundraising for a
21:29charity or raising money for your own
21:31cause. I'm going to choose my own cause
21:33in this instance, and of course, I have
21:35to log in to continue. You can see that
21:37button at the bottom here. But, again,
21:40like I said, if you want me to go
21:41through the JustGiving page or any
21:43platform that I have mentioned, go
21:45through to the end of this uh process of
21:48actually raising or asking for money,
21:51let me know in the chats. Tell me your
21:53story. Let me know what platform you
21:55want me to debunk, and of course, if
21:57enough people are asking for that same
21:59platform, then that's something I'll be
22:00putting on our list of things to bring
22:02out for you. That's how much I love you
22:03guys. And don't forget, if you haven't
22:05shared this video, I cannot stress it
22:08enough. Go ahead and just hit that share
22:10button. Hit like. Hit share. You never
22:12know which one life, one person you
22:14might just impact because you gave them
22:16information. Information is power.
22:20One of the biggest acts of love we can
22:21show is just to share information. The
22:23next platform I want to talk about is
22:25specifically for people who want to
StartSomeGood — Funding for Positive-Impact Projects
22:27create some sort of positive impact. So,
22:30if you have an idea that could improve
22:32your community, help people, create
22:35jobs, support education, protect the
22:37environment, solve a social platform,
22:40then Start Some Good is a platform you
22:43definitely want to start looking at.
22:45Now, let me give you a tip about this
22:47platform before I go to their website.
22:49Number one, make it about the project or
22:52the people you are going to help and not
22:54about yourself when you're making your
22:56application. So, talk about things such
22:58as what is happening now, why does it
23:00need to change, and who benefits if your
23:02project succeeds? These are the things
23:04that they are looking for. Now, let's
23:06head over to their website. Okay, so on
23:08their website, I like that you don't
23:10have to go too far
23:13to see exactly how to get started. So,
23:15you click over on this orange button
23:18and you get started with your
23:19application. So, here we are. So, start
23:22Good Hustle Foundry now. Okay, so Start
23:25Some Good is new to us. And so, I had to
23:28do a little bit of digging to see if
23:29this is really free because
23:3299% of everything that I'm talking about
23:34here is free to get started. However,
23:36there is one caveat. Start Some Good
23:38isn't free to get started. So, head over
23:41here to crowdfunding, click on
23:42fundraising, and you'll see, when you
23:45scroll down, that there are various
23:48prices for launching a campaign. Now,
23:52there is some good to this. The good is
23:55that a lot of the platforms will charge
23:56you a percentage of how much you make,
23:59right? This is charging you a fee before
24:01you even get started. So, it depends on
24:03how you look at it. At 50 bucks, it's a
24:05small fee. If you're going to be making
24:08a good, I don't know, 5,000, 10,000
24:10pounds from or dollars from a campaign,
24:12then it's a small amount to pay. But,
24:15however, if all you're looking for is a
24:16thousand bucks, you might not want to
24:17pay that money. So, it's something to
24:19weigh. And that is why this video is a
Funding for Founders & Entrepreneurs
24:21long list so that you can choose which
24:23one works for you. I'm on their website.
24:25To get started, you click on get
24:27started, start a raise. However, before
24:30we go there, there's a couple of things
24:31I want to show you. The platform already
24:34comes with AI agents and a community of
24:36a million plus investors included. And
24:39they have done over 2.3 billion
24:41transactions, 1.5 15 million investments
24:45with 4,409
24:47founders, uh pardon me, founders funded,
24:51and over 3,000 SPVs and funds. So, So
24:55means that there is cash constantly
24:56moving through this platform, like I
24:58said. It's not necessarily free money,
25:00but it's a brilliant way to get your
25:01business or ideas off the ground faster.
Crowdcube — Raise Investment for Your Business
25:05So the next one on my list is also for
25:07founders, business owners, and
25:09entrepreneurs. And this works worldwide,
25:11but particularly best for those of you
25:12who live in the UK or Europe. This
25:15platform is called Crowdcube. So
25:16Crowdcube allows private companies to
25:19raise funds from a large community of
25:21investors rather than relying on banks,
25:25venture capital firms, or a handful of
25:27angel investors. So again, let me make
25:29this distinctively clear, this is not a
25:32donation per se. This is an investment.
