0:37That little bit of levity here in the air, it's just eye rolls and conundrums from Thursday Night Football.

0:45That game, that game was, what?

0:50If people, that game was a, look, it was a disaster, but it wasn't at the exact same time.

0:58No, it was a good game.

1:00I was over here pleading, begging George Pickens to have a big game.

1:06Oh, I accidentally cleared my board here to see your prediction.

1:10We were pretty close, though.

1:11His prediction, I want to say, was like 7 for 115 and a touchdown.

1:14It was something right around there.

1:15And he ended up 9 for 130 and a touchdown.

1:18So pretty good.

1:19So I wanted George to have a great game, but not at the expense of everybody else on the Cowboys.

1:25I mean, this was, I think, the first time an 0-4 team won on the road against somebody since 1975.

1:31Won't be the last time this week.

1:33The Cowboys.

1:34Nice.

1:35So Pickens had eight targets, four catches, 63 yards in the first three quarters.

1:40They went to him immediately.

1:42In the fourth quarter when CeeDee Lamb went out.

1:45Yes.

1:45Five catches.

1:46Then they went to him the whole time.

1:4767 yards and a touchdown in that span.

1:49And the, you know, you followed up a week where CeeDee Lamb had 21 targets and 17 catches with a week where they barely had the football.

1:58The only time Dallas had the football and had drives, CeeDee was out.

2:01And the report was quad contusion.

2:04He got hit in the quad in the same spot that he got hit last week.

2:07He's got 10 days to recover.

2:08They're not expecting, you know, that's not going to be a salve for your fantasy team.

2:12Because CeeDee ended up with two catches for nine yards.

2:15Absolute disaster.

2:16Pickens had a big game.

2:17Javante saved his day with a touchdown.

2:19The story of the night, Bucky Irving.

2:22Holy crap.

2:24Yeah.

2:24I mean, it was just like the, dude.

2:29I mean.

2:30And two touchdowns.

2:34The story is the Dallas defense.

2:37Not only did it not improve, it may be worse.

2:49Dak looked like he forgot.

2:50He looks so bad.

2:51Forgot how to throw with any accuracy.

2:53And then he had two drops.

2:55The two that he actually puts on to people.

2:57Ferguson.

3:01Because the throws he was making, they're back foot.

3:04They were skittish and scared.

3:06It was a terrible game.

3:07But the Dallas defense, like, if you want to know why it isn't good for the offense, last

3:13night's the perfect example.

3:15They were a terrible defense last night and the offense sucked.

3:17Because they gave up an 11 minute drive to Bucky Irving and Jason superstar Jalon Daniels.

3:24That's right.

3:25I knew what I was doing.

3:27Bigging up Jalon Daniels.

3:28Yeah.

3:29I will say this.

3:30Since we're talking about the Cowboys defense, we need to give a little bit of credit as well

3:34to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense.

3:35Going into last night.

3:37Prior to them pretty much shutting down the Cowboys for the vast majority of the game,

3:42they were top 10 against quarterbacks, top 10 against running backs, top 10 against wide

3:46receivers.

3:47They have been a good defense.

3:49You don't think of that when they're an 0-4 team.

3:52That's a good point because Todd Bowles, that's the one thing he's always been able to do is

3:56kind of scheme up a defense.

3:57That probably had a lot to do with it.

3:59It looked like Dak was under pressure a lot.

4:02He couldn't settle into the pocket.

4:04He missed Seedy wide open for a bomb touchdown.

4:07Which I've rewatched a lot of times.

4:10Yeah.

4:10Yeah.

4:10That was.

4:11And it was because he was skittish in the pocket.

4:14But Bucky, 21 for 165 and one, caught a touchdown pass, scored twice from within the six.

4:21This is so comforting for those who have been hearing Kenny Gainwell, Sean Tucker talk.

4:28Because that's what it has been.

4:30The hilarity of last week where it's like Sean Tucker.

4:38Like the short yardage is Sean Tucker.

4:40And then we leave the game and Robinson is like, we got to figure out how to get Gainwell

4:47and Tucker the ball more.

4:49And they're like, sight!

4:50Is Bucky Irving inside the five?

4:53Which we haven't done here.

4:54He was on fire.

