0:00Yo, stop listening to podcast. Stop
0:03watching YouTube videos. You are wasting
0:05your life. They are making you dumber.
0:08Because see, people say all the time,
0:10they say knowledge is power, but that's
0:12a lie. Knowledge is potential power, and
0:15too much knowledge [music] is not power
0:17at all. It's weakness.
0:20See, I know something about you.
0:23You're somebody who knows what to do,
0:25but you don't do
0:27what you know. Because you see, there's
0:29a block inside of you. And I know
0:31because I had this block. I read so many
0:33books. I listened to so many podcasts,
0:35but my life looked the same. And that's
0:38because see, if information, if
0:40podcasts, if YouTube videos alone change
0:43lives, everybody would be a billionaire,
0:45in a relationship with their soulmate,
0:48and have six-pack abs. But instead,
0:50[music]
0:51people are living check-to-check,
0:52miserable, in a relationship not with
0:55their soulmate, but a cellmate, and they
0:57have excess belly fat. Because
1:00information is not enough. Right,
1:02Denzel?
1:03>> What is the long-term effect of too much
1:05information? One of the effects is the
1:07need to be first, not even to be true
1:08anymore.
1:09>> The sad truth is this, [music] the
1:11entire media space today is designed to
1:15keep you on this hamster wheel. Because
1:17you see, that's how all the gurus, they
1:19they make their money by keeping you as
1:21a as a passive follower. See, it's kind
1:24of like the gym, right? [music] If
1:26everybody who signed up for the gym
1:29actually went, the gym would be so
1:32packed [music] that they would go out of
1:34business for overcrowding. They
1:35literally bet on you not showing up. And
1:38it's the same for medicine. You think
1:40they really want to cure you? No, they
1:43don't want to they don't want to heal
1:44you. A patient healed is a customer
1:48lost. The trillion-dollar medical
1:51industry would collapse tomorrow. So,
1:53they want [music] to keep you just sick
1:55enough so that you can continue to buy
1:58medicine. And so with podcast, with
2:00YouTube, it's the same thing. If
2:02everybody did what the gurus talked
2:04about, there would be no point to keep
2:06listening. They would be out of business
2:09[music] overnight. So they string you
2:11along. And see the problem with
2:13listening to podcast, watching YouTube
2:15videos is 99% of them inject you with
2:19this artificial dopamine, [music]
2:21tricking your brain into thinking you're
2:23actually completing something. And the
2:25pleasure centers in your brain get
2:27activated, your synapses make these
2:30false connections, connecting [music]
2:32information with action. And that's why
2:35you never see the results you really
2:37want.
2:38See, it it gives you a feeling of of
2:41being in the know.
2:43But you don't need to be in the know.
2:45You need to be in the do. See, I believe
2:48you were born not to be a consumer, but
2:50a creator. And see, that's what I teach
2:52in Creator University. I've got a link
2:54in the description below, but I'll share
2:56more about that later. But see, 99% of
2:58people, they can't they can't get there
3:01because they live by the wrong calendar.
3:04What do you mean, Prince, the wrong
3:05calendar? Yeah, for most people, their
3:08calendar doesn't have 7 days in a week.
3:10They have one day.
3:12One day that they live over and over
3:15again, like Bill Murray in Groundhog
3:17Day.
3:23And this day is not Monday, Tuesday,
3:25Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday,
3:26Sunday. No, it's a day called Someday.
3:30And Someday is their favorite day of the
3:33week because this day even has an island
3:35named [music] after it. It's called
3:37Someday Isle.
3:40And so they sit on this island
3:42>> [music]
3:42>> saying, "Someday I'll get in shape.
3:45Someday I'll start that business." See,
3:48this is a comfortable island, but it's
3:49the place where dreams go to die. And
3:52currency on Someday Isle is a coin that
3:55nobody has, but everybody wants. It's
3:57called a round to it.
4:00So, everybody walks around [music]
4:02saying,
4:04"Someday I'll
4:07get around to it." Well, in the next 20
4:10minutes, I'm going to send you a life
4:11raft to get off of that dreaded island.
4:14I'm going to give you
4:16this round to it
4:18because I know you're a dreamer,
4:21but you're stuck.