25:35So Crowdcube currently says that it has
25:36invested over 1.8 million registered
25:40investors. So imagine you have a
25:42business with real customers, some
25:44traction, a strong product, and a
25:46community that already believes in what
25:48you are doing. So instead of just asking
25:50people to buy from you, Crowdcube can
25:53potentially allow eligible investors to
25:56become part of the company financially.
25:58Let's have a look at their website
26:00together. So the first thing they ask
26:01you on their website is where you are
26:02from. So the the suggested are United
26:05Kingdom, United States, Spain, France,
26:07and Germany. However, if you come down
26:09here, you have other regions right here.
26:12So I'm going to click on something that
26:14is not obvious. Let me go to Venezuela,
26:16for example. And boom, it already tells
26:20me exactly what to do here on their
26:23website. Now, I want to go back a step.
26:26Well, actually, I don't need to. It
26:27says, "We empower over 2 million
26:28investors to participate in European
26:30private company transactions. Why not
26:33join them?" So then here we are. If you
26:35click on get started, you can
26:37essentially become an investor, and of
26:39course, you can also get investments
Arts Council England — Grants Up to £100,000
26:41from Crowdcube. So the next one is for
26:44those of us in the UK. And that is
26:47called Arts Council England National
26:49Lottery Projects Grant. So if you're a
26:51creative person in England, this is one
26:53that you definitely need to know. Now, I
26:55have actually used this platform
26:56personally when I was a little bit
26:57younger several times for various arts
27:00projects that I was working on, and I am
27:02so pleased to see that it is still
27:03running. Now, this platform isn't about
27:05crowdfunding, this is a grant, i.e.
27:08money that you receive that you don't
27:10have to pay back. So, Arts Council
27:12England currently has a program called
27:15National Lottery Project, and this is a
27:16grant that you can apply for that gives
27:18you anything from a thousand bucks all
27:20the way to a hundred thousand pounds for
27:23eligible arts, culture, libraries, and
27:25museums projects. Let's check out their
27:28website. Guys, I am honestly melting. It
27:30is so hot in the UK as I'm recording
27:32this. Oh my goodness.
27:35Let's have a look together. So, I'm on
27:37their website right now, and the first
27:39thing you want to do is over here where
27:40it says never applied to us before.
27:42Let's click on that, and then you can
27:44read through about how to apply. So, I'm
27:49going to click on here to get funding
27:50over here,
27:52and here are all the various funding
27:54projects that they have open. Our open
27:57funds, I'm going to click over there.
27:59So, on our open funds, you can see all
28:02the various things that they fund from
28:04music projects, museums, creative
28:06foundations, and on and on. Okay, so the
28:09next one on my list is especially
28:11interesting if you're trying to raise
28:12money for a business or a community
28:14project or a charity, social enterprise,
Crowdfunder UK — Raise Money in the UK
28:17or local cause. This one is called
28:19crowdfunder.uk.
28:20So, yes, if you're in the UK, this is
28:23for you. So, how does crowdfunder.uk
28:25work? Well, it works in the way you'd
28:27expect it to work. You head on to the
28:29page, you create a profile, you explain
28:31what you're trying to raise money for,
28:32you set your target, and then your
28:34supporters pledge to support you. So,
28:37let's head over to the website, let's
28:38see what it looks like. Okay, I'm on the
28:40page and it's so simple. This big
28:42massive red button, get started, is
28:44exactly what you need. So, you then
28:46select what it is Well, you start by
28:49putting in a target. So, I'm going to
28:50put 20,000 pounds, for example. Click on
28:52continue. You select what best describes
28:55you. I'm going to select individual, and
28:56I'm going to put my name in here, and
28:59click continue. Then, you put in what do
29:02you need funds for? So, I'm going to
29:04stop there, because like I said, if this
29:06is one platform you want me to go in
29:08depth and show you the walk-through, let
29:10me know in the comments, and I'll create
29:12another video if enough people are
29:14asking for this specific platform. But,
29:16I really like this one, because well,
29:18I'm in the UK, and so not only is it
29:20UK-based, but it's actually very, very
29:23straightforward to get things moving.
