0:00This is how you punish good habits in
0:01MMA. Ciryl Gane has one of the best jabs
0:04at heavyweight, and a good habit that
0:05comes with it is after he jabs, he
0:07angles off to his right, not staying on
0:09center line. But, there's a problem.
0:11When Gane jabs, he pushes off his back
0:13foot, and all his weight shifts onto his
0:15front leg. And as he angles off, his
0:17back leg starts floating behind him. So,
0:18for a split second, he's stuck on one
0:20leg. So, as Gane goes to jab again,
0:22Pereira steps back with the jab while
0:24stepping on Gane's foot. As Gane's back
0:26leg is still floating to angle, that's
0:28when Pereira lands a cross and follows
0:30up again before the round ends.