4:22Well, I want you to stop scrolling. You
4:24are in the right place, and I'm going to
4:26show you how you can finally fix your
4:28life in 20 minutes. So, I ask you, would
4:31you rather listen to another long-winded
4:34podcast [music]
4:35or create a plan that can change your
4:37life in 20 minutes? You don't need
4:39another podcast, another video. You need
4:42some [music] tough love and a plan
4:44because I don't want you to become the
4:46next Arthur Barry. See, Arthur Barry
4:50was a very charming man. A man who loved
4:52the finest things in life. And during
4:54the 1920s, the Roaring Twenties, he was
4:57a master thief. He stole from the
5:00wealthiest people, only the wealthiest
5:02people. Until one day, Barry was shot by
5:05the police, caught, [music]
5:06and he spent the next 18 years in
5:09prison. Well, after serving his
5:10sentence, he moved to a small town in
5:12New England
5:13>> [music]
5:13>> where he just led a a quiet life. Well,
5:16after some years, the word got out of
5:19who he was and his true [music] identity
5:21was revealed, and a group of reporters
5:23came to interview the notorious thief.
5:26One reporter asked him,
5:27>> "Mr. Barry, [music] since his kind of
5:29rations, who was it that you stole the
5:31most from?"
5:32>> And Barry replied with a a tear
5:35streaming down his [music] face. He
5:36said, "The person I stole the most from
5:40was Arthur Barry."
5:42He said, "I could have been a teacher. I
5:43could have been a businessman. I I have
5:45done anything worthwhile with my life,
5:47but instead I spent two-thirds
5:51of my life in prison.
5:53I spent a lifetime robbing
5:57myself. You [snorts] see, we all have a
5:59little bit of Arthur [music] Berry
6:00inside of us.
6:02A thief named fear
6:04stealing our future.
6:06>> [music]
6:07>> Running a heist on our life. His partner
6:09procrastination robbing
6:12our dreams.
6:14But truly, the only thing we should be
6:16robbing [music]
6:18is the graveyard. Because see, the
6:19graveyard has so many riches, so many
6:22ideas, so many inventions never created.
6:25So, I want you to rob the graveyard.
6:27Don't give it anything.
6:29Make sure your tombstone
6:32says your name
6:34and next to it
6:35all used up. And so, in the next 20
6:38minutes I'm going to give you the tools,
6:40but you got to promise me one thing. You
6:42got to promise me that you're going to
6:43do it. Because ideas without labor
6:47are stillborn. So, pause this video now
6:49and comment I promise right now. If
6:53you're serious, you and me, [music]
6:54let's decide. I love that word decide.
6:57The word decide or decision comes from
7:00the word incision, meaning to cut away.
7:02To decide, to truly decide means to cut
7:05away any other possibility. Because you
7:08see, I realized something. Success is
7:09not about discipline, not about hustle,
7:12struggle, it's about defeating three
7:15enemies, only three. And see, like a
7:17video game, there's three [music] bosses
7:20on each level. And if you beat these
7:22three bosses, you will win the game of
7:23life. Now, the third enemy is the most
7:26important, so don't turn this video
7:28[music] off until you learn how to
7:29defeat
7:30this enemy. The first enemy
7:33is focus.
7:35You could have a stack of newspapers
7:37this tall,
7:38a powerful magnifying glass. It could be
7:41the hottest day of the year. You will
7:43never set fire
7:45to those papers
7:47if you keep the magnifying glass moving.
7:50It's only when you focus
7:52that you harness the energy [music] from
7:54the sun and make fire. And see in life,
7:57it's only when you focus on one point
8:00that you harness the energy from the
8:02universe and activate [music] your
8:04burning desire and set fire to your
8:06life.
8:09You must focus. There's a man named
8:12Byron Ferguson, and Byron Ferguson is a
8:15legendary archer, some say the best in
8:17the world. [music]
8:18He's so legendary
8:20that he could shoot an arrow
8:23through a Lifesaver.
8:25>> [snorts]
8:25>> He's so legendary that he can even make
8:27the Robin Hood shot. From 30 yd away, he
8:30can hit a bull's-eye.
8:33And on his next shot, he can split the
8:35arrow [music]
8:36that was in the bull's-eye. Now, I used
8:38to do archery when I was a kid for a
8:39summer, maybe when I was 12, and I was
8:41pretty decent. But what if I told you
8:43that I could train you for 1 hour and I
8:45could have you hitting the target with
8:47more accuracy [music] than Byron
8:49Ferguson could on his best day, as long
8:51as we blindfold Byron Ferguson [music]
8:53and spin him around a few times so he
8:55didn't know which way he was shooting.
