0:00These are eight times officers caught
0:02something on their body cams that nobody
0:04can explain
0:05>> [music]
0:05>> and the more you look at the footage the
0:07less any of it starts to make sense.
0:13Case one, the voicemails. On the morning
0:16of March 11th, 2026,
0:19a man in Florida walks up to a police
0:21officer in a parking lot with his phone
0:23already in his hand.
0:25>> Hey.
0:26>> Um, I'm just wanting to document
0:27everything that's going on. So, I'm I'm
0:29calling them up. This is from last
0:31night. Did you you saw the the email I
0:33sent you? So, I don't know if you want
0:35to go through these again, but I don't
0:37know if you listened to them they're
0:38[ __ ] scary.
0:39>> What? What is going Clearly something's
0:41going on with her. Like that that's not
0:43normal behavior.
0:45>> How you make your voice sound like that?
0:47>> Right.
0:47>> He isn't there to report a crime against
0:49himself. He just wants everything
0:52documented on the record because of what
0:54he woke up to the night before.
0:56>> Okay, so you had them last night when
0:58these voicemails were coming in?
1:00>> And I saw them this morning, yeah. This
1:02morning. And that is scary. Like that
1:04gave me chills the first few times.
1:06I don't know how scared I have to
1:07actually be.
1:08>> It just that doesn't sound like she's in
1:10her right state of mind at all.
1:12>> In the space of a single hour, his
1:14ex-wife had called him 17 times and left
1:18nine voicemails. The two of them were
1:20married for years and the kids they
1:22share are the only reason he still has
1:24any contact with her at all.
1:26He's moved on. He has a new partner and
1:29a new life. But when he starts playing
1:31the voicemails back for the officer, the
1:34sound coming out of the phone doesn't
1:36land like a message at all.
1:37>> Do me a favor and play them.
1:52Play the other one.
1:53>> Okay, we're up to second one here.
2:05>> That was 145. This is 146.
2:16>> [clears throat]
2:28>> 147
2:38>> [screaming]
2:49>> 147
2:51149
3:08It's screaming, crying, a voice begging
3:11for help and saying that someone has
3:13been killed, twisted and stretched until
3:16there's barely anything human left in
3:18it.
3:21>> [screaming]
3:26[screaming]
3:32>> It's 150.
3:47>> [screaming]
3:53>> 151
3:57>> [screaming]
4:04>> 152
4:09>> [screaming]
4:18[screaming]
4:23[screaming]
4:24>> Uh 152
4:27This is 154.
4:33>> [screaming]
4:39[screaming]
4:44[screaming]
4:47>> The officer goes quiet while it plays.
4:50Then he asks the man more than once if
4:53he's completely certain that voice
4:54belongs to his ex-wife. [music]
4:57He says he's certain.
4:58Nobody else has that number and nobody
5:01else is calling him.
5:02But the part that clearly frightens him
5:04most isn't the screaming itself.
5:07It's what he can hear buried underneath
5:09it.
5:10His kids are sometimes with her when
5:12these calls come in and he admits he
5:14can't always tell whether he's listening
5:16to his ex-wife on that recording or his
5:18own daughter.
5:20Later that day, the officer drives out
5:22to her house to check on her.
5:24According to the report, she had already
5:26gone back and deleted some of her calls
5:28from that night.
5:30She grew agitated the second the
5:31officers arrived and she was arrested
5:34for obscene communication, a form of
5:36stalking, with a court date set for
5:39early May. When the footage was uploaded
5:41online, the comment section landed on
5:43the same word over and over, demonic.
5:47Thousands of people were convinced the
5:48voice wasn't a woman having a breakdown
5:50at all, but something that had gotten
5:52inside her and started speaking through
5:54her.
5:55There's no way to prove a thing like
5:56that, obviously,
5:58and there's nothing on the recording
5:59that cleanly rules it out, either.
6:02What you're left with is a custody
6:03dispute, a visit from the police, and
6:06nine voicemails that most people can't
6:08make it through to the end. Case two,
6:11the old Liberty High School.
6:14Two brothers run a channel where they
6:16spend their nights inside abandoned
6:18buildings, calling out to whatever they
6:20think might still be inside.
6:22>> Yeah, guys, we're going to be
6:23approaching tonight the Liberty High
6:26School. Never been investigated before.
6:28Never. Never ever. It's in Ohio, bro.
6:30I'm really nervous for this school in
6:32particular due to the unknown amount of
6:34history.
6:35>> In the summer of 2024, they picked a
6:38place almost nobody had ever
6:40investigated, the old Liberty High
6:42School in Ohio.
6:44It's a huge four-story building sitting
6:46all alone in the middle of farmland.
6:49There's almost no history left about the
6:51school, which is part of what drew them
6:53to it.
6:54Most of the records are gone.
6:56The little that survived is grim.
