Introduction
0:00usbekistan has quietly built one of the
0:02most dominating boxing systems in the
0:04world producing a new wave of elite
0:07fighters who blend the old Soviet
0:09fundamentals with explosive athleticism
0:11and unorthodox movements among the very
0:14best of them is Israel magof a fighter
0:17who unorthodox style through use of
0:19angles unpredictable combinations and an
0:22unusual rhythmic pressure that makes him
0:24one of the most interesting fighters in
0:26the sport to watch but mad Mo's style
0:28isn't just natural Talent it's a product
0:31of hard work and an intense highly
0:33specialized training system that shaped
0:35some of the best amateur and
0:37professional boxers in the world in this
0:39episode of how Champions train I'm going
0:41to break down the history and approach
0:43to us big boxing while looking at how
0:44mad mov has refined his unique skill set
0:46to the pros by the training methods that
0:49have made some of his moves so signature
0:51so on that note let's get right into it
Uzbek Boxing's founder, school & style
1:01first up it's important to discuss how
1:03this Central Asian country has
1:04established itself as one of the rising
1:06powers in boxing in recent times and
1:08what makes it unique to the other former
1:11Soviet block schools believe it or not
1:13the main part of their boxing Heritage
1:15comes from an American Sydney Jackson
1:17who originally found himself stuck there
1:19due to war back in 1914 Jackson was a
1:22young boxer on the US national team at
1:25the time he was traveling Europe on a
1:26boxing tour due to injury he couldn't
1:29participate and he decided with a friend
1:31to visit Russia but what started out as
1:33a simple trip quickly turned into
1:36something far more significant that
1:37would change his life forever while
1:39checking into the hotel they opened the
1:41newspaper to shocking news World War I
1:44had just begun with borders closing and
1:47travel restricted they were stranded
1:49looking for safety they were advised to
1:51head to Tashkent the capital of
1:53usbekistan as a way to get back to the
1:55US his friend eventually received money
1:58to return home but Jackson wasn't as
2:00fortunate with no way back he had to
2:03find work eventually taking job as a
2:05tailor but as a competitive boxer and a
2:07fighter he wasn't exactly built for
2:09stitching buttons he needed something
2:11more eventually he ended up joining the
2:13Russian Civil War at one point but it
2:15was after this though Jackson found an
2:17opportunity that he truly loved boxing
2:20in particular coaching he became a
2:22sports instructor in tkent eventually
2:25setting up the first ever Boxing Club in
2:27the region resources were scarce so he
2:29built everything himself sewing gloves
2:32from leather and horse hair turning old
2:34canvas bags into punching bags and even
2:36constructing a makeshift ring from ship
2:39rope but Jackson wasn't just teaching
2:41boxing he was building a mindset
2:44discipline toughness and a love for
2:47competition not to mention his knowledge
2:49of the sport itself that was absent
2:51before the Soviet Union started to push
2:53the sport some of his most famous pupils
2:55include the Soviet Union's best ever mwe
2:58Valerie popenko who would go on to win
3:00gold at the 1964 Olympics while Jackson
3:04also coached very successful useg boxer
3:06and ruat risev who missed out on goal to
3:09Leon Spinx in the 1976 Montreal Olympics
3:12but each fighter that found success were
3:14known as Jack Knights who would carry
3:17his teachings forward to the next
3:18generation and it was this that set the
3:20foundation that would become the useg
3:22boxing school that is still recognized
3:25to this day fast forward to Modern Times
3:27And USC boxing is stronger than ever at
3:29the 26 Olympics they took the World by
3:32surprise winning a record-breaking seven
3:34medals at the time that's more than the
3:36amateur Powerhouse nations of Cuba and
3:38Russia but maybe it was the Paris
3:39Olympics where they won five gold medals
3:41out the seven men's categories which is
3:44truly extraordinary in terms of the
3:46style of school thought there's no
3:47denying that USCS have a very unique
3:49boxing style compared to other Central
3:51Asian countries USC boxing emphasizes
3:54sharp efficient strikes over volume
3:56combined with discipline defense and
3:57Elite conditioning to outlast opponents
