0:00Learn the simple [music]
0:02economic
0:04formula that works [music] for
0:06everybody.
0:08And I can give it to you in just a
0:09couple of sentences. A simple economic
0:12formula, kids [music] can understand it,
0:14anybody can understand it. Anybody that
0:16wants to get paid, here's the language
0:18for your notes.
0:20We get paid [music] for bringing value
0:23to the marketplace.
0:26That's as simple as [music] you can put
0:27economics. Anybody that wants to get
0:29paid, you get paid for bringing value to
0:32the marketplace. The marketplace is
0:34[music] the people.
0:37Now, the value we bring is one part of
0:39it.
0:41A product [music] or a service, but
0:43here's the other part, the value you
0:44become.
0:46So, just off [music] to the side put the
0:48value is two parts. The value you bring
0:50like a product. If you manufactured it,
0:52you might keep improving the product. If
0:54someone else manufactured it and you're
0:55out selling it, they probably [music]
0:57keep improving the product. But, this is
1:00the one you have to work on yourself,
1:01the value you become. [music]
1:04Like an entrepreneur,
1:06a leader,
1:08a teacher,
1:10supervisor,
1:11manager.
1:13What you become also pays [music] much
1:16more than what you bring.
1:19Once I understood [music] that,
1:22then here's what my mentor said. Go to
1:25work on yourself harder than you work on
1:28your [music] job.
1:32If you work hard on your job, you can
1:33make a living. Then he said, "If you
1:36work hard on yourself, you could make a
1:38fortune."
1:41So, I worked hard on my job and made a
1:43living, but I learned starting [music]
1:45with those extra hours per week,
1:47learning these extra skills, I started
1:49working on myself.
