0:00In 2026, there is a sin that has become
0:04so common it no longer seems like a sin.
0:08We put it on in the morning without
0:09thinking.
0:10We show it on social media without
0:12shame.
0:13We call it freedom.
0:16But a woman was shown exactly what God
0:19sees when he looks at our closet.
0:22And what she saw were not clothes.
0:25They were choices.
0:29This experience reached me 2 weeks ago
0:31in a 12-minute audio recording sent by a
0:34woman who has recently been part of our
0:36prayer group.
0:38She wrote to me only, "I can't sleep
0:41until someone listens to it."
0:44I listened to it three times before
0:47transcribing it.
0:48So, I'll tell it to you as she told me
0:51in the first person.
0:54My name is Loredana. I'm 51 years old,
0:58originally from Italy, living not far
1:00from the ocean.
1:02And on the morning everything changed,
1:04I was simply making the bed.
1:08I felt a strange weight at the center of
1:11my chest, like a hand pressing from
1:14within.
1:15I sat down on the edge of the bed.
1:18I thought, "It will pass.
1:20It's just tiredness."
1:23It did not pass.
1:25I managed to call my daughter. Then the
1:28floor rushed up to meet me.
1:31I don't remember the pain. I remember
1:33that at a certain point I was no longer
1:35lying down.
1:37I was suspended, and I saw my daughter
1:39kneeling beside my body screaming my
1:42name into the phone.
1:44Then all that noise moved away, like
1:48when you close a door on a room full of
1:50people.
1:53I found myself in a place I can only to
1:55a tall meadow.
1:57The grass reached my knees, even though
2:00I had no knees. I had no body, and yet I
2:04felt it.
2:05And it was a green that doesn't exist
2:09here. A green that vibrated, almost
2:12breathed.
2:14The sky had no precise color.
2:17It was pure light spread everywhere with
2:21no sun that it came from.
2:25There was no shadow anywhere.
2:27I thought,
2:28"Here, nothing hides."
2:31I smelled freshly baked bread mixed with
2:35something that resembled the smell of
2:37rain on dry earth.
2:40And then,
2:41I heard footsteps.
2:43Not the sound of feet on grass,
2:46a vibration that rose from the ground
2:48and went inside me like a heartbeat that
2:51wasn't mine.
2:54A man approached me. At first, I thought
2:56he was a farmer because of his hands.
2:59Large, marked, like someone who had
3:02worked the land his whole life.
3:04He wore a simple tunic, the color of old
3:07ivory,
3:09tied at the waist with a rough cord.
3:12Only when he raised his eyes did I
3:14understand that those eyes were not
3:16those of an ordinary man.
3:20They were dark, and yet full of light,
3:23as if inside the pupils there was a fire
3:26that did not burn, but warmed.
3:30I was not afraid.
3:32I felt only a question rise inside me
3:34without words.
3:36"Is it you?"
3:38And he smiled, and in that smile, the
3:41answer was already there.
3:45"Loredana," he said.
3:47And the way he pronounced my name was
3:48not like my mother pronounced it, or not
3:52like how my husband pronounced it.
3:54It was as if that name had been chosen
3:57by him long before I was born.
4:01And he was only giving it back.
4:03"Come." He told me.
4:05"I want to show you eight garments. Not
4:08to condemn you, but to free you."
4:12We walked, or rather we moved because I
4:16didn't feel my legs moving, along a path
4:18that opened by itself through the tall
4:21grass.
4:22And before us, suspended in the air like
4:25paintings without frames, I saw images.
4:28The first showed a young girl,
4:32perhaps 20 years old,
4:34in front of a mirror in a messy bedroom,
4:36with clothes scattered everywhere and a
4:39very tight top,
4:41cut to show her navel and much of her
4:43back.
4:45"This is the first garment." Jesus said.
4:48"The item that exposes the center of the
4:50body. The part that in scripture has
4:53always been a symbol of the inner being.
4:55The place where compassion is born."
4:58He looked at me.
5:00"When you expose what should remain
5:03guarded, you're not just showing skin.
5:06You're teaching yourself that your worth
5:08begins there,
5:10and not from the heart that beats higher
5:12up."
5:14I thought of Genesis, of the moment when
5:16Adam and Eve, after sinning, feel for
5:19the first time the need to cover
5:21themselves.
5:22Not out of shame for the body itself,
5:24but because they had lost the innocence
5:27of their gaze.
5:29"I'm not asking you to hide." He added
5:32quietly.
5:33"I'm asking you to choose what you want
5:36to speak for you."
