0:00FM 26 mobile tactics explained. We are

0:03going to be explaining everything about

0:05tactics. Either you're a noob, someone

0:06knows who knows about football but not

0:08really about the tactic side, well, this

0:10is the right place for you. And also,

0:12we're going to be explaining a lot about

0:14football in general. Some basic things

0:16you might know or some things you might

0:18not know.

0:19YES!

0:20YES! YES! SO, STAY tuned as we uncover

0:24everything you need to know in this

0:26video about football tactics.

0:28Football tactics, the complete guide.

0:30You have the formations, the player

0:31roles, the midfield, the defense, the

0:33attack, the set pieces, the press

0:35counter, the space sense, wide, compact,

0:38press and counter. Altogether, we have

0:40nine key points to talk about. First of

0:43all,

0:44why tactics exist.

0:46Well, football is about creating

0:48chances. And when you have a tactic, you

0:50can create more chances, you can defend

0:53better, you can control possession, you

0:55can exploit weak spaces in your

0:57opponent's um

0:59your opponent's tactic, I guess, and

1:02stop opposition strengths. So, for

1:05example, here in FM 26 mobile, we come

1:07to view report. When you come to view

1:08report here, we are facing Corona. Our

1:11assistant manager has given us a view

1:13report. When you come to the report

1:15here, we can see what of type of

1:17formation they are going to be rocking.

1:19We can see their strengths. We can see

1:21their weaknesses. With this information,

1:23we can basically adjust our tactic to

1:26kind of benefit benefit us in this game,

1:29which is really, really important. As

1:31you can see, you can see the stats. You

1:33can see your match preparation and stuff

1:35like that, which is really, really

1:36important. This is an underrated screen

1:38that a lot of people don't use and I

1:40encourage a lot of people to actually

1:42use it because it's very, very

1:43beneficial.

1:45Next, we have what is a tactic?

1:48A tactic is basically how a team plays.

1:51It's the player positioning, the team

1:53shape, the pressing, the width, the

1:55tempo, the movement, the

1:57defensive line, the transitions, all of

1:59that. We all know that and that is what

2:01the tactic is about. This is a tactic

2:03that I am using in Valencia. In the

2:05first season, we finished I think fifth,

2:08so we have Europa League and currently

2:10we are doing very, very good in the

2:12league with this tactic. This tactic

2:13gets the best out of our players. It

2:16plays to our player strengths and also

2:18it's very good to kind of switch it up

2:23when I see the view report of our

2:25opponent's weaknesses.

2:28Next, we have formations. Everybody

2:30knows about formations, but this is one

2:33of the most popular formations out

2:34there. It might be the most popular

2:35formation of all time, the 4-3-3

2:38formation. As you can see, this is a

2:39very, very good, solid, balanced

2:41formation. We have team style on

2:43balance, team instructions short

2:45passing, play out from the back, press

2:47after possession loss, wide play, walk

2:49into the box, counter when possible. The

2:51strengths are the pace, the wing play,

2:53the counterattacks, the maintain shape,

2:56avoid player loss, and exploit spaces.

2:58Key to success, quick transitions, play

3:01press as a unit, and create overloads.

3:04If Real Madrid used this tactic in real

3:06life, they would be in a better place. I

3:08promise you, if I was a manager of Real

3:10Madrid, I would be doing

3:11I would be doing something better.

3:13Because the key to success it says quick

3:15transition, press as a unit, create

3:17overloads. Basically, we are just

3:19talking about PSG. This is basically

3:21PSG. Forget about Real Madrid. This is

3:23basically PSG. So, that is what for a

3:27formation looks like. You always want to

3:29have your formation to be balanced so

3:31that your players can play as a unit

3:33because when you play as a unit,

3:36you get the best out of everyone and you

3:37get the best results. If you play

3:39individually, we all know what's

3:41happening to Real Madrid and as a Madrid

3:43fan, it hurts, but that is the reality.

