0:14we're about to uh dive the great barrier

0:29what's up guys we're here today at the
0:30port in cairns
0:32because we are about to go dive the
0:34great barrier reef
0:37this has been on my bucket list for
0:38pretty much since i
0:40got into the hobby when i was 10 years
0:41old this is george i'm going to be
0:43talking about corals
0:44in our report
0:48after i graduate i do plan on getting my
0:49scuba certification
0:51and going and seeing a lot of these
0:53corals and animals that i've been
0:54keeping
0:55in my tanks i want to go see them out in
0:56the wild i want to go to australia and
0:58indonesia that's part of the direction
0:59that the channel will be going
1:00um so i'm i'm very excited
1:04so we're about to get on a three-day
1:06live aboard where we're gonna spend
1:07three days and two nights
1:09on board a massive ship that takes us
1:11out to the best spots on the reef
1:13we figured this would be the best way to
1:15see as much of the reef as possible
1:17in you know the short amount of time
1:18that we do have here in australia so
1:20there's gonna be like 30 people on this
1:21boat so we're about to see who on this
1:23boat here is good content
1:27so are you sure you want to get that

2:18we have finally made it here to the
2:20great barrier reef after
2:22a 25 hour plane ride from the states a
2:25couple of buses
2:26a taxi a bus and then a boat ride here
2:30into the middle of the ocean we've made
2:32it to one of the best spots for diving
2:34on the great barrier reef so uh without
2:36further ado
2:37let's get suited up
2:42jellyfish season huh yeah stinger suit
2:44we're here in the wet season it's
2:46actually jellyfish season so we gotta
2:47wear the full-on wetsuit
2:48just in case not a wetsuit it's the same
2:51thing
2:52no it's not it doesn't keep you warm
2:54it's the same thing it's a sting suit
2:56it's a wet suit
2:57it's a tomato it's a tomato okay potato
2:59potato
3:01it's a woozy it's a potato tomato
3:04sting suits the same thing when we're
3:06diving in antarctica you're not going to
3:07want to sting a suit right
3:09that's all i'm going to say okay are you
3:11so slow
3:13i'm methodical in my approach when i do
3:15something i do it right

9:18always dreamed about
9:19and because of you guys because of these
9:21videos
9:23to actually get to see it it's inspiring

9:47going to be staying on board this ship
9:49for the next
9:50two nights and three days um it's just
9:52now really starting to sink in
9:54how long we're about to be at sea on
9:57this boat so
9:58we're gonna give you a room tour all of
10:00the animals i don't own
10:02because i left them all in chicago so we
10:05got these really
10:06comfortable twin cotton beds got a
10:08really cool
10:09photo of a crustacean some kind of
10:11shrimp let us know in the comments what
10:13that is
10:13over there we have the life jackets in
10:15the cupboard
10:24this is so that even if there's not
10:26enough room on the wraps for both of
10:27asher and i that we're still gonna make
10:29it
10:31we have our underwater dive camera right
10:33there that's pretty much it
10:34uh the bathroom the lamp could you even
10:38fit in this cupboard
10:39what's in here it won't open that cover
10:43these are all locked they're all about
10:45the lab yeah so we have a really useful
10:48lamp here in case you want to plug it in
10:50uh i guess you just sort of ran this in
10:52the outlet or something
10:55i don't really know how that's supposed
10:56to work you know what i would do is take
10:58it off this desk
10:59but

11:03i think the lamp is all about the
11:05aesthetic anyways i'm really excited
11:07guys we got like 10 more dives
11:09super stoked honestly at this point i
11:11really just want to see a shark
11:13a sea turtle maybe margot robbie
11:18if i get one of those three i'll be a
11:20happy camper at the end of this level
