1:19:57of them to kill someone. So then, how

1:19:59does capturing one single arrow let you

1:20:01kill someone forever? Well, what if we

1:20:03didn't even need the arrow to hit

1:20:05someone wearing thorns to deal thorns

1:20:07damage? Wait, but how is that even

1:20:09possible?

1:20:58wearing thorns, you could kill someone

1:21:00forever from just one single arrow. But

1:21:03I wanted to see if this could work on an

1:21:05actual server on real people. And there

1:21:08was only one person that I could trust

1:21:10for a scheme like this, my brother. Now

1:21:12listen, me and my brother might have

1:21:14been somewhat of scammers back in the

1:21:16day. So together, we came up with one of

1:21:19the most elaborate schemes to not only

1:21:21capture everyone's arrows, but we would

1:21:23do it all without them realizing what

1:21:25we're up to. And then once all their

1:21:27arrows are captured, we would gather

1:21:28them all together and activate all their

1:21:30machines at once.

1:21:33Yo, what's their reactions going to be?

1:21:34Someone should do this on Donut SMP with

1:21:36like all a bunch of streamers at once

1:21:37and then just have them constantly die

1:21:38over and over and over. That'd be

1:21:40insane. That'd be an insane moment. But

1:21:42before we could pull this off, we

1:21:44actually had to build the machine. And

1:21:46well, it was definitely not made to be

1:21:48built in survival. I don't know if

1:21:50you've ever tried to capture breezes

1:21:51before, but it was actual torture.

1:25:35have figured out a way to triple

1:25:37Thorns's damage. Let me explain. When

1:25:39this Enderman dies to Thorn's damage, it

1:25:41should only drop one Ender Pearl, right?

1:25:44Except it dropped two. But how? If you

1:25:47know anything about Minecraft, you

1:25:48should know that this is only possible

1:25:50when you're using looting. But it just

1:25:52died to thorns. And obviously, you can't

1:25:54enchant thorns armor with looting. Or

1:25:56can you? Turns out, whatever you're

1:25:59holding in your main hand applies its

1:26:01enchantments to whatever damage source

1:26:03you deal. So, in this case, it applies

1:26:05the looting from my sword to Thorns's

1:26:07damage. But it had me thinking, what

1:26:09other enchantments could I use? And then

1:26:11I remembered that there was one

1:26:12enchantment that would make thorns go

1:26:14from one of the weakest damage sources

1:26:16in the game to becoming absolutely

1:26:18broken. The enchant I'm talking about,

1:26:20of course, is Breach. At max level,

1:26:23Breach ignores 60%.

1:28:19doing? First off, I would never give

1:28:22anybody my arrow. Never. Never. Never.

1:28:25I'm not that stupid. But people on other

1:28:29servers though, other than me, maybe

1:28:32they just don't even ever expect

1:28:33something like this. I don't think it's

1:28:34going to be hard to get someone to shoot

1:28:35an arrow where you want them to.

1:28:37>> Now, we came up with a couple of ideas.

1:28:39The first one was to run some sort of

1:28:41archery miniame and then on a certain

1:28:43target block, we steal their arrow.

1:28:45Another idea was to host a bow PvP

1:28:47tournament and catch the arrows that

1:28:49they leave on the ground. But the

1:28:50problem with both of these was that it

1:28:52was too hard to steal the arrows without

1:28:54anyone actually noticing what we're up

1:28:56to. But eventually we landed on one

1:28:58final idea, an escape room. Now listen,

1:29:01I know escape rooms have famously been

1:29:03used for traps before. So we had to make

1:29:05sure there was no way anyone could tell

1:29:07it was a trap. The best way to do that

1:29:10is to make it actually good. Think about

1:29:12it. When something is higher quality,

1:29:13people are more likely to trust that

1:29:15it's actually safe. So we designed this

1:29:17escape room to not only look good, but

1:29:19also have a good puzzle. Let me explain

1:29:21how it works, cuz I actually think it's

1:29:23pretty cool. Their goal is to light the

1:29:24three brazers to escape, which is

1:29:27basically these three pillars. They each

1:29:28have a campfire on top of them. So, grab

1:29:31an arrow and a bow. The first one's

1:29:32easy. Just shoot an arrow through lava

1:29:35and you light the first one. And what

1:29:36that does is opens up this target block.

1:29:39If you shoot both of these,

1:29:41it lights this one, which then opens

1:29:43this target block in the ceiling here.

1:29:46And when you shoot this, a wind charge

1:29:48will come out. A cool mechanic here is

1:29:51that whatever direction you're facing,

1:29:53wind charge will be sent. So you just

1:29:56look at this blinking light over here.

1:30:00Then bang,

1:30:02opens up this final one.

1:30:04>> This is so complicated. No way anyone's

1:30:05going to ever going to solve this.

1:30:06>> Shoot yourself with it. Get up here.

1:30:28switched it with an arrow shot out of a

1:30:29dispenser and covered the sound with a

1:30:32gate, making sure that they would see

1:30:34what they think is their arrow come out

1:30:36and finish the puzzle while their real

1:30:39arrow is on its way to the machine

1:30:40thousands of blocks away.

1:30:51flying machine and gets automatically

1:30:52sorted into these five machines.