6:59>> At Liberty High School, it is documented
7:01that the staff would use a method called
7:03the sin box, an extremely small room
7:06designed to mimic the effects of a
7:08solitary confinement cell. So, these
7:11children being placed in solitary
7:13confinement rooms
7:14>> During school, bro?
7:16>> No.
7:16>> During school. That would piss me off
7:18and make me miserable. And imagine the
7:20energy that's locked into this place,
7:22dude. If a child misbehaved, the staff
7:24would shove children inside a tiny room
7:27overlooking the gymnasium and would even
7:29put a board alongside the open wall,
7:31shrouding the room in complete darkness.
7:35Imagine you're stuck all day in like a
7:37few feet by few feet room, and all you
7:40can do is just think about what you did.
7:42>> Back when the school was still open, the
7:44staff used to punish kids with something
7:46they called the sin box, a tiny room
7:49built above the gymnasium that was so
7:50small a grown man can touch both walls
7:53at once. If a child misbehaved, they'd
7:56be locked inside it and a board would be
7:58slid across the open side to seal them
8:00in complete darkness for the rest of the
8:02school day.
8:04The brothers read all of this out loud
8:05before going in.
8:07>> Oh.
8:07>> I'm so nervous.
8:08>> Oh my god, dude.
8:10>> At night, this thing is terrifying, bro.
8:12>> Look at that.
8:14>> Oh my god.
8:16>> Dude, this is going to be terrifying,
8:17man. Let's go into the Liberty School.
8:28Is there anybody here?
8:30Any spirits, children, teachers,
8:32principals,
8:34janitors?
8:36We're here to talk to you tonight.
8:38Don't be scared of us.
8:40Feel free to make any kind of noises as
8:41you want.
8:45Hello?
8:48Holy woah.
8:51Did something just get thrown, dog? You
8:52want
8:56Can you walk towards us?
9:00Woah, bat.
9:01>> Where you going, dude?
9:03>> What the hell was that?
9:04>> It's a bat, I think.
9:05>> It is a bat. Oh.
9:07>> Oh, no. This isn't good.
9:08>> No, this is not good.
9:09>> This isn't good.
9:11Oh, crap.
9:12>> Hey, bat.
9:15Hello.
9:16>> Hey, mister.
9:17It's right there, you see it?
9:19>> Is that your bat? Mr. Bird? Okay, it's a
9:20dove.
9:21>> it's a dove, pigeon.
9:23>> It's a pigeon.
9:25>> We got [laughter] him.
9:26>> Hey, buddy.
9:27>> All right. Keep exploring, bro. Let's
9:28work our way down.
9:31>> We are on the same floor as the sin box.
9:32>> Oh, dude, the sin box.
9:33>> Right here.
9:34>> Dude, so this is the box. It's basically
9:37the press box for the gymnasium.
9:39They actually lock kids who misbehave in
9:42this box.
9:45>> Standing outside while the sun sets, and
9:48one of them says what everyone watching
9:49is already thinking.
9:51That a place like that holds on to
9:53whatever happened inside it.
9:55They head in as it gets dark, and for a
9:58while it's the usual stuff.
10:00Empty rooms, flashlights, equipment that
10:03beeps for no clear reason.
10:05At one point, a pigeon flies out of the
10:07dark and scares them so badly one of
10:10them almost runs. And then their devices
10:13start answering back.
10:15>> Woah.
10:23Such an eerie feeling. I don't like it.
10:26>> I don't either.
10:27>> Should we keep walking, dude?
10:28>> Yeah, let's just keep walking.
10:35>> Okay.
10:37>> What?
10:38>> I hope that was a bat cleared out there,
10:40but I 100%
10:44100% saw a black ball just go across the
10:48middle of that hallway. Yes, dude.
10:49>> go check it out.
10:50>> Anyone down here with us?
10:52We're here to communicate.
10:58>> What is that?
10:59>> What is that?
11:01>> It's a raven.
11:03Shh, be careful.
11:21>> Dude.
11:25Shh.
11:29It sounded like it was blowing up up up
11:30up up.
11:31That was blowing up.
11:33>> Sounds in the running footsteps.
11:34>> explain like 10 running footsteps?
11:36>> No.
11:38Let's since we're getting a ton of weird
11:40things right here, let's just set up in
11:42the middle and put gear all around us
11:43and see what happens.
11:44>> All right, so now we're sitting on the
11:45third floor hallway.
11:46The REM pod just went nuts. So now it's
11:48time to see
11:50exactly what is up here with us right
11:51now. Can you go like that, bro, again?
11:53>> Yeah, let me take my bag off.
11:55>> Three,
11:57two,
11:58one.
12:01>> It's a different vibe.
12:02>> Yeah, it's horrible.
12:03>> So guys, look at Noah's camera. That is
12:04what we're seeing right now.
12:11Can you touch that REM pod again, that
12:12red light?
12:16Touch one of our pieces of equipment.
12:20Huh?
12:23Dude.
12:28Bro, what the hell was that?
12:29>> a ball of light run in front of me.
12:30>> No way.
