3:32>> No, you do. You just need to like capture it. >> Pan over to No, I'm kidding. You have an impeccable aura. >> Thank you. Appreciate it. >> I'm here for it. >> Um, all right. Sweet. Let's talk about some of your I want to talk about what the people don't know. So, you grew up in >> Lena. How much am I going to reveal?
3:53>> No, you don't have to reveal anything. This is I'm not going to say anything. I don't already know. >> Okay. I mean, you know more than most. >> That's true. That's why I want to tell. >> And he's not wearing his baby pink craze that got me in my feels. >> I know. Sorry. It was too much with with

Yeah. >> You can go full body if you want. >> Back to Laredo, Texas. Growing up in Texas. How was it? >> You know, border town. It was very
4:25interesting. It's definitely like a one one time experience. Um not a common experience for both. Not a common place to grow up. >> Would you say you're like kind of a rancher or like a cowboy? >> Um I'm not like a rancher. I grew up going to the ranch. My dad is a cowboy. I wouldn't I don't want to take that,
4:42you know. >> Does he have like an Because you don't have an accent. You lost it with your >> LA. I lost it. I did speak a little funny when I moved to uh LA, but it's a different accent. It's a border town, so it's kind of like >> Yeah, cuz Mexico is right there, right? >> So like most people in my city probably
4:58more people speak Spanish than English, I'd say. >> Okay. >> Which is pretty, you know, >> it's pretty cool. >> It's in the America, but it's like feels like Mexico, you know. talk about like the bar exam and stuff like people know this. I don't know if people >> No one knows this. I guess you're going to be the first one. This is good.
5:15>> You can leak this. Let me give a little more detail. >> Okay. Sorry. I wanted to >> lay that up for you. >> I was in a band. >> It was like emo, pop punk, playing guitar, singing, went to school for recording arts, which was like audio engineering stuff. >> And then I graduated and I was just
5:32like, damn, I just spent the last four years doing no music. >> Yeah. So, right it was it was like right when I graduated college. One of my buddies had a studio in Malibu and we would all go out like a bunch every weekend. I remember I went to his studio one day and there was this song playing and I
5:54walked in and I I I hear this song playing. I was like, "What the [ __ ] is this?" Like, it sounds like I literally said out loud, I was like, "Is this Chief Keef or Justin Bieber?" This dude walks out of the studio full Golden State Warriors basketball uniform with his hair braided and a headband and
6:11he said he's smoking a cigarette. He says, "That's me." >> And it was Post Malone. >> Oh my god. >> Say Young Le. That's better. >> I'm listening to White Iverson for the first time in the studio before it's released. >> And I just had this moment of like epiphany clarity where I was like, "Holy [ __ ] like if I still made music, this
6:27is what I would be doing." >> Yeah. So I lo I like kind of reinspired my dream and then two couple weeks later the song releases he's out of here. I see him go from like me buying him beer and cigarettes on the weekends going out to like superstar changing his phone number type [ __ ] you know
6:44>> and then I was like let me try this again. So I started doing music again. I'm like singing it's it was kind of like Travis >> type [ __ ] you know. >> But so I I signed to this producer. I signed to a deal, making songs, blah blah blah. But then a month later, I start law school. So, I
7:02release my first song. I have meetings with like every record label, but I'm also in law school at the time. So, it was like this weird like one foot in, one foot out, duality of man, like going to school during the day, going to studio. >> I know that feeling. >> So, I I like music was kind of moving, but I wasn't
7:20all in. So, obviously, it wasn't working cuz that's the kind of thing you have to be fully committed to. >> Mhm. Um, and then >> I was like considering dropping out of law school. Me and my parents were obviously like butting heads about it. >> Finally they were like, "Do whatever you want." And then I was like, "Okay, fine.
7:36I'll just finish." >> So I finished law school, studied for the bar, >> passed the California bar. >> Let's go. >> And then I was like, "Okay, now I'm going to do my [ __ ] music shit." So I started doing music again. >> And then I like gradually Are these stories too in-depth? >> No. Okay, >> keep going. Go deeper.