3:45In FM 26 mobile, there are a lot of

3:47tactics. As you can see, the four at the

3:49back there are a lot, the three at the

3:50back there are a lot, and the five the

3:52back there, I love. Me, personally, for

3:54all of these categories, there are two

3:56tactics or one that I usually like to

3:57rock the most. With the three at the

3:59back, this is the one that I would like

4:01that I would likely play. When it comes

4:03to the four at the back there, I love

4:05that you can play, but I usually go to a

4:074-2-4, a 4-2-3-1 with a DM, or a

4:124-2-3-1. These are the best tactics. As

4:14you can see, there are no negatives in

4:16these tactics for my squad. So, these

4:18tactics will fit my squad absolutely

4:21perfectly, and these tactics are very,

4:23very balanced. When it comes to the five

4:24at the back,

4:26the

4:275-3-2.

4:29This is one that I am likely to play. I

4:31usually play a four at the back or a

4:32three at the back, not usually five at

4:34the back, but occasionally, if I'm using

4:36a small team and I want to use a five at

4:38the back, that is the formation I am

4:39going to be using. Next, we have player

4:42roles. There is a lot on this screen,

4:44but I'm just going to go through it

4:45very, very quickly. We have goalkeeper,

4:47protect the goal, command the area,

4:49distribute the ball, start attacks.

4:52Somebody who's very good at this is

4:54Alisson. Defenders, we have the full

4:57backs, defend the flank, support

4:58attacks, overlap and cross, track back.

5:00Great examples, Nuno Mendes, Hakimi.

5:03Center back, defend the center, win

5:05duels in the air, read the game, play

5:07out from the back. Same thing as Gabriel

5:10and Saliba. That also goes for the

5:11sweeper and the libero role. For the

5:13wingers, we have stay wide, take on

5:15defenders, deliver crosses, cut inside

5:17and shoot. Now, a great example of that

5:19would be Vinícius Júnior. I'm not going

5:21to be mentioning any Manchester City

5:23wingers because we all know what they

5:24do. They take the ball down the wing and

5:25they pass it back. We are not doing

5:27that. Another great example is Mitoma. I

5:30mean, Jérémy Doku. You can kind of say

5:32he fits this role or give him the credit

5:34for that. We have the striker, score

5:36goals, attack the space, hold up play,

5:38finish the chances.

5:40Then, you have a second striker, in case

5:42you're playing a shadow striker. But,

5:44for the midfield, you have the defensive

5:45midfielder, they shield the defense, win

5:48possession,

5:49um simple distribution, the Caicedo, the

5:51Casemiros. The center midfielder control

5:54the game, pass and move, support the

5:56defense. We have the Vitinhas and the

5:58João Neves. Attacking midfielder create

6:00chances,

6:01play killer passes, arrive in the box,

6:03Florian Wirtz, Jamal Musiala. The key to

6:08success, play your role, know your

6:11team's

6:12know your teammates,

6:14communicate, work for the team.

6:16Attacking principles, create width,

6:18penetrate lines, support the ball,

6:19finish the chances.

6:21Very, very simple. Play your players in

6:24their right role. When it comes to FM 26

6:27Mobile, you want your players to play in

6:29their preferred roles because that is

6:31their natural positions, that is the

6:32positions they have learned, that is the

6:34positions they have the most strength

6:36in. Someone like Matheus Cunha.

6:40As you can see here down here, it says

6:41shadow striker. I am playing him in the

6:43shadow striker role. Let's look at his

6:45stats real quick.

6:46Stats real quick.

6:48Two games played, two goals, one assist,

6:50eight rating. Absolutely perfect. Same

6:53thing goes for Mateta, target forward.

6:55What role is he playing? Target forward.

6:57You can see what is happening. Adam

6:59Wharton, same thing, deep lying

7:00playmaker.

