0:20stand for the national anthem.

0:26Today is 9/11 in case you guys aren't
0:29aware by now.
0:31A day that America was attacked.
0:35A day where nearly 3,000 people were
0:37killed, murdered
0:39after two planes crashed in
0:42to the Twin Towers in New York City.
0:45A day that I will never forget. Never
0:47forget how that day played out.
0:50Usually days like today
0:53you'll see
0:54the American sports leagues
0:57show their respect.
1:00The American sports leagues acknowledge
1:02what transpired on that day, the tragedy
1:05that happened on that day.
1:08However
1:10a few sports leagues refused to.
1:14One league whose players are now are
1:15getting paid transformational money.
1:19The WNBA.
1:22The WNBA wished somebody a happy
1:24birthday so they damn sure know what day
1:28it is.
1:29Yet they refused to acknowledge the
1:31tragedy that took place today.
1:34Refused to dedicate a remembrance post
1:37for the tragedy that took place 25 years
1:40from today.
1:4125 years
1:44ago today.

1:57honor the memory of those who lost their
1:59lives and we continue to give back in
2:03their honor.
2:05They put out a
2:07mini film from NFL Films, FDNY never
2:10forget our brothers 343 heroes.
2:17You got players holding American flags,
2:19Bill Cowher addressing his team, the
2:21Patriots
2:23and the Seahawks or the just Seahawks
2:25jerseys, excuse me, all the way in
2:26Seattle.
2:28You have the Packers running in with
2:30America holding an American flag.
2:33Patriotism 49ers United we stand.
2:37You have the NHL.
2:39We will always remember those who lost
2:40their lives on 9/11. Marking the 25th
2:42anniversary, the NHL has donated to four
2:44organizations.
2:45FDNY Foundation, New York Police
2:47Foundation, Tunnel to Towers Foundation,
2:49and 9/11 Day to honor those we lost and
2:52assist active and retired first
2:54responders and their families.
2:56FDNY Foundation donation to honor the
2:59343 FDNY members who made the ultimate
3:01sacrifice.
3:04New York Police Foundation honoring
3:05those who lost their lives and providing
3:07assistance to survivors and their
3:08families.
3:13Tunnel to Towers Foundation provides
3:14mortgage-free homes to Gold Star
3:16families, families of fallen first
3:18responders, and injured heroes.
3:209/11 Day, a day to unite for good
3:23packing meals for Americans
3:25in need.
3:27You have the MLB.
3:30We all remember this. This was This is
3:31legendary.

3:42holding up the American flag. 25 years
3:44ago today, baseball helped heal the
3:45nation in the aftermath of the 9/11

6:39then you have the opposing team
6:40nowhere to be found.
6:46You have another game, the Las Vegas
6:47Aces versus the Indiana Fever. The
6:48Indiana Fever are lined up. The opposing
6:50team
6:51nowhere to be found.
6:53You even have the New York Liberty.
6:56The Indiana Fever lined up, the New York
6:57Liberty are in their locker room warming
6:59up, doing resistance training
7:03while all this is taking place.
7:06Absolutely
7:08ridiculous.
7:11And this person put it perfectly.
7:13But yet players in this league won't
7:15even come out for the national anthem.
7:20The WNBA tries to paint paint itself as
7:21a serious league. It's not a serious
7:23league.
7:24They don't conduct themselves in a
7:25serious manner. They don't behave
7:27seriously.
7:30I mean, you look and you see everybody
7:31else, the NFL, the NHL,
7:34MLB.
7:37I mean, this is This is This Sammy Sosa