4:54He was on fire and they stuck with him, which is what a good offensive coordinator does.

4:58Yeah, you had to.

4:59I mean, his big 72-yard run was not what it usually is.

5:04When you watch an NFL game and someone has a 72-yard run, it is almost always a lane opens

5:09up and a guy explodes.

5:11This was not.

5:12This was Bucky's like, oh, I'm stuck.

5:14It was Frogger.

5:15It was completely Frogger.

5:17He's just jumping to the left, jumping to the right.

5:18With going.

5:20Yeah.

5:21All the Cowboys jumping, diving into an empty spot.

5:24That he just moved out of.

5:26I mean, it was all Bucky.

5:27So he looked fantastic.

5:29A couple, you know, going into last year's draft, he was, I think, ADP, like the running

5:33back seven, which felt maybe higher than what his ceiling should be at that point.

5:38And obviously he disappointed, had a bad injury.

5:40That's actually crazy to look back on.

5:42I didn't realize it was that high.

5:43Yeah.

5:43And so now it's like, he looks like what he looked like coming out of his rookie season.

5:49And it's.

5:51The gap is wildly different from Gainwell to Bucky Irving or from Sean Tucker to Bucky

5:56Irving.

5:56Yeah.

5:56I mean, Gainwell got four carries.

5:58Chris Godwin got a carry.

6:00The Buka got a carry.

6:01So they're not like, this isn't the timeshare.

6:04No, it was a, it was a big game for Todd Bowles.

6:08Cause if he blew it at the end of that one, he was probably saying goodbye to this team.

6:13They tried.

6:14Well, it was nonsensical what happened.

6:17Dude, I am, I am all for.

6:43A Buka got into the end zone, not through the air, but on the ground on an end around

6:46run, 14 yards, but he had his first double digit scoring day.

6:50Probably the first one since you benched him or something out there.

6:53But I mean, he hasn't scored double digits since I believe week 10 last season.

6:58So it's been a minute.

6:59And, and I wouldn't doubt if people did bench him considering Baker's gone.

7:02Oh, I would have benched him.

7:03And so yeah, they just need a Baker out of the way.

7:05And Jalon Daniels to come in here and set up scoring opportunities.

7:09The Baker might be back soon, by the way, they were talking on the broadcast a little

7:13sooner than expected.

7:14Like if Ferguson doesn't cause that interception at the end of the game, what the way that the

7:19momentum was going, Dallas was going to score.

7:22Absolutely.

7:23And even before.

7:24Because he was wide open when he caused that interception, by the way.

7:26Yes.

7:26That would have been at like the 12 on first down.

7:28And also, Deron Bland dropped a game, a potential game tying pick six.

7:36An easy one.

7:37It was like Dallas did everything they could to, to lose this game.

7:40Papa Josh could have caught that thing.

7:44I've seen, I've seen stone hands out there.

7:46He couldn't take handoffs.

9:51And because of the way that fantasy football and social media works, you're like, okay, this starts then spreading around.

9:57You're like, okay, that's what happened.

9:59So why would I need to go back and double check that?

10:03You know, you know who was practicing on, on, uh, what was it?

10:07Thursday or Wednesday.

10:07It was like T Higgins was practicing.

10:09No, he wasn't.

10:10He got marked as a, a did not practice.

10:12You know, who was practicing yesterday?

10:15Actually, no, he was, uh, he was on the side with the trainer and now he's not going to practice today.

12:01Devante Smith did not practice hamstring doing rehab on the side.

12:05Saquon Barkley, not expected to play with a hamstring.

12:13Um, this is such the game that the Eagles, like I, I'll tell you right now in our, they end up winning.

13:51That's a big headline for the week.

13:52Jamar Chase returned to a limited practice.

13:53Thursday is in uniform for today.

13:57T Higgins did not practice again.

13:58Thursday, not spotted so far today.

14:02So T Higgins, it's a matchup against Miami, right?

14:05So you, you could see a player that has been historically injured a lot, get a week off.

14:10We'll see what happens with T Higgins.

14:12Chris Olave limited on Thursday with a foot injury.

14:16And they're saying that this is new.

14:19This is not the knee problem that, you know, you saw hyperextended on that last garbage time drive.