7:56>> I'm at a Latin music festival backstage. It's this big concert in LA. It's called Cali Bash. And there was this kid who was like equivalent of where Post Malone was right when he dropped White Iverson in his career. >> So he just dropped this song, the Bad Buddy remix. It was called Soel Diablo. His name is Natanelo. It's like Mexican
8:15regional rap, like Mexican regional music. So I see him backstage. I go up to him. I was like, "Yo, I'm a fan. I have a studio in West Hollywood. We have a bunch of mutual friends. He's like, "Give me your number." Puts his number in my phone. Couple weeks later, I like never check WhatsApp. I open my WhatsApp randomly.
8:33And he had been blowing me up like, "Yo, let's link like blah blah blah." >> Um, I need help with beats. Like, do you make beats? >> Yeah, I don't check WhatsApp either. And I'll I'll randomly find it. Like, I'll check once every two months. And I'm like, "Oh [ __ ] I didn't look at that." >> So, he he had been ask like needed help
8:48with some producing. And at the time I didn't really I produced a little bit but I wasn't like good at it. >> Mhm. Comes I I was like I obviously like fake it till you make it. I was like yeah pull up. Comes to my studio. I have my boy there who's like real producer. We ended up making an entire album
9:05together. So I gradually >> How long did that take? >> It was like an EP so it was like six songs but we were on fire. It was like a month and a half maybe. So it kind of just like gradually took me into being a producer songwriter. >> So I did that for a couple years and started out with like Latin rap
9:25stuff did pretty well. Got a pub deal, got a manager. Fast forward five maybe five, six years, I just like fell out of love with it. I was just bored, not happy. The music industry sucks. A business sucks. Everyone's trying to [ __ ] you over. Yeah, I've kind of heard that, which is disheartening, but >> and yeah, I was just like in a weird
9:46place with it. So, I like just started putting my phone up like this >> and like looking at the camera and doing my little [ __ ] and Yeah. Then it just >> What were your inspirations for that? >> For the Tik Tok? >> Yeah, >> dude. I wasn't really on Tik Tok. Like I
10:07was I was like making Tik Toks, but I wasn't like scrolling back then, you know? I wasn't like even aware of the scene or anything like that. And then someone put me on to your videos. I don't remember who it was, >> but it was like your early stuff. It was like the aura edits with like the crazy
10:26AI [ __ ] Like it was just the coolest. >> You should bring that back. People got mad AI, but I'm like I kind of want to do it again. >> Dude, it's dope. >> I think it's it wasn't like you were using it like for like >> I know, but you know how the the art world is. more artistic. No, I love the
10:42way you used it. >> But yeah, and then so someone put me on your videos and I started trying to copy your [ __ ] >> I remember this era, by the way. Yeah. Okay. >> Yeah. So, I was trying to copy your [ __ ] and like but not in a ripping way. Like I was like always tagging you in them
10:58cuz I thought it was cool. >> But um I would literally save your video and chop it up and like use your same [ __ ] But but one of my girlfriends at the time, well, there was two two things. So, I'm doing it in LA. At this point, I'm posting like one or two times a week, and then I'm sitting at lunch
11:16with my boy. Like, you know how like if I get a text, like my phone lights up, >> your eyes might just like habitually look at my phone. >> Yeah. >> So, I'm at lunch with my boy, his phone lights up and he opens his text and it's it's someone sending him my TikTok, like making fun of me.
11:30>> Yeah. >> And I was just like, >> what? Yeah. >> I was like, damn. And he's like, "You're pissing people off. Keep going." And that was like literally this almost close to this day last year. >> So that day I was like, "All right, bet. I'm gonna do this [ __ ] every day." >> Yeah, >> that's a good start though when it's
11:46kind of like you just got to do you. >> But everyone was hating. It was like >> Yeah. But it's always the people you know that are going to hate first. And you have to get through that initial hump of like, yeah, the people I know are probably going to judge me and not like me or like say talk [ __ ] about me.
11:58But then once you like break through that, it's like they want. The funny thing is it was people I knew but not that I was friends with >> you know >> so they don't even know you. >> But at the time it was just me putting the phone kind of just doing this showing my fits >> just being sweet.