12:31>> Yeah, it was like it looked like a
12:33freaking like
12:35like a plasma.
12:37>> Dude, what was that bang?
12:38>> I don't know. That was loud.
12:48I just heard a kid go, "Hey."
12:50>> Yeah, IT WAS LIKE
12:51>> OH MY GOD.
12:56>> BACK AWAY IF WE HEARD YOUR VOICE.
13:01Was that someone else?
13:07Can you touch that again?
13:10Dude, right when you heard the kid's
13:12voice.
13:13>> What is happening, man?
13:14>> I don't know.
13:15But that was a clear voice.
13:17>> Yeah, it was like
13:18>> Hey.
13:18>> It was like a hey. I heard like weird.
13:21And then the freaking REM pod went off
13:22detecting an energy surge.
13:25>> In the old locker room, a spirit box
13:27begins pulling single words out of the
13:29static. When one of the brothers asks
13:32how someone ended up here, the box says
13:34stranded. When he asks what happened, it
13:37says homicide and then it says homicide
13:39again. A motion sensor their own father
13:42built for them, meant to light up when
13:44something crosses in front of it,
13:46suddenly goes off with nothing there,
13:48and then dies completely at the exact
13:50same second as their camera and two
13:52other devices,
13:53>> [music]
13:54>> as if something in that room needed the
13:55power more than they did. Down in the
13:58basement, it doesn't stop. One of them
14:01feels something touch his leg when
14:03there's nothing there. Footsteps that
14:05aren't theirs can be heard coming from
14:07floors they know are empty.
14:17>> OH MY GOD, JAKE!
14:19>> WAS THAT INSIDE?
14:21>> YEAH.
14:22>> SHH.
14:23Get down here now.
14:25Now get down here, dude.
14:26>> No, you come with me, bro.
14:28That was on my level.
14:29>> Call the cops on my phone now. Call the
14:31cops.
14:32Call the [ __ ] cops.
14:40Call the [ __ ] cops.
14:43Let's get down. Turn the lights off.
14:48>> 911, what is your emergency?
14:50>> And at the old Waverly High School,
14:52there's shots fired. Please come here
14:53quick.
14:54>> Okay, sir. What is your name?
14:56Are you guys under attack right now,
14:58fighting?
14:59>> Kind of, but not really.
15:03>> Okay.
15:04And what can you actually hear?
15:06>> I just hear them. I heard them mess with
15:08the door.
15:11>> And then, standing in the cellar, one of
15:13the brothers hears what he's certain are
15:15gunshots outside, seven of them, close,
15:19somewhere in the parking lot. He runs to
15:22find his brother. They hear something
15:24rattling the one door in the building
15:25that actually locks, and they do the
15:27only thing that makes sense. They call
15:29the police.
15:31This is where it stops being a normal
15:32ghost hunt.
15:36>> No, we just heard the gunshots right
15:37outside and I ran up here.
15:39And then we hear them entering. It
15:40sounds like it outside by the north
15:43side.
15:48Okay.
16:15Thank you.
16:19We're going over here.
16:19>> Do you have anything at all?
16:20>> No, we have nothing.
16:21>> Are you the callers?
16:22>> Yes, yeah, we are.
16:24>> So, what happened?
16:25>> Well, we're in
16:27we're in here uh
16:28filming a ghost video of all things, and
16:31I was kind of standing down here in the
16:33cellar, and it sounded like it had to
16:35have been like in this parking lot just
16:36like seven shots. So, I ran up to him
16:39uh where he was up in the gymnasium, and
16:42we just heard like rattling on the door,
16:44and that's when we were like, "Yeah, we
16:44should probably call."
16:45>> The gunshots were all here. The the uh
16:48rattling on the door and the footsteps
16:49were in the gymnasium, which is right
16:50over here.
16:54>> Sheriff's office, whoever you are, make
16:56yourself known.
16:58>> We're over here like on I heard on that
16:59stair.
17:00>> the
17:01noises like I don't know cuz I was in
17:02the damn box, so I didn't
17:03>> You you didn't hear the noises like the
17:05gunshots?
17:05>> No, like that's why I screamed.
17:11>> JACK!
17:12>> WE WERE LITERALLY IN THAT WINDOW DOING
17:13AN EVP SESSION, and And were right here.
17:19>> Oh my god.
18:29There's nobody in there to prove
18:30something in there.
18:32>> Are you serious?
18:33>> For real.
18:33>> Oh, yeah.
18:35>> Like what do you mean?
18:37>> Like
18:38>> What?
18:38>> Let me just go.
18:40>> For real.
18:41>> So, right there on the second floor.
18:43>> Yes.
18:43>> We were looking this way.
18:45>> Oh, I heard pitter-patter like like that
18:49along the What would that be? The east
18:51wall?
18:51>> Yeah.
18:52>> And then he hears it at the end of the
18:54hallway and as I'm taking my light down
18:56I see something go like dark across the
18:58>> Are you Are you guys dead ass?