4:00which has no doubt been a huge influence
4:01by the old Soviet school of thought
4:04however their unique flare comes also
4:05with a blend of balanced ability
4:08explosiveness and agile footwork that
4:10allows them to seamlessly transition
4:12between attack and defense through the
4:14use of creating angles but at the same
4:16time being disciplined with their guard
4:17and defense not only to protect
4:19themselves but to draw out
4:21counterattacks making them tough
4:23fighters to work out but the two things
4:24that really stand out for me is their
4:26adaptability and their toughness and
4:28there's no doubt deep in influences and
4:30traditions that Jackson embedded in that
4:32USBC boxing system that still felt to
4:34this day but of course maybe one of the
4:36most perfect fighters to put all this
4:38together is Israel mov and it school
4:41instilling that dedication to training
4:43athleticism and boxing ring IQ makes him
4:46the perfect example to
Madrimov Training Routine
4:51cover now researching mag's exact
4:54training routine has been a bit of a
4:55challenge there wasn't that much
4:57detailed breakdown available online and
4:59most of I found came from scattered bits
5:01of information across English USBC and
5:03Russian sources however since he trains
5:05under Joel Diaz the same coach who
5:07worked with Demitri Beville for his
5:09fight against Canelo and even worked
5:10with former champ Tim Bradley I put
5:12together examples of what a typical day
5:14might look like based on the Diaz
5:16brothers training methods and what we
5:17know about mof style one important thing
5:19to not is that the training is always
5:21evolving in the lead up to a fight the
5:23intensity the duration and the type of
5:25training will change depending on the
5:26stage of the camp obviously with harder
5:28days focused on conditioning or just
5:30sparring for example while lighter days
5:32dedicated to technical refinement
5:34recovery and strength and conditioning
5:36harder days from Monday Wednesday Friday
5:38might include high intensity circuits
5:40Hill runs and harder strength
5:43conditioning drills while sparring will
5:44also be involved in these days
5:46increasing the rounds as they get closer
5:48to the fight so maju can reach his Peak
5:50while this will also include
5:52high-intensity bag work and Pad work as
5:54well lighter days will include things
5:56like foot work Shadow Boxing while also
5:59focusing on and things like recovery
6:00from what I've seen he might do up to
6:01two training sessions a day in the
6:03morning he'll do his boxing session
6:05whether that be sparring more technical
6:07drills stuff like that then after some
6:09lunch and rest he might have a strength
6:11conditioning session not to mention maim
6:14Mo will also go out and runs in the
6:15morning as well but as I said this is
6:17just an interpretation of the
6:18information I found especially as Joe
6:20Diaz will change the intensity
6:22throughout the camp or give days off the
6:24fighters so they can fully recover and
6:25come back stronger but one thing is for
6:27sure the guy is always training
Cardio
6:33let's start off with his cardio and just
6:35like all fighters he does his road work
6:37and he'll tend to typically run anywhere
6:39from 3 to 6 km for long endurance runs
6:42while not often mentioned he sometimes
6:44challenges himself by wearing a 10kg
6:46weighted vest adding an extra layer of
6:48physical difficulty so not only can help
6:50improve his strength and endurance while
6:53also helping bur more calories and his
6:54balance while he's running doing other
6:56high Champions train videos the only
6:58other fighter I've noticed doing these
6:59weight runs is Gennady Golovkin one of
7:01his idols who would use lighter
7:03dumbbells while training up in Big Bear
7:05it's possible that mov utilizes these
7:07methods outside a camp so he can
7:08maintain his conditioning and stay one
7:10step ahead while Israel also does
7:13elevated runs both in his home country
7:15of usbekistan and his boxing gym base in
7:18California and India India is known for
7:20elevated trails and the extreme heat
7:22adding another greater physical and
7:24mental challenge to his training but
7:26nothing he's not used to due to the
7:28climate in usbekistan doing these
7:29elevated runs also have several benefits
7:31including increasing the leg strength
7:33and power helping to burn more calories
7:35again overall just providing greater