8:56And you say, "Prince,
8:58that's silly.
9:00How can somebody hit a target that
9:02he can't even see?"
9:04You know, that's a great question.
9:07Let me ask you one. How can you hit a
9:09target
9:11that you don't even have?
9:14See, you haven't specified
9:16your bull's-eye. And if you shoot for
9:18nothing, that's what you hit, nothing.
9:20Or maybe you have you have many
9:23bull's-eyes, right? Everywhere. You You
9:25want to do this, you want to do that.
9:27This thing, that thing. You You want to
9:28listen to this podcast and and that
9:31YouTube video. And what happens is you
9:33end up learning a little about a lot
9:37instead of learning a lot
9:39about a little. You have to find your
9:41bull's-eye. The universe will give you
9:43everything you ask for, but you have to
9:45be specific. Be specific. How many
9:47pounds do you want to lose? Let's say
9:49you just want to lose weight. How much
9:50money do you want to make? You need
9:52[music] to get it down to the exact
9:53decimal point. Then you say, "Prince, I
9:56I don't know what to do. I don't even
9:58know what to do, where to turn, what
9:59what to even do in life." Well,
10:01>> [music]
10:01>> I want to explain you something that
10:02really helped me. This is called the
10:04rule of 50. I want to explain to you the
10:06rule of 50. And do this right now.
10:09Because if you don't do it, you're never
10:11going to do it. Pause the video and do
10:12this. Get out a piece of paper, and I
10:15want you to write down 50 things that
10:17you [music] want to do, experience,
10:19achieve, obtain, whatever, create.
10:24And I want you to take that 50.
10:27And I want you to cut it down to 20.
10:30And say, "Okay, if I can only accomplish
10:3120 of these 50 things,
10:33what would they be?"
10:36And then I want you to cut that 20 down
10:37to 10.
10:39And then five.
10:40And then three. And push the needle
10:42forward on those [music] three things
10:45every day.
10:46And then, for each goal,
10:49this is very important. For each goal,
10:53I want you to create a big domino.
10:56See, the big domino principle is this.
10:59You have to find the one [music] thing
11:02that will knock every other domino down
11:07in your life. So, what's the one thing
11:09in your life that you can do that will
11:12make every other goal easier or
11:15necessary? Let me say that again.
11:16[music] What is the one thing
11:18that you can do
11:20that will make every other goal easier
11:23or unnecessary. And after you have the
11:25big domino goal, [music]
11:28you got to write it down. Write it down,
11:30please. Once you write it down, it
11:31becomes real. Write it down, place it
11:33next to your bed so you can see it every
11:35morning and night. You could also place
11:37it in areas of your house or workspace
11:38[music] that you frequent, right? To
11:41constantly keep you
11:44in focus.
11:45And after that, I want you to take that
11:47big domino goal
11:50and I want you to break it down into
11:51tiny steps. There's an old African
11:53proverb that says, "How do you eat an
11:55elephant?"
11:57The answer?
11:59One bite at a time.
12:01Henry Ford said, "Nothing is hard if you
12:03divide it into small jobs." My favorite
12:06movie, Vanilla Sky, it says,
12:08>> The little things.
12:11There's nothing bigger than that.
12:14>> So, I want to teach you how to do a
12:15technique
12:17called Kaizen.
12:19Kaizen is a Japanese word that means
12:21good change by small improvement. And
12:25Kaizen is by far the best way to set
12:28goals, the best way to to create habits,
12:31the best long-term success system. But
12:34see, you got to remember this cuz a lot
12:35of people heard of Kaizen, but they
12:37don't practice it, they don't actually
12:39make use of it. With Kaizen, you have to
12:41have faith and optimism, you have to
12:43trust the science. Write that down. You
12:45must trust it. So, forget what the
12:47influencers, the motivational speakers
12:49have told you, you know, things like you
12:51got to take big steps, you got to use
12:54willpower and make massive change to
12:57succeed in life. That's wrong. All of
12:59the scientific evidence says otherwise.
13:01Big steps create fear, mostly
13:04subconsciously, which reduces our
13:06ability to think creatively, clearly,
13:09and to be consistent in our actions. But
13:12small actions, small actions, when you
13:15when you chip away at your [music] goal,
13:17you tiptoe
13:19around your fear, and you actually get
13:21your goals done. So, step number one,
13:23say your big domino is is health, right?