18:59[clears throat]
18:59>> Swear.
18:59>> Do you have body cams?
19:00>> No.
19:01>> But we were we were talking about you
19:02guys. We were like
19:03>> Let's just black out for a second.
19:05So, we went completely black in there
19:08and all of a sudden we heard
19:09>> Yeah.
19:10>> movement behind us and we just
19:11>> ran.
19:11>> For real Cuz there's nobody in there.
19:13>> The officers arrive and clear the
19:15building like there's a real intruder
19:16inside. Because as far as they know,
19:19someone just fired seven shots and tried
19:21to force a door. But they find nothing.
19:24No shell casings, no shooter, no other
19:27footprints in the dust. The brothers
19:30explain what they were doing in there
19:31and the cops take it surprisingly well.
19:34Then, while they're all still inside,
19:36the officers go quiet. One of them says
19:39he heard footsteps moving along a wall
19:41on the second floor. Soft and quick
19:43heading toward the end of a hallway. As
19:45he lowers his flashlight toward the
19:47sound, he watches something at the far
19:49end of the hall go dark. Like a shape
19:52stepping out of his light. He asks the
19:54brothers, more than once, if they're
19:56absolutely sure there's nobody else in
19:58the building. They tell him no. There's
20:01no one else in there. After that, the
20:03officers leave. Not slowly and not to go
20:06write up a report, but quickly, telling
20:09the brothers that if they hear anything
20:10else, they better hope it turns out to
20:12be a real person. And then wishing them
20:15good luck on the way out. Whatever fired
20:17those shots was never found. No suspect,
20:20no shell casings, no explanation for the
20:23seven bangs picked up on the brothers'
20:25own audio. What's left on camera is two
20:27trained police officers walking into a
20:29building expecting an armed man, finding
20:32nothing they could arrest, and choosing
20:34to walk right back out into the dark
20:36instead of staying to figure out what
20:37they'd just seen. Case three.
20:40>> A mausoleum.
20:42>> Some places stay with a person because
20:44of who they belong to.
20:46For a paranormal investigator named
20:48Terry, the building she walked into in
20:50May of 2022 belonged to Josh, her
20:53partner,
20:54who had spent years working there as a
20:56night security guard before he finally
20:59stopped going back.
21:00>> What's going on, guys? Got a special
21:02treat for you. Terry's going to be all
21:04right. Yeah, we're doing this solo. You
21:06guys enjoy what's about to come.
21:08>> She went in alone. No team, no spirit
21:11box, just a flashlight and a camera with
21:15Josh watching the live video from
21:16outside.
21:17>> Okay, so out of all the I'm not going to
21:20talk, you guys. I'm going to be quiet.
21:21Out of all the places I have ever been
21:23to and investigated,
21:26this is um
21:28the
21:29the creepiest place.
21:32This place had the most uh
21:34>> [sighs]
21:35>> feeling to it is what uh I can explain
21:39to you.
21:40Uh [sighs and gasps]
21:42that's all I'm going to say it. What the
21:44hell is this? Okay, I'm going to be
21:46quiet now and here we go.
21:51>> She's been inside a lot of scary
21:52buildings over the years, but she says
21:55this one felt worse than anywhere she'd
21:57ever been. And she says it before
21:59anything even happens in the voice
22:01people use when they already know they
22:03shouldn't have come.
22:05>> Does that look like somebody's standing
22:06there?
22:08Go straight.
22:11So you come down, I will see the chapel
22:12on my left.
22:15Okay, yeah, go straight.
22:19>> The first thing that's wrong is small.
22:21There's a light on somewhere inside the
22:23building and when she finds the switch
22:25that's supposed to control it, the
22:27switch is off.
22:28She stops for a second to work out what
22:30that means,
22:31then decides she doesn't want to.
22:34>> Oh.
22:35Pardon my French, but mother effer.
22:39Holy [ __ ]
22:42This is it, you guys.
22:47It is locked.
22:48Josh, can you please you're not helping
22:51me here.
22:52Oh my god. This is scary as it is.
22:56[ __ ]
22:57Oh my god.
23:04I don't see any steps.
23:08Is there anybody here?
23:12Is there anybody here?
23:14Can you give me a sign?
23:16Well, there is a light switch,
23:18but the switch is off.
23:20>> And keeps walking deeper inside.
23:22She gets lost almost right away.
23:25The place twists back on itself with
23:27doors already hanging open that she
23:29doesn't want to touch. And somewhere in
23:31the dark, a woman can be heard
23:33screaming.
23:34It isn't faint, and it isn't far enough
23:36away to ignore.
23:38She calls out to Josh through the camera
23:40and asks if he heard it, too.
23:42He did.
23:43Watching from outside on a feed with its
23:45own delay, he heard the same scream she
23:47did.
23:49>> Of course, the door is wide open.
23:51>> [sighs]
23:52>> [ __ ]
23:54Yeah.
23:55Okay, Josh.
