0:00In this guide, I'm covering advanced
0:01crystal PvP mechanics that the best
0:03players in the world are using right
0:05now. Whether you're low tier 5 to high
0:06tier 3, I can guarantee you'll learn
0:08[music] something new in this video.
0:09This guide isn't beginner friendly, so
0:11if you're looking to improve, I'm going
0:12to be leaving two very useful guides in
0:14the description. On another note, this
0:16isn't a guide on how to play the game,
0:18but simply how to do advanced mechanics
0:20in today's meta. But with that out of
0:21the way, let's get into the video.
0:30After each mechanic, I will be ranking
0:32it on a scale of 1 to 10 of how hard it
0:34is and then how useful it is in game.
0:36The first mechanic is called expo
0:38carding. This technique is performed
0:39when first placing a rail, lighting the
0:41block behind it with a flint and steel,
0:43placing a TNT minecart, and then finally
0:45shooting a crossbow directly through the
0:47fire, hitting the TNT minecart. This
0:49requires you to execute four binds
0:51extremely fast and precisely. The only
0:53time you're using an expo cart in
0:54crystal PvP is when your opponent is
0:56cobweb countering a mace attack. You can
0:58then perform an expo cart to get a free
1:00pop or kill. Difficulty 7 out of 10.
1:02Usability in-game 5 out of 10. It is a
1:05nice and flashy technique, but you're
1:06only performing this in a specific
1:08scenario, unless you're Marlo.
1:10[screaming]
1:11Next is the elytra stun slam. This is
1:13performed when you elytra into the air
1:15and your opponent raises their shield.
1:17You then perform a stun slam to disable
1:18their shield and pop them with lightning
1:20speed. This is extremely hard to do in
1:22what Marlo mastered to become so deadly
1:24in the air. But if learned, it can make
1:25your drain fight so much easier. Yo,
1:28difficulty 10 out of 10. Usability
1:31in-game 9 out of 10. While this is a
1:33very useful thing to learn, there's a
1:35reason why only one person in the entire
1:37tier list does it. Next up, we have air
1:39placing. How you do this is by first
1:41placing an anchor and then you blow it
1:43up with an anchor in your hand, double
1:44clicking like this. In order to double
1:47pop your opponent, however, they need to
1:49take a damage tick from your sword.
1:51Difficulty 8 out of 10. Usability
1:53in-game 8 out of [music] 10. This is
1:55really good if you're trying to catch
1:56your enemy off guard, but it takes a lot
1:59of time to learn and isn't very
2:00consistent. All right, enough with the
2:02really hard stuff. Let's dive into
2:04something a lot simpler to learn. This
2:06is what I call the the anchor. Hit your
2:08opponent into the air, place one
2:10crystal, one anchor, blow it up to
2:12double pop your opponent. This opens up
2:14more chances to then ledge and chain
2:16your opponent. Difficulty 4 out of 10.
2:18Usability in-game 7 out of 10. Very
2:21underrated technique, but if you're in
2:23the habit of dtapping, this might take
2:24some time to learn. Keeping up with the
2:26theme of simple, let's talk about the
2:27hit pearl dtap. In order to execute
2:29this, you're going to want to be about 8
2:31to 10 blocks away from your opponent.
2:33Then pearl on them while spamming your
2:34sword. This will almost always hit them
2:36into the air, which then you can perform
2:38a DTAP. This always works if you have
2:40the right distance. Alternatively, if
2:42you're playing double blast bra, you can
2:43do everything as told, but when your
2:45opponent is falling down, you place an
2:46anchor like this. Difficulty, 6 out of
2:4910. Usability in-game, 8 out [music] of
2:5110. Very useful in all types of fights,
2:53but it can take some time to understand
2:54distance and timing. Getting a little
2:56more advanced, again, we're going into
2:57anchor timing. Most people believe the
2:59faster you click, the better your
3:00anchors are, but this isn't necessarily
3:02true. What a lot of people don't take
3:03into consideration is the timing [music]
3:05of your anchors. This is how you see
3:07anchor chains from players like Avanti.
3:08Although he doesn't have the fastest
3:10anchors, his timing is almost perfect.
3:12Let's quickly take a look on how he does
3:13[music] this. From all of Avanti's
3:15clips, you could see that every time
3:16before he starts an anchor chain, he
3:18[music] takes a damage tick. Whether
3:19that's from a DTAP or a safe anchor.
3:27For the sake of the video, I'm not going
3:28to get too technical, but to
3:30oversimplify it, you're going to want to
3:31start your anchor chains like this
3:35or like this.
3:39Keep in mind that speed and toteming
3:41play a very big role as well. Difficulty
3:437 out of 10. [music] Usability in game 7
3:46out of 10. Anchor chains are some of the
3:47most satisfying kills to get and are
3:49very fun to do. But most of the time you
3:51end up popping yourself the same amount
3:52as your opponent. Before we continue,
3:54I'd like to ask if you could like and
3:56subscribe. It helps the channel out a
3:57ton. Let me know in the comments if I
3:59missed any of your favorite mechanics.
4:02Next up, we have the axe done dtap.
4:03Contrary to popular [music] belief, this
4:05is one of the more easier mechanics to
4:07perform. When your opponent is
4:08shielding, hit them with your axe and
4:10then quickly switch over to your sword
4:11and hit them again. And whilst they are
4:13in the air, immediately perform a DTAP.
4:15Slow falling and double clicking are
4:16optional steps that increase success
4:18[music] rate. Difficulty 6 out of 10.
4:20Usability in-game 6 out of 10. There's
4:22only one caveat. Ax stunning must be
4:24enabled on your practice server. This
4:26next mechanic uses the mace. How most
4:28people mace is by going in the air,
4:29taking off the elytra, putting it back
4:31on, and then macing. But this technique
4:33completely removes the taking off elytra
4:35part from the equation. This makes it so
4:37your elytra masoning is so much faster,
4:39but this sacrifices the perspective of
4:40your opponent. Marlo explains this
4:42really well right here, so pause it if
4:44you want to read it. Difficulty 5 out of
4:4510. Usability 7 out of 10. Really good
4:48to use in drain, but it could take some
4:49time to master. Last but not least, I'm
4:51going to be teaching you how to triple
4:52tap. In order to do this, you're going
4:53to want your opponent corner to a wall.
4:55Then hit crystal them once, and whilst
4:57they are in the air, hit them again and
4:59spam two more crystals. It should look
5:01something like this.
5:03Difficulty 7 out of 10. Usability
5:06in-game 7 out of 10. Although pretty
5:08hard to do, it will kill your opponent
5:09most of the time if they don't expect
5:10it. And that's it. All the mechanics
5:12dominating today's meta. I spent a lot
5:14of time researching and editing this.
5:16So, if it helped you out in any way,
5:17make sure to like and subscribe. It
5:19seriously means everything to me and
5:20pushes me to keep making content [music]
5:22like this. I got a lot more videos
5:24planned out, so stick around. Thank you
5:26for watching this video.