13:25Getting your health back on track.
13:27because if you if you had your better
13:29health, you would have energy, right?
13:31You would have positive motivation. You
13:33would have less pain
13:35blocking you. Step number two, ask
13:37yourself, what is the smallest, most
13:40trivial step I can take to be healthier?
13:42This step should not create any fear or
13:44anxiety. In fact, it should be almost
13:46laughable. So, for instance, if you want
13:49to be healthier, one small habit could
13:50be you want to drink more water. Well,
13:53step number three, after that, you ask
13:55yourself, [music]
13:56what is one small thing you can do that
13:58will take a minute or less to drink more
14:00water? It could be simply filling up
14:02multiple water bottles and placing them
14:05in areas around your house so you see
14:07it, or you take a minute to fill up one
14:09big water bottle and carry it around
14:11with you everywhere you go, taking a
14:13drink every hour. Small steps, but
14:16[music] if that's too big, get this.
14:18Just spend 30 seconds a day thinking
14:21about [music] drinking more water.
14:22Believe it or not, it works because it's
14:24not about the action, it's about [music]
14:26rewiring the brain circuits to create
14:28the habit. Another example is say you
14:30wanted to exercise more, but you just
14:32find it hard to get the motivation to
14:34work out. Just go and stand on a
14:36treadmill for 1 minute a day. If you
14:39don't have a treadmill, commit to doing
14:42one squat per day. If that's too much,
14:44do half a squat. There are infinite ways
14:47to to use Kaizen, but the secret is to
14:49customize it to your own liking. And
14:52remember, the step should be almost
14:54laughable that you would think it would
14:56never work. And then step number four,
14:59reward yourself. Once you practice the
15:01habit, give yourself a small reward upon
15:04[music] completion of the action. It
15:06could be as simple as a pat on the back,
15:08but make sure the reward is appropriate
15:11to your habit. [music] You don't want to
15:12give yourself a a piece of chocolate
15:14cake if your habit that you wanted to to
15:17to achieve was to be healthier. Now,
15:19[music] you may ask, why, Press, why
15:21give a reward? Because our brains are
15:23one of the most complex systems in the
15:25universe, and they're also [music]
15:26relatively stupid. They go towards
15:28pleasure
15:29and away from pain. And when you
15:30associate the action with pleasure of
15:33the reward, [music]
15:35pretty soon you won't need the reward
15:37because your brain will associate the
15:39positive feelings [music] to the action
15:41itself. It's just that simple. Step
15:43number five, after you perform the
15:46action, say if your habit was you wanted
15:48to read more, right? Reading you know, a
15:50page or a chapter a day. After that page
15:54or even [music] paragraph becomes easy
15:56and fun, then you move up, right? You
15:59move up to the page. And if [music] that
16:01page is too daunting, you scale it back
16:03back to the paragraph, back to the
16:05sentence, right? Remember, keep this in
16:08mind, write this down.
16:10>> [music]
16:10>> It's not about the action, it's about
16:12building the neural pathways
16:15for the habit.
16:15>> [music]
16:16>> Now, warning, if you ever find yourself
16:18not performing the Kaizen step or losing
16:21motivation or interest, nine times out
16:23of 10 you have made the step too big.
16:25[music] Remember, Kaizen should be easy.
16:27The time commitment should be low,
16:29should be laughable. If the step is too
16:32big, then your brain will fold its arms
16:34like a stubborn child. One of [music]
16:36the best ways to stay focused along with
16:39Kaizen is having a community to keep you
16:42accountable and a mentor. Now, you want
16:44to [music] take your domino goal and
16:46maybe find a person who has achieved
16:49that goal, somebody who embodies that
16:51goal. So, I want to tell you something
16:53that I just launched. If you are a
16:54creator, if you have a business, right,
16:57and you're looking to go from invisible
17:00to impactful to profitable, I want you
17:03to join me at Creator University at
17:05School. This is a place where you can
17:07have one-on-one support with me, [music]
17:09my team, and also the community to keep
17:12you accountable and take your goals,
17:14dreams, and business to the next level.
17:17But see, after
17:19you have, you know, honed in on your
17:21target, I'mma tell you this, it will
17:23stay blurry if you don't change one
17:25thing. You see, you have been lied to.
17:28You have been told by every YouTuber,
17:30podcast, this and that that success is
17:33[music] about willpower and discipline.
