Pearl Flashing

0:00Pearl flashing. Pearl flashing is the

0:01use of an ender pearl being thrown

0:02downwards in order to inflict damage on

0:04yourself via putting yourself in damage

0:06tick where you are immune to damage.

0:07D-tap. D-tap or double pop is where you

D-Tap

0:10hit your opponent then place and break

0:11two crystals to pop your opponent twice.

0:13Crystals only blow blocks above the

0:14obsidian unless the obsidian [music] is

0:16broken. Anchor. Respawn anchors function

Anchoring

0:18as an end crystal without the obsidian

0:20where it blows up in a 360° radius

0:23rather than a 180. It is also three

0:25times more compact which makes it so

0:26much easier to spam multiple times. But

0:28they can only be used in the overworld

0:30through the end. Totemming. Totemming is

Toteming

0:32the one and only reason why crystal PvP

0:33matches don't end instantly. Unlike

0:35every other mechanic, totemming is the

0:36one and only thing that you can practice

0:37all by yourself and the positioning of

0:39the totem will never change. Ledge

0:41dashing. [music]

0:41Ledge dashing is where your opponent

Ledge-Dashing

0:43comes close to you and you proceed to

0:44anchor and pearl into the ledge to gain

0:45the upper hand in the moment. Safe

Safe-Anchoring

0:47anchoring. Safe anchoring is one of if

0:49not the most underrated mechanics

0:50[music] in crystal PvP simply because of

0:52the damage output. You can pop somebody

0:54in full nether at multiple times while

0:55being fully naked and take zero damage.

Hit-Crystal

0:57>> [music]

0:57>> Hit crystal. Hit crystal is the action

0:59of hitting somebody up and placing an

1:00obsidian and crystal to launch them

1:02upwards. This could happen on a whole or

1:04flat, slow or fast. THE DOUBLE D-TAP.

1:08AIR PLACING. AIR PLACING IS THE action

Airplace

1:10of blowing up an anchor while it's being

1:12blown up, replacing it with another

1:14anchor. This is done almost always by a

1:15double click followed up by blowing up

1:17the second anchor as well. Floating.

Floating

1:19Now, personally speaking, floating is

1:20one of my specialties. Now, for proof of

1:22that, just look at this.

1:30But in all seriousness, for you to be

1:31able to float somebody consistently, you

1:33have to crystal under them and follow it

1:34up by multiple hit crystals.

1:37But what you can also do is that if you

1:38know they are directly above you, you

1:39can spam crystals them in the same spot

1:41to keep them in the air longer.

1:45Triple tap. Triple tap is a manipulation

Triple-Tap

1:47of the first pop to happen at the end of

1:49the first damage tick so the next damage

1:50tick gets scooped up with the next

1:52D-tap.

1:55Flower anchoring. Popularized by Deevs

Flower-Anchor

1:57in 2024, flower anking is the action of

1:59placing an anchor on the top of an

2:01obsidian [music] after placing a crystal

2:03on it. Now, was this effective? no.

2:05It didn't pop them anymore, nor did it

2:07do anything special.

2:09But it was just about one of the coolest

2:10things that you can do. Trifecta. You

2:12might think to yourself that you never

Trifecta

2:14heard of this term before. Well, that's

2:15because I made it up. Basically, what it

2:17is is where you knock your opponent up,

2:19air place with obsidian, and detap them

2:20all in the air at the same exact time.

2:22To my knowledge, there isn't another

2:24name for this. This is because it's only

2:26ever been done so few times, including

2:27ItzMeMac. Single tick detap. As the name

Single Tick D-Tap

2:30applies, single tick detap makes it so

2:31you can detap somebody in a single

2:33damage tick, which is a form of sword

2:34popping or using a mace to breeze swap.

2:36Tick abusing. Now, this is the point in

Tick Abusing

2:38the video where explanations take a

2:39whole lot longer to explain. You might

2:41think tick abusing is something simple,

2:42like timing your hit crystals or anchors

2:43to pop them more. Or maybe if you're

2:45very knowledgeable in the community, you

2:46would know about opposite side safe

2:48anchors to double pop, or even far side

2:49crystal detaps. All of these are valid

2:52examples of tick abusing, since you're

2:54abusing a tick in your favor to be able

2:56to have the upper edge on your opponent.

2:58Now, what people might not know is how

2:59damage ticks even work, or why you

3:00actually need to hit your opponent

3:02before you detap in order for it to

3:03double pop them. In simple terms,

3:05Minecraft runs on these functions called

3:06ticks. There are 20 ticks in a second.

3:08That makes each tick around 0.5 of a

3:10second. But, there's also another

3:12function called damage ticks, which are

3:13half a second. And that's why if you

3:15anchor multiple times in one damage

3:16tick, it negates all damage and you

3:18survive way longer than you're supposed

3:20to.

3:21But, how does this correlate to you

3:22having to punch your opponent before you

3:24detap, air place with double, in order

3:26to pop them twice? This is because

3:28damage tick technically does make you

3:29immune to all damage, except for any

3:32damage that is higher than the original

3:33damage that puts you in damage tick.

3:35What I mean by this is that if I were to

3:36hit you with another ice sword for four

3:38damage, and then if I were to punch you,

3:40you would take no damage because a sword

3:42does more damage than my fist. But, if I

3:44were to hit crystal you instead, and

3:45because crystals do way more damage than

3:47a sword, you would double pop and die.