7:37resistance when he's out in his runs I
7:39doubt he does this throughout his whole
7:40camp but at the same time I wouldn't be
7:42surprised if he did next up with the
7:44jump rope as you can imagine this is the
7:46stable of Maj Mo's training usually
7:47performed as a warm-up before his boxing
7:49sessions or as a warm down and obviously
7:52this helps things like footwork
7:53coordination cardio endurance his rhythm
7:55and timing as you would expect he's very
7:57good at doing so
Boxing training
8:03now let's get onto his boxing training
8:05mov typically starts his boxing workouts
8:07with Shadow Boxing focusing on his punch
8:09combinations and technique fitwork and
8:11head movement and defensive drills and
8:13angling out sometimes you even see him
8:15slow down the punches to perfect the
8:16technique demonstrating his attention to
8:18detail while occasionally he also
8:20integrates a slip bag into a Shadow
8:22Boxing routine working on defensive
8:24movements like ducking and dodging and
8:25pivoting out just as we've seen him do
8:27in the ring also seem to use the Trad
8:29add slip line with his Shadow Boxing to
8:31work on sinking with his whole body
8:33while helping him also work on ducking
8:35dodging weaving maybe though the most
8:36unique thing I've seen him work on is
8:38Shadow Boxing on a big tractor tire
8:40obviously it has quite a bounce so it
8:42requires MJ mov to keep his stance while
8:45he changes his foot position not to
8:47mention his balance but watching shadow
8:50box overall it's clear that he has some
8:52erratic Rhythm which makes him very
8:53unpredictable by the time he gets in the
8:55ring and it's clear he fine-tunes these
8:57techniques in his Shadow Boxing before
8:59spar ing or fight night next up we have
9:01the heavy bag much like a Shadow Boxing
9:03MJ Mo maintains that constant Rhythm
9:06mixing his combinations bents and his
9:09footwork but what I like is that he's
9:10treating the heavy bag as if it's an
9:12actual opponent staying in motion at all
9:15times something that seems to be a
9:17recurring theme amongst some of the best
9:19Champions we've seen in terms of more
9:20reaction bags mov also incorporates
9:23different tools to improve his reflexes
9:25and coordination one being the speed bag
9:27primarily for his shoulder endurance but
9:29he also benches on his feet while using
9:31it very similar to the way Manny
9:33Pacquiao would do it working on both his
9:35upper and lower body well we've also see
9:37him use the double end bag where he not
9:39only works on his timing with his
9:40punches landing on the back he also uses
9:43head movement and defensive reflexes
9:45keeping his head off the center line
9:46while punching while sometimes you use
9:48continuous footwork and angles while
9:50using it there's also clips of using a
9:52swinging Aqua bag similar to the slip
9:54bag I showed before and much like you
9:56saw with Shadow Boxing you'll be using
9:58the same movements but actually hitting
10:00the back after ducking and weaving as he
10:02moves in terms of M workor there's also
10:04interesting footage as we've seen mov
10:06training the pads with both the Diaz
10:08brothers and his former amateur USC
10:10coach each coach brings something
10:12different though Joel Diaz for example
10:14emphasizes on power generation at times
10:16clearly trying to help maim mov adjust
10:17to the pro Style by trying to get him
10:19plant his feet more while the USC coach
10:22focuses more on precision and movement
10:24drilling one or two shots before trying
10:26to get him to Pivot out in an angle more
10:28in line with with the natural amateur
10:30instincts I guess both approaches
10:32complement his style though giving him
10:34the best technical finesse and pro level
10:36power there is more work with d as we've
10:38seen he uses things like body Shields to
10:40help mag Mo work in his body punching
10:42obviously noodle sticks for precision
10:44head movement and defensive drills just
10:47traditional Focus Ms Joel and his
10:48brother will use these typical smaller
10:50Focus M pads to obviously work on quick
10:52combinations and defense well maybe the
10:55most unique method is how Diaz uses the
10:57broomstick with the glove helping him to
10:59work on slipping punches as he comes
11:01into range and just general defense next
11:04up we have sparring like all Elite
11:06Fighters sparring is where majol puts
