0:07>> Hey. Hey. Don't move. Stay right there.
0:12>> [panting]
0:13>> I got you.
0:14I see a medic on site.
0:16Don't you dare close your eyes on me.
0:19Do you hear me?
0:21Look right at me.
0:23>> [sighs and gasps]
0:25>> Oh, sweet liberty.
0:26That is a bad burn.
0:30Those squids really did good on you this
0:31time, didn't they?
0:33It's completely scorched right through
0:34the plating on your side.
0:38Don't try to talk.
0:40Save your strength.
0:43I saw you take the hit from the trench
0:44line.
0:46You were supposed to be holding the
0:47ridge.
0:48Picking them off from a distance.
0:50Not charging an illuminate illusionist
0:52head-on.
0:54What were you thinking, baby?
0:56You Helldivers think that just because
0:57you have a cape and skull on your chest,
0:59you're completely invincible.
1:02News flash, my sweet boy.
1:05You're flesh and blood just like the
1:07rest of us.
1:08And you're incredibly lucky I was
1:10deployed in this sector to patch you up.
1:13Hold still.
1:15Let me administer a stim.
1:17This is going to sting for a second, but
1:20it'll flood your system and stabilize
1:21that plasma burn.
1:23Ready?
1:24Mhm.
1:26There you go.
1:29Deep breaths.
1:31Let the medicine cycle through you.
1:34I know it hurts.
1:36Squeeze my hand if you need to.
1:38I've got you.
1:40Mommy's got you, okay?
1:45Let's take this heavy bucket off your
1:46head so you can actually breathe.
1:54Your face is covered in dirt and sweat.
1:57>> You look completely exhausted.
2:00Look at me.
2:02Keep your eyes focused right on mine.
2:05The area is secure for now.
2:08The rest of your squad pushed the
2:09illuminate forces back over the ridge.
2:12But we cannot stay out here in the open.
2:15I need to move you behind the bunker
2:16lines to the triage tent.
2:19Come on.
2:20Try to sit up for me.
2:23I know your side is on fire.
2:25But I need you to work with me here.
2:28Do you have any idea how hard it is for
2:30a regular CMF infantry medic to drag a
2:325'10" 205 lb Helldiver out of a crater?
2:39Here we go.
2:40Good boy.
2:42Lean all your weight on me.
2:44Keep your arm tight around my shoulder.
2:47I can take it.
2:49>> You always act so tough.
2:52You drop from orbit in a metal pod.
2:54You fight the worst horrors in the
2:56galaxy for Super Earth.
2:58And everyone looks at you
3:00like you're some sort of untouchable god
3:01of war.
3:03But you're not a god to me.
3:06You're just my beautiful, reckless
3:08boyfriend who keeps almost getting
3:09himself killed.
3:11Shh.
3:13Lean on me.
3:15We're almost to the tent.
3:18You don't have to be brave for Super
3:20Earth right now.
3:22You don't have to be a big, scary
3:23Helldiver.
3:26Right now,
3:27you just get to be my sweet boy.
3:30And mommy's going to take incredibly
3:31good care of you.
3:34I promise.
3:36Let's get you inside.
3:38Get this ruined armor off you
3:40and properly bandage that burn.
3:43I'm not letting anything take you away
3:45from me.
3:48>> [sighs]
3:49>> There.
3:51Just lay back for me.
3:53I know.
3:54I know it hurts so much.
3:57Just keep breathing.
3:59In
4:01and out.
4:04Let me get this chest rig off you.
4:07Lift your arms.
4:10Good boy.
4:11You're doing so good for me.
4:16Okay.
4:18The bleeding has stopped.
4:19But this burn is nasty.
4:21I have to clean it and apply the dermal
4:23gel.
4:25It's going to sting. My brave Helldiver.
4:29I need you to look at me, okay?
4:32Don't look at the wound.
4:34Look right into my eyes.
4:36Squeeze my hand if it hurts.
4:40Shh.
4:41I know.
4:43I know it burns, baby.
4:45I'm so sorry.
4:48I'm going as fast as I can.
4:51You know, you're a Helldiver.
4:54You're practically a hero to everyone
4:56else in this camp.
4:58You outrank me by a mile.
5:01Technically,
5:02I'm supposed to be standing at attention
5:04and calling you, "Sir."
5:06>> [laughter]
5:08>> But I can't do that.
5:10Not when I'm looking at you like this.
5:12Not when you're hurt.
5:15To the rest of Super Earth,
5:17you're an elite, untouchable soldier.
5:20But to me,
5:21you're just my sweet boy.
5:24And right now,
5:26you need your mommy to fix you up.
5:29I know your role is to stay hidden.
5:32You're the absolute best sniper they
5:34have.
5:36You're supposed to be perched up high,
5:39picking them off.
5:42I don't know how that Illusive has got
5:43the drop on you in the trenches, but it
5:45terrified me.
5:48When I saw you fall,
5:49my heart completely stopped.
5:54There.
5:56The gel is on.
5:58It's all cleaned up and wrapped
5:59securely.
6:01You took that so perfectly.
6:04Such a good boy.
6:07I am going to get you a medical
6:08transport as soon as you're stable.
6:11I'm getting you off this miserable rock.
6:15We're going to go back home to
6:16Shoreline.
6:17We'll go back to your quiet apartment.
6:20And you can sleep in your own soft bed.
6:23Instead of the stiff canvas cot.
6:27I'll make sure you get all the rest you
6:28need.
6:30You won't have to lift a single finger.
6:33Mommy's going to take care of absolutely
6:35everything.
6:38Wait.
6:40Command, say that again?
6:42The Uthan rich?
6:46No.
6:48No. No. No.
6:50Understood.
6:53Baby?
6:54The illuminate striders.
6:57They broke the perimeter.
6:59Command is telling all personnel to fall
7:01back, but
7:03we can't move you fast enough.
7:06If we go out there right now,
7:08we are sitting ducks.
7:11Okay.
7:12Okay.
7:14It's okay.
7:16I know I'm just a regular CEF medic. And
7:19I know I don't have your heavy armor.
7:21But, I'm not leaving you.
7:24I am not letting them get anywhere near
7:26you.
7:28Just stay down, my sweet boy.
7:32Let Mommy protect you for once.
7:36You hear that?
7:38My brave Helldiver.
7:40Your brothers came back to deliver a
7:42fresh cup of liberty.
7:49They are out there spreading managed
7:50democracy right now.
7:52We can get you on that Pelican
7:55and get you right up to the Super
7:56Destroyer.
7:58I'm riding up there with you.
8:01And I am not leaving your side until we
8:02are safely back home.
8:05You've done more than enough for Super
8:06Earth today, baby.
8:08It's time to retire to mommy's strict
8:10medical leave.
8:14You held on so well, my perfect patriot.
8:19Let's get you out of here.