???

3:51You might think the only way to place

3:53blocks in Minecraft is to independently

3:54click your mouse the amount of times to

3:56the amount of blocks you want to place.

3:57For instance, if I wanted to build a

3:59subscribe sign, I would have to go to my

4:00mouse and click the amount of times for

4:02blocks there are in the sign, which in

4:04this scenario, count them,

4:0633 obsidian. Now, you might think I have

4:08to click 33 times in order to place all

4:10of them, which I do. But, if you ever

4:12played 1.8 before, or you're somewhat

4:14deep into the Minecraft community, you

4:16would know that you can click multiple

4:17times in a single click. Now, for you to

4:19be able to use multiple clicks in a

4:21single input, you would have to know

4:22this mechanic called click storing.

4:24Click storing is a name for Minecraft's

4:25input counters. When a discrete key or a

4:27mouse press is registered, Minecraft

4:29increases a counter for that key. The

4:30counters later consumed during the

4:32client's input process pass. Minecraft

4:34uses these counters for actions such as

4:36attack, use or place,

4:39pick block, hot bar keys, inventory,

4:41swap off hand, drop,

4:44chat and commands, achievements, social

4:46interactions, perspective and smooth

4:47camera toggles. Know each mapping has

4:50its own counter, but does not process

4:52every counter the same way. For PvP,

4:53attack and use are the most important.

4:55For most people, that is their left and

4:57right click. What the process Minecraft

4:58uses them means that Minecraft consumes

5:00several queued ticks in one input pass.

5:03Now, being this far into the video, I do

5:05have to mention I did not discover all

5:06of these mechanics myself, nor do I

5:08fully understand all of them. But, I do

5:10have to give props to my research team

5:12that mainly consists of these players,

5:13[music] and especially to MX mechanic to

5:16MX Mystic. I asked him what was this

5:18guy's name? Well, whatever his name is,

5:20with the Google spreadsheet for this

5:21mechanic alone. But, with that being

5:23said, I do have to show you what he

5:25sent. When two ticks [music] register

5:26press land opposite side of a client

5:29impulse click click storing queue

5:31analogy. Right click one customer joins

5:34the use queue one joins the

5:36Okay. Provide before the after missing

5:38product analogy. Last hurt

5:41Minecraft world window 14 boots now.

5:44Last hit to Bro, what the is he

5:46talking about? Anyways, back to the

5:47video. Now, click storing works because

5:49Minecraft runs on 20 ticks a second. And

5:52in each tick, you can only have one of

5:53each action listed. You were to double

5:55click, right click with a block, and

5:56both clicks register in the same tick.

5:58Minecraft will place down one block and

6:00save the next block for the next tick.

6:02AKA, storing the next click. This is why

6:04you can double and triple place blocks

6:06with a single click. Triple click click

6:08storing are a little more weird because

6:10instead of clicking three times in one

6:11tick and allowing Minecraft to spread

6:12them across three ticks for you, you

6:14have to double click then single [music]

6:15click, allowing click storing to happen

6:17during the first tick. Then during the

6:18second tick, the single click registers.

6:21It will be stored onto the third tick.

6:23Now, you may ask, "How are you going to

6:24apply this to Minecraft?" Basically, you

6:26can forcefully allow Minecraft to create

6:27two actions back-to-back [music] to each

6:29other at the fastest limit Minecraft has

6:31to offer. This gives us some of the

6:32fastest mechanics that we can abuse, and

6:34I'm going to teach you how. Now, I'm not

6:36too good at this, but I have like a

6:38basic understanding of it. Basically, I

6:41have a double clicking mouse. You can

6:42see my CPS counter. It's a little bit

6:43off center, but it's what I have.

6:45So, you just want to time it so every

6:47single double click, you go to your

6:49uh slot anchor and then your glowstone.

6:51So, then you'll have a instant two tick

6:53like this. You can do this with

6:54crystals, too, [music] as you can see.

6:56And then, I'm not like that crazy

6:58consistent at it. I'm all right. But,

7:00there's this one player, Red Pigment,

7:01he's actually pretty good at it. He also

7:03sells lessons in my Discord. You know,

7:05selfish plug right here, right here,

7:06right here. But, if you really want to

7:07learn this, to be like the fastest

7:09[music] besides keyboard placing, they

7:11can possibly be,

7:12then uh you should buy a lesson from

7:13him. Now, I wanted to mention, just

7:15because you can click however many

7:16times, does not mean that

7:18like you could like I could click up to

7:20like six CPS a second. I think I might

7:22have clicked it that much.

7:23But, that does not mean I'm going to be

7:24able to like fully like air place a

7:25glowstone with that. Technically, it is

7:28possible to do an instant three tick

7:29where you go like this, click three

7:30times, and blow up with your totem. But,

7:32your totem needs [music] to be actually

7:33delayed just like how it's really hard

7:35to place down like three blocks.

7:37And you can see I'm triple clicking. I

7:39placed it down one times over here out

7:41of like four times, five times, five

7:43times.

7:44And that's just going to be really hard

7:46to do, especially because [music] you

7:47have to social the totem. But for like

7:50obvi and crystal, you can it's just like

7:52pretty much guaranteed.

7:54And also that you can make them stack

7:55[music] if you just, you know,

7:58double click twice.