7:02Same thing is happening. So, you know

7:03what to do. Play your players in their

7:05right preferred roles. Try to adjust

7:07your tactics to fit your players. Don't

7:09always try to make your players to

7:11adjust to fit your tactic. We have seen

7:13that in Real Madrid. Play to the

7:14strengths of the players. Something that

7:16Michael Carrick is doing in Manchester

7:18United. Defend and attack. This screen

7:21has a lot, so I'm not going to be

7:22reading any everything in this screen,

7:24but you can pause and read whatever you

7:26want to read. But, this is a summarized

7:29version of what I took out from here.

7:32Every tactic sacrifice something. More

7:35attack usually means more goals, more

7:37risk defensively.

7:39We know that that is Barcelona. They

7:41prefer to score goals than defend. They

7:43are playing that high line ball. More

7:45defense usually means safer defending,

7:47less attacking threat. Getafe, we all

7:50know what they do there.

7:52Kind of Arsenal

7:54sometimes you can kind of see that. For

7:57example, ultra ultra attacking, we have

8:00Barcelona. They play a high line, many

8:02runs, heavy pressing. The weakness is

8:05huge spaces huge spaces behind. As we

8:08can see that Atletico Madrid took

8:09advantage of that. Last season, Inter

8:12Milan took advantage of that.

8:14But defensively, we have a compact

8:15shape, deep line, hard to break down.

8:17Atletico.

8:19The weakness is less chances created. As

8:21you can see, Getafe Getafe are about to

8:23make you are about to go to Europe.

8:27But

8:28they have one of the wildest stats. Just

8:30go and search up Getafe. I think they

8:32have scored one goal in every game and

8:35not conceded I don't know, but it was a

8:38crazy stat that was just wild. Search up

8:41Getafe for that. But defense and attack

8:43is pretty it's pretty simple. Either you

8:47prioritize one of them. For defense and

8:49attack in FM 26 mobile, right now I am

8:52prioritizing attack. As you can see,

8:54our defense looks balanced, but it's not

8:56actually balanced because we have a wing

8:58back, which means when he when we are in

9:00possession, he pushes up the pitch. That

9:03means that we are left with three

9:04players at the back. Beraldo,

9:08Gassio, I'm not even going to pronounce

9:09his name. Gassio and Oscar Mingueza.

9:12Three players at the back. So, we are

9:14prioritizing attack more than defense.

9:17If I was to play him as a normal full

9:19back, okay, you can kind of see the

9:20formation is balanced, but you get the

9:22point of what I'm trying to say.

9:24Next, we have set pieces. Everybody

9:27knows what set pieces are. We have

9:28corners, we have throw-ins, we have

9:30penalties, we have free kicks, goal

9:33kicks, long throws. These are all set

9:35pieces and they are very very crucial.

9:38We have seen how important

9:40set pieces can and

9:43a team

9:44that took advantage of the set pieces

9:46might actually win a trophy in Arsenal.

9:49We have corners. We have attacking

9:51corners. We have defending corners. We

9:53have

9:54throw-ins attacking, defending. You have

9:56penalties, taking penalties, and saving

9:58penalties.

9:59One thing I'm going to say about

10:00penalties is

10:02for goalkeepers who save penalties, a

10:04lot from my experience, they tend to

10:06have a high commanding presence, and I'm

10:10going to be showing you guys in a few

10:11seconds in FM 26 Mobile. We have

10:13throw-long throws. We have seen this in

10:16the Premier League. A lot of teams like

10:17Bournemouth, they take advantage of the

10:19long throws, get the ball inside, and

10:22another

10:24example of long throws was if you watch

10:26the Saudi League, Al-Hilal versus

10:28Al-Nassr,

10:29Al-Hilal took advantage of the long

10:31throw and actually scored a goal in the

10:33last minute to draw the game versus

10:35Al-Nassr. When it comes to set pieces in

10:38FM, this is what I'm rocking for my set

10:40pieces. When it comes to set pieces, you

10:42come to attack. Um we come here.