23:57Did you hear that?
23:59I swear to god, I heard a woman's voice.
24:03Is there somebody in here?
24:06Hello.
24:09How do you feel that Josh isn't
24:11patrolling here anymore?
24:14The door was open. Both doors were open.
24:17So, I don't want to open and close
24:20any doors.
24:22Who's here?
24:25I was really going to head through those
24:26doors.
24:29>> [sighs and gasps]
24:30>> Is anybody here?
24:34Is a little boy or girl here?
24:40Do you miss Josh not coming around?
24:43Okay.
24:46Okay, Josh, where do I Where do I go?
24:50Down the stairs and to the right? I
24:51don't know what the hell.
24:53That's where the woman was screaming at.
24:55Yeah, I heard this a woman screaming.
24:57Where do I go?
25:00Is anyone in here?
25:02Security.
25:15I just heard something behind me.
25:18Where do I go?
25:20Where do you want me to go, babe?
25:22This is messed up.
25:24Oh my god.
25:27Holy [sighs] [ __ ]
25:30Sorry, you guys, for my language, but if
25:32you knew how it felt.
25:34Who's in there?
25:37>> After that, she stops talking to the
25:39camera [music] and starts talking to the
25:41building. Is anyone here?
25:44Are you lost? What do you want?
25:46At the end of one long hallway, a figure
25:49can be seen standing perfectly still.
25:52Too far away to make out a face.
25:54Close enough that she doesn't wait
25:56around to see one.
25:57She notices light coming from a room
25:59that should be empty.
26:01She hears something move behind her in a
26:03hallway she already walked through.
26:05By the time she finds her way out, she's
26:08soaked in sweat and shaking so hard she
26:10can barely talk.
26:12>> Who are you?
26:14Are you lost?
26:16I heard something.
26:19Are you lost?
26:21What do you want?
26:24I just seen a light coming from
26:25somewhere.
26:30Kate.
26:32I'm lost. You're going to have to help
26:33guide me back cuz I don't know where the
26:34[ __ ] I am.
26:37Forgive my language, you guys. This is
26:40If you knew how this [ __ ] felt.
26:43Okay, I think I know where I am now.
26:46>> [snorts]
26:46>> Oh, [ __ ]
26:48Oh my god.
26:49Look like there's something standing
26:51there.
26:52What the hell's going on? What happened?
26:54>> know. The [ __ ] dog was barking and
26:55growling at something.
26:57It wasn't the [ __ ] sirens. And then I
26:59kept [ __ ] on the live I kept hearing
27:01[ __ ] Suzy who was coming up there I
27:02heard a woman
27:03>> Yes, me too.
27:04>> [ __ ] screaming things. And yes, I was
27:06telling in the lights that [ __ ]
27:07>> hear I didn't hear a yes, but I heard
27:09that woman screaming. The only reason I
27:11started getting huff and puff was you're
27:12like, "Get out of there. Get out of
27:13there now." I thought the cops were
27:15coming.
27:16>> No.
27:17>> [ __ ]
27:17>> The thing that finally broke her wasn't
27:19the figure. It was Josh's voice in her
27:22ear telling her to get out. Get out now.
27:25Which in the moment she thought meant
27:27the police were on their way.
27:29There were no police. It was just the
27:31two of [music] them.
27:32One inside and one watching from the
27:34car. Both hearing the same woman scream
27:37in a building where no woman should have
27:38been. Nobody knows who was screaming
27:41that night.
27:42Nobody knows what was standing at the
27:44end of that hallway. Or why a light was
27:46on in a room with the switch turned off.
27:49Josh worked that place alone night after
27:51night for years.
27:53After watching Terry fall apart in there
27:55in a single visit he finally understood
27:58why it never really left him. Case four,
28:01the kitchen.
28:02This next one is short and it's over
28:05almost before it starts. Which is
28:07exactly what makes it stick.
28:55>> The police were called out to a house
28:57during a night party. The kind of call
28:59that's usually nothing. A noise
29:01complaint that ends with everyone going
29:03home.
29:09What?
29:25What?
29:35In the footage, the officers can be seen
29:38moving through the house slowly. And
29:40even before anything happens, something
29:42about the place feels off.
29:45One of the officers seems to feel it,
29:46too. Moving carefully without really
29:49knowing why.
29:50Then he steps toward the kitchen. And in
29:52that same second, the entire rack over
29:55the counter comes down. Nobody is
29:57standing near it. No hand anywhere
30:00close. And the timing is what people
30:02can't get past. The exact moment he
30:05crossed into that room. Like something
30:07in there had been waiting for him to
30:08come close enough. Whatever pulled it
30:11loose never enters the frame. Case five.
30:15Room 209.
30:16September 14th, 2003.
30:19Started out as a completely normal day
30:22at the hotel until the front desk
30:24started getting complaints about
30:25screaming coming from room 209.
30:37>> What room is that?
30:38>> That's That's the room
30:40right back there.