17:35Survey says
17:37that was a lie. See, the truth is to
17:40change your life,
17:42you got to change your life. You have to
17:45defeat the second boss.
17:47And the second boss
17:50is your environment. [music] Carl Jung
17:51said, "Until you make the unconscious
17:53conscious, it will control your life and
17:55you will call [music] it fate." These
17:57unconscious forces
17:59are your environment. You need to
18:01understand something very important.
18:02This is a fundamental principle about
18:04life. Pay attention [music] to this.
18:06Every thought
18:08leads to an action, but every thought
18:10is mostly [music] a reflex from the
18:13environment. So, to change your actions,
18:15you change your thoughts, [music] but to
18:16change your thoughts, you must change
18:17your environment into one that will
18:19nourish
18:21good thoughts. You see, you cannot grow
18:23a seed on infertile soil. We have been
18:26blaming the seed all this time, but
18:28truly the responsibility belongs to the
18:31soil. See, you can be the laziest, least
18:34disciplined person on the face of the
18:37Earth
18:38and still be successful. How?
18:41Because when you when you shape your
18:44environment, when you shape your
18:46environment in an intelligent way,
18:49your dreams, your goals, your desires
18:53will fall right into your lap. And if
18:56you need any discipline at all, it's
18:58only in investing in the one hour to
19:01actually step back and architect your
19:04environment. Now, I know this may be
19:05hard for you to hear
19:08because so many people have criticized
19:10you and you have criticized yourself for
19:12not having the the willpower,
19:15the discipline, the consistency, but
19:17they were wrong.
19:19It's not you, it's your system. It's not
19:21you, it's your soil. So, since the
19:24environment is what's truly important,
19:26you have two choices. Door number one,
19:29design your life, fertilize your own
19:31soil, or door number two, allow your
19:34life to be designed for you. Allow the
19:36world to put the chemicals, the GMOs
19:39into your soil. But, I know since you're
19:41watching this video, I know what door
19:43you're choosing. You must design your
19:45environment for success. What if your
19:47car and house paid you back? Instead of
19:49taking money from you, they could pay
19:50you and shape you in a way that you can
19:53be more successful. [music] Does that
19:54sound good to you? Well, this is an idea
19:56I created called architecting your
19:58environment. Architecting your
19:59environment is the key to [music]
20:00success. You have to custom make an
20:02environment that will necessitate your
20:04positive growth and evolution. Scratch
20:07[music] that. Necessitate is the wrong
20:08word. We must create an environment that
20:10will force our positive [music] growth
20:13and evolution. Don't give yourself
20:15another option. You know, I had a
20:16conversation with Tony Robbins a while
20:18ago, [music] and he told me he does not
20:20negotiate with himself. And Kobe Bryant
20:23said the same thing.
20:24>> I'm not negotiating with myself.
20:25>> Yeah.
20:26>> The deal was already made. Deal was
20:28made. I signed that contract with
20:29myself, I'm doing it.
20:31>> You know, there's an old myth about
20:33Irishman. They say when an Irishman is
20:35confronted with a wall that's too high,
20:37the Irishman
20:39will throw his hat over the wall, giving
20:42himself no option other than to get over
20:45that wall because his hat
20:47is there. And so, now he has to go get
20:49it.
20:50So, the first thing you need to do if
20:53you want to architect your environment
20:54is you got to audit your environment.
20:56What are our environments made out of?
20:58Well, a human being experiences the
20:59world through his five senses. You learn
21:01this in first grade, right? Sight,
21:03hearing, touch, smell, taste. These are
21:05the ways we take in information. So, my
21:07suggestion is simple. Anything you come
21:09into contact with, you are exposed to in
21:12the form of information,
21:14you must audit it. Ask yourself, is this
21:17contributing to the best version of
21:18myself or is it taking away from it?
21:21Now, I have a list that you can use to
21:23audit yourself and it's right here. Now,
21:25this is a list that you can use to audit
21:27yourself. So, you have friends, family,
21:29TV, news, music, radio, social media,
21:33your house, your work, your office
21:35space, and you've got food and water.
21:37Now, if you want the entire best self
21:40audit, I want you to check the link in
21:41the description box below.