10:45Right now for distribution, we have

10:48penalty spot. Right now, my best corner

10:51taker, when he gets the ball in the

10:52corner, what does he do? He kicks the

10:54ball into the penalty spot. I do that

10:57because I have a very, very good header

10:58in Mateta. He wins a lot of balls in the

11:01penalty spot, and one of his goals this

11:03season was actually from a corner.

11:05Same thing goes for the other side.

11:08Same thing to the penalty spot. When it

11:10comes to the free kicks, I usually do

11:12shoot and shoot. These are distances

11:14where if you have a very good free kick

11:16taker, he should be it should be a

11:19guaranteed goal.

11:20I'm telling you. These spots are a

11:23guaranteed goal. If they don't score,

11:25you might want to change your free kick

11:27taker. Usually, strikers usually score

11:29from this position.

11:30But for the rest, I kind of keep it

11:32balanced, you know? The default is

11:34pretty good. Sometimes give the short um

11:38the short passes, sometimes the long

11:40passes. You can do default for the rest,

11:42but for the free kicks and the corners,

11:44those are the ones that are really,

11:46really effective for me, and I'll advise

11:48you to use them.

11:50Next, we have press and counter. There

11:53is a lot on the screen, so if you want

11:54to pause it, you can pause, but

11:57but we can actually read from the

11:58screen. Press, a coordinated team effort

12:01to win the ball back as high up the

12:03pitch as possible. Objectives, win the

12:06ball in dangerous area, prevent the

12:07opponent from building, force mistakes,

12:10keep the opponent in pressure.

12:12For the counter, quick transition from

12:15defense to attack, exploiting the space

12:16behind the opponent. Ob- Objectives,

12:20exploit space behind the defense, attack

12:22with speed and numbers, create

12:24high-quality chances, score before the

12:27opponent recovers. What is the perfect

12:29example of this? Liverpool. Liverpool

12:32under Jürgen Klopp is probably one of

12:34the best teams I have ever witnessed

12:36play football, and

12:38I am a Manchester United fan, so that is

12:40becau- it say a lot when it comes to me.

12:43And unfortunately, Pep was so good that

12:45Jürgen Klopp didn't win much, but

12:47for the press and the counter, that was

12:50pure mm

12:52Liverpool football.

12:53But there are teams that um

12:56when you kind of think about There are

12:57some teams that either have one of

12:59these.

13:00Teams that have one of these are

13:01actually good, but Liverpool had both,

13:03so they were actually good. For the

13:04press, we can see PSG. We all know the

13:06PSG press is one of the most dangerous

13:09presses in the world. You see those eyes

13:10on Dembélé, you just know you're cooked.

13:13PSG kind of do the press and the

13:14counter, they don't really do much on

13:15that. For the counter, you want to look

13:17at teams that are great in counter, you

13:19look at Real Madrid.

13:20Real Madrid are known for counters ever

13:23since the time of Ronaldo. He has been

13:25counters till today, he's still counter

13:28and I think that is what they should be

13:30prioritizing on.

13:32But there are a lot to look on here. A

13:34lot of great things that you can take

13:35from this image. So, pause and look at

13:38it.

13:39When it comes to press and counter in FM

13:412020 mobile, it's kind of simple.

13:44I always recommend if you want to play

13:45counter, I usually play two full backs.

13:48I mean two wing backs. You can play one

13:50wing back, but I like playing two wing

13:52backs. Then when it comes to team

13:55mentality, of course if you're playing

13:56the counter, the team mentality to be on

13:59counter. And if you're also playing

14:00counter, the passing tempo should be on

14:02fast and creative freedom can be on

14:04discipline or expressive. Either one of

14:06them is going to work. For the press

14:08however, for the press I like either you

14:11play a high line to gain back the ball

14:13quickly, but it kind of leaves spaces in

14:15your defense which your opponent can

14:17catch you on the counter. So, I usually

14:18play a defensive line and a closing down

14:21on all over. This is the best press you

14:24can get in the game.