30:41Uh it should be 209.
30:44>> John, do you copy?
30:47It's room 209. Amy says no one's checked
30:49into that room.
30:50And there's reports of screaming coming
30:52from that room.
30:54Amy, he's on his way down there right
30:56now.
31:04What's going on, John?
31:09>> The strange part was that room 209 was
31:11empty. Nobody had checked into it. So,
31:13the manager did what anyone running a
31:15hotel would do and sent a security guard
31:18named John up to the second floor to see
31:20what was going on. While a woman named
31:22Amy stayed on the radio to pass messages
31:25back and forth between them.
31:32>> There's no one checked into that room.
31:34There should be nobody in there.
31:37Uh
31:38wait 1 second, John. Amy, are you there?
31:41Yeah, John John says he hears the
31:43screaming coming from that room.
31:45And I hear it, too.
31:48But
31:49but we're pretty sure that no one's
31:50checked into that room.
31:51>> That's correct.
31:54>> Uh John, just wait.
31:56We're going to get a hold of the police.
31:58So.
31:59>> Amy tells John that nobody's registered
32:01in 209, that there shouldn't be a single
32:03person in there. John goes up anyway. A
32:06moment later, he gets back on the radio
32:08and says he can hear the screaming now,
32:10too, coming from inside the empty room.
32:13And Amy confirms she can hear it through
32:15his microphone.
32:17They're told to wait for the police.
32:19But John doesn't [music] wait.
32:21If someone's being hurt on the other
32:23side of that door, waiting could get
32:25them killed. So, he goes in.
32:28>> Just I would wait for the police, John.
32:34Amy, John's John's going to enter the
32:35room real quick just to check, make
32:37sure,
32:38see what's going on.
32:40We want
32:49John.
32:55John, are you there?
32:59Okay, Amy, and John wants you to call
33:01the police right now if you don't mind.
33:04Uh he said no one's in there, uh but
33:07that all of the furniture has been
33:08turned upside down, and the and the Hold
33:11on.
33:12He says the carpet has been ripped up,
33:14and the the shower is on,
33:17but nobody's in there.
33:20>> For a few seconds, there's nothing.
33:22Then his voice comes back on the radio,
33:24and it's changed. He tells Amy to call
33:27the police right now. He says there's no
33:29one inside, but the furniture has been
33:31flipped completely upside down.
33:33The carpet has been ripped up off the
33:35floor. The shower is running in an empty
33:38bathroom, and there's nobody in there
33:40who could have done any of it.
33:42As John steps into the wrecked room that
33:44was locked and empty, something
33:46described only as a white shape can be
33:48seen leaving it. Some people who've
33:50watched the footage swear it was a
33:52single figure. Others are just as sure
33:54there was more than one.
33:56>> Man, that's that's scary.
33:59I'm uh personally freaked out now.
34:16>> Over the years, the hotel got other
34:18reports of strange sounds tied to that
34:20same room from guests who never stayed
34:23in it, and staff who worked nearby. But
34:26this one recording, a security guard
34:28walking into a locked empty room that
34:30had been torn apart from the inside
34:32while it screamed is the only piece of
34:34it that was ever caught on tape.
34:36Amy's last words on the radio were that
34:38she was officially freaked out. John
34:41never explained what turned that room
34:43over, and nobody has since. Case six,
34:47the man who kept getting up.
34:49On March 16th, 2023, the police were
34:52called out to a house after a report
34:55that a young man was behaving in a way
34:57that didn't make any sense.
35:00>> Hey, stop right now.
35:02Stop. Stop.
35:04Relax.
35:05>> He just jumped off the
35:06>> John, try to just jump on the banister
35:07there.
35:08Relax.
35:09What's going on? Why are you jumping
35:10like that?
35:12Are you hurt?
35:15>> In the body cam footage, the officers
35:17walk in to find him standing by the
35:19railing on the staircase. Without any
35:21warning, he climbs up onto it and drops,
35:25jumping down onto the floor below. And
35:27then a little while later, he does it
35:29again. His family tells the officers
35:31he's already done it several times in
35:33the last half hour.
35:35Earlier, he jumped off the deck outside,
35:37a drop of 7 or 8 ft, got back up, and
35:41did it again.
35:42He hurt his shoulder badly enough that
35:44they took him to the emergency room,
35:46where he was checked over and sent home.
35:48And even that didn't stop him. The
35:50strangest part isn't the jumping, it's
35:53how still he goes in between.
35:55>> Do you want to talk outside?
36:00What's going on?
36:01Are you hurt? You not talking to me is
36:03not going to solve anything.
36:05We have to figure out what's going on.
36:06That's not normal. Do you want to talk
36:08to me, or are you just going to stand
36:09there? Back up. Hey, relax. Relax. I'm
36:12not trying to fight you or anything,
36:13okay?
36:14Cuz that obviously wasn't normal what I
36:16just saw.
36:17>> Yeah, he he jumped three times in the
36:19space of last half an hour.
