0:00Do you want to be this good at Crystal
0:02PvP? Then look no further since this
0:04video will cover all you'll need to know
0:07like pearl flashing, hit crystalling,
0:09and more. So, the first step is to learn
0:12how to hit Crystal. This is a very
0:13important part of playing Crystal PvP.
0:15So, you'll need to learn this first
0:17since it's the easiest to perform. So,
0:19first you're going to need to hit the
0:20player up and quickly switch to a
0:22Crystal and then place it and then break
0:24it. And if you want to make it more
0:26lethal, you can even place multiple
0:28crystals in quick succession. But, of
0:30course this severely depends on your
0:32ping. So, if you're on a server, it's
0:34probably going to be a bit slower than
0:36when you're in single player. So, the
0:38next thing I'm going to show you guys is
0:40called a ledge Crystal. It is much
0:41easier than a hit Crystal, but effective
0:43only in certain situations. So, most
0:46people aren't going to fall for it, but
0:47if you get lucky, you can be able to do
0:50it. So, how you perform it is when your
0:52opponent has the high ground and is
0:54heading down towards you. You place an
0:56obsidian and then Crystal. So, basically
0:59when they have the high ground, they're
1:00going to take much more damage because
1:02when you explode a Crystal, Minecraft
1:04calculates by using ray casting to see
1:07how much rays hit the player so or the
1:10zombie in this case and the more rays
1:12hit the player, the more damage it
1:14deals. So, basically effectively taking
1:17the high ground is actually really bad
1:19since more rays hit you. So, the next
1:21thing I want to talk about is pearl
1:23flashing. It can turn the odds in your
1:25favor when you're just trading hits for
1:27a hit Crystal with someone since when
1:29you throw the pearl and when it lands,
1:30you're immune to the next damage taken
1:32for 1 second allowing you to hit your
1:34opponent but not allowing him to hit
1:36you.
1:37So, the easiest way to pearl flash is
1:39just to throw a pearl directly at your
1:41feet and then start hit crystalling
1:43right after.
1:45Okay, on to the next thing. So,
1:46basically these are respawn anchors. You
1:49might have seen them in game but
1:50probably never used. So, basically you
1:53use four glowstone to charge them up and
1:55in the nether, they allow you to respawn
1:57like a bed since beds don't work in the
1:59nether. And in the overworld, they
2:02actually explode. But actually, there's
2:04a faster way to get them to explode. It
2:06is by right clicking with the glowstone
2:09and then right clicking with any other
2:11item and it will make it explode
2:12instantly without having you waste four
2:15glowstone to explode it. And whenever
2:17you're going to anchor, try to place it
2:19always away from yourself and place them
2:21when the opponent is running at you. And
2:23if you're watching this far, you're
2:25probably enjoying my video. So, please
2:27consider subscribing because these
2:28videos take a very long time to make and
2:31right now I only have 137 subscribers.
2:34So, please if you can help me reach
2:36getting a thousand subs, I'll be really
2:38grateful.
2:39Anyways, back to the video.
2:42And if you practice enough, you can
2:44probably get this combo pretty quick.
2:47And another trick is to place another
2:48block in front of you to reduce the
2:50damage taken from the exploding respawn
2:52anchor.
2:57And finally, I want to talk about
2:59strategy. The first point I want to make
3:01is always keep your health maxed. And
3:04when you reach half health, try to pearl
3:05away to avoid popping because popping
3:08will give you fire resistance and it
3:10will make it easier for your opponent to
3:12hit crystal you when you're in a hole
3:14fight. My second point is choose wisely
3:16when to aggro your opponent because
3:18sometimes when your opponent's totem
3:21pops, so like here, it's a good time to
3:23aggro this. But if you popped, it's
3:27better time to heal. By aggroing, it
3:29keeps the pressure on your opponent. It
3:31doesn't allow them to put on totems fast
3:33enough allowing you to win. But if you
3:36do it late, they might have time to make
3:38a counterattack. So, in my case, I made
3:40a good decision deciding to finish off
3:42the player before he could have put on
3:44totems.
3:45Another tip is after your opponent pops,
3:48to aggro pearl quickly and place an
3:50anchor to finish him off before they can
3:52place another totem.
3:53Another great idea is to block up when
3:56you're getting comboed because when you
3:58block up and pearl out, it makes you
4:01have a safe area to heal and pearl away
4:04safely. And whenever you're low, try not
4:06to gap up on a ledge because it can make
4:08you an easy kill. Also, try not to gap
4:11up near obsidian because that makes them
4:13easy hit crystal.
4:14And the last thing I want to talk about
4:16is double handing. It's when you hold
4:18two totems to avoid getting detapped. A
4:21detap, also known as a double tap, is
4:23when you hit crystal and place more than
4:26one crystal to first pop the totem and
4:28the second one will finish them off.
4:30Double handing is good in situations
4:32when you know you're going to get hit
4:33crystal to avoid dying.