14:25And it's very, very good because if you

14:27win the ball from this press, the

14:29counter is going to be absolutely smooth

14:30because we have two wing backs down

14:32there.

14:33For the attack,

14:35um passing focus, you can do both flanks

14:37for counters. It doesn't really matter

14:39much, but

14:40um passing style for counters, I usually

14:43like to play direct. You can play mixed

14:45only if you have a very, very good

14:46squad, but if your team is pretty

14:48average, just do direct so that we get

14:51the ball there easily. And also for the

14:53final third for the counters, you do

14:55through balls and you can do um shoot on

14:58sight. That is very, very great for

15:00counters, so try it out. Let me know

15:02what I think about it. Next, we have

15:04space sense.

15:06Space sense is the ability to see,

15:09understand, and use space before it

15:12opens up. It's about awareness,

15:14positioning, movement, and timing. That

15:17is why you always see players like

15:18Erling Haaland make those quick runs

15:21because they trying to open space like

15:24once a striker makes a run, a defender's

15:27natural instinct is to follow that

15:29striker and that leaves open space for

15:32an attacking midfielder like Bruno

15:34Fernandes to easily slot that ball in

15:36and if you have an inside forward that

15:38inverts in like Bryan Mbeumo, it's an

15:41easy goal. So, that is the easiest

15:42explanation of space sense. There are a

15:45lot of things here that you can take

15:47from this image like awareness,

15:48observation, positioning,

15:53in it's very, very important. Probably

15:56one of the most important attacking

15:59aspect aspect is space sense. As you can

16:02see here, create space, move the

16:04opponent, stretch the field, distributes

16:07distribute

16:08disrupts space, then use the space, play

16:11forward, play wide, play through,

16:13defense the space, deny space, protect

16:16the dangerous areas. How to improve

16:18space sense? Scan constantly. Someone

16:21who scan constantly is Joshua Kimmich

16:24and Pedri and those are some of the most

16:26effective midfielders we know. Watch

16:29more games, learn from the best, go

16:31watch Pep Guardiola, train small-sided

16:33games, you know what we're talking

16:34about, play with intelligence, not

16:36intensity, play smart, not hard and as

16:39we can see that was someone like Luka

16:41Modrić at his age, he's still doing

16:43crazy because he plays smart, not hard.

16:45Communicate with your teammates. As we

16:47see that when Modrić Kroos and Casemiro,

16:51they all communicated with each other.

16:52Same thing with Xavi, Iniesta and

16:53Busquets, they all communicated and also

16:56practice game-like situations. Very,

16:59very important. So, now let us go into

17:01the FM version of it. When you come into

17:04FM

17:06creating space is actually easy because

17:08when you overload let's come to the team

17:11shape. When you overload it creates more

17:14space in the sense that once you

17:17overload, the opponent feels the

17:18pressure, so they can press you because

17:21you are already overloading them. So,

17:23that kind of creates spaces in between

17:26their defense. Or sometimes when the

17:28opponent is playing a high line, there

17:30are a lot of spaces in their defense as

17:32we can see that with Barcelona. One

17:35singular pass can split Barcelona in

17:37half. And a very good way to have space

17:40in FM 26 Mobile is by playing a width on

17:43high. Playing a wide width is very, very

17:47good, but I recommend this only if you

17:48have great players who can take

17:49advantage of this. If you have Bukayo

17:51Saka, the Vinicius Junior, or just say a

17:53winger with great pace and dribbling,

17:56and you play your width on wide, that

17:59will create a lot of spaces because you

18:00are stretching the opponent. When you

18:02stretch the opponent, there are spaces

18:04in between their formation and their

18:06tactics, which you can easily capitalize

18:08from it.