29:25Now, let's get to the next one. If you
Crisis & Resilience Fund — Help With Essential Costs
29:27live in England, and you are struggling
29:29with essential household costs, this is
29:32one I want you to really know about,
29:33because it is newish, but it is also
29:36backed by the government, and it is
29:38called the Crisis and Resilience Fund.
29:41This government-backed program is
29:42distributed through councils to help
29:45people who are facing financial hardship
29:47or some kind of financial shock. So,
29:49this could potentially include help with
29:50things such as food, water bills,
29:52essential household items,
29:54housing-related costs, or other urgent
29:56expenses. And guess what? For once, you
29:59do not actually have to be receiving
30:01benefits to qualify. The fund is
30:03designed to help people who are
30:05vulnerable or who cannot afford their
30:07living costs. Now, the local council
30:09decides exactly how the scheme works,
30:11and the way you get started is by typing
30:13in Crisis Resilience Fund and your
30:16council. Let's head over to the main
30:18website that I found. Let's see how it
30:20works. When will support be available?
30:23They plan to launch an interim crisis
30:25support scheme at midday on the 18th of
30:27August. At the time of recording this
30:29video, that's in a couple of days, so
30:30that's not too bad. And then, you can um
30:33get support to pay for heating oil,
30:35crisis payment, financial resilience,
30:37housing payment, community coordination,
30:40holiday activities and food program,
30:42District Council crisis and resilience
30:44fund support all sorts of things. It's
30:46definitely worth checking this out if
30:48you need this sort of assistance and if
30:50you're in the UK. The next strategy I
30:52want to give you is for those of you in
30:53the UK and I think this works for many
Find a Grant — Official UK Government Grant Search
30:55countries. In most countries, there is
30:58an official find a grant scheme and the
31:01UK, we have a very, very good one here.
31:04This is a UK government service that I
31:06think far more people need to know
31:08exists. How does it work? Well, instead
31:10of talking about it, let me show you.
31:12So, this is the official website for it.
31:13It's called
31:14find-government-grants.service.gov.uk.
31:18So, here it is. This helps you to find
31:20grants in the UK and like I said, in
31:23whatever country you're in,
31:24try to find an official government
31:27service that offers grants in that
31:30specific country. So, here it says, find
31:32government grants quick that if you are
31:34eligible, enter a keyword. So, let's say
31:36I'm going to type in the word bills, for
31:39example. Let me see what comes up for
31:41bills. Here we go. Something comes up
31:43for bills and it says how much you can
31:45get from 300 to 350. Total size of grant
31:48scheme, 5 million. Opening date, closing
31:51date. So, this is viable or rather
31:53available until the 31st of March, 2027.
31:56There are plenty of grants available.
31:58And next on my list is the King's Trust,
The King’s Trust — Up to £5,000 Business Funding
32:02formerly known as the Prince's Trust. If
32:04you're aged 18 to 30, have the right to
32:06work in the UK, and want to start your
32:08own business, this is an enterprise
32:10program specifically designed for you.
32:13Now, this isn't simply here's a website,
32:14get on with it yourself. Nope, they
32:16provide training. They provide
32:18mentoring. They provide support. They
32:20can help you work on your business idea
32:22and your business plan. And at the time
32:24of this recording, their business
32:25finance grant is up to 5,000 pounds. And
32:29this is a grant, meaning you don't have
32:31to pay back. So, here is my biggest tip.
32:33If you're really wanting to start a
32:34business and you want to use this
32:36platform, don't wait for it to be
32:37perfect. Go ahead and apply for these
32:41grants. This specific grant or any of
32:43the grants that I have talked about in
Final Tips Before You Apply
32:45this video. Before you leave this video,
32:47there is one final thing I want to ask
32:48of you. If you enjoyed this even for a
32:50second, please give this video a thumbs
32:53up, leave a comment especially if
32:55there's a specific platform you want me
32:56to go through or let me know what
32:58country you're from if you haven't found
33:00anything on this list that works for
33:02you. And last but not least, go ahead
33:04and share this video. You never know
33:06which one person's life you might be
33:08changing because you shared this video
33:10with them. Thank you guys so much.
33:11Before you jump off, make sure you check
33:13out this video.