5:38The image changed. I saw a man around
5:4130, with his shirt unbuttoned almost to
5:44his sternum. Gold chains around his
5:46neck, speaking to group of young men
5:49while showing more of his chest than his
5:51face.
5:53This is the second garment, Jesus said.
5:56And for the first time I heard something
5:57like sadness in his voice.
6:01The man who bares his chest to be looked
6:03at has forgotten that true strength is
6:06not displayed.
6:09It is proven.
6:12The chest is where the heart beats and
6:15it is the heart that should speak first,
6:17not the muscles beneath the skin.
6:20A verse my grandmother always repeated
6:22came back to me from Samuel.
6:25Man looks at appearance, but the Lord
6:27looks at the heart.
6:29When a man dresses to be admired rather
6:32than to be himself, Jesus said,
6:35he asks others to love an image, not a
6:38person.
6:39And an image, in the end,
6:41always leaves you feeling alone.
6:44Then I saw an elegant woman, perhaps 40
6:46years old with a skirt so tight it
6:49outlined every movement of her legs,
6:52sitting in a bright office.
6:54This is the third garment, Jesus said.
6:57The fabric is not the problem.
6:59It's the intention with which you choose
7:02in the morning.
7:04Have you ever asked yourself, as you
7:06looked in the mirror, whether you are
7:08dressing to please yourself and me or to
7:11be noticed by those who will never truly
7:14know you?
7:16That question went through me like a
7:18blade because I myself, in front of my
7:21closet on so many mornings, had chosen
7:24based on who would look at me,
7:26not based on who I was.
7:31The fourth image made my heart tighten.
7:35A teenage girl, no more than 16, wearing
7:38pants torn to leave almost her entire
7:40thigh exposed, sitting alone on a bench,
7:43her eyes down on her phone.
7:46"This is the fifth garment," Jesus said,
7:49"and it is the most painful to show,
7:51because that tear in the fabric is not
7:54fashion.
7:55It's a cry."
7:57He explained to me that so often what we
8:00wear does not just hide the body, but
8:02tells the world how broken we feel
8:05inside, and that wearing the tear,
8:07displaying it, does not heal it.
8:10It hands it over to those who would not
8:12know how to care for it.
8:16"I came to bind up broken hearts," he
8:19told me, recalling the words of Isaiah,
8:22not to let the world photograph them.
8:26At this point, the recording stops for a
8:28few seconds. This is where I, too, would
8:31like to pause for a moment.
8:33If listening to this testimony, you feel
8:35you need to talk about it with someone,
8:37to discuss questions of faith that
8:39perhaps you find no space to ask
8:41elsewhere,
8:42our private group was created exactly
8:44for this.
8:46It is not a perfect place. It is an
8:48honest place.
8:50The link is in the description and in
8:51the first comment.
8:53Now, let's return to the story.
8:56The fifth image showed a middle-aged man
8:58on a beach in very skimpy swimwear,
9:02posing in front of a group of strangers.
9:04"This is the fifth garment," Jesus said.
9:07"The pride of a body that is aging and
9:09does not accept aging.
9:12Seeking admiration by showing what was
9:14once shown naturally, today is shown
9:17with insistence.
9:19And insistence betrays the fear of no
9:21longer being enough."
9:24I thought about how deep down I, too,
9:27was afraid of no longer being enough,
9:30and how that fear could dress itself in
9:32so many different ways.
9:35Then I saw a bride on her day in a
9:38beautiful dress but cut so low that
9:41Jesus told me
9:42it turned the day of the covenant into a
9:45day of exposure.
9:47This is the sixth garment, he said.
9:51Not because beauty is a sin.
9:53I myself created beauty and I wanted it
9:57abundant.
9:58But because on the day you promised
10:01faithfulness to a single gaze
10:03you chose to open yourself to a thousand
10:05others.
10:07Marriage, like faith, is a covenant and
10:09covenants are guarded not thrown open.
10:13It made me think of Hosea
10:16of how much God speaks of the covenant
10:18with his people as a marriage and of how
10:21unfaithfulness often begins with small
10:23gestures, not great betrayals.
10:28The seventh image was a young man,
10:30barely an adult, wearing a t-shirt
10:32printed with a violent image and obscene
10:35words.
10:37This is the seventh garment, Jesus said.
10:40And perhaps it's the one we think of
10:41least.
10:43Not only what you uncover but what you
10:45write on the fabric.
10:47The words you wear enter the eyes of
10:49whoever meets you before you even open
10:53your mouth.