12:12>> Yeah. And then one of my girlfriends like home girls was like yo like you're so funny and like you have you're such a character like you need to talk more. >> Yeah. >> Like show your personality. >> That's what made me turn and being like all right this is my homie. Is cuz at first I would see your like copying
12:26videos and I'm like damn. All right. >> You're like annoyed for sure. Yeah. I was like, cuz of course I love when people take inspiration, but then I realized like you have your own thing, too. >> So that's when I >> Well, I was trying to find what it was cuz I didn't know what it was. >> Well, it takes trial and error to do it,
12:40too. So, like I'm I'm honored that I I inspired you, I guess, to start because now you have this whole lane that you've created. Yeah. >> And like where do you come up with some of your cuz you use a lot more text and jokes and like funny things. Where do you come up with all them? Well, it
12:55comes from songwriting. Like 100%. You know, like that aha moment of like when you're writing a hook and you get it, the punch and [ __ ] >> Yeah. >> Like that's how I was writing captions. I was like, "Okay, what's a funny thing that girls have done or that I've done or like, you know what I mean?"
13:10>> And some of it's real. Obviously, a lot of it's just, you know, the crazy character or something. >> Exactly. >> But but yeah, it took me a while to kind of get my niche as you know. Yeah. If you will. You found it pretty quick though. It took me like 3 years probably. >> Okay. So, yeah. And relatively, I guess
13:28it was pretty quick. >> But, you know, it was a slow grind. Like I remember I think this time last year I had like under 1,000 followers. >> And then when when my boy was like, "You're pissing people off. Go harder." I was like, "All right, once a day." So, I was like, "What's one thing I do every
13:42day that I could post?" And I was like, "Oh, well, every morning I go get coffee." And I didn't realize at the time like no one was doing like the like lip sync in front of the car like with the to me it was just like funny like aura [ __ ] you know >> and then >> yeah just my acronym usage became like a
14:00thing that people started thinking was funny >> overly >> you have a couple terms that are like just just yours. Yeah, it was it was fun. But I will say like >> Yeah, sorry. I got a big thing. Yeah, I don't know. >> I don't know. Calm down. Calm down. >> No, literally I stepped on a a crab they
14:16said like 10 years ago >> and it got infected. Don't It's good now. Don't worry. We're good. >> Yeah, but I'm proud of you, bro. >> Thank you. I appreciate it. And I appreciate the support. But it was like a couple like it was that like September to November o uh December when I was just kind of like I remember like
14:31November 11th I hit 10K or something like that. >> Yeah. certain milestones. It's like right now I want to get to a million, >> but I'm at a slow spot. >> I've heard Tik Tok nerfs you when you're about those to hit those. >> Well, it always wants new. It likes new >> Yeah. >> new accounts, new content. Like you got
14:49to switch it up. So, I'm thinking about that right now. But yeah, hopefully a millie this year. >> But I remember, so it was like the kind of thing where I was like happy doing what I was doing, but it was like mostly like get ready with me, fit checks. >> Mhm. >> And then The video that really was like the first
15:06one of mine to go was my courtside game. My courtside with your shirt. >> Yeah, that was like I just like made like a I had made I was making merch for my friend's restaurant at the time, Croft. Shout out Croft. >> Yeah. >> And the original idea I had was Need Money for Croft and they were like
15:23>> But Crow was hitting at the time probably. >> But well, this was before that. But they didn't even they didn't like it >> and I was in Aspen when I made the Crow [ __ ] I was just putting on a fit and I was like this is the row. This is chrome. Call it the crow. I remember I
15:35did it was just a fit check the crow fit and like it wasn't going crazy at the time but maybe a couple weeks later it just started moving. >> And then whatever I was my friend invited me to go sit courtside at the Lakers >> and I was like okay this is is this is dope but how do I make this like
15:51>> a thing >> a thing? Like I'm not just going to go have fun. Like you're on [ __ ] national television. >> It's it's it's the craziest promotion you know. So I was like, "Oh, I'm just going to do a bit." >> Sees the moment. >> I'm just going to make it a bit that I'm like broke and I need money
16:07>> for [laughter] a crow. So I like did a little skit and then I went to the game and I was like, "How funny would it be to like say that basketball like sitting courtside is more aura than playing basketball?" >> And then that [ __ ] just went. A lot of people were commenting on my [ __ ] like
16:20you need to link, you know, Chris Hine, blah blah blah. Thank you. >> And at the time, and I I understand it now, you know, cuz I was kind of like copying you, but also like >> coming off a little >> People kept tagging me in your stuff, too. And I'm like, "No, >> he's not ready yet."
