1:05we are going to palmo today and it takes
1:08us about an hour to drive there we're
1:11currently staying in castellare Del gulo
1:15here in Sicily we've been staying here
1:17for 6 days and it's truly been amazing
1:22it's always been a dream of mine to
1:25visit Sicily and I'm so happy that we
1:28finally made it happen I always thought
1:31it would be quite complicated to travel
1:33to Sicily and also quite expensive but
1:36to be honest it hasn't been very
1:39expensive at all we got pretty cheap
1:42flights to palmo and then we decided to
1:46rent the car because it is a bit easier
1:48to get around in Sicily by having a car
1:52I would have preferred taking the trains
1:54because it is quite stressful to rent a
1:57car and it was our first time renting a
2:00car and I just remember when we went
2:03into the car rental service ooh the
2:06people there weren't the friendliest I
2:09don't know why I don't know if it's like
2:11a thing in Italy or if it's just in
2:13general like the car service business
2:16but the guy was so intimidating he was
2:18kind of scaring us about like what could
2:20happen to the car and that we would need
2:22to pay super expensive insurances even
2:26though we had already paid for insurance
2:29I was just just I don't know I was so
2:31stressed out and also so many of you
2:33guys told me that you need to be careful
2:36when driving in Italy because Italians
2:39can be quite crazy when driving and that
2:42is definitely true they also get quite
2:45annoyed when you're driving slow so yeah
2:48just be prepared if you are going to be
2:50renting a car but we are very happy that
2:53we decided to rent a car because we've
2:55been able to drive to the most beautiful
2:58locations we went twice to like a hidden
3:02Beach and it was truly breathtaking if
3:05you haven't watched our Sicily Vlog then
3:08I highly recommend checking it out we
3:10have had such an amazing trip here and I
3:13think you guys will love the video as
3:15much as we did but today it's going to
3:17be a city day in palmo and I'm so
3:21excited to visit the city I think we
3:23chose a good day to go there because it
3:26is quite gloomy and it's not going to be
3:29too warm so it's the perfect day to
3:31explore the city we've already had
3:34breakfast as you guys saw we've
3:36literally been eating breakfast out on
3:38the balcony every single morning it is
3:41so nice and peaceful here this town is
3:44so small and so cute you know the
3:47buildings are this close to each other I
3:50was FaceTiming my grandma and I was
3:51showing her around the apartment and she
3:54was saying that you can almost shake
3:55hands with the person on the other side
3:58of the street which is so true through
4:00and it's so cute and there are not a lot
4:02of people you know walking around so it
4:05feels more quiet more peaceful it's not
4:08very touristy and I'm so happy we
4:10decided to come here I feel like we've
4:12been able to experience the Italian
4:16dream but now I'm going to put on some
4:18makeup and pick out an outfit for a day
4:22in palmo

5:17we know for a fact that we need to try
5:19at least two traditional Sicilian food
5:24so first of all we need to try the
5:26iconic canoli it's like a tube shaped
5:31pastry dough that is fried and inside
5:34it's like a creamy filling usually
5:37containing ricotta cheese I have never
5:39tried canoli but I feel like it's a
5:42quite popular dessert so I'm really
5:45excited to try it and I think we need to
5:48try Aran Chini which is fried rice balls
5:54so that's at least two dishes that we
5:56need to try but maybe we will find
5:59something else but we've actually not
6:01had terisu in this trip that's crazy
6:05which is shocking because we love terisu
6:09and you guys even send me Instagram
6:11reals about terisu jokes so you know how
6:15much I love turo so it's surprising that
6:18we haven't had turiso we've been eating
6:21quite a lot at home cooking some food
6:23and stuff when we went to one restaurant
6:26when we actually wanted to order turu
6:28they didn't have it on the menu
6:30so that was a bummer so I think maybe
6:32tonight is the night that we need to
6:34have

6:46terisu oh my goodness we finally managed
6:50to find a parking spot but it was a
6:53hazle also just driving in the city yeah
6:56the traffic was insane the lines weren't
6:58properly div it so everybody was just
7:00driving almost onto each other yeah it
7:03was insane I was so stressed out because
7:05we don't want to like you know stress
7:07the rental car and whatever but now we
7:09are in the city center so we're just
7:11going to explore and see what palmo is
7:13all about

8:03we're nearby a pastry shop that is
8:06famous for its canoli so we are going to
8:09go and finally taste the famous canoli

8:46God I didn't know what to expect but it
8:48didn't
8:50disappoint it's very good very filling

9:29super stunning and I'm wearing this
9:32leather skirt with it I think it's
9:36really cool but it's a bit bulky and I'm
9:39not sure about the detail over here it
9:41goes pretty well together don't you
9:43think this one is really cool especially
9:46for fall I would love if it were a bit
9:50longer so I think it's s but still it's
9:53beautiful next up is this leather blazer
9:57such a beautiful color

10:27perfectly well I decided to treat myself
10:32and I bought two jackets so I bought the
10:35gold chain gabana jacket because it is
10:38so stunning and it's such a classic
10:41piece to have in my wardrobe and I know
10:44I'm going to use it a lot and the most
10:48perfect leather jacket I just knew that
10:50I would have regretted it if I wouldn't
10:53have bought it so I had to get it and
10:55I'm so happy I know I'm going to be
10:57using it a lot this upcoming winter and
11:01Autumn and then we randomly stumbled
11:03upon a jewelry shop I decided to buy
11:09this Beed white necklace so beautiful it
11:13was
11:14€20 so yeah I've been quite lucky with
11:17the shopping so far but now we are going
11:20to go check out the cathedral here in
11:24palmo apparently it's a must sea so we
11:27are going to take a walk over there

11:58we walk to the other side of the city to
12:00go to a legendary Espresso Bar called B
12:04Del Coto but when we arrived it was
12:07closed even though Google Maps said it
12:10was supposed to be open I'm so sad that
12:13we won't be able to try the espresso but
12:16I just wanted to mention it so if you
12:18guys are in the city and you want to try
12:20authentic Italian espresso then I think
12:23this is the place you should check out
12:25and there's also another place that is
12:27closed today which is so sad but it's a
12:29really cool restaurant and a vintage
12:32store it's called OA I don't know how to
12:36pronounce I will write it here on the
12:37screen so you guys can go check it out
12:40it's really our aesthetic I would have
12:42loved to visit that place but sadly it's
12:45closed today and tomorrow so we won't be
12:47able to see it so yeah we've been trying
12:49to figure out where to go and what to do
12:52I think we might check out a bookstore
12:55SL vintage store and see what's going on
12:58there and then I think we might just go
13:01and have some up at a TV sit down and
13:05have something to drink and some snacks
13:07before having dinner

13:54Italy and
13:56Spain so cheers the bat
14:10this place was super nice and when we
14:13left it was already filled with people
14:16and they were only serving uh natural
14:18wines and we got orange wine which was
14:20really good and a plate with some ham
14:25and cheese and olives it was really good
14:28and now wants to go see the

14:52beach our day trip here in palmo is
14:55coming to an end we're going to end the
14:57Night by going to to a beautiful Italian
15:00place called Osteria palaro and
15:03hopefully get some nice Italian dishes
15:05and just have a cozy time so yeah let's
15:08go