10:55What message are you carrying into the
10:56world if the first message you give is
10:59of violence or content?
11:03I remembered Philippians. Whatever is
11:06true, noble, pure
11:09think on these things.
11:11Even clothes, Jesus said
11:13can be a thought that we wear.
11:16The eighth image was the simplest and
11:19for that reason the strongest.
11:22An elderly woman, perhaps 80 years old,
11:25dressed in a worn cardigan and worn-out
11:27shoes, sitting alone on a plastic chair
11:31outside a modest house.
11:32Her eyes full of dignity despite
11:34everything.
11:36"This is the eighth garment," Jesus
11:38said, "and I am not showing it to you
11:40because it is wrong.
11:42I am showing it to you because it is the
11:44one the world judges most and loves
11:47least.
11:48The garment of poverty, of not having
11:51enough to appear.
11:53Yet, I tell you,
11:56"Consider the lilies of the field, how
11:58they grow. They neither labor nor spin.
12:01And yet, not even Solomon in all his
12:04glory was clothed like one of these."
12:08This woman has nothing to display.
12:10And for that very reason, she has
12:13nothing to hide.
12:15It is the garment closest to mine.
12:21I remained silent, if a soul can remain
12:24silent,
12:26and I understood that the first seven
12:27garments concerned what we choose to
12:30show in order to be looked at.
12:32And the eighth concerned what we are
12:35when no one is looking at us anymore.
12:38Jesus took me,
12:39not with hands, but with something
12:41deeper than hands, and told me,
12:44"I did not show you these eight garments
12:46to make you feel guilty about a closet.
12:49I showed them to you because every time
12:51you get dressed, you are writing a
12:53letter to the world about who you
12:56believe you are.
12:57I want that letter to tell the truth,
13:00that you are loved, that you are worthy,
13:02and that you do not need to sell any
13:04piece of yourself to be so."
13:07Then, for an instant, the meadow cracked
13:10like an image losing signal, and I saw
13:13not a precise place, no date, no city
13:15name.
13:16I saw only a dark wave of sadness pass
13:20over the whole world
13:22like fog over the field in the morning.
13:24And I felt that fog was born from
13:26millions of small choices,
13:28not from just one.
13:31Jesus said,
13:33"When the people stop guarding what is
13:35sacred, they begin to lose what matters,
13:37too.
13:39This is not a threat, Loredana.
13:41It is a law the world has set for
13:43itself.
13:45Watch, for you know neither the day nor
13:48the hour,
13:49but you can choose every day which side
13:53to stand on."
13:56He said nothing more about this.
13:59He only held, or what for me was
14:01holding, my hand.
14:03And I felt a peace I had never
14:05experienced in my life,
14:07not even the day my daughter was born.
14:11Then my daughter's voice, very distant,
14:14began to grow closer. "Mom, Mom, stay
14:17with me."
14:19I felt a tug,
14:21not violent, but firm, like a rope being
14:24pulled from the other side.
14:26I looked at Jesus one last time, and he
14:28only told me,
14:30"It is not yet your day.
14:32Go, and wear the truth."
14:36I woke up in an ambulance with my
14:38daughter's hand gripping mine, and a
14:40paramedic checking my pupils with a
14:42small light.
14:43I had a taste of metal in my mouth, and
14:46a cold that didn't leave me for hours.
14:49I said nothing for the rest of the trip.
14:51I only wanted to stay a little longer
14:53inside what I had seen.
14:56Since that day, I have emptied half my
14:59closet, not out of fear, not to punish
15:02myself.
15:03I did it because for the first time,
15:05looking at each piece of clothing,
15:08I truly asked myself,
15:10"What does this letter say about me?"
15:15If this experience has touched your
15:16heart,
15:18let me know by writing the word garment
15:20in the comments.
15:21I want to know how many of you listening
15:24thought about your own closet or about
15:26something deeper.
15:28Tell me where you are listening from.
15:30I like to imagine how many homes, how
15:32many different languages this testimony
15:35is reaching at this very moment.
15:38If this video has spoken to you,
15:40subscribe and turn on the bell.
15:42Unfortunately, the algorithm often hides
15:45this kind of content and I wouldn't want
15:47you to miss the next experience
15:50just because YouTube decided not to show
15:52them to you.
15:54And if you feel the need to talk about
15:56it with someone who understands, to
15:58share your faith, your doubts, your
16:00experiences,
16:01maybe something that happened to you and
16:03you've never told anyone,
16:05our private group is waiting for you.
16:08The link is below.
16:10You are not alone on this journey.
16:13See you in the next testimony.