16:35>> Yeah. And that's the thing, too. Sometimes you're just not ready yet. >> Yeah. But then you kind of found your lane. I was like, "All right." >> And I remember I came I came to New York and I was like walking in Soho and I was like, "Chris, where you at? I'm looking [laughter] for you." >> Yeah. But but like tables were if tables
16:51were turned like if that was happening to me I'm sure I would feel the same way. I'd be like grind harder bro >> like when you're ready then then we'll link >> and then it happened you know for reference we went to Sam Bros. >> Yep. >> Had a couple night. >> We got a little boozy. >> Yeah. It was fun.
17:07>> That was fun. >> It's kind of like peak winter then or just >> No, that was very cold. That was peak winter. I think it was January. >> Yeah. Let's without cheating the the three most recent comments on Tik Tok >> on our videos >> just on your >> okay >> activity center >> let me see mine's I think I did a
17:26Charlie Cook >> thank you >> I saw that your the Kirkver >> yeah people are not too happy about that where's the polo from all right you look like him Charlie Kirk um and And then deal sleds on. That's not that cool. Yours could be more
17:47spicy. >> Mine aren't spicy. >> Uh yo, shoot me a gunny. >> I've been needing on to rot tape with my series. People always asking for free [ __ ] >> which is kind of annoying. I'm not going to lie. Like I'm very generous person, but when people ask for [ __ ] it's like it's a little bit obnoxious.
18:04>> You know what? I'm Are we rolling? I'm going to pay for all your guys' treatments because you have to listen to us talk for 30 minutes. Okay. >> That's overly sweet. I got you. I'm I'm sorry about it. [laughter] I hope we're not I know I don't have to, but I want to. >> He's so sweet.
18:23>> Can I at least get a smile or something? [laughter] Like, damn. >> Tough crowd. >> You give her mine, daddy. [laughter] >> No, I'm kidding. I got you two >> hats. Oh, >> so my tattoo first one. What was your first hat? My first tattoo was an Hermes ashtray on my thigh.
18:45I started late. This was actually like the first couple months of co. I was like, "What's something that I won't get sick of?" >> Hermes ashtray. >> And I had this ashtray. It was like the first like expensive ashtray I ever bought. So I was like, "I smoke at the time I smoked weed. I don't anymore." Um, but I was like, I use this thing
19:04every day. So let's do that. Kind of a crazy first one, but >> yeah. Ashley to hold my ashes. >> Yeah. And then Future was like on the same [ __ ] I was like, "Wow." >> He's like, "Yo, I saw this kid with her." That [laughter] got that. >> You inspired him for sure. >> For sure.
19:20>> That was my first one. Then you just can't stop. >> That's what I hear. That's why I'm not I don't want to do one cuz I think I'll just do a bunch if I do. >> Yeah. I just always identified as someone with tattoos. So, I was like, you know what? >> It's time. Also, I was like at that age
19:36where I was like, "Okay, I've done everything my parents, you know, haven't really disappointed him too heavily." My dad always said if I got tattoos, he'd disown me. >> Really? >> So, I was like, "What now, Dad?" >> Your move. >> Yeah, your move. [laughter] But, yeah. So, yeah, they're they're addicting. My tattoo artist is literally texting me
19:56right now. >> What are you getting next? Do you know? Or what's the most recent? >> Most recent is this this baddie on my arm. I just committed to the bit. I was like, I need a bad [ __ ] >> I always wanted just like a superh hot girl. Just thought it was cool. >> And then uh yeah, most of these are this
20:13girl Arbell. She's amazing. She's honestly the goat. >> Wait, is she a black bear? >> Yeah. >> Oh, yeah. >> It's a goth type. >> Yeah. No, I know who that is. Uh she does the stuff with David and >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. She did Bieber's Back. She does Bunny. Bad Bunny. She's done like everyone now.