11:08everything into practice in Diaz's Camp
11:11sparring runs gradually increases the
11:13fight night approaches as I discussed
11:15and this helps prevent overtraining
11:17while ensuring he Peaks at the right
11:18time magal benefits also from high level
11:21sparring partners this includes the USC
11:24fighters from the lighter and even
11:25heavier divisions that train out Diaz's
11:28gym while there's also Mexican style
11:30pressure Fighters due to the location in
11:32California and he famously worked with
11:35Dimitri Beville as he prepared for
11:37Canelo at Diaz's gym not to mention he's
11:39also trained with two-time Olympic gold
11:41medalist bakod deer jalolov for some
11:43light sparring this diverse sparring
11:46experience prepares him for any style
11:48whether he's facing quick slick boxers
11:50or a physical imposing pressure fighter
11:53Diaz's gym ensures mov is ready for
11:56anything come Fight Night
Strength and conditioning
12:01now maybe for the most interesting part
12:03of mof's training his strength and
12:06conditioning like many of the USBC
12:07Fighters we've seen they incorporate
12:09some unconventional strength and
12:11conditioning methods compared to other
12:12Champions I've covered so far however he
12:14also integrates plenty of traditional
12:16and modern exercises into his routine
12:19one thing that stands out about Israel
12:21is his sheer athleticism he's capable of
12:24almost anything his strength and
12:26conditioning work directly enhances his
12:28boxing style in my opinion improving
12:31that explosive power and overall
12:33strength Speed and Agility when he's in
12:35there in fact I don't think I've seen a
12:37fighter incorporate such a wide variety
12:39of strength and conditioning exercises
12:41let's take a closer look at some of the
12:42unique training methods as well as a few
12:44you might be able to implement yourself
12:46first up let's look at footwork
12:48exercises some of you may have seen the
12:50viral clips of mov and other USC boxers
12:53performing cross step exercises using
12:55that grid ladder system so what's the
12:57purpose of these drills these exercises
13:00primarily improve athletic ability by
13:02developing foot speed explosiveness and
13:05coordination they aren't necessarily
13:07meant to refine boxing footwork but
13:09serve as a conditioning drill that
13:11enhances a Fighter's movement when they
13:12step into the ring the fact they make
13:14these drills look so effortless speaks
13:16volumes about the years of drilling
13:18andol we've also seen other Eastern
13:20European Fighters like Alexander usk AR
13:22BV and vasil lomachenko use similar
13:25drills though perhaps not the same
13:27intensity as the USCS another more
13:29modern exercise magov incorporates is
13:32reaction like training as his coach uses
13:34this method to not only improve reaction
13:36time while adding a plyometric element
13:38by having him bounce on one foot as he
13:41reacts to the light speaking about
13:42Plyometrics maimo also does a lot of
13:45these types of exercises to develop
13:47explosive strength and power these
13:49exercises Target the fast twitch muscle
13:51fibers through short intense burst of
13:53movement often involving jump based or
13:56body weight exercises for the lower body
13:58he corporate spring-- like jumping
14:00exercises sometimes adding resistance to
14:02increased intensity or jumping over
14:04things his coach also integrates
14:06medicine ball throws with footwork
14:08drills combining the ballistic movements
14:11with coordination to simulate the
14:13punching motion he would actually throw
14:14in a fight and it's actually quite
14:16unbelievable how many of these different
14:17exercises he does but a lot of it stems
14:20from his footwork and as you all know a
14:22lot of the punching power stems from the
14:24way you're able to generate the power
14:26starting from your feet all the way for
14:28your core to the end of the punch also
14:30helping that fast power come from
14:32nowhere maimu also frequently engages in
14:35high-intensity circuit training which is
14:37excellent for developing arobic Fitness
14:39his strengthened endurance and the
14:41ability to maintain a high intensity
14:43under fatigue this type of strength and
14:45conditioning really helps prepare him
14:47for that high work rate required when in
14:49the ring common exercises in this
14:51circuit include things like the ski