21:43>> [music]
21:43>> But, when it comes to environment, there
21:45is nothing more important than a
21:47supportive community. See, you need to
21:51have need to have a mentor and a
21:53communion with others who are on the
21:55same journey that you're on. And so, I
21:57started Creator University for this very
22:00purpose. It's a community of creators
22:02and leaders who want to go from
22:04invisible to impactful, to profitable. A
22:07place where you can connect with me
22:09personally, ask questions, [music] I
22:11will talk to you live, and you get all
22:13the workbooks and audits there. And that
22:16leads me to the final boss.
22:20Let me show you who it is. Are you
22:21looking at the screen right now? Come
22:23closer.
22:25There they are.
22:27Right there.
22:29Now, if you were looking at the screen,
22:31then you see that that final boss
22:34is you.
22:35You know, once upon a time there was a
22:37business executive who was deep in debt,
22:39and he could see no way out. The
22:40creditors
22:41were closing in on him. His suppliers
22:43were demanding payment. So, he sat on a
22:46park bench with his head in his hands
22:48wondering if if if if he could do
22:50anything to save his company from
22:52bankruptcy. Suddenly, an old man
22:54appeared before him.
22:56The old man said, "Son, I can see that
22:59something is troubling you." And after
23:01listening to the executives woes, the
23:03old man said,
23:06"I believe I can help you." He asked the
23:07man his name and
23:09he wrote out a check
23:11and pushed it into his hand [music]
23:13saying, "Take the money. Meet me here in
23:15exactly 1 year from today
23:17and you can pay me back at that [music]
23:19time." And then the old man turned and
23:21disappeared as quickly
23:23as he had come.
23:24>> [music]
23:24>> He saw the check in his hand, a check
23:26for $500,000
23:28signed by John D. Rockefeller, [music]
23:32then one of the richest men
23:35in the world. "I can erase my money
23:37worries in an instant." [music] he
23:39realized. But instead, the executive
23:41decided to put the uncashed check
23:44in his safe. See, just knowing it was
23:47there might give him the strength
23:50to work out a way to save his business,
23:52he thought.
23:53And so with renewed optimism, he started
23:56to negotiate better deals. He He
23:58extended terms of payment. He closed
24:00several big sales.
24:03And within only a few months, he was out
24:05of debt and making money once again.
24:08Well, fast forward exactly [music] 1
24:10year later, he returned to the park with
24:12the uncashed check. But just as the
24:14executive was about to hand back the
24:16check and share his his big success
24:19story, a nurse [music]
24:20came running up
24:22and grabbed the old man. She said, "I'm
24:24I'm I'm glad you caught him.
24:26I hope he hasn't been bothering you. You
24:28know, he's always escaping from the rest
24:31[music] home and telling people he's
24:32John D. Rockefeller." And she led the
24:35old man away by the arm. The astonished
24:38[music] executive just stood there
24:40stunned.
24:41All year long he had been wheeling and
24:44dealing, buying and selling, convinced
24:46that he had had a half a million dollars
24:49behind him. And suddenly he realized
24:51that it wasn't the money,
24:54real or imagined, that turned his life
24:57around. It was his new [music] found
24:59confidence that gave him the power to
25:02achieve anything [music]
25:04he had imagined. See, this story is so
25:07powerful because it shows that that all
25:09the confidence that we need is already
25:12inside of us.
25:14The final boss to defeat
25:17is you.
25:18But the you who you think you are and
25:20the you who you want to be
25:22are being directed and controlled by one
25:25thing.
25:27Your nervous system. And until you
25:29regulate your nervous system,
25:31you will stay stuck. You see, currently
25:33your nervous system is is imprinted.
25:35It's programmed with fear. All right,
25:37fear of being seen, fear of making
25:39mistakes, fear of failure, maybe even
25:41fear of success. But they all stem from
25:43the same thing, and that's a nervous
25:45system
25:46that doesn't feel safe. And this is not
25:49your fault. You were brainwashed by
25:51school. Or maybe you had very critical
25:53parents that taught you to fear getting
25:56things wrong. All right, fear of getting
25:58the wrong answer or to have an obsession
26:00with getting the right one. But the
26:02truth is in life,
26:04>> [snorts]
26:04>> you are the answer. Your unique
26:07expression as a human being is always
26:09the right answer.
26:11Mistakes, imperfections [music]
26:13and all. And if you can relax
26:16into all of your brilliance,
26:19you will shine. See, it's really about
26:21getting out of your own way. It's about
26:23the art of non-resistance. You must
26:25accept where you are as though [music]
26:27it is exactly where you should be.