20:34She did someone crazy that I can't even say on camera that hasn't you know who. >> No, I don't know. >> It's crazy. He's fully blasted now. >> Wait, we can cut out >> and he hasn't unveiled. >> Can you say it or can you not even >> We can cut it out. >> You don't have to decide if you want,
20:48but we get to edit what >> Oh, wow. >> That's crazy. >> Fully blasted. >> Nice. >> Wait, like on the back stomach? No, he hasn't shown anything. >> No way. >> Heard it here first. for leaking that [ __ ] >> It's crazy. [laughter] >> She'll be pissed at me if I say that. >> I know. Don't worry. We're good.
21:08>> David's going to dude, too. >> I've never met her. >> We We'll bleep it out. We'll leave some like >> Yeah. No, you can leave the Bieber. >> We can do that, right? Yeah, we can bleep some stuff. >> She did beers back. >> But yeah. >> When did you get the gun? >> The gun? That was a crazy one. Um that
21:24was like maybe a year ago. I just wanted something that was like really you [laughter] like jarring like oh [ __ ] you know, >> he's he's goth and nice and mean. >> Yeah, exactly. I just thought it was cool. I don't know. It is pretty like when I'm wearing shorts like if you don't know me and you see that it's a
21:43little bit off-putting. >> It's pretty badass. >> Thanks. >> Yeah, I want more. I want to do my back. I just don't know what to get. >> That's like my buddy Ryan. He wants to do his whole back. >> I think this is my favorite one. He's going to do it. >> I love the barbed wire. >> Yeah, that's cool. Really good shading
22:00on that. >> Thanks. >> Yeah, it's like 3D. >> Is it all the same girl who did it? >> Mostly Arbell. My other buddy Noah. He's the one who I who started my channel. >> Wait, Noah, who lives here? >> No, no, no. He's out in LA. Favorite brands right now. >> Uh, Bayga. >> Um, >> the new designer's about to start
22:20dropping all his first collection. What's his name? Yeah, I went to a I went to a party like three months ago. I'm forgetting his name. It's terrible. I'm forgetting his name. >> Daniel maybe. >> But I do I like Bautga a lot right now. Shout out Anti-Promo. Shout out Matty Boy. Um I'm checking his name real quick.
22:42Sorry, by the way. I'm like in slight pain, but it feels really good. But it's like a little like >> it is. >> Yeah. So, I'm saying anti-promo. Shout out. Anti-promo. I have been wearing a lot of anti-promo. >> Louis Trotder. Louis Trotder. >> Trotter. >> It's a new designer for BGA. >> Oh, cool. Okay. Okay. Got it.
23:02>> Did Matty send you that hoodie? >> Yeah. >> It's pretty sick. >> I love it. It's such good like quality, too. The inside's a waffle material. >> Yeah, it's really nice. >> I need to try him. >> It's great. >> I've never like I [ __ ] I obviously respect Bro and I I think he's cool. I
23:16think his swag is fire. I'm not like the chrome Matty boy [ __ ] was always like a little too busy for me >> really. >> Yeah, >> I love it. >> Too many like cartoon like you know >> but feels so good. >> I really needed this. >> We're unpopping again. >> So Bayga anti-promo.
23:36>> Bayga anti-promo. Tom Brown. Still I love Tom Brown. >> Not for me. >> Um it fits kind of weird. Like you I size up like two sizes. >> They're always like long too. I feel like >> it depends. It's just it's quirky. It fits quirky, but >> you pull it off. You wear it well. >> Thank you.
23:53>> It's not really my swag, >> you know. I feel you. >> Um, still Monontlair. >> Yeah. >> Is that kind of basic for you? >> That's seasonal. No. >> No. Like I have a lot of polos. >> Oh, really? Yeah. >> Dude, it's all on brand for you. I feel like >> Yeah, those are the things I've been
24:07wearing for a long time. >> You need to try the Tom Ford polos. >> I know. >> They're really three grand though for one. >> No, they're like 400. >> Really? >> Yeah. >> Oh, that's very new. used to be like 325. Now they're might be like 420. I don't know. Okay. >> Went up a little bit. Oh wow. And she's
24:23putting my socks on for me. >> That's so nice. >> She's the gut. >> Thank you. >> This was honestly a great I really needed this. >> I'm happy I did my first one just now. They look pretty good. Don't Don't show them. [laughter] >> Don't show them. >> Actually, no. They look great. >> They look great.