14:52machine building endurance enforcing the
14:54full body engagement at that high
14:57intensity while things like the assault
14:59bike or treadmill also improve the
15:01conditioning furthermore we've also seen
15:02them use burpees before doing pyometra
15:04jumps developing that explosiveness at
15:07the high intensity work rate that is
15:09obviously required at this level this
15:11maybe leads me on to one of the most
15:12impressive displays of athleticism and
15:15that's his explosive pull-ups and
15:17push-ups he doesn't just perform
15:19standard reps he adds an explosive
15:22element the one that kind of blows my
15:24mind is performing pull-ups with a slap
15:26at the top just shows you the upper body
15:28strength this guy truly has and from his
15:30Knockouts it's clear this can transfer
15:32well over into the ring not just the
15:34upper body he also does traditional leg
15:36exercises as well but with some slight
15:38adjustments that you would be used to
15:39seeing in any gym these include elevated
15:42heal squats helping to increase his
15:44range of motion and depth while he also
15:47does Anderson squats starts from a lower
15:49position for the squat range allowing
15:51him to do heavier lifting to get greater
15:53strength gains and reduce the risk of
15:56injury he's also done things like
15:57reverse lunges with dumbbells helping
15:59with that glute activation while
16:01bringing his leg back up for balance and
16:03overall stability another area of his
16:05body that he trains like many great FES
16:07before him is his neck muscles and using
16:09the weighted neck harness this helps
16:11prepare him for absorbing punches in the
16:13ring Champions like Floyd Mayweather and
16:15aie Ward have also prioritized neck
16:17training despite being defensive boxers
16:19trying to improve their punch resistance
16:21if it happens well another traditional
16:23Training Method he uses is the old
16:24school wood cutting method but using a
16:26sledgehammer on a tire and this is a
16:28high impact workout that strengthens the
16:30core shoulders arms and legs and that
16:33chopping motion mimics the kinetic chain
16:35used when throwing powerful punches it's
16:37no wonder we've seen so many of the old
16:39Champions use this as well in their
16:40training as you can see from all this
16:42Maad Mo incorporates an extensive
16:44variety of strength and conditioning
16:45exercises all which contribute to his
16:48footwork punching power endurance and
16:51overall strength inside the ring his
16:53training not only keeps him in Peak
16:54physical condition but it also keeps his
16:57workouts engaging in a dynamic
16:58throughout camp that being said while
17:00mov does a lot of strength training his
17:02boxing training remains his top priority
17:04though if you're interested in see more
17:06of this training I highly recommend
17:08checking out his own Instagram as he
17:10frequently posts all different types of
17:11workouts additionally I recommend
17:14checking out strength and conditioning
17:15coach Benjamin Hernandez who does a
17:17fantastic job guiding him through some
17:19of these routines if you want to learn
17:20more about the science behind the
17:22strength training for boxing be sure to
17:24check out boxing science we've done some
17:25great breakdowns on mad's training
Recovery and diet
17:32next up we have maim Mo's recovery and
17:34diet now a big part of this is
17:36stretching majima does this both before
17:39and after training the amount of work
17:41this guy puts in so many areas of his
17:43training this is absolutely key to make
17:45sure he doesn't get injured not to
17:46mention he makes sure to have absolute
17:48rest after training making sure he's
17:50completely recovered before his next
17:52session in terms of his diet I didn't
17:54find too much in this area in my
17:56research other than when he's cutting
17:58weight he manages his intake very
18:00closely but from his whole approach to
18:02training you have to think he takes this
18:03part seriously I did see that his
18:05favorite food is USC PL the signature
18:08dish of usbekistan which looking online
18:10almost looks like rice with lamb or
18:12chicken and vegetables in it I actually
18:14think this would be a great post-workout
18:15meal for any of you USC's watching let
18:17me know if this is a good nutritious
18:19meal or if there's anything else that
18:21USBC
Why Madrimov is so athletic
