0:44according to Luke . I want to meditate
0:48with you brothers starting from verse
0:4910 . I have the Peshitta version , a
0:53translation from Aramaic to Portuguese ,
0:55but the meaning is the same . While
1:01Jesus was teaching on a day of rest in
1:05one of the synagogues , there was a
1:09woman in that place who had a spirit of
1:13infirmity for 18 years . She walked bent
1:20over because she could not straighten
1:22up completely . Then Jesus , upon seeing
1:28her , called her and said : " Woman , you
1:33are free from your infirmity . " And
1:38laying His hand on her , she
1:40straightened up immediately and
1:45glorified God . But the synagogue leader
1:52, indignant that Jesus had healed on
1:55the day of rest , said to the crowds : "
1:59There are six days in which it is
2:02necessary to work . Come during these to
2:09be healed and not on the day of rest . "
2:15But Jesus answered him , saying : "
2:18Hypocrites , does not each of you untie
2:21your ox or your donkey from the stall
2:24on the day of rest to take it to drink ?
2:30And this woman , who is a daughter of
2:33Abraham , whom the adversary had bound
2:36for 18 years , should she not be
2:38released from this prison on the day of

3:08is evangelistic , as he writes to a man ,
3:15a Gentile , whose Roman influence or
3:17influence among the Romans is great .
3:23Luke uses this strategy so that the
3:26life , works , death , resurrection , and
3:30teachings of Jesus may be spread among

6:41environment or near the environment .
6:47Still dealing with the synagogue , it
6:49was like an extension of the temple . We
6:52, ah , Assembly of God members , and here
6:54there are people who came from the
6:56Assemblies of God , know what I am

7:00having the headquarters and the

9:14a woman who is bent over . This woman

10:13the same environment where Jesus is .

10:22is religious that Jesus is there . For
10:27Revelation says that there are
10:29synagogues of Satan . If the synagogue
10:35is a religious environment , but it
10:36belongs to Satan , it is because Christ
10:39is not the center there . Christ is not
10:43glorified there . Pastor , how do I know
10:47then , if by being in a religious
10:50environment , thinking I am in an
10:52environment where Jesus is , I am not in
10:56a synagogue of Satan ? The text says
11:00that Jesus was teaching , where the true
11:04preaching of the word is prioritized .

11:16Bible , Jesus is there . Where one is
11:21inspired and instructed to meditate on
11:24the Scriptures , Christ is there , for He
11:27will never be where there is no room
11:30for His word . Jesus was teaching ; I

11:48that follows them only to prophecies

13:20to the ground , seeing only her feet and
13:23the feet of others , without seeing
13:26sunlight or stars , she came to the
13:29service .
13:31Hallelujah . And she could not enter due
13:35to an excess of religiosity that did
13:38not express grace . And there she is at
13:43the service where Jesus is .
13:46There are always people who need Him .
13:50There are always people who love Him .
13:54There is always a believer who looks
13:57above their passing needs , recognizing
14:00that the greatest need is Christ and
14:03His word . There are people who could be
14:08here , but aren't . There are people who
14:10plan how not to be here . And I tell you
14:14something , whoever stops gathering
14:16without cause , one day will have a
14:17reason not to gather . That woman
14:22understood that it would be important
14:25to be in that environment where there
14:29is the word of God . The second
14:34observation is that where Jesus is ,
14:37there are needy people . And why was she
14:40needy ? Because an evil spirit , a demon ,
14:45kept her trapped in that infirmity . Not
14:52every infirmity is a consequence of a
14:55lack of care for one's own health . Not
15:00every infirmity is simply hereditary
15:02from father to children or mothers and
15:05grandparents . The devil launches arrows
15:11, which we call evil ones . The devil
15:16makes people sick . In the Old Testament

15:31touched his health . No one understood

15:41text says that a spirit of infirmity
15:44had kept her bent over for 18 years .
15:50People who serve God can be struck by
15:55infirmities launched by demons . Be
16:02careful when thinking that the devil
16:06cannot reach us . We are in a fallen
16:11world , broken by sin . We often do not
16:15watch , and we sin as well . We give an
16:20opening to Satan . It was to the church
16:24that Paul wrote . Do not give place ,

16:47infirmities , strife , wars , you look for

16:58don't help . And the text says , she
17:02could not stand up . Demons take

17:09pleasure in taking our joy , they take

17:26The devil touched that woman's body ,

17:55influence , were prostrate . But the

21:26Go seek the gift of prophecy , go seek

21:38has the gift of ... So many wonderful
21:40gifts . I am not , I am not saying that I

21:46what I am saying is that without wisdom
21:48, without maturity , without life
21:50experience , without pain , without
21:51suffering , you are not fit to advise
21:53anyone .
21:57Now imagine her family advising her .
22:01Don't you see your shoulder is crooked ,
22:03sister ? Don't you see that you're
22:06walking crooked , girl ? Walk straight .
22:09Fix that spine . Walk properly . Look at
22:12how you are . Your voice isn't like that
22:14. Your expressions aren't like that .
22:18And people keep giving advice without
22:19praying first ,
22:23without putting themselves in her shoes
22:25first . But the text says , she could not

23:21Good advice is always valid , but for
23:24every need , there is a type of solution

23:30necessary to have wisdom . to present

23:38Singing songs to a heavy heart is like
23:40pouring vinegar on a wound . In other
23:45words , you can worsen the situation ,
23:48you can generate more pain . I have