26:30And when you do this, you clean your
26:32frequency, and you can now become an
26:34unblocked signal that the universe can
26:37respond to. See, years ago Gandhi was
26:39asked by a reporter, [music]
26:41"Gandhi, you've done so much. You've led
26:43revolutions. Why don't you run for
26:45president of India?" And Gandhi looked
26:47at the reporter, and [music] he said,
26:49>> service that I can be to India
26:52is to reduce to zero.
26:54>> When I heard this, I was like, "What?
26:56What do you mean, zero?" And then I
26:58realized, yeah,
26:59you got to get out of your own way. When
27:01you become zero, your power becomes
27:03[music] infinite. You become a pure
27:04vessel.
27:06And that all starts from the heart.
27:08Proverbs 23:7, "For [music] as he
27:10thinketh in his heart, so is he." In the
27:12Bible,
27:13the word heart is used five times as the
27:17word faith. You see, in our world today,
27:19we are obsessed [music]
27:20with thoughts, with the mind. Our minds
27:22are open, but our hearts are closed
27:24because nobody ever told you that this
27:26is where your power is. So, consult your
27:28heart in all matters. Again, we live in
27:30a thought-obsessed world. But the most
27:33courageous thing you can do is to live
27:35from your heart. You don't need any more
27:37videos, any more books. [music] You need
27:39the wisdom of your heart. See, a lot of
27:42people want to know the secret to
27:44success, and I've seen a lot of
27:46successful people.
27:48I know them, and I've seen them behind
27:50the scenes. Success is not about talent.
27:53It's about courage. The people who are
27:55successful are the most courageous. And
27:57courage, the word courage comes from the
27:59French word core, meaning heart. When
28:02the high jumper Bob Mathias broke
28:04[music] the high jump record, he was
28:05asked how he did it. He smiled and said,
28:07"Well, I threw my heart over the bar,
28:11and my body followed." So, tool number
28:13one, consult your heart daily, and use
28:16the mantra, I
28:18am safe.
28:20But throughout the day, you will need
28:21another tool because the fear of failure
28:23is one of the most paralyzing fears in
28:26life. But what if instead of being
28:28afraid of it,
28:29you looked for it, and you found it
28:31before it could find you? One of the
28:33best books that I've read in the last 5
28:35years is a book called Go for No. And
28:37see, in this book, the author suggests
28:38that you should aim to increase the
28:40number of times you hear no, as this
28:43will ultimately lead to more [music]
28:45yes responses
28:47and greater success. See, this is such a
28:49clever way to outsmart fear. You you you
28:52look for the rejection. You seek
28:54failure.
28:55>> [music]
28:56>> Now, this strategy is not a willingness
28:58to fail, it's a wantingness to fail.
29:01That is the secret and this disarms
29:04failure until it becomes [music]
29:05powerless because the truth about
29:07success is that to succeed, you got to
29:11fail. The greatest home run hitter that
29:13ever lived, Hank Aaron, had to strike
29:15out twice for every time he hit a home
29:18run. Babe Ruth is remembered by his home
29:21runs, not his strikeouts. But, you know
29:23what's crazy? He held the strikeout
29:25record for three decades. See, nobody
29:27remembers the failures, only the
29:30successes. So, swing for the fences and
29:34go for no because you will eventually
29:38find yes. But, you need a tool
29:40throughout the day
29:42to keep you on [music] track. And the
29:44last tool that I'm going to share with
29:46you is to turn your brain into a
29:48question machine. Scientists will tell
29:50you that for some reason the brain
29:52cannot turn down a question. It's weird,
29:54right? The brain will always [music] try
29:56to find an answer. So, you got to be
29:58very careful what questions you're
30:01asking your brain. [music] You ask
30:02yourself, "Why am I such a failure?"
30:03Your brain will scan for an answer.
30:06Well, in 10th grade, you you failed Miss
30:07Johnson's chemistry class. So, you need
30:10to make sure you're asking yourself
30:13power [music] questions everyday
30:15throughout the day. Power questions are,
30:18"What would my highest, most developed
30:19[music] self do right now? How would my
30:22highest, most developed self feel right
30:25now?" [music] And the third is, "Can I
30:27open my heart more in this moment?"
30:30These questions [music] will lead to
30:32actions that are in the best and highest
30:35calling
30:36of your life.