18:09For the next, we have width and

18:11compactness. There's a lot on the

18:13screen, but I'm going to summarize in

18:15easier version. For the width, wide

18:17tactics, stretch defense, use wingers,

18:19create crossing chances. Weaknesses,

18:22midfield gaps, and that is exactly what

18:25we're talking about because once your

18:27width is wider,

18:28it creates kind of creates space for

18:31your opponent, too, because they are

18:32trying to man mark your players, but at

18:35the same time, it also creates a lot of

18:36space for you, too. So, your opponent

18:38can kind of catch you on the counter

18:39attack.

18:40Compact tactics.

18:42Compact tactics, which is basically

18:44narrow. Keeps players together, better

18:48passing triangles, and harder to break.

18:50Perfect example of this is Manchester

18:53City and Barcelona. The more compact you

18:56are, your players are close to each

18:57other, so they can easily keep

18:59possession more. But, the weakness is

19:03less width, so less chances created, but

19:05at the same time, you're pretty narrow,

19:07you can easily get through an opponent's

19:09midfield. Now, we have how to create

19:11width, wide positioning, hold the width,

19:13switch play, wide runs, isolate, how to

19:16stay compact, short distances,

19:18horizontal compactness, vertical

19:20compactness, shift together, protect

19:22their center. You can kind of read,

19:24pause, and read it. Very, very important

19:26information.

19:27When you're in FM26 Mobile,

19:30you want to play a narrow

19:32width. These are the best instructions

19:34to play a narrow width. When you play a

19:36narrow width, what I will say is always

19:38play your attacking midfielder as an

19:41advanced playmaker. You can kind of have

19:43like

19:44either

19:46an advanced playmaker again, then have

19:48like a box-to-box midfielder, or

19:51a roaming playmaker.

19:53Then have a normal center midfielder.

19:56Then switch him to an attacking

19:58midfielder. When you come to the shape,

20:00obviously you're a narrow. Your passing

20:02tempo kind should either be on slow or

20:05fast. I prefer fast. Creative freedom on

20:07discipline. When you come to the

20:09defense, you leave everything.

20:11When you come to the final third,

20:12passing style on short, that is the most

20:14effective. When you're playing a narrow,

20:16your players are close to each other.

20:18And when the shape creative freedom is

20:21on discipline, those players stay close

20:24to each other. And how do you get the

20:26best out of that? Short passing. You

20:28don't want to play long passes.

20:30And start stretching the ball out of the

20:32pitch. No, your players are close to

20:33each other. Give those one-two passes.

20:36You can either do it on short or direct.

20:38Either of them is very, very important.

20:40Maybe you're playing something like a

20:42wide width. When it comes to the wide

20:44width, you can do your passing tempo on

20:46kind of normal. Creative freedom on

20:48balance. When you come to your attack,

20:50this where it changes. When you're

20:51playing a wide width,

20:52do your passing on long. Very, very

20:55important. Do your passing on long. And

20:57that will help you

20:59in numerous ways. Finally, we have the

21:02last midfield roles.

21:05Midfield roles are very, very, very

21:08important. The midfield is the heart

21:10Midfield is the heart of football. It is

21:13the heart of the team. If you lose

21:14midfield, you lose possession, you lose

21:17control, your defense gets exposed. So,

21:19having a strong midfield can absolutely

21:22change your team. And a strong mid-

21:24strong midfield controls tempo, passing,

21:28pressing, space, possession.

21:31The most important part of the

21:33football pitch of the football team is

21:36the midfield. Most winning tactics have

21:39balanced midfields, as we can see that

21:40with Luis Enrique's PSG. For example,

21:43you have one defensive midfielder, one

21:45creative midfielder, and one runner.

21:47That is exactly what you have in PSG.

21:50But, PSG have like two runners because

21:52um João Neves is an absolutely freak of

21:55[snorts] nature.

21:57But, yeah, this is what the midfield

21:59roles look like. You have the defensive

22:00midfielder, the holding, the center

22:02attacking midfielder, the box-to-box

22:04man, center attacking midfielder, a

22:05playmaker, or you can play an attacking

22:07midfielder. Why are the midfielders key?