36:21>> Okay. Are you Are you injured at all?
36:24>> He hurt his left shoulder pretty
36:27>> Okay.
36:28>> He can't really
36:29and
36:30>> to the emergency. They checked him out.
36:32He's fine.
36:33But
36:34that didn't stop him from jumping again.
36:36He also jumped outside from the
36:38>> Can you just
36:40>> few times.
36:41The lake is like 7 8 ft down.
36:44The land is 7 8 ft down.
36:46>> Okay.
36:47>> He jumped that and then he started
36:49jumping here.
36:50>> Okay. Over here.
36:52>> The officers try to talk to him and he
36:54won't answer. He stares right into their
36:56eyes and says nothing.
36:58He isn't threatening anyone and he isn't
37:00asking for anything. He just stands
37:02there watching them and every so often
37:05his hands slowly close into fists on
37:07their own.
37:08One of the officers keeps his voice calm
37:11and steady telling him that whatever
37:13this is, it isn't worth it. That nobody
37:16thinks he's a criminal. That they only
37:18want to make sure he's okay. The young
37:20man barely responds. When he finally
37:22does move, it's toward the officer slow
37:25and silent in a way that puts everyone
37:28in the room on edge without a single
37:29word being said.
37:31>> Hey, nobody's in trouble or anything.
37:33The fact that you keep moving and
37:34shuffling towards me like you're about
37:36to like swing on me or something is
37:37disturbing to me.
37:39I see what you're doing. You're trying
37:41to get into some type of position to try
37:42and fight me or whatever you're trying
37:43to do.
37:44And we're not going to go down this
37:45route, okay? Or you're going to try and
37:48run. You're not going anywhere right
37:50now, okay?
37:51>> Hey.
37:52HEY.
38:01>> STOP RESISTING.
38:02>> STOP RESISTING.
38:02>> ALL RIGHT, YOU'RE UNDER ARREST. YOU ARE
38:03under arrest, buddy.
38:06>> Get in a head position.
38:09>> HANDS HANDS NOW.
38:10>> I GOT THIS HAND.
38:14ALL RIGHT, STOP FIGHTING. Just relax,
38:16okay?
38:16>> His parents are watching all of this
38:18happen in their own home and they can't
38:20explain it. The officers can't explain
38:23it either. He isn't drunk. He isn't
38:25making demands.
38:26>> [music]
38:27>> And he's thrown himself off things hard
38:28enough to hurt himself and gone right
38:31back for more. All while looking at
38:33people like he's staring straight
38:34through them. When he finally lunges, it
38:37takes several officers to hold him down
38:40and he's taken into custody. The report
38:42lists [music] the charges, but it
38:44doesn't and it can't explain what
38:46everyone in that house actually watched
38:48that night. A man standing silent in his
38:50own home, staring, throwing himself off
38:53things that should have hurt him, and
38:55getting back up every single time. Case
38:58seven.
38:59Say my name.
39:00On September 1st, 2022, a man walked
39:04into a Walmart, picked up something he
39:06had no way to pay for, and then simply
39:08refused to leave. The staff called the
39:11police, but by the time the officers
39:13arrived, the stolen item was the least
39:15strange thing about him.
39:21>> What's up, man?
39:23How you doing?
39:24Hey, check this out. Look at me real
39:25quick.
39:26>> Yeah, look at you.
39:26>> Hey, anything that you willing to buy
39:28that they don't want you to buy, so I
39:29need you to come to the front with me.
39:30I'm going to explain it to you when I
39:31get to the front, all right? Just come
39:33with me right now.
39:34>> Please follow 10-346.
39:38>> I'm 10-4. I was trying to tell 677 we
39:40were in the electronic section, but I
39:41think the
39:42gentleman is going to walk with me to
39:43the front of the store.
39:45All right, she will pay for them. No,
39:46they don't they don't want you to they
39:47won't let you buy them.
39:48>> Why is that?
39:50They don't want you to buy them? Well,
39:51I'll just scan them. Like I'm supposed
39:53to scan them by rights.
39:54>> I got them. Put them down.
39:55>> All right.
39:56>> You can't buy them.
39:56>> You all right.
39:57>> They're not going to let you buy
39:58>> I'm taking it.
39:59>> Listen. This is where
40:00>> All right.
40:01>> if you don't listen to me, you go to
40:03jail.
40:03>> Uh-huh.
40:04>> So, put them down.
40:05>> I'm taking it.
40:05>> Listen.
40:07>> Hey, don't touch me. Don't touch me. You
40:09don't have any right to
40:10Hey.
40:15>> The strange part was that he wouldn't
40:17tell anyone his name. They take him down
40:19to the floor and cuff him quickly. And
40:21from there, the whole thing turns into
40:23one long standoff over a single
40:25question. What's your name? He won't
40:28answer it. Instead, he keeps saying the
40:30same thing back to them over and over,
40:33telling the officer to say his name as
40:35if the officer already knows it and is
40:37just refusing to say it out loud.