18:25have now as you can probably tell magov
18:27is an unbelievably athletic man and this
18:30was very obvious from a young age as he
18:32took part in multiple Sports not just
18:34boxing he said yes I've tried many
18:37sports I competed in Regional
18:39tournaments in football basketball
18:41volleyball table tennis wrestling
18:43acrobatics and gymnastics I also
18:46practiced karate seriously but my
18:48passion for boxing was always the
18:50strongest I had to respect Cristiano
18:52Ronaldo because I know how much work he
18:54put in to reach his level hard work has
18:56always rewarded in sports as much as
18:59Israel's main focus is boxing now he
19:01still to this day shows off doing things
19:04like back flips after his fights and
19:06even in training while he also still
19:08participates in things like Judo and
19:10Jiu-Jitsu obviously this may actually
19:12help to an extent when he's in the
19:13clinch or fighting on the inside but one
19:16thing is for sure even just the fact he
19:17played all those Sports growing up it
19:19just shows you how adaptable and
19:21coordinated he actually is especially
19:23when you consider you can fight as an
19:25orthodox or a southpaw
Training camp and Joel Diaz's (trainer) thoughts
19:31now I think one of the most important
19:32parts of Israel is where he splits his
19:34time between usbekistan and India
19:36California the Diaz brothers gym has
19:39everything you could ask for as a
19:40professional the location also provides
19:43training conditions very similar to
19:45those in usbekistan making the
19:46transition seamless not to mention he
19:49trains alongside other USBC Fighters
19:51including MJ amadel and many more
19:54fostering a strong sense of community
19:56this environment helps them settle in
19:58Ming connection to their home country
20:01their Collective work ethic developed
20:03from their time on the USC national team
20:05carries into their Pro Journey now
20:07creating a winning atmosphere as they
20:09all push each other to work harder to
20:12succeed Jia has acknowledged this
20:14stating these Fighters are different
20:16breed humble appreciative kids and we
20:20have the chemistry because I believe we
20:22as Mexican Americans are hungry humble
20:25people too they put in the sacrifice to
20:27leave their countries and their families
20:29to become world champions they never
20:32complain and this has become their home
20:34he's very disciplined he's very
20:36disciplined they leave their country
20:37they're here to train they just
20:41train and rest train and rest that's the
20:44difference
20:45between the American fighters and the
20:48usbekistan fighters these guys are here
20:50to train I mean they're not here to to
20:52go to Disneyland they're not here to go
20:54to SeaWorld they're not here to to you
20:57know have parties or whatever you know
20:59they're here to train their job is just
21:02strictly boxing that's the difference
21:04and that is the big advantage that we
21:06have isra mov is like like this every
21:09fighter in their country has proven
21:12himself okay Israel is not an American
21:15fighter I mean his career didn't didn't
21:18uh didn't evolutionize in the in America
21:22he was he's great in usbekistan and his
21:25country so his people know he's great
21:27because he's proven to them that he is
21:29here for a reason and people are going
21:32to know there's a lot of Fighters that
21:33come from other countries that nobody
21:35knows for example I can go back and and
21:37say where's Manny Pacquiao when Manny
21:39Pacquiao was brought in as a replacement
21:41for a fight nobody knew who Manny
21:44Pacquiao was but they gave him the
21:45opportunity and all of a sudden Manny
21:47Pacquiao became a superstar and that's
21:49where everything starts these Fighters
21:52that nobody knows they need that one
21:55opportunity to be known that's how
21:56everything starts now that's what we're
21:58looking forward to overall you have to
22:00applaud the Diaz brothers and they
22:01deserve a lot of respect for taking in
22:03these Fighters and molding them into top
22:05tier professionals despite the language
22:08barrier at times they've managed to
22:09train and prepare them for elite
22:11competition in many ways Joel Diaz
22:13serves as a modern day Sydney Jackson
22:16guiding the next generation of USBC
22:18boxing Stars much like Jackson did when
22:21he found himself out in
Madrimov's mentality, belief and religion.