22:10Controls the game, connects everyone,

22:12wins the battle, creates the stand- the

22:14chances. As you can see successful

22:16midfielders down here, you have the

22:17Rodri, the Bellingham, the Modrić, the

22:19KDB. Very, very good players. When you

22:22want to buy a midfielder, you want to

22:23focus on these attributes.

22:25Key attributes: vision, passing,

22:27stamina, tackling, composure, decisions,

22:30and creativity.

22:32You have those aspects in the player.

22:36Lord have mercy.

22:38All of these players down here have one

22:40of these, and they are very, very good

22:41at it.

22:42How they work together balances the key.

22:45Cover each other, communicate, stay

22:47compact, think as one unit. Great

22:50example, Vitinha, João Neves, Fabián

22:53Ruiz, Casemiro, Modrić, Toni Kroos,

22:57Busquets, Iniesta,

22:59Xavi,

23:01Manchester City, KDB, Rodri, Gundogan,

23:05Arsenal, Declan Rice,

23:08Martin Odegaard, and Zubimendi. You go

23:11to Inter Milan, you have um Calhanoglu,

23:14Mkhitaryan, and Nicolò Barella. You go

23:17to Juventus, you have McKennie,

23:20um Khephren Thuram, and Locatelli. Right

23:23now, I'm just going out with my ball

23:25knowledge. You see the ball knowledge?

23:29Man,

23:31Manchester United, Bruno Fernandes,

23:33Casemiro, Koulibaly, Liverpool, Mac

23:37Allister, um

23:39Szoboszlai, and

23:42please, um Ryan Gravenberch. My god.

23:45Bayern Munich, you have

23:48uh

23:50Pavlović,

23:52uh Musiala, Goretzka, or Kimmich, or

23:55Laimer. You get what I'm saying? I will

23:58flex my ball knowledge. I have crazy

24:00ball knowledge. But, for the defensive

24:01midfielder, you have shielded defense,

24:03break up opposition play, win duels and

24:05second balls, distribute simple passes,

24:08maintain defensive shape, midfield,

24:09support attack and defense, cover a lot

24:11of ground, lead runs into the box,

24:14press, and win the ball back, support

24:17wide players. For the center midfielder,

24:19play making role, you receive

24:22receive between the lines, turn, and

24:25play forward, switch, dictates the

24:27tempo, create chances, keeps possession.

24:29For attacking midfielder, they find

24:30spaces between the lines, play the

24:31killer pass, dribbling and take on

24:33defender, shoot and score, support the

24:35striker. Easy explanation of Jamal

24:38Musiala or Florian Wirtz. When you're in

24:40FM, as we can see,

24:43have a balanced midfield. This was the

24:44midfield I was working. I think I

24:46remember it. It was in deep lying

24:48playmaker.

24:51Um a center midfielder for Guera, I

24:53think, and a shadow striker, but

24:56for more balance, you can also play

24:58Guerreiro as a box-to-box midfielder. He

25:00can both attack and defend. Matheus

25:01Cunha is a shadow striker, the second

25:04man behind Mateta, and

25:06Adam Wharton. He gives those killer

25:07passes. He is the Fabián Ruiz of my

25:10midfield.

25:11He defends, but his passing is insane,

25:13so he gives those killer passes.

25:15Guerreiro has the stamina to play a

25:17box-to-box role. He also has a great

25:19shot in him, and Cunha, we all know what

25:21he can do. When you come to the shape

25:23for the midfield, I usually play in I

25:25like playing narrow, passing tempo fast,

25:28creative freedom, discipline for the

25:30midfield.

25:32Um for the attack,

25:33for the passing, it depends on what I'm

25:35playing. It really, really depends, but

25:38sometimes I usually play short passing

25:40or mixed passing.

25:41But yeah,

25:42that's kind of it. If you have any
