0:00I want to share something with you that

0:01might change your life. There was a time

0:04when I'd think 10 times before speaking

0:05to anyone. If I had to say something in

0:08front of a teacher in class, my voice

0:09would shake. Somewhere deep down, I felt

0:12people would laugh at me or just ignore

0:14me. I'm an introvert and this was a huge

0:17struggle. I know a lot of you can relate

0:19to this, but the biggest problem was

0:21that whenever I tried to speak up,

0:23either the words would come out wrong

0:24>> [music]

0:24>> or I'd say something extra that wasn't

0:27necessary. Once I wanted to ask my

0:29teacher something, but I couldn't gather

0:30the courage. Class ended [music] and

0:32that question stayed stuck inside me.

0:34That day I realized if I didn't work on

0:37my communication skills, this problem

0:39would stay with me for life. So, I made

0:41a decision. I was going to improve my

0:43communication skills. I started

0:45collecting knowledge from everywhere,

0:47watched [music] over 400 YouTube videos

0:49and podcasts, took online courses,

0:52worked on one point at a time. But

0:53first, I understood [music] one thing.

0:55Communication doesn't mean talking more.

0:58It means making your words impactful.

1:00I'm going to tell you the same secrets I

1:02discovered during my own struggle. If

1:04your problem is like mine, just give me

1:06eight minutes and you'll feel a real

1:08change within yourself. Point one,

1:10change the speed of your thoughts.

1:13First, I started slowing down how I

1:15spoke because here's the thing.

1:17>> [music]

1:17>> We think slow but speak fast. When you

1:19speak too quickly, your words lose their

1:21impact. I remember one day my teacher

1:24asked me to explain something. I started

1:26speaking fast and nobody understood a

1:28word. The teacher said, "Speak a little

1:30slower. Let everyone follow. You're

1:33rushing so much no one can understand."

1:35That's when it hit me. Speed only

1:37matters in a race, never in

1:38communication. So, I built a habit.

1:41Speak slowly and take pauses. The

1:44benefit of speaking slowly [music] is

1:45that you get to think properly and

1:47whatever you say becomes impactful and

1:50valuable. Example, have you seen Peaky

1:53Blinders, Thomas Shelby? Notice how

1:55carefully he chooses his words

1:57>> [music]

1:57>> and every line lands with impact when he

1:59speaks. That's only possible because he

2:01controls his pace. If you think speaking

2:04slowly is enough, wait. There's one more

2:06thing that can add real weight to your

2:08words. Point two, increase the gap

2:12between your sentences. I remember

2:14another struggle. Whenever I spoke, I'd

2:16throw in fillers like um, ah, hmm in

2:20between [music] and I could feel it was

2:22making what I said weak. You might have

2:24this problem, too. Fillers basically

2:26mean you're taking time to think of your

2:27next sentence and in that gap, you use

2:29words like um, hmm. Yeah, that adds zero

2:34meaning and it makes you look weak. Once

2:36I was having a discussion with a friend

2:38and while explaining a topic, I used so

2:40many fillers that he said, "Are you

2:42thinking or are you talking?" That's

2:45when it hit me. Fillers make your

2:46confidence look weak. [music] That day I

2:48decided instead of fillers, I'd take a

2:51pause. At first, I thought pausing would

2:53feel awkward, but once I started

2:55practicing, my speech became even more

2:57impactful. When you take a gap, what you

3:00say sounds more mature and confident. I

3:02put these two decisions, controlling

3:04speed and avoiding fillers, into

3:06practice and slowly I understood one

3:09more thing. Practice only works when you

3:11know exactly what to practice. Now, I

3:13can speak confidently in front of

3:15anyone. If you follow both of these, a

3:17natural flow will come into your speech

3:20and you'll be able to impress people

3:21with your words. Look, communication

3:24skills don't improve with practice

3:26alone. You first need to understand your

3:28mistakes. Practice for sure, but the

3:30right way. If you've watched this video

3:32till here, it means you genuinely want

3:34to improve your communication skills and

3:36I'm bringing a step-by-step series for

3:38you that'll help you grow part by part.

3:41And finally, I salute your dedication

3:43from the heart. You skipped shorts and

3:45time-wasting videos to watch something

3:47meaningful instead. That hunger for

3:49improvement inside you will one day set

3:51you apart from the crowd. The fact that

3:53you watched this till the end means

3:54you're serious about changing something

3:56within yourself. Very few people invest

3:59their time to learn something truly

4:00meaningful. Your dedication inspires me

4:03a lot. Tell me something. Are you going

4:05through any struggle in your life right

4:06now that you think we could talk about?

4:08Do you feel like your words don't carry

4:10the impact you want them to? Or

4:12>> [music]

4:12>> do you feel people don't take you

4:13seriously? Comment below and share your

4:15experience. [music] I personally read

4:17every comment and maybe your struggle

4:19becomes the topic of my next video. Your

4:22words matter to me as much as your

4:23dreams matter to [music] you. If you

4:25like this video, share it with a friend

4:27who you think these points could bring

4:29some change to. [music] Your one share

4:30might help someone else start their own

4:32journey. Until then, keep practicing.

4:35Bye.