22:24[Music]
22:25tashkin finally I also want to talk
22:27about Israel's mentality he someone who
22:29grew up in extreme poverty in usbekistan
22:32saying when I was little we had no gas
22:34electricity or running water the oldest
22:36child I walked 6 miles to school and 6
22:39miles back every day in the winter time
22:42I remember it pretty clearly because I
22:43was crying from the cold that was when I
22:45decided to do something with my life for
22:47my family I was going to do whatever it
22:49takes to move everyone to the city I
22:51didn't know what the way out was but I
22:53was going to push towards whatever I did
22:55with my life to find the way out that
22:58way out of course was boxing and he drew
23:01Inspirations from Fighters like Roy
23:02Jones Jr Manny Pacquiao Emanuel Augustus
23:05but his biggest Idol was kazakhstan's
23:07Gennady Golovkin someone from a
23:09neighboring country who had reached the
23:11Pinnacle of the sport with a background
23:13similar to his own when people back home
23:16grow up they look up to someone like
23:18Golovkin and aspire to be like him in 20
23:2130 years I want to inspire people too
23:23and show them that through hard work and
23:25perseverance you can do anything my goal
23:27is to be remember remembered as a great
23:29champion who fought the best and never
23:31shied away from a challenge but more
23:33than anything Israel understood the
23:35importance of hard work becoming a
23:37champion is first of all hard work the
23:39more hardworking a person is the closer
23:42he is to becoming Champion Talent can
23:44only have a temporary effect if you do
23:46not develop it and do not work at 100%
23:49you will not go far on abilities alone
23:51what impressed you the most about Israel
23:54what impresses me the most about Israel
23:56that he always has a goal in mind
23:59and when he tells you that thing it
24:01always comes true because he's in full
24:02control when he's in that ring he's in
24:05great control strong fighter very
24:07disciplined fighter and that makes a big
24:09difference because Israel when when he's
24:11in the ring he's very complicated uh you
24:14can watch a video of Israel and just
24:16because you're watching it you can you
24:18can give yourself an opinion but it's
24:21totally different when you're in the
24:22room with him when you're in the room
24:23with Israel is very very very
24:25complicated not to mention he also sees
24:27boxing as it's a very mental sport in
24:30the following first of all mental
24:31abilities boxing is even compared to
24:33chess they say it's not just a sport but
24:35an art it's important to think and be
24:38able to make decisions quickly if you do
24:40not use your brain in the ring it will
24:42be very easy to defeat you that's why
24:44boxing attracts smart athletes and of
24:47course everyone who has set a goal to
24:49become Champion must have discipline you
24:51need to sleep on time eat on time train
24:54on time without this is impossible to
24:57achieve High results
25:02another major aspect for Israel's
25:04success is his deep faith is LAM is a
25:06core part of his life giving him Focus
25:08discipline and purpose he certainly
25:10adheres strictly to his religious
25:11beliefs which not only keeps him
25:13grounded but also prevents him from
25:15falling into vices that could distract
25:17him from his goals his faith plays a
25:19crucial role in his ability to maintain
25:21strong work ethic and remain fully
25:23committed to his training career and I
25:25really do believe that's the case for
25:26any fighter you need to find something
25:28to believe in something to do it for a
25:30greater purpose if you want to have
25:32success Israel majima's journey is a
25:35testament to the power of discipline
25:37sacrifice and unshakable belief in hard
25:40work from his humble beginnings in
25:41usbekistan to his rigorous training
25:44camps in Indio California he has built
25:46himself into a Relentless force in
25:48boxing his training under Joel Diaz who
25:50has become a modern-day Sydney jackon
25:52per se for leading this new wave of USC
25:54talent in America has refined his skills
25:57while keeping him surround Ed by
25:58like-minded Warriors but beyond the
26:01physical preparation what truly sets mov
26:03apart is his mentality his faith and
26:06dedication to his craft leaving no room
26:09for distractions or vices no denying
26:11he's followed his idols Footsteps in the
26:13legs of Gennady golovan who embodied
26:15this same commitment he carves out his
26:17own path with an unbreakable will in his
26:19own words becoming a champion is first
26:21of all hard work Talent alone won't
26:24carry a fighter to the top discipline
26:27intelligence and willingness to push
26:29past the limits are what separate the
26:31contenders from the Champions the maim
26:34mov continues on this path there's no
26:36doubt he'll leave a lasting Legacy for
26:37the Next Generation just as his Heroes
26:40did for him hope you enjoyed this
26:42episode of how Champions train i' love