40:40>> Stop.
40:41>> [snorts]
40:42>> You can roll over.
40:45I'm not trying to choke you.
40:46But if you're going to act like that,
40:48I'm going to do whatever I need to do.
40:49Stop.
40:51>> Stupid. Call your name. We're going to
40:52roll him over.
40:53>> Say your name.
40:55Say your Say your name. You want to go
40:56this way?
40:57Say your name.
40:59Say your name.
41:01Just tase him. Say your name.
41:04Say your name.
41:05>> Stapling.
41:05>> Say my name.
41:06>> Hey, hey, if you don't give up, you're
41:07going to be tased. You're going to get
41:09tased.
41:10Bro, why don't you tell
41:12>> Say my name.
41:15Say my name.
41:17Say my name.
41:19Say my name.
41:23>> Why did he just go back?
41:25You got
41:25>> Say my name.
41:26>> Probably 1015.
41:27>> I don't know.
41:28>> Let me hold traffic still, though.
41:31Stop it.
41:33I'm not familiar with him.
41:34>> Say my name.
41:36>> You got a good number on those.
41:40>> They ask him again. They explain pretty
41:43patiently that the jail won't release
41:45him if they don't know who he is,
41:48that he'll end up sitting in a cell
41:49until he tells them something.
41:52He doesn't care.
41:53When they finally push hard enough, the
41:55name he gives them isn't really a name
41:57at all. Marty. Mighty. Mighty Moe.
42:01There's no last name that stays the same
42:03twice. No date of birth, no address,
42:06nothing they can check against anything
42:08real.
42:09At one point, he says something the
42:11officer clearly doesn't know what to do
42:13with. He tells them there are a lot more
42:16of us than there are of you.
42:18Not more of me.
42:20More of us. The officer lets it slide
42:23and gets back to the paperwork. But on
42:25the recording, that one line lands like
42:27a crack in an otherwise ordinary arrest.
42:30A man with no name and no ID calmly
42:33claiming to speak for something bigger
42:35than just himself. The part that never
42:37adds up is how little of it fits
42:39together.
42:40He had no money, no card, no way to buy
42:43the thing he wouldn't put down, and no
42:45way to prove he was anybody.
42:48He wasn't violent the way people usually
42:49get when they're caught. He was locked
42:52onto one idea that his name was
42:54something the officers were supposed to
42:56already know.
42:57And that saying it was their job, not
42:59his. They put him in the car still
43:01asking, and he rides off still refusing.
43:04He goes to jail under a name that means
43:06nothing.
43:07A man who showed up out of nowhere,
43:10wanted nothing he could actually pay
43:11for, and wouldn't let a single officer
43:13find out who he really was.
43:16As far as any record shows, they never
43:18did. Case eight, the stop.
43:22On August 9th, 2024,
43:24what should have been a simple speeding
43:26stop turned into something the officers
43:28couldn't quite make sense of.
43:30They pulled a woman over on a road she
43:32didn't seem to want to explain being on.
43:35And almost right away, the whole thing
43:37stopped acting like a normal traffic
43:39stop. She tells the officer she doesn't
43:42have time for this and tries to leave.
43:44When they move to arrest her, she fights
43:46it. And from there, the recording turns
43:48into a long string of things she says
43:51that never quite connect to each other.
43:53One minute she's furious and in real
43:55pain, the next she's calm and almost
43:58friendly, talking about a place she used
44:00to belong to, about being proposed to
44:03twice,
44:04about a night she got filmed somewhere.
44:06She says her name is Elizabeth, then in
44:08the same breath calls herself Monica,
44:10then something else, then says she
44:12doesn't even know what the initial
44:14stands for, that he's Russian, and asks
44:17if he's there today to a group of people
44:19who have no idea who she's talking
44:21about.
44:22She keeps swinging back and forth
44:24between wanting to go home, wanting to
44:26go to the hospital,
44:28and wanting her mom and dad called.
44:30She asks the officers more than once
44:33whether they even have jobs.
44:35She talks to the people standing right
44:37in front of her, and she talks to people
44:39who aren't there at all.
44:41None of it lines up, and the officers
44:43spend the whole stop a step behind her
44:45answering a version of the conversation
44:47that keeps changing on them.
44:49There's nothing in the footage anyone
44:51can point to and call proof of anything.
44:53No shadow, no voice on a recorder, no
44:56object sliding across a table on its
44:58own.
44:59What actually gets under people's skin
45:01is quieter than that.
45:03It's watching someone hold several
45:04conversations at the same time when only
45:07one of them is with the officers right
45:08in front of her, and slowly getting the
45:11feeling that the rest are with someone
45:12the camera can't see. She was charged
45:15with obstruction, resisting arrest, and
45:18disorderly conduct.
45:20On paper, the case is clean and simple.
45:22The footage is anything but.
45:24Whatever she spent that night answering
45:26to,
45:27most of it clearly wasn't in the room.
